breaking my silence but i REALLY hope the qsmp lore and confirmed lore backgrounds of the characters has absolutely nothing to do with the DSMP or Las Nevadas

#apart from how much of a confusing shit show that server was #it just feels really alienating for ppl that never watched or bothered with it #sure u could still enjoy w/o knowing or watching the DSMP #but idk dude #not everyone wants to have to know shit about it in order to fully comprehend/understand qsmp lore #i really hope they remain as separate entities #like the DSMP being a past life is whatever #but to have it integral to the lore seems……..i can’t think of the word but u know what i mean?#also i’m only posting this cus i’m tipsy n cause twitter would eat me alive for this opinion #cus they seem to DESPERATELY want LNV to be canon to the qsmp and f & q to be working together #but that just!!! screams bad story to me idk!!! for the audience qsmp had #why can’t qsmp/the characters exist on its own and have its own lore unrelated to the dsmp #why are so many ppl hellbent on insisting the two are connected
