This man, the author of The Daddy Complex, is not an authority on raising children. He is not someone who has studied for years to help parents. If any parent continuously tells themselves they do not know what they are doing, then they might not.

Tumblr user Ik737 stating the fucking obvious and demonstrating her shortcomings as a "family therapist" by judging me based on a single post about my weakest parenting moment. Yay, Internet!

Interesting theories on God, the Bible, forgiveness and heaven/hell. The point is, however, that none of us know the full truth of what constitutes as grace and mercy. God's grace and mercy are unfathomable, and unknowable. That is why we have "Judge not lest ye be judged" and "Treat others as I would treat you" as two main known rules of the Bible. We cannot know who goes to heaven and hell. Even therapists cannot fully correctly judge who is and who isn't redeemable in prison.

And "Love the Lord your God with all your Heart". The two main rules would actually be considered to be that and "Love your neighbour as yourself". Those two up there, or at least as I have been taught, come just after.

But yes, exactly. Which is why I am so against people going round telling people what's going to get them in to heaven/hell. As stated earlier, I have my ideas on what each consists of, but I do not assume I am correct and therefore judge others on it. What I said earlier was merely myself stating my own beliefs, not judging anyone else. As said, I do not believe to be any kind of authority on the matter and no one should think that I assume to be. Seriously.

Hey there. I saw that you made an appointment with a therapist. I'm a therapist, and I just wanted to say I think it's great you are doing that if you need it. I always tell my clients that if they aren't comfortable with me, they should find the right one. Therapists aren't one size fits all. So I hope you have great results, but if you don't, please don't give up? It is probably the therapist. We are all as different from each other as you are from other clients. Best of luck. *hugs*

I just have the fear that they're going to tell me that I don't need it. That I'm just paranoid and dramatic and that in all actuality I'm perfectly fine. But I don't feel fine, I'm just bad at putting things into words and when I'm there talking to someone I don't know it's hard for me to be completely honest. I tend to smile a lot and try to make it seem like I'm not a creep. 

But thank you for this heartfelt message. It did encourage me, and I'll try to take your advice if this first therapist doesn't work out. Thank you.

Yes, and I understand why fans are disappointed canon won't take the step to making it overt. Rambling my headspace on it--I tend to want to do backflips if they so much as stare at each other or are in the same room, and canon overt expressions of the strong friendship/"profound bond" that exists between them sends me in a state of flailing that is visible from space. So I get why some aren't quite as excited by the M&G sound byte as others, but I've also seem comments along the lines of how people should calm down and I'm not really seeing a down-side here or a reason why the squee over this M&G isn't substantiated.

omg, it was so fun!

Eddie Izzard was awesome, as usual. Elijah Wood was really funny, and the kid who played Jim Hawkins was adorable.

I would definitely recommend it. It's not 100% faithful to the novel, and it's probably not gonna win any awards, but I enjoyed the hell out of it.

the link appeared to be a 404 when i clicked it yesterday. i usually take guaifenesin or nyquil unless i'm able to get the promethazine/codeine. thanks :]
