masterlist
Dear tĂŹyawn,
Youâre sound asleep right now. Do you know how sweet you are when you rest? Your eyes gently closed, small tanhĂŹ adorning your nose and cheeks; I connect them with my fingertip, or sweet kalin kisses from my lips, like they are stars in the sky.
There are moments like this, when I cannot look away from your yuey, that make me want to scream to the Great Mother. My last wish would be to wake you, however, so I quietly write these words down instead.
Iâve known you my whole life. We were raised together, we trained together, and now, I hold you in my arms during the night. I am not a tsamsiyu like my brother or father. No matter how hard I try, I will never be them, but you have always accepted me the same. When I have been surrounded by nothing but darkness, you have been my atan to guide me.
When I am oare, you are tsawke. You are the true tsamsiyu. You have fought my battles for me. Oeyä tstew yawntu, the Great Mother has gifted me you as my purpose. I am devoted to you, forever.
There is not enough in this world that I can give to you in return for your love. I pray and thank Eywa every morning and night for your existence, and it still does not amount to the love I hold for you in my heart.
Ma tĂŹyawn, let me have you for the rest of our lives. Let me be your reason for life. I promised you, several years ago, when we laid under Vitraya Ramunong, that I would never hurt you. I swear to you, if I ever put you in harm, you may drive your blade through my heart for my given purpose would be broken.
I will not be here when you wake. I will be off with my brother and father in the early morning. I hope that you find this as soon as your eyes open, so that when I return, you will truly see me for I see you, oeyä txeâlan.

neglected sully (5)
Sully reader x metkayaina + sully family, tonowari family, and others
Now that the past has come back into your life everyone and everything had changed greatly, for you and the family you had built here. There had been some good things that came from seeing your loved ones again, but you need feel uneasy about seeing Jake and neytiri again along with the rest of your clan. It had been many years since you had been casted out from your clan and fled from your home, and now ones who casted you out have asked for help that had been given. How long can everything stay so clam until it blows over and soon there not stopping it.
y/n " ......" it had become the second day of the arrivals of your family and old clan, the first was very good for you as you seem to keep some distance from you and everyone else that hurt you in the past.
Kawwney " what the matter my love and don't tell me nothing, I know you so well" kawwey was cleaning his spare when he had noticed something was the matter with her.
y/n " I wish for someone who are very close to me and that I care, about to meet the triplets"
kawwney " so you mean your siblings, grandmother, and your human friends"
y/n " yes"
'kawwney " then yes we can make that happen it will be good after all"
y/n " are you serious my love" you soon looked and kawwney and grabbed his hand, getting his whole attention as she looked at you and smiled.
kawwney " yes my love it will be good for them to meet the triplets and we should tell them about us, as well if we are going to show them our whole family"
y/n " I love that idea"
Kawwney " I know you would"
???? " baba mama" you and kawwney soon turn around to see the triplet out from their beds.
kawwney " well it looks like they have official leaned how to climd out of their beds"
y/n " yes they have"
kawwney " come here little ones" kawwney had allowed the kids to come close to their parents, you soon laugh as the kids started interacting with their father.
kawwney " hey kids will you love to meet more family members"
kids " yes"
kawwney " well I think you have an answer ma y/n"
y/n " well that good to know" "the kids smiled towards you making you laugh back as they are so cute. The family had some breakfast together until the kids, had been handed over to some care taker for the day as the parents had to go off to lessons.
To the siblings and spider
Tsireya " oh yes y/n will be doing us for the lessons today with her being your sister"
kiri " hey there she is hey y/n ... wait and she with kawwney" the group soon saw you and kawwney walking together and talking. Kawwwny seem to say something to you that made you blush bright red and soon smack his shoulder as he laughed.
neteyam â she is very happy with himâ deep down your siblings and spider are happy, to see you with kawwney.
Aoânung â yes and our brother is happy with her as wellâ
loak â hey tsireya who helped you with the necklace you are wearingâ
tisreya â oh your sister y/n she made it for me for my birthday last year, it so special to me and she has amazing taste as wellâ
loak â it looks beautiful on you my sister knew what she was doing when, she made it for youâ
Tsireya â thank youâ
Rotox â well it seems like our brother is going off with father along with Jake and Tsuâteyâ the kids soon looked as kawwney had joined the group of older males, but you were not with them anymore.
Tuk â hey where is y/nâ
y/n â here little sisterâ
everyone â y/nâ you had smiled at the group as your siblings had hugged you.
y/n â hey everyone so are we ready for our lessonsâ the kids and nodded their heads and soon enough the lessons had started. After some time the group had decided to get out of the water, that when they ran into some Navi and an avatar they knew.
ronal â hello everyoneâ
tsireya â hello mother we have stopped with our swimming lessons for the day, and came to work on the breathing and sign languageâ
ronal â that wonderfulâ
Neytiri â kids there you are how are the lessons goingâ
neteyam â well motherâ
ronal â your father and brother have taken Jake and tsutey on hunting tripâ
loak â they went hunting that sounds like fun I wish we could of goneâ
neytiri â you should of gone my sonâ
spider â it will be cool to hunt with a crossbow or spearâ
norm â Iâm worried enough about your father I donât need to worry sick about you out hereâ
ronal â it was best for them just to go as they are older these young male, can go later on with the young females if they wishâ
Rotox â yes that will be good and we need to work on our huntingâ
loak â hey why donât you three have tattoos like your brotherâ
Aoânung â we are not old enough one and havenât done all the challenges yetâ
moat â what of you my granddaughter neteyam is seen a young member of clan as he a warrior, so what of youâ
y/n â well im a member of the clan but have no tattoos yetâ
ronal â you can still get them if you wish it the clan way of lifeâ
Neytiri â it our her family and her clan way of lifeâ
ronal â those word coming from you make me laughâ
y/n â we can discuss this later or remember I have the final decision at the end of dayâ
ronal â yes you are rightâ
neytiri â neteyam, Kiri, and loak I hope you took our family conversation to heart last nightâ
moat â oh my daughter leave them alone they can pick a mate when get wish to, there no need to rush themâ
Neytiri â it will be good for them to have a mate with them and help our family grow, then maybe have their own childrenâ
loak â well that hard to make that happen when you never let us make our own decision, and try to pick our matesâ
neytiri â we are letting you all choice in hopes our home will grow and family as well, when you bring your mates in our circleâ
spider â dadâ
norm â you donât need to rush my son take your timeâ
neytiri â that very human of you norm even due you and your son look like us, you still donât act like usâ neytiri soon walked off upset about the whole situation leaving everyone else there standing.
tsireya " don't let her words get to any of you even I and my brothers haven't found the one yet"
Ronal " yes my daughter you will fine the one in due time"
lo'ak " thank you"
neteyam " speaking of the one what is going on between you and kawweny and sone lie we know, there something between you and him" the four reef navi had looked at neteyam as she spoke his words towards them.
mo'at " yes we have noticed that as well"
norm " yes it has become talk among the humans"
rotxo " I don't think is a good time after ..."
y/n " rotxo is okay you know what you all come to my home tonight with and no need to be worried about getting lost"
aonung " yes we can help you all get there"
lo'ak " wait we get to go to your home and see everything"
y/n " yes you can come over and I will make you all a dinner from foods from the forest and here"
spider " I miss your cooking so yes I'm in"
norm " we will love to and there some stuff I wish to bring you as well"

ronal " you don't have to worry about them"
mo'at " yes I will deal with them as I out rank them all"
kiri " thank you grandmother"
lo'ak " I don't think we will be able to get them to allow us to come, with out one of them coming"
y/n " that sounds like them"
lo'ak " we will make sure they don't find out until you are ready to tell them"
y/n " thank you all"
ronal " now come all of you I will help you learn some of ways of the clan, when it comes some everyday life skills here" the group had soon followed the ronal as she showed them, some of clan ways of living and it all went well. the other had learned there is soft side to ronal once you get to know her better, and she seem to like your siblings and spider right away.
later that night
kawwney " this set looks amazing ma y/n you have done well"
y/n " thank you and I offer you a big thanks as well for help, me get everything ready and caught this big fish"
kawwney " you are welcome we have enough bowls and plates right"

norm " can spider and lo'ak place this truck down if that fine"
kawwney " yes there some space over there I had cleared up"
norm " thank you" spider and lo'al had place the truck down it. lo'ak soon saw kawwney and made his way towards him.
lo'ak " hey kawwney it good to see you again"
kawwney " it good to see you as well your sister has told me so much about you all
neteyam " oh that amazing we have heard little about you"
lo'ak " yeah so what your relationship with our sister buddy" kawwney soon smiled at them and soon looked at you, he soon kissed your forehead.
kawwney " those that answer your questions"
y/n " kawwney there was a plan"
kawwney " what I can't help myself ma y/n"
everyone " ma y/n"
y/n " well it about time I tell you all kawweny is my mate and make me very happy, and I really love him and I hope you all can accept him"
neteyam " that amazing sister wow you are the first one to have an mate"
y/n " yes but I know you all will find love and maybe even here like I have"
kiri " the great mother has blessed you sister and we are all happy for you"
tuk " yes we are"
norm " you found a good one y/n"
lo'ak " yeah I'm happy for you"
spider " same here and we thought we will need to fight you, but we might lost" kawweny " I will let you all win for y/n sake"
mo'at " kawwney" everyone soon stopped talking when they saw mo'at walking towards kawwney, even he seem worried about the whole situation.
mo'at " I happy my granddaughter found love after all that had happened, and I know you are good for her and I have heard good stuff about you from your family and clan"
kawwney " thank you"
mo'at " eywa has blessed you both and will forever bless you as well as the future of this clan"
ronal " yes she will"
mo'at " I wil love you to have this crystal kawwney to symbolize this day and also show you are one of us"
kawwney " thank you I will be honored"
lo'ak " wow this dad has gotten good after all we have in law now"
kawweny " yes and I will love to have some time to bond with you all"
neteyam " we will love that"
tuk " oh hello" tuk was looking behind you and saw aylea looking at the group, soon two others had shown themselves as well.
lo'ak " who are they"
y/n " these are my kids my sons and daughter" the boys had come out right away to greet everyone while, ayela had stand put.
kawweny " I will get here"
neteyam " you have kids"
y/n " yes these are my sons kaewia and Roili and that is ayea"
kaewia " hello"
spider " hey there buddy"
lo'ak " they are so cute"
roili " hi"
neteyam " hello little guy I'm your uncle neteyam" the boys seem to laugh about the whole thing. Neteyam had picked up roili making the boy smile while lo'ak held kaewia"
neteyam " this is your uncle lo'ak, uncle spider, and your aunt kiri and aunt tuk along with your great grandmother moat and this norm"
mo'at " they are like their father as your daughter is like you"
ronal " that sis true"
kiri " can we be their family"
y/n " yes you can but I will need you all to keep this from ..."
lo'ak " from mom and dad sure after how they treated you it will be for the best"
kiri " hey aeya"
aeya " h... hello"
tonowari " now hand me over my grandchild son"
kawweny " no"
tonowari " as your father and oloeytahn I order you"
kawwney " I share the rank with you so overruled"
mo'at " well I over run you both so I will hold her for now" everyone laugh the kids seem to love having their new family members. The dinner had gone well as there had been promised and rules made, norm had helped explain the stuff he brought and if anything bad happens with your or the kids call for him and the others. It made you happy to see your family getting along well and growing as well. The night had ended well and you had gone to bed happy, knowing that you have overcome one challenge and there were many left but you are not alone.

Sneak peek: Tiflrr
Like an Atokirina, Tiflrr gracefully appeared to Etuwa on the darkest day of her life. After the sudden death of her mother, Etuwa lost sight of her path, she was silent, introverted, and just as depressed as her father. Not even the bright and dramatic Nefika was able to lift her spirits. Etuwa was drained of her color, her ambitions, her light. But like all bad storms, a sun is sure to brighten after the chaos.Â
And the sun was Tiflrr.Â
Tiflrr is an amazing aranahe naâvi. Artistic, compassionate, and a visionary. You could say she is the softer, more quiet version of nefika.Â
Tiflrr was everything Etuwa searched for. Her light, her laugh, everything. Etuwa was rough and ambitious while Tiflrr was more soft and passionate. It made Eutwa happy how well they balance each other. Though Etuwa wishes they could perhaps be more than mere friends.

Bonds Beyond Words: If Eywa Wills It
PART ONE -- PART TWO -- PART THREE
Pairing: Aged-Up!Neteyam x Fem!Human!Reader
Word Count: 5k
Tags: dark themes, but this chapter is actually very fluffy and silly, Lo'ak and Kiri and Spider becoming reader's besties, many attempts at comedy, eventual NSFW, aged-up! Neteyam (and Lo'ak, Spider, and Kiri), reader has PTSD, Neteyam dislikes humans (except for you), eventual jealous/possessive Neteyam, future Olo'eyktan! Neteyam, enemies-to-lovers, interspecies slow burn, angst, fluff, probably OOC, POVâs all over the place, forgive the inconsistencies.Â
Summary: You're not allowed to join the community until Jake Sully decides you're ready. Spider, Lo'ak, and Kiri teach you Na'vi.
A/N and Disclaimer: I tried my best to use some Navi language translators and the LearnNavi website to write this chapter, but there are bound to be language errors. I also know time works differently there. Sorry for all the inconsistencies!
This story contains explicit content and is only appropriate for audiences 18+. MDNI. Please do not repost my work.Â
The science shack isnât so bad.Â
Your initiation begins after your first sleep that night. The next morning, Max and Norm put their research projects on hold to give you an actual, legitimate tour of the facility. The place is full of bells and whistles. Tiny buttons, translucent screens, and telecommunications. Technology is abundant; but your knowledge of how to use it is not.Â
âHere is the airlock control panel,â Max explains. He hovers his palm over a sensorâwhen it flashes sage green, the user interface appears. âOnce youâre ready to interact with the community, weâll scan your handprints and give you full clearance,â he futhers.Â
Youâre helplessly eager. âDo you know when that will be?â you inquire.Â
Max presses the controller in the center of the panel. The glass door to the inner chamber slides open. You peek your head inside the airlock spaceâthere are respirator masks for both humans and Naâvi, as well as a broom in the corner.Â
âI put that there,â Max says, referring to the broom. Heâs stealthily ignoring your previous question. âTold Spider he needs to sweep after himself. He refuses to use the doormat outside. I think the only person whoâs touched that broom has been me.â
You look at the ground. The floor of the airlock space isnât as bad as youâd expect it to be. Admittedly, itâs filthy. There are mud stains of both human and Naâvi footprints on the vinyl floor. The size difference is jarring.Â
You have an idea. You smirk to yourself. âWhat if I cleaned this mess for him?â you offer. âIâll sweep, then mop. I need to start pulling my weight, too.â
Max sighs. âWhat? So you can put on one of those masks and sneak out before the Olo'eyktan says youâre ready?â
Your expression sours. âYou didnât have to say it like that,â you reply. âI wasnât going to sneak out,â you admit aloud. âI was going to accidentally open the front door or something with a mask conveniently in place. Itâs not as deceitful that way.âÂ
Max sighs again. âWell, I have no say in when youâre ready,â he confesses. âThat decision is only Jakeâs to make.â
You have no choice but to yield. Max taps the censor again. The airlock door falls shut into place.Â
---
It takes an entire day to simply show you how everything works. It takes two more for you to demonstrate you were paying attention and know how to use everything. The only intuitive mechanisms are the knobs to the showers and the dials on the washer and dryer.
Like in any society, the science shack has its own set of rules, regulations, and normsâquite literally, since Norm transfers between his human body and Avatar frequently. The showers are closed once every twenty-five days for necessary maintenance. Humans arenât to leave when the Naâvi are sleeping or on significant Omatikaya holidays. Donât talk to Max before heâs had his first coffee. Spider is supposed to sweep after himself in the airlock room. You canât use Miaâs handleless mug, but youâre allowed to wash it if youâre extra careful.Â
By the end of the week, your head hurts.Â
You know the only way to become proficient in something, like speaking a new language or utilizing advanced technology, is to thrust yourself into it. Take the plungeâdonât fear it. Embrace the nosedive. Freefall.Â
So, after dinner on your seventh day, you get as close to doing that as possible. You sit on a small perch by a tiny window, nestled in a corner of the science shack. Youâre hungry; for one, Normâs cooking tastes much worse when youâre not famished, so you couldnât force yourself to go back for seconds, let alone finish everything on your plate.Â
But also, youâre hungry for something else. Now that youâre safe from the RDA, you can actually consider doing what you came to Pandora to do all along. You can practically taste it.
You know Jake Sully is right. Life in the science shack is complicated enough, and you need adequate time to acclimate. But youâre starting to feel like youâre trapped. Â
The window allows you to see a slice of life at High Camp. You come here around the same time after a meal, just like clockwork. You havenât seen Jake Sully since your conversation, but youâve seen many others.Â
Just right now, you see a group of young women shuffle past, laughing and gossiping about who knows what. You see two kids, presumably siblings, one chasing after the other, before theyâre stopped by one of the villageâs elders. You see injured warriors limp towards the tsahĂŹkâs tent. You see a woman in her homestead, weaving a basket. You feel nothing but sonder; the profound sensibility that these people are all living complex lives of their own, and youâre simply witnessing these complexities unfold right before your eyes.Â
You begin to recognize a few faces, like that of the shaman healer, otherwise known as the tsahĂŹk. You also take note of which warriors visit her tent most frequently.Â
You routinely see a Naâvi female with short, straight jet-black hair. She tends to pass by the science shack every evening of every day, stare at the door, frown, then leave. On two occasions, your eyes met before she wandered off.Â
Youâve learned a few more common phrases, which Norm, Max, Spider and Mia teach you at meal times. KaltxĂŹ is a standard greeting. Rutxe means please, and irayo means thank you. Ngafkeyk pefya? means âhow are you?âÂ
You also learned that the lines you recited to the Naâvi in the forest, Neteyam, were of a standard dialect. They werenât incorrect, just slightly different from that of the Omatikayaâs. And, allegedly, your pronunciation was off.Â
In your extensive travels on Earth, you learned quickest when you immersed yourself in a new, unfamiliar environment. It was the rushâthe thrill, the trepidationâthat drove you to adapt. It was as just as you told Jake Sully: so I will.Â
Immersion is the only way. Norm knows this too; as an exceptional xenolinguist, he learned more from interacting with the Naâvi for a few weeks than he did from reading any book. He really understands. He wishes he had more time to help with your studies, but he must return to his work. His newest botany project is time sensitive.Â
As you sit by the window, you use an electronic tablet programmed with a basic flashcard feature to get yourself acquainted with the Naâvi language. Itâs not particularly helpful, since spoken practice is more beneficial than anything written. Youâve been skimming some of Jakeâs old journals, too. But at the time of their conception, he wrote only in English, and misspelled many Naâvi words and phrases.Â
The flashcards do nothing besides test your aptitude for memorization. It doesnât help that your attention span is elsewhere, like you left it on a far, distant planet.
Everytime someone passes by the window in your peripheral vision, you have no choice but to look up and see whoâs there. Itâs usually another Naâvi face youâve never seen before. You donât realize it initially, but the more you turn your head, youâre helplessly aware that youâre looking for someone. It never is, but youâre hopeful it might be Neteyamâyou still owe him for saving your life. You have an inkling however, that heâs probably avoiding this place for one reason or another. That very reason might just be yourself.Â
Itâs obvious that this method of study is inefficient. You power off the tablet and continue people-watching with your knees tucked against your chest.Â
Any moment now, you know youâll see that girl with shoulder-length hair. You want to know why she frowns, but you donât know how to ask âwhatâs upsetting you?â in Naâvi.Â
Now that you think about it, though, youâre unsure if thatâs a wise idea. Even when you are allowed into the community, you know that you will have to keep a distance. Know your place. Although the humans and Naâvi residing here coexist in apparent harmony, you donât want your presence to disrupt the peace.Â
Thereâs a quiet knock on the other side of the airlock door across the main roomâitâs so faint you almost miss it.Â
When you sit up, you hear footsteps thudding against the vinyl flooring. You see Spider look around then over his shoulder as he approaches the door.Â
He begrudgingly places his hand over the scanner. He presses a button and the front of the airlock opens.Â
He quietly shouts something in Naâviâskxawng. Youâre not sure what this word means yet.
From your window perch, you canât see whatâs going on, but Kiri and Loâak enter the space through the main door. They each grab a respirator.Â
Spider continues to say things you donât understand. From his tone of voice, he seems slightly agitated.Â
âYou canât be here,â Spider says to both of them in Naâvi. âNot until the new girl gets introduced to the community.â
Loâak takes a deep breathâthe respirator in his hand looks so small. Heâs almost as tall as his father now. As the years pass, Loâak just gets bigger and bigger. It makes him feel like Spider is shrinking.Â
âCâmon man,â Loâak says. âLet us in. Weâll only take a minute,â he adds, wearing a devious smirk on his face. âI uh, forgot something when I was here last?â he tries.Â
âYeah, right,â Spider replies.Â
âLoâak, youâre not helping my case,â Kiri says, glaring at her older brother.Â
Loâakâs jaw drops. He scoffs at her. âYou told me to come with you!â
âYes, and it turns out youâre not helping!â Kiri hisses.Â
Spider groans. âCan you two just leave? I donât want to get any flak for this.â
Kiri grits her teeth. She places both of her hands on the glass separating them. âPlease, Spider. I havenât seen Mom in forever,â she says. Her eyes water. âIt hasnât been this long since the time we lived in Awa'atlu⌠I miss her.â
The crease between Spiderâs brows disappears. From what you can see, he looks apologetic. âOeru txoa livu,â he says to Kiri. âBut Iâm not supposed to let anyone in besides your dad.â
Loâakâs expression falters. He looks at his feet. His ears fall flat. âYou know, I havenât seen Tsireya since we left Awa'atlu,â he says just loud enough for Spider and Kiri to hear.
Spider rubs his nose bridge. Kiri sighs and flicks his temple with her fingers. Once Loâak starts talking about Tsireya, he canât stop.Â
While this interaction continues to transpire, you stand from your perch and tiptoe over. Your footsteps are padded by thick, cotton socks. You advance slowly, like youâre approaching a crime scene covered with caution tape.Â
âLoâak, go home and go to bed,â Kiri says, poking his chest. She then spins back around. âSpider, let me in, please.â
âIâm sorry, Kiri,â Spider replies. âYou know I would if I could.âÂ
Kiri places her hands on her hips. âYou can, very easily, actually. Just press the button,â Kiri says. She points to the spot where she knows it is on the other side of the door. âItâs right there.â
Spider sighs. The crease in his brow returns when he realizes Loâak is suddenly smiling. âWhy are you doing that?â Â
Loâak waves to you from the other side of the airlock. âHi!â He greets you in English. âWhatâs your name?â
Spider jolts when he realizes youâre standing there right behind him.
Kiri gasps. Her eyes go wideâthey practically sparkle when sheâs excited. âI told you, I saw her!â she says to Loâak in Naâvi.Â
You smile at the male and female Naâvi before you. They seem so friendly, and the male Naâviâs English sounds great. âHello there,â you reply. You formally introduce yourself.Â
Spider presses a palm to his temple. He knows heâs going to get in trouble.Â
âItâs nice to meet you!â the female Naâvi says, also in English. âIâm called Kiri. And this is my older brother, Loâak.â
Thatâs his cueâLoâak waves again, flashing his vibrant smile.Â
Spider scoffs.Â
âMy good brother here, Spider,â says Loâak, âthis skxawng,â he adds, more quietly, âwas about to let us inside.âÂ
âI was not,â Spider protests.Â
âCâmon,â you say. Spider rolls his eyesâyouâve just met Loâak but heâs already infected you with whatever ailment he has that makes him the way that he is. At the same time, however, Spider knows itâs one of the best things about him.Â
âWhy canât we let them in?â you ask. This is the most exciting thing thatâs happened to you in five days.Â
âExactly,â says Loâak. âLet us in,â he chants quietly.Â
âThe door isnât broken, is it?â you further, keeping a serious demeanor. âIâll just check to make sure it works,â you tell Spider.Â
âWaitââ
The airlockâs inner chamber door opens, allowing Loâak and Kiri entry.Â
âWould you look at that,â you profess. âI know how the door works.âÂ
Loâak chuckles as he strolls inside like he owns the place. Kiri rushes past the three of you, making a beeline for the large container in the middle of the main room. She presses her palms against the glass and whispers to the Avatar stuck inside. Your brows furrow in confusion.Â
âYou were right,â Loâak mutters to Spider in English. âShe is short, even for a human.â
Your jaw goes slack. A surprised chuckle falls from your lips. âIf you call Spider skxawng, then what are you?â you canât help but retort.Â
He grins. âIf there was a clan of a hundred skxawngâs,â Loâak says, âthey would have no choice but to make me their leader.â
You laugh againâharder than you were expecting to. This Naâvi might be an ass, but at least heâs got a sense of humor.Â
Spider groans again. âIf you two knuckleheads stay, you have to keep it down,â he says.
Loâak puts his hands up, defensively.Â
âCan I ask what sheâs doing over there?â you say aloud.Â
Kiri now has her face pressed against the glass. It fogs from her breath.Â
Spider and Loâak look at each other. Loâak rubs the back of his neck before speaking: âitâs a long story, but thatâs the Avatar of Kiriâs biological mother. Kiri is my adoptive sister.â Loâak then hums to himself. âMaybe itâs not such a long story, after all.âÂ
Thatâs why she looked so sad. She simply missed her Mom.Â
You blink once. âOh, alright.â You nod, looking at Spider. âAll of that information about Miaâs coffee mug was really important, but this,â you say, gesturing to the tube in the center of the room. âNot so much.â
Spider shrugs. âItâs important,â he says. âBut, this is just commonplace for all of us.â
âSheâs been doing this since we were kids,â Loâak reaffirms.Â
âMaybe weâre blind to it,â Spider offers. âItâs always there, so we canât even see it if itâs right in front of us.âÂ
Loâak simpers. âWell said.âÂ
âThank you,â says Spider. He grins. Â
They nod together and rub their chins like idiots. You assume this must be a regular thing for them.Â
âSkxawngs,â you say.Â
Of course, they both look your way, as though youâve called them by their birth name.Â
âDid I use that properly?â you ask in English.Â
They nod. You sigh woefully.
Loâak practically snatches such low-hanging fruit: âWhatâs got you all blue?âÂ
You canât help but glare at him. âThey say you donât know a language unless you know how to properly insult someone,â you say. âBut I donât actually know any useful Naâvi, and I havenât had a conversation with anyone. Half of the words I know are just insults!â
âSimmer down,â says Spider. âYou learned plenty today,â he says.Â
âAnd, last I heard, you did have a conversation with someone,â Loâak mutters.Â
Spider crosses his arms over his bare chest and looks you in the eye. âWeâll do our best to teach you.â
âThen teach me,â you reply, glaring daggers his way.Â
Spiderâs eyes narrow. He clicks his tongue against the roof of his mouth. A couple of hours ago, you were enthusiastic. Now, youâre starting to get on his nerves.Â
Spider then looks over at Kiri, and makes an almost silent whistling noise. In response, Kiriâs ears twitch and she peeks over her shoulder.Â
âWhat the hell did you just say to her?â you demand.Â
âOh, that?â Spider chuckles dryly. âI didnât say anything, yet.â
âWhat is it?â Kiri calls back to him.
When Spider responds, he speaks entirely in Naâvi. When Kiri replies to him, she does the same. Spider then turns to you, speaks only in Naâvi again, then laughs. He says something else. Laughter erupts. Kiri and Loâak follow suit.Â
You have no choice to presume theyâre talking shit about you in their native language.Â
In reality, theyâre saying things that make no sense just to get you riled up. The first thing Spider told Kiri was âletâs pretend like weâre making fun of her. Keep going along with it until I say stop.â
Needless to say, they play their roles with great conviction, like actors on a stage. They fool you.Â
âYou guys are dickheads! Thatâs enough.â
They finally stop when you fold your arms over your chest and start pouting; but they donât stop laughing until Norm yells from down the hall to, in his words, âtone that shit down.â When theyâre caught, Spider purses his lips, and Kiri and Loâak takes deep breaths from their respirator masks in unison.Â
âYouâre incredibly impatient,â Spider admits, lowering his voice. Loâak nods in agreement. Youâre all sitting around the tube that holds Graceâs Avatar. Kiri traces small shapes on its surface with her lithe fingertips.Â
âAnd you three,â you say, pointing at each of them, âare a bunch of jesters.â
âNo, youâre a jester,â says Loâak. He doesnât even know what that word means, not in English anyway.Â
âThatâs exactly what a jester would say.â You groan in frustration. âI am impatient, but you donât have to say it so directly,â you reply. Your expression is downcast and dejected.Â
You want to learn the language. You want to be able to talk to people. You want to carry out conversations, and learn, and laugh, and cry. You want to become a phoenix, rising from the ashes of an otherwise hopeless situation. Youâre here, youâre alive, yet you donât feel that way. Not at all.Â
You donât want to feel like an outsider. You donât want to live life from a birdâs eye view, on your little perch by the tiny window. You donât want to feel like a canary in a cage. You donât want to feel like a fish in a large, technologically-advanced bowl. Or like a beetle in a glass jar with holes poked in the top. You donât want to be alone. You donât want to be locked away in the science shack, just like how you were in the RDAâs basement.Â
Your eyes water. How could it be? Have you simply gone from one prison to another?
âYou may be impatient, but I think youâll fit in with us just fine,â Loâak interjects. He smiles genuinely. After a few moments, so do Spider and Kiri.
You wipe your eyes. Your face feels hot.Â
Kiri calls you by your first name, grasping hold of your attention. âDonât worry. Weâll teach you to speak Naâvi, and youâll be just like the rest of us,â she says affectionately.Â
âI donât know about that,â Loâak mutters.Â
Thereâs a pregnant pause. You, Spider, and Kiri expect him to say that youâll never be a true Naâvi, or something of the sort. You werenât raised as such, like the three of them.Â
âShe wonât grow another foot overnight,â Loâak says finally. He looks right at you with a shit-eating grin. âYouâll never be as tall as we are.â
âWell said,â Spider remarks.Â
---
Kiri and Loâak canât stay for much longerâthey have to sneak back to their tent before Jake Sully finds out what theyâve been up to.Â
âThey wonât get in trouble if he finds out, right?â
You and Spider are the last two awake. Youâre sitting at the kitchen table.Â
Spider waves his hand around nonchalantly. âThey never do,â he says. Thereâs a brief pause. âOkay, sometimes Loâak does,â Spider adds. âBut never Kiri or Tuk. Youâll meet her eventually. Sheâs the youngest sibling.â
âAlright, so thereâs the three of them. Loâak, Kiri, and Tuk. And Neytiri is their mother, right?â
âFour of them,â Spider corrects you. âNeteyam is the oldest. One year older than Loâak.âÂ
You blink. âNeteyam is the Olo'eyktanâs eldest son? The one who found me?âÂ
âThatâs what I said, didnât I?â Spider retorts.Â
You glare at him. âYes, thatâs what you said, only a whole week late!â You whisper-shout at him. âJust like with Kiriâs biological mother.â
Spider throws his hands up. âI guess I thought someone already told you,â he says defensively. âYou talked to Jake, right?â
âRight,â you reply. âBut he didnât mention anything about Neteyam being his son. Didnât mention anything about his children actually.â
âWith all that you went through with those fuckers, he may have thought it could be taken as insensitive,â Spider suggests.Â
You hum. Maybe, just maybe, Spiderâs right.
âKiri works in the tsahĂŹkâs tent during the day. Loâak puts in the least amount of effort necessary to be considered one of the warriors,â Spider says. âHeâs usually around, but oftentimes not. Either way, we will find time to help you learn Naâvi.âÂ
âIs Neteyam one of the warriors?â you ask.Â
Spider nods. âThese days, heâs become one of the best.â
Your thoughts drift back to when Neteyam found you. You were practically ambushedâhe was so controlled, so swift with his movements. Spiderâs words donât surprise you.
âSo, heâs busy all the time?â
Spider addresses you by name. âWhat are you getting at?â
âI still need to thank him,â you confide. âHe canât avoid me forever.â
Spider sighs. âHe can try,â he mutters.Â
âSo, he is avoiding me?â you ask. Your cheeks are turning red again.
âHeâsâŚâ Spider begins. He looks distraught. âHe wasnât always like this,â Spider says. âNeteyam and I are cool, but he never sets foot inside this place if he doesnât have to. Ever since the Sully family returned from living with the Metkayina, the Reef People, he doesnât get along with Norm and the others like Kiri and Loâak⌠He merely tolerates the scientists here.âÂ
âYouâre saying he hates humans,â you say bluntly.Â
âHate is a strong word,â Spider replies. âBut he has many reasons to dislike themâŚâ Spider swallows. âTo dislike our kind.âÂ
The words fall from your lips: âyouâre right.â
You begin to question whether or not you should follow through with thanking him for saving you. The interaction with Kiri and Loâak went so wellâperhaps it gave you an ounce of hope, things might go smoothly with Neteyam too. Heâs been on your mind constantly, replaying in your thoughts like a broken record. Youâre certain there are other Naâvi who share similar sentiments. You have to be careful.
âDonât think about it too hard,â says Spider. He stands from the table. âIâm going to sleep,â he says plainly. His footsteps fade as he walks to the barracks.Â
Spiderâs sympathies do very little to ease your mind.Â
---
Spider kept his word. Kar is teach. Karyu is teacher, and Karyunay is apprentice teacher. Ayfo kar ngaâthey teach you.Â
In the daysâand eventually, weeksâto come, you fall into a new routine.
You study Naâvi during the day-time hours. The science shack isnât so bad. Sometimes, if heâs available, Norm works with you on your phonetics and grammar. But typically, itâs just you, your electronic tablet, and your perch by the windowsill.Â
When you learned other Earth languages in the past, it was easier to learn other languages in proximity to their language group with which you were familiar. Romance languages, such as Spanish, French, and Italian, bore many similarities. The same went for Germanic languages, and even some Sino-Tibetan languages.Â
Naâvi, however, is completely different from any language youâve spoken, or even attempted to learn. But your dedication is unwavering.Â
Loâak and Kiri return to the science shack two days after your first encounter with them.Â
âOkay, Spider was right. At first, he was angry,â Kiri says. She takes a deep breath through her respirator. âBut then, I suppose he thought about it more and decided it was a good idea after all.â
Jake Sully has given Loâak and Kiri his word of approval to help with your studies at nightfall, as long as they donât slack off their usual duties.Â
âHe thinks itâs a good âmethod of assimilationâ or some shit like that,â adds Loâak.
You nod. âHeâs right,â you say.Â
âYeah, whatever,â Loâak admits nonchalantly. âSometimes.âÂ
You all sit on the floor around Graceâs tube again.Â
âWell,â you clear your throat. âToday, I studied grammatical structure and simple, common vocabulary. Maybe we could start with-â
âNga zaâu ftu peseng?â Spider asks. Heâs asking âwhere do you come from?â
You blink. It takes a moment for the cogs in your brain to rotate. But in due time, you register his question.Â
âI come from Earth,â you reply in English.
âIf you really want to learn,â Spider says, âyou should reply in Naâvi.â
You should. The only issue is, youâre not sure how. But you have no choice but to give it a try.Â
You fail the first time. The second time, you almost get it rightâclose enough to where Kiri pries her eyes away from her mother to give you a look of encouragement and a thumbs up.Â
âYouâre almost there,â says Loâak. He straightens his posture, no longer slouching against the glass tube. âBut if you donât want to sound like a baby learning their first words, you need to change up the word order. For myself, I would reply with âzaâu oe ftu Eywaâeveng.â Which means in English, âI come from Pandora.â Your reply, obviously, is going to be a little different.â
Loâak pauses, takes a breath from his respirator, then mimics your higher-pitched voice, speaking as you would reply in Naâvi.Â
His impression of you is already spot on. âI donât sound like that!â you protest.Â
They all laugh, and you canât help but join them.Â
For the rest of the evening, the three of them ask you simple questions in Naâvi. All you have to do is reply, also in Naâvi. The longer you go, the easier it gets. You build upon the scaffolding of your day-time studies, as well as every question and response before the next.Â
---
This continues for many nights.Â
During the days when youâre sitting by the window and Loâak and Kiri pop into frame, you instinctively smile and wave to them. They always reciprocate.Â
They donât say it outwardly, but the two of them look forward to these evenings with you. They get to spend more time with Spider. And, although theyâre both fluent in English, the practice benefits them, too. Plus, theyâve taken a liking to you as well.Â
âWho the hell are you waving at, skxawng?â Neteyam asks Loâak one day. Theyâre about to head off on their ikrans to train. Loâak needs to learn a new hand-to-hand technique. Neteyam is conveniently out of your line of sight.
âIâm waving to the new girl!â Loâak exclaims. He continues waving. Heâs practically beaming.
Neteyam huffs.Â
âHer pronunciation is getting much better,â Loâak says. His arm falls to his side again. âBut it honestly wasnât bad to begin with,â he adds. âDo you think you were, perhaps, exaggerating?â
âNo,â Neteyam answers curtly. He looks agitatedâhis ears twitch and his tail swishes wildly. âSheâs a distraction." You're proving Neteyam's point. Lo'ak won't stop waving. Neteyam groans. "Hurry up, Lo'ak. We have things to do,â he says. When they were younger, Neteyam wouldâve slapped Loâakâs bicep or grabbed him by the ends of his hair, but heâs a man now. He canât show his impatience or impulsivity.Â
Lo'ak disappears from your vantage point.
---
Itâs already been a month. Your diligent practice is starting to pay off.Â
You can hold very basic conversations in Naâvi. Youâre learning more about the language and culture every day.Â
They don't want to feed your ego, but your teachers have discovered you're a fast, proficient learner.
âSyep means 'to trap.' Itâs a verb,â Loâak explains to you in English. Heâs lying on the floor with his legs propped up on a chair from the dining table. Suddenly, he swings his feet from the chair, and stands to his feet.Â
You don't want to feed any of their egos either, but they're all smarter than they think. Especially Lo'ak.
âSpider, peseng lu syeprel?â Loâak asks.Â
Youâre unsure what a syeprel is, but you know heâs asking where itâs located.Â
âI think itâs in the supply closet, over there,â Spider replies in Naâvi.Â
âWhatâs a syeprel?â you ask, also in Naâvi.Â
âTake a guess!â Loâak calls from down the hall.Â
You hum. You switch back to English: âWell, it must be a particular type of trap? Like a mouse trap or something?â
Kiri hums too. âIt does technically trap something,â she says after a few moments. âBut youâre thinking too literally,â she adds with a smirk.Â
You scratch your head. Youâre dumbfounded.Â
âA-ha!â Loâak says triumphantly. âIâve found it.â
âFound what?â you call.Â
âAsk nicely,â says Kiri. âIn Naâvi.â
You try again. âRutxe,â you say, slightly embarrassed. You do as youâre told, and ask in Naâvi.Â
Loâak returns. Heâs holding an ancient piece of technologyâan extremely old hand-held digital camera with a slightly scratched lens. âSay cheese!âÂ
He snaps a photo of you, Spider, and Kiri lounging around on the floor. None of you were prepared.
Kiri sighs and glowers at him. âLoâak!â
Loâak chuckles. âAlright, alright. Weâll take another one.â
The four of you stand around Loâak, the camera operator. âKiri, crouch down a little bit,â he says, directing your places. âSpider, lean closer to Kiri.â You hear Spider sigh.Â
Loâak then glances at you over his shoulder. âStand on your toes, tawtute. Or else you wonât be in frame,â he chides you with a sly smile.Â
You do just that and smile for the syeprel. âYouâre an ass, Loâak,â you say through your teeth.Â
âSmile, everyone!â he sings in Naâvi. Loâak spins the camera around to take a photo of everyone while operating it at the same time. He smiles and snaps another photo. The flash is momentarily blinding.
You break free from your pose. âSo, a camera is called syeprel?â
âYes, it is.â replies Loâak in Naâvi. âIt traps a moment in time, doesnât it? Rel means like an image, or a picture,â he adds in English.
Itâs clicking. Your jaw goes slack. Spider canât help but chuckle at your expression.Â
âLanguage learning is so cool,â you gawk.
âYou sound just like Norm,â says Kiri.Â
âWhatever,â you say in Naâvi. You switch back to English again. âThere are lots of animal names in English like that. Anteaters eat ants. Junebugs come out in the month of June to find mates. Grasshoppers hop around in the grass. Centipedes are named after their one hundred legs.âÂ
âNow you really sound like Norm,â Kiri teases you. âDonât start talking about plants too, or Iâll have to go home.âÂ
âWhat about bed bugs?â asks Spider. âI've only heard of them from the others. Never seen them here. Iâm assuming they would be found in your bed?âÂ
You nod.Â
Kiri hums, thinking. âWhat about butterflies then?â she asks. âI know that butter comes from milk and milk comes from Earth cows, but could they make butter too?â
You scrunch your nose at the mere thought of butterfly butter. âI donât think so.â
Loâak can hardly contain his laughter. âWhat about cockroaches?âÂ
Kiri smacks his chest. Loâak half-groans, half-cackles. Kiri scolds him in Na'vi, but it's not long before she starts laughing too.Â
You and Spider follow suit. From down the hall, Norm calls for you four to keep it down again.
But you canât stop. In fact, Normâs complaints make it worse. Joyous laughter fills the room. Youâre having the time of your life. For the second time since your escape, you think this must be heaven. Youâre briefly reminded of your imprisonmentâyou remember the few times you laughed with your cellmates. You remember those slivers of euphoria.Â
You also remember that youâre safe now. The science shack isnât so bad. Not with Spider, and Kiri, and Loâak, and even Norm, and Max, and Mia, and all the others.Â
You laugh until your ribs hurt. You laugh until tears well in your eyes.Â

NETEYAM X READER X SULLY FAMILY (platonic)
When neteyam had first told you about the sully family leaving, that they were being hunted, including you, it came as such a shock, you'd known Neytiri all your life, and you'd also known that the goddess of a woman loved this land more than she loved her ikran. You were even further surprised when you learned that jake wanted you to come.
You were there when those Human-NAvi breeds had interrogated Lo-ak , those men yanked your hair and held you up like you were a slab of meat. That was when it all started, with a knife pressed to your throat, and spider being taken away, you knew something big was going to happen.Â
You belonged to this family since you were very young, being that your own parents were killed off by the sky people, leaving you as a child with mo-at. Jake took you under his wing, after all, You were only a year younger than neteyam, so they couldn't turn you away. Eventually, sensing the strong relationship between you and their oldest son, you were declared his promised mate.Â
Even so, you never truly felt like a part of the family, Jake and Neytiri tried their hardest, but often times you outcasted yourself, trying to prove yourself, trying to show them that they shouldn't regret taking you in. It didnt help that as you grew up, you and their oldest son developed some kind of complicated relationship, something neither of you could explain fully.Â
So, even though you loved this land, loved your home, with all of your heart, you left. The clan leadership was passed along to another family, and you all packed up your things, boarded your ikrans, and left. The ride was long, and hard, you didn't dare look back at the forest once you crossed the shoreline, fearing that homesickness would overcome you.Â
---
When you arrived at the metkayina tribe's village, you, along with the entire family, were greeted with a not-so-warm welcome, hostility was laced in every word they said. A woman, clearly pregnant, circled around your family, eyeing all of you down. You unknowingly caught the attention of the only son of the metkayina clan leader.Â
âWhy have you come upon our land? Forest people belong in the forestâ she spoke, hissing out the words, and locking eyes with neytiri. boys behind you grabbed at your tail and arms, yanking you about, commenting on how skinny, how frail it was. Neteyam stepped behind you and wrapped an arm around your waist, shooting a look to the greenish-blue boys.Â
âWe are seeking refuge, and can't stay with the omaticaya clan.â Your father interjected, stepping in front of Neytiri, who was already hissing at the woman for touching tuk. For touching her. Obviously, you all were desperate, the different clans never mixed.Â
âYour arms are skinny, along with your tails, you will move very slow in the water. And you have no knowledge of our ways, you all will be like babies.â She grabbed Neytiri's tail, and yanked. You willed yourself not to go forward and push her off. You were just so scared, and so tired, if they didn't accept you, then you would have no where else to go. You clutched neteyams hand tight, just trying to relieve any of the anxiety you had with his presence.Â
âWe can learn your ways, please. Iâm just trying to protect my family.â Jake begged, locking eyes with you for a split second, then with the woman again, they held gazes for a few ominous moments. You stood in the back, wanting to cave in on yourself like a crab.Â
âIt is settled, my children will give theirs lessons on our ways, and we will give them a home, treat them like your brothers and sisters.â
---
It was rough at first, having to abandon all of your traditions, the way you ate, the way you lived, the way you breathed. But as days passed, you got used to it, proving yourself to be a quick learner, catching on to the way of water fairly quickly. You werent as good as tsireya or anuong of course, But you were certainly ahead of lo-ak.
Once the anxiety of moving left you, you were finally able to appreciate the world around. All the unfamiliar excitements that came with a new home. The water that filled your home, the fish, the sand, the plants, the corals, everything was so⌠beautiful. That was the only word you could use to describe it.
Often you wished to live under the sea, be part of ey-wa, you grew to be absolutely fascinated with it. How the ocean could be full of peace, or rage, how it could be as beautiful as it was terrifying. You didn't think that you'd ever been this content before, in a place that you loved, with the people you loved. Â
But, there's always a yin to a yang. And for you, that happened to be the children of the clan leaders. Tsireya was kind, and so bubbly, the two of you got along very well, even being able to call yourself somewhat best friends, you would giggle about the sully boys being idiots or gossip about the village and it's people.Â
But⌠anuong and roxto? They were much less than happy to help you and your family, anuong believed that forest people belonged in the forest (like mother like son), and as roxto idolized his older brother, so did he. While anuong did harbor some strange feeling for you, which made him cut back on his teasing for you (and only you), he still made it a living hell for neteyam, and lo-ak, and kiri.Â
They poked fun at the skinniness of your people's arms and legs and tails, bullying lo-ak for having a hard time, at kiri for being a strange girl, and especially at neteyam, just for having you.Â
And you. Anuong couldn't find an ounce of reasoning why, but he hated you, because he couldn't stop liking you. Which resulted in only the most loving teasing and bullying from him and his goonds. You couldn't tell the difference.
They always knew where to find you most of the time, with your head buried in the sand, or sitting on top of corral with a turtle, or picking seaweed for no reason at all. You had the strangest habits.
Like now, you floated on top of the shallow water, a few seashells sunbathing on your back, your hands stuck in the sand below. You didn't even notice the three boys coming up close, commenting on what the hell you thought you were doing.Â
âShe's looking at the sand! What kind of freak are you?â one of the boys yelled above the water, pulling your tail up, that you did hear. Your head perked up from under the water, and you kicked his hand away from you. Wiping your eyes, you let out a soft
âHuh?â confusion laced through your tone, you stared at the three, anuong stood in the middle, looking strangely meek, while the one pulling at your tail giggled at your âidiocyâ, the sight of them towering over you explained enough, and brought fear to you.Â
âHuh?â roxto mocked, splaying his hands out âI said- What kind of freak, are. You. â he repeated, and as you stood up he got close to your face, and placed a hand on your shoulder, sticking his tongue out and hissing. You cowered back, and shrugged his hand off.Â
âIâm not a freak.â you spoke, and began walking towards the village and shore, hoping you could lose them, or they would just give up. They didn't, and instead followed you, tugging at your braids, and your tail.Â
âAre you sure, looking at stones, playing with fish. Freak.â anuong was the one this time to speak up, pointing at the little pile of seaweed and seashells on the shoreline. He leaned over, and hissed the word in your face, you were on the verge of tears at this point . Footsteps behind him were swift and soft as they came closer.Â
âBack off man, leave her aloneâ Lo-ak smacked him across the back of his head, coming up in front of you to serve as a barrier from anuong. He'd known that you weren't the most normal person, but it still pissed him off to no end that people like anuong could walk all over you.Â
âAwwww, does the freak need her little brother to come and save her?âThe boys around teased and pulled on lo-ak, grabbing at his âbabyâ tail and poking fun at him, lo-ak was dumb, you'd known this since he was young, he was reckless, and didnt think. But, his recklessness made him strong. But also gets him into situations like this. Where the two of you end up in an equal amount of trouble, tears threatening to spill from your eyes , and lo-akabout to set somebody on fire.Â
You automatically felt safer seeing neteyam rise frm the ocean waves, clearly hearing the commotion on the beach, he had been out here with you and lo-ak, but the three of you separated for a short moment. Of course anuong had to start something when he wasnt there to protect you.Â
âHe said, leave her aloneâ Your mate shoved roxto back from you and set a hand on your shoulder, anuong raised a brow, but hushed his friend when he began mocking you for needing neteyam to come and save you too. The man you loved locked eyes with you and grabbed your hand, clearly trying to rub it in anuongs face that you were his. Then, he walked, and lo-ak followed.Â
âDemon blooded freaks, all of them. You don't belong here.â Anuong hissed, eyes narrowing at the three of you beginning to walk away. You held onto lo-ak, knowing that the remark would set him off the edge further, trying to pull him back when he turned around. He just shook your hand off, and hurried over to anuong.Â
You didnt even care to listen to what Lo-ak was saying, knowing damn well that it would just end with him throwing punches, you were proved right when neteyam left a small kiss on your forehead, and sprinted over to jump into the mix. They yanked tails, and ears, and eventually, you sat in the sand and watched, laughing when they wined.Â
When both sides had tired out, and anuong and his little trio had run away, neteyam and lo-ak returned, you already had your lecture prepared, which was just a soft version of what Jake and Neytiri would say.Â
âWhat happened to not causing a ruckus? Dad is going to kill you.â
âI Wouldn't let them talk to you like that, my y/n, not ever.â
---
You listened to Your father as he talked to the two boys, which turned out to be a lecture exactly as you had predicted, a-lot of yelling and âyes-sirâsâ, you were praying to ey-wa that netetayam wouldnt take the blame again as he usually did, knowing that it would only make things worse. But as usual, he did the exact opposite of what you needed,Â
âIt was my fault, I started the fight. They called y/n a freak,
told her she was strange.â He spoke, which only made jake angrier that his boys couldn't control themselves. Although he couldnt really blame neteyam, you were his mate, of course, the two of you hadn't completed the ritual, but you were head over heels for each other. Jake would certainly fight a metkayina boy for Neytiri. Anyday. By the end of the lecture, both lo-ak and neteyam were exhausted.Â
âGo apologize, he's the clan leader's son, make it count.â lo-ak huffed at that but still walked out, you did feel bad for him, you always did. But there was nothing you could do to change your dad's mind about this. He would just have to do it. When neteyam began to leave the hut, you started sitting up to go talk to him, not before your father could stop him though.Â
âWait, neteyam. How did those other guys look?âÂ
âWorse.âÂ
âGood, thats good.â
You laughed.Â
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*extra*
Later that day, when the eclipse darkened the sea, the entire family was all inside, eating dinner and talking about their days. You stayed outside, preferring to watch the fish swim at your feet. You weren't upset, per se, just mildly off-put. You didn't think that anoung hated you THAT much. You did notice the loud footsteps behind you on the wooden peer, clearly belonging to your dad, but you didn't say anything. When he sat next to you, and you lay down with your head in his lap.Â
âI heard about what happened today, did they hurt you? I'll beat them myself if they didâ He threatened, a way-too serious look on his face for him to be joking. You let out a chuckle nonetheless, letting his hand place itself on the center of your back.Â
âNo. They just made fun of me.â your voice was hushed, and it was apparent you were at least a little embarrassed by the incident. You didn't think you were a freak, you didn't know as much about this place as the natives did, so you were obviously excited about everything. That's the only reason you liked to collect the seaweed or look at the sand. You let out a sigh.Â
âBabygirl?â He spoke, beginning to rub circles into your back in a comforting motion.
âYeah?â You were relaxed now, being in the arms of the only real father figure you've ever known. You swished your hand in the water below, watching the glowing little guppies follow it around.
âIf one of them boys ever speaks to you like that again, punch them so hard in the nose that they won't be able breathe for a week.â He threatened, making a fist with his free hand and motioning a punch. You just stared up at him and snickered at how serious he was.Â
âOkay, iâll make sure to do that next timeâ you laughed at the thought of you even remotely trying to fight, you were good with arrows, knives, and medicines, but not fists.Â
âAnd if you don't want to, call me, or lo-ak, or even better,Â
NeteyamâÂ

YOU'RE DEAD TO ME
[12: EPILOGUE]
dad!Jake Sully x human!daughter!reader
In which Jake Sully leaves his life on earth to settle down with the Omatikaya people as Toruk Makto. Having a family that consists of four kids with Neytiri, everything seems to work out just fine, but what if the past comes back for him? And his babygirl is right there in front of him?
previous chapter
next chapter [none]
The air felt so much lighter and the sun much brighter. Cold water droplets landing on your warm skin as you sat under a damp tree, cooling your sweating body down. Your fingertips touched the mossy ground from under you as they disappeared into the green grass that stood tall.
The touch tickled your skin as you enjoyed the peaceful scenery around you.
Peace.
Quiet.
At ease.
No sounds of war surrounding you or the horrifying screams of the natives filling your eardrums. Just the noise of chirping animals in the background as you inhaled the pandoran air. Your eyes closed as you dozed off, back rested against the same tree you're settling down under.
Your ears twitched. There was a change of background noise. You heard it.
Chirp chirp rustle chirp.
It wasn't loud, but you caught onto it. Your eyes were still closed, waiting for any other unusual sound. A rustle. A thud. The hand that roamed around the high grass moved slowly, but delicately towards your dagger. Your nails dug into the dirt as your hand wrapped around the weapon. You heard another couple of rustles and tried to pinpoint out in your head where THEY would be now. It was more than one.
You could hear soft thuds of footsteps in between a pair of footsteps and the same bush was hit twice. You tried to imagine the scenery in front of you. A small hill in the corner of your right eye, from behind there a small little river flowing down with around the edge a huge bush. Surrounding you just a bunch of naturally placed trees from all sizes. You knew there was a branch just a few meters in front of you. You placed it there for occasions like these. The wood was small, therefore hard to spot thanks to the high grass.
You waited and waited.
Until, snap.
The branch was crushed in half and you jumped from the ground, dagger in hand as you pointed it towards the danger that you would soon face with a soft hiss leaving your lips. Well, a danger isn't what you could really call it, as Lo'ak and Tuk stood in front of you with their hands thrown up in defense.
"Calm down! It's us! Damn, you really got feisty in that form." Lo'ak yelped it out as he took a step back. He then turned to Tuk who was stood on the broken branch. "Tuk! You should watch where you're going! Now our entire stealth plan in scaring sis is ruined!" The words almost escaped his lips with a whine, almost. Tuk's ears ppinted downwards as she gazed at her feet, "I'm sorry..."
A sigh left your lips, shaking your head in the process. You walked up to your siblings. Where you would usually reach Lo'ak around his stomach and Tuk around her neck, you were now facing his neck instead as Tuk reached your stomach.
You put your navy blue hand on her head as you rubbed her head, "It's okay, little Tuk. Lo'ak is just being a meanie! Right?" You then faced your little brother and grabbed him by his cheek. You pulled hard, causing him to yelp out, "right?" You frown as you look up at him, eyes squinted. He immediately nodded in response, his ears flopping slightly as he did so. A small "yes" left his lips and you let go of his cheek in satisfaction.
"Dad wants you back, actually. It's almost dinner time."
"And he sent you?" You raised your eyebrow in suspicion, soon squinting your eyes awaiting an answer from him.
"Okay okay! I actually overheard dad talking to mom so I uhh.... went to get you and took Tuk with me?" He already took a step back as he spoke, scratching behind his neck, "Don't kill me! I just uh, missed you???"
You pinch the bridge of your nose, "Of course you did. You know that if you go somewhere you need to tell someone, especially with taking little Tuk here. I'm not mad, but just, don't wander off without saying a word alright? It's still dangerous out here." You bring your hand to his cheek, this time rubbing it instead of pulling at it like a pillow, "I care about you, you know that right?"
Lo'ak's tail swayed and hit the ground as it did so, nodding his head in understanding, "I'm sorry.."
You shook your head, "no, don't apologize, just, try your best alright? You can also notify me whenever you go somewhere. Now come on you two, we got dinner to catch, don't we?" You pat both of their shoulders, before pulling away and sprinting away.
"Last to get to High Camp gets the tiniest piece of dessert!"
All those years of tormenting yourself, closed off, blinded by anger and sadness. Letting the negative emotions consume you whole. You didn't know what you lived for or why you lived. Negative thoughts taking over your rational way of thinking.
Why did he leave me?
He won't return for me.
Is there something wrong with me?
Did he hate me?
You didn't know what to live for, but now.
"We're back!!" Tuk barged into their shared hut, followed by you and Lo'ak. Neytiri was in a crouched position as she readied the table, but got up once she heard the familiar voice of her daughter, "where were you?! Your father and Neteyam are looking for you as we speak!" She made her way towards Lo'ak, "and you skxawng! What were you thinking bringing your little sister with you!"
Lo'ak's ears point downwards as he got scolded, but you and Tuk soon intervene, "Don't be too hard on him, mother. He can be, unintentionally, reckless. I already talked with him." You explained as you stepped in front of your little brother, putting your hand on his back as you smacked his skin. Tuk stumbled to the front too as she nodded her head, "sis talked to him! And I wanted to explore as well, it's not only on him. It's not so fun to be here the entire day while there is an entire world to explore!"
Neytiri had her hand to her head, shaking her head as the words sunk in, "Lo'ak, Tuk, get to the main grounds to get our dinner."
They obliged to her wishes as they took off, leaving you alone with your mother. You bit the bottom of your lip as you awaited for whatever was to come.
"Are you okay, child?" She put her hand on your shoulder as she spoke. You nodded immediately at her question, "Don't worry, mother. I just needed a quiet place to think, you know?" You smiled softly at the affection. It took Neytiri a while to fully open up to you, flinching every now and then and subconsciously hissing whenever you approached her. The avatar body seemed to help her open up to you, though.
She nodded her head at your words and pulled away from you, "are you going to eat, with us?" You glanced to the table at her question, counting the place she had placed down. Eight plates. You had to stop a smile from appearing on your face, before nodding your head, "Yes, yes I am."
"There you are, was lookin' for ya." Your feet dangled in the air as you sat on a tree branch, mask sitting back on your face. You turned around once you heard that familiar voice, smiling at your father as you pat the branch empty space next to you.
"You disappeared right after dinner. Went looking for you. Didn't know I had to look for a tiny ant instead." Jake sat down next to you with a teasing grin, his palm raising to stroke your hair.
You scoffed at that remark, trying to push his arm away from you, "shut up, old man. I'm not a kid anymore."
"You'll always be my little girl."
Once you looked up at his face, you had noticed he was already staring at you with so much love and care in his eyes.
"This is so embarrassing.." you mumbled from under your mask as you hid your face into his arm. He could only chuckle in response. A peaceful silence took over, the sound of the wind rustling the leaves around you ringing through your ears.
After a few moments, Jake had opened his mouth, "thank you."
You could only look up at him confused, not speaking as you waited for him to explain himself. ", for giving me another chance." He breathed out from under his breath and even though it came out as a mumble, you heard the words loud and clear.
"You're my dad, after all."
The two of you exchanged a smile, before you turned back to look at the scenery, the sun saying goodnight as the moon decided to rise and shine.
"Dad!" Neteyam climbed through the trees with Lo'ak on his heels. The two brothers had sparkles in their eyes as they made their way to the two of you.
"Awee, why did you shrink back?" Lo'ak almost pouted as he pointed your human form out. You could only roll your eyes to visibly show him how you felt about that question.
"Did something happen, boys?" Jake had turned around, voice laced in worry and tenderness as he scanned his boys for any injuries.
"No, we are fine! Uhm we just had the ides to.. Neteyam!" Lo'ak smacked his older brother with his tail, earning a hiss in return.
"You sxwang!" Neteyam threw his arm around his brother's shoulders, before turning to their father, "we wanted to do a... night flight, actually." His ears turned downwards as he suddenly got all shy. His canines dug into his bottom lip as he awaited for his answer.
You smiled at the scene in front of you. This was your cue.
You yawned loudly as you got up from your sitting position, arms stretching as you spoke, "I'm going back to the lab. I'm so exhausted. Have fun! Make sure to bring me a gift." You hugged your father goodnight, soon turning to your not-so-little brothers and also giving each an individual hug, which turned out in them bearhugging you instead.
You watched as the three of them flew off, shuddering at the cold air that came your way from their wings.
Once arriving at the lab, you soon walked to your shared room with Seb and Raja, who were fast asleep as you entered the room. You shook your head with a chuckle as you were met with their snores. You took your bresthing mask off and hung it above your bed, taking a seat on the soft mattress to take a breather and daydream about your day. You trained, played around in your avatar body, ate dinner with your family and connected a lot with nature. A successful day in your eyes.
Thanks to all the activities, you were worn out and soon fast asleep in your bed.
It was late at night as your bedroom door opened, heavy yet quiet footsteps entering the room in just one singular step. He kneeled down, putting a small object on your nightstand and leaning down to kiss you goodnight.
On the object hung a piece of paper with human writing.
'Nete and Lo'ak found this feather. I tried to make it into a hairpiece. Goodnight my little girl.
- love, dad.'
A/N: this is it. The end of the series. My posting schedule went from daily to irregular and I had a lot of blocks in between posting having internal fights with my love for writing and/or under how much pressure I was. I wanted to add more to the ending, but with some help from someone close to me I realized I had told everything I wanted with this story and that I shouldn't force myself to add more than needed. Thank you all so much for being patient and reading this story as it went. I'm planning to pickup writing oneshots again and hope to feel more love when I write rather than pressure. So, until then! <3

It was celebrating you and a few other navi, along with your friend Kiri.
Now, 4 years ago you had decided to leave with your best friend. When the sullys had decided to leave, you had talked to your adopted father, Norm, and he had relented. He had shoved that tablet into your chest and made you promise to call him all the time, to which you've done.
And off you went, following your friend. Norm was almost convinced you would either mate Kiri or remain by her side forever, anyways.
But no, there were no feelings for your friend, as easy as that would be. She knew you and you knew her, almost like soul sisters.
That meant she also unfortunately knew of your silly little childhood crush on her older brother. At first it was just that; a silly little crush. But over the years, and as you grew and found out things you were attracted to, the oldest Sully boy seemed to check every box.
And unfortunately, as your luck may have it, so did another one.
Ao'nung was strong, resilient. As soon as he pulled his head out of his ass, he took charge of being the next Olo'eyktan. He was cocky, but humble now. He was a good warrior, a kind nurturer. He was the other side of the same coin with Neteyam.
Now, Ao'nung didn't exactly strike you as your type at first. He was an ass, he picked on Kiri and her brothers and tugged your tail one too many times to count.
But thankfully, it seems what with Lo'ak punching him in the face, then later the sully boy taking the blame for what happened at three brothers rock, he smartened up. He and Neteyam even got closer, they often sparred and learned from one another.
Your feelings for them only grew more and as soon as Tsireya had learned of your ever growing crush on her brother, she made it her mission to set you up with him. Then there was the issue with the other one. Lo'ak made it his mission to get his brother to finally see you.
So you had the lovebirds trying to set you up with someone, but not the same person.
What a headache.
You're finally able to slip out of the crowd after being tugged into a dance with Kiri, she snickers as you stumble, a little disoriented from the swaying.
"Shut up," you huff, taking a drink from one of the carved cups.
"Hey, yo, you got eyes on you," your friend smacks your arm, spilling part of your drink.
You hiss lightly, rolling your eyes,"Who?"
You're wiping your hand and wrist dry when she snorts, so you look up at her with your browbone quirked.
"Oh, shit," she chuckles.
"What??" You look around. You do feel the eyes, but you can't seem to find them.
"So, here's the thing," she turns to you, a shakey shit eating grin on her lips,"Lo'ak and Tsireya have been trying to set you up with their brothers, but neither of them know."
"Excuse me- what now?"
"Tsireya is trying to set you up with Ao'nung," she covers her mouth to stifle her laugh,"And Lo'ak is trying to set you up with Neteyam, and neither of them know."
Your jaw drops and you blink in surprise,"Uh- since when? Why? I- oh god, that's so embarrassing," you cover your face with both hands after putting your cup down.
"Since a little before you were training to claim your tsurak, since you becoming an adult and all needs some celebrating, and because you've been pining over them for forever," the last part comes out as a playful whine, and she takes your wrists and tugs your hands away from your face,"And quite frankly, you need to get laid. You've been alone for a while.. you shouldn't have to soldier through those heats alone, you know."
She almost seems worried, at first, but snickers at her own words.
You huff, thinking of a rebuttal but none come to mind,"So then, who do I choose? Your brother, or the ass who was mean to you?"
"Oh, come on now," Kiri rolls her eyes, smacking your shoulder lightly,"We've all but forgotten that, we were all kids."
"Yeah, yeah," you start, crossing your arms defensively.
"Hey, don't get all huffy with me," she yanks your arms down,"Just.. don't be so reserved anymore. You deserve to go and have some fun- but please, spare the details. I'd rather not hear of your escapades with either of them."
"But- I-"
She backs up quickly, giving you two thumbs up before disappearing into the crowd of dancers, surely to go and find Spider.
You sigh, picking your drink up and sip at it. You try to think, still feeling those eyes on you before a rough tug at your arm has you spilling the liquid.
"My drink- hey!"
"C'mere, I have someone I want you to talk to," Lo'ak smirks, dragging you somewhere.
Only, you're stopped, another hand wrapped around your other arm and tugging. You spot a grinning Tsireya and you whine as more of your drink is spilled to the sand.
"Come, come, wait, Lo'ak?" She looks at the boy with wide eyes and he mirrors that look,"What are you doing?"
He then grins,"I'm setting her up with someone," then tugs you to the side.
Tsireya keeps her grip firm, not relenting.
You snort at this, huffing at inspecting your cup and seeing nothing in it.
"What do you mean? I'm setting her up with someone.." Tsireya narrows her eyes at him.
Thankfully, it seems Eywa has blessed you to not have to literally be in the middle of this.
Only to curse you all over again.
A warm hand gently touches your back, and another, your shoulder.
"Sister," A raspy voice speaks,"I do believe Mother was looking for you."
You peer over your shoulder and go bug eyed at the sight of the ever growing Metkayina prince. He smirks lightly down at you.
You snap your head around, gazing at the oldest sully child. He only stares at his brother, seemingly telling him with his eyes to leave. Tsireya grips Lo'aks upper arm and drags him off, bickering.
The hand on your back guides you forward, and you realize quickly that it's Neteyam. Ao'nung has seemingly split off somewhere.
You're honestly at a loss for words. You look back at Neteyam in shock and he chuckles.
Thankfully, on the opposite side of the fire and dancing, there's logs to lounge on. He brings you to some far off, away from the noise enough that it's almost private. Several palm trees surround the particular area he's brought you to and you can't help but feel nervous.
Just as soon as you sit, Ao'nung is back with a fresh cup.
"I had seen that they had spilled your drink," he grins lightly.
"Oh- thank you," you grin back, taking it and sipping the cool fruit juice. You bring the cup down, watching as they settle on either side of you and you shrink in on yourself, unable to think of something to say.
Thankfully someone else does.
"Congratulations on your achievement," Neteyam speaks soft, proudly.
"Yes, that is truly a great step, you have done well," Ao'nung nods, turning to you as he straddles the log.
You blush lightly, nodding,"Thank you- was a lot of effort but truly worth it all."
You see Neteyam turning towards you and you gaze down at the drink in your hands,"So, uh-" You clear your throat,"What's up?"
Neteyam snickers quietly, turning away for a moment. Ao'nung grins cheekily, leaning to the side to catch your eye; you do end up gazing at him, wide eyes and nervousness clear.
"Nothing, tahni," he teases,"How are you enjoying the party?"
"Oh- it's great! Kiri and I danced a lot, Tuk joined for a bit but was dragged off by some other kids," you grin lightly.
"We saw, yes, I'm glad you've enjoyed the night so far," he scoots closer,"Got your eye on anybody?"
"What- huh?"
He smirks, tilting his head, but Neteyam speaks up,"Has anyone here caught your attention?"
"I- um, I don't know," you blush heavily, shrugging, then sip at your drink. God, this is a nightmare and a dream.
"Really, now?"
"Okay, Ao'nung," Neteyam grins lightly, shaking his head before redirecting his attention to you,"Sorry, he's been wanting to tease you for a while."
"I- what?"
"We started to notice that our siblings were," he smirks,"to put it shortly, trying to set us up with you. But they were doing so separately.."
"So one day, after sparring, Lo'ak had come by and I happened to overhear-"
"Oh, you were blatantly eavesdropping, Ao'nung," Neteyam rolls his eyes with a chuckle.
"Anyways- Lo'ak started to talk highly of you and low and behold, we've all been played!"
You snort out a laugh, shaking your head fondly and your shoulders slump as you relax,"Kiri had just told me before she left."
"So," Ao'nung draws out, scooting even closer. You idly feel Neteyam closer beside you, now seemingly straddling the log as well.
"So?" You question, nervous all over again.
"We wondered why they want us to be set up with you," The male behind you rasps,"Have you perhaps got something to tell us?"
By this point, Ao'nung has slid closer to you and leaned into your space. You're leaning back, nervous but only lean into Neteyam. You're suddenly very aware of the fact that you all are very much still outside, and you swear you can distinctly feel some lingering gazes of surely some jealous Metkayina women who see you as a potential threat. Taking a quick glance, you huff a sigh of relief, you're just out of sight for anyone to really decipher that it was you with two of the most sought after males.
"No- Nope, I don't," you mumble, blushing hotter as you struggle to keep eye contact with the metkayina.
He gently takes your free hand, dragging it forward and kissing along your knuckles. You choke on a gasp and he grins, turning your hand over and kissing your palm, slowly working up to your wrist.
"How about now, yawne?" Neteyam asks gently, now completely pressed into your side. He trails his fingers lightly up your spine, then back down, thumbing at the base of your tail.
You bite your lip to muffle the whine bubbling up from your throat.
"Come on, stop- stop teasing me," you mumble, looking away from them.
Ao'nung then grasps your left knee, lifting it and dropping it on the other side of the log, making you straddle it too. Your drink spills a little, but you don't care this time, and Neteyam gently takes the cup from your hand to drop it to the sand, spilling it. The metkayina gets even closer now, and you gasp as Neteyams hands grip at your sides to drag your back into his chest. You lean against him completely now and you feel your face grow even hotter if that were possible.
"Okay, enough teasing," Neteyam sends a warning look to Ao'nung,"We just want to know of your feelings, if they're returned, really."
Your eyes grow comically wide,"Returned? Wait, wait," you look at Ao'nung in confusion,"I- what is happening right now."
"We like you, and we'd love to have you for the night," Ao'nung is straight to the point, seemingly restless from dancing around the subject despite enjoying teasing you only moments ago.
"If you'll have us.. we can give you pleasure for the evening," Neteyam speaks soft into your hair, hands gently caressing your forearms.
Your breathing gets slightly heavier at the thought. God.. the things you have imagined while alone in your marui would make Eywa blush..
You swallow thickly, blinking up at the man in front of you,"No teasing?"
"Of course not," Neteyam reassures you.
Ao'nung grins,"Maybe not here," only to receive a smack on the shoulder.
You ponder it over for a moment before nodding softly. Ao'nung is quick to lean in, only to be held back by Neteyams hand on his forehead. He grunts in annoyance.
"Are you sure? Yes or no, tiyawn, your comfort is top priority," his voice is soft and tender.
You nod quick, clearing your throat,"Yes- yes, I'm sure."
Neteyam lifts his hand, and Ao'nung cups the side of your jaw to angle your face as he kisses you deeply right away.
You release a surprised noise, sighing into him as he licks into your mouth and you can't stop the whine you let out into his mouth. Neteyam leans down to press soft kisses against your shoulder.
Ao'nung kisses hot and fast and by the time he pulls back, kisses trailing down your throat, you're panting for breath.
Neteyam takes the other side of your jaw and turns your head to kiss you too. He kisses soft, sweet and tender, gently tonguing at your lips and diving in slowly. The lips at your neck suck marks, soon moving down to your clavicle and you jolt back with a surprised gasp at the hand traveling up your thigh.
"Can we- can we go somewhere private?"
The boys nod quick, taking your hand and lifting you from the log to lead you off. Thankfully it's only a few moments walk, but that's due to Ao'nungs impatience and he lugs you over his shoulder and takes off down the bouncing paths as you shriek out with giggles, to his own private marui just on the outskirts. Neteyam chuckles as he follows you both in, turning to tie the flaps closed before turning to you and grinning lightly.
You blush, suddenly everything hitting you and those nerves pile up. You watch as Ao'nung is cleaning parts of his marui, making his bed nicer. It seems Neteyam realizes your nerves rising, and comes over to cup your arm.
"Hey, if you change your mind or anything makes you want to stop, you tell us, ok? Your comfort is most important, no matter when, you tell us," he speaks reassuringly.
You nod and smile lightly in thanks,"I will, I promise."
"Good girl," he mutters before cupping your neck, angling your face up and kissing you softly once more.
Now it's Ao'nung that crowds in behind you, lifting your hair out of the way and again kissing your neck. You shiver in delight especially when four hands start to caress your body.
Two glide along your sides, tracing the ridges of your ribs, rolling up the notches of your spine and almost massaging up your back.
The other two cup your neck, trailing down your chest and glide over your breasts, down your sides and the thumbs dip into your navel to settle on your hips.
Neteyam disconnects from the kiss to press his lips down your jaw and along the column of your throat, and Ao'nung is quick to tilt your head, leaning down you kiss you deeply once more.
He pulls back after a moment, thumbing at the strings holding your top up,"Can I take this off?"
You nod quickly, breathing heavily.
"That breathless after a kiss? Thought I taught you better, paskalin," Ao'nung teases and you roll your eyes, then he's quickly untying the top as Neteyam peels it off, tossing it to the side.
Ao'nung groans, peering over your shoulder as your nipples harden up just slightly. He trails his hands up, cupping the underside of your boobs.
Neteyam cups your lower back, presses soft kisses down to your clavicle and nipping there, then quickly down to your chest. He kisses over the soft skin, then makes eye contact with you as he licks over your nipple. Your hips buck, a broken gasp seeping from your puffy lips.
He wraps his lips around the bud and teases, suckling lightly. You moan out as Ao'nung drags a hand up to pinch at your other nipple.
Your tail whips between Ao'nung's legs, smacking his calves and he chuckles at this, stepping back just an inch and bringing his other hand down to grab the base of your tail.
You yelp, eyes fluttering and head tilting back against his shoulder.
"Oh?" He grins, pressing a chaste kiss to the nape of your neck. He rubs his thumb at the skin around your tail, teasing the base and you whine, cutting it off as you bite your lip.
Neteyam lightly nips your nipple between his front teeth and you jolt, arching your back and pressing more of your flesh into him.
Neteyam releases your nipple, descending down your front,"I must taste you, paskalin," and he kneels before you. A shot of adrenaline races up your spine at the sight,"Great mother, you are divine."
You huff, blushing hot.
Ao'nung latches his head over your shoulder to watch as Neteyam unties your tewng, helping as he unlaces it from your tail, and its tossed to the side quickly. The metkayina ends up using his foot to spread yours, making you spread your thighs and Neteyam shoves himself through. He tenderly kisses your inner thighs and you sigh shakily, groaning when Ao'nung returns his attention and hands to teasing your nipples, pinching the softening buds to harden them up again.
The Omiticaya lifts one of your thighs, laying it over his shoulder and eyeing your pussy. It's wet, slick having gathered at your inner thighs already and he groans, taking in your scent greedily before he licks hot up your folds, delving his tongue between them by the top and locating your clit.
You bark out a moan, hips rolling and you lift your hands to cling to Ao'nungs forearms.
"Oh, f-fuck," you gasp out in surprise as his tongue curls over your clit, stroking over the sensitive bud relentlessly.
Ao'nung sucks marks into your neck and lightly grinds his growing cock into your backside as he watches.
The Omiticaya between your legs moans against you, then gently lifts a hand to prod at your dripping hole, pressing in,in,in, until he's knuckle deep.
You moan lowly, drawn out, nearly overwhelmed with the pleasure of him suckling on your clit and pulling that finger out then thrusting back in to your pulsing walls.
"Good girl," Ao'nung praises into your neck and you whine breathlessly.
Neteyam adds another finger, then recreates his pattern but quirks his fingers around, almost searching and-
"Oh! Fuck, wait!-" You jolt, hips bucking your cunt against his face.
He fingers into your gspot, grinning as he licks over your clit lazily.
The fingers teasing your nipples, tongue on your clit and those two long fingers fucking into your clenching cunt has you babbling incoherent words, shrieking out a moan and your back arches, head craning back as you cum. You heave for breath, blinking blearily and whine as he still drives his fingers into you. Your thighs clench and he chuckles, finally pulling out, and you sigh in relief.
"We're not done, tahni," Ao'nung grins into your neck before lifting you quickly and walking over to the bed where he lays you down. Neteyam follows behind silently, then kneels above you on the bed, watching and lazily untying his tewng.
Ao'nung unties his tewng quickly, then quickly moves between your thighs to bully his head through, weaving his arms up and under your thighs to grip the your hips, holding you in place. Once satisfied with his grip, he licks hot and rough at your folds, searching until he finds your clit. He licks over it teasingly then sucks just right and you cry out, thighs clenching around his head as you try to push at his head but he only grins into you, continuing to eat you out like he hadn't eaten in days. Neteyam strokes his cock languidly, sighing out of his nose as he watches you arch into Ao'nungs mouth.
"Please- Oh, shit, fuck," you whine, pleading for him to stop or to keep going, you don't know. All you know is that this is heaven despite your clit being oversensitive. Your hands grasp into his braid, tugging and he growls into your cunt.
He disconnects from your clit only to press his tongue into your waiting hole, the bridge of his nose perfectly grinding into the bundle of nerves as he fucks his tongue into you. He's enjoying this so much, he grinds his cock into the bedding.
You're reaching that crest quick, moans and whines are tumbling out of your mouth as you drag his face into your pussy. Everything snaps, you cry out desperately as you cum again, right on his tongue. He moans into you as your walls pulse around his appendage. He drags it out for a few moments and you whine, weakly pushing him away and he chuckles. He rises, and you blink up at him and shiver at the sight. His nose, chin, lips, even dripping down his neck is your slick. Shiny and a lot.
He grins,"You taste so sweet, paskalin."
You blink lazily, but then your gaze then snaps down to his waist and you swallow thickly.
He's huge- that same light teal color with a deeper blueish purple color at the base, small ridges flaring up around the base and those little tahni coming up in a pattern.
He comes in close, stroking himself after wiping his face of your slick. He gently cups your hip in one hand, lifting you slightly and prodding at your hole with his cock.
He gazes up at you,"Ready?"
And you nod quickly,"Yeah, yes," with a rasp.
He presses in, and there's little to no resistance so his tip pops in with ease, slowly filling your walls.
You choke on a moan, head craning back in shock. Neteyam watches, gently cupping your cheek and nodding at you, whispering praises that have your body lighting up even moreso.
Soon, Ao'nung presses completely inside, hips flush with yours. He grinds into you, leaning forward and bracketing his arms on either side of your head, then he pulls out, only to thrust back in. He tests the waters a few times, then finds a good rhythm, building up his speed.
All you can do is release punched out moans and whines, clinging to the underside of his biceps.
The Omiticaya sighs, fist speeding up around his cock and reaching down to thumb at your nipples.
Your cunt tightens around Ao'nung, pulsing hot and wet, slick leaking from your hole as he fucks into you quicker.
You feel it coming, unable to breathe for a moment as this one came around too quick, and your back almost hurts as you arch upward, crying out as it gushes through you. You cum hard, collapsing against the fabrics and struggle to catch your breath. He's relentless, though, continuing to drill his cock into you at a near punishing pace, hitting every sensitive spot inside and his pubic bone almost smacking against your clit. He finally leans down, groaning into your neck and biting the side of your neck lightly as he presses his hips flush to yours, cumming deep into you. You sigh shakily, bones like jelly and your chest heaves.
He takes a moment, and Neteyam brushes his thumb over your cheek tenderly while brushing away some stray hairs.
Ao'nung finally pulls out, gentle and slow, and you groan as your cunt clenches around nothing. Cum spills out of you and the metkayina grins at the sight.
He's quick to lean down, lifting you gently. You go with ease, after all not feeling your bones makes you pretty pliable.
"Neteyam, lay down, sit down, whatever," Ao'nung instructs, turning me around in his hold to face the Omiticaya.
Neteyam sits back, leaning against a beam and cups your hips as Ao'nung brings you closer,"Can you take me as well?"
You lick your lips, grinning weakly,"Not a quitter," and you chuckle weakly.
He grins, shaking his head before gripping the base and aiming, other hand clinging to your waist and Ao'nung gently guides you down onto his friends cock.
You whine, head tilting back onto Ao'nungs shoulder when you finally take Neteyam to the hilt.
The metkayina keeps you there for a moment and you breath shakily.
The Omiticaya reaches so much deeper at this angle, tip kissing your cervix.
You moan airily, hips gyrating on the cock and the shaft rubs at your inner walls perfectly.
You're then lifted, then thrusted back down his length with a broken cry.
Again; lifted, then dropped, completely at Ao'nung and Neteyams mercy as the metkayina fucks you onto his friends cock.
"Great mother- how are you still this tight?" The sully groans, fangs bared in a pleasured grimace. He moans, panting as your pussy clenches around him, not wanting to release him.
Ao'nung keeps helping you, and you're beyond thankful because you could not feel your thighs.
Slick drips down onto Neteyam, making every time you're dropped down create a wet slap. Your moans are drawn out, incoherent and desperate despite having already came 3 times.
"Look at our good girl, Neteyam," Ao'nung praises and you whine, embarrassed.
Neteyam grins, hand squeezing your hip in appreciation before drifting the other hand down to thumb at your sensitive clit.
You choke on a cry, your hands weakly trying to slap the hand away but to no avail.
"Pleasepleaseplease," you whine, groaning in desperation.
Ao'nung kisses your neck, rolling your hips up and down, quickening the pace and grinning at your desperate cries and moans.
You don't even have time to prepare for this one, it practically sucker punches you. Your pussy clenches again around the cock, seemingly milking it, and your vision blacks out as you cum, head tilted back in a silent gape. You squirt and it leaks down onto Neteyams navel.
Ao'nung just keeps bringing you up and down before the Omiticaya finally grips your hips tight and tugging you down flush on his cock. He groans deeply, also tilting his head back as he cums into you.
You remain on him for a while until you're able to come back to your senses, breathing finally normal and blinking blearily as you slump against Neteyam.
Ao'nung had spent that time to grab water, towels, and extra blankets.
You're in and out of sleep, only waking when Neteyam gently lifts you off of him and groaning at the emptiness, then when they're cleaning you gently.
They manage to wake you long enough to drink some water, dabbing away the sweat across your forehead and chest.
You're dozing off officially when they set you down in bed, curling up on either side.
They whisper praises, kissing your lips, cheeks, shoulders.
You slept real good that night.

Your siblings and spider were swimming around and looking at all the creatures around them, they are amazed by the ocean beauty. They couldn't stay under water for long as they soon made their way to the surface.
tsireya " what wrong"
tuk " you swimming to fast wait for us"
neteyam " we don't understand what you are saying with your hands"
tsireya " I can teach you don't worry"
kiri " this places is so beautiful"
spider " I have to agree with kiri"
lo'ak " you are all amazing swimmers"
aonung " thank you"
tuk " wait where is y/n will she be teaching us as well" the sully kids and spider were looking at three teens.
rotxo " she will be around later on today maybe be might be busy"
tuk " aww but I wanted to see her I miss her"
tsireya " she has missed you all as well she spoke highly of you all" the sully kids and spider smiled hearing towards words but, they really wish to see you.
aonung " now lets try something else out" The group had taken off try out something new, and that something new is IIu riding. The riding session was going well and bad at the same time.
lo'ak " ahhh"
?????? " are you okay there baby brother" lo'ak soon looked and saw you riding one of the IIu a smile had grown on his face, you soon dismounted off your iii and dove into the water. You had swam away a bit and soon came to the surface.
lo'ak " y/n"
y/n " hey lo'ak" lo'ak had soon heard laughing coming from the boy behind him.
lo'ak " that was embarrassing and I wipeout in front of tsireya"
y/n " it okay I had a hard time as well you will master the skill soon"
tuk " y/n you came"
y/n " be careful tuk"
tuk " i wil make sure of that y/n" soon your siblings and spider had made their way towards you, happy to see you again.
kiri " sister you look so beautiful there seem to be a new glow to you"
y/n " thank you"
spider " it seems like we have yet to master the ways"
y/n " don't worry you will master the way soon but it will take time, just like I told lo'ak"
neteyam " so do you know tsireya, rotxo, and aonung very well"
y/n " yes I do"
aonung " when she arrived her she had been brought into our family care, well mostly our brother had brought her home when she landed here ... she had been given refuge here and learned the ways"
neteyam " that all happened on the night you ..."
y/n " yes on the night I was banished from home it has been many years since that day"
neteyam " we are sorry if we could of done something that night, you would still been at home with us and we would of not missed so much in your life"
y/n " I know but what has happened has happened I have missed you all growing up as well"
tuk " well you might still get to see me get an ikrna as I dont have one yet and might never"
y/n " don't speak like that in time you will gain one"
spider " hey why don't you have tattoos like all the other women, your age around here"
y/n " well I have decided to wait a bit longer to get my tattoos"
lo'ak " you will look amazing with them"
y/n " thank you"
tsireya " y/n will you like to join us and help us teach your siblings if you are free"
y/n " I will love too" The group had went back to their lesson and everything was going well, some mess up here and there but the lesson were going good. The group had enjoyed your company as you had made the whole lesson fun, and you are very nice teacher as well.
Later on that day
y/n " I should go get the children I don't wish the care takers to be overwhelmed by all the little ones"
????? " are you sure this a good idea you might not be ready" you had heard kawwney voice, you soon had your IIu go to where his voice had been coming from and it lead you towards the location.
y/n " ......" you eyes had soon laid on Jake and tsu'tey as they are with tonowari and kawwney along with the other warriors. As the Jake and tsu'tey seem to be training to tame and ride the strimwings.
y/n " it seems like lesson here are going well" you had soon spoke up getting the group attention.
kawwney " y/n you have graced as with your appearance"
y/n " well I had gotten done helping my siblings and cousins with their lessons, along with your sibling and was heading back to the village as they were taking a break" you had gotten off your IIu and looked at the group.
tonowari " were the lesson good"
y/n " yes your children are good teachers"
kawwney " that good to hear"
Jake " hello y/n"
y/n " hello Jake tsutey I see you both wish ti ride one of the clans fearsome creatures"
Jake " yes it will be good and hey we need to learn right away"
tsu'tey " I have to agree with your father as warriors we most defend our families and clan"
y/n " are you sure about this the both of you these creatures are not lie ikran or dire horse"
Jake " I got this don't worry I will be okay" there was no talking Jake out of his decision, he soon got onto the strimwing as the other males held the creature in place.
y/n " keep a good form when you dive in and out"
Jake " got it there no need to worry" you just shake your head it seems like Jake, was allowing his ego to get the best of him. There was nothing you could do as his soon mounted onto the creature and made the bond.
tonowari " your daughter words are good advice take them to heart"
Jake " let do this" Jake soon took off but it didn't go well he soon lost control of the creature, just like lo'ak but a bit more embarrassing as some of the other warriors and kawwney were laughing. You had sighed watching Jake hiss in pain. The rest of the time Jake and tsu'tey seem not be being so well and were always falling off.
y/n " it will be good to end lesson for the day as you both seem tried and need rest, you and try tomorrow there no point on wearing yourself out"
Jake " sure"
y/n " good it will take time but soon enough you both will learn the ways"
Jake " thanks hey we should head back the village together the family home not that far from here"
y/n " I will love to but ...."
kawwney " y/n are you coming we promised to head back to the village together, as we have plans tonight and responsibilities as well"
y/n " oh yes goodbye for now take care" you soon had left with kawwney, he had a smile on his face as you and your IIu swam pasted him. Kaweney could feeling someone looking at him it was Jake and tsu'tey. Jake seem to have mixed emotions about everything going on, but there hadn't been a chance for words to be exchanged as all three males had parted ways.
y/n " you are tested the waters you know my husband"
kawwney " oh yes I know but what can he do about it, unless he wishes to start trouble"
y/n " oh eywa"
kawwney ": now if you excuse me I'm going to get our children" kawwney soon raced off and you laugh, calling him a cheater in the race to get home and see the kids. He did win in the end and you were fine with it, as you did get the time to be with the kids.
The sully family
lo'ak " we got to hangout with our sister today"
neytiri " that good we should have her over for dinner soon, as it been so long since we saw her"
tuk " we should invited kawwney over as well"
mo'at " oh yes he the eldest son of tonowari I have heard many good things about him"
Jake " ......"
mo'at " Jake what the matter"
Jake " I don't like him around my daughter"
lo'ak " well dad I have some bad news for you it seems like they are very close, as tsireya was telling as when she arrived here kawwnye had found here and brought here home attending to her when she was hurt helping her learning" mo'at knew there was more to the story but she was not saying anything, she was happy for her granddaughter and kawwney bond and she sense something as well.
neteyam " yes it seems like they have a good relationship we didn't ask if they are mates yet or not"
kiri " that might explain that glow she has"
mo'at " what glow"
kiri " I don't know but she has this glow that makes her even more beautiful and she happy, looking well too when she was with us she seem so natural in this environment"
tuk " she well liked by tsireya and her brothers the clan as well"
Jake " well I and your mother have a say in your sister relationship, and we have had some young man say they have taken an interest in her and we think one of them will be perfect for her and then she can come home with us when the time comes"
lo'ak " dad she has a life here and she happy"
neytiri " we know what best for your sister we have always know" mo'at sighed hearing towards words as she was drinking some water.
mo'at " I have a feeling y/n life here is wonderful and you two interrupting that will be rude, towards her and clan who been helping us"
Jake " I know mo'at but I will not having my daughter living the rest of her life here, and without here family we all will be leaving and there nothing kawwney can do about it ... or if he able to prove himself as worthy mate to my daughter we will be make sure she finds a good mate"
neytiri " same goes for you older ones as well find a good mate while we are here, as we will need to make a clan stronger and big"
older kids " yes mom" there more words had been spoken but mo'at had felt something was calling her and feeling. that was all leading towards you. Tomorrow she will have some words with you and telling you about what has been spoken about you, she wanted to help she and caught up for lost time. There are surprises coming for you family and clan, when they see your life was not living alone as they thought as you had a family here already and new life as well.

Hi!!! How are you? Could I ask for a Lo'ak x fem!reader (That used to be human but she bonded with her avatar so now she's a navi, like jake) with an already established relationship. Where she teaches him what a pinkie promise is? Basically showing him his "demon blood" allows him to do things other Na'vi can't and he shouldn't be insecure for who he is
Thank you!
This request is so creative and so heartwarming! Thank you so much for sending it in! I LOVE IT <3 i added a backstory for how she got an avatar using the plot from the first part of the movie! i hope you enjoy reading!Â
The Pinky Promise
pairing: lo'ak x female avatar reader (formally human and now na'vi)
summary: you comfort loâak at the tree of souls after one of the warriors tells him he has freak hands
genre: angst, fluff
warnings: suggestive language, bullying
word count: 2,631
Earth was dying and the only way to save humanity was relocation. The reinvention of the avatar program was exclusive and while many believed that creating more avatars would benefit the mission as a whole, it was decided that you, as General Ardmoreâs most admired lieutenant, would take on the task of gathering intel on the Omaticaya.
Back on earth, you had worked hard to get to where you were in General Ardmoreâs troops. You were the youngest, but you were easily the most capable, strategic, and willing. You had the attitude of a Marine.Â
No fear.
You always found it easy to separate your emotions from your work, but once you entered into the forest, something inside you had stirred and somehow you knew you would never be the same. The forest felt like it was calling you, every branch, every tree, every bush, and even the dirt on the ground seemed to feel alive. But nothing made you feel more alive than when you encountered Loâak. He was the one who saved you from a thanator, pulling you out of a tree trunk you were hiding in and leading you away from danger. And at first, he was your savior.
But the minute you had fled to safety, he instantly tried to kill you, questioning where you had come from and why you had five fingers like him. In truth, he could have let the thanator kill you, but then he saw your hands. He told himself that he was only curious about you, but he noticed more than just your hands at first glance. You were undeniably pretty and even the way you walked in the forest felt like a force to be reckoned with.
From there, you tried your best to keep your focus on the mission, but Loâak had grown on you. His family had grown on you. And when you told the truth about why you had come, you were met with anger and hurt from the Sullys.Â
Jake was the one who wanted to send you away, his expression fierce as you stood vulnerable in front of the clan. Even with everyone looking at you with disdain, you apologized over and over, your eyes pleading as you looked at Loâak, explaining how it was him who had changed you, how falling in love with him changed everything. And suddenly, Jake saw himself in you, how he must have looked to the Omaticaya all those years ago and how he could never turn back the clock to save Hometree and to save Neytiriâs father.Â
He was Oloâeyktan, and as the clan leader, he chose to believe you, not willing to repeat the same mistakes as before. But, he also warned you that any misstep after this could never be forgiven. You never gave Jake any reason to doubt you ever again.
You had become the devilâs advocate for as long as you could manage, gathering intel for Jake about Ardmoreâs operations until she finally figured you out. Despite your high status to her, she didnât hesitate trying to kill you, but she also seemed to underestimate you too. You faced her in human form, your body taking on a fatal wound.
Yet one thing she failed to know was a truth that Eywa could easily grant.
For when one life ends, another begins.
~
Trouble. That was all you seemed to be in the past few days.Â
But, you werenât alone, Loâak always beside you and always willing to go along with your crazy schemes. Yet, most of the time, it was him who had the crazier schemes, reckless schemes that sometimes led to brushes with death and most definitely led to danger.
You didnât mind though. It was nothing you couldnât handle. You both were similar in the way that you were. You had no fear, invigorated whenever you were with Loâak, the need to protect each other intensely existent with every risk that you took. You had a string of shenanigans behind you, all done for the good of the people, but Jake, although secretly appreciative, had enough of you and Loâakâs adventures, forcing you to stay at high camp. There was no use in arguing about it, the two of you reluctantly watching as Neteyam, Jake, and Neytiri took off on their ikrans to patrol the area.
When they had vanished out of sight, Loâak groaned in annoyance, turning to you, âWe should be out there with them.â
âWe were out there Loâak, for hours. We just...blew up some machinery without permission.â Loâak groaned again, the word âpermissionâ making him want to throw himself off the base of the cave, âJust try to understand your dad. He cares about you. I care about you, so just suck it up and let this pass. â You replied, snaking your arm around his waist.
Your touch sent goosebumps down his skin and he gave you a half-smile, trying not to be swayed by how close your bodies were, but ultimately failing as he wrapped his arms around you.Â
Taking a hand and gently pushing your hair behind your ear, he answered, âFine, fine. Iâll let it go. For now.âÂ
You smiled at him, the corners of your eyes crinkling as you grabbed his neck, pulling him in for a kiss, which he happily accepted. Pulling away, he bit his lip, his eyes fiending for more, but you shook your head.
âWe should make ourselves useful while weâre here.â You said with cheery eyes, grabbing his hand, but he pulled you into him again, your back against his chest.
âOr I could just be useful to youâŚaloneâ He cooed, his lips gracing your ear as he spoke and his hand trailing your chest.
You turned to look at him, rolling your eyes, âWeâve only been back for ten minutes and thatâs what you want to do?â
He merely shrugged, his eyes suggestive, but you quieted his urges when you pushed away from him, your hands on your hips as you faced him again, âLetâs sharpen some arrows, clean up for a bit, and then I am all yours.â
His whole demeanor deflated as you stood there resolute, not even responding to his adorable pout. âI mean, Loâak if you really donât want to help me you can be usefulâŚby yourself.â
âY/n, come on. We can sharpen arrows later.â He whined, putting his hands together as he begged, still wearing that irresistible pout on his face.
âYou are so annoying when youâre like this, you know that?â You crossed your arms, irritated at his insistence.
He gasped instantly, âIâm annoying for wanting to love the most beautiful woman to ever exist? How is that annoying? Itâs pretty charming if you ask me.â
âHmm, I guess I wonât ask you then.â You let out nonchalantly, walking away without another word, smirking as you faced away from him.
It was a regular routine to tease one another like this and you knew you had won when the sound of his nearing footsteps became louder. âFine, y/n. I guess Iâll just be deprived of your love for a little longer.â He sighed, taking his place beside you.
âSo dramatic.â You whispered under your breath. He definitely heard you, but you distracted him with a kiss on the cheek.
~
The warriors were all seated on the floor, their dull arrows laid out in front of him as they meticulously sharpened each one. You sat with them, Loâak taking his place beside you, the two of you greeting everyone warmly. During the time you spent in the forest, after becoming a Naâvi, they had become your friends, comrades you trusted going into missions with and beating in sparring matches practically every time. You were all laughing amongst yourselves, teasing one another.Â
âWell at least I can fly my ikran straight, unlike y/n.â One of your friends chided, snickering as you pushed him away with your hand.
âAh, well at least I can aim straight. I seem to recall you missing the target more than once during our target practice last week.â You spat back, the comment making Loâak laugh just a little too hard.
They were all harmless, meaningless jokes, but it seemed you had taken it too far, your friendâs cheeks reddening with embarrassment.Â
Flustered, he laughed weakly, âYeah, well at least I donât have freak hands like you and Loâak.â
It didnât bother you at all, you had already endured the harshest ridicule when you faced the entire clan. Nothing seemed to faze you about how you were different. It was something you could never change. You had embraced your life with Loâak, but you still looked fondly at the memories you had when you were a human.Â
You laughed, pushing him playfully, but Loâak was not so easily dismissive, getting up and gritting his teeth, the arrow he was working on landing dangerously close to your friendâs leg.Â
He balled his fists, scoffing âIf you have a problem with my hands, why donât you come over here and find out what it feels like to get punched by them.â
Instantly, your friend took the challenge, but you stepped between them even quicker, your hand firmly placed on Loâakâs chest. You gave the two a warning look before you pushed Loâak back. Huffing in frustration, he threw his hands in the air, stomping to his ikran and flying off.Â
You followed after him quickly, mounting your own ikran. Speeding up, you caught up to him. And for a while, the two of you rode your ikrans, the strong wind beneath you and all around you as you continued past the Hallelujah Mountains and toward the Tree of Souls. When you finally landed, Loâakâs anger had calmed, his head downcast as you both sat at the base of the tree.Â
Scooting yourself closer to him, you took his hand, but he pushed you away. âLoâak, whatâs wrong?â
Avoiding your eyes, he spoke, the words coming out of his mouth too vulnerable for him to face you fully, âMy freak hands. My demon blood. Everything! My dad is Toruk Macto. He earned his place to be with the people. You helped my dad defeat that general, so you earned your place too. But me? What have I done?âÂ
He stopped, shaking slightly and catching his breath. It was as if what he had just said had always been lodged in his throat, and its sudden spillage formed bile in the pits of his stomach, churning in his insides as his heart violently palpitated with anxiousness.
You took in everything he had said, silence enveloping the two of you comfortably as the Treeâs strands swayed calmly around you. Taking his cheek into your hand, you looked into his eyes for the first time. They were starting to turn a slight red as he fought back tears in his eyes, but the minute your eyes met his, they finally began to fall.
Your expression was loving as you smiled softly at him, âI am proud of you for all that you have done, and you have done more than you think. You are as much a Naâvi as anyone else here. Donât listen to them. Theyâre ignorant. They donât know that our freak hands are capable of many things that they canât do.â
He tilted his head at you, âLike what?â His tone was unbelieving, but his heart and mind felt otherwise, trusting your affectionate honesty.
Taking hold of his hand, you lifted it up, hooking your pinky around his. He looked down, watching your every move, his gaze going from you to your now intertwined hands. His expression was still unsure, confused as he raised his eyebrows at you.
You laughed at his reaction, and hearing your laugh lifted his spirits, the tension in his muscles relaxing in reaction to your cheerfulness.
You blanketed your other hand over the back of his, grinning, âItâs a pinky promise.â Loâak looked at you with even more confusion, but you continued on, âPromises are flimsy. Theyâre easily betrayed, but a pinky promise? It can never be broken.â
Maintaining your gaze on Loâak, his eyebrows knit together as he began to understand and a small smile slowly tugged at his lips. You caught it instantly, your heart slowly lifting its pressure of concern.
You placed your hand back on his cheek, the touch igniting the coldness of his skin, the anger and frustration he held inside dissipating as you rubbed your thumb gently across his cheek.
âI see you. And I promise that everything you are and everything you will be, freak hands and all, will never change that. This pinky promise, itâs ours. And no one can take that away from you. Itâs something that the other people canât do.â
His small smile became a big grin, tightening his pinky around yours and blanketing his hand over the one you put on his cheek, âThen I have a promise to make to you too.â
âReally?â The lighthearted air around the two of you returning, the Tree seemingly sensing it as its calm sway turned into a dance brought on by the gentle wind that found its way to where you were.
âYes, really.â Your heart melted at the way he was looking at you, like you were the only one that mattered in the world, the rest of what was around you falling away as your fingers were still entwined, enhancing the bond you already shared with one another.
âI promise to annoy you forever.â Although his tone was lighthearted, the weight of his words were sincere, his eyes dripping in affection for you as you let out another boisterous laugh, the sound of it like honey as it came out of you.
âGood. Cause that seems to be your favorite thing to do lately.â You joked, the wind howling with you as you let out another laugh.
He spoke again, taking in your appearance as he let go of your pinky and took hold of your waist, closing the gap between the two of you, âWell, there are other things I can do, now that weâre alone.â His eyes glinting again with the same suggestiveness from earlier.
You raised an eyebrow, amused, âOh really?â
âYou said after we sharpened arrows that you were all mine, remember?â
You didnât protest any further, simply nodding, âYes, and now that weâre here, what exactly do you want to do?â
Loâak shrugged his shoulders, lifting a hand from your waist, âYou know, youâre right. There are a lot of things that my freak hands can do.â
You smacked him on the shoulder, gasping, âLoâak!â
He instantly winced, but he was snickering, his playful smirk still painted on his face, âIâm sorry. I couldnât resist.â
You sighed, âJust come here you idiot,â Taking the back of his neck into your hands, you pulled him in, connecting your lips with a passionate kiss that started to grow in intensity.
But then a realization hit you, making you pull away, much to Loâakâs disappointment, âWe werenât supposed to leave camp.â
You got up quickly, walking over to your ikran, making the bond and waiting for Loâak, who was slowly trudging over.
âHurry up!â You yelled, but he didnât walk any faster.
Finally making his way to you, his head tilted upward to look at you on your ikran, a disappointed sigh coming out of his mouth, âPlease donât make me sharpen arrows or clean or do anything else when we get back.â
You leaned forward, placing your hand in front of him, your pinky out, âI promise.â
Hooking his pinky with yours, his face lit up, the corners of his mouth tilting upward as a satisfied smile overtook him. It was all he needed to hear.

đł እ WANNA C U GIRL
aonung x navi! reader oneshot
summary :: Aonung misses you dearly to the point where he starts getting into more trouble. Will you come back and be his saving grace?
author's note :: honestly this is my first Aonung fic so I'm sorry if it's bad. 2.2k Words. Use of she/her pronouns
"Of course the aliens had to ruin it." Aonung snarled with a fish spear in his dominant hand. Aonung was known to be quite rude at times but today he was even more rude, especially to the young sully boys.
"Aonung stop, they are just learning!" Tsireya shoved her brother softly, only hard enough that he stumbled back in the water. All of them were on the shore with fishing gear. Aonung and Tsireya were tasked to help the newcomers with hunting in the Metkayina ways, much to Aonung's dismay.
Of course only being new to this type of fishing they did not do well. Them missing mostly every shot would normally make Aonung burst into a comedic laughter but not this time. Instead it turned into boiling anger. By the time Lo'ak missed his 7th fish in a row Aonung had enough of fishing and told everyone to just go back to shore.
He rolled his eyes at his sister's kind behavior towards them. Tsireya saw this and snickered before turning to the sully boys. "Do not mind him, he's just grumpy because y/n isn't around" Lo'ak and Neteyam looked at eachother, they have heard about this certain Navi before, mostly from Aonung.
They knew very little but just assumed she was a special person to him. And they were right.
Aonung scoffed in annoyance and walked away from the group, towards his own little marui. Of course he missed you, considering he didn't deny it.
You left to go help another clan in their time of need almost a week ago. You were a good warrior and an even better healer so you were chosen by Tonowari to go and help the neighboring tribe that had gotten attacked by the sky people.
"Aonung I'll be fine." You said as he was behind you, attaching your necklace that happened to be a gift from him. "I'm still not sure. I mean what if the sky people come back and ambush you guys"
You rolled your eyes, you knew he was just concerned but you were still a strong warrior nonetheless. "I promise you I'll return perfectly fine."
You reassured him but only got a hum in return. You were waiting for Aonung to say something but instead you felt his breath on your neck causing the hairs to stand up. Aonung stayed like this for a while before wrapping his arms around your waist from behind and resting his head in the crook of your neck.
"Promise?"
"Promise."
Aonung laid down on his hammock, swaying side to side trying to keep his mind blank from the thought of you. You alone tend to fill up his thoughts and dreams, he didn't mind though.
With a groan Aonung shifted from position to position, trying to find a more comfortable way to lay down. Soon enough he settled on laying on his side, back facing the marui opening. He closed his eyes tired from the day filled with anger and yelling.
Aonung felt himself slowly drifting into the blank void called sleep.
Waves clashed against the sea shore as the daylight slowly started to fade into navy blue. You looked up from your half weaved armband, seeing the stars that filled the night sky. Suddenly you remembered Aonung.
âMy mom would take me here to go stargazing as a kid, it was only me, Tsireya wasn't born yet.â
He told you this the day you two went to that special spot on top of a small island so you could watch as the stars slowly moved and twinkled. Oh how you missed Aonung.
As the days went by it slowly turned into weeks. You were in this tribe for 3 weeks, helping them get on their feet again. You healed the wounded and hunted in place for the warriors who got too injured.
You counted the days as they went by, each day was a day closer to going back home. The people here were kind but you missed talking or more likely gossiping to Tsireya, you missed playing with the Metkayina kids, but most importantly you missed Aonung.
With a sigh you finally got out of your marui to go collect herbs since you were running low on them. You said hello to a few people on the way and smiled at the kids who waved at you.
You picked your herbs in a small farm that the locals made. Luckily the sky people didn't ruin this part of the small island because without it the people wouldn't have ointment to treat their wounded or medicine for the people who fell ill.
You filled up your basket and gently placed it against your hip so you could walk back to the healing tent.
Your walk back got interrupted by a deep voice. "Y/n" You jumped, dropping some plants from the basket. You picked them up then turned around only to see the chief, Tonowari.
You quickly bowed your head and reached your arm up to your forehead to sign a formal.
âI see youâ
Tonowari smiled at the gesture before talking. "Today you and the others are going home, I have decided to end things early since the people here seem like they can fend for their own now." Tonowari waved his stick around motioning for you to look at the people.
"Go, pack your stuff, we leave once the sun sets." And with that Tonowari turned and walked away leaving you there with the basket filled with multiple healing herbs.
You looked down and smiled before running back to your marui that the Tsahik of this clan built for you as your temporary home. You were finally going to see Aonung again.
"I'm disappointed in you Aonung." Ronal circled around the young navi that had purple bruises forming on his face. Just like yesterday, Aonung had gotten into another fight with a Metkayina boy.
"Go before I pluck your eyes out!" Ronal hissed and pointed to the Marui exit.
Aonung quickly got up from his kneeling position and hurried out with his head hanging low and tail in-between his legs. He was embarrassed, he had made a fool out of himself, at first he felt pride after winning the fight but it all went downhill once a familiar voice shouted his name. His mother.
Other Navi stared silently at Aonung's sulking frame. Ronal's yells of frustration were loud enough for people to hear. His ears pinned back in shame, all his pride was washed away by now after he felt the eyes all over him.
He scrunched his nose and finally looked up. "What are you looking at?" Aonung said with venom in his voice, it wasn't specifically to a certain person but rather everyone who acknowledged his presence. All of the other Navi quickly looked away and went to the previous task they were doing before the whole thing occurred.
Aonung grumbled and kicked the sand underneath him before continuing to walk towards his Marui. He wished nothing but to sleep the pain away even.
The sun was slowly setting as Aonung finally arrived. He didn't go inside but instead sat on the edge, dangling his feet in the lukewarm water. The water in the reef was a beautiful clear blue.
It was so clear that you can see the fish and ilu swimming around the different coral, sometimes going into the seaweed. If you were lucky you'd see a baby ilu with its mother.
Aonung stayed like this, staring into the water with his hands resting on his lap. He was never a quiet person but today he needed it more than ever.
His peace was disturbed by a loud horn made by a shell. The shell was used to warn the clan of someone's arrival. He peered out, squinting so he could get a better look at whoever was about to step onto the shore.
âAre they back?
He got excited for a second thinking that you were finally back from your mission.
His eyes scanned the area very carefully, he even double checked just to make sure he didn't miss you by accident. He was left with disappointment. You were nowhere in the crowd.
âOh right they don't come back until next week.â
The moment you stepped off of your ilu you begin to search around the crowd of cheering and welcoming Navi for a specific person. You were left confused when you found nothing, it was like everyone was there except him.
âYou better be here waiting with a basket filled with delicious food once I come backâ You teased Aonung, poking his chest as you were getting ready to start your journey to the other island.
âUgh you wishâ Aonung softly pushed you causing a laugh to come out of your mouth.
"Y/n!"
You turned around to find Tsireya walking towards you with open arms. You two hugged before pulling back once you saw unfamiliar faces behind her. Tsireya glanced over her shoulder and gasped, making you even more confused.
"Oh right!" Tsireya took a hold of your hand and guided you towards them.
"Y/n this is Lo'ak and Neteyam, their family has come here seeking uturu."
âuturu?â You thought. You heard about other clan members coming to a whole new one to seek peace and to live with them but you never actually witnessed it until now. You watched as they signed
âi see youâ
towards you. You replied with a smile, doing the gesture back.
"We have heard lots about you." The taller one said which you believe was Neteyam. You raised your eyebrows at his words and turned towards Tsireya seeking for an answer which she thankfully gave. "They mean Aonung, you know he can't keep his big mouth shut." Tsireya nudged your shoulder in a teasing way as you giggled thinking about it.
"Speaking about Aonung, where is he?â
Tsireya went silent, her mouth forming a straight line. She slowly pointed to the direction of his Marui. "Beware y/n he isn't in the best mood right now."
You nodded and quickly headed in the direction she was pointing at. Your tail was swaying anxiously. Was he perhaps mad at you?
By the time you reached his tent you froze, debating if you should enter or not. You didn't wanna face him if he was mad at you, you were scared. You wouldn't know what to say. You were so lost in thought that you didn't even see the taller figure walking towards you.
"Y/n?"
You snapped out of your trance and saw Aonung leaning against one of the support poles that keeps his Marui standing. He had cuts and bruises all over his face and body.
His knuckles were red and wounded, it seemed like he got into a fight. You covered your mouth with your hand as you stepped closer to him. "Oh Aonung" You whispered while inspecting his body closer
Once you were done looking you grabbed his hand and led him inside. You made him sit down in the far corner of the room that had medical supplies stacked up against the wall.
"When I said I promised to stay safe I meant you should too." You grabbed ointment from one of the pouches and then sat down on his lap facing him.
Aonung stayed silent watching you apply it on his knuckles until he finally spoke up. "I know."
You were the one who was silent now, you kept your questions to yourself deciding that you'd ask them another time and that you should just focus on treating his wounds.
You wrapped his hand with bandages and moved on to applying a herb that specializes in reducing swelling on his busted lip and bruised up eye. You felt his eyes staring at you, watching your every move. You tried your best to ignore it so you wouldn't get flustered and mess up on properly dressing his wounds.
Aonung kept his eyes locked onto yours as you gently tapped his lips to apply the ointment. "Please Aonung, be careful next time." You begged him. Of course you never liked it when he got into fights but at this point Aonung isn't really Aonung unless he comes to you seeking for your medical health every one in awhile.
"I was fighting for you."
"What?"
"I fought them because they were talking bad about you." Aonung watched carefully, seeing how you stopped your movements and dropped your arms to your side. He took this as his cue to continue. "They were saying how you were weird and didn't belong amongst the other girls. I couldn't just stand there and hear all of this without doing anything about it."
Of course you were upset finding out that people who you probably never even talked to had your name in their mouths, but you felt some sort of comfort knowing that Aonung stepped in for the sake of you. "My love it is okay their words won't affect me." You brushed away one of his loose locks that must've fallen from his braids.
"No it is not-"
You shushed him with a kiss on the lips that he was quick to return. "It's fine, I promise." Aonung stayed silent, continuing to stare in your eyes lovingly.
His eyebrows raised when you got up from his lap, holding his hand signaling for you to follow him. He obeyed and got up to which you started to drag him out of the Marui.
"Where are we going?"
You sarcastically gasped to tease him. "Don't you trust me?"
Aonung rolled his eyes before rushing to walk by your side so you wouldn't be dragging him behind you. You smiled and looked at him. "Come I have made something for you my love."

Wanna ride this naughty boy-Day 25 Lo'ak Sully
Prompt: Loak is naughty, so wanna ride him?
Pairing: Loak Sully x Fem!Avatar!Reader
Word Count: 950
Warnings: PiV sex, Cowgirl, riding, Nipple play, groaning and moaning, begging, soft!dom!reader, sub!LoakâŚ
You were picking Berries in the forest for tonightâs annual dinner celebrating Toruk Makto and the end of fighting the sky people.
One of your best friends was The leaders son, Loak Sully.
Many people respected him here as he was the son of Jake Sully.
He was your favorite person in the whole world! He was always by your side and always complimented you.
You guys were inseparable and got along easily. Nothing ever tore you guys apart.
That's what Loak always thought when he tried to confess his feelings to you.
But it could never come out of his mouth, so instead of telling you, he'll show you.
The night was here and You and Loak were together as per usual with Neteyam and another girl.
"Yea and then I did this really cool flip off my Ikran." Loak boasts. You watched as Loak boasted and bragged to this girl and you had to endure her lovey dovey eyes towards him.
Ugh it made you absolutely sick. Neteyam watched as you stared her down with such jelousy.
"You ok?" He asks. His soft soothing voice bringing you out of your death stare trance.
"Hmm? Oh yea, I'm fine Teyam." You respond with a smile on your features.
Around the time you were smiling was the time Loak decided to look over.
Seeing you laugh and smile with his brother was a little heartbreaking.
He knew Neteyam was better than him and women always swooned over him because he was the oldest.
"Can we put a pin in this? I'll catch you later." He infact was not going to be talking to her again because tonight was the night he would confess.
"Can I talk to you? Meet me at the Tree of Voices in 5 minutes." He says hurriedly before rushing off deep into the forest.
The booming of Navi music far behind him as he sprints and makes his way towards the Tree.
You part ways with Neteyam and make your way towards the Tree to go meet Loak.
When you see his figure pacing back and forth under the tree you let out a tiny giggle.
His ears twitch at the sound of your laughter and he looks around for you.
When you emerge from the shadows he smiles so wide and brightly. "Hey." He says.
"Hey. What's up?" You ask curious as to why he brought you here. He fiddles with his fingers again and paces.
"Loak, you can calm down. It's just me." You say comfortingly.
"Yea, and that's the problem. It's you so I feel like I can't say it. Can't confess it." He mumbles.
Your eyebrows furrowed together and you looked saddened. "Loak, what's going on? You can tell me, I won't judge or hurt you! That's a promise. I swear on eywa."
He takes in a deep breath before walking up to you and holding your hand.
"I-I like you... no scratch that... I love you. I'm in love with you. Your my bestfriend and I was so scared to tell you because I assumed our friendship would be ruined. But if you like Neteyam than that's coo-"
He's interrupted by the feeling of your soft lips on his. He grabs your neck like a desperate schoolboy.
You push him down to the ground and straddle his waist. His glossy eyes tracing your glowing figure on top of him.
"You've been naughty Loak. Talking to other girls in front of me. Now I'm gonna be in control baby."
He whines. He seriously whined! You were so in control now. You untie his loincloth and pull it off.
You begin untying your top and loincloth as well. You feel Loak's precum dripping on your fingers making them all sticky.
You keep eye contact as you lick the precum off your fingers. You grab his cock and tease it in your entrance.
You soon slide down onto him when he squirms and writhes under you. You chuckle and it turns into a breathy moan.
"Oh s-shit." He whimpers. You fully slide down on him until his pelvis is flush with yours.
You moan at the feeling of pain and pleasure. 'He's so big' you thought. You proceed to rock your hips back and forth.
Loak's hands instantly shoot to your hips, groaning and moaning at the pleasurable feeling.
You begin bouncing on him when you've finally adjusted to him and Loak goes beserk!
He's not used to feeling this much pleasure. The tightness of your soaking pussy. The onl feeling close to this was his hand.
Loak knows he's not going to last long if you keep bouncing and grinding on him like this.
His grip on you waist gets tighter sure to leave a purple bruise on your blue skin.
"You gonna cum so soon Loak? hm?" You tease bouncing on him faster.
He nods his head furiously and reaches his hands to play and grope your breasts.
Watching them bounce was the best thing to look at. So plump and round.
He pinches and plays with your nipples. You moan feeling your orgasm approaching.
A few more bounces and grinding and it hits you like a wave. You shake and convulse as your orgasm rushes through you.
Your walls clenching his dick make his eyes roll back to his head and triggers his orgasm.
He quickly pulls you off him and jerks himself off. You watch as his cum spurts out of his tip.
You lick up the cum thats on the tip and his stomach. You hum in pleasure and smile at him.
You kiss his lips and lay on his chest. "I love you Loak."
"I love you more."

Tears Of Gold
Neteyam Sully x Human Reader
Prt 1. Prt 2
Summary: he didn't realize his feelings till it was to late and he regrets it ever since
Warning: reader death, asshole neteyam
Yn pov
It felt cold and dark even though there was light, even though I was surrounded by navi and friends I felt desolate, even though I was with family it didn't feel like home nothing ever did.
It was never was the same after we moved to the ocean no one was the same, kiri was more distant, neytiri was more angry while jake was more stricked with us while tuk was the same but she missed home, lo'ak followed tsireya around like a lost puppy and neteyam who acted as if we weren't friends to hang out with his new 'friends'.
I was left by my self most days except the ones where kiri felt guilty i was always alone or when I had to help neytiri with a few things but it was a very rare occasion.
"You forgot me again" I murmured to neteyam as he sat down beside me "oh sorry" he sighed out again before it fell into silence "what happened to u-" I whispered but was interrupted by nyx a navi girl who was one of the best fishers they have and the one who had eyes for neteyam "come on neteyam" she called out sweetly gesturing him over and he left without a goodbye or a look.
All I ever did here was sit around because no one wants to teach a 'demon' how to help or work around the village so all I do is sit in the sand making small shell bracelets and necklaces.
I stared into the water as it rose and descended on the shore watching as shells appeared and disappeared due to the moving sand i sat there waiting, waiting for a sign or something to happen i was frozen in a thoughtless daze staring into the water as the sun sunk behind the horizon, the water was illuminated by the glowing plants underneath the surface it was always a sight to see.
I don't know how long I was stuck there till I felt a presences beside me, he cleared his throat for me to acknowledge him "mom is looking for you" he murmured not taking his eyes off of me "she isn't my mom" I muttered but instantly regretted my words neytiri was nothing but nice to me but I could always feel her eyes burning stare into the back of my scull when I wasn't looking or the silent mutters of 'demon' under her breath it made me feel like a freak.
"Whats wrong" neteyam asked settling beside me, I finally broke "I don't belong here nete" I said glancing between him and the water "I never belonged here" I whispered as tears glossed my eyes neteyam listened not making a sound, he was scared because he didn't know what to do he used to and he feels guilty for letting you feel this way "i-i" he tried to speak but didn't know what to say.
"You were the only one who really felt like family now your a stranger too" I cried as the tears slid down my cheeks, he wanted to wipe them away and tell you that he still loves you but he knows that was a lie he used to but doesn't anymore he loves nyx.
"I wanna go home" I sobbed bringing my knees up to my chest " you are home yn" he whispered laying one of his hands onto my shoulder i let out a dry laugh as I shook my head "this isn't my home it never was" my throat was dry and sore "come on yn don't think like that" he rumbled as he moved in front of me taking my head into his hands using his thumbs to wipe my tears away "how about we hang out tomorrow for the whole day" he murmurs staring into my eyes "ok" he smiled as I answered him "Come on let's go" he smiled helping me up.
[Next day]
I woke up and ate some breakfast before going to find neteyam who was up and about i neared the his usual spot when I heard them and stopped dead in my tracts "why do you hang out with that demon nete" nyx asked harshly and my heart ached I was the only one he let call him nete.
"I feel sorry for her I truly do or I'd just leave her in the dust" he laughed dryly my hand quickly covered my mouth covering up a sob I stumbled back knocking over a few buckets causing them to notice me.
Neteyam looked at me with guilt and opened his mouth to speak but I just shook my head before running, running away and not looking back, I ran down the shore far away from the village.
I only stopped when my legs gave out falling to my knees with a thud I roughly wiped my tears trying to stop crying but I just couldn't "why" I cried "why" I whaled loudly.
I sat for awhile slowly coming down and being thankful no one came after me "I thought you were different neteyam" I cried rocking myself trying to calm down was our whole friendship a lie were those things he was saying really true.
"Yn yn" I heard multiple voices calling out to me in the distance but I didn't want to be found so I got up and started moving away from them.
Neteyam pov
"What the hell is wrong with you" dad yelled at me as we searched along the beach for yn "I don't know" I whispered I felt guilty but I don't know it was because I was caught or that I said those things "ma jake look" mom pointed at the faded human foot prints "let's go" dad yelled as we started running down the beach.
Yn pov
I was climbing on the rocks that aligned the shore maneuvering myself carefully not to fall but it was becoming harder with the tide rising making some rocks wet and dangerous.
"Yn" I turned abruptly on a rock and screamed as my foot got caught in a crack I fell over scraping my knees before wracking my head against the rock damaging my mask "fuck fuck fuck" I cursed trying to cover the crack.
"Yn" neteyam yelled as he ran over to me his eyes widening as he saw the crack that was starting to grow bigger and bigger "fuck yn where is your spare" he asked his hands running over my waist and back trying to find my spare "I don't have one" I said trying to stay calm and not breathe to fast.
"Dad dad over here" he called out but I already started feeling light headed and sick "i-i can't neteyam" I murmured He carefully cradled my body against his "I'm so sorry" he whispered as his eyes filled with tears.
I lifted my hand up to his face gently caressing his face "I love you neteyam" I said weakly as my hand began to fall but he caught it with his own and kept it by his face "no don't do this" he yelled but I only heard it as a whisper.
I closed my eyes sucking in my last breathe
"goodbye".
