I’ve rewatching kami-sama kiss lately <3

waaaa no bc 🥺🥺 it’d been two years since the apocalypse started and society went to shit. you’d been on your own, for the most part, forced to keep moving from place to place as you looked for someone—anyone—who was still alive. you’d lost a lot, you’d gained little, but you were still kicking and breathing. that had to count for something, right?

you thought you’d seen everything, thought you’d become an expert on how to avoid and kill clickers, stalkers, and bloaters alike. but what you hadn’t accounted for were, well, people. who could blame you, though? you’d been by yourself for years.

one moment you were tentatively picking your way to a strange, high-tech fence, the next you were tumbling into a hole feet first. you landed clumsily—your ankle made an odd cracking sound—and you had to bite back a shout as you crumpled to the ground. winded.

how were you supposed to know there were traps in the area? sure you probably could have been more perceptive, but you were caught off guard. and now you were stuck in a hole that was too deep to pull yourself out of with your injured ankle and too steep to climb. you resigned yourself to sitting on the ground with your pistol gripped tightly in your hand. your eyes never once left the opening of the hole.

surely whoever dug this hole—made this trap—would still be around, right? you swallowed thickly.

you were lucky that he was.

katsuki, when he found you hours later, was a surprise you hadn't been expecting. you heard his steps before you saw him peek into your little hole. you didn’t think he expected to see the barrel of a gun pointing up at him, but then again, neither did you. he was the first person you’d seen in ages—you lowered your gun first. he glared down at you with ruby eyes that seemingly seared right through your soul.

it took a lot of convincing on your part, assuring him that you weren't infected. he didn't believe you, of course he didn't, and he was more than willing to leave you in the hole to die if you were lying. but... he hadn't seen another person in so long... his resolve wavered. he brought over a ladder to get you out and before you could even step foot out of the hole, he scanned you. green. you were safe. still, he didn't let his guard down.

he took you to his home base—a heavily fortified area beyond that same high-tech fence you'd seen. there was no infected in sight. now that your adrenaline had faded away, you could feel the shooting pain in your ankle. you sheepishly asked him if he had a medkit as you awkwardly limped behind him. he... wasn't much for conversation.

katsuki gave you clothes, let you shower. he dropped off a large medkit in the bedroom he'd let you have so you could wrap up your ankle. he had running water, working lights. he had a garden and a little farm. and he was alone.

you could tell he'd had his fair share of loss as well. it lingered in the air, potent at times. but still, he'd made something peaceful in these exhausting, terrifying times. a little safe haven that he dedicated hours and hours to cultivating and protecting. you respected that.

your ankle worsened overnight, became swollen and painful to stand on. so he let you stay, albeit begrudgingly. sending you back out into the wilderness would be a death sentence and he knew that. but you had to pull your weight—as much as you could, anyways. you didn't mind. you had your skills you'd developed over the years.

days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months. he didn't bother to kick you out, even after your ankle had fully healed. he'd grown used to you, and you to him. you helped him with his chores. you had dinner with him every evening. you woke up with him in the morning to go on little jogs around the fence perimeter. you shared quiet laughs and grim acknowledgements. you had your highs, and you had your lows.

it was only inevitable, you think, that you'd both become so tightly intertwined together that it was difficult for you to be separated.

katsuki kissed you, one night, after the sun had set and you both stood out on his house's porch, staring out into the darkness. fireflies dotted the air. the wind's cool caress along your face was replaced by his warm palm. he kissed you like you were the only thing that mattered—like you were the only thing tethering him to the earth. he told you, in a hushed voice, that he had something to protect, now, with you by his side. he had never known fear until you squirmed your way into his heart.

things changed, that night, for the better. your life—once so tainted by fear and blood—had turned into something so much sweeter in a way you didn't think was possible. you had him and he had you.

and together you would both love each other. for a long, long time.

Can you imagine if Celestia decides to mind control the archons, realizing that a revolution is probably coming?

The main goal is to sow chaos and distrust in Teyvat, stopping the Tsaritsa's plans while showing Celestia's might.

What they didn't expect was for said archons to fight back, most with contingencies made centuries ago.

Venti isolated himself in a wind barrier, making sure nobody could enter, and that his powers couldn't break out. He is NOT having panic attacks due to claustrophobia and memories of Decarabian's rule, thank you very much.

Zhongli sealed himself deep undergound, in a similar fashion to Azdaha, he brought plenty of books to pass the time, though he is mostly suffering from a migraine due to fighting off Celestia.

Ei is literally just chilling in the Plane of Euthymia while the Shogun runs Inazuma. Makoto's subconsiousness is fistfighting Celestia's influence.

To make sure nobody could use her control over Irminsul and the people's dreams and minds, Nahida locked herself up in the Sanctuary of Surasthana again, sealing her conciousness. It worked, but she's afraid and alone and crying while reliving her worst nightmare. Scaramouche and Cyno are trying to break the barrier in frantic desperation.

We don't know much about Murata, but she's probably just chilling in a volcano. Meanwhile the Tsaritsa froze herself, letting Pierro run the country and the Fatui in her stead.

Meanwhile Furina is hiding in the dephts of Fontaine's sea, sealing herself in a cave with the use of Pneuma and Ousia energies (if she tries to break the barrier, or attempts to control Fontaine's waters, the barrier strikes, she went a bit overboard because tsunamis are no joke).

So yeah, the plan didn't go as expected, and Celestia also didn't account for the Traveler... or the dragons...

The Traveler is basically going around saving everyone, using his connection to the elements to break barriers and fight off Celestia's influence. We start with Sumeru, mostly because Scara all but drags us to save Nahida.

As for the Sovereings...

Dvalin is guarding Venti's temporary "prison", trying to sing as many ballads as he can remember in hopes to calm him down. He sometimes sings the notes wrong because it always made Venti laugh.

Azdaha's conciousness found Zhongli's seal. He connected both of the places so that they can keep each other company. They're alternating between chess matches with soothing tea and Oshmantus wine to friendly spars that shake Liyue (Zhongli is still a feral war god that likes to fight).

Ei is having a great time in the Plane of Euthymia, especially now that Kokomi came along. They're chatting about light novels.

Apep managed to connect to Nahida's conciousness and is currently strangling the Celestial influence. She claims it's just her way of settling the score after we helped her in 3.6, as well as a good excuse to fight Celestia. The fact that she is telling stories of the old days of Teyvat to calm Nahida down is just a mere coincidence. (The maternal instincts kicked in)

Neuvillette broke though the Pneuma Ousia barrier with a small army of Melusines. He is currently guarding the archon in his dragon form while the Melusines perform plays to distract her (they want to start a troupe, so these are all original scripts, they were all approved).

We don't know much about the other two dragons, so let's just say they're guarding the borders of Natlan and Snezhnaya.

CONGRATULATIONS CELESTIA! Not only did your plan fail, but now all of Teyvat is mad at you!! Even the Sovereigns (that are supposed to resent the archons, mind you) are angry on their behalf!!!!🥳🥳🥳

From the 'transparent field' of 'Ville de Merveilles,' we are exploring one side of them but to be straightforward i try to ask Gackt about the meaning of the overall concept of the live performance. He often says that we get asked about the meaning of the concept but it would get confusing to talk about the answer if you don't understand the problems we are presenting. There's a time lag in our live performances and i think if you watch the performance you will understand what kind of problems we were presenting. Therefore, if you watch the next Budokan performance you will understand what it was last time. There, even if we don’t present the answer you may understand what the theme was. It might be something that you can’t grasp, because it depends on how a person feels. It's not just about watching the live performance having fun and that’s the end of it.

Mana also continues the conversation. 'There might be secrets on the top floor of Budokan. Malice is linked in various places...'

In fact, after this interview ended, Gackt asked me, 'Do we say too many things we can't say?' That might be true but conversely there may not be any other band that provides this much enjoyment in unraveling the mysteries. It could be said that they offer the joy of thinking together with them.

They have held the same unchanging theme of 'what it means to be human' since their formation, but i think they are trying to approach this grand theme from different angles in each part of their activities. If we compare it to a role playing game, if the mysteries scattered around the map were too easy to solve the game wouldn't work. The important thing is to think together with them, to send back the ripple as a mirror and the answer will come later.

In the album 'mer・veillea,' which will be released on March 18 various waves are included and the abundance of 80's electro pop style arrangements caught my attention. When i asked Mana who frequently mentioned the term '80s' this time , about it he responded, 'There is a bit of meaning in the number 80.'
