Making a webcomic based on my trading card game idea I was inspired to make i was inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh and other tcg animes to make myself my own tcg series and I even would make the game rules and the webcomic based on my tcg idea and so
For the first protagonist so should his personality be timid like aichi sendou and Yugi muto or would that be the same copy and paste and not original and I should do a different personality?
So...

I found this on Yahoo Answers yesterday, and couldn’t help throwing out suggestions,
Tumblr media
But when it comes down to it, there’s really not much out there quite like Spider Riders. Was wondering if anyone else could think of some, anime or otherwise.
Actually, Spider Riders has a lot more in common with magical girl/boy anime than it does with monster battle. I see people try to compare it to shows like Pokemon, but really, if it was typical monster battle anime then the humans would stand on the sidelines and command their spiders in battle. And the enemies would probably use spiders too. I actually should have suggested Live On Cardliver Kakeru too, which is the only other fusion of the two genres I can think of. (Basically, it’s a card battle anime where the humans transform into the monsters and fight alongside the cards. But it’s so obscure I don’t think it was subbed past the 5th episode, which is a shame because it started off kinda slow and gets better.)

Watching Cardliver Kakeru while doing homework
This ED reminds me of Narutaru's OP and aaaaa
So if I have all of this right;
* Each player has a deck of 40 cards and a starting hand of 6, draws once each turn with no upper limit on hand size. If you run out of cards--even if it's just by drawing the last one--you lose.
* There are two lines your cards are stationed on, the attack line and back line. Units can only attack from the attack line, but can't move onto the attack line on the turn that they are summoned unless they have a skill that lets them do that.
* There are different clans/elements. So far I've seen orange, white and black cards, and orange is Earth.
* To use a card, you have to control as many cards on the back and/or attack line(s) as its cost. So you can't use Double Fire unless you have at least two units already out.
* Units' power is also their HP. When it runs out, they evaporate into the ether are discarded.
* If a player has no units on the attack line, they can be attacked directly. This will 'burst' cards from their deck, exploding discarding them.
* LiveChange cards treat the player as a unit.
* The cards are magical. Not like Yu-Gi-Oh!, where you have ancient Egyptian magic messing around with them, they're actually magic in and of themselves.
Kind of like the Mega Man TCG. Not that there's a ton of information on the series, but this is what I can get from it so far.

Yugioh DM is like DBZ to me in that it’s diverged away from the series’ original concept in a way that leaves behind what made me get into the thing in the first place but was clearly the overwhelmingly popular choice and it’s so. Frustrating. Because if I complain abt the change the vast majority of fans are probably gonna be like “????” or I sound like one of those annoying fans that are like back in MY day everything was better and new shit is bad. Yugioh is still better than DBZ though
And like with YGO it’s clearly not a matter of “oh it changed from back when I liked it and new stuff bad” because I STARTED watching Yugioh from the DM anime!! I got in from The Cardgames Show but I wasn’t *into* it until I went back and watched Season 0 and read the first parts of the manga. And it’s not even that I don’t like cardgame shows because one of my favorite animes is Live On: Cardliver Kakeru, aka Another Cardgames Show. So what does Duel Monsters do that doesn’t click for me? I don’t know. I don’t fucking know. Mystery for the ages
