you'd managed to dye your daughters frosting pink, and she's jumping up and down on her tippy-toes when she sees him, grinning so hard the tendons in her neck are straining. she'd wanted to build and decorate her own gingerbread house this year, but so far she's spent the last twenty minutes being very particular about only the first wall.

"daddy!" she leans her head all the way back when he puts his hand on her face, giggling beneath his palm with her little squished nose. "look at mine, look at mine!"

your wobbly son jumps up in his own chair, using the table as leverage to balance himself as he lets out a squeal of gibberish that vaugely sounds like an echo of what his sister is saying. at the excited pitch in his voice, her head whips around, free from katsuki's grip as her brows furrow.

"he's not even decorating anything," she protests—and she's not wrong; whatever your little boy is doing hardly classifies as 'decorating', and is more like 'eating all the frosting he can before getting caught'. there is a mess of sugar dried all around his mouth.

still, your son squeals in his chair, jumping up and down with even more energy when you place a hand on his butt, in case he slips. the promise of you only encourages him, and katsuki reaches across the table to snatch him up when he tries to get his little knee up on the surface.

your daughter's frown grows; sharing attention remains a soft spot for her. instead of saying anything, she only makes an annoyed little sound and presses her cheek into her dad's hip.

"stuff's gonna give you cavities," katsuki murmurs, though he picks up a few red and green candies and shares them with your already sugary boy—who hums happily. "need a toothbrush for christmas."

"no," your daughter pulls back and tugs on his belt loops, sneering up at him playfully when he pinches her nose. "you have cavities!"

katsuki makes a point to bare his teeth at her, and then presses his forehead to his son and does the same until they're both giggling. "ain't me, bighead,"

"you're a bighead!"

"yeah, 'n i am big, so what's your excuse?" a wicked little grin splits his face when she starts swinging on him, and he deposits your son into your lap before scooping her up off her feet, her girlish scream vibrant and happy in the space around you.

katsuki waits until she calms down a bit, holding her to his chest like a baby, before coming around the table to get a good look at her little pink masterpiece. he presses his mouth into her hair, like he does with you, and her little ruby eyes sparkle when he murmurs, "looks good, kid,"—just to her and only to her.

ok I've definitely seen people talk about this before, but I wanted to take the time to point out the AMAZING representation in this show

Obviously, we got a great taste of it with Raine, starting pretty early in the show, but these last 3 episodes really dove into the kind of representation I LOVE to see

firstly the titan obviously, I am a forever supporter of the "omnipotent, all-powerful being that casually uses all pronouns/is bigender/is intersex" so this was an amazing touch, and luz completely understood and didn't mention it again because it doesn't need mentioning and holy shit-

ANYWAY, also the collector??? king casually dropping the they/them pronouns really shows how fucking easy it is to vary pronouns??? yess let the collector be a he/they in peace <33

Honestly I love how casual and open this show has been about representation. When Amity told her dad about her relationship it wasn't "I'm in a relationship with a girl" it was "i bet you didn't even know I was dating luz." to which alador is completely cool about, as it should be. When raine and eda meet, they don't even discuss pronouns or anything like that. it's assumed that raine tells her about it, and she instantly accepts and adapts to it when she learns about it. (unless I'm forgetting something, these episodes were a while ago lmaooo) When Willow's dads are introduced, they are introduced like any other parents would be, background parents that are supportive of their daughter.

This show was incredible. It explored things that a lot of other shows haven't been able to accomplish, and the representation it started was casual and open and didn't distract from the plot of the show. That's what I loved so much about it, there was a plot to follow, and the characters identities were just a part of developing that plot, their identities were not the plot itself

Alright, I loved this episode, especially the second half. The first half was a little slow and I was wondering if it would be able to match up to the last episode and alas it did.

The two hot women fighting bad guys, what more can you ask for. The ultimate dream. Angel, angel, angel, you deserve whatever Drusilla does/do to you. You've literally ruined everything for her, I am sorry but I am on her side. I mean buffy saved you because she loves you but like you would've deserved to die by her hands.

IM SOO GLAD YOU ASKED!!! Didn't get to answer this yesterday bc it was Halloween- but let me get some thoughts together!

They're both wearing suits, most definitely. Probably black suits, especially since a black suit would fit Nate SOOOOO WELL.

Rowan would hold a bouquet with hyacinths and roses. Purple hyacinths are my favorite flower, and roses are a symbol of love so it just fits yk? He'd probably have a flower to represent Nate in there too, but I haven't figured that out yet. Possibly sunflowers because they represent dedication.

Ro isnt a fan of sweet things, so their wedding cake would probably be something like a fruit basket cake or possibly even a cheesecake. Rowan proposed a carrot cake, which Nate vetoed. Otherwise, I don't think Nate would care one way or another and neither does Rowan (as long as it's not too sweet), so they have a pretty difficult time picking lollll

Food wise it'd definitely be something that checks all of the nutrition boxes for Nate- but it'd DEFINITELY include a lot of seafood. Another hc for me is that Nate really enjoys seafood (bc so do I. :3), so rice, seasoned shellfish like muscles or clams and shrimp, possibly even lobster tbh. There's pasta as well for a non-seafood option, and lots of vegetables.

The ceremony would be 100% unplugged! Nate doesn't get rid of his disdain for cellphones, it just gets milder. Or, well, he still doesn't enjoy cellphones and dislikes how reliant people are on them, but he's okay with his boyfriend/husband (depending on when we're talking about :3) AND best friend being always on that damn phone lmaooo

They'd have the ceremony outdoors, and the reception indoors. The ceremony would be in a VERY decorated garden. Preferably shady, and probably with weeping willows :3. I also think they'd say their vows in front of a gazebo.

The reception is indoors because they have it at a restaurant. The restaurant has outdoor seating, so the party is kind of outdoor and indoor just as an option. The whole restaurant is decorated with lights, fabrics, or flowers.

The wedding is in spring, but early spring. The weather is nice enough to wear lighter clothes, but still brisk in the morning and cool at night. Rowan overheats easily, so he prefers it this way (though he still ends up sweating in all those fancy clothes and running around all day.)

When I tell you they're both crying so hard at this wedding. They're crying HARD. Nate can't stop for a while. He cries when things get overwhelming, no matter what emotion it is. And his WEDDING? Oh he's so overwhelmed with happiness he cannot dream to stop. Before they can start the ceremony, Rowan's wiping his tears away to help him re-collect himself (but he's crying too. They both are)

I also want to add that Nate's parents are at the wedding! Though they had and still have a complicated relationship, he's never cut them out of his life. They're still not very close, but as he got older Nate accepted them into his life more and acknowledged how guilty they felt for neglecting him. Even though they can never get that time back, he knows they're trying to make up for it and let's them. They LOVE Rowan. (Though they felt even more guilty finding out their son was gay after he'd already had a boyfriend for a while. But that's another thing)

They would definitely have a honeymoon. Even though Rowan would STILL have to force Nate to relax on it, they'd have one! I don't know where exactly, but I think it'd be somewhere with forests and a lot of flora. Possibly surrounded by beautiful trees and natural water like rivers. Some sort of cabin or house they can stay in, and just have a week or so to themselves. Little to no contact, just get away from everything. Be alone together. Nate very much enjoys this! As hes "unfortunately" been forced to relax by his lover before, and his now HUSBAND will not give up until he lets himself enjoy their honeymoon. Not worried about the outside world, just each other and appreciating each other.

Before, during, and after their wedding they're both sooo mushy. Just lovely. Everyone else should be THANKFUL they're not contacting anyone else because they'd be simply sickening. Even moreso than in high school because Nate can actually chill out enough for more affection (Rowan sometimes kisses his cheek as a greeting or goodbye! In PUBLIC! and Nate doesn't care!!!)

🍭why did you start writing?

Ahh…this one is going to be a little sad/sentimental but I believe sharing pieces of our heart always comes back to us twice fold so! Here we go!

Ive always been writing but what really brought me to taking the jump to start posting fic again is because i had been feeling so sad honestly…

I had just finished my masters program and felt so lost not knowing what to do. I remember thinking I had to just get back to writing. It’s always been there for me and I wanted to write, I wanted to connect. I wanted to keep feeling like I could create something, that I could still feel like myself in any words I wrote

Funny enough, waaaay back when I used to write and post fic here i ended up deleting most of those old fics bcs I felt so sad at how little to no attention they got

But when I decided to come back to writing again this time around I felt sadder if I didn’t write and even if no one read a thing, knowing I finally wrote something again was enough to push me to come back
