i’m so tired of people saying 2012 leo is a bad brother because he’s splinter’s favourite student because in WHAT WORLD IS THAT HIS FAULT?! he constantly sacrifices himself to save his brothers and loved ones, in fact he does it more times than any other leo iteration on tv.

yeah rise raph is a lot better at being an older brother but that’s because practically he had to raise the others himself, and he’s older than the other turtles by YEARS. 2012 leo is the same age as the other three and i don’t understand why it’s so hard for people to understand that he’s also just a kid and it isn’t his responsibility to parent his brothers when they fuck up.

Have you ever met a 16 year old? That's the exact age where people can look either 12 or 25 depending on where in their growth they are. In his introduction he states that he has been Spiderman for 3 years. Most Spider people get bit around age 16 (Hobie was bit at 16 in the comics). If he was 16 when bit that would make him 19 now (16+3=19). He also refers to Miles as a "young'un" which is slang for a young child. Tf would he refer to a 15 year old as a young child if he was 16? He also canonically goes to the pub with his friends. You have to be 18 in the UK to purchase alcohol and even enter a pub. The only way you could enter a pub as a minor is to go with a parent. Don't use the "oh well he's a punk so he wouldn't listen to those rules" because I highly doubt they would promote underage drinking in a kids movie. Atsv director Kemp Powers also stated that Hobie was "19/20" in an interview. In the atsv art book it states "Miles is quite jealous of this guy, but he also wants to be more like him because he's much older and more uninhibited in ways that Miles can only be in his imagination!". This quote about Hobie states that he is "much older" than Miles (a 15 year old). Why would they say that Hobie was much older than Miles if he was only 16? (Which would only separate them by a year).

In conclusion, Hobie is over 18.

I've been around for awhile but have never seen a fan like you lol! You hate a certain couple, no wait you LOVE that couple, no you hate them again enough to write multiparagraph posts about how terrible they are, wait suddenly you love them enough to make random gifsets about them. And it's all with shows that don't even have new episodes, so it's not like new material is changing your mind - you just wake up one morning feeling totally different and then go from one fandom extreme to another a million times every day, hating ships and characters you loved, loving characters and ships you hated, and back and forth over and over. It's amusing and fun to follow but also makes it impossible to take any of your opinions seriously for even a second because they all change a million times!
