Will the petitions against KOSA actually get sent to the governors and lawmakers? My roommate just went through a massive panic attack about it earlier today, and I tried to cheer them up with the example of years ago when Article 13 was rejected because of the worldwide public outcry against it, but I'm afraid they'll have a relapse and I won't have any good news to help them calm down

From what I gathereddd yes it will get to them directly without outside interference - as all the letters are the same does this mean said lawmakers will read every single one? no - though doing it anyways matters in numbers in ways to tell them that we are aware and want a say in these actions. Like u said Article 13 was rejected because of worldwide outcry, and giant corporations are failing because of the boycott right now - proving banding together does work.

I also think what the bill proposes is a pretty big freaking ask, censorship on a scale as large as the US is a tall order and TBH if they couldn’t get control over guns (the real problem), they cannot get a hold over the internet.

I’m not aware of every censorship policy made ever, but we’re still here now and still have ability to do something about it.

i rewatched gravity falls with my friend for the first time since i was like 10 and man the humor in that show is still top-notch. i was 8 when it was ongoing and some of the jokes were so funny to me that i would run out of my room and miss a bit of the episode so i could re-tell the joke to my mom. i still think stanley pines is one of the funniest characters in anything ever

What's this I heard about Oaey from Mate the series and this girl called Jaja being her irl ex-girlfriend and then there's also something about Idol Factory that made GAP throwing out a show Oaey and Jaja made together halfway through. A lot of it is in Thai so I can't really follow

From what I've seen/read over the years, Oaey Ponchanok and Jaja Jinjutha were rumored to be a couple irl. Idk if that rumor persists today and they're still together, or if they've broken up since. But they lived together at one point and auditioned together to play couples on tv shows. Specifically, GAP:

What I can confirm today is that Oaey is openly gay (lesbians playing lesbians ftw 🥳) and freely talks about her prior relationships with women. She's never confirmed if one of those women is Jaja tho.

But Oaey and Jaja were both cast in GAP as the secondary wlw couple. Do you remember the hotel owners Mon and Sam run into on their vacation, Cher and Risa? Those roles were specifically written into the script for Oaey and Jaja. IDF had plans for that couple to get their own spin-off, and the spin-off was to air directly after GAP to capitalize off GAP's popularity. Oaey and Jaja were set to be the next FreenBecky:

It's kinda wild to think that, if things had gone differently and God actually loved us, we would've had two irl girlfriends playing on-screen girlfriends doing girlfriend shit during promotions. Or, if they were already broken up, the absolute D R A M A of irl ex-gfs playing on-screen gfs forced to do gf shit during promotions. I'm pretty sure there's a GL in pre-production right now with that same plot, and I happen to know who they can cast:

Anyway, Oaey and Jaja completely filmed their scenes in GAP and were officially part of GAP. They participated in promotions for the show alongside the other cast members, did interviews, and shot a bunch of promotional videos together as an official GL love team:

Things went south when GAP blew the fuck up basically overnight and made superstars out of Becky and Freen. I truly believe IDF didn't expect GAP to do as well as it did. Once they realized how much money they could make by casting Becky and Freen in other projects, they needed that same security with Oaey and Jaja. Especially since Oaey and Jaja were already halfway thru filming the GAP spin-off. IDF needed to lock Oaey and Jaja into exclusive deals to not lose them to competing companies.

Now, this part is purely speculation since it's never been confirmed, but the rumors go that IDF required Oaey and Jaja to sign an exclusive contract before the company would air not only their scenes in GAP but also their spin-off. But Oaey and Jaja didn't want to sign. They wanted to remain semi-independent with more freedom to choose future projects with other companies.

IDF hated that idea with a fiery passion, so they nixed Oaey and Jaja in GAP and replaced them with Lux and Milky, canceled the spin-off altogether, and kicked Oaey and Jaja to the curb:

To make Oaey and Jaja's situation even worse, both women auditioned for Mate. Oaey as Gen and Jaja as Aoey. Production chose Oaey, but not as Gen. They thought she was too short to play Gen, so they recast her as Aoey. Jaja's a smidge taller than Oaey, so she would've made a great Gen, but Jaja didn't make it at all. Production ended up casting Grace instead. So, once again, Oaey and Jaja were broken up as a love team.

hey - so since gege never thought to tell us why the inumaki clan had been outlawed and why jujutsu society was happy to let their entire bloodline die out along with, in my opinion, one of the strongest techniques in the entire lore, i've taken it upon myself with my own original character (inumaki no sukeyasu) to say that at one point in time they were considered in line with the big three until their inherited techinque holder of the period was killed by another sorcerer and nothing was done about it, so they closed their doors to jujutsu society and developed a strictly "them or us" attitude in which they only cared for and extended their hands for the people living within their lands. this changed roughly two generations before sukeyasu, in which their forbearers once again thought to open themselves to the whims and orders of jujutsu society, but after sukeyasu's death in the war against sukuna (being that sukeyasu's twin brother was head of the family at this time, and in his grief he dealt the extreme) they once again turned their backs on society. closed their doors, made it very clear they were not to be involved with any future disturbances, and in anger against their defiance to fall into order, they have been outlawed ever since.

every dishonored game (with the exception of DotO) ends with the Outsider narrating what came after, when the story came to a close, and it does give the game the quality of one - a story recounted to you, in detail, by a master storyteller that explains what came after, what fate the characters you grew to love in the tale met, before it all fades to nothing. and it conjures ideas of human Outsider relaying strange stories like this to others, those of the plague and of the coup, tales of the Knife of Dunwall, or the tales of the witch-Empress before she became an Empress at all. maybe even presents the idea of the third game being, at the end of it all, a retelling of what human Outsider lived through, but now he is a little older, a little less otherworldly.
