Adam doesn't care about Weiss only because he was never written to, despite the fact that it would make far more sense than throwing everything away for an ex comrade

Iirc Weiss only ever acknowledges the damage the company did to specifically Faunus in V7 in the mines, where her apology is immediately accepted by Blake and Marrow, the only Faunus characters in the main V7 cast. Not once does she even say she's going to find a way to make reparations or help the abused workers. It's not enough to acknowledge the pain her family's company has caused, she needs to fucking DO something about it or else it's virtue signalling

The entire arc between Jacques and Weiss is about their specific dynamic. Ignoring the literal world-wide harm Jacques has committed to focus only on how Weiss is hurt by him implies that Weiss doesn't care about anyone's pain but hers. She can't even be bothered to care about Whitley, her own baby brother abandoned either mentally (Willow) or wholesale (Winter and Weiss) by the women in his life, leaving him with only Jacques and Klein (who has very little power to help him)

Having Adam and Weiss meet, especially if it had been in the earlier seasons, would have been an excellent way to push Weiss to fight for the people her father's company hurt because instead of flaccidly apologizing with vague ho-hums about company policies or second-hand stories. Now she can see with her own eyes (one of which is also indirectly scarred by her father. Foils, anyone?) that someone was fucking branded

Think through the implications of that. Of a company having a branding iron on hand. The following materials are things that can be branded with this technique: wood, paper, cardboard, leather, food, cork, and plastic as stated here. Every crate of Schnee property shown in the show has been made of metal, a material that cannot be branded via an iron. You know what that implies?

The Schnee Dust Company has branding irons for the sole purpose of branding their workers

The only reason their meeting didn't happen is because doing so would force the audience and the writers to actually think through the racism plot and add nuance to its literal face character. But why do that when you can make him a caricature that's literally 1:1 with white supremacist views on black activists? Worst of all is how so many people swallow it because he hurt everyone's favorite catgirl

So, yeah, it really is a wasted opportunity for the both of them and they should've been allowed to put Jacques head on a pike together

I still believe that Weiss never meeting Adam before he died was a huge missed opportunity in RWBY especially after they revealed the SDC branding on his eye. He even had easy access to Weiss through Blake. Like why obsess over some girl who left you instead of trying to get to the (former) heiress of the Schnee Dust Company??? It doesn’t make sense to me.

TW: rape mentioned, racism mentioned (if any of these trigger you, PLEASE do not read further!) it kind of bothered me that every interaction that bree had with another black person all felt very business like interactions... the last part of the book to be wrapped up in the ROOT (get it) of bree's character, her ancestry, she felt a little distant from it and other black people and root users yk?? and then we get bree complaining how vera fucked over all her descendants (i will be talking abt this. this ESPECIALLY gets me bothered) and something about it rubbed me the wrong way also just mentioning something i find funny when bree like absolutely WRECKED alice. why did she suplex homegirl like this. hit her with the ddt. the rock bottom. stone cold stunned her ass.  wwe wrestler bree is so real LMFAO. going on with my rant what finally pissed me off so much that i thought "if i throw this book im justisfied" is when Vera, a fucking desperate enslaved person trying to keep her family safe is made subject to the vitriol of a bratty teenage girl. let's run back vera's plot. vera was raped by a scion of arthur, and became pregnant with her child. this was during the years where slavery was okay and you could treat people like shit depending on the color of their skin. vera had to run because she was being hunted down because the order thought "uh uh! our next scion of arthur CANT be black" and vera ended up making a deal (a deal tht i forgot) to protect her family. i'm pretty sure something ended up hunting down every one of vera's descendants slowly but surely, and bree was mad that her ancestor had gone through so much that she sits there in the farm where vera was RAPED and calls all her ancestors over there, yells at them until she gets to vera. and then she rants and tells her to get lost and insults her all bc bree is really mad ! okay, bree, girl, i would be mad too if a demon was hunting me down. what i would not do is take it out on a desperate slaved ancestor in the spot where a lot of her trauma took place. wtf bree? okay btw wondering if tracy even likes nick? at all? is she like deciding ''should i fuck him up or should i leave him be.'' he was actually nice to bree from the start while sel showed red flags of being racist af. he loves bree, wants to protect her, makes decisions because he's thinking of her and sometimes hes flawed and thats okay! nobody's perfect! and he LISTENS to her. in legendborn nick thought bree had cheated on him with sel. seeing him like so distraught made ME freak out. like girl if you don't fix this... and then Bloodmarked pulled him aside, and benched him. bree and sel are kissing in a forest of fireflies while nick is running for his life from his parents and a merlin. he deserved better than to be freaking cheated on when he thinks he's abt to die like every moment. when he is literally a HOSTAGE of the man who was supposed to protect him (his father) and a freaking merlin people talking about ''hey!! lancelot betrayed arthur!! nick could betray bree!! coincidence?? i think NOT!!" no. bree betrayed nick. i love you bree but get it together and please admit to nick you cheated on him and kissed sel repeatedly while he was a hostage. and he BETTER not be happy abt it. nobody's happy after getting cheated on and nobody's quick to forgive after being cheated on. all in all:

Insisting that all byler evidence is reaching or coincidental (at best), when there's just certain evidence that would honestly be way more impressive if it were just a coincidence? Like, I would seriously want to get the Duffers checked for sorcery because there's just no way coincidences like this happen to these extremes.

One specific example of this, which again, I think would be a lot more impressive if it was a coincidence and not intentional, although I know even most bylers struggle to believe this one, is the CGI hearts in Mike and Will's eyes during the van scene.

Because when it comes to deciding whether a theory is plausible or not, there's obviously reasoning that goes into what determines that.

In this case, the first question one might ask is, what's the context of the scene/what's happening?:

Will hands Mike a painting. In this painting, Mike is holding a shield with a heart on it.

Okay, fair enough. But still not quite on the nose enough...

Why don't we look at the literal dialogue and see if that might support the possibility of CGI hearts:

The fact that they had individual character posters for each storyline, with the two heart palm trees visible in the Cali character posters, only to make sure both of the palm tree hearts were visible for the main byler duo poster, which was used out of maybe 6 different ones overall (1/3 couple posters), to watch Stranger Things on Netflix??

The fact that the palm tree hearts are the exact same image, just reflected horizontally???
