#i am reblogging this again because i have now watched all the episodes IN ORDER#and the fact that you wouldnt have fully appreciated thorsten's reaction to the girl in the first ep#UNTIL THE THIRD EP#which is like. what? a year and a half?#is crazy to me. so the rewatch is actually so helpful and you wont have appreciated how meaty hart an der grenze was as a 'pilot' ep#i really miss the old eps where you learn a lot about the kommissars' personal lives and how they affect the cases#i mean i still love the nonchalant ways that thorsten and sebastian go about their investigations in the last two episodes but#some of the older episodes really hit different#also: to comment on thorsten and sebastian's first meeting and the evolution of their relationship --#sebastian probably initially saw thorsten as a threat. who is this guy who isnt easily charmed by my personality.#why doesnt he seem to like me straight away. why is he so awkward and difficult to talk to without having weird tense vibes#and yes i agree that sebastian suggested them going 'undercover' so that he could prove to thorsten that he deserves to be a hauptkommissar#at his age - and then -- thorsten softened#and sebastian softened too. and then then it was the point of no return because thorsten will keep surprising him again and again#mostly because sebastian wears his heart on his sleeve and is used to everyone around him being as open with him#and to chip away at thorsten's marble walls is something that sebastian would gladly undertake#that by the time of lass sie gehen they know each other so well#tatort stuttgart#this has been an essay in the tags that i did not expect typing at 2 am @ecoustsaintmein i for one am very appreciative of your 2am tags!!!!
