This charming Xu Beihong ink study of unusual size was once part of the collection of the Buddhist monk Fa Yin. Fa Yin was the nephew of the renowned ceramic specialist and historian Han Huaizhen (1892-1970). In his youth, Fa Yin followed his uncle to Singapore, where he studied Chinese painting. Due to his uncle's close friendship with artists like #XuBeihong, Fa Yin’s collection included works by eminent painters such as Xu Beihong, #LiuHaisu, Zhao Shao’ang, and #YuYouren.
