Here's my fankid ocs Salina and Liway!
Salina is Pakunoda and Mauve's adopted child while Liway is Acanthus and Feitan's biological child (I don't know if she's going to be in canon because Feitan and Acanthus has a dangerous life, but oh well)
Liway's Chinese name is Li-hua and her hair is dyed. Salina just happened to look like Pakunoda, a living reminder of her legacy.
Salina joined the Spiders eventually while Liway had the privilege to join as well because both her parents are spiders! I'd say Liway eventually joins but has a pretty normal life with Salina before they do.
Yes, they are in love with each other.
(Second image reference below the cut!)

Favorite movies and shows i've watched (and finished) in 2022
TBH, This might be one of the best years for films and shows especially fornthe BIPOC community and i'm glad i've had enough time to consume a lot of media this year. In order-is
Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
This is a cultural reset. I know multiverse concepts are not new, but this is different and might be the best. The concept coincided with the storyline. The title says it all, it is everything, everywhere all at once. Not just one of the best for 2022, but of all time.
2. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022)
Felt it with my heart from start to finish. You can really see that all the cast and crew put their heart and soul on it. No need to recast T'challa because Shuri as the new Black Panther is perfect and it won't erase T'challa and Chadwick's legacy. Amazing production and soundtrack.
3. NOPE (2022)
Jordan Peele did it again. I'm glad i've watched it in the cinema because this is something that would scare more on the big screen. We are not lying when we say that this is a different Alien or UFO story.
4. Abbott Elementary (2021-)
Quinta Brunson is a genius. This sitcom is fresh and this just proves that you can make a funny content without being problematic. A comedy series that tackles relevant issues. We need more of this.
5. A league of their own (2022-)
This might be the best, most diverse and intersectional wlw or queer series so far. This and Orange is the new black. Women, lesbian and black-led. Majority of the cast and characters are queer and they don't only focus on queerness alone, but also their dreams, skills, family and friendship.
6. Wendell and Wild (2022)
One of the best art and animation style i've watched. I like how digestible it is for children. It is fun, enjoyable and doesn't shy away from real issues especially when the specific issue doesn't talked about in art and media, Also, KEY AND PEELE!
7. American Vandal (2017-2018)
This is better than most of the true crime shows on Netflix. They don't glorify the culprit while not boxing the story from a black and white perspective. Very enjoyable.
8. Ang huling cha-cha ni Anita / Anita's last cha-cha (2013)
A coming of age film abput a lesbian girl and her first love or crush. Assuring you that this is not creepy at all. This is very wholesome and reminds me of my own childhood and journey into my lesbian identity. It can be watched on Juanflix (Message me if you are outside Philippines)
9. The school for good and evil (2022)
Not a big fan of fairytale stuff, but this is a very cool concept and i'm a big sucker for great production and costume design. I love the storyline too. It reminds me of Maleficent.
From left to right
10. I, Tonya (2017)
11. King Richard (2022)
12. Liway (2018)
13. Batwoman (2019-2022)
14. Kill Bill: Volume 1 (2003)
15. Paper girls (2022)
16. Dollface (2019-2022)
17. Betty (2020-2021)
18. Inside Job (2022)

( I usually don’t like showing oc to the public, but still I wanted to share this masterpiece )
her name is Liwei, she is Wu's adopted daughter. they met in the forest in which the girl was hiding, seeing the state of the girl, Wu decided to take her to his monastery, where she met Morro. At first, Liway and Morro didn't get along very well, but over time they became friends and had a sibling relationship. When Morro left to prove himself worthy of being the green ninja, Liwei was very upset and was depressed for a very long time because of this.
After a long time, the girl met new students of Wu (Cole, Jay, Zane, Kai) but did not have much contact with them, immersing herself in the study of various books and scrolls, so getting closer to the team took some time. she quickly became close to Nya, due to the fact that she almost always stayed with her in the monastery.
Liwei later met Lloyd, who began living with the ninja,It was surprising for the two of them to learn that they were related, because they knew nothing about each other (during Lloyd's appearance in the first season, Liwei was sent on a journey in search of one thing, when she returned to the monastery, she was asked to find information about serpentines and absorbers). Surprisingly, Lloyd and Liway got along quickly, mostly thanks to the girl who wanted to be friends with her cousin, although Lloyd was not very keen on this at first.
the idea about this oc appeared unexpectedly, so I will tell its story gradually, but for now here is a diagram of Liwei’s relationships with different characters
relationship
Sensei Wu -when she first met him she bared her teeth at Wu, distrusting, but after a few more meetings she gradually became calmer towards him and came to love him like a father. she respects him very much and almost always fulfills his requests, loves to spend time with him over a cup of tea and listen to his stories, there is even a Father-Daughter day where the two of them spend time alone.
Lloyd -She did not immediately have a good relationship with little Lloyd, each time she tried to get closer she received only grimaces and rudeness, but over time she had a typical sibling relationship with him, they like to tease each other, play video games, and sometimes misbehave. They also hold a day for brothers and sisters, who were eventually joined by Morro (at the initiative of Liwei)

Do you ever get groceries delivered to your house? No, we do the groceries ourselves. Grocery deliveries were much more commonplace when the pandemic used to be a bigger concern, but I hardly hear of anyone availing that kind of service anymore.
What was the last job interview you went to where you didn't get the job? Do you think the interview went well or not? For a multinational e-commerce brand. I think I handled it well, but I was also admittedly a little wet behind the ears for the role I was applying for so I don't really resent them for not taking me. At the time I was also extremely burned out and just wanted a way out of my workplace, so the decision to apply was honestly mostly an impulsive move.
Are you the kind of person who can wake up with one alarm or do you need several? Depends on what time I'm waking up and/or what time I slept the night before. The earlier the alarm, the more alarms I set.
What's your favourite pasta shape? Fettuccine.
What position is your body in right now? Sitting, laying, standing? I'm sitting cross-legged.
Do you have any plans for the upcoming weekend? Saturday I'm planning to take my dad with me when we go shopping for steaks for NYE the next day. Sunday I have a bit of field work to do in the afternoon but I'm getting the fuckkkkk out of there as soon as the event is over so I can avoid traffic and be home in time for the countdown.
What's one of the saddest movies you've ever seen? Revolutionary Road.
Has a movie ever made you cry? Yes. I burst into tears every time I watch Liway, which is why I always have to watch it alone.
If you have a pet, where are they right now? Both are asleep downstairs.
What's the last dessert you ate? A brownie.
Do you experience deja vu often? I want to say once every few months? It's not often.
Are there any rooms in your house that you don't go into every day? My brother's.
Did you own many videos or DVDs when you were a kid? Yeah, pirated ones. Tons of them. Original DVDs were always too expensive and they were only saved for movies that we really really really really really REALLY wanted to have/see.
What was the last physical pain you experienced? Strained knees after siting in a certain position on the floor for too long.
Have you ever fed an animal at the zoo? Which ones? I don't think I have.
Do you use Fahrenheit or Celsius? Do you know both or just one? Celsius, and that's also the only one I'm familiar with.
Can you do a handstand? When was the last time you tried? Nopes.
Do people misunderstand you? Sure, for some situations.
What year will you/did you turn 30? 2028.
Have you ever worked or lived in a high rise building? I've interned in one, if that counts.
Who are some of your favourite actors? Kate Winslet, Kristen Stewart, Marion Cotillard, Emma Stone, Audrey Hepburn.
Do you hate it when musical artists make music for way too long and kinda ruin the legacy they'd originally built for themselves? Well, no. What they do is really none of my business lol, but also everyone will also get past their prime at some point so considering music is these artists' main source of income, it's understandable that they'll sometimes make meh outputs.
Is there anything that's been bothering you emotionally lately? Well my dad is leaving again in a couple of weeks and I never really got used to that.
What was the last store you shopped at? A pet supplies store so I can buy gifts for the dogs.
What time did you wake up today? Was that earlier or later than usual? 7:45 AM, then I slept again and woke up for real by 9:30 AM. Definitely later than usual; I typically wake up at around 6:15.
Have you ever been to a parade? What for? It didn't have a specific theme; it was really just this huge parade at BGC that celebrated a little bit of everything.
When you exercise, do you do anything to entertain yourself like listen to music or watch TV? I don't exercise.
Do you ever read other people's survey answers? Sure, but mostly when I take surveys that already have someone else's answers.
What app on your phone do you use the most? Reddit and YouTube.
Does your current city differ from your hometown in terms of weather? No. Unless you're in Baguio or Sagada, Philippine weather remains roughly the same regardless of where you are.
Have you ever been engaged? Nopes.
What can you hear right now? Apart from my typing, the fan right in front of me.
Do you know anyone who is terminally ill? Not that I'm aware of. I hope there is actually none.
What was your first best friend's name and where did you meet them? Are you still in touch with them? Kaye, in kindergarten, and nope.
What's your favourite fruit? Avocado, if anything.
Do you have nice views from your house? If you're at the rooftop, yeah.
What was the last album you listened to? This Is Why by Paramore.
How often do you get paid? Every two weeks.
Do you own any cool or interesting mugs? I have a personalized mug that has my name styled in the Friends logo. Angela gave it to me a couple of Christmases back.
If you had to start a university course next week, what do you think you'd like to study? Philippine social history. I actually took that as an elective in college, but a semester is too short a time for a topic so interesting to me that I wouldn't mind retaking it with new lessons haha.

Liway (2018)
#Never again #Marcos diktador
Spoiler alert!
Pero the point there is that, however bad your situation right now, that is not final. Makakausad ka rin. Makakaahon ka rin. Basta matutong lumaban at manindigan. Higit sa lahat, laging tandaan ang rason sa lahat ng iyong paggising sa umaga. Yun lang di ko na pahahabain kasi isusunod ko naman sleepless hahahahaha

MAL(iway)AYA
Liway is an indie film set in the 80’s reflecting the adversities faced by the prisoners of war during the Martial Law period. In clearer words, it storytells the afterlife of these supposedly “traitors of the state” in prison camps as they “choose” the life of reform instead of rebelling. Liway, in the simplest sense wishes to convey the notion of #NeverForget and #NeverAgain to Martial Law here in the Philippines.
The narrative exemplified in the movie is an eye-opener to the injustices of the Marcos regime to numerous sectors of society, especially the underprivileged ones. The movie incorporates the present happenings to the past through flashbacks. Through this method, there is a slower pace of comprehending the full story. Although through that, the narrative was more effective in bringing out the feels it wishes to convey. Liway not only overthrows the idea of martial law but is an avenue for feminism and sacrifice.
The film Liway, among other movies wanting to depict stories from the Marcos regime is more people-centric rather than nationalistic. It aims to tell the stories of the oppressed and did not give light to the side of the oppressor, which in this case is the Marcos Regime. It also valuates togetherness among the citizens of the Philippines in wanting to break free from the toxic governance, even today.
