How to find local Digimon Card Game events near you!

First, you'll need the Bandai TCG + app. If you don't have it already, you'll need to create a Bandai Namco account.

You pick the Card Game youre playing, in this case Digimon, and the region you're in.

Then, on the home screen, you can see current events. You can either click events directly or go to event search.

It should apply a filter for your region automatically, but you can also freely edit and apply the search filters.

Then, you can look through the list of events and see if any place is close to you. You can preview the locations on google maps, if like me, location names alone don't tell you much.

When you click on details, you can see date and time, the store and location, event regulations, and further information on the way the store manages the event, such as entry fee, capacity etc.

From my experience, the stores take around 5 to 10 EUR (in Germany) for entry. Usually, this should guarantee a participation pack at the least, and more depending on how well you play.

But you will have to see these things for yourself, as it can differ from store to store, I would guess.

If you go to local events, try, if you can, to support the store, such as buying boosters or pre-ordering displays. I know they are cheaper to buy online, and no shame in that, but do not take online bought display boxes etc. and open them in the store.

(Yes we had this problem in our store, the owners felt very disrespected and almost decided to close the weekly Digimon events.)

Support small businesses. They have to pay for the location, for storage, for their employees, and have to earn a little more than just break even. They can not compete with online bulk buyers who have no physical store, etc. to pay for.

So our community made a Meal Train page for us now that we’re home in the wake of my husband’s surgery, and the meal train is just 1 meal/day but luckily for us most of the people on the list are moms who have forgotten what it’s like to feed 2 people and are sending us big trays to feed 6 so we are all covered and in fact I’m running low on fridge space now.

"Tsukasa your acting is mid unless you're in hysterics. please go try to be normal" (cue 2 weeks of Tsukasa failing until he realizes the answer is to work with another guy to write a fanfic backstory for his side character with 3 lines. and even then he tries too hard and accidentally fails to keep his side character a side character)

sure, you can get things digitally. but getting free books is not just the importance of libraries (while still very very important). when I lived in a neighborhood where the power would go out over the smallest wind, I’d have to go and do my homework in the libraries. It gave me and my family free wifi and access to computers to get our work done. When I didn’t want to go home after school, the library provided me a safe and quiet space to do HW. There are numerous workshops and events libraries hold for people to go to, ranging from simple writing workshops to support groups. Closing and defunding libraries is a direct hit on lower class communities and we need to fight harder to keep them open.

I’m fucking venting here bc I’m angry and don’t have anyone to talk to and I’m not sure if this is political correct or right or whatever but I’m fucking pissed - I’m a public school teacher who works in the inner city and this year alone there have been two shootings in my neighborhood involving students not dying school hours- and one student who went missing due to gang ties (they were found ALIVE a DAYS later) -

I’m fucking TIRED I’m FREAKED OUT and I’m ANGRY because I have to go into work tomorrow and I have to have that conversation with the kids during our SEL block because they will have questions and bc they are in middle school some will not know how to process it and will joke while others will be genuinely upset

and I feel nauseous thinking about the fact that my mother and four of my closest friends are all going through the same fucking shit as teachers at different schools right now- and my roommate who is trans- and unrelated to his identity is also kinda an asshole- has been shitting on me all night about how I’m not I’m danger like he is and how I don’t know his pain (and while I’m not making excuses I’m an openly gay teacher who works directly with the lgbt students and activly educated my kids on trans rights AND I work for a nonprofit organization that directly works to protect trans and queer rights and JUST LAST WEEK put out a video for our organization on antitrans laws - I’m not saying I fucking get what it’s like to be trans but Jesus fuck I’m fighting the fight for trans youth more than you are working at Whole Foods) why the FUCK are you quantifying suffering, why the FUCK are you lashing out at ME of all people, and why the fuck are you telling a public school teacher in inner city Boston that I have no idea what it’s like to be afraid- motherfucker I’m angry I’m sorry but why the fuck are you monopolizing suffering why do you think you have the right to talk to me this fucking way. I get you are scared but you work in Whole Foods in Massachusetts- the bluest state there is- )

i stayed up til like 9am the night before just to binge read clavis' route for the lucky time (had like 100 unused chapter tickets bc im always behind as hell-) anyway uuhh so i decided to say fuck the order for once and skipped sariel's to go straight into rio's route bc ive waited like 2yrs for this and i am lwjsidehiejdd ALL up in my rio feels all over again rn. i can safely say that much.. he's always been one of my faves and i love how sweet and badass he is and so far his route has just been phenomenal imo🤩
