The challenge is already over but as I wanted to do some more drawings, I completed 2 pages that I started before it ended... My Husband’s Cat

Pumpkin 300# cp Fabriano Artistico may be done. Shes aging right now. The cat masked. I drew the whiskers and the furry hairs on the left w a fine indian ink pen. It can be a bear removing so much masking. Lots of rubbing required. Second pour. I also added some burnt sienna on the left. Biggest decision. A double page spread in my #uskamsterdam2019 sketchbook practicing what I learned in @lizsteelart ‘s great workshop on Dynamic Composition and Storytelling. This was the third workshop I’ve taken with Liz over the last 3 symposiums! I couldn’t resist the topic she was covering this time as I’ve been thinking about composing different sketches with different media and text on my sketchbook’s spreads and I couldn’t wait to hear Liz’s tips on this subject. A big bonus was the amazing goodie bag we got from her sponsor, @carandache that includes so many awesome things like a 12 set of Museum Aquarelles (that I’ve recently fallen for), their new Technalo water soluble colored graphite pencils, and a set of brush lettering markers! It was such a generous set of art supplies! Last night, I received @BryanTheGirl’s book and have been doodling since. My cup of americano coffee made with @cafecc_paris ‘ French Roast is just perfect for a slow (and late) start of the day with a drawing. . I think it’s not too bad for a beginner... just need to practice every day from now on 🤓. @LizSteelArt ‘s tip to draw your cup might just be the best to ensure I draw something each day 😊. .
