🌷 Saimiri (Sanwei Songshu Hou) is my LEGO Monkie Kid oc. She is a stone monkey/celestial primate just like Sun Wukong and Six Eared Macaque, except she has 3 tails and has been alive since the Ice Age. She's had 2 significant events in her life that have altered her entirely, this is a reference to the 2 arrows Buddhist saying. She experienced her first arrow (physical pain) when the world was changing from the Ice Age and she lost her entire tribe while the world broke apart. The second arrow (what your mind does) is when she goes on a journey with Princess Qing Yun and Aditi to learn what the meaning of living is.

🌷 She is encased in an iceberg by mystical ice for a very log time until Mei accidentally frees her using the Samadhi Fire. She then meets MK and becomes his 3rd mentor to teach him about the importance of empathy, emotional intelligence, and control over his emotions. She prefers to hang around Sandy more than anyone else in the friend group because she doesn't like much attention and she feels inferior to Monkey King and Macaque since she hasn't done as amazing things as they have. Sandy is also her best friend since they both understand how important mental health is. 

🌷 Her main weapon is a longbow and she summons two arrows by using the stars, she shoots both arrows at once but will also use a double-edged sword for close combat. Her three tails are a reference to the Buddhist saying "Three things cannot be hidden. The Sun, The Moon, and The Truth", this is to say that she is meant to symbolize the truth because she's the third piece to the story between Sun Wukong and Macaque. She knows the truth and she has seen all sides to the story, the truth cannot be hidden and she knows it's inevitable until everyone knows her truth.

Added Songshu into @kefi-catfish’s Tribute AU! She’s the goddess/deity over fertility and wisdom, similar to Athena and Persephone

Sun Wukong and Songshu briefly had an affair after Mihou’s death, as they were both grieving and wanted the company. It wasn’t long after that when Songshu left for Greece in the middle of the night one day.

╰⪼ Saimiri and Wukong's dynamic is like when 2 people with ADHD get excited and constantly talk over each other while rambling on and on.

╰⪼ At times, they can both be very serious and caring. Saimiri is a nurturing person and she makes a plan for every possible outcome. Even when Wukong disagrees with her or things seen tense, Saimiri doesn't butt-heads with him and instead she's patient and tries to calmly talks things out (he does get on her nerve though, think of her like a exhausted older sister with a toddler brother.)

「 ✦ Six Eared Macaque ✦ 」

╰⪼ Listens/Ramble type dynamic. Saimiri greatly admires Macaque and she loves talking his ears off. She has a faster-than-light speed ability and she often uses this to sneak up on him to spook him, sometimes it works and other times he hears her giggling before her heartbeat.

╰⪼ She's met Macaque before but it was after the Brotherhood disbanded and Wukong was trapped for 500 years. She stayed on Flower Fruit Mountain for a while before Macaque suddenly disappeared.

「 ✦ Sandy ✦ 」

╰┈➤ Romantic

╰⪼ Saimiri develops feelings for Sandy over time. She sees his compassion and empathy for other people and sees how he's often in the background, with no one to really see him. Her dynamic with him is overwhelmingly wholesome, like two people who just can't stop complimenting each other and are constantly gushing to their friends about each other.

「 ✦ MK ✦ 」

╰┈➤ Platonic Teacher/Student

╰⪼ She becomes MK's 3rd mentor and teaches him how to control his emotions and fully think things through, she even helps him see that at times you need to look at things from a 3rd perspective and try to see the full story rather than from just one person's side.

╰⪼ She's nurturing in a Mom/Auntie way. She deeply cares for MK and feels like a overbearing mother sometimes.

「 ✦ Mei ✦ 」

╰┈➤ Platonic Teacher/Student

╰⪼ She decided to take Mei in as a student as well because she worried that Mei and MK's story would turn out like Wukong's and Macaque's. She also wanted Mei to learn how to use the Samadhi Fire instead of letting it just sit there and go to waste.

╰⪼ Mei is also the one who freed Saimiri from the mystical iceberg using the Samadhi Fire. It wasn't on purpose and happens after S5.
