oh my GOD. we know damn well they both missed each other so much but they didn’t want to reach out to the other one after the way they left things (lucy wanted to protect lockwood/ lockwood feeling upset because the love of his life, and ANOTHER very important person has LEFT HIM 😞)

i don’t remember the exact details since it’s been a couple months since i finished reading THB but didn’t lockwood try to convince lucy to stay with him and lnco? and didn’t lucy run into lnco a few times before she rejoined them during the ealing cannibal and creeping shadow cases, in which george kinda had a bad attitude towards her, which is soo.. she can’t hate them!

and i won’t replace you / tell me how to feel about you now

lucy never replaces lockwood and/or george, or holly. she never goes out and permanently joins another team/agency. she works as a freelance agent and briefly teams up with groups such as the one at the beginning of TCS, but she doesn’t stick with them, in fact, she’s always comparing them to her high standard of lockwood and co! and she wishes she was working with them again, and she misses them. then when they all finally reunite, it’s a bit uneasy and there’s some tension that quickly resolves but, there was definitely uncertainty on both sides of “how do we feel about each other now, now that you’ve done something as big as leaving us. after we’ve bonded together. become as close as family?” for lockwood and george. and lucy, (obliviously) can’t possibly understand the reason why lockwood became even more reckless after she left them. and briefly, when they’ve just started working together as a team again, she’s unsure of how to act/ uncomfortable because this is so unfamiliar. she was so used to working rhythmically (everyone had assigned roles pretty much; george with researching, lucy preparing supplies, lockwood going out doing leadership things and holly doing her thing / forgive me, i forget the specific details here, but it’s all in the beginning/ middle of TCS)

now this, reminds me of lockwood and lucy, post THB, again. i think the months they spent away from each other probably definitely hurt so badly. you’re trying to tell me that the love of your life just walked out the door and doesn’t contact you for months, and you wouldn’t blame yourself at all? well, anthony lockwood would. after all those people and loved ones that he’s lost? yeah. and lucy, seeing lockwood finally bringing lockwood and co into the well-known, best agency in london, they both had hoped to become/ bring lnco into? without her, without talking to her, without reaching out, at all? yeah, i think that was hurting her a lot, too.

we know damn well they missed each other miserably while they were apart.

anywayy i wish we got renewed for a season 2 of lockwood and co because I NEED TO SEE THESE SCENES ON SCREEN LIKE AGHHH !!!!!!!! 😤😫😠
