If we all had only known that this would be Ronnie's final solo album. Released in 2004, not too long after I began hosting my college radio show, it marks the return of guitarist Craig Goldy, who's seen play with Ronnie a year earlier in Madison Square Garden. This is a very good record that is recommend to all Dio fans. My favorite track, that I played TO DEATH on my show for a while, was "The Man Who Would Be King". Ronnie's voice is absolutely on FIRE here. I'm still very bothered by the fact that he's gone, as bothered as I was nearly 12 years ago, when @waffle_jones told me the news. How does your hair grow? ... well mine - mainly grey at the front and top now.... I ll thank my mother for that piece of DNA- she's been going grey since she was 21... ( not my fault honest - I was born when she was 18!) She could nt have followed my nan who had black hair till she was 60.. lovely wavy black hair .. I got the wave but that's it! She followed my grandad who' had white hair as far back as I remember him... my mother is white now too.. even though she plans to dye the underneath green... and why not..when I get round to it .. I m going blue!! It was the most foolish thing I could ever do. To share something I love so much with you. I see it every night, when I lookup, or even think. I see the dark sky, and along with that the tiny light of our love. How now a fool you ask? For you say it mayhap to be the greatest night to date. It was tender yet bittersweet. I think I remember it two ways. One scene left me happy and whole hearted about us. The latter left me confused, riddled, perplexed by the thoughts of your sweet mind. But then again I remeber t'was both you left me in. And as I stand here, I feel sick to my stomach. Remembering the outlines you left in my bed, nay, my heart and mind. Wash me clean of the fuel you used to set me on fire. I feel it lingering whenever I look up. And remeber... The Stars.
