“Hush, little Tuk. Don’t cry anymore, okay? Is that tawtute really worth all these precious tears?”
Holding back a scowl, Neteyam truly cannot understand why Tuk is bawling her eyes out when their mother forbids them from visiting the human outpost for at least a month. As he wiped his youngest sister’s fat tears, he couldn't help but to wonder what kind of technique you used to hook Tuk and gain her affections.
He had only seen you once, when you were eight and he was ten, when Spider took them to the outpost to introduce you to them. You are the opposite of Spider, who’s loud and out-going. You are rather timid and quiet, simply observing him and his siblings.
He remembered disliking you the moment he saw you, because unlike Spider, you seem uninterested in going outside and exploring the world outside those puny human laboratories. You cannot see. You will not see. That's what he thought when he gazed at you with his scrutinizing eyes.
After that encounter, he stopped going with his siblings every time they visited you, deeming it irrelevant. He relied on mere stories of you from his siblings’ mouth to construct you inside his mind.
According to Kiri, Tuk loves you most among the tawtute in the lab. Oddly enough, you didn't grow up as reserved as he thought you would be. Lo’ak would often say you are cheerful and optimistic, that you can see the world gifted by Eywa, and that you have a talent in singing like your tawtute mother.
His younger brother grew closer to you over the years, and it successfully provoked Neytiri’s ire when Lo’ak weaved you a beaded bracelet—leading to your siblings being forbidden to visit the outpost for a month.
Neteyam personally does not believe that you have learned to see. You must've done something to his siblings, for them to get attached to you like this. You and your kind simply cannot see, for your cup is already full. Selfish, greedy, and destru—
“I wanna go! ________ is having a concert today!”
Neteyam quickly restrained his sister when she tried shaking his hold off. Her tears still haven't stopped yet, streaming down her cheeks like a waterfall. Seeing her like this, Neteyam’s heart softened.
“What is a concert? Why does it make you want to go so badly even against our mother's wishes?”
Tuktirey blinked a few times, before flashing Neteyam a beaming smile. She knew she had to take this to her advantage. As long as she can convince Neteyam to go with everyone, they're safe from their mother’s scolding. Although unfair, Tuk just really wants to be there in your makeshift concert, something you have been telling them about since a year ago.
“It is like a communal feast, brother. Where people sing and dance. ______ can sing and dance, and today’s her concert! We want to watch her sing, because it sounds so interesting!”
Neteyam scowled, disapproving. “If you want to listen to singing, you can just listen to Seyla, who’s the best singer in the clan—”
Stomping her feet on the ground, Tuk began to cry again. “No! It’s different! ______’s songs are different from na’vi songs!”
As Tuktirey continued to cry, Kiri walked out of their kelku with a sigh. She also heard Tuk’s tantrums and felt pity for his confused and helpless brother.
She took Tuktirey into her arms and shushed their youngest sister with a helpless smile. “We can just ask ______ to do her concert again next month, Tuk. If you force us to go, mom will punish us even more severely. She might even forbid us to go there permanently. Do you want that? Hmm?”
Tuk sobbed for a while before she quieted down. Although she stopped crying, she’s still nuzzling her face in Kiri’s neck, sad and confused. “...Okay. B-But you must ask ______ to perform again next month, when we can watch, alright?!”
Relieved that Tuk finally stopped throwing a fit, Kiri nodded. “Fine, I’ll ask her. She’s definitely performing for you next month.”
“Yey!” With a smile, Tuk took off and began playing with the other children of the clan, eyes still swollen but now there's a smile on her face.
Neteyam watched his sisters with complicated eyes, completely perplexed on how someone non-existent in his life—you— could influence the people around him to the point that Neteyam feels that they are somehow unrecognizable.
He barely knew anything about you and who you are, but you managed to make Tuk love you so much, you even made Neytiri fuming mad indirectly because Lo’ak cares for you deeply.
“I know that look,” Kiri started as she played with her sheathed blade by making it spin with her fingers. “_______ is an excellent singer. She said her mother was a superstar, with almost all tawtute as her supporters. Just like dad when he was Toruk Makto.”
The sheathed blade stopped spinning so Kiri began to spin them again and again. “_____ wanted to have a concert—where she sings and dances in front of the audience—to show us how they do it on their planet.”
Neteyam does not understand half of the words Kiri just said, but at least he still got the gist of it. Your mother is an excellent singer, like Seyla’s mother—Ninat. And somehow, you want to sing and dance in front of his siblings to make them happy?
“How can it be so different aside from the song being tawtute songs?” Scowling, he began to eat the fruit Kiri handed him from who knows where.
Kiri just laughed, “Tawtute songs tend to be… on the cheerful side, I guess? At least from what I heard her sing. It makes Tuk dance.”
“So does our music.” He pointed out, voice grave. Kir rolled her eyes and shrugged, already tired trying to make her older brother understand.
“Honestly, it's hard to explain. All tawtute stuff is hard to understand. You might as well go and watch her so you’ll get an idea.” She said it in a joking tone before going back inside their kelku, not knowing that Neteyam took her words seriously.
Neteyam walked silently towards the outpost, careful not to alert anyone of his presence. The moment the human settlement came to his vision, he couldn't help but to feel a sense of discomfort seeing the humans in his world. Although they are considered allies, the humans who fought against their own race to side with the na’vi, the sense of distrust is still there.
Neteyam is just like his mother. He can tolerate these humans, but he will never like them. Coldly observing them as they busy themselves with their studies, something quickly caught Neteyam’s attention.
It was you walking outside of the lab, wearing your exopack as you opened one of the doors in the tall gigantic fence. You’re tiny, Neteyam is sure Tuk is a lot taller than you. Your skin is a lot darker than the other humans in the lab, your hair long and darker than the others. In your small white tank top and cargo pants, you ventured into the forest but still in the safe zone where no predators could attack you.
On your hand was an instrument called a guitar. Tuk once took it home for Kiri to play for your parents. Jake wanted to keep it, but Neytiri told him it's yours, and it would be shameful not to return it after using it. Neteyam remembers not caring about it and comparing it to the local na’vi instruments, which made Kiri upset.
Neteyam was getting impatient watching you walk slowly into the forest, admiring the nature around you that he thought for a second that Kiri was right, that you could see. But he forcefully shoved that thought away from his mind as he watched you settle down on a small clearing, sitting as you began fiddling with your music instrument.
You looked excited, with a beaming smile that is extremely blinding. For a moment, Neteyam understood why his siblings grew attached to you. With just your smile, you seem to radiate positivity. The way the skin around your eyes would crinkle as you smile indicates that you laugh so often, developing laughter lines under your eyes.
He watched you as you sat there doing nothing, seemingly waiting for something… for someone. As the time passes by and no one is coming, the smile in your eyes slowly fades and is replaced by worry and sadness, your figure growing fidgety as your awaited guests haven't come yet.
Standing up, you patted your behind and began looking around. “Lo’ak? Are you still coming?”
There's a crack in your voice, as if you're on the verge of breaking down. The sadness in your tone is so palpable that even Neteyam felt a stab in his heart. Neteyam’s breath stuttered as it got stuck in his throat at the familiar name in your lips. Complicated emotions began to erode Neteyam’s heart as he dawned on him. You’re waiting for Lo’ak. The thing between the two of you is actually serious.
He looked at your pained expression as you settled back down on the ground, staring at your guitar with empty eyes. He let out a derisive sneer, finding you extremely ridiculous. How can you be so ambitious? Your people had taken too much from the na’vi. How can you even think you’d have a chance to be with Lo’ak? You're a human, a tawtute, a vrrtep. You can never be with a na’vi.
Neteyam turned around and was about to jump onto another tree when he heard a tune. The familiar sound of string he once heard when Kiri played the guitar. He snapped towards you, seeing you sighing as your fingers began to play with the strings of the guitar.
Where have you been?
Do you know when you're coming back?
Cause since you've been gone
I've got along but I've been sad
Neteyam looked at you with wide eyes, ashamed to admit that your voice does sound a lot better than Seyla. But as the words slipped out of your mouth, he began to notice the depressing tune of your singing. He thought you’d sing something more joyful, something fun, not something so…doleful.
Where have you been?
Do you know when you’re coming back?
Your voice cracked as you fought the tears threatening to spill. You tried to fight off the choking feeling in your throat as your eyes continue to sting. You cannot believe you’re actually getting emotional just by singing.
We were too close to the stars
I never knew somebody like you, somebody
Falling just as hard
I'd rather lose somebody than use somebody
Maybe it's a blessing in disguise (I sold my soul for you)
I see my reflection in your eyes…
You closed your eyes as you mouthed the lyrics, your chest constricting as you thought about Lo’ak, whom you have not seen for so many days. You sang as you thought about your unsaid feelings, unsure if Lo’ak even feels the same way about you. In fact you had never voiced your feelings for the na’vi boy, both of you just knew. No words needed as your bond is something deep. But as times passes by, you wonder if he truly likes you back as you do to him.
I tried to put it out for you to get
Could've, should've but you never did
Wish you wanted it a little bit
More but it's a chore for you to give…
Neteyam doesn't even understand why his chest is feeling so heavy. He should've been happy to see a tawtute suffering, but as he listened to you sing with all your longing, your pain, your love for Lo’ak, he couldn't help but touch his heavy chest, as if he could understand you, could see you.
We were too close to the stars
I never knew somebody like you, somebody
Falling just as hard
I'd rather lose somebody than use somebody
Maybe it's a blessing in disguise (I sold my soul for you)
I see my reflection in your eyes (tell me you see it too)
You knew it was impossible, but you still dreamt of being with Lo’ak. You hoped as you indulged in the moments both of you stole, so you could spend time with each other, wishing that Eywa could understand that need you have for each other.  But you're only human. And humans cannot be with a na’vi.
So close, so close
Yet so far away (so far)
I don't know (I don't)
How to be solo (no)
So don't go, oh, no, just stay
You wished you were a na’vi too. So there won't be a hindrance between you and Lo’ak. You always dreamt you’d be like Jake, a human that turned into a na’vi. The chosen one. The savior. But you're just… you. A child left on Pandora when your parents were sent back into your dying planet.
You and I were bright, shooting through the sky daily (yeah)
Lighting up the night, wasn't always right, baby (mm-hmm)
Yeah, every time that we realized it's crazy
And you save me
Lo’ak was the light of your world. He made you see the world. He's a constant in your world that when he suddenly disappeared, you found yourself plunged in the dark, alone and scared.
We were too close to the stars
I never knew somebody like you, somebody
Falling just as hard
I'd rather lose somebody than use somebody
Maybe it's a blessing in disguise (I sold my soul for you)
I see my reflection in your eyes (I sold my soul for you, I know you see it too)
With a sad smile, you ended the song and took a deep breath, cheeks stained with tears. Patting your butt, you walked back into the lab and cursed. “damn, i got so carried away for a simple crush? this is so fucked.”
You never noticed Neteyam’s complicated eyes following you every step, suddenly seeing you in a new light. For instance, your songs are not as cheerful as Kiri said. Even though he’d never admit that to her.
He had to reevaluate everything he knew about you, and perhaps admit that you are not as bad as he thought you were.
You're still not meant for Lo’ak though, that is for sure…

My lost child…
Tumblr media
Pair: Aunt Sully human x Spider Socorro (mother and son)
Warning: None. Cute, Kinda sad, Y/N being a good mother.
+REQUEST "Here"+
Note: My baby spider need love and attention. I got sentimental doing this writing. Auntie Y/N would be the perfect mother for him.
Tumblr media
"Are you sure you want to keep this baby?" says norm, as you hold spider in your arms, a baby just 10 months old. The first time you saw this baby was in the arms of Socorro, a coworker. You were from the research area, but you still shared with other friends from other areas of work. And it was also the first time you saw the child of your husband's lover Miles Quaritch, who had betrayed you with this woman a few months ago.
She had a smile from ear to ear, showing her son to the others, with an air of self-satisfaction. She gave you a few glances as she laughed. You barely approach the group of ladies now surrounding the newborn. You decide to turn around and go back to the laboratories, you had a lot of work to do and the mission to escape to a safe area, in order to save the Omaticaya was your priority at the moment. After the war, many people were sent to earth, but some were too young to travel.
And there you were holding a baby that reminded you of all the pain you once had. But, what was this child's fault? None. "Yes…I'll take care of him" you say, pulling the spider closer to your chest. Norm watches you, he has been by your side all along, he knows how you feel. But he also knows your heart is so big. "You and your brother Jake have a heart like a chicken," he jokes. Norm knows he'll be safe with you.
That same night you are with spider, in your room. A small room, which had a very small bunk bed. A small dresser and a mirror next to it. You had to decorate it so it would be perfect for a baby. You are preparing a kind of nest with the sheets, you wanted him to sleep next to you. "ba b aba" spider barks, as you set up. "You're in the mood to talk, huh?" you laugh, as you reach over and give him a kiss on the cheeks. And you lay him down next to you, as you wrap him in your blanket. Your face is close to his face, while his cute little hands touch and caress your cheeks. As he lets out a few laughs. "You're a very happy baby… aren't you" you speak, stroking his golden curls. Spider begins to cry a little, and you pull him to your chest so that his head rests on your chest, so that he can hear your heartbeat.
This hurt you so much…you were not able to have children on your own, you had so many pregnancy losses that you had already lost all hope of being a mother. This was one of the many reasons why Quaritch had decided to look for another woman to give him what you could never give him. But here you were… caring for a baby that was the image of the betrayal that those two people had done to you. But your heart was not selfish, it was not cruel. It never had been… you couldn't be cruel to a baby who needed you. You needed him.
His little hands squeezed your hands, bringing one of your fingers to his hand. "I will take care of you… forever" you speak, as you stroke your boy's hair. For a moment you come back to reality, and there was spider, scared and hurt. His body was shaking with cold, as he hugged you and his head was pressed against your chest. Even though he was all wet, you could still feel the tears coming down from his eyes. "Mom…I'm scared," says spider, trying to breathe calmly into his oxygen mask.
You hadn't seen your son in the last 4 months since the RDA had kidnapped him, and now he was hugging you so tightly, you felt like he was going to crack a rib. " Darling…I'm here…it's ok. I found you, mommy is here" you speak while hugging your son. As you watch the boat sink into the sea. Your whole family was together, Jake and Neytiri and your nephews. Neteyam was hurt, but he was okay. Everyone hugs each other, while your sight drifts to the water… you almost lost what you loved the most in this life. You feel a hand drag you by the arm, and you see it's Jake. Hugging you and spider. "Here we are…together" Jake says, as the other family members gather to hug them.
Hours later, everyone was at the metkayina clan, in the marui that everyone shared. Neytiri was taking care of neteyam, and your other nephews were talking to each other. Jake had gone to talk to Tonowari and Ronal. While you were tending to spider's wounds, the boy was silently watching you carefully place the medicinal paste on his wounds. With such love and passion. "And how is he? Did you like meeting your father?" you ask him. Spider just says " mm yes" after a while you ask again.
"And you saw pictures of her… of your mom?" you ask, spider swallows hard. "Yes… and they told me about her. I even saw videos" says spider. Your heart squeezes a little, you're sure they told him about her. That they told him how wonderful his mother was, how he was such a wanted child. "It's good that you know who your mother was," you say, a little hurt. Neytiri was listening to the conversation, she knew the pain in your tone of voice. You had always had the feeling that the day would come when Spider would know more about his mother and you would move on.
Spider can see your face of disgust and sadness. The boy comes up to you and hugs you. "He and that woman do not affect my feelings for you. The one who took care of me…who raised me, and loved me is you…mom. My mother Y/N" says spider giving you a smile. You caress his face, and give him a kiss on his forehead. "I love you too my life" you speak. " I love you more…mama" spider rests his face in the crook of your neck.
Jake had returned from talking to Tonowari, as he walked in he saw the scene. Spider was still hugging you, while you stroked his hair. Jake carefully approaches neytiri's side, just as he sits down and begins to speak, the woman speaks. "eywa gives second chances, gives us something we have lost. It doesn't have to come in the best way…but it will always bring two lost souls together…like those two," says Neytiri, pointing at you. Jake is thoughtful for a moment.
"Am I missing something?" asks Jake, Neytiri just laughs and continues to look after Neteyam. Jake takes another look in your direction. You were hugging your son, he had never seen you so happy, your smile was just like his mother's, right there he could understand everything. Eywa always brings together souls that have been lost…always.

Lo'ak w/ a Human Girlfriend
Y'all went to town with the Neteyam post- over 100 notes in less than 24 hrs?? 😳 Thank you thank you thank you 🥰
Anyway, here's Lo'ak's💙
Tumblr media
Unlike his big brother, no one was that surprised that Lo'ak ended up dating a human. Along with Kiri, he's always been the most invested in his father's original species, accompanying Kiri and Spider to the lab and learning about human stuff.
His first thought when he saw you was 'there's humans that aren't ugly like Spider??' 💀 Yes, he'd seen other female scientists around but never paid them any attention as they were so much older. But you? Absolutely blew him away.
When he finally got the balls to tell you how he felt, the two of you became the most sickeningly sweet couple anyone on Pandora had ever seen.
Jake, and even Neytiri, were approving of your relationship. In some ways, you brought out a more tender, responsible side to Lo'ak that Jake would praise often.
Now, although this boy is over 2ft taller than you, he's such a clingy baby. His hands will always be on you (not like that) , and there's really nothing you can do about it. Whether it be holding hands, having his face nuzzled into the top of your head, or him squishing your soft waist, his touch is a constant.
Speaking of, you two definitely link pinkies and make pinky promises. Being with you helps him accept his more human-like traits, and it's just one of the many things he loves about you.
He's also fascinated by your human features, and lack of Na'vi ones. He finds your tiny hands and feet so cute, not to mention the softness of your flesh that's uncharacteristic for Na'vi women. And he's very vocal about his admiring curiosity, always asking you questions and giving compliments.
Now, Lo'ak is protective of you, but he's also a klutz. Like, if you ask to sit on his shoulders while walking through the forest, you'd better hold tight because you're so light to Lo'ak that he might forget that you could fall a considerable way. So, you've had a few near-misses and minor accidents, but each time he learns from his mistakes and vows to be better.
Overall, your relationship with Lo'ak helps him embrace the parts of him that he's always been insecure of. With you, he feels needed and seen, an entirely new experience which he loves you for.
Bonus; He definitely calls you babe, baby, syulang, cutie, tiny, etc.

Saw your post about a mother's day event. Could I request a piece where the reader is Jake's sister. She's an avatar like him, & traveled with him & his family to seek Uturu from the Metkayina. During their stay, she remembers that mother's day is coming up, & makes Neytiri some gifts along with the kids. This catches the attention of some of the Metkayina, & they ask her about it. Soon enough, word of the tradition spreads, & a good chunk of the clan has adapted it into their practice. If this is too much to write, I understand. Best wishes!
Tumblr media
Helloooooooo honey!!! Gosh dang this is a cute idea!!! Hopefully you and everyone else will enjoy it!
-------------------
Muwintxu
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sun was out, people doing their tasks, little ones causing either mischief or chaos. It was a good day at the Metkayina village. In the new sully family pod, at the edge was tuk splashing around with her feet, beside her was her super, amazing aunt!
Muwintxu as everyone calls her, or in the words of jake. His “super cute, dorky baby sister junnie” which is a name she hates.
“Hhmmmm……” muwintxu hums out in thought as she too splashes the water on her feet.
“I want night to come already” she says with a groan, tuk looks up at her aunt.
“Why?” she asks
“To measure the stars, time is different here so I gotta use the old fashion way, by calculating the stars” her aunt replies. Tuk tilts her head in confusion. But muwintxu pats her head, “it will be better if I explain it when its night time”
“Ok!” tuk cheers
Tumblr media
“Ok it's 45 degrees more than last week….” as promised, muwintxu was teaching tuk how to measure the stars in the sky. Both of their blue tails curled in fascination.
“When we left it was february in human time….so aha! In a week it will be mothers day!” the sully sister cheers. Tuk gasps happily and goes to tell her siblings. Upon hearing the great news, they all go back to their aunt.
“Your mother hasn't adjusted well these months, so how about we give her the best mother’s day she ever had?” muwintxu suggest, all of her nieces and nephews cheer in joy. Already thinking of what to make for their mother.
“And this time please keep your mouths shut, we don't want a repeat of last year” she says while side eyeing tuk playfully.
“It was an accident!”
Tumblr media
Neteyam, lo’ak, kiri and tuk all explored every nook and cranny of the island. Either being together or doing separate things. The fellow metkayina members took notice of the behavior, while it is nothing alarming, they were accustomed to the sully family being together and away from the population. So what is behind the sudden change?
“Excuse me, can you help me?” tuk asked a weaver one afternoon, showing him her materials. “I'm trying to make a quadruple braid but I can't do it” she explains. The weaver assists her happily, but as he does, he notices it was a band, one a bit too big for her arms.
“Is this for someone little one?” the weaver asks, tuk nods enthusiastically. “Yes! Its for my mama, mother’s day is coming up and I wanna give her a pretty gift!” she says. This caught his attention, “mothers day? What is that?” he asks, tuk began to chat away what it was, by the words of her aunt.
Little did tuk know that she would cause a chain reaction.
The weaver told his brother, who told his children, and who the children told their friend, and so on and so forth. Word began to spread massively of this “mothers day” thing. The name seemed so intriguing, and the word reached to muwintxu who was fishing the next day.
“Muwintxu?” a fellow fisher called out to her. She looks up at him, “yes?” she replies. The fisher had a few friends behind him, all looking a bit nervous. “We heard that something is coming soon, a ‘mothers day’ it was. Can you explain what that is?” he asks.
Sully girl blinked in surprise, guessing one of the kids chatted away of what it was. But, seeing it as an opportunity to connect more with the people, she was happy to explain what it was.
Tumblr media
Ronal enters her marui, tired but pleased with her day.  The first thing she sees is her two children shuffling about, covering whatever it was from her eyes. It raises suspicions. “What are you two doing?” she asks. Her children look at each other then back at her.
“We can't tell you, not yet at least” tsireya answered with a nervous smile.
“Oh? And why is that?” ronal presses further.
“Because it is a surprise, you will have to wait until mothers day” ao’nung answers happily. Ronal felt confused, she never heard of that before.
“Ay, toruk makto’s sister explained to us and the village of a day about mothers is upon us. A human tradition, "Tonowari says as he walks up behind her with a smile.
Tsireya nodes and happily relayed what she learned. “Yes, and lo’ak said they celebrated that tradition with their old clan. Apparently, mother’s day is a tradition where everyone celebrates their mothers, giving them gifts, letting them rest, and being given the greatest treatment”.
The more Ronal hears of mothers day, the more tempting it sounds. A day with no duties to worry about?
“And we, along with others, want to give it a try. Everyone is doing something for their mothers, so we want to do something for you” ao’nung says.
Ronal smiles and closes her eyes, “I do not see the harm in it”
Tumblr media
Neytiri slowly awakens from her slumber, getting up and stretching out her limbs. Rubbing her, ridding of her sleepiness, she looks around and sees Jake, Muwintxu and her children around the cook pit, a delicious smell emits from it.
“She’s awake!” lo’ak announces.
Everyone was quick to surround her, all with happy smiles on their faces.
“HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!” they are shouted together.
Neytiri gasps in happiness and surprise.
“I thought we left that tradition behind with everyone” she says, jake and muwintxu scoff together.
“Never, mother’s day will always happen no matter where we are tsmuke” the sully sister says. Jake nods in agreement.
Everyone gave her individual hugs and kisses, jake of course hogging up neytiri’s attention.
“Daaaaaaaaad!! No fair!” tuk whines, but Jake picks up neytiri bridal style and runs around their home, their children giving chase.
“Ma’jake!” neytiri squeaks but in delight.
“MUAHAHA! All mine!” Jake taunts.
“Not for long!” lo’ak said confidently. Laughter filled their home, neytiri feeling her mood lighten by the display of her family.
Tumblr media
After breakfast, everyone was way too excited to give neytiri their gifts.
“Me first! Me first!” tuk insisted, but was pushed away by lo’ak.
“Too bad baby sister, I'll go first” he says. But he too was pushed away by neteyam. “Sorry baby bro, but eldest goes first”.
It didn't really matter who went first, neytiri was just too happy to enjoy this day.
Neteyam gave her a head piece made of sea glass, with small beads that dangle on the side, while beautiful, it also helped keep her hair from getting into her face while swimming underwater.
Kiri made her a new shawl made of yellow sea weed with pieces of shells here and there, making a studding pattern.
Lo’ak created a new bracelet made of small sea glass and shells, making a omatikaya patter with metkayina materials.
Tuk, though with help, gifted neytiri an arm band that has familiar colors but with metkayina weaving.
Munwintxu made a new top and loin cloth that matches with her, almost in twin clothing.
And Jake said the gift is saved for later.
“You all worked hard to make these wonderful gifts, but really the best gift I can have is to live another day and see you all is enough happiness for me” neytiri says in appreciation.
After breakfast, which was done by Jake and muwintxu, all walked together through the village. Where they noticed something.
Women were being given gifts by others, children and mates all treating the mothers like queens that they are.
“Huh, wonder whats going on? '' Jake wonders.
Munwintxu chuckles, “I um ... .might have taught everyone what mothers day was and they sort of….picked it up…?”
“Again? You did it with the people back at the forest, now you are doing it here "Jake looks at his sister. Remember her doing the same thing with the Omatikaya people.
“What's next, Junnie? Fathers day? Halloween?” he asks.
“Ok first, stop calling me that, second, why the hell not? They are fun traditions!” the sister snaps back.
“Indeed, a fun tradition it is”
Everyone turns to see Tonowari, who had Ronal sitting on his shoulder. His arm on her legs to support her. They and along with tsireya and ao’nung all smile at the sully family.
“Everyone is participating on mothers day with their families! Giving gifts, showing so much appreciation, love, it is so exciting!” tsrieya says in glee.
Her family nods in agreement.
“A very exciting tradition, one that we wish to continue in future years” tonowari says.
“That is if you do not mind,” ronal adds as she looks between neytiri and muwintxu.
“Oh, not at all. We are very happy you love this tradition. My sister introduced this very same tradition with my clan years ago, and it is still very much practiced, "Neytiri says as she happily gestures to muwintxu who blushes.
“However, if there is more human traditions your have, please share with us” ao’nung encourages. This makes Jake grin. “Oh you will love one that is called may the force”
“Jake don't you dare!”
Overall, it was a successful first mothers day in the metkayina village. And many more to come.
Tumblr media
This was short but sweet! And very fun to write, hope you all like it! Until next time! See ya!

𖤓
My husband's gone, don't need to worry
Take you upstairs to the swan bed
Let you fuck me hard as you can
The next time he kisses me, want him to taste red ruby lips
And the love we made and the lemonade
So come on over and give it to me
Lemonade (Nicole Dollanganger)
𖤓
"Eywa, baby, I've always wanted you... since the first time I saw you, I wanted you, pretty human... But he took from me any chance I had of trying to make you mine. He was faster than I was." Lo'ak talked about Neteyam as he ran his hands through your body and kissed your neck, his big body pressed against yours, clinging to you, so needy, his weight and body heat comforting you, giving you exactly what you needed right now. You were feeling broken, unlovable and not so sexy as you used to feel before. That's what getting cheated on by the man you loved did to you and your self steem.
Lo'ak's melancholic and full of pain cooing filled the air as you felt your heart hurt, feeling that you were doing something so wrong but you still couldn't stop yourself from letting Lo'ak's love cover you finally. You always knew he wanted you, it had always been obvious. He was not very good at hiding his feelings. His whole family - Neteyam included - knew he was in love with you.
But he always respected his older brother and you were Neteyam's mate, he had made you his before Lo'ak could even try to. He understood he couldn't anyway. Lo'ak saw how your eyes shone the first time you saw Neteyam, your shyness not letting you look at him too much so he wouldn't notice your interest while you still didn't know if he was interested in you too. That broke Lo'ak's heart. He already felt like he lived in his brother's shadow in almost everything in his life and now Neteyam was taking the girl he loved from him too. Great.
But when Neteyam cheated on you and left you feeling alone and broken-hearted, Lo'ak knew that was his chance and he would not let it go.
Lo'ak just couldn't believe it when he leaned in sheepishly to kiss you, his hands cold and his heart beating painfully fast, and you kissed him back eagerly instead of pushing him away.
Now you were under him.
"Now I can finally touch you, baby... Be with you, fuck you... I can't believe it, princess... I want you so much... " You could feel his cock against your thigh, so deliciously big, thick and hard as a rock too. "You never belonged with him. You always belonged with me, baby. And I'm gonna make you mine now if you let me, babygirl... make you mine forever. I need you so much. I love you so much. I can be better than him. I can fuck you better than he used to."
He was making you so wet. You were feeling needed again. And you wanted him too. He was so hot, his body so toned and beautiful. He wasn't as tall as Neteyam but you didn't mind because, as you were human, he still towered over you like crazy. You had always felt attracted to him and now there was nothing pulling you away from him. Neteyam had broken any vows of love and fidelity you had ever made to each other. You wanted Lo'ak and you were gonna let him have you all the way. He was making you feel alive again and you knew he loved you.
"Five fingers, not four. You're perfect for me. And I'm perfect for you." Lo'ak moaned these words for you as he intertwined his big, slender fingers with your tiny in comparison ones "My perfect human mate. You don't think bad of me for not being fully na'vi like they do." He licked your neck and slightly bit the skin there, his fangs making you feel a rush of an indescribably good feeling coming through your whole being.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
⋆ pairing :: Lo'ak x human! reader
⋆ summary :: headcanons if Lo'ak was dating a human, so basically a lo'ak version of my neteyam headcanons
⋆ author's note :: y'all I'm writing this at 12 am on a school night and I'm literally sweating bullets from how hot it is so I'm sorry if there's any errors
Tumblr media
will bend down and kiss your nose every time you two see each other
you told him about the "demon time" aka 3 am that the people back on earth believed in. So now whenever Lo'ak wakes up at the middle of night he's paranoid and asks you to come with him to the bathroom cause he's scared
he traces his finger along the marks on your hands whenever he's anxious or upset after Jake scolds him
calls you "my heart" because you basically own his heart
your bed was way too small for him to fit on so you begged Norm for a bigger one. Lo'ak ends up always laying on your chest despite your complains about how he's crushing you
he'll stare at people if he catches them staring at you, he has no shame
runs up and hugs you like he hasn't seen you in forever but in reality you too saw each other yesterday
always asking you to sneak out with him during night time. don't worry though he won't let anything bad happen to you <3
will NOT let people make fun of you. if anyone makes fun of you he'll simply punch them
he's never uncomfortable around you so he'll talk and do random stuff cause he trusts you
he never says goodnight without adding an I love you with it
strict about the no going to sleep when we're both mad rule
he has a box filled with all the gifts and letters you gave him
"my love do you remember the letter you gave me when we first started dating? I still cherish it to this day."
secretly likes seeing you get along with his siblings
happy wife = happy life even though you two aren't technically "mated" yet
he'd definitely use your head as an arm rest because of the major height difference
begs his mom to teach him how to weave so that he could make a gift for you
let's you shave the side of his head whenever the hair starts growing again
he finds comfort in you and will come vent to you. please tell him that you love him :((
he gets insecure sometimes but cheers up again when you say that you only want him
HE'S TERRIBLE AT HIDING HIS FACE WHENEVER HE BLUSHES
loves learning about earth customs from you
just like neteyam he swore that he'd formally marry you one day like how sky people do

Cupid’s got me on a chokehold.
✎ Synopsis ! You and Neteyam are obviously in-love with each other, so what exactly was holding you back?
Content & warning ¡ Aged up Neteyam! x Human!Reader. (aged him up because idk how ages work between na’vi and humans, no smut! just kissy-kissy) tooth-rotting fluff, finally. gotta keep my sweet child alive this time (wc; 4471)
Tumblr media
You were always confined within the comfort of your lab and it amused Neteyam to no end. You were surrounded by stunning scenery that anybody would kill to get an eyeful of, yet here you are, laser-focused to whatever you were working on in front of multiple screens.
You were tasked to step into the shoes of Grace Augustine and you took the responsibility gratefully, not wanting her work to be put in vain. You admired her deeply, to the point that you’d watch her every log before you sleep— remarkable woman, she is. It was now time for you to honor her legacy with ambition of your own— a worthy successor taking the reigns and continuing in her stead, pushing her work forward with every ounce of energy you had.
Today was no different; you were cooped up in your little space, desk cluttered with papers and coffee stains evident from the multiple drinks you had. A knock interrupts your focus, taking your eyes off your journal.
"You've got some visitors," Norm abruptly announced, rolling your chair towards the door before you had a chance to reply. You gripped tightly onto the armrests of your chair as you felt yourself suddenly tipping forward, away from your workplace– curse Avatar strength. You could only shoot him a glare as you pushed your glasses upright, standing up from your seat.
“How’s my girl?” A smile immediately grows on your lips as Neteyam greets you. He had a voice like warm, rich honey; when he talked, it was difficult to hear anything else. He reserved such fondness in his tone just for you, it was hard not to swoon. You extend your hand from your forehead, greeting him their way.
“I’m pretty sure your girl has not showered since the last time we visited,” Lo’ak joked from behind, earning a snicker from Spider.
“Ha-ha,” You removed your lab coat and stretched, clothes tightening as you relieve your bones from sitting in a hunched position for who knows how long– you have got to work on your posture. You groaned in satisfaction as you heard your joints crack. “What brings everyone here?”
The Sullys' had ventured out, with the exception of Tuk who was eagerly watching out for everyone’s return, with Spider. They were tinkering with the different machines that littered the lab, teasing each other, and chatting with the other avatar drivers they were familiar with.
“Setting aside my disgustingly in-love brother and his constant requests,” Kiri gave Neteyam a knowing glance which he returned with him rolling his eyes, “We’re actually here to remind you that you need to move your legs and walk. You’re more busy these days, we’re kind of worried.”
You were closer with Kiri, though you didn’t admit it openly, you shared many of the same interests. Much to the boys’ dismay, you went out with her more, exploring the forest and experimenting all sorts of things. While you busied her with your lifestyle, she was just as ecstatic with sharing hers. You learned how to weave, discovered the many healing ways of Na’vi as well as making new ones. You and Kiri were two peas in a pod, both intelligent and cunning, with a shared passion for learning.
“Just.. working on something new,” You replied sheepishly and it made Neteyam’s eyebrow quirk up in curiosity; it was unlike you to not tell him about your works and he could tell from your tone that it was something huge. “It’s going to be worth it, I promise!”
Neteyam couldn’t help but revel in your passionate display, he swears you glow when you talk of your interest, stars twinkling in your eyes. He absolutely hated anything related to the sky-people and their affairs, but he’d listen to you talk endlessly about it, even if the words that would often reach his ears were foreign and had no clue what it meant.
He won’t admit it, but he would sometimes ask his father for English lessons; slyly asking him about words that he didn’t understand and Jake would eagerly answer nonetheless. Oh eywa, he was a huge simp. (He learned that word from Lo’ak, who knows where this man’s vocabulary is coming from.)
“You okay, ‘Teyam?” You tilted your head and looked up at him through your lashes and he could feel the heat rising to his cheeks when he realized he had been staring again– how easy you could make this mighty warrior helplessly smitten with just a glance was embarrassing. He had sharply averted his gaze, visibly gulping.
Unbeknownst to him, you weren’t oblivious to his watchful eyes. He may have thought he could take in your every move without you noticing, but you knew all too well when his gaze lingered. No matter where you roamed or how hard you tried not to look back in his direction, his eyes had a way of finding yours and planting itself there. You both were absolutely enamored with each other and it was painfully obvious.
Lo’ak was the one to break the silence, pushing you from the back, “Okay, nerd, get your mask because we’re going.”
Tumblr media
The walk to the village was peaceful, aside from Lo’ak and his loud mouth, you were actually grateful that they forced you out the lab. Sunshine cascaded in through all the leaves and greenery, casting its pleasant warmth throughout your path. You could feel its rays radiating on your skin as it moved across the landscape– it was a beautiful day.
Neteyam kept a protective hold on your waist as you ventured through the forest. You felt his grip tightening whenever there were overgrown branches or gnarled twigs along the way– he was keen on holding down leaves for you to pass through and picking on every pretty flower to secretly tuck into your hair (He saved some for Tuk and his mother).
When you arrived, Tuk was the first to rush and greet you, running towards you at full speed and nearly tackling you to the ground. Despite her being the youngest, she was almost your height. She gave you a hug, tightly wrapping her arms around your waist in an embrace. “__!”
“Please be careful, Tuk,” Neteyam scolds from behind, holding you securely.
You returned the hug, wrapping your arms around her “How’s my favorite Sully?” You asked, leaning in to kiss her forehead as if she wasn’t literally the same size as you. Tuk giggled in reply, while the other’s expression dropped in disbelief.
“I’m gonna pretend I didn’t hear that,” Kiri mutters from the side.
"I got the whole day planned out!" Tuk jumps around ecstatically, her enthusiasm contagious. "We braid each other's hair, then we make necklaces! We can go for a swim in the pond that's just further into the forest, and then!" She takes a big pause for breath before continuing with her plans. "After we get back from our swim, we can play some more–”
“Hold up, Tuk, What are we supposed to do while you do your girly things?” The youngest blew raspberries, as if to tell him that no boys were included in every activity. Being the child Lo’ak is, stuck his tongue out as well.
“Well we do need extra hands on the spot right now,” Jake interjects, emerging from behind the bushes, breathing heavily like he had run back here. Beads of sweat rolled down his forehead, “There’s some movement down north and we’re heading to check it out. We need spotters while we scout the area.”
“Hello Mr. Sully,” You greeted him and the hard expression that had been on his face momentarily softened. He gave a single curt nod in response, but you could tell he was somewhat surprised to see you there.
“Is it serious?” Neteyam immediately asks, face contorting to complete worry. It might’ve been a bad time to bring you out here and he couldn’t help but feel nervous.
“No, no.” Jake was quick to ease his worries, shaking his head. “Hopefully not, but it’s best if we move out now.”
Neteyam quickly turns to you and your expression mirrored his concerning one. He rested his hand on your shoulders, “Wait for me here, alright?” You nodded, taking hold of his hand and gently massaging it in comforting circles. This small gesture seemed to ease the tension within him and he squeezed your hand affectionately before running off to their hut and grabbing his bow.
Jake watched as the scene unfolded before him, a feeling of familiarity washing over him. He couldn't help but grin as he said his goodbyes, catching himself in his own reminiscing– young love was just something else and he found it brewing between you and his son, just like how his and Neytiri’s grew.
Your gaze followed their retreating figures as they were swallowed up by the towering trees and cascading vines. You remain still for a few moments, worried for whatever awaits their travel, not until Tuk softly grabs onto your wrist and pulls you to follow her alongside Kiri. With a deep breath, you trailed behind, ready to spend the day with them.
The sun shone brightly as the day carried on. It was hard not to enjoy yourself, not when Tuk was radiating such energy. Even after all the hiking and climbing, her excitement remained in every activity. It was infectious, you loved this bundle of joy with all your heart. It only seemed to calm when you laid on the rocks, drying yourselves after swimming. She swears she only needs to nap, a recharge, before continuing with her plans– but as soon as her soft snores hit your ears, you knew she was done for the day.
You chuckled before shutting your eyes yourself. The sun is warm and pleasant, the breeze refreshing. It feels like an eternity since you have been able to just let go of stress and simply enjoy the present. You take in all of nature's serenity, letting it fill every inch of you with solace. You breathe in deeply as your lungs fill with crisp air and then exhale slowly, releasing any tension that has gathered up within you.
After a while, the sound of Kiri’s voice jolts you awake. “When are you telling my brother?”
Unable to process her words yet, you turn your head to her in complete confusion, “What?”
“Oh you know, you and your obvious feelings for him.” She replied casually, almost smug even. “You both are so disgustingly in love with each other, what’s with all the hold up?”
“Kiri, I’m human,” You told her, like it was all the reason she needs to hear, but her gaze is relentless– beckoning you to continue. “Not until my avatar is finished, at least. I wanna be able to hold him, to feel him without constraints. Do you know how much rash I’m getting from this stupid mask? It’s so itchy and the straps are never tight enough or loose, it’s just–” You were rambling at this point, frustrations boiling over.
You groaned, “But that’s besides the point. I wanna be able to look at him like I’m capable of taking hold of his heart myself, not like this.”
She chuckled, her eyes turning away from you and back up to the sky. “Believe me, you already have it.”
Tumblr media
Neteyam marched back to the familiar path towards their home, shoulders heavy in disappointment. It was a false alarm and they were greeted with nothing but stray animals littered around the forest. Unfortunately for him, the day was already ending and there was no doubt that everyone would be tired already when they returned. When he arrived, Tuk was sleeping soundly, nestled in Kiri’s embrace. Her chest heaved ever steadily with each gentle breath as you brushed back the braids that covered her face, careful not to wake her.
He quickly strides over to you, gripping your shoulders in his hands and at first, you are taken aback by the sudden hold on your body. Then, as soon as you recognize who it is, a wave of relief washes over you; Neteyam was back and you were more than glad that he had returned unharmed, “‘Teyam! How did it go?”
Before he could reply, Kiri gave him a teasing look before speaking. “I’m gonna go and tuck Tuk in, she’s all yours brother.”
After a beat of silence, Neteyam was the first to speak. “Bet Tuk had tired you out,” You laughed heartily as you both stared as Kiri made her way back to their hut with Tuk, “But I need you for one more journey, you up for it?”
He had a way of looking at you, one that couldn’t be denied. His eyes pleaded– begged for you to follow, and he could see the desire in your own eyes when you stared back. What’s a few scolding from Norm when you could spend time with Neteyam? “Lead the way, mighty warrior.”
Tumblr media
You pestered him the whole journey, asked him where he was taking you every second. Neteyam would only laugh in reply, shaking his head to tell you that you just have to see for yourself. Not long after, the tree of voices shone from a distance, and you felt your lips parted in awe.
You’ve only heard of it from Grace in her videos, so to finally witness it yourself felt absolutely unreal. You were completely staggered by its splendor, you couldn’t help but ghost your fingers over the glowing vine-like roots– it was beyond anything you had ever imagined. Pandora was quite the treasure, the lush greenery and the remarkable landscapes of this world amazed you at every turn; it always felt like a dream when you let yourself wander around.
As you walked further aimlessly, like the sight itself had lulled you to come closer, Neteyam remained unmoved. His gaze was fixated on you, intently following each step you took, as the lights shone around your body like a gentle embrace. He was surrounded by such beauty, and it seemed like the only masterpiece here was you.
When you finally turned and noticed his absence, you smiled and beckoned him to follow– Oh Eywa, save him now, he knew he was as good as dead. His heart raced in his chest and he felt like his lungs had suddenly stopped working; the plan he so carefully thought of had evaporated and his mouth had gone dry. You stood there so prettily and it made him feel small.
He slowly made his way towards you, holding onto your forearm. Only now did you notice his stiff shoulders, how cold his skin was in contrast to the warm atmosphere. You worriedly gazed upon him as you tried to decipher his expression, figuring where the underlying tension came from. You stepped back slightly, getting a good look on him.
“Why did you bring me here?”
Your voice was quiet, but it was enough to draw Neteyam’s attention. He couldn't help but take notice of every detail in your face; the lilac light bathing you in its hue as he memorized the way you looked. His gaze dropped to the floor briefly before he met your stare again, unable to look away for even a second. “I am of age already,” his voice started out small, “Mother has been asking me if I have chosen.”
You knew of their tradition, knew how life goes for everyone, but to hear it from him had caused a sting from the inside. Neteyam would need a mate– a strong Tsahik that would accompany him once he takes on the role of being the clan leader and it hurts to think that you could never fit that role.  “Have you?” Your eyes widens, peering up at him. It was difficult to ignore the distinct tone of disappointment in your words, and the way it hung in the air.
“No, not yet.” He was quick to answer, wanting to ease the worried look on your face, “Not until you choose me too.”
“Oh, Neteyam,” His words came as a shock and you could hardly process them. The sound that escaped your lips could only be described as dejected, like you had instantly denied him without a second thought and you were now considering how best to reject him gently. His heart sank, trying his best not to be discouraged– not yet.
He chose you. He’s choosing you and he’s waiting. His words reverberated like an echo inside your mind and it caused you to complete dysfunction. This moment of indecision felt both exhilarating and paralyzing all at once; it was enough to make your heart pound faster in your chest as apprehension took hold of the moment. You clearly liked him too, the great mother knows how much your soul yearns for him, but this is something you shouldn’t decide on the course of your emotions. You knew very well how impossible it was.
“I don’t think you should fall in love with someone like me,” Your words were heavy, unwilling, as they escaped your lips. You wanted nothing more than to run to him, to tell him that you’ve chosen him the very moment you laid your eyes on his– but you chose to bite your tongue.
“Someone like you?” His eyebrows furrowed in confusion, unable to comprehend.
You shook your head and raked your fingers through your hair, feeling the frustration coursing through you. “Someone that’s not like you.” You rephrase, hoping that he gets the message. “You are to be olo’eyktan and I’m not even Na’vi– the people won’t approve of us.”
You didn’t miss how his eyes had turned crestfallen; you were sure you could even hear his own heart breaking. His grip loosened as he walked past you, striding through the hanging vines, “This place is for prayers to be heard.”
You trailed behind him desperately, “Neteyam, listen to me–”
He quickly cuts you off, turning sharply towards you. “And I’ve been told what to do my entire life, __. What I must do, how I should act.” Neteyam’s shoulders are slumped defeatedly as he looks at you, grabbing both your hands, caging it with his, and warming it with a soft kiss. “You’re the only thing I’m asking for and I’m begging to be answered.”
His voice is pleading and you hate to be the one to let him down. With another heavy sigh, you reluctantly drew your hands away from his, “Are you willing to wait?”
Tumblr media
You plagued his mind. You had not visited, nor had he either. The days seemed to drag on, and still there was no word from you.
It cost him his peace of mind; Neteyam has been slacking on his duties and his own family was not blind to the fact that their usual patient eldest had become irritable, a frown gracing his face everyday as he continued with training. His mind had been troubling him and his stomach had been twisting and turning into an ever-tightening knot. He wanted to come see you, heck, he’d even take his words back if it meant everything would stay the same.
This day was no different. The training went south and all his shots were off their mark, stance completely off. His frustrations mounted when the whisperings took place and realized they’ve been talking about him, the humiliation was unbearable– he just couldn’t think straight.
“Trouble in paradise, bro?” Lo’ak had followed after his brother, who had just gotten a scolding from Jake. He had dismissed him harshly, feeling just as frustrated from how his eldest was acting these days. “How did the plan go anyway?”
“Horrible!” He immediately blurted out, followed by a loud groan. “It was stupid to catch her off guard, it was stupid to tell her by surprise.” He knew in that moment that he had erred greatly; there was no way to undo the shock and upset you must have felt that very moment. He felt a wave of guilt wash over him, regret coursing through his veins with each passing second.
Lo’ak threw his head back in surprise. He had never seen his usually composed brother like this before, the last few days consisted of nothing but pure panic and it was hard not to enjoy seeing his brother all frantic. “What were you meant to do? Say, hey __ I’m about to confess to you at the tree of voices, compose yourself alright?”
He groans for what feels like the millionth time today, “What are you doing here, Lo’ak?”
He crossed his arms with a smug expression, “‘bout to give you words of advice because unlike you, I’m a hit with the ladies.” Neteyam let out an exasperated sigh and swatted his brother’s shoulders in an attempt to silence him.
“Get lost, you’re not helping with anything.” His temper was reaching its boiling point as he desperately tried to convince Lo’ak to leave him alone, wanting nothing more than to be left to his own self-pity.
Lo'ak finally concedes, turning to make his way back on the path he came from. "She likes you too, maybe even more than you do," he says before stopping. "Believe me, the wait is worth it!" He raises his voice and then continues walking away until he is lost among the trees.
He knew something that he didn't and it makes him more and more agitated.
He ventured further into the forest, sitting down on a nearby stump and carefully tending to his arrows. He sharpened each tip with precision, eyebrows furrowed heavily in concentration. Not long after, his ears perked up at the sound of footsteps softly padding closer. As the steps grew louder, he knew someone was coming towards him. He tensed up, wanting nothing more than to send Lo’ak away again.
“What do you want this time, Lo’ak?” His tone was harsh and he didn’t even spare him a glance. Neteyam was met with a chuckle that sounded nothing like his brother’s and immediately, his heart started to race.
“Penny for your thoughts, mighty warrior?” You cringed on the inside, feeling absolutely lame.
His head snaps up, eyes widening in shock. "___?" he blurts out in disbelief.
“Surprise?”
His mind has got to be fucking with him. Neteyam immediately stands, taking a few hesitant steps towards you– or at least, what he thought was you. You were Na’vi– You no longer bore your usual appearance of green cargo pants which were always slightly too large in size and that stained shirt that had countless coffee marks splattered across it, now changed with nothing but a beaded necklace and a loincloth like theirs.
He couldn’t help but let his eyes wander— every curve and creases of your body, the stripes that adorned your blue skin, the plain between your breasts. You weren’t you but there was no doubt that it was your sweet voice that he heard; the same doe eyes that peered above him, the same gaze that held so much wonder.
You visibly gulped at his reaction as his gaze continued to travel over your avatar, the silence making you a bit uneasy. You had worked tirelessly on your creation; multiple cups of coffee had kept you up all night, and your human body had most likely shed pounds due to the lack of nutrition. After he had confessed, you knew you had to finish immediately– wanting nothing more than to feel him around you without him being so protective of your fragile body. You tilted your head to meet his intense stare, nudging him softly, “Neteyam, say something.”
This was what you’ve been working on for months, he has realized, you had successfully created your own avatar.
“__?” He called your name again, mouth agape and unsure.
“Wanted to surprise you,” Your voice trailed off, fingers softly grazing his rigid shoulders. You bit your lip anxiously, nervously awaiting his response. He stared at you intensely, and you couldn't help but feel like a tiny little speck under his gaze. “So.. what do you think?” You finally asked him after a few moments of silence had passed between the two of you.
“Think I need to..” He said, barely above a whisper as he gently tugged you close against him, unconsciously licking the bottom of his lips. “Think I need to confirm a hypothesis.” He finished, grabbing your hands to rest above his shoulders while his hands landed on the curve of your hips, rubbing circles on the skin with his thumb. Your breath caught in your throat, the tiny flutter of butterflies beginning to riot in your stomach. It was unlike him to be so bold— always hesitant to hold you in any way when you were in your human form. You looked so fragile, so little beside him.
But now he could hold you close and he was trying so hard not to close the distance, doing his best to keep his composure despite the unbearable temptation to bridge the gap between you and him. You kept him waiting for weeks, his needs were dire.
A laugh slipped from your lips and Neteyam’s ears perked up delight from the sweet sound, “Hypothesis?” You muttered incredulously. The word rolled so foreignly from his tongue, accent thick, and you didn’t believe he was capable of picking up some of the terms you used in the lab. You realized he had been listening despite his dislike towards your kind. “Where did you get that word, huh?”
He chuckled in reply, so low you could feel it vibrate from the lowest pits of your stomach. “Come on, pretty girl, just need a sample from you,” Neteyam lifted your chin, leaning in closer— “If you let me,”
You closed the gap yourself, sealing a kiss on his lips. It was soft against yours, almost like it matched the sweetness of his voice– everything about him was goddamn perfect. You felt a shiver down your spine as he kissed you back, hand snaking up to hold your nape tenderly. The world seemed to stand still around the two of you, suspended in that very moment. Eywa had answered and she makes no mistake.
You could feel his lips curving into a knowing grin as he feels you pulling away, both of you breathless and giddy. You drew away from him, trying to steady the pace of your heartbeat, “Final verdict?” You joked, smile growing.
His response was immediate, eager, as he reached out for you again. Neteyam brushed back strands of your hair while drawing you impossibly closer– his gaze remained fixed on yours and you could feel how his heart pounded against your own,
“Think I need more than just one kiss from you.”

Star-crossed | Lo'ak x fem!human!reader part 3/?
Tumblr media
A.N: Omg part 3 finally, thank you for all your patience my lovelies, this story is still ongoing and yeah, I'm back baby. Also shh, shh, I've been reading a lot of Goethe, okay?
Warnings: once again, both Lo'ak and the reader are 20y/o, , MINORS DO NOT INTERACT with this or anything on my accounts. NSFW!!! mentions of smoking (don't do it, I'm begging), brief mentions of a/b/o dynamics (nesting), intense making out, heavy petting.
words: 3.3K
summary: reader is a human left behind on pandora, she grew up with the remaining humans who'd been aloud to stay on the planet after the war and has been friends with the Sully clan her entire life. She and Lo'ak were best friends until he began to pull away from her in their teen years for seemingly no reason. This story is about them reconnecting on the day of her twentieth birthday, and dealing with the feelings they have for each other and the obstacles that come with them being from two different worlds.

Na'vi words:
Ngaytxoa= I'm sorry
“I have so much in me, and the feeling for her absorbs it all; I have so much, and without her it all comes to nothing.”  ― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, The Sorrows of Young Werther.
Lo'ak had gotten himself into an infinite array of stupidly frightful and dangerous situations in his lifetime. He was more than used to the feeling of his life flashing before his eyes. But nothing, not even the very real threat he'd just escaped of being mauled alive by a Thanator had scared him quite as much as what y/n had just done. Eywa was the keeper of all life on Pandora, and that life hung on a very precarious balance. Everything that was taken will eventually be given back, and vice versa. What was the price that now hung over his own life?
"What have you done?" He hissed at y/n as she got up and turned away from him, her arms crossed over her chest. "Is everything a joke to humans? Eywa is not a friend you can simply ask a favor from-"
"I saved your life!" She snapped back at him, livid from being compared to the rest of the Sky people. But of course, y/n knew by now that was all she was to him. "I don't need you to lecture me, I knew exactly what I was doing and I'm ready to pay the consequences, whatever they may be. I'm not a child, Lo'ak. I can make my own decisions, I figured you of all people would understand."
"Understand?" Lo'ak almost laughed, completely dumbfounded by her words. "Understand what? That you're on a path to destroying yourself? Don't think I don't know what you were doing outside before." He gave her a hard stare, now standing up to tower over her. Y/n felt herself go very pale. She had never intended for anyone to find out about her smoking, and even though it was none of Lo'ak's business, she still felt deeply ashamed.
"So that's what you were doing out there. Spying on me-" Y/n decided to accuse him back, but Lo'ak wasn't going to let her get off that easy. "Nah, nah, we're still talking about you here. Kiri told us her mother was addicted to those things. You might think I'm some dumb savage and try to lie to my face, but I know exactly what they are and what they do to your body!"
Y/n was taken aback. Lo'ak was seething and physically shaking. She knew how much he loved his family, and understood why her vice would have been a slap in the face to his sister, but his reaction was still out of order. Little did she know that her already shorter life span compared to his own weighed on him more and more with each passing day, and discovering she was actively cutting her own life short was a blow to the heart.
"Oh look who's talking! When have you, Lo'ak Sully, ever stopped yourself once from being reckless?" She retorted. "You're right about Kiri, and none of them know, so let's keep it that way. As far as my well-being is concerned, I can hardly see why that would be any of your business." Lo'ak was about to cut her off again, but she continued. "And don't you ever put words like 'dumb savage' in my mouth again. I know we haven't seen each other in so long... but how could you-" A small sob escaped her lips and she was quick to wipe a tear from her cheek. "How could you think... that I see you in such a way...?"
Lo'ak looked down at his hands in shame. He'd just gone and made y/n cry. And he didn't even have the guts to look back into her eyes, which were now brimming with tears. Why had he come? Why couldn't he have just kept himself away like he'd promised himself he would have all those years ago?
"Lo'ak, you were my... entire world. Then you left, and I accepted that you had to grow up and take on your responsibilities. I always knew you had bigger things in your future, way beyond your friendship with me..." Y/n hugged herself, holding her arms around her middle. "And if somewhere along the way you decided to hate me, I accept that too. But I won't... I won't let you turn me into this demonized version you have of me now. I don't hate you. I will never think of you as a savage. I don't care if you're here trying to start an argument with me as a way to make you cope with your sudden guilt-"
"Then what else can I do?" He snarled, finally looking back at her. "Because I've tried staying away, and somehow, I'm shit at that too."
Y/n was at a complete loss. Lo'ak wasn't making any sense. He was the one who'd made the decision to walk away from her, not the other way around. She was certain she had never given him any indication of wanting him gone from her life.
"You still don't get it, do you?" He shook his head, an awkward grin taking over his features. Though, y/n noted, she had probably never seen him in so much pain. "I need you to tell me to stay away. I need you to tell me how much you hate me, how badly I make you sick." As he said this, Lo'ak began to make his way over to where y/n was leaning against the wall, her eyes wide and glued to his.
Y/n shook her head, forgetting about why she'd been so upset, now that Lo'ak genuinely looked like he was on the verge of sanity. "No. Lo'ak I'm not going to do that. Whatever it is, whatever's going on, it's going to be-"
"No?" He asked sardonically, a frown crossing his features again before he wiped a hand down his face. "How about I tell you the real reason why I had to keep myself away from you all this time? See if you don't hate me then..."
Y/n held her breath. Not because she was scared of Lo'ak or what he was about to say, but because he was so close she was forgetting how to breathe.
Here goes nothing, thought the Na'vi. Sure that it was the last thing he was ever going to say to y/n before she chased him out of her home.
"My stupid, useless heart... made me fall for you... from the day we first met..." Lo'ak shook his head again, almost as if he was telling y/n something shameful and disgusting. Meanwhile, y/n was certain her own heart had stopped beating in her chest. "And by the time I was sixteen... I realized... there is nobody else for me... and no matter how much I tried, I couldn't-I couldn't stop myself from thinking of you in a way that was... wrong." He got down to his knees, unable to keep holding up his weight on the low ceiling above him.
"Wrong?" Y/n managed to ask in a whisper. Lo'ak was telling her all the things she could only have hoped to dream of her entire life, but he looked like he was nothing but sick to his stomach as he was saying them to her. She reached out to him, trying to touch his face as she got on the tip of her toes. "Those are the most beautiful words anyone has ever said to me. And I'm hearing them from you, Lo'ak. How could any of this be wrong?"
Lo'ak retracted from her touch almost as if he'd been burnt and all of a sudden, his anger back with a force.
"Look at me!" He cried out, tail whipping back and forth, while his ears were drawn back and his fangs were on full display. "No, really look at me, y/n. Because I know you're smart, so please don't pull that naive bullshit on me..."
Of course, y/n knew what Lo'ak was talking about, but she'd always felt like the one who was wrong for him and not the other way around. "I'm-I'm not being naive, Lo'ak. I'm just saying... that I've waited my whole life to hear you say those words, even though it's selfish of me to even think you could be with me... I'll never be able to keep up with you physically, I'm the one who will never understand what it's like to make a bond. I can't give you a family nor will I ever pass all the hurdles to be a true Omaticaya."
Listening to y/n words made Lo'ak realize how wrong he'd been in thinking he was alone in his heartbreak. He pulled y/n in his arms, mindful of how small and frail she was compared to him. She laughed a little through her tears and held on to him, knowing that was his way of apologizing to her. "The way look has nothing to do with this... no actually, maybe if you weren't such a handsome skxawng, we wouldn't be in this mess right now..." She giggled and he hissed at her playfully, but his somber mood quickly returned.
"I don't care about all those things you just said... about the clan, about having kids..." He said, his voice now sounding raw. "And you're wrong... the way I am physically, compared to you, has everything to do with this. Y/n I can't even fit in your home without having to get on my knees..." Y/n pressed her forehead against his chest, listening to his heartbeat steadily rise. "You know, I hated when dad used to measure our height... every time it felt like I was getting further and further away from you-"
"But that's not true Lo'ak-"
"How are you not afraid? I could easily break you in my hands as you are now without having to try..." Y/n looked up at him, her face showing no signs of worry. Only absolute trust. "You don't know what it's like... I live with the fear of accidentally slicing your skin open with my fangs, of hurting you when I want nothing more than to be the one who makes you feel good and safe..."
Y/n felt her face go red, and she noticed Lo'ak's cheeks livening up with color too at the sound of his own confession. She felt somewhat guilty, seeing as he'd just confessed a very real and damaging fear to her, but now it was almost impossible to get certain scenarios out of her head. While she was aware the Na'vi mated for life, she'd come to know from Neteyam and Kiri that sex before 'bonding' forever with someone was pretty common. She was certain Lo'ak had already had his fair share of experience and being with him was not going to prevent him from someday finding his true mate. Y/n was safe in the knowledge she wouldn't be taking anything away from him if they tried, and she was willing to be a distraction in his life for as long as he would let her. It was more than she could have hoped for anyway.
"Ngaytxoa, forgive me, t-that was..." He rambled. "I shouldn't have-"
"Yawne..." Y/n cooed, immediately leaving him at a loss for words. "I know you're scared, but maybe you should let me decide what I can or cannot handle." She said, letting her small hands run down his neck and over the expanse of his chest as she gently pulled away from him to stand up.
Lo'ak gulped. Audibly. His eyes never leaving her once.
Y/n placed both of her hands on his face and leaned in to peck his lips softly.
Lo'ak felt at that moment as if he were floating on thin air. Everything that had been worrying him up until that moment simply ceased to exist. He hesitated, hands hovering at her sides as he wasn't quite sure what to do with them. No one had ever wanted to be this close to him before, and to be completely honest, he was touch starved. His tail, however, had a mind of its own, and it came to wind itself tightly around y/n's ankle, making her pull away slightly and giggle. "Old habits die hard, I see."
He gave her a bashful look and scratched the back of his neck nervously as he willed his tail to free y/n from its vice. "Sorry... I'm not- I'm not really used to this..." She frowned at his words, gently running her hands through his braids. "What do you mean?"
"I'm not exactly... considered to be attractive... by the rest of the clan, I mean..." Lo'ak fumbled awkwardly with his hands. "The only people who ever wanted to get close to me did it as a way to get to my brother, and... I could never bring myself to see them the way I see you anyway..." This came as a shock to y/n. How could nobody else see Lo'ak? He was a true warrior, through and through just like his brother. He could have flown circles around anyone else on his ikran. He had a good heart, one completely devoted to his family and clan.
And even more shockingly...
"But you're so hot!" She blurted out, genuinely confused and immediately regretting her words. The cocky look on Lo'ak face made her understand he was going to take his way out of having a serious conversation by teasing her. Some things never changed.
"Ah, is that so?" Lo'ak goaded her, before striking a pose to show off his biceps. "This doing it for you?" He asked, raising an inquisitive brow at her. Y/n shoved him, barely even making him blink. "You are so stupid." She huffed, leaving the room.
"No, wait, hey!" Lo'ak laughed. "What happened to me being so hot?" He called after her. Lo'ak never thought things between him and y/n would ever have gone back to being so simple, but somehow, at that moment, it felt like they'd never stopped being friends.
He followed y/n, stepping into her room. Lo'ak hadn't been there in a long time, but not much had changed. Y/n was in the middle of dragging two mattresses down to the floor to make a makeshift bed Lo'ak could fit in, and his immediate instinct was to help her. The scene before him stunted him, however. He knew Y/n was no stranger to having Na'vi guests over, but watching her neatly sort out a bunch of pillows and blankets she'd woven into a quilt for him, immediately made him of one thing: nesting.
Lo'ak had to immediately shake that thought out of his head before he seriously embarrassed himself just from having uncovered a new way of seeing y/n in his dreams. He was more than certain that she knew nothing of heat or rut cycles since they were pretty rare and something that his siblings probably hadn't told her about since it was a rather private matter.
"Oh please, just keep standing there looking pretty while I make your bed for the night, jerk face." Y/n teased him when she caught him staring at her. Lo'ak got a running start before jumping into the 'bed', pulling her down on top of him and making the walls of her bedroom shake in the process. "Skxawng! Do you want my entire house to come down on our heads?" She laughed with him, shoving at his chest playfully.
"You called me yawne." Lo'ak said out of the blue as he stared up at y/n, carefully running his fingers through her hair. "Before."
"And you've only just realized? My, I guess it's true what they say about beauty-" Y/n pinched one of Lo'ak's cheeks and he retaliated by giving her a not-so-convincing hiss. "Smart-ass." He name-called her, before softly pinching one of her thighs, making her yelp in surprise.
He snorted at her cute little sound, but y/n had the last laugh when she decided to shut him up with a kiss. Lo'ak was quick to respond this time, and everything felt different. Y/n's body melted against him as she lay across his chest, and his arm were quick to wrap around her: one of them securing itself around her middle while the other reached down to her thigh. Everything about her felt like a dream to him, and his hand roamed her body with nothing except the upmost reverence for her. "You know..." Lo'ak mumbled in between kisses. "I was actually... trying to say something..." He sighed against her mouth when she dragged her teeth across his bottom lip. "Just now..."
"I know..." She smiled against his lips, not really intent on stopping. "It just takes you... so long... to get to the point..." she mused, taking her chance when Lo'ak opened his mouth to protest, and dragged her tongue over his fangs. The Na'vi felt himself go cross-eyed, knowing for sure he was now sporting an obvious erection.
Y/n looked back up at him when she felt his excitement brush up against her, and Lo'ak didn't know what to do. Kissing, he'd just discovered, was more than okay. They could do it, and safely too. But mating was out of the question, it didn't matter how persuasive y/n thought she was, he would die before hurting her like that.
The human girl couldn't help herself, scooching back all the way down Lo'ak's torso until she was finally sitting up in his lap, her thighs straddling him at both sides as she let out a whine of relief at the friction.
Lo'ak's eyes almost bulged out of his head in arousal and alarm, hastily pulling y/n back to where she'd been lying on top of him originally with a grunt of frustration. "Nah, ke-he, we are not doing that." He tried to be firm in his words, but he definitely heard his voice break at least twice in that single sentence.
Y/n knew Lo'ak was only saying it because he was scared for her well-being, and while she wished to someday change his mind, her yawne had just told her 'no' and she was certainly not going to ignore his feelings, nor would she have ever questioned him in this particular scenario. "Okay, yawne, I'm sorry." She spoke to him lovingly and kissed the knuckles of his right hand.
"You called me yawne again." Lo'ak said, those deep feelings of inadequacy hitting him back in full force. What kind of lover even deserved that title if he couldn't even make the person he cared the most about in the world feel good? "And I can't- I can't even-" He couldn't even make love to her.
"Lo'ak, we don't have to go all the way right at this second if you don't want to... " Y/n placed both of her hands on his chest, feeling the beat of his heart as he sat up and looked down at her, not entirely sure what she was talking about. "Honestly, just rutting down against you felt... well, you felt big and-" She got flustered and momentarily forgot what she was supposed to say. Lo'ak looked like he was going to have a heart attack if she was ever to repeat the words 'you' and 'big' in the same sentence ever again.
"W-what I mean is... you can touch me, i-if you want." Y/n removed her top, exposing her top half to him. "And I want to touch you. If that's okay..."
Lo'ak realized then he might have stood a better chance outside with the Thanator.

Lo'ak defending you
Tumblr media
Lo'ak has been dating you for the past few months and your guy's relationship was a bit different, you were human.
Your guy's relationship was public to everyone. everyone knew you were Lo'aks girl and he made sure not to hide his love and affection for you, and visa versa.
Everyone in his family accepted you, except for his mother Neytiri.
She didn't approve of the relationship whatsoever. she felt like her son should be with someone from their tribe, not a human girl.
"Mom she's not like the other sky people, she's different" Lo'ak told his Sa'nok who in response hissed at him
"She is sky person. She is no good for you" Neytiri huffed out as she began gathering up supplies.
Lo'ak rolls his eyes in annoyance because he knows you're a good person and wouldn't do anything to hurt the Na'vi.
"You mated with Sempu and he was a sky person. Hell you even married him"
"That was different" Neytiri says under her breath.
"How is it any different Ma? Y/n and I relationship is just like yours and dad's. I know she's a good person and won't hurt the people like those other sky people did, she fits in more with us then she did with her own kind."
"How will you mate? How will she be with your children? Have you ever thought of that 'itan?"
Lo'ak was quick to answer those questions, he wanted to prove it to his mom that you were the one for him
"She can do what dad did. Shift from her human body and into her Na'vi body. Ma please just trust me. Y/n isn't like those other sky people, she's different."
"People lie Lo'ak"
"Dad lied to you and you still mated with him! how is it any different with her and I? why do you hate her so much?"
Neytiri looks at her younger son and let's out a sigh. She's been hard on Y/n the moment she met her.
She was scared for her son to fall into a trap by the sky people just like she did when she first met her mate Jake.
"You're right, invite her for dinner tonight Lo'ak."
"Really?!" Lo'ak says surprised from his mother's switch in moods.
"I am sure. Now go help your Sempu" She says motioning him to leave the hut.
Later on at dinner Neytiri and y/n had a long talk, both ended up having a lot in common.
"What made your Sa'nok suddenly like me?" Y/n asks him later on that night
"Her and I had a long talk and I defended you. I want to be with you. I love you"
"I love you too Lo"

Tumblr media
Part two to Being The Daughter Of The Winged Sky People And Winking At Neteyam and Lo’ak Hcs
Pairing: Lo’ak x fem!reader, Neteyam x fem!reader (separate)
Warnings: none <3
A/n: Not a massive fan of this one either, but I have written it! Please enjoy! <33333

Neteyam:
Neteyam was overjoyed when he learned that [Name] was going to show him and his siblings around.
The winged girl made up many of the sky people living on the floating islands who had grown wings
Neteyam found it more than impressive
Neteyam found a certain beauty in the wings
Not only the wings, but [Name]
Neteyam could only describe her as glowing as she stood in front of his view of the sun
She smiled at his siblings before lingering on him a little longer
Neteyam could feel his stomach flip and a bright smile adorned his face
Kiri could only elbow him at his obvious reactions, she smirked to herself, shaking her head
Neteyam followed her blindly as she lead them around the small village
the sky people had seemed to have adopted few of the na’vi architecture and based a lot of their functionality off of what they had learned from the neighbouring clans
hammocks strung between branches of large trees
the people of the sky people clan seemed to all sleep in these hammocks the same way the na’vi would
Neteyam watched [Name] point to where they would rest as a family
Neteyam looked at her with absolute awe
she really was the most gorgeous thing he had ever seen
as she went to walk off, letting them get settled, Neteyam stopped her
Neteyam wasn’t sure what he was doing but something called from inside him
so he steeled himself and he committed,
“I’m Neteyam,” He said moving to shake her hand, he knew this to be a sky people custom.
“And I’m [Name],” [Name] smiled, shaking his hand. “But you knew that, what can I help you with?”
Neteyam took a deep breath before saying, “I was wondering if you wanted to hangout sometime?”
[Name] giggled, she looked up at him smiling. “I would love that, Neteyam.”
She looked away for a moment before seemingly changing her mind, turning back to quickly kiss him on the cheek
as she began to run off,
a run that quickly turned into flight,
Neteyam watched her with a love sick smile, his heart racing once again
he had just landed a date
Lo’ak:
Lo’ak always thought of himself of something of a ladies man
despite having no ladies, he sure had the confidence that he could pull any
but the moment [Name] came out of the sky like a seed of Eywa,
his faux confidence was out the window, revealing a more genuine Lo’ak
days after he met her, he was still reeling
he was giddy and waiting in anticipation for the next time he would meet [Name]
just when it seemed unlikely that he would see [Name], is when she would most often show up
she swooped down from a high branch, landing right next to him
Lo’ak almost physically jumped before he tried his best to prepare himself
[Name] looked up to him with a smirk,
“Hey, Lo’ak.” It had been the first time the spoke outside of pleasantries and introductions
and to say that Lo’ak was over the moon to have [Name] approach him was an understatement
Lo’ak took a moment to respond, not believing what was happening
“Hey, [Name]. How can I help you?” Lo’ak tried to act casual, as if he felt at all casual.
“It’s nothing much, just was wondering if you wanted to hang out, or get to know each other?” [Name] spoke at first with confidence, but as she neared the end of her sentence, her confidence wained.
“I want to get to know your family since you are staying and so we should hang out!” She added, seemingly needing to tack the last sentence on as a cushion to fall on.
“We can absolutely hangout, friends or not,” Lo’ak smiled, resting his hand comfortably on [Name]’s shoulder
[Name] only smiled shyly, hiding her face as she nodded softly
she didn’t hang around long after, taking flight almost immediately
Lo’ak wasn’t really sure if he had gotten the date or if she did
either way, he was smiling like an skxawng

Ghost girl | prologue
Tumblr media
Pairing: Sully family x Albino na'vi!fem (for the moment)
Warning: All the characters are aged up 20’s, disaster, injured, death, neytiri being the mom we all need.
Note:I had this draft written, and it was taking dust. So I'm posting it, so you can read it and tell me what you think. You can see that I haven't paired the reader with any of the characters, and I think it's my first writing that the reader is not human. So I would like to know if you like it, and if so, who would you like to be Y/N's partner?
AVATAR MASTERLIST | Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5(final)
Tumblr media
You felt short of breath, the more you ran. A wave of fire was coming towards you. Holding your newborn baby in your arms. Turning to see your village being burned. You had to run, you had to get your baby to safety. The great trees that were once cold, were ablaze with flames. Climbing up a hill, fighting with your feet stuck in the snow. Resting a little, seeing how everyone was gone. The ships of those humans had destroyed everything.
Their ships were moving away, leaving a desert of fire in the snow. You can feel someone touching your chest, bringing you out of your shock. Your baby touches your chest, starting to cry. You hug him tighter, trying to find some consolation. Your family, your people…they were all dead. Two attacks in less than 6 months, just for a piece of land, just for having that damn mineral. Tears welled up in your eyes, you were heartbroken. It was all over…you were alone. You stood for a moment, analyzing the situation. You could still hear the sound of falling trees, the burning snow and the horrible smell of death. You had several wounds on your hands and legs. But they were not as worrying as the open wound on your right thigh.
You had tried to bandage it, before running out of your family's hut, as it burned. But it was barely covered. Groaning in pain, you sit down in the snow. You had to think about what you were going to do, you were alone. You had no home…those demons had taken everything from you. Holding your baby, closer. Kissing his hair. "Easy…easy" you speak. You had to get shelter, and fast. From your chest hung a beautiful green stone that your mother gave you minutes after you lost track of it. She had told you that there was a jungle clan, the Omaticaya. That they could help me, that it was the safest place. Taking the stone in your hand, to now take a look at the opposite side of the landscape.
You were from the clan of the icy mountains, the trip was going to be hard and dangerous. You were not a hunter, or an explorer. You were simply a girl who had lost everything. But you had no choice, rising from the ground. Bowing in respect. "Eywa…take care of my village, my people…take them with you. Promise them that we will meet again. I promise" you make the 'i see you' sign. Taking a last look at what was once your home, and leaving for the unknown.
The jungle was quieter than usual, the wildlife could be heard sounding. That's what neytiri thought as she walked in search of an animal. She had gone out to hunt alone. She had to clear her head, and spend time alone like the old days. Playing and touching some flowers, when out of nowhere he hears a small whimper. Her whole body freezes, raising her ears to listen better. That noise was not coming from an animal. She stayed silent, waiting to hear it again. A few minutes later, she heard the soft whimper again, someone was in danger. She was confused, it could be a human calling for help. Or a wounded na'vi. She didn't want to risk it if it was a human, she only socialized with the humans on the base, far from that nothing. But something told her she had to go see what was going on. Taking a deep breath, she walked slowly to where those whimpers were heard.
Peering carefully through the bushes, her eyes widen. When she sees a na,vi leaning against a tree. But that was not what was impressive, what had caught her attention. It was the color of this woman's skin, you had snow-white skin. Just like your hair, the stripes that adorned your skin were almost a blue that faded into your skin. Neytiri stood watching, she had never seen anything like this in her life. She was in a state of shock, it wasn't until she heard a whimper coming from the girl's arms. Neytiri looked down, seeing how she was holding the baby. But the grip was lazy, watching as the girl tried to move her arm, but it was too weak. Neytiri decided to approach carefully.
Neytiri holds her bow close to her, still being suspicious. Just to get close enough, to make you look up. Neytitiri felt her chest tighten when she could see how young the girl was. According to her she had to be the same age as her children. She let go of her bow, noticing that there was no weapon on any part of your body. But that you were injured, with burns.
You lift your gaze, looking at the woman. She was strange to your eyes, just as she was the first time you had seen a jungle na'vi. Looking down again, you were so exhausted. You had no strength to go on, your thigh wound was serious. And you had barely eaten in two days. You watch as the woman kneels down in front of you. "Who are you?" says neytiri. Trying to sound calm. "I…my name is Y/N te noeä pauzu'itan" you pause to catch your breath. "I am from the clan of the mountains of…cold" you speak, in a low tone. Neytiri moves closer to you, now all had some coherence. Her mother had told her something about these clans.
"What happened…why aren't you in your lands?" neytiri speaks, daring to touch a piece of your hair. Her maternal instinct, not allowing her not to help you. "They…they killed everything…everyone" you speak. "They?" asks neytiri. "The demons" you speak, neytiri hearing this word, tightens her bow. Closing her eyes, in response. Neytiri moves closer, looking at your wounded skin. And notices the large wound on your thigh. "We must heal it…I'll take you to the village" she speaks, watching as you awkwardly raise your arm. "No…I can't" you pick up your baby as best you can. Bringing him closer to neytiri. "Please…take care of my son. I can't" you are on the verge of fainting. "No…I won't leave you here" says Neytiri.
"I will die…I just want him to be okay…take care of him for me" your voice is very low. Neytiri notices how your hands are shaking, taking the baby in her arms. Watching as yours fall to your sides. "Thank you" you speak, smiling weakly. "I'm not going to leave you here" neytiri orders, getting up to think better. She had to plan something…in a matter of minutes neytiri created a sort of bundle, so she could hang the baby on her chest. Coming up to bend his back in front of you, taking your weak arms. Climbing you on her back, holding you tightly. She knew you could barely breathe, how weak you felt. Neytiri knew that if she left you, you would die in a couple of hours.
Starting her way back to the village. She walked as fast as she could, she had a baby crying. While carrying a girl on his back. She could have ignored her, but no…she could not. Getting closer to the village, taking faster steps. "We're close" neytiri says, waving your hand a little, hearing a 'mmm' in response. Good, you were alive. Entering the village, seeing how everyone was shocked by the scene, while neytiri walked fast to the hut where her mo'at mother was working. "Help, mother!!!" neytiri shouts, near the hut. Mo'at comes out quickly. To see how her daughter was carrying, what looked like a dead body. "This one" speaks mo'at.
"No…she's really hurt," says neytiri, watching as her mother begins to help her take the girl in her arms. Mo'at holds you on her arms, rushing to take you inside to treat your wounds. "I found her alone in the forest…she told me that her village was attacked by the sky people" says neytiri, she was scared. She tried to get there as fast as she could. Watching as her mother, began to examine your body. " She is from the clan of the cold mountains," says Mo'at. Mo'at finds the largest wound, and removes the dirty cloth. "I need to clean and treat this wound. I need the help of more people. Tell kiri to come" mo'at orders his daughter. Neytiri runs out of the hut.
She had the little baby on her chest, who had already calmed down, but she could hear some whimpering " calm down, we are taking care of your mother," Neytiri cuddles him, as she arrives to her hut. Kiri was with her sister tuk, talking to her father. They all see how neytiri enters in a hurry, she was agitated and you could see how worried she was. "kiri honey…come!!! Mo'at needs us" says Neytiri, Kiri without thinking about it gets up and accompanies her mother. "baby what's wrong?" shouts jake, from his seat. Noticing how neytiri ignores him and continues on her way to her mother's hut. Upon arriving, neytiri could see how mo'at had already started with everything, placing some medicinal pastes on the girl's skin. Kiri is surprised to see you, she has never seen someone like you before, but she doesn't ask too many questions. She feels her mother handing her something in her arms.
Kiri looks down, and sees a baby. Just like the girl they were healing. "Kiri hold the baby" says neytiri, approaching her mother. "Mom…will she be okay?" asks neytiri, she sees how your breathing is vague. But you are alive. "Yes…she's weak and I have to monitor that wound. But look" mo'at points to the large wound on your thigh. "I already put medicine in it…I need you to go get these herbs. I will make a drink to bring her vitality back" mo'at says, watching as neytiri ascends with her face, getting up to get everything her mother asked for. Mo'at watches as kiri is cooing to the baby, and began to wonder what such a young girl was doing alone with a baby. She could see that the baby was only a month old. Looking carefully at the girl's body, observing how on her neck hangs a green rock. Holding it in her hand, she had seen that rock somewhere.
After a rather agitated afternoon, neytiri was sitting next to her mother. Holding the baby, and kiri was next to the girl. "So what are we going to do with him?" asks Kiri. "I think it will be best if you take care of him…for tonight. She is very weak, I will take care of her" says mo'at, arranging a few pieces of white hair. Neytiri reaches over and caresses the girl's cheek. "Kiri…come let's go to the house" speaks neytiri. Kiri gets up, following her mother. Just as they were about to leave. "Neytiri…later I will come by your hut" says mo'at. Neytiri ascends, and leaves the hut. Looking at the baby in her arms.
Arriving at the hut, she finds to her surprise that everyone in the Sully family was there. Tuk is still small, so she runs to her mother. She hadn't seen her all day, but stops when she notices what her mom is carrying in her arms. "Is that a baby?" the little girl asks. Neytiri smiles, "Yes…and it's very small." neytiri walks over to where jake is. "A baby? where did you get that?" the man is scared and worried. Neytiri sits down next to him, moving the piece of cloth covering the baby a little. Revealing a totally white baby, his eyelashes, hair…everything. This causes everyone in the family to move closer. Including the two youngest men in the family. "That's…what is it?" asks lo'ak. Touching the baby's tiny foot. "I found a girl." Neytiri pauses, telling her family everything that happened. "Those bastards" jake says, the demons were just destroying…he was thinking to himself.
"I'm taking care of him…until she's okay" neytiri says. "but" she pauses…as some tears streamed down her face. "She is so young…I think she is the same age as you" neytiri looks at neteyam. The boy just looks at the baby that his mother holds on her chest. "and she's alone…I couldn't leave her there alone. She offered me her baby…she told me to keep him. Assuming she was going to die." says neytiri. Jake hugs her, and kisses her on the hundred. "You did the right thing my love…you're great. I bet that girl will be grateful" Jake speaks. At that same moment, everyone hears mo'at enter the hut.
"How is she?" asks Neytiri quickly. "She is stable…but she is very sleepy. I was able to give her the drink…she looks better" says mo'at. Kiri puts her hand to her chest, sighing in relief. " Mom…where did that girl come from?" neytiri asks, watching as mo'at sits in the familiar circle.
" The clan of the cold mountains…one of the most ancient clans. Great warriors and hunters. Their white skin, perfect for being invisible in their territory. Prepared to withstand brutal cold. Ghosts in white. They are not like all na'vis. separating in the far reaches of the mountains, to maintain their lineage. They carry a beautiful magic in their being… they are the favorites of eywa." mo'at spoke, watching as everyone listened to her intently. "Your father and I met them… making a pact of peace. They cared for us and we cared for them. But we never had another close call…not until now." Mo'at pulls from his pocket a stone. "This was given as a sign of peace…she had it around her neck. I guess she came for help" there was a silence in the room.
"She told me there was no one left" neytiri holds the baby tightly. Remembering how hundreds of her clan were wiped out, how their home tree was destroyed. And now they had to live in these caves in hiding. "I imagine the worst has happened…but we have to wait for her to tell us everything" mo'at speaks, reaching up to caress the baby's cheek. "Where is her family? Where is her mate?" mo'at asks. Neytiri falls silent, she too had many questions…but for the moment she was going to take care of the two of you. Until she could figure everything out.

When you return back home, you saw your brother, who had some bruises on his face and body. You asked “What happened?” you sat your bag down on the small table. “Your brother made fun of the Sully’s and got a beat” your father said as you looked at your brother disappointedly at him. “Oh Ao’nung” you said as you sat next to him as your mother had served everyone there dinner and sat down to eat.
You all talked about your day along with the process of the Sullys. After dinner, you helped clean up and went to bed with your sister in your shared room. That night you fell asleep, you had dreamed about water with stars in them, you weren’t sure if that was some kind of vision or just another dream but you felt as if it shouldn’t go ignored.
Ronal was holding the human infant in her arms, she had never cared for a human baby, she assumed it would be difficult but surprisingly not. Y/n was just like a regular Na’vi baby but smaller and different features. Ronal couldn’t help but be very protective of the infant, though the baby wasn’t her blood she still felt as if she needed to care for the child.
Tonowari had grown a soft spot for the human baby, he has never seen such a small creature in his life except for his daughter Tsiyera when she was still a baby, now a toddler learning how to talk and walk on her own. Like his mate he thought raising a dreamwalker child would be hard but the baby was just a baby.
Tonowari and Ronal had been teaching both Tsireya and y/n how to swim underwater, they had to teach them at a young age so that they could develop faster later. Ronal was worried that y/n would drown due to how small she was but surprisingly the infant had managed to swim in the water. “You did wonderful Y/n” Ronal praised the human infant lifting her up in the air causing the baby to giggle. Tonowari looked over at his mate seeing her interact with the infant while he has Tsireya on his shoulders. It warmed his heart seeing this.
A bit much later, Ronal had fallen pregnant again, Tsireya was now 4 years old and y/n was 3 years old. While Ronal was teaching Tsireya how to free-dive, Tonowari was teaching you how to hold a spear along with how to use it. He believed that since she was smaller, he would teach her how to be strong. He had let you hold his spear which was heavier then the smaller one that he made for you. “Okay y/n, be focused” the male said to the small child as she continued to held the spear with both hands. The little girl was slightly shaking do to the heaviness of the spear “now, throw it as hard as you can” he said as the girl did what she was told, though the spear didn’t go that far, it felt flat on the sand missing the target which was accouple feet away. “I missed” she said looking up at her father. “That’s fine, that why we’ll practice until you get it.” He said ruffling her hair.
The next morning, you woke up really early to go bathe with your mother and sister. You gathered some things such as your comb, some beads, wooden tin cylinders that contained both shampoo and conditioner, a bar of flower scented soap, another wooden tin that contained seaweed slime and a change of clothes.
Once you were ready to go, you left to the hot spring. The hot spring was surrounded by trees as a form of privacy, this was the women’s hot spring while the one for male’s was a bit further. As you all walked towards the hot spring some women stepped out while others went in.
When in the hot spring you greeted the women were there either bathing, talking or relaxing in the hot water. Some were helping their children bath and others were playing in the hot water. Some girls your age were in a small group talking, they were probably gossiping or talking about boys.
You had stripped from your clothes and stepped in the hot water. You and your sister helped your mother into the hot water, along with carefully getting her to sit. Your sister helped you take your hair down and wash it, she enjoyed washing your hair like you do hers. When she was done with your hair you then turned to her and also wash plus conditioned her long hair.
Then you moved to washing your body with the bar of soap, removing the scent of salt water, you’ll probably smell like sea salt later but you didn’t mind. Once you had removed the soap from your body you heard your mother “y/n come here” she said as she had finished with Tsireya’s hair, she had styled it the same like yesterday. You sat on her lap as she then began to comb your hair out. “How do you want it?” She asked as she began to apply aloe on your hair. “Anything is fine” you said as she began to work on your hair. Her hands were very gentle on your scalp, it felt like when you got your tattoo, at first you were afraid because the tattoo would hurt but she manage to make it feel as if a feather was going across your face.
You sat on her lap for a little bit as Ronal continued with your hair, meanwhile you were playing with the water in front of you, while your sister was now getting dressed. Whenever your mother did your hair you felt like a child again, even though you were of age, you would always be your mother’s baby. “Done” your mother said as you reached up and touched your hair feelings six sets of braids on your head with beads, while the rest of your hair was down reaching your mid back. “Thank you mother” you said turning to smile at her, she smiled at you and kissed your small forehead. She may be harsh and stoic around others but in private, she was a loving mother who wants the best for her children.
Then you stepped out of the hot spring and got dressed, you wore a pale colored top that was made with both thin rope and white pearls, the top was a gift from your mother, she made it herself. As for the bottom you wore a hip scarf that was the same color of your top with shells. When you were done you took a the wooden tin with seaweed slime and began to apply it on your skin, to keep it moisturized, the others didn’t really need it but you did since your skin was different.
Once you were done you and your sister began walking back to the village to find the Sully’s. “So, where were you last night?” Tsireya broke the silence as you looked up at her “oh, I was out...” you said feeling your face go hot then you saw your sister smile at you “are you interested in any one?” She asked the smile growing wider, making you nearly trip “I’m not sure... maybe?” you said shyly as she giggled at your shyness. “Its okay, I am also into a boy” she said making you gasp and turn to her. “Really?! Who is it?!” you wanted to know who it was but she just smiled at you, leaving you to wonder who her crush was.
That morning you had went swimming before meeting with the Sully’s, you swan where you normally swan. Seeing that the fish had woken up and went on to swim around, it made you happy seeing the schools of fish swimming around you, sometimes even swimming through your fingers or hair. Once you swam up to the surface to catch your breath, you saw your sister, brother, Rotxo, Lo’ak, Kiri, Tuk and lastly Neteyam. You smiled and greeted them “Good morning, how was your sleep?” you asked
“It was alright, thought Lo’ak snored all night” Kiri complained causing her brother to whine “No I didn’t that was Neyetam” he defended himself, which made your sister giggle at him. You noticed how when Tsireya would look at Lo’ak her eyes dilated, she also smiled more than usual, this caught your attention.
The small group of teens and child swan around the reef, Tsireya had been showing them places which contained beautiful plants along with other kind of fish to see. Mean while, Neyetam stayed close to you. Sometimes he’d need ‘help’ moving around by grabbing your small hand and let you guide him around. The evening was fun, no one was fighting, everyone was getting along. It made you smile, seeing that everyone was laughing and having fun with one another.
After that evening, Kiri and Tuk went home, Ao’nung and Rotxo went to find their other friends, Tsireya and Lo’ak went on their own way, suspiciously together. Leaving you and Neteyam. You were both sitting on the beach, watching the other villagers doing their daily tasks.
You then began to have a conversation about the things you liked such as food, weapon of choice and other stuff. You noticed how the forest na’vi paid close attention to you talk while you did the same. He told you about his adventures in his old home, he seemed to really miss his home. You wanted to be in his place, you wanted to know how he felt due to being in a place that wasn’t his original home.
Neteyam had all his attention on you, he looked at every small detail of yours. How you had a small scar on your lip along little ones on your hands, they must of been your hunts or fishing. He also noticed how you were a bit muscular. What caught his attention more was how when the sun reflected on you, you glowed like those fishes under water, beautiful. He had to contain himself when asking other questions, he didn’t want to offend you with a question he had been thinking since the day he saw you.
“Could I ask a question?” Neteyam asked shyly as you nodded, looking into his eyes. “Do you ever feel out of place? Since you’re different than the rest?” He ask. You nodded “yeah, in a way... I always wondered why I didn’t have the same skin like everyone, or tail, same with eyes and height. I would ask mother and father about it, but they’ve told me that Eywa has put me in their path for a reason.”
You answered honestly, your parents were fully honest with you. It was obvious that you were not their flesh and blood, but they love you as if you were. “My mother may not have given birth to me but she is still my mother, she was the one that raised me along with father, he took care and protected me like father does to a child.” You said as Neteyam listened closely, he did not want to miss any details. “Do you ever wonder who your parents are?” he asked as you then responded “sometimes, but I know that they had made the right choice in leaving me in good hands, I have two wonderful parents and siblings, another one coming on its way” you said happily, you loved talking about your family since you loved them dearly.
Neteyam couldn’t help but smile, he had already fallen in love with that lovely smile of yours. For a moment locked eyes with him again, those wide beautiful yellow orbs reminded you of the sun, you had noticed how he looked a lot like his mother, from his eyes, nose, fangs and hair, he was a carbon copy of her. But he also had his father’s features. That was the thing that you dearly wished to have, to look like both your parents like your siblings.
Tsireya looked a lot like father, but more gentle and feminine while Ao’nung looked like a carbon copy of your mother but masculine, but yet, they also had other features from both parents.
Just like yesterday, at night you both went for a swim, you worried he’d get in trouble but he told you not to worry. You both swam and played in the water for a what felt like a while. You both were playing a game of hide and seek under water. Neteyam had a heard time finding you since you were small and could fit anywhere. You’d normally jump out and surprise him causing to laugh. You had also noticed how his little spots on his face would glow, like stars in the water, he looked so heavenly under the water.
Afterwards he walked you home, as you walked towards your mauri, you both were joking each other quietly, not wanting to disturb the now sleeping villagers. Once you arrived you stopped to thank him. “I guess I’ll see you tomorrow” you said shyly, staring at him. Neteyam nodded smiling, finding your shyness adorable “yeah, have a good night” he said as he gave you one final smile and began to walk away. You watched him walk away, you continued to watch him until he was gone. You felt fish swimming in your stomach, he was the one, you just knew he was the one. That night when you laid in bed, you practically begged Eywa to destine you and Neyetam on being mates.

When I was little and when my other siblings weren’t home and it was just me and my mom we would press our feet together to make this kind of border and just roll dice and whoever got the most points would win while we would eat a cup of animal crackers with milk, just having fun together and relax at home. Do you think you can do something with this for a Neytiri x daughter reader? 💞💞💞
Honestly that is such a cute memory to recall. Hopefully this brings you happy memories of your mom! Enjoy!

Uvan
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Ok we are heading out tiri” Jake calls to his mate as he and his sons go out to join the hunting party. Saying their goodbye they leave. Not long after them, Kiri and tuk left to join their grandmother to assist her. That leaves Neytiri and her daughter, Uvan, alone in their home.
“What shall we do today ma’ite?” Neytiri asks her daughter as she plays with her hair. Uvan, basking in her mother’s attention, had an idea.
“”Battle of the jerky!” uvan cheers excitedly. Neytiri agrees and both collect the needed items for their little game.
The game in question is simple, they press their feet against each other with a rope under them to act as a boarder. With a little shiny rock gifted by norm, they determine who wins by the numbers on the rock. Person with the most points win jake’s greatest masterpiece. Yerik meat jerky.
Yerik meat is delicious and can be cooked in many ways. But jerky meat is a specialty jake created and now its a treat glorified in the sully family. It's not often he can make it, which is why it is a highly prized treat.
Tumblr media
“Ma’ite, you are not playing fair” neytiri says in between her giggles. Her sweet child just lays there smiling innocently.
“I have no idea what you mean sa’nok” uvan replies. But she knows what she is doing. Taking advantage of her smaller feet, she can wiggle her toes to tickle neytiri’s feet, making her having fits of giggles.
Seeing as it was her turn, uvan rolls the shiny rock, taking a good look at what side it will land. “Aaaaaaaaand 5! Yes! Two more turns and I will reach 10!” ovan cheers. Perhaps a bit too early.
Neytiri smirks at her daughter, “are you certain?” she asks. Taking her turn at rolling the rock, the mother smiles.
“9”
“Awwwwwwww” uvan pouted. Slighting glaring at her mother who takes three pieces of jerky into her mouth, “yum”.
“Another round! I shall have my jerky!”
Tumblr media
Time meant nothing between uvan and neytiri. All day they remained on the matted floor playing their little game. Scores meant nothing now, if anything it just made the game seem more fun. But it had to come to an end when their family returned from their own activities for the day.
“Woa, what is going on? Battle of the feets?” Jake asks as he enters the home with his sons and daughters.
Uvan laughs it off as she pushes her mothers feet away.
“Even better! Its the battle for the jerky! Na’vi with the most points gets all the jerky!” she replies as she points to the shiny rock.
“Who’s winning?” tuk asks, wanting to join in.
Uvan makes a frowning look, pointing at her mother. “Sa’nok” she said plainly, neytiri just smiling innocently. “Which is not fair! You are bigger and stronger mama!” Uvan complains. Neytiri chuckles, “keep trying ma’ite” she coos.
Lo’ak bends down behind uvan grinning like a little gremlin. “You are going to let mom win? Dont you want that good meat?” he teases. Uvan looks back at him and back at her mom. “No?” she said more like in the form of a question.
Shaking her shoulders, lo’ak adds more encouragement, “then add more force!! Dont let her win!”.
Tuk joins in by adding her words of encouragement, uvan tries again. Add more force into her feet, trying to push her mother on her side of the rope border. Neytiri seeing this, seeing uvan have more focus on her face, she presses more force with ease.
“UVAN! UVAN UVAN UVAN!!” her siblings cheer.
“Come…..on!!” Using all her might, she pushed forward only to slip and lose grip. Both neytiri and uvan’s legs sliding on each side.
“Did she win??” tuk asks.
“Iets consider this a tie” jake announces. “Besides, I hunted a good yerik today, there will be plenty of that jerky you guys are addicted to.”
Tumblr media
The fire cackles and little sparks fly. The stripes of yerik meat haging to try in a slow process. Everyone circles around it, allured by its blazing light. Neytiri sits beside uvan, giving her the last pieces of yerik jerky.
“I'm proud of you uvan” she says as she gives daughter a kiss on her cheek.
Uvan look up at her, “it was only a game mama”.
Stroking her hair, neytiri places her cheek on her head, “yes but you did not give up. Showing determination and fierce strength. Your brothers and sisters cheering for you. I am happy you gather strength from that”
Uvan snuggles more as she enjoys her treat.
“Oh, I almost forgot, here”
Neytiri hands uvan a bowl of…
“Yovo juice! YES!!”
It was a perfect way to end an eventful day.
Tumblr media
It was short but sweet! Hope you all liked this one! Until next time! see ya!
