FAM I'M WITH YOU THERE I PLAYED THE GAME OVER 3 TIMES AND I HAVE SO MANY THOUGHTS I HOPE YOU DON'T MIND IF I ALSO ADDRESS YOUR LONG TAGS LIST AHAHA

-The extra voice acting for the old notes and the new notes are so good! Lots of extra info for the Painter and his family I LOVE IT

-Ghost wife's new design is very melty, I think I prefer her old twitchy one but this one is still creepy as fuck

-Yeah Idk why the Rat Queen called the daughter a rat out of the blue there? Does she hate her? Hard to say haha

-So cute that the Wife/Musician also played the flute and loves the color green! But yeah, she definitely has brown eyes in her portraits (not to mention the game art for 2023 has her with brown eyes too so far as I know that's canon lmao I mean the Painter has brown eyes as well)

-The Actor's gloves are pretty cool

-The Writer is great! I love her, I should draw her sometime but rn I have Painter/his family brainrot

-Yeah the 'just leave the house' endings for the Painter and the Wife I found bizarre, especially since his ending where he did that had no dialogue or whatever? Like cmon give us something haha but I suppose they're supposed to be like 'joke endings' or something?

-I'M STILL BAFFLED THEY CHANGED HOW MR. SCOOTER LOOKED?? LIKE THEY EVEN LEFT IN THE OLD DESIGN AT SOME PARTS I DON'T GET IT (also salty he doesn't meow in Inheritance)

-"I loved him the most when he lost himself" like dude the Rat Queen is so effing creepy and her talking about the painter is like BRUH

-I'M DOWN WITH THE LOVECRAFTIAN SHIT tho I'm still unsure who we're supposed to think the Director is, been trying to find that out ever since 2 came out (I have a number of theories but any of them could work)

-DUDE SAME I WANTED TO KNOW HOW THE PAINTER AND WIFE CAME IN CONTACT WITH THE RAT QUEEN AND MADE CONTRACTS WITH HER! Also did they know about each other's contracts or just their own?

-OMG the agency I made a possible theory about this the other day! I was thinking how in the Final Note that the Wife mentions going abroad to see her family and the agency was formed after her suicide, and the contest had a bunch of American writers in it, so I'm thinking she has family over in America? Either way if her family started the foundation/agency that started the contest that means her family knows about the Rat Queen!!

This is a character that existed in boxline canon. They were friends with LOF, but they cut open LOF's puppet to submerge themself in Void Fluid for a chance at ascension. It didn't really work, but their fate was left uncertain. I think they had some kind of ego death.

I don't think they exist anymore. if someone tried that with a mip unit in current canon though I don't think they'd be able to get enough void fluid to destroy the puppet... so maybe it's only a partial ego death? shrugs. neat idea tho ig

So I found this book on Amazon, and apparently it's just a summary of the game story, which some were disappointed about and hoped it would've been a tie-in novel

For 6 bucks? I figured why not. Adding to my collection, and I'm gonna read this shit and see what they got wrong LOL

sometimes i think about the fact that ao3 authors could be anyone anywhere.

what if i got my haircut today by THE lof erin? what if lof erin made my coffee today? what if i made lof erin's coffee today? its just such a weird thing to think about even when i know it makes sense

i rarely get to leave my house lately cause of car issues but when i DO go out i have heard people talking about LoF. like one time i went to my old high school to get smth from an old teacher and some students were just. talking about my fic and they had no idea i was right there... it was jarring, changed my perspective. in my eyes YOU guys are the ones that are lurking... chilling around every corner...

another time it was my friend's friend who was talking about a fic they were reading to our mutual friend, and she was sitting there for a while like "this sounds familiar..." because i had rambled about my fic to her before. she said it finally clicked when her friend was talking about chapter 7, and she sat there for a few minutes wondering how to tell her. as it turns out, the friend of my mutual? WENT TO SCHOOL WITH ME. so when they finally DID start talking about it, i got a call from this person i had kind of sort of talked to in high school and the first thing they said was "bitch you never told me you had ao3!"

- Around the Quintet Jingliu doesn’t mind if you hug her, hold her waist, hold hands or even kiss

- Most likely she’ll have her arm around your waist to keep you close

- Other than the quintet, she generally doesn’t do any actions of PDA except hand holding (+ an occasional kiss)

- She actually isn’t a jealous person, even if she is (which never happens), shes great at hiding how she truly feels

- With her, you’ll wake up to her arms around you, forcing you to sleep and stay with her longer

- One adorable thing she does is she always kisses you on the forehead before leaving for a mission

- As she returns from a mission, she is often tired and loves to cuddle you

- In those moments shes a small spoon-but usually Jingliu perfers being the big spoon

He even corpse whispers a skull some dudes found so they can find the location to a hidden treasure horde and they let him keep it afterwards

So like imagine a giddy and rambly emmrich walking through rivain back to the eluvian carrying a skull like it's a prize he won from a fair and rook making sure he doesn't lose his balance while telling passbys the skull is a prop it's fine mind your business

Rook of course receives a kiss for this before emmrich heads back to his room and crashes out

And in the morning Rook brought him some stuff for the inevitable hang over

Remembered how fun lip synching in and remembered how frustrating lip synching is. Some words, one go bam bam. Some... not so much.

. Also i know i keep putting peter's little jacket on but i am having trouble with drawing arms without fabric and i know its technically he does have fabric but i mean LOSE fabric. If i take it off that would make me lose motivation way sooner if i was just like "UGH THIS DOESNT LOOK RIGHT!!!!" 24/7. I have learned to just go fck it, as long as i have fun the lip sync looks good and i get my main idea across... good enough but im still TRYING to hit myself w that mindset doesnt mean it'll switch immediately 😭👍 still thats gonna be my new mindset for the year....midway through. I would love to say im gonna shut up right now but at this point we both know im not really gonna.

ALSO, I HAVE SOMRTHING SLIGHTLY PLANNED for LOF again, so mayb possibly more fanart. No guarantee bcs im on the fence about how it'll look and how much I'll like it once i get that idea on paper. It's about the new chapter 😌 Dink and Peter are really sweet. I liked that they were both rly awkward on how to take the next step. Eager to, but not entirely sure in the other's stance. It's nice from both POVs ❤️❤️ once again. The writing in that fic is beautiful
