Wuwa got me down bad rn. Played through all the story, it's...okay? Acts 5 & 6 were definitely better but felt rushed as hell. My man Jiyan is the MVP though, his companion quest was REALLY good and I lucked out and got him R3 + sig in 140 pulls. I love the way the world looks and combat feels good. Aalto is also 10/10, I love Calchero's design but haven't played much with him yet, and I'm still miffed that I haven't managed to pull Taoqi yet. The bug fixes have been rolling in steadily so I'm hopeful that the experience will be a lot smoother in the near future. As long as they can continue an upwards trend in the writing I think I'll be hooked.

All that in only 140 pulls? ✋😭 I’m green with envy tbh lmao I’ve had some so-so luck in the past when it comes to gacha’s but never quite like this, it’s actually insane. I just keep pulling the same two characters — Yangyang and Danjin who are both now R4 at this point ndkdkckdd NO Aalto. NO Mortefi. NO Baizhi. NO Yuanwu and I don’t even really want him but at this point I’d be happy just to see a different face pop up 🤣 I only got Taoqi once early on and never again so even pulling her would be fine in my book, haha. And I’m largely in agreement with you about the story. I’ve heard whispers over on Twitter that some pretty big changes were made between the last closed beta and launch because people complained about the characters not being very nice to us at first? And that’s why the early bits feel kind of off … but tbh I’m of the opinion that it probably still would’ve felt a bit rushed regardless. Whereas Genshin kind of eased us into the complex lore and expansive world building at a reasonable enough pace, I feel like WuWa threw an awful lot at us all at once. : /

That being said, the noticeable improvement in acts 5 & 6 left me very hopeful for the future of the storyline. I see a lot of potential here and I SO hope they manage to find their groove and keep the momentum going.

I’m also very, very much looking forward to seeing Scar again … if you know what I mean.

And I played Jiyan’s SQ last night, it was definitely solid. He’s a good man. 😭 Not to mention crazy gorgeous, haha. I also love that we got a memento picture with him out of it. Idk if anyone agrees with me on this or not but right now the vibe kind of feels like they’re not shying away from the characters openly showing interest in us and that definitely makes me hopeful for where they might take this as well. I don’t remember the name of their organization but both Scar and that Camelyn(?) girl clearly had the hots for us so. 🤣 Hopefully no one complains about that because I’ll be mad as hell if they switch up on us after already taking away Scar’s onigiri pussy lol

now onto the scp thoughts: so. reader creates teyvat, fucks off to earth to take a nap, but picture this with me for a second: instead of eventually being born a regular human until you play genshin, there’s something a bit off about you from the beginning. you look human, sound and act human, but the world always seems to work in your favor even when it logically shouldn’t - the air around you warms up when it’s snowing so that you’re not too cold, obstacles seem to vanish when you walk so that your path isn’t interrupted, animals are calm and polite in your presence. pretty weird, but nothing worth alerting any supernatural government organizations about.

i have no clue what would tip off the scp foundation, BUT they take you in, designate you as a keter class because of how your “reality bending” abilities would easily serve to break you out. maybe they treat you fairly well, maybe not, but it doesn’t change the fact that you’ve been locked up and decided to be less than human because of something you don’t even understand.

you dream of another world, a world where you are free to be what you are. a bright world that feels like home, even though you don’t think you’ve ever been there before.

Why it is not recommended to merge the /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow files in Linux

Aadhaar Locking Issue - Solved

"Dear Resident you are either trying to lock a locked UID or trying to unlock an unlocked UID."

If you are seeing this message while verifying or unlocking your Aadhaar number, then please read this complete post. I have faced this issue for more than 3 years and I know the pain. More importantly, I’ll tell you the solution of this issue, which you wouldn’t get from any of the self-proclaimed Aadhaar expert on YouTube.

I faced this problem for the first time in 2018 when Maadhaar app on my mobile stopped working. I didn’t care much as this seemed to be a temporary issue to me. But when this issue didn’t get resolved after 2 months, I wrote a review (giving one star) in Google Playstore. They replied back saying that the issue is with my mobile or internet connection. So, I tried with different mobile set and different SIM, but still was not able to open Maadhaar app.

Then I thought that I might have done something wrong, for example I might have mistakenly enabled Aadhaar lock or biometric lock. So, I tried logging into the UIDAI portal using my Aadhaar number. But every time I got “UID is already locked” error.

UIDAI portal has an option of logging in using VID instead on Aadhaar number, if the Aadhaar is locked. So, I retrieved my VID using SMS service (RVID XXXX to 1947, where XXXX is the last 4 digit of Aadhaar). And I was finally able to login to UIDAI portal. I went through all the options available in the portal, but was not able to unlock my Aadhaar. It always gave me this message - "Dear Resident you are either trying to lock a locked UID or trying to unlock an unlocked UID."

This is when I realized that my Aadhaar number somehow has become “corrupted” and it’s neither locked nor unlocked. Since this issue happened for unknown reason, I assumed this would get resolved automatically. Believe it or not, I logged in to UIDAI portal almost in every week for last 2 years just to check if the issue got resolved, but was left disappointed every time. I started searching in google with this error message hoping that someone else might be facing same issue just like me, unfortunately there was none (back in 2019/2020).

Finally, I started calling/emailing UIDAI customer care. I took the screenshots of the issue and shared a document with customer care. But no one from customer care bothered to check the issue and they were sending same reply again and again mentioning the same unlocking steps which I already tried. I couldn’t make them believe that my issue is different and as a result those steps were completely useless to me. In fact, no one from Aadhaar department or UIDAI was aware that such issue is there in their system! Please see below the reply that I always received from UIDAI customer care whenever I contacted them.

I became very agitated and escalated it in “Centralized Public Grievance Redress And Monitoring System” (pgportal.gov.in). But they gave me steps for unlocking biometric! These idiots think that they know everything and they are not even aware of the issues in their own system. Here is the reply from the grievance department. I don't know how these f*ckers managed to bag Govt. jobs 😒

After losing all hope I went back to Google and started searching the error message again. But this time (in November 2021) I was “glad” to found that the issue is happening for others as well. I found some Reddit blogs, Twitter posts, YouTube comments where same issue was reported. Almost all the replies/responses were useless, just like UIDAI customer care. But I noticed couple of replies which suggested that updating Aadhaar in an Enrolment Center might resolve this. I decided to give it a try as I didn’t have any other option left.

I had all the correct information already available in my Aadhaar. So biometric update was the only option me. My home is about 50 km away for Kolkata. I booked an online appointment at a center in Salt Lake Sector V, on 24th January after paying Rs. 100.00/- online (https://appointments.uidai.gov.in/bookappointment.aspx). I carried the print out of the appointment slip and my original Aadhaar card, and visited the center. I entered the building after showing the appointment slip, they gave me a token and asked me to wait. When my turn came, they took me to a desk and took my photo, eye scan and finger print. They told me that it would take 15 days to get the details updated. I didn’t mention anything about my locking issue to them as I was pretty sure that they wouldn’t understand it. The whole process (from entering the building till leaving) took around 20 mins.

The first thing I did after coming back home was to check if I can login to UIDAI using my Aadhaar. But that didn’t work and my Aadhaar was still locked, so I decided to wait for 15 days. But on 30th Jan I tried again and this time it worked. I was able to login to UIDAI using my Aadhaar. I was able to login to Maadhaar App without any issue. After living for more than 3 years with this frustrating issue which created lots of trouble for me (not able to link my PF account with my Aadhaar, failing Aadhaar verification etc.), finally I can confirm that the issue has been resolved. No one from Aadhaar department or UIDAI was able to help as those morons don’t even know about this problem in their own system. UIDAI portal is still showing my old picture, but I’m expecting that to be resolved after 10/15 days 😊

I hope this post helps someone, as I don’t want anyone else to feel helpless and suffer like I did.

Diluc held a blank look when you went to find him at the Dawn winery the next day. He found it difficult to muster up any words to you which you did not find too far from how he usually was. He wasn't a very vocal person so you were used to him and these quiet moments you had. But for some reason the air felt heavy and the atmosphere was very moody, something was definitely wrong and it took you a little time to catch up. The silence was broken by Diluc clearing his throat before say your name. Normally his tone would be a little lighter but this time it was stern, different from what you were used to. "Yes Love?" You answer as you look up from the book you are reading. He look very reluctant like he was about to regret his next move if he didn't think carefully. "I have something I want to say" Diluc said. This was when you knew something had come up. You said nothing as you close your book, set it on the table and gave him your full attention. His heart started to hurt, you would always set everything aside for him because you knew that he had a hard time communicating. You were too perfect, this was what made him decide that he had to go through with it.

"I would like stop courting you. I just don't think that things are working out and I have lost interest in you. I am interested in someone else, the traveler. And I want to court them instead, therefore I want to break things off with you", Diluc said as he averted his gaze from your figure across him in the dining room. It was silent, neither of you said a word after that. How could you? When just yesterday morning, two of us shared a laugh and an intimate moment. You thought you were finally going to see a part of him that he kept hidden from other people, personality traits that he hid away and locked in the depths of his heart. "I see, thank you for informing me instead of going ahead without telling me. I respect your decision and I hope I brought you some ounce of happiness from the time we were together. Goodbye" You say as you get up and head towards the exit. It took every part of the Diluc to not stop you from leaving the building especially after the response. You were so easy to read but this was the one moment you looked blank, he couldn't tell what you were thinking and it hurt him. But how could he cry? How could it burst out in tears when he was the one who did this to you? Why couldn't he stop the tears from coming out of his eyes and why was he struggling to keep his wails to himself. He loved someone else? What a blatant lie! How did he even agreed to use it? Loving someone that he hasn't even looked at in a romantic sense. He walked towards the window close to the door of the Winery. He saw your form break down in the fields. This was his fault but he was more than okay with just watching you strive on your own. He will continue to look after you and love you from afar , but he would rather not allow you to fall for him when he knew that his life was too dangerous for a person like you. The harsh truth was that he was doing this for your sake, for your safety.
