Finally felt human

This weekend i went to my fav cousin's house (another cousin i didn't knew was there but we became friends almost immediately) and i had so much fun, i basically spend 24h at home and drives me crazy because i feel like im wasting my youth. We went to the beach, we went out at night for pizza and we watched movies, decided to have a little nails care time, we had a tarot session but the best part was that i felt normal and not weird like most of the times i'm out.

I always was the weird kid and not only people from outside my house bullied me but also the people i lived with my whole life, than i was late diagnosed with adhd and knowing now that i was not actually weird i was just me makes everything a lot easier but also harder. For the first time in a long time i spend time with neurotypical people that didn't judged me and truly understood me, the first time that the feeling of don't belonging places vanished, the first time i didn't layed on my bed to sleep and feel ashamed of something that i said or did without thinking and that's amazing because i got so attached to my neurodivergent friends because they think like me (so i dont have to explain or redo things) that i was scared of meeting new people.

I still feeling that way, kinda, but im way better now. I was so so happy for finally having another perspective of girlhood and for feeling part of something.
