I love the fact for the Directors commentary for Across the spider-verse, they compare Miles to Lloyd Dobler from Say Anything during the Bank tower scene. It’s validating that it confirms there’s romantic feelings there, but it’s also really sweet because Lloyd Dobler is a guy that should be protected at all costs too. And you really see it too how Miles interacts with Gwen in this scene.
