“Are you actually serious?” Jihyo says, placing her cup of coffee down. Sana pinches the bridge of her nose and lets out a small breath,
“Jihyo, I don’t know what to do,” Sana says defeatedly.
Two months have passed by and that means two months of seeing you every now and then. Johnny, your brother, has returned from his business trip, so he ended up being the one to take Hana to school in the morning and the one to pick her up in the afternoon. You, however, were not going to miss the chance to see this lovely woman named Sana. 5'4 inches of pure beauty and charm. So, you convinced him to let you take Hana to school once or twice a week just to see who you think is the woman blessed by Aphrodite.
I mean, the temperature is dropping, and the warmth that spreads through your body when you see Sana is definitely something you need for this weather.
Every week Sana would see you in the morning once or twice. You two would exchange your friendly greetings before Hana goes off to chat with her new best friend Jiyeong, you’d stare at each other all lovingly (you two are oblivious, it’s sick), and then part ways. Rinse and repeat, reuse, reduce, recycle, etc, this went on for two damn months.
Sana would never say anything more, she wouldn’t flirt, she wouldn’t ask you out, and she wouldn’t do anything but be friendly. She still believed that you were literally her student’s mother, and there was a guilt that got heavier every time her heart did a flip from seeing you.
Each interaction sparked a small flame in your hearts, and just before it grew bigger, you’d wave goodbye; the flame would die again, never growing large enough to really warm you two the way you both needed.
“Sana… I honestly have no clue what to say,” Jihyo starts, and she looks at the young teacher in front of her, practically losing her mind, “I mean, you’re sure she’s her mom?”
“Yes, I mean, the girl’s dad and her take turns dropping her off and whatnot. I'm not going to be more delusional than I already am trying to find anything that makes her seem less like a mother, I mean, it's clear that she is the mother of that girl.” Sana explains, and her heart sinks a little, “I guess her dad is nice, though, and tall, I don’t know.” Sana groans.
Jihyo watches Sana stick out her signature little pout and swirl the coffee in her cup,
“Well… There are always others, no?”
“I don’t know, it’s just something about her Jihyo,” and Jihyo listens with interest, “I just, ever since we met, I feel like, there was some kind of… god this is so embarrassing…” Sana trails off, putting a hand on her forehead and pinching her eyes shut from slight embarrassment. Sana reminisces the way you’d joke about Hana making your wrinkles appear if she kept it up with her little antics, how you’d make her laugh at your little comments, and the way your eyes scan the room for her in the mornings and -
“You’ve been a hopeless romantic since we were roommates, I’ve probably heard worse.” Jihyo sighs, and she reminisces about the days when Sana and she had to share a small single-bedroom dorm, and how she would gush about anything and romanticize everything.
“Look, she’s just so pretty… Maybe we could just be friends? She’s sweet.” Sana suggests, and Jihyo laughs in disbelief.
“You want to be friends with someone’s mother that you also, or, might have a crush on?”
“Maybe.”
-
You let yourself in through the front door with your spare keys, hanging your jacket on the coat hanger and sliding your shoes off, setting them on the shoe rack.
There’s a faint melody of a slow, soft song playing, and there’s a low voice that hums along to the old tune. It fits the atmosphere of the quiet house on a Thursday night.
You creep through the hall quietly to see your brother in the dimmed kitchen washing a few plates. He’s in a navy long-sleeved shirt with its sleeves rolled up so water doesn't temporarily shade his apparel, and loose shorts that go down to just above his knees. His hair is a bit messy, and he looks nerdy with his circular black glasses on. You laugh at the sight of him in his pajamas and slides, he jumps a little and turns his head in surprise after hearing you.
“My god, at least text me.” He sighs, and you chuckle at him. You make your way over to the area where he is and sit across from him at the kitchen island, he directs his attention back to the dirty plate in his hand, “Did you need something?”
“Kinda.”
“You know where everything is, just grab it if you need it. Also, be quiet, Hana just fell asleep.” Johnny responds, turning off the sink and placing the white dish in the dishwasher.
“It’s not a physical thing, I just… maybe some advice, or at least your thoughts.”
“...On?”
“There’s this girl,”
"Oh," He mumbles quietly, “You’re ready to date again?”
“I think so,” You begin, “She’s different you know. Not like that girl in high school. She’s actually the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, and she’s sweet and nice and caring and-”
“How long have you known her?”
“Two months...”
“So it is Ms. Minatozaki.” Johnny scoffs, though, not in an insulting way, more of an ‘I fucking knew it’ way. He picks up a rag and starts to wipe it on the countertop.
You look at your taller brother in surprise, “How did you know?”
“Hana tells me all about you two y’know? Why else would you willingly wake up earlier than you should to drop off my daughter at school? And, she tells me that you ask about her teacher?” He laughs, “You’re not good at hiding things, never have been.”
“Hey!” You say defensively, and a little too loud as it makes him put a finger to his lips,
“Lower your voice.”
“Sorry.” You mumble, laying your head on your palm. Johnny turns his body to face you instead of the counter connected to the sink that he had previously been wiping,
“Soooo, what are you going to do?”
“I don’t know Johnny.”
“You think she likes you?” He asks, genuinely curious about your new interest. Johnny grabs two glasses of water and places them on the counter, then sits down to the right of you, making sure to give his full attention to you.
Johnny has always been a good brother, and you two had your necessary brother-sister moments where you were at each other's throats; in fact, you’d bicker all the damn time and it even went on into high school. However, you two always had each other’s backs. Even when you hated each other there would be moments where you two were the only ones who understood each other, and sometimes time seemed to stop when you’d talk about the deeper topics and anything bothering you two.
And so, time slows down as Johnny listens to your rant.
“We’re friendly, I mean, what am I thinking? I feel slightly delusional I won’t even lie,” You sigh, “She’s so pretty and sweet and I just, I really want to get to know her. Like ever since I met her I felt like… It’s so corny but I swear the world literally paused for a moment.” You add, shifting your look away from your older brother.
How are you supposed to tell your brother that this woman that you’ve known for two months is making you lose some sleep, and, by the way, you haven’t even had a full conversation with her either. You think of the woman that you go out of your way to run into and see for ten minutes a day total, twice a week. You think of her radiant smile that rivals the sun's rays, the voice that’s more soothing than any song on your playlist, and the way her eyes light up when she sees you, and -
“You’re head over heels, huh,” Johnny says, amused.
“Don’t be ridiculous, I barely know her.” you lie,
“Well, you could.”
“And how am I supposed to do that? ‘Oh hey I think of you day and night just because I think you’re cute and nice and I think I almost overfilled a cup of cold brew while daydreaming about you, uh maybe we could go out sometime?’”
“Maybe don’t say that much, dumbass.” Your older brother says playfully, “Just start with a compliment or something, you seriously suck at this romance stuff.”
“Thanks,” You mutter, rolling your eyes, “But what if she thinks that’s weird? I’m literally her student’s aunt.”
“Maybe,” Johnny sighs and finishes the water in his cup, “Maybe you should get some rest, y/n. If you lose sleep over this woman who you’ve never had a full conversation with, imagine how much sleep you’ll lose when you finally do.” He stands up and makes his way over back to the sink to rinse the glass cup you had gotten him for his last birthday, “So, maybe you should catch up on rest now and rant to me when you finally have the balls to actually make a conversation with her, then I could actually give you some decent advice."
“You suck.”
“I want to give you my feedback and advice, but this is literally all I can say right now: ask her out and come back to me.”
“This is too much.”
“You’re a loser, y/n.” Johnny jokes, and he takes the cup that you hadn’t touched away and then rinses it.
-
You don’t even get to plan anything or prepare yourself for your next interaction with Sana, and you look stupid when you run into her too.
You’re at the nearest convenience store in an oversized t-shirt that was your brothers’, the gray shirt with a shark graphic on it that was too comfy to not steal. Paired with that tee were plaid shorts and white socks with more sharks on them that you had gotten from Hana last Christmas, along with grayish-green clogs on your feet.
You were dressed like a college student that was on a budget, and of course, you had to run into the woman of your dreams at a convenience store at 12:24 am on a Friday night while looking stupid.
Sana had run into you while you scanned the drinks section. You didn’t notice her calling out your name while there was pop music playing in your earbuds, and when you turned to see who had tapped on your shoulder your eyes widened.
Sana held a small basket in her hand, and she wore a purple sweatshirt along with gray sweatpants, much more presentable than what you were wearing. Your face goes red as you realize that she’s caught you looking ridiculous, all while she looks perfect.
Her hair is clipped up and some strands fall over her face, and she looks so unbelievably adorable just standing there smiling at you.
“Hi.” She says, looking you up and down.
She scans your whole look and gets a little flustered by how precious you look. Your hair is messed up and disheveled at the roots, as if you’d just gotten out of bed and ran a hand through it. The oversized t-shirt drowned your figure in comfort, and your inked, toned forearms were revealed. The t-shirt you wore had a cute shark graphic on it, Sana had guessed that your daughter had something to do with why you had that shirt. She smiles at the sight of you in such comfy clothing, looking lovely as ever while you stare back at her.
“Hey.” You respond, taking out an earbud,
“It’s surprising to see you here y/n,” Sana giggles, “Thirsty?” She questions, and she’s peeking at the vitamin water in one of your hands.
“I guess so.” You mumble, biting the inside of your cheek and putting a hand in your pocket, “It’s pretty surprising to see you here too.” You add. Surprising, but wow, definitely lucky. When would you ever see her looking so comfy and out of her workplace looking so cute?
Sana giggles and you feel like a huge gust of wind has hit you so suddenly, about to hit you off your feet. You smile brightly.
“I couldn’t sleep, I wanted something to snack on,” Sana shrugs. You glance at her basket and see some spicy turtle chips in the basket,
“Eating something spicy at this time is new to me, most people would have something warm, no?”
“Maybe.” Sana mutters, “I like your outfit, by the way.”
Your ears turn red again and you look down at your clothing, “Yeah… It’s a shirt from Hana’s dad, haha, that’s why it’s so big.”
Sana’s heart sinks a bit at the mention of Hana’s dad.
Sana and Johnny had met other times, and Sana thought he was nice, sweet, and she can't lie he does has a nice smile, but not as nice as yours. He treated Hana with care; Sana could tell he loved her dearly, as much as you did.
“I see, I like it. The two of them must love sharks, she always draws them during class.”
“She and her dad are very similar, lots of shark things in the house. I prefer koalas.” You reply. You wonder why the hell you’re mentioning koalas at this time, at this moment in this place, but it doesn’t matter because it seems to spark some kind of conversation with the woman in front of you, and Sana thinks it’s cute, actually.
“Koalas?” She questions amusingly, "They’re cute. I think hamsters are cuter, though.”
“hamsters?”
“Mhm.”
You chuckle at her response and wonder, how does she get cuter every time? Sana turns her head to eye at the drinks, then makes her way to the refrigerator door to grab one for herself, she grabs a canned iced americano and turns her body to face you again,
“Do you live near? I feel like I would’ve run into you sooner if you did.” Sana says, looking at the can in her right hand.
“Uh - no. The nearest convenience store closes at 12, so I just drove around until I found one open.” You answer, “Do you live near?” You ask. You wonder if the question is too weird or creepy to ask, I mean, this is a woman you don’t know too well, and would it be weird to ask a person you find so attractive where they live?
“Kind of. It’s a fifteen-minute walk, maybe less, give or take. The one right next to my place is closed too.”
“You walked? At this time?” You question her. Worry takes over your whole body because she walked alone? In the dark? At this hour?
Sana just hums in response, “Yeah, the neighborhood is really quiet and not too bad.”
“Still, you should’ve driven or something.”
“I don’t drive.” She simply states. You furrow your brows. She just stares back at you with those big brown eyes, it almost makes you forget about worrying.
She walks past you and heads to the self-checkout, you follow. There's a sudden idea that pops up in your mind, and you usually wouldn't be so bold to suggest or ask anything so direct, but it's twelve in the morning and your mind is too scrambled to make or think of any decent decisions.
“Sana,” You murmur, voice just barely above a whisper as you find the confidence for what you’re about to say, “Uh- this might be a little weird to ask, but, um…” You stutter, why the hell are you stuttering? She’s staring at you with those large espresso-colored eyes that remind you of your job at the moment, and the longer she stares back at you the more your mind races. This woman has your heart doing flips and pounding through your chest, you can barely manage your thoughts and words,
“Yes?”
“Uh, could I take you home?” You finally say, barely managing to make eye contact with her and it’s a humbling experience as your usually leveled (at least you think) demeanor crumbles under the presence of this woman.
“You don’t have to. It’s late and I don’t want to cause you too much trouble, y/n.”
“I’d be much more troubled if I knew you were walking home alone at this time, I insist.”
“Alright then. Let me pay first.”
You pause for a moment and Sana just turns back around, scanning the chips and canned coffee she had in her basket. It’s almost 12:30 now, and a pretty girl is letting you take her home. This wonder of the world is letting your disheveled self take her home.
-
“You have a nice car,” Sana says. She's never had a thing for cars or really knew too much about them. She's only paid attention to Jihyo’s five-seat white Lexus and the black, modified BMW that belonged to her childhood friend Momo. Other cars don't really matter or stand out to her, but Sana’s interest in you grows when she first sees the green Mercedes. Five-seated car looks nice and neat from the outside, for some reason, it really catches her attention. When she sits in the passenger seat she’s hit with the smell of coconut and vanilla. There are two things hung from the internal rearview mirror: One, a small keychain of a koala, and two, a picture of you and Johnny.
Sana can’t help but smile at the picture of you two, you two look happy.
You start the engine and put on your seatbelt before putting the drink you bought in the cup holder. You press on the screen in your car and a slow jazz melody plays. Of course, it had to be a love song.
“I’ve never seen your tattoos up close, they’re really pretty.” Sana suddenly says as you start to move out of where you were parked. Her eyes scan from your upper forearm, where the tattoo started, and down to where it ended just below your wrist, “I only saw a bit of them when you had dropped Hana off the first day.” Sana added.
She wanted to add on about how she also noticed the tattoo just under your knuckles too, and how she found the ink on your skin so endearing. She wanted to tell you all about the things she found attractive about you. From the noticeable things like your bold features to the little things she’s noted in her mind from every meeting. The way you’d always run a hand through your beautiful hair once or twice, the eye contact you couldn’t hold with her, the way you bit the inside of your cheek when you were quiet, the way your fingers often tugged at the beaded bracelet on your hand, how cute it was to watch you say bye to your daughter, and various other little details. Sana wanted to tell you all about those things, but that would be incredibly weird, right?
“Oh, yeah, thank you. I got the tattoo on my forearm a couple of years ago. Hana picked out the butterfly on my hand last year, actually.” You say, looking at the screen of your car as you back up a bit, making sure you don’t hit anything.
“Oh, also, you can type the address on my phone. Here.” You add, handing her the device. Sana types in her address quickly and it pops up on the screen. It’s a quick 4-minute drive, and you both wished it were a bit longer.
The music continues to play softly while you two sit in silence, and it somehow makes the mood a bit more intimate whilst the faint sound of Ella Fitzgerald's voice echoes,
I stand and I wait
For the touch of your hand in the June night
The roses are sighing
A moonlight serenade
Your breath hitches, “Um, you can change the song if you want…” You say embarrassed. Sana shakes her head and mumbles,
“It’s alright. I like it, It’s cute.” She admits, making you blush a bit. You grip the wheel a little tighter as you stop at the red light. The heartfelt lyrics fill the air with a romantic hum, and only the tender melody is heard as you sit together in silence.
The stars are aglow
 And tonight how their light sets me dreaming
My love, do you know
That your eyes are like stars brightly beaming?
Sana’s heartbeat skips a little knowing that you listen to such romantic melodies, and she wonders if you love as romantically as such songs. Her mind wanders to the thought of you serenading her in the moonlight, or serenading her in a more domestic setting. The sudden thought of you humming along to these tunes while you cooked or cleaned allowed made her cheeks flush a bit. Jihyo was right: Sana is a hopeless romantic. She’s too far in to get out of the hole of these feelings, and her heart aches a little, the guilt piles up.
You on the other hand are freaking out.
Sana likes your lovey-dovey taste in music, and she seems content (Sana's having a crisis). Maybe you do have a chance with this woman, I mean, she’s already in your car and letting you take her home. Maybe you can do this again, maybe you can listen to songs like this together in a more intimate setting rather than your car, and maybe you can do more than just listen to Ella Fitzgerald together. All the maybe’s in your head are cut short as you reach her place and park in front of her apartment complex.
“We’re here.” You mutter, and you wish you weren’t.
Sana nods and reaches for the eco-friendly bag she had set down, unbuckles her seatbelt, then turns so that her eyes stare into yours with a new intensity. She puts her left hand on your right hand that had been gripping the gear shift ever so gently, your jaw tenses a bit and your left hand that had been on the wheel tightens its hold once more. She looks from your eyes to your lips, then back to your eyes again. Your heart is suddenly an acrobat the way it's doing so many flips.
“Thank you again, I appreciate it.” She says, and her other hand is on the handle of the door, ready to get out, but she doesn’t.
“Anytime, I didn’t want you to be out alone at this time.” you wonder how that sentence leaves your mouth so calmly because your heart is beating at least two hundred times per minute.
Sana’s lips curve into a smile again and you relax a bit,
“Well,” Sana starts, and she opens the door, “I’ll see you soon?”
“I’m picking up Hana on Monday.”
“Great. See you then, y/n.” She finally says, turning away and getting out of the car. You two look at each other again and your eye contact lingers a bit before she finally closes the door, waves, and turns to head inside the apartment complex.
The music continues to play, and your heart longs for her once again.
I stand at your gate
And I sing you a song in the moonlight
A love song, my darling
A moonlight serenade
-
A week passes after this encounter, and Sana is currently giving the kids an announcement that might have them jumping off the walls.
“Alright everyone in your seats please.” She says kindly. The students listen to her and shuffle to their seats, some chatter being shared as they do so. Sana claps her hands in a pattern to bring the students’ attention to her, and they clap their hands the same way that she had, quieting down in the process.
“Alright everyone, before I make this announcement, I need everyone to behave and not get too rowdy, okay?”
“Yes Ms. Minatozaki!” The class answers enthusiastically. Sana nods and smiles at them,
“Alright. So, there’s a special trip that is planned for you all next week.” She begins. The kids' faces start to light up after hearing the words “special trip” and almost all of them are itching to get more details on it. Sana’s face seems to light up with theirs from just looking at the excitement on their faces, so she continues,
“Next Wednesday we will be spending the day at the art museum downtown. There are going to be multiple people guiding you throughout the museum, and you’ll be able to learn about the art.” Sana explains, “And, at the end of the trip we’ll all meet back at a special room where you can paint along with an instructor.”
The kids’ smiles grow even wider, some are whispering to each other while others continue to keep their attention on the young teacher.
“Now, I also wanted to add that we will be needing some chaperones to help look after the class. I have some papers that I’ll give to you, make sure you show them to your mom, dad, or guardian. If they’d like to tag along to help out that would be great, and highly encouraged.” Sana says, pulling out a pile of papers from her desk, she begins to pass around said forms.
-
An hour passes and it’s free choice time. Hana walks up to the young teacher with the form that Sana had previously handed out. Sana smiles at the young girl and tilts her head,
“What is it, Hana? Is everything okay?” The young teacher questions,
“Um, Ms… What does guardian mean? You said mom, dad, and guardian earlier. Does that mean grown up?” Hana asks, and she looks at the paper as if her five-year-old self can read the whole thing with ease,
“I guess so. It’s an adult who takes care of you.” Sana explains to the girl. The girl hums to herself and furrows her brows,
“Does that mean y/n can come?”
“Of course, she’s your mom isn’t she?” Sana asks, and she’s confused as to why the girl looks up at her in surprise,
“My mom?”
“Yes… She’s your mom, no?”
“Ms. Minatozaki, Y/n is my aunt.”
Sana’s whole world stops for a moment. Y/n is her aunt?
“So your dad and her are…?”
“Y/n is my papa’s younger sister, she always jokes about him being so old,” Hana says, laughing to herself.
Sana genuinely stops functioning as she processes this new information: You’re not taken. Fireworks set off in her heart and confetti seems to pop: you’re not her mom. All the guilt that had been on her shoulders from thinking she was infatuated with a taken mother is gone, and it all makes sense now. Sana wonders how stupid she could’ve been, I mean, you and Hana’s dad had similar features, face shape, hair texture, and color. The young teacher had also realized that Hana only called you by your name, and not “mommy” or “mom” or anything like that; how could she have been so stupid?
“Ms. Minatozaki?”
“Oh, yeah, yes Hana. Y/n can come, of course, she can.” Sana says, and she really hopes you do come. Hana smiles and looks back at her paper before talking to her teacher again,
“You know, my aunt, she asks about you a lot.”
“She does?” Sana says, her heart skips a beat. Hana nods and looks back up at the teacher,
“She always asks about how school was, but she always ends up asking more about you and how you were during the day.” Sana’s eyes widen and she looks at the young girl in front of her, exposing you for being so interested in her.
The flame in her heart grows bigger, and it seems that the flame has no intention of dying down now that she knows you’re not Hana’s mother. Hana turns around and makes her way back to her desk to color after seeing that Sana wasn’t capable of responding again, and Sana doesn't even notice. Hana sits down unbothered, not knowing that she just turned Sana’s whole mood around, not knowing that this new piece of information will have her daydreaming the rest of the day – no, the rest of the week – maybe the rest of the month.
-
The school day comes to an end and the usual routine occurs: bell rings, kids scream, talk, and practically leap out of their seats to get in line to go to the entrance of the building. Sana waits with her usual group of eight, which includes Hana, and she hopes that today would be the day that you decided to pick her up. You had already picked Hana up on Monday, but now it’s Wednesday and those are the days that Hana’s dad would usually pick the little girl up, great.
-
Forty minutes pass and Sana sits down at the main office with Hana, no one had come to pick her up yet. Hana seems to be unbothered by this as she colors and draws on the sheet of paper that Sana had given her to cure her boredom, but she worries slightly since Jihyo still waits for her in the front.
Sana texts Jihyo a string of apologies and explanations and before she reads the instant reply, the sound of heavy breaths are heard as a familiar face enters the room, looking around all worried until her body relaxes when she sees her niece.
Y/n lets out a sigh of relief seeing Hana sitting down, coloring as if there wasn’t a single problem in the world. Her look shifts over to Sana, who is already looking at her. Their eyes meet and it makes the two women smile at one another.
“Hana,” your voice makes the little girl turn her head. She smiles and runs up to hug you, leaving her art on the desk,
“Aunt y/n!” And this is the first time Sana hears the little girl actually call you her aunt, she wishes that she would’ve called you aunt earlier (it would've saved her sleepless nights of wondering what the hell to do with her feelings, but at least she knows now).
You hug the little girl back and swipe away the strands of hair on her face, “Hi little one. Your dad had something come up at work, I rushed over as soon as my shift ended.” You explain. You turn back to share eye contact with the young teacher, eyes narrowing and lips curving upwards as you smile at her, “Thank you for watching her, I’m sorry for being so late.”
“It’s all right, really.” It’s more than all right, Sana thinks.
You grin again and turn your attention back to your niece, “Ready to go?”
“Yup!”
“Okay little one, come on.” and you crouch down to let her wrap around your shoulders, letting her piggyback ride you. You grab the art that your niece had made on the table and finally stand in front of Sana, thanking her.
“I’m sorry again, thank you so much.”
“It’s no problem, it’s nice to see you again,” Sana admits, a bit shyly too. The grin that’s already present on your lips grows and you wave to the shorter woman,
“I’ll see you.” You finally say, waving with your free hand and turning your head to the little one, “Let’s get going, your dad will be back by dinner.” You mutter, and Hana hums tiredly in response before you head out the main office doors, taking a quick glance at Sana, smiling again.
Jihyo’s going to lose her mind when I tell her all of this, Sana thinks to herself.

[1:05 AM] Kita Shinsuke
It's literally 1 AM and I need to share this sweet Kita that I've been hogging all to myself. He's just... something else. Lol. I write a lot about Suna and Sakusa but Kita definitely holds a special spot in my heart... or elsewhere.
Warning: fluff, angst (nothing between Shinsuke x Y/n), and explicit smut. Note: it is long - I don't think you guys ever complained, but I wanted to warn you guys regardless. .
Kita Shinsuke gently caressed his wife’s pregnant belly. Then, as she slept, a soft moan escaped her lips, and she nestled closer, seeking the warmth and comfort of his embrace.
A few months ago, when he met his son’s first-grade substitute teacher, Shinsuke couldn’t have imagined that he would feel a longing for another woman. Since his wife tragically passed away in a car accident, Shinsuke found himself single-handedly raising their two-year-old son with the support of his grandmother.
“Dad, we have a new teacher since Mrs. Fukada is home with her new baby.” Shinnosuke announced excitedly, “She has a new baby girl…” he paused, locking eyes with his dad, his gaze filled with longing. “Can I have a baby sister too?”
Great-grandma Shin giggled, patting the little boy’s head. “I wish for a baby sister for you, too, Nosuke.”
Shinsuke sighs softly, “I’ll see what I can do.”
Once night falls, Shinsuke gently places a steaming cup of tea before his grandmother, commencing their cherished nightly tea ritual. They found solace on the patio, engaging in their nightly heartfelt conversations.
“It is time you find a partner.”
Although he had anticipated this conversation would arise at some point, he found himself partially surprised by its timing, catching him off guard.
“Your boy needs a mother. I can only do so much. You need someone, and you should give him more siblings.”
It was always Shinsuke’s dream to have a big family. Moreover, he and Shinnosuke’s mother dreamed of more children after his birth.
“I’m just… I don’t know if I’m ready.” Even though it’s been a few years since her tragic death, he still loved her dearly.
“I know you will never be ready, but you can try.”
The following day he had promised to take his son to school to meet his new teacher, who, Shinnosuke promised, is very pretty.
“She doesn’t have a ring on her finger, dad.” Shinsuke suppressed his laugh, unsure where his son was going with the conversation. “Maybe she isn’t married yet, and you can marry her?”
“Son, that’s now how it works – “
“Hi, Shinnosuke. Is this your dad?”
The last time Shinsuke was ever starstruck was with his late wife.
Shinnosuke tugged his dad’s hand and spoke excitedly, “Dad! This is Ms. Y/n – my new teacher! Isn’t she pretty.”
True to his son’s words, she is pretty.
Gorgeous if Shinsuke was being honest.
He felt hot all suddenly.
“Hello,” he greeted, praying his face was not tomato-red. “I am Shinnosuke’s father, and I hope he has not been a handful.”
Her smile radiated warmth, captivating Shinsuke’s gaze.
As she stepped closer, a gentle fragrance of sweet perfume reached his nose. “Not at all,” she replied, her voice carrying a touch of admiration. “You have a remarkably well-behaved and intelligent son.” She affectionately tousled Shinnosuke’s hair, and he leaned into her touch like an adoring puppy.
Shinsuke longed for her hand to pat his head at that moment too.
.
Shinsuke attempted to keep his distance from Ms. Y/n. Instead, he would merely drop off his son outside of school, making arrangements to pick him up at the gates if he could, all to resist the overwhelming desire to do anything but kiss Ms. Y/n passionately until all his desires were fulfilled.
He could not give in to temptation.
But Shinsuke ran into Ms. Y/n everywhere.
At the grocery store.
At the salon.
At the clinic.
Complicating matters further, his son held a deep affection for her and frequently spoke about her with admiration.
His last hope for maintaining his distance and preserving his sanity unraveled when circumstances forced him to accompany his grandmother to the hospital due to a precautionary overnight admission for a cold. This left his son alone at home, intensifying his concerns.
“If you don’t mind, Kita-san, Shinnosuke can stay with me until great-grandma is released.” A look of surprise filled his eyes as he absorbed her thoughtful suggestion. Shinsuke was overwhelmed by the immense responsibility of managing his rice field, tending the crops, and caring for his grandmother; he struggled to ensure his son was never left alone at home.
Despite his gratitude towards her, he hesitated momentarily. However, when he glanced down at his son, whose eyes sparkled with anticipation, he couldn’t resist. “Please, dad?” his son pleaded, his excitement palpable.
Shinsuke sighed before agreeing; he crouched down, “You must listen to Ms. Y/n and behave.”
“Yes, dad.”
.
Shinnosuke was smitten by Ms. Y/n.
When Shinsuke arrived to pick up his son, he felt a pang of disappointment upon seeing his dad waiting at the door. “Do we have to go home, dad?” his son pleaded, his eyes longing. “Can’t we stay here with Ms. Y/n?”
“Shinnosuke,” Shinsuke called out his son’s name, his tone laced with a warning, the kind used when it was necessary to reestablish authority. Upon hearing his dad’s voice, his son’s shoulders slumped, and he turned away to retrieve his belongings. “Sorry,” Shinsuke apologized quietly, blushing under Y/n’s gaze.
“Don’t be. He is still young and doesn’t know any better.”
Shinsuke couldn’t help but observe her casual attire, with sweatpants and a loose shirt. “Regardless of that, he was being rude, and I need to have a conversation with him,” he stated, taking a deep breath. “thank you. I am truly grateful for your understanding and for looking after him. I can’t express my gratitude enough.”
“He was very helpful, I made him help me with chores, and we cooked together, so it wasn’t quite a vacation for him.”
Shinsuke’s throat tightened as he struggled to find his words. Nervousness consumed him to the core. “I…” he stammered, his voice quivering, “may I… may I take you out? It’s just my way of saying thank you.” As he uttered the question, her eyes bore into his soul, intensifying his anxiety. In that moment, panic surged through him as if he had ventured beyond the acceptable boundaries. “Please,” he hastily added, fearing she might feel obligated, “don’t feel obligated – “
“How about a date?” She interjected, catching him off guard. His eyes widened in surprise as her words sank in. “Take me out on a date,” she added, her tone laced with anticipation.
.
Nervousness consumed him throughout the date, hindering his ability to relax and enjoy the date fully. However, a wave of relief washed over him when Y/n reached across the table and gently touched his hand, reassuring him with a playful remark, “relax, I won’t bite.”
He wanted nothing but her to bite him because he only wanted to devour her.
They had dinner and walked along the river, getting snacks.
As they conversed about their lives and aspirations, Shinsuke watched her gracefully twirl and walked along the ledge, seemingly at ease.
Her warmth and vibrant personality enveloped him, and with each passing moment, he found himself falling deeper in love with her. Finally, stepping up beside her, he extended his hand, inviting her to grasp it as they walked along the ledge together.
“Kita-san,” she called softly, brushing loose strands of hair behind her ear. Concern etched across her face as she gazed into his eyes. “Is something troubling you?”
Y/n towered over him, her height surpassing his by two heads, causing him to tilt his gaze upward to meet her eyes.
Throughout his life, he had always been forthright with others, never shying away from expressing himself. However, he faced a challenging dilemma in this particular moment: between maintaining his hidden emotions or finally revealing everything. The decision weighed heavily on his mind, causing a moment of uncertainty.
He let out a sigh, realizing that he had nothing left to lose except for her. However, he knew deep down within himself that everything he had been feeling up to now surely meant something. He couldn’t possibly be the only one feeling this way. He had to be honest with her. It was a necessity, a longing that couldn’t be ignored.
“I really like you.” He responded in a hushed tone. “You’re a young single woman while I’m a single parent dad with a six-year-old son,” he began, acknowledging the difference in their life stages. “Yet, despite that, I haven’t felt this certain about anything in a long time. He found out tonight that he was seven years older than her.
“I must confess, Ms. Y/n, that I am undeniably attracted to you,” he admitted, his voice tinged with sincerity. “I apologize if my previous actions seemed rude, but I’ve been doing my best to keep my distance from you, to suppress these feelings I have for you.” He paused, carefully considering his words. “I don’t want to presume that you share the same sentiment, but every gesture, every glance, every smile you give me, they only deepen my desire for you.” A small smile curve his lips, “I can’t help but want more and more.”
A weighty silence hung in the air, the only sound being the gentle rustling of Y/n’s hair dancing in the wind. She fixed her gaze upon him, eyes locked in a wordless exchange.
“You have so many options, while I… I am limited,” he admitted with a hint of vulnerability. He paused, reflecting on the conversation they had just shared. “Listening to you speak of your goals just now; made me realize that perhaps we might be on different pages.” A furrow formed between his brows as he held her gaze, trying to discern her thoughts within her silence. “I might be over my head saying this, but I want to be upfront with you.” He exhales softly, “if Shinnosuke and I aren’t long-term possibilities for you… please tell me now so I can release you from any obligations.”
She playfully waved her fingers, beckoning him to come closer. As soon as he was within reach, she lightly flicked his forehead, a mischievous smile on her face. “You’re so mean to doubt my sincerity,” she teased, leaning to kiss the spot she flicked. “I wouldn’t be right here with you if I didn’t have deep feelings for you, too, Shinsuke.”
Hearing his full name uttered by her made his heart skip a beat.
He stares at her, looking at her longingly until she reciprocates the words, “I like you. I really like you too.” He releases his breath; he cannot contain the smile on his face. “Can I kiss you?” she whispered, leaning closer to him already.
“Please,” he begged.
Still leaning over the ledge, she brushed her lips against his before moving her mouth into a deep kiss.
She was the first to pull away, inhaling to catch her breath.
Shinsuke’s face turns a shade of pink, feeling lightheaded and on cloud nine.
Y/n stepped down from the ledge, and Shinsuke made a move to take her hand again, this time intertwining their fingers.
“Shinsuke, I might be bold asking you this on our first date, but… do you want more kids?”
Her question caught him off guard, but he quickly answered, “of course I do. Do you want children?”
She glanced at him, a smile on her lips, and she nodded. “I do.”
He smirked, “how many?”
“Maybe… two or however many…” she glanced at him from the corner of her eyes, “my future husband wants.”
Shinsuke was flustered by this woman, arousing him in all ways.
Glancing at his watch, Shinsuke couldn’t help but wish that the night could stretch on indefinitely. However, he also wanted to be a gentleman and ensure she arrived home before 10 PM.
She was about to keep walking down the path when he halted her. “Y/n,” he called her name softly, “I don’t – I don’t want the night to end, but I want to be a gentleman and bring you home….”
“Then don’t…”
His brow raised at her question, “what?”
She stepped forward, staring at him, “don’t be a gentleman then.”
He let out a low groan, his throat constricting as he struggled to suppress the lump forming within. “Please… stop,” he managed to choke out.
She closed the distance between them, eliminating any space that could fit even a piece of paper. Her large, doe-like eyes locked onto his, causing his knees to weaken and his palms to grow sweaty, and cock to expand excitedly inside his trousers. Finally, she whispered, “what do you want, Shinsuke?”
.
They barely made it through her apartment doors when he pulled and tugged her clothes off.
“Bedroom,” he growled against her mouth, “please,” he begged seconds later. Trails of clothes led to her bedroom; he could barely spare a second to break away from her lips to pull his shirt over his head.
Her blouse and skirt were discarded by her ankle, and he pulled away to admire her. He reaches behind, unclasping the clips to her bra and letting it slide off her body. Then, with her white panties left, he released a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding, feeling a wave of relief wash over him. Then, he locked his gaze with her, searching for a reflection of the fiery, passionate emotions that consumed him.
He doesn’t realize he has been biting his lower lip until she reaches up to tug it free. “Shin…” She guides his right hand to her breast, and his large rough hands instantly palm the mound, kneading the soft tissue, earning himself a soft moan from her. “More,” she begged, pressing the other hand to the other side. “Touch me, please.”
Shinsuke kisses her hungrily while his hands massage, squeeze, and flicker the hardened nubs. Her tongue meets his eagerly, dancing and swirling with his.
He pulls away to tug his belt, undoing the buttons before letting his trousers drop to his ankles. Even in the dim light in her room, he could see the damp, dark spot where his cock was leaking.
She drops onto her knee before him, and his eyes widen before he can stop her; she pulls the waistband of his boxers, freeing his cock. She was mesmerized by how thick his girth and heavy his sacks hung.
It had been a long time for Shinsuke and having Y/n’s fixed gaze on him only excited him more.
“Y/n…” he breathed; whatever else he had to say went down the gutter as her lips enclosed around the thick bulbous head. He lets out several foul words as she takes as much of his cock into her mouth, her jaw expanding to fit the width of his cock.
Y/n slurped and suckled to the point that Shinsuke felt he would embarrass himself soon if he didn’t stop her.
She pulled back but not releasing him when he gripped her hallow cheeks gently, “enough… or else I won’t last.” He steps back, freeing his cock from her lips with a pop. “Please stand.”
She did, and it was his turn to get down on her knee to pull her remaining piece of clothing down her legs. He looks up at her with a soft smile, “please take a seat on your bed.” She follows his command, and he spreads her legs and swoops in between, licking along her slit to her small, hidden nub.
Shinsuke slips a finger inside her, slowly thrusting before adding two additional fingers. He wanted to stretch her out; he didn’t want her to be uncomfortable when he replaced his fingers with his cock.
He had always perceived himself to have an average-size physique down there until one day, his under-classmate, Miya Atsumu, announced it loud in clear to the entire volleyball team in the locker room.
“Holy shit, Kita-senpai!”
Shinsuke had left his towel on the bench by his locker and had no choice but to return after a quick rinse completely naked. Everyone was getting dressed and didn’t bother paying attention to him until Atsumu casually glanced over and then had to double look, eyes bulging as he stared at Shinsuke’s private area.
And like boys, they all compared their sizes amongst each other.
That day, Kita Shinsuke was not only the captain of the boys’ volleyball team but also the thickest down there.
“Shin,” Y/n whispered, “you… I want you.”
He sat up, fingers still buried and working within her as he leaned over and kissed her. “Need to prep you – I don’t want to hurt you.”
She reached for his cock; her small hand felt good around it; he couldn’t wait to feel what her walls felt like. “You won’t hurt me… I can take it…”
The innocent teacher he was smitten by is replaced by a teasing minx. “You sure?” He teased, “what if you cannot walk tomorrow?”
Her grip squeezed around his cock, “thank goodness tomorrow is the weekend then?” she leaned to peck his chin, “Shinsuke, fuck me, fuck me until I can’t walk tomorrow….”
A low grumble escaped his throat before she was shifted onto the middle of the bed, he paused, and she sensed hesitancy. “I… don’t have a condom.”
“I don’t either.”
Shinsuke groaned as she unconsciously bit her lower lip. “I can pull out; do you trust me?”
She locked eyes with him, her gaze unwavering. “Shinsuke, if I didn’t trust you completely, you wouldn’t be here right now.”
He chuckled and kissed her quickly, “stop making me fall for you.” He whispered that and impaled her in a swift thrust. His forehead pressed against hers as neither could speak but only feel one other. He gave her a second to adjust and accommodate his size before she gave him the silent green light.
He gave light shallow thrusts until the pained expression became a pleasant expression.
Shinsuke needed to not only feel her deep inside but needed to press himself against her. He held his weight off her, but his chest pressed against her.
He threads his fingers through hers again, pinning her arms beside her head. He fastened his hips, thrusting deeper each time and feeling his heavy sacks ricochet against her ass.
God, he wanted to breed her.
The animal instinct in him just wanted to breed her over and over. Impregnate her so she will be stuck with him forever—he and Shinnosuke.
He was already pinning her down; all he had left to do now was cum inside her… forcing her to take his seed.
He would cum inside her over and over until she was overfilled to ensure his seed took place, and a baby… their baby is conceived.
But that would be for another time.
“Y/n…” he groaned, feeling ready to explode. It has been a very long time since he’s ejaculated. He needed to withdraw now in case his timing was off. “You feel so – “ his words are lost when he feels her legs wrap around his waist and arms around his neck. “Y/n – no… I’m – about to –“
As their bodies pressed together, her chest brushing against his, she locked eyes with him. Her gaze was filled with seductive allure, her eyes hooded and shimmering with a glossy sheen, “cum – cum inside Shin… cum inside me….”
“You –“ he tried to shake off her legs, but they only locked tighter, “you don’t know what you’re asking for…”
“Give me a baby, our baby….”
He quickly succumbed to the overwhelming pressure, causing him to crumble.
“As many as I want?” When she looked at him, slightly confused, “many as I want? Right? I’ll marry you, and you’ll give me as many babies as I want?” She did not need to answer him verbally; he felt her walls squeeze him repeatedly as her womb screamed Yes! Yes! Yes!.
He let go of her hands, hooked his arms underneath her legs, and hiked them over his shoulders. He mounted on her, bending her in half before pounding into her, “you’re mine, Y/n. Kita Y/n. Mine.”
He embraced her passionately, envisioning a future where they shared the same surname, and eagerly anticipated the joy of starting a family together.
“Y/n,” he let out a soft moan near her ear, his body quivering in a release as both their bodies trembled together.
.
“Shin,” Y/n whimpered, “how – how can you… too much…” She could barely lift a finger. However, Shinsuke has been going nonstop. Finally, after three rounds back-to-back, he wiped her down and laid beside her after truly making sure she would not be able to walk.
He has pushed her beyond her limits, bending and pushing her into positions she had never felt so vulnerable.
She lost count of how often they’d engaged in such intensive intimacy.
It was early morning when his husky voice woke her up, his hands grazing her sensitive body and shifting her so he could slide in easily.
It was in the moment when she blabbered, permitting him to cum inside of her.
She wouldn’t be surprised if she were pregnant after these sessions. She learned of Shinsuke’s breeding kink – cumming inside her with an excessive amount of cum that the both of them were a mess of body fluids.
He whispered lewd words into her ear, telling her how good she was at taking in all his seeds. He could not wait to marry and see her round with his baby… babies because he wanted a big family. He was a man of his word, ensuring she would be pregnant after he was done.
And he was nowhere to be done.
She lay flat on her front side; his grip on her waist had become numb as he pounded into her from behind.
.
Y/n busied herself with setting the table, briefly glancing up as Shinnosuke murmured something she couldn’t quite catch.
He finished setting the table with her when he came around to her side, tugging the apron she wore.
She crouched down to his eye level, “what’s wrong?”
He leaned in closer, his tiny hands cupping her ear as he whispered with a mixture of nervousness and anticipation, “can I… can I call you mommy?”
Y/n’s eyes widened with surprise as she gazed at him before responding, “do you want me to be your mommy?”
He nodded, his silver hair with dark tips fluttering, resembling his father’s. “I pray with granny every night, hoping you’ll become my mommy,” he confessed earnestly.
A month ago, Shinsuke and Y/n told Shinnosuke they were dating and seeing each other. Shinnosuke was overjoyed, sharing the information with all his friends and other school staff the next day.
Shinnosuke cherished the morning walks to school, gripping his dad’s and Ms. Y/n’s hands tightly. It filled him with a sense of warmth and belonging.
Y/n started to spend dinner with them and would head home after Shinnosuke went to bed. Then, of course, Shinsuke would take her home…
“Move in with me,” Shinsuke whispered; every night after their few rounds of lovemaking, he would ask the same question again.
As always, Y/n would answer softly, “soon.”
He would return home in the morning before Shinnosuke woke up.
Y/n gently ran her fingers through Shinnosuke’s hair, a tender expression of affection on her face. She adored the young boy, and in the brief period they had spent together, her heart had opened to this father and him. She had fallen in love with both of them deeply.
From the moment she first encountered Kita Shinnosuke, something about the boy inexplicably drew her in. As she inquired about his name and hobbies, his reserved yet bashful demeanor instantly sparked a connection within her.
“I like to garden with my dad.” He answered quietly, avoiding eye contact.
Every morning, she instinctively searched for him in her classroom, ensuring he was present. He was an intelligent and radiant student, and she cherished every moment with him. However, she couldn’t help but notice that his grandmother always picked him up after school while the other parents collected their children.
Y/n asked him one afternoon as she waited with him for his grandmother to show up. Shinnosuke was usually the last student picked up. “My dad is busy with the crops, so he doesn’t get home until after school; that is why my granny picks me up.”
Something deep within her urged her not to probe any further regarding his mother, as he seldom spoke about her.
It wasn’t until Mother’s Day that she organized an activity for all the students to create artwork to gift to their mothers. As the day drew to a close, she noticed Shinnosuke still seated at his desk, gazing at her. Concerned, she asked him, “Shinnosuke, why aren’t you getting ready to go home?” Then, she crouched down and inquired, “is everything all right?”
He nodded his head, a small smile on his face. “I have something to give you.”
Y/n raised a brow, “do you?”
He nodded his head again and pushed his artwork towards her. “Can I give this to you? I don’t have a mommy.”
Y/n’s heart ached for the boy. Everything suddenly made sense to her – why he rarely mentioned his mother.
By the grace of God, she met his father the next day.
And fell in love with him.
“What are you two whispering about?” Shinnosuke and Y/n spun around to find Shinsuke leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed and one leg over the other. His brow raised as he observed them. “Are you two planning something without me?”
Shinnosuke chewed his lower lip nervously. “I asked Ms. Y/n if I could call her mommy.”
Y/n shared glances between father and son, noting the striking similarity in their expressions. She has seen some photos of
“And what did Ms. Y/n say?”
The boy anxiously glanced at Y/n, awaiting her response.
Y/n reached out and gently took hold of his tiny hands, cradling them in her own. “Shinnosuke,” she said softly, “you can call me whatever you feel comfortable with. If you want to call me mommy, I would be honored.”
His hazel-green eyes welled up with tears,  and he turned to glance at his dad as if seeking confirmation that he wasn’t the only one who heard it.
Y/n shifted her gaze to see Shinsuke approaching them. He crouched on one knee, stepped forward, and presented a small black velvet box. Then, with a heartfelt tone, he spoke, “Y/n, would you also be honored to be called my wife?”
“Please, mommy?” Shinnosuke pleaded, his eyes filled with anticipation, mirroring his dad’s hopeful expression.
“Will you marry me, Y/n? And join us here, with Shinnosuke, granny, and me?” Shinsuke’s quivered with emotion, but he pressed on, his eyes locked with hers. “Together, we can create the family we’ve always dreamed of and build a life together as partners.”
Y/n’s voice caught in her throat as tears streamed down her face, struggling to regain composure. She hastily wiped away the cascading tears, desperately seeking an explanation. “Did you two… plan this?” she choked out.
In a striking display of synchronicity, the father and son exchanged lopsided grins before responding, “yes.”
A soft sniffle escaped her as she gathered herself, her voice filled with emotion. “Yes,” she replied, her eyes glistening with tears, “I would be deeply honored to be your wife, Kita Shinsuke.”
Shinsuke exhaled deeply, a sense of relief washing over him as he reached into the box and retrieved the ring. Sliding it onto her finger gently, he leaned in and tenderly kissed her hand. Then, without hesitation, he pulled her into a warm, embracing hug, his voice filled with sincerity. “I love you, Kita Y/n.” Finally, he gently released his embrace on her and extended his arms to welcome his son into the fold. “We’re a family now,” he murmured, voice filled with warmth and joy.
.
Life immediately changed in the Kita household.
Y/n and Shinsuke were married quickly in a small and intimate gathering; they exchanged heartfelt vows, surrounded by those who witnessed their profound commitment and their undeniable love for each other.
Neither could believe that a year had elapsed in such a short time.
As summer arrived and the children enjoyed their break from school, Y/n began to notice the subtle changes in her body. After confirming her suspicions, she felt a mix of excitement and anticipation. Finally, the time had come to share the joyous news with her husband, letting him know she was finally pregnant.
Shinsuke couldn’t help but feel and act surprised and delighted as Y/n shared her news, even though he had already suspected it for some time. The unmistakable pregnancy glow, her fatigue, and the increased sensitivity during their lovemaking had all been telltale signs. Deep down, he had known all along, but hearing her confirm it brought him a renewed sense of joy and anticipation.
The physical changes to her body had become more apparent, making it difficult to conceal the news longer. Y/n leaned close to Shinsuke, her voice barely above a whisper, filled with excitement. “Shinsuke,” she breathed, her eyes sparkling, “we’re having twins.”
And he couldn’t have expected anything less. A wide smile spread across his face as he embraced Y/n, his heart brimming with joy and excitement for the blessing of twins.
. . .
E/n: To be clear, we know between the Inarizaki boys... Aran is probably the longest... I hope you enjoy my version of Shinsuke - in my head, he is definitely the top HQ character with the biggest breeding kink.

Maybe Max is new to his neighborhood and hears about his direct neighbor, Daniel but never sees him. Realizes he sees lights in the townhouse next door at very random times but no one else seems worried.
Their mutual neighbour Vicky checks on the house for Daniel often. Because he apparently keeps weird hours. She feeds is fish for him.
Anyway he's heard a lot about this guy, the neighbors at their end of the cul de sac love him, even though he's often absent. And they take care of things for him. Daniel's lawn never gets unruly, and someone takes in his mail for him. Max wonders just how safe it is for so many people to have a key to your home. Especially if they know you're not there. They always talk about seeing him and Max can never say hes had the pleasure.
It's probably almost 3 months of that when Max gets home late one evening from a night out. He sees a lone lamp light on in Daniel's house and the front door is open. Max is on alert.
He goes to the house, slowly. He has Vicky on speed dial but it's like 1 am so he'll assess then call the police if anything. He goes up the stairs and pushes the door open, there's shuffling upstairs- definitely the sound of someone rummaging.
Max is no hero, he calls the police. Fifteen minutes later and there's a patrol car. The officer that gets out, Esteban, doesn't seem too worried about the situation. Which makes Max annoyed because he very clearly stated that the robber person was still in the house.
Esteban walks to the front door, doesn't even draw his gun.
"ki Ki ki" he calls out, weirdly. Max furrows his brow in confusion
"rraaa rrraa!" Calls from inside. Esteban chuckles and enters the house, Max follows him.
"Danny, you left your door unlocked again. Your neighbor is worried." Esteban reprimands up the stairs.
"ah shit. Right. My bad." A sharp accented voice groans then there was the sound of rapid footsteps down the staircase. A man jumped onto the bottom landing and Max swallowed thickly.
A tangle of curly hair, framed a hot face pulled back in a chagrined smile. Corded muscle bulged as he rubbed the back of his head. He wore a dirty tight blue shirt and large, navy almost cargo pants that Max recognized as those from a fireman.
His hot neighbor was a fireman.
"Sorry about all the trouble. Thanks for like looking out though." His neighbor, Danny, greeted, sticking his hand out for a handshake. Which Max took.
"oh it's- it's no problem. Can't be too safe y'know? I'm Max by the way."
"Daniel. Sorry we're literally meeting like a thief in the night or whatever. Vicky told me you'd moved in, but we've been short shifted at the station." Daniel explained and Max blushed that Vicky had updated Daniel about him.
"are we all good here? I'm gonna tell dispatch that you're buying a box of donuts for the night shift." Esteban teased and Daniel groaned again
"I'll remember to close the door!" He called when Esteban left.
"I take it this happens often?" Max asked and Daniel blushed.
"too often," he grumbled. "When I do a double or triple I tend to forget that doors aren't like self closing outside of the station."
Max snorted, he could see the problem.
"I hope I'm not coming off as creepy or anything but do you wanna like get some coffee? After I've maybe slept for thirteen hours?" Daniel hedged and Max smiled.
"We can have it at my place." Max offered and Daniel grinned back.
"Sure."

Hey I was reading your yandere Azul fanfic for like the 50th time and I had this idea for a request:
Can you do the other overblot boys in similar situations?
Also when are we going to have Azul's redemption arc when we get trapped in Scariba?
Have a lovely day/night/morning/afternoon
Why, greetings my dear anon! I’m happy that you enjoyed the ‘Poor Unfortunate Souls’ to read it that many times - and I apologized that I haven’t been able to get started on the Scarbia segment yet (between that and Raison D’être plus work & other stories… and GloMas, I really need to get my priorities straight seriously -_-). However, I do intend on working on it as soon as I can so I can get it out sometime this month or in December - I mean, I think that would be the most logical since that one takes place during holiday break, right?
Now, for your request - I hope head cannons are alright for the time being. I’ll try to come back to them and do short stories for each of them that follows the same concept design as “Am I Feeling Love?” - which is the first installment of the Yandere!Azul series. I'm also going to divide this into two parts - about halfway through I realized I hadn't posted anything in a while and thus, I want to make it up to all of you for not writing or posting anything for some time.
Part 1 (Here) will feature Riddle Rosehearts, Leona Kingscholar, and Jamil Viper
Part 2 (Here) will feature Vil Schoenheit, Idia Shroud, and Malleus Draconia
***
Riddle Rosehearts:
Tumblr media
Yandere Riddle is more of the controlling type - that much is certain. While during his youth, he came across a story about ‘soulmates’ - and the idea of someone made for him took root like a weed in the rose garden. Although his mother ordered for him to dismiss the idea as nothing but a fairytale, Riddle could not push the idea away and it slowly became a source of comfort and drive - if he could stand out both in academics and athletics, surely his soulmate would recognize him as their other half. (There really was no way for him to search for his other half while trapped under his mother’s unwavering gaze, especially after the tart incident.)
When he saw you in the mirror chamber for the first time many years later, he was awestruck by your grace and beauty, reminding him of how the queen of heart once was long ago… the problem was your impeccable timing. You had the worst sense of direction as well as time - quite literally to the point that he had to give you several (and I mean like five to ten) different watches to have on your person so you wouldn’t run late for your scheduled tea time and after school lessons with him (which he made a priority to keep an eye on your movements, especially with the way you hang around the ADuo).
He likes that you have a favorite tea flavor, but hates that you drink it. All. The. Time. (“There are other teas, you know?” he tells you softly, trying to reign in his urge to yell at you for drinking your tea when you should be drinking the green tea with honey that is required following a lesson with him.)
He recognizes you for your hard work - often watching you from the shadows when time permits as you paint the roses red, care for the hedgehogs, feed the flamingos in that pink attire he provided for you, and assist with the dorm’s random tea party celebrations. Riddle also enjoys your conversations - even though he would like it better if you opened your mouth and stopped speaking so quietly (“Look up, speak nicely. AND DON’T TWIDDLE YOUR FINGERS! Turn out your toes, curtsy, open your mouth a little wider and always say, ‘Yes, Housewarden Riddle.’" He’s constantly reminding you.)
The one thing he can not stand though: your friendship with Duece and Ace and the furball menace. He has added a new rule to the roster: ‘Rule #687: (Y/N) is to always be supervised by either Trey Clover or Cater Diamond when not in the presence of the housewarden.’ (It’s for your wellbeing, after all. Trey and Cater are much more reliable than those two annoying freshmen and fire-breathing direbeast.)
However, his real breaking point is when you side with Ace and Duece following the ‘collaring’. He wouldn’t have dreamed in a million years that you would’ve sided with them over him. He was only trying to look out for your best interests… the best interests of the dorm… He was supposed to be the one…
Leona Kingscholar:
Tumblr media
Yandere Leona is more of the… dependent type. During his youth, one lazy afternoon, his older brother was talking to him about how he read in his studies about a certain smell that would allow him to know if his soulmate was nearby. Leona had at first shrugged it off, not really caring - after all, he wasn’t going to be king… why should he worry about finding the right one? He didn’t need annoying little brats running circles around him like his nephew did already… what a pain.
That changed the moment you entered the mirror chamber. Your scent wafted through the air and tickled Leona’s nose like a call of a hornbill to its mate. Leona could feel a need rising within him - a sudden need to protect and lay claim to you as his. And when the mirror turned you away, Ruggie was surprised when he stepped forward, offering a place to stay in Savanclaw.
It was no surprise to anyone that Leona decided to make you his personal gopher (although he knew that he couldn’t rely on you 24/7 as you weren’t allowed to attend the school - not that he cared much anyway for classes). During practice, you would bring water and snacks - the housewarden always scruffing the top of your head and messing your hair up, offering a cheeky grin that no one had seen before. In the dorm, you would sit with him and look over his homework and studies - Ruggie nearby to help you understand what was being taught, considering that this was something far beyond your understanding - especially since you had no magic ability either.
Speaking of which, Ruggie was the only other person - besides Leona - that was allowed to get close to you. Any other student that attempted to get within a foot of you would suffer under Leona’s frightening stare before choking on ‘King’s Roar’ until they begged for mercy when you weren’t around.
When the spelldrive tournament came up - and you unknowingly found out about the plan to hurt another student - you confronted Leona about it. Leona tried to play innocent - pretending not to know what you were talking about, Ruggie assisting with the typically ‘innocent until guilty’ look that he often gave you.
His last straw was when you and Jack warned the others of Savanaclaw's plan - the housewarden of Heartslabyul and his students effectively coming to your aid. Leona thought he could trust you… that you would respect him and love him as the king he was supposed to be…
Jamil Viper
Tumblr media
Jamil is your typical stalker type - wanting to know about your every move, it’s ingrained in him after all. During his youth, he - along with the other servants of the Al-Asim home - would watch over the young masters as they grew up, one eye always on the lookout for danger that could befall the family. Kalim - as sweet and carefree as he was - would often spend time in Jamil’s presence, chewing his ear off with stories and such, Jamil often ignoring what he said or taking everything with a grain of salt. However - the story of the Scalding Sands princess and the thief never completely left his mind. Legends stated that the two were fated to be together - and the land had been prosperous during their reign. Jamil would often turn the story over in his mind a handful of times, but tsk at the idea of soulmates. It was only a fairy tale… right?
That changed the moment he saw you in the mirror chamber - your eyes wide by everything that was different and strange to you. If Jamil was honest, he thought back to the story of the desert princess and the thief right then and there - he imagined himself as the thief and you as the princess, and the longing that filled him had to be the same as it was for the thief when he had seen the princess’ beauty for the first time. It was easy to persuade Kalim to let you stay in Scarabia, using ‘Snake Whisper’ to charm him into allowing the headmaster for you to stay. Once within the safe confines of the dorm, Jamil offered for you to assist him with taking care of Kalim (“Trust me, my little desert flower,” he tells you, “things aren’t always as they seem. You will get what’s coming to you.”)
Speaking of which - like Azul’s pet name of ‘Angelfish,’ Jamil refers to you as ‘Desert Flower.’ When you asked why that was, Jamil would cough and say something about how you reminded him of the flowers back in the Scalding Sands - particularly the Desert Hyacinth (which is a parasitic plant, oddly enough).
Regardless, Jamil enjoys spending time with you - when not chasing Kalim around. In the evenings, when the dorm is asleep, he finds the evenings quite relaxing in your presence; playing Mancala on the carpeted flooring after having his feet rubbed in oil to alleviate the tension and pain from all the hard work he did. When he asks if there’s anything he can do for you in return, you simply smile and shake your head, explaining how you’re thankful for his kindness and generosity for keeping you company in the late evenings when you both know he should be getting rest.
However, as the holiday season approaches and the rest of the school heads home for the holidays, Jamil notices your disappearance one night - making him frantic to know where you had disappeared to. That fear turns into seething rage when you return with an octopus and two eels in tow - Jamil demanding to know what the meaning of this is. Out of the goodness of your heart, you explain that you sought help for him and Kalim - especially with Kalim’s strange mood swings making you more and more nervous with each passing day. The presence of the scheming octomer and his twin pals makes Jamil more on edge than ever - watching from the shadows as you and Kalim turn to your new allies. It would seem… desperate times call for desperate measures.
The look on your face when it’s revealed that he was the one behind the changes in Kalim’s behavior was enough to shatter Jamil’s heart into a thousand pieces - like a glass lamp crushed under the weight of stone. The fear… the anger… the resentment towards Kalim has become centerfold - but Jamil could never hate you… his little desert flower. If only he was headwarden… if he was in charge… none of this would have happened… it was all Kalim’s fault, after all…

————
You groan in your bed, your fever spiking to an almost unbearable temperature. You spend a lot of time in bed nowadays—ever since your best friend died almost a year ago, you haven’t had the drive to do much. But being sick the past week has only confined you to your bed even more.
You roll over, hoping the other half of your pillow is somehow cooler than the side you’re on now. It’s not, and your body feels like it’s going to overheat. If it was possible to put less clothing on, you would, but the chances of your roommate coming in and seeing you naked are too high.
Speaking of your roommate, you know that when Dick comes home and sees how bad your temperature has gotten, he’ll rush you to the hospital. Paranoid, big brother Dick who insists he can’t lose another friend. Dick, who moved in with you a few months after Wally died because he was afraid you might hurt yourself. Dick, who forced you to put socks on and keep most of your clothes on because even though you feel hot, he knows you’re still vulnerable to the cold.
The socks scratch at your ankles now and you long to pull them off, lazily dragging your feet together. You squeeze your eyes shut, trying to calm your burning nerve ends.
As much pain as you’re in, this is the most you’ve felt since Wally died. From the day you watched him get vaporised, everything around you has just gotten duller by the day. You can hardly stomach to put on your costume, let alone look at Barry or Bart. Even seeing The Flash on the news is enough to make you sick.
“Y/n,” a soft voice echoes from the bed next to you.
You force your eyes open, your dark room greeting you. “Hello?”
There’s no answer, and you’re able to close your eyes again. You relax into your bedsheets, kicking the blankets off of your legs in a desperate attempt to get some relief. Clearly your fever has spiked to the point where you’re losing it.
“Y/n!” The voice is stronger now, and it sounds more desperate than before. More than that—there’s something familiar to it.
You open your eyes again and gasp, all of the breath leaving your body. There, sitting on the bed next to you, is Wally. His green eyes are full of concern, his mouth pulled into a tight line.
“Oh god,” you whine, “I really am losing it.”
You squeeze your eyes shut, willing the hallucination of your dead best friend to go away. How could any god be so cruel to inflict this on you? Knowing how you felt about Wally—and what he’d said to you during your last moments together?
When you open your eyes again, he’s still sitting there. His unruly red hair is falling into his face and all you want is to reach out and brush it away.
“You’re not losing it,” he says.
“I’m so sick that I’m hallucinating my dead best friend. How is that not losing it?”
He shrugs. “I mean it does sound pretty crazy, but I’m here, aren’t I?”
“You’re dead,” you say simply, voice void of emotions. “You died and you left and you’re never coming back.”
“I got better.”
Everything about him screams Wally. His voice, his mannerisms, even the stupid jokes he makes. But you know it’s just your brain playing a stupid trick on you. Your braincells have overheated and you’re left staring at a ghost.
“No, you didn’t. And you never will, Wally. And I know that so I don’t get why my stupid brain can’t leave this alone.”
He lays down on his side next to you, looking up at you with those doe eyes. “There wasn’t a body, you know.”
His words make you angry, they make you choke on the lump in your throat. But he’s right. Something about his death always seemed wrong to you, and even after this long, you still can’t accept it. He’s saying all of the right things, and it almost makes you believe hes really here.
“So say you are here…why now? Why here? Why am I the only one who’s seen you?”
He strokes his chin, pretending to be deep in thought. “I don’t really know, y/n. I’ve been here the whole time. I’ve watched everything. I know how hard things have been for you guys…”
You don’t say anything, just staring at him expectantly, forcing him to keep talking.
“I’m sorry you’re sick, but I’m glad Dick is taking care of you.”
“Answer the question, Wally. Why now?”
He sighs. “I think it’s because you’re sick. I think once your fever got past a certain point you were able to hear me, and once you could hear me, you could see me.”
“How would that even work?” You squint at him, “how did you even know I could hear you?”
“I didn’t it’s just—it’s a habit to talk to you, you know? But anyway, I think it has something to do with the speed force being attracted to the release of energy, and whenever you have a fever, you release massive amounts of it. But since yours is so high…” he gestures at himself for emphasis.
“So as long as I stay sick, I can see you?”
“I think so.”
“Then I never want to get better,” you murmur.
“Y/n,” he sighs, and the tone he uses makes you freeze. You’ve only ever heard him use it once before—with you on the day he died.
The thought brings a tear to your eye, his words echoing in your ears. I love you, y/n, I always have. I’ll be back for you, okay?
When Dick gets home from work, he’s surprised to hear you talking. His first instinct is that you’re feeling better and you’re arranging to go back to work, but as he gets closer to your bedroom door, he realizes it’s not the case.
He listens in for a bit, hearing a one sided conversation. As soon as he hears you say ‘Wally’, he’s barging through your door only to find you talking to the air.
“Dick!” You cry out, gesturing to the empty bed next to you, “look! He’s back, he’s here. Wally’s here!”
Dick’s heart aches for you. You’re clearly unwell and in your feverish state, your mind is playing tricks on you.
“Y/n,” Dick sighs, “I think it’s time we go to a doctor.”
He approaches your bedside slowly, trying not to startle or upset you. He knows you’re hallucinating, and he really doesn’t want to trigger anything worse to happen.
He kneels at your bedside, just behind Wally. “Come on, we need to get you to the hospital.”
“N-no! I can’t leave Wally!”
Wally’s face crinkles up the way it always has when he feels guilty. “Y/n, I think you should go with Rob.”
“No!” You cry out, “you can’t leave me again!”
Dick gives you no warning before he’s pulling you into his arms, your feverish skin scorching his. He holds you securely, even as you cry and beg him to take you back to Wally.
“Wally, please! Do something! Let him see you! Don’t—don’t leave me again!”
“Y/n,” Dick rubs your sweaty hair out of your face. “It’s gonna be okay. You’re really sick, and you’re hallucinating, but we’ll make you all better. I just need you to trust me.”
You take a deep breath, and then another, looking over Dick’s shoulder at the redhead sitting on your bed, giving you a sad look. He gives you a wave, “it’s okay, y/n. Everything will be okay.”
You just hope he’s right.
The hospital takes an eternity to admit you, leaving you lying on Dick’s lap in the waiting room. You keep your eyes closed, hoping that if you open them Wally will be there, but you know he won’t.
Dick strokes your hair, rubs your back, does anything he can to keep you comfortable. When a nurse finally calls your name, he helps you to your feet and half carries you down the hall.
They leave the two of you in a small, isolated room with a bed covered in scratchy sheets. Dick helps you climb up while the nurse insists a doctor will be by shortly.
Dick holds your hand the whole time, the skin on his palm turning sweaty from where your hand touches his. Your fever has only gone up since you left the house and you feel like you’re going to burn alive.
Finally, a doctor comes in and she starts to run all kinds of tests on you. After a while, they insert an IV into your arm and push fluids to keep you hydrated. They give you medicine to help you drift off to sleep, your eyes fluttering shut before you realize what’s happening.
You wake up a few hours later, Dick no longer asleep at your bedside. Your temperature has gone down, and while you still feel feverish, you’re coherent enough to know what’s going on around you.
“—hallucinating our best friend who died almost a year ago.” Dick tried to keep his voice down but you can hear it from the hallway.
“It’s common in extremely high fever’s to experience visual, auditory and sometimes even tactile hallucinations,” the doctor explains. “Y/n’s fever was beyond high enough to cause any number of these complications.”
Your shoulders slump. You knew deep down that Wally wasn’t really there, that he was a hallucination, but a part of you just hoped…
“But it’s going to be alright? There’s not any permanent side effects?”
The doctor sounds tired of Dick’s questions. “No, we’re keeping y/n overnight for observation but there shouldn’t be any long term side effects.”
Dick thanks the woman and slips back into your room, stopping in his tracks past the door when he realises you’re awake. “How are you feeling?” He whispers.
“Somewhat better,” you admit. “Not hallucinating anymore.”
He sits in the chair next to your bed and squeezes your hand. “That’s good to hear.”
“I-I’m sorry if I upset you earlier…talking about Wally and everything. I just—it seemed so real, you know? He was right there, Dick.”
“I know. You don’t need to apologize. Your mind was playing tricks on you, n/n. I know you didn’t mean any harm by it.”
You can’t help the tears that trickle down your cheeks. “I just—I miss him so much!”
“It’s okay,” Dick leans over your bed, pulling you tightly to his chest. “I miss him too. I miss him so, so much. And if there was any chance…you know I would take it too.”
“Did I ever tell you what he said to me that day? Just before he passed?”
Dick shakes his head.
“He said—,” your voice shakes so severely it’s hard to get the words out. “He said ‘I love you, y/n. I always have. I’ll be back for you, okay?’”
The gears in Dick’s brain click together, and suddenly everything makes sense. It was no secret that you and Wally had been pining after each other for years. Always cuddling and fighting and loving and hating each other. Dick was close to both of you, and he of all people knew how your feelings were bubbling over. He knew how badly you wanted to be with Wally—and how badly Wally wanted to be with you.
It’s a cruel joke, he thinks. That in one day you got everything you wanted, and an hour later had it ripped away. No wonder you’d been like a zombie this year.
“Y/n…” he squeezes your hand reassuringly.
You squeeze his hand back, and between the fever and the medicine and Dick’s skin on yours, everything in the world feels right for a minute.
It takes two weeks for you to fully recover from being sick. If it weren’t for your roommate being the ultra rich adoptive son of Bruce Wayne, you probably would have had to go back to work sooner. Dick insisted that you stay home until you were fully recovered, though, offering to cover your bills for the month.
It’s also been two weeks since you saw Wally. It’s been easy to brush it off as a fever dream, but something deep within you wants it to be something more than that. Still, you try to continue on with your day to day life, putting thoughts of the speedster as far away from you as possible.
You pull into the Bludhaven News parking lot with ten minutes to spare. You grab your bag from the passenger seat and clip your badge to your shirt before grabbing the coffee you’d stopped for on the way. You’re determined to make today a good day.
You settle in at your desk, smiling at the picture of you and the original Young Justice team was kids. It makes you happy, but in the most bittersweet meaning of the word. You run your fingers across the glass, stopping them at the lightning symbol on Wally’s chest.
You’re interrupted by your boss stopping at your desk.
“Hey, l/n, good to have you back,” she smiles, and you feel as though she really means it. “We’re having a meeting in five minutes.”
You nod, thanking her. She leaves you at your desk, letting you get organized before you have to meet them in the conference room.
You bring your laptop and coffee and settle in at the big round table in the spinning desk chair. Other journalists, reporters and higher ups slowly file into the room, filling it up until it’s so full it feels almost hard to breathe.
Your boss enters the room last, standing at the front in front of the tv. She welcomes you back before explaining what’s going on in current events, and what she expects everyone to report on.
You sip your coffee, zoning out for the majority of her presentation. Every once and a while, she clicks a remote and the screen changes to a new slide. You don’t pay much attention to the tv, only glancing at it every so often.
When the screen changes to three familiar figures, you freeze. It feels like someone dumped cold water on you, and you’re painfully aware of everything going on around you.
The screen shows Wally, Bart and Barry on the day he died. Wally has a big grin on his face, clad in his Kid Flash suit, giving a salute to a security camera. You’re not sure how they got this picture, but a part of you wishes they didn’t.
“—the one year anniversary since the Flash Family saved the world, and since Kid Flash bravely sacrificed himself to achieve this goal. We want to honour them for their ultimate sacrifice, and that’s why this month, we’ll be doing daily pieces on the great exploits of the family. Also—,”
Her words echo in your ears, everything feels far away from you. The only thing you can focus on is the way your heart is pounding and the way all the air is sucked out of your lungs. Wally’s face stares at you from the tv screen, and the walls close in.
You’re on your feet in an instant. “Pardon me,” you rasp out, before almost running out of the room.
You’re not sure where you’re going. Your head is spinning, your heart is racing, everything is fading away. You stumble your way into the bathroom, locking the door behind you before your knees buckle and you hit the floor.
You claw at your throat, desperate for air. You squeeze your eyes shut, clenching your fists, desperate for pressure. When you open your eyes, you swear Wally is there.
“You’re not here,” you gasp. “You’re not real.”
Wally’s green eyes are wide, staring at you with concern. “Y/n—,”
“You’re not real! You’re just some ghost—fucking haunting me for no reason at all!”
It breaks his heart to see you like this. So sad, so hurt, barely able to breathe.
“Stop,” you choke out, “stop haunting me! Stop, stop, stop it!”
Wally hasn’t seen you have a panic attack this bad since you were kids. Curled up in a ball, gasping for air and repeating the same word over and over again. He’s desperate to help you—help you like he did back then.
He doesn’t even register what he’s doing until he pulls you into his lap, arms tight around your waist. He keeps a hand over your heart, tracing circles over it.
“Y/n, y/n…” He murmurs softly, “y/n, listen to me. Deep breath in, okay? Follow my example, feel my heart beating.”
You’re not sure how you can feel his arms on you, feel his heart beating against your back. You’re half convinced you’ve already fainted, and you’re laying on the bathroom floor having another fever dream.
Still, you follow his example. You breathe in when you feel his chest rise, and breathe out when you feel his chest fall. You stay silent for a few minutes, leaning completely against Wally until you can breathe again.
Wally rubs your hair, his other hand tracing circles on your hip bone. “How are you feeling?” He asks.
“Better,” you admit.
It takes a few minutes longer for either of you to register that he’s touching you. His hands are on your body and you can feel them.
“Wally, you’re touching me.”
“I’m touching you?”
The shock is almost enough to send you back into a panic attack. Ghosts can’t touch people, neither can fever dreams. But somehow, someway, Wally West is holding you in his arms.
You leave the bathroom ten minutes later, after you and Wally went back and forth on if he was really there with you or not. You insist you’re losing it, but Wally insists he’s there, and somehow when you were sick, you connected to the speed force and now you can see him.
You head back to your desk with no intention of working, set on researching the speed force and if it’s possible to connect to it without being a speedster. Of course, Google doesn’t yield the results you hope, so you decide to go a different route.
You pull out your phone and text Dick.
You: do you think you could get me Barry’s number? need it for work
Robin 1.0: I think I can manage
You: you’re the best
Robin 1.0: don’t you know it
It only takes a few minutes before he texts you his contact for Barry Allen. You waste no time in opening the contact and sending him a quick text.
Of course, you don’t get to see what he responds because suddenly your boss is over your shoulder.
“Y/n, you know what our policy is on personal devices at work. There’s too much sensitive information here.”
“I know, I know. But if I play my cards right,” your ability to think on your feet coming in handy, “I could get us an exclusive interview with the Flash.”
She lights up at that. “Okay, but remember, no pictures or recordings.”
“Sure thing,” you nod and wait for her to leave before opening up your phone and seeing that you have a new text.
You: can I ask you a few questions on the speed force?
Barry Allen: sure thing
You: i know the speedforce is like it’s own separate thing that speedsters connect to, but is it possible for non speedsters to connect to it?
Barry Allen: only under extenuating circumstances. not every ordinary person can just connect to it, but if you’ve been in contact with the speedforce unwittingly or if a speedster has accidentally shared particles with you it’s possible. why?
You: just…a theory im working on for work. we’re doing a piece on Flash Family to honour you guys for saving the world and I wanted to look into it more
You: thank you
Barry Allen: do you think you’ve been in contact with a speedster recently?
You: i don’t know, if I’m being honest.
Barry Allen: okay…keep me updated, okay? if you need anything at all, don’t hesitate to ask
You: thanks
You frown, your conversation with Barry only making you feel more confused. How would you have had contact with a speedster or the speedforce? It’s been almost a year since you last touched Wally, and there’s no way the symptoms are only coming out now. And the speedforce—there’s no way for you to have connected with it either.
You look up from your phone only to see Wally sitting on your desk, looking at you with amusement. “Get what you wanted?”
“Why are you still here?”
“What?” He holds his hand over his chest, feigning hurt. “You don’t want me here?”
You go to speak but realize your coworkers are giving you strange looks. You quickly put your phone up to your ear, pretending to be on a phone call.
“Of course I want you here. I lo—miss you, okay? But it’s not possible. You shouldn’t be here.”
“But I am, y/n. And did Barry not just confirm that to you?”
You sigh. “I will admit, what Barry said does confirm my theory, and what you said while I was sick but…”
“But?”
“It shouldn’t be possible. You were vaporized, Wally. You’re dead. So even if you are here, you’re just a ghost.”
“Ghost, schmost,” he rolls his eyes, leaning in to flick your arm. “Does that not feel real to you?”
“I don’t know, okay? Just—I need time to think. About everything.”
You don’t say it, but it lingers in the air: I need time to think about you.
You put your phone down, indicating to the boy that you’re done talking, before returning to your job. The day goes by fast when you’re contemplating if you’re actually being haunted by the ghost of your best friend or not.
Before you know it, you’re heading home. When you get through the door of the apartment, Dick is nowhere to be found. He must still be at work, you think.
You kick off your shoes and set your bag on the counter before throwing yourself on your bed. You lay down for only a minute before a familiar cologne fills your scent. One you haven’t smelled in a long time.
You don’t need to open your eyes to know that Wally is back. “What are you doing here?”
“I was hoping I could catch you changing,” you can hear the grin in his voice.
You sit up, staring at him with wide eyes. “Wait—if you’ve been here this whole time then…?”
“Yeah,” he laughs, rubbing the back of his neck. “But I didn’t! I mean, I thought about it but…it feels wrong.”
“More wrong than confessing your love to me and then dying?”
Both of you freeze after that, and your hand flies up to your mouth as if you can force the words back in there.
“I—y/n…you know that if I had a choice, I would have come back to you. Right?”
You nod, “I know. It’s fine.”
“It’s not fine,” he places a hand over yours. “I wanted to come back to you. Even though you didn’t say it back, I just thought—”
“You didn’t give me a chance to say it back! You dumped all that on me and then you ran away and left, Wally! You didn’t give me the chance!”
Your outburst surprises both of you. Wally isn’t sure what to do—if he should apologize or be angry or both or neither. So he says nothing.
“I-I think you should go, Wally. You’re only doing harm by being here. You’re dead and I need to move on and I never will if you’re just here haunting me.”
You expect him to argue or to make a joke, but the boy doesn’t do any of that. He gives you a lazy, one handed salute, like the kind he would give before speeding away as kids.
And then he disappears.
You feel sad and angry all at the same time. You know it’s not fair to Wally to lash out at him like that, but how is it fair for him to open up old wounds? For him to haunt you?
When Dick gets home, he’s surprised to see you dressed in your old costume. It’s been so long since you put it on, you look almost strange to him.
“Uh, y/n?” He asks, “not that I’m against this but, what’s up with the costume?”
“I was thinking I could go out on patrol with you tonight,” you explain. “It’s been a while. I need to blow off steam.”
“Okay, let me get changed.”
That’s good enough for you, so you settle in at the counter and wait for Nightwing to suit up. He comes out a few minutes later, clad in the black and blue Nightwing suit.
He looks at you seriously through his domino mask. “Are you sure you want to do this?”
“If I don’t get out, I’ll go stir crazy.”
“Okay, okay,” he raises his hands in surrender. “But don’t push yourself, okay? And I’ll be there the whole time.”
“Alright, dad,” you roll your eyes. “Let’s go.”
Patrol goes fine. It’s just the usual robberies and gang violence, nothing that you and Nightwing can’t handle. Of course, that’s until you hear there’s a bank robbery over the scanner.
The two of you are about to take off and head towards the bank when you hear the radio go off again. This time, it’s a jewellery store being robbed.
“Go!” You say to Nightwing, “you get the bank, I can handle the store.”
He seems content with that answer, grappling to the nearest rooftop and heading off towards the bank. You turn and head towards the jewellery store, hoping it’s enough to take your mind off of Wally.
You get to the store just in time to stop the robbers from shooting the owner.  You knock the gun out of one of their hands, turning to fight the other one. There’s five total, maybe six, but your vision is tunnelling and all you can focus on is the adrenaline pumping through your veins and your need for a distraction.
You make your way through three of them, and just as you turn to fight the fourth, you hear someone yell from behind you.
“Y/n, look out!”
You knock out the fourth and turn around, just in time to see Wally West pass through you and punch the man in the face. He hits him hard enough to send him falling to the floor.
You stare at Wally in shock. “You—you hit him!”
“Are you okay?” He’s breathing hard, chest rising and falling rapidly.
“You saved me…” You mutter. “How did you do that?”
“I-I don’t know,” he admits, placing his hands on your shoulders. “I just didn’t want you to get hurt and then I passed through you and—”
“Dick!” You exclaim, realising you haven’t heard anything from him in a while, and that he still hasn’t returned to you. “Somethings wrong, Wal. We—I gotta go!”
Wally goes to protest, but you’re already running away. Not only are you running away, you’re running at the speed of light, yellow lightning crackling from your ankles. You don’t realize it, too focused on getting to Dick.
You arrive at the bank to see a bunch of lackeys passed out on the floor. Nightwing is leaning on a counter, holding his hands over a bullet hole in his side.
“Hey!” You cry out, skidding to a stop next to him. The bank smells gross, like gunpowder and..burning rubber? “Are you okay? Did you get them all?”
He clenched his jaw. “All but one. He headed North, there’s no way we’ll catch him. He’s probably out of town by now.”
“No, he’s not going to get away with this. We’re going to find him.”
And before Dick can ask, you’re tearing away from the bank, lightning in your wake. His jaw falls open at the sight. In the dark, with the speed you’re going and the lightning coming out, you almost look like Wally…
You run as fast as you can, keeping your eyes peeled for the man driving the truck of jewels. You catch up to him in no time, throwing your body weight against the truck fast enough to tip it over.
Your veins are electrified, pure lightning in your system, better than adrenaline ever could be. You rip the man out of the truck and toss him onto the street. It only takes one hit for you to knock him out, and only a few more seconds to tie him up.
It’s then that you realize what just happened, how fast you were going. You look down to see the soles of your shoes on fire, the thighs of your costume torn open from the fabric chafing so fast.
Something about the ruined shoes and the torn fabric makes you think of Wally, and the thought of the ghost in the bank saving your life only makes you want to run even more. Is this how he felt everytime he ran? It’s exhilarating, it only makes you want more.
You keep running, running straight up the side of a building before stopping in your tracks on the roof. How did this even happen? You look around, half expecting to see Wally there, but he’s not.
Your legs quiver, threatening to collapse beneath you. Your feet ache from all of the running and your shoes have practically disintegrated into nothing. You know you’re done for the night, your body at its absolute limit.
Your knees buckle, but before you can hit the ground, there’s a streak of yellow and suddenly Wally is holding you up against his chest.
“I—what’s going on?” You ask.
Wally holds you up with one arm, staring at his other hand. He shakes it, going fast enough to make it seem as though his hand is vibrating.
“I don’t know,” he admits. “I—something’s changed. I can feel it.”
You hear the unmistakable sound of a grappling hook before Nightwing is landing on the roof. “Holy shit, y/n. How were you going so fast? For a second there, I thought it was—Wally?”
His face pales at the sight of the redhead, clad in his Kid Flash suit, holding you up against his body. There’s no way he’s here now, alive and well, right in front of his eyes.
“You…you can see him?”
Dick is running across the roof in an instant, feet pushing him closer to his best friend. He jumps on both of you, arms wrapping around you both. “Wally,” he sobs into his shoulder. “How—how are you here?”
There’s another flash of lightning—red lightning—and suddenly The Flash is standing next to you guys. “I can answer that.”
Wally grins insanely wide, making sure you’re steady against Dick before jumping to hug his former mentor.
“How did you know I was here?” He asks.
Barry smiles, “I could feel it. In the speedforce. There was a huge amount of energy released and then for the first time in a year, I could feel you.”
“But how did that happen?” Dick interjects, before adding, “not that we’re not happy to see you.”
Wally goes back to hugging you, wiping off the tears that have slipped from your eyes and kissing the top of your forehead. “I think y/n here somehow borrowed my speed and-and opened a portal into the speedforce.”
“I brought you back?” Your voice is so quiet it’s barely a whisper.
“You brought me back!” He’s beaming at you.
He wraps his arms around your waist, spinning you in a circle. He sets you down on the ground, only to tip your head back and plant a kiss to your lips. It’s intense, passionate, full of the longing he’s felt for you since you were kids.
You wrap your arms around his shoulders, using him to keep yourself up. His body is so warm and hard under your touch, so familiar to you. You draw him closer, not even caring if Dick and Barry are standing there staring at you.
When he finally pulls away, he flashes you the biggest smile in the world. “You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for that.”
“So,” Dick awkwardly says, “why don’t we take this back to our place?”
Wally grabs your hand in his, squeezing it tightly. “I think that’s a really good idea.”

ok ok so about this post:
https://www.tumblr.com/moongreenlight/729759450340130816/headcanons-for-captain-john-price-and-his-very
i was reading it while listening to mozart’s requiem: confutatis maledictus
https://youtu.be/hN7DZhGNCxY?si=knTn38X98KovFvzL
and i was thinking what if the age gap is the same BUT reader was also military?
like this sweet little thing who dresses in pretty, dark red cherry print skirts used to have the same dark red splotches of blood on their uniform in the field. reader who’s a bit deranged, who plays the strings on her violin until the deep indents on her fingertips threaten to cut and bleed. a bit strange reader who immediately snaps her head to the slightest out of place sound on her private garden, face dropping from her stepford smile into a focused scowl. loose screwed reader who demands the cook to cook the same dish 4 times on a random thursday because it didn’t taste like the same as when he prepared it 4 months ago. bit rabid reader who keeps her staff dogs on a tight leash, including her husband, demanding things to be done on her standards. pretty show cat reader who hisses and scratches when john doesn’t greet her with the same amount of joy at the door when he has a bad day at work.
this cat, no matter how pampered and spoiled, never fully became domesticated to be a house cat, still feral under her shiny new coat. her new appearance however, is truly just a guise over her rabid tendencies. god forbid john ever pushes readers buttons because his things will get destroyed, his ego deflated, his paperweights cracked, his uniforms ripped at the seams, sturdy until needed, his pens lacking any more ink, fountain pen nibs bent ever so slightly, furniture moved every so slightly, hair and facial appointments cut in half and only being once a week.
i just LIVE for deranged!reader. i love love love it when reader is the crazy one too who feeds and takes ideals from her husband 😼😼😼
Katz I am almost certain you read my rough draft for these Headcanons because I swear to you I almost wrote reader like this. Your mind. You also know I’m a sucker for an animal comparison you literally forced me to write this. :’(
I am a crazy bitch SYMPATHIZER. She is me I am her. It takes a lot of me not to write every reader as a little off their fucking rocker but I’m glad you’re endorsing this.
Mdni. Nsfw below cut.
He probably takes a liking to you shortly after you start training. Catches you tearing into one of your bunk mates viciously for leaving one (1) sock on the ground next to their hamper. Doesn’t bother to break it up, just immediately goes back to his office and figures out who your training officer was and how quickly he could get you switched into his group.
He pulls rank on Soap to get him to agree to let you switch over. He doesn’t look happy about it, but he huffs and agrees to take a significantly less advanced rookie in exchange for you. Completely unfair trade, but Price is over the moon about it.
He doesn’t come off too strong at first because you’re young. Just turned twenty and joined the military to get loans for uni. He knows he’s much too old for you.
But still, he lets his hands linger on your waist when he’s correcting your posture, kicks your feet apart and plants his leg between yours when he’s teaching you how to properly handle a shotgun. Hears his other rookies complaining about you being favored by him because you’re the only one he’ll compliment during sessions.
Doesn’t even bother saying anything about the rumors spreading because you beat him to the punch- sometimes literally. Like he’s fairly certain you shot the worst offender in the foot on purpose during a mission to shut them up.
A few months go by with no real progress and no real payout until one day after training he wanders back to his office and finds you already sitting there waiting for him. You say something about how you’re hoping to advance pretty quickly after training, you wonder if he sees any potential in you. Lean over his desk and bat your lashes and ask what he thinks about giving you some private lessons, only if he has time of course. He nearly passes out.
And then a year later you’re married. He doesn’t have time to dick around, nor does he want to, and he now knows you well enough to know that you’ll throw a proper tantrum if things aren’t done exactly to your liking, so sure, it was a quick turnaround, but you really did love each other.
I think he asks a few times if you’ll leave the service, and you shut him down immediately. Scowling and pulling a face at the suggestion. Saying no just to say no. And then you go spent like $600 at the shops with his card. So he learns to keep his mouth shut and just supplement you with the life he wants you to have until you come to your own decision to be discharged.
And while you’ve grown accustomed to your new plush life, you never quite lose your fire. Truly, you’re a feral little thing turned prized show cat. You let him dote on you and provide you with all the finer things in life. Let him preen you and dress you up and play his perfect little wife. Oftentimes gives people the impression he’s got you tucked under his thumb when the reality of the situation is quite the opposite.
You let him play captain when you visit him at work or when he brings the boys over for drinks. Smile and stay relatively quiet tucked in by his side when you’re hosting dinner. Put on a nice outfit and a big smile when he introduces you to his chain of command during holiday parties and outings. You’ve gotten quite good at playing domestic.
But you like things exactly how you like them. Very particular about your life and your house and the people in it. You make it abundantly clear that it’s your way or no way at all.
Lounging out by the pool in the back while the landscapers work and noticing as they’re trying to slip out the gate that they didn’t properly trim the grass around the perimeter of the fence, so you storm out after them and hiss and yowl your complaint until they fix their mistake. Making a spectacle in your tiny bikini in front of the whole neighborhood until they finally correct the issue. Then you shake off any irritation and flash them a bright smile and offer your thanks like nothing had happened.
Hovering around the cook in the kitchen irritatingly close after you’ve asked them to prepare a dish that your mother used to make when you were a child. Peeking over their shoulder and punctuating their work with comments and corrections that are presented like suggestions, but everyone understands they’re demands. Going so far as to dump their progress in the trash when they’re not following your instruction well enough.
Sending John to work for two weeks straight with an empty bag that was supposed to hold his lunch because you’d asked him to please stop kicking off his mucked up work boots directly in front of the front door when he got home and he didn’t. Not even bothering to make up an excuse as to why you wouldn’t be coming to base when he called to ask if you’d bring him food. Simply saying no and ending the call no matter how many times he apologized.
Spilling his mug of tea over paperwork if you felt like he wasn’t paying you enough attention. Even if you were sat on his lap and obstructing his view of his desk.
Growing agitated with his working late so you go up to base when you know he’s out training and locking all of the drawers and cabinets in his office. Wearing the key on a dainty chain around your neck and telling him he can only have it back once you feel like he’s gotten his priorities straight. Calling in the aid of a handyman to bolt the mail slot on his door shut so he had no excuse to be doing any excess work.
Pulling a duchess from Wolf of Wall Street and wearing tiny little dresses with no underwear. Intentionally bending at the waist in front of him and leaning over his desk with your elbows pushed together in front of you when he’s done something to piss you off. Batting his hand away when he tries to grope you.
Or what felt like the worst punishment of all to him- making a point of being in the shower when he came home. Not giving him the pleasure of giving you the lush bubble baths he loved so much. Sometimes just sitting in the bathroom with the water running until you heard the front door swing shut and turning it off. Coming out wrapped in a towel that barely covered you. water beading on your shoulders. Sauntering away from him with your tail flicking back and forth when he tried to voice his protest.
He’s infinitely patient with you. Mostly because he is absolutely infatuated, but also because he knew what he was getting into when he married you. He’ll correct you when you go too far for his liking. Maybe pull you over his knee and make you apologize for how you acted until he feels like you mean it. Giving you a mean swat to the ass every time you’re snarky or flat out refuse. Sometimes gets fed up with your smart mouth and shoves his cock down your throat for a few hours to remind you that speaking is a privilege and not a right. Or he’ll parade you around the house fully nude. Maybe forcing you to crawl around on all fours like the feral cat you are in front of all the staff (or the task force boys) just to remind you of your place. Has you curl up on the sofa next to him, even though the whole time you’re pouting like you didn’t do anything wrong. Looks at you over his newspaper with a mock-sympathetic smile but says nothing until you decide to get over your anger and settle in his lap. Purring while he smooths a hand over your hair.

Prologue | Chapter 1 | Chapter 2 | Chapter 3 | Chapter 4 | Chapter 5 | Chapter 6 | Chapter 7 | Epilogue
~~~
You released a tired, relieved sigh as you and the rest of the team exited the elevator and walked back into the bullpen. You'd just landed back after a week in Utah chasing a serial killer who turned out to be a mormon. He killed in the name of burning out the false children of God from humanity - literally. The Unsub managed to burn six innocent people alive before they apprehended him.
'I cannot wait to go home for a hot bath and a good glass of scotch,' Rossi said, rubbing at the kink in his neck from the sleep home on the plane.
'Ditto,' Alex said. 'James is home for the weekend, and he has promised me some home made pie that I am very much looking forward to.'
You smiled as you reached your desk, the echo of the others adding to the conversation of what they were looking forward to when they got home warming the usually busy room as they passed you. A sense of comfort and relief washed over you as you placed your go-bag on your desk. Hearing all your friends' voices back in the office after a mission was never a guarantee, so you relished every time you heard them, regardless of the conversation.
You looked up when a figure entered your peripheral vision, and that comfort and warm feeling spread further through you when you saw who it was.
'What about you, Y/N?' Spencer said by way of greeting, a soft smile gracing his own tired features. 'What is waiting for you at home on this fine Friday evening?'
You paused to think about it for a second, a content smile tugging at your lips at the thought. 'Well, unless I've been robbed in the last few days, I will be enjoying a nice glass of moscato while I order pasta from the restaurant below my apartment, and snuggle in with my book that I've spent literally months trying to finish,' you said dreamily, the thought of good food and good wine and a good book sounding almost too good to be true. But Garcia had informed the team before landing that no new cases had been submitted and so you had the weekend to yourselves.
'That all?' he asked, amusement dancing on his lips.
You chuckled, shaking your head. 'I know. First Friday night home in DC in a while and I am choosing to stay at home instead. The utter shame of it all.'
You both laughed, and it pleased you to see his amber eyes light up after the long week you'd had.
'I didn't mean that as a bad thing,' Spencer said, brushing a stray curl from out of his eyes. Even though it was the shortest length it'd ever been, some rogue curls still managed to dangle out of confinement every once in a while. 'What book are you reading?'
'Don't laugh at me, but... The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.'
Spencer's brow furrowed curiously. 'Why would I laugh? I love Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's work.'
You shrugged, casually leaning against your desk as you crossed your arms. 'I know, it just seems a little silly that a federal agent is reading some old detective stories.'
'Actually, Doyle was one of the forefathers of detective fiction, as he brought in the concept that the science of deduction isn't just physical evidence but psychological observations. He created a space where all the sciences we know today can help in solving crime, and actually paved the way for more psychological avenues to be taken more seriously in academia and law enforcement. If you think about it, without Sherlock, you and I may not have our jobs as profilers right now.' Spencer paused when he realised he was rambling, and despite your soft, encouraging smile, he saw the tired blankness in your eyes.
Spencer licked his lips before speaking again. 'What I'm trying to say is... I don't think it's silly at all.'
You nodded your thanks although you knew you didn't need to. 'So what about you?', you asked in return. 'What will entertain Dr. Spencer Reid on this "fine Friday evening"?'
His words repeated back to him kept the smile on his face, more importantly the life in his eyes. But he began to fiddle with the strap of his satchel bag, and you couldn't help but notice he slightly swayed. Like he was nervous or something. It was cute.
He was cute.
You forced the rising heat in your cheeks to stay underneath the surface to not give away your embarrassment or your inner thoughts. Thoughts you'd been having since the day you'd met him six years ago. Thoughts that you'd suppressed so as to not interfere with your work, and then later so it wouldn't ruin your hard-built friendship.
When he told you about Maeve, you'd had mixed feelings. Of course, you'd been ecstatic for him that he'd found someone he could be himself with, and even more so when he disclosed to you that no one else knew about her - just you. But you couldn't deny the twinge of sadness that pulled at your heart knowing that that someone he could be himself with wasn't you.
But you hadn't hesitated, hadn't faltered when he'd needed a shoulder to cry on when Maeve was killed. Once he decided to open up and accept help, you were first in line to help keep the young doctor afloat in his sea of grief and loss.
It's been over a year since Maeve's death now, and while she would always remain important in his heart, he had, for the most part, moved on, slowly getting back to be his usual, quirky, logical self.
The past year and a bit has only brought you two closer together, and as much as you have tried to hide how amazing that makes you feel, you've had plenty of conversations with Penelope and others on the team about finally asking the boy wonder out. It's not like you didn't want to, but if Maeve was his type of girl, you just weren't sure you were what Spencer was looking for in a romantic partner. Besides, you were happy with your friendship.
It was by far the most precious relationship you had aside from your family - why ruin it?
You quickly realised you'd both been silent for a while, Spencer still not having answered your question yet. 'Spence?' you prompted gently.
The cute doctor managed to grasp his satchel strap fiercely and ground himself back in the present. 'R-Right. I too have a book at home. The one you got me for my birthday, actually.'
'Oh yes!' The Shining Girls by Lauren Beukes. You'd been hooked from the first line, and by the time you finished, all you could think about was how much you thought Spencer would enjoy it. So you instantly wrapped up your own personal copy and waited for Spencer's birthday to roll around. You never told him it was yours, you just hoped he didn't notice the slight bend in the spine or minuscule tears in some pages from you flipping them too quickly. 'I've been meaning to ask you if you enjoyed it or not. I just assumed you'd read it already.'
'We've just been so busy with cases lately. I haven't had time to even consider picking it up.'
You rolled your eyes. 'Come on, we both know you could've finished that book on one of our plane rides.'
He shrugged, eyes dipping for a moment before landing back on you. 'I know. I guess... I just wanted to give it the time and attention it deserved,' he settled on, and the honesty in both his words and his eyes threatened to steal your breath.
A silence that rested between comfortable and awkward settled upon you two. This had happened many times in recent weeks although you weren't quite sure why. Regardless of your hidden feelings and the tragedy of Maeve, neither of you lost your comfortability with one another.
'So... we've both got book dates tonight,' you said in an attempt to break the silence. The rest of the team was still chatting just a little away from them, but it felt like it was just the two of you sometimes when you talked.
'Well, actually, maybe...' Spencer started, and his fingers were twitching again. 'I was wondering if maybe you'd want t-to bring your book over and... join me, tonight.'
The request wasn't an unusual one. In fact, you'd conducted your own mini book club between the two of you on plenty of occasions. Mainly because you both found out you were the kind of people that liked your personal time and space, but didn't like the thought of being completely alone. This wasn't new, but it warmed your heart all the same at the gesture.
'That sounds great, Spence!' you said heartily. 'Give me half an hour and I'll be around at yours-'
'Actually,' Spencer interrupted, 'I was thinking we could grab some dinner together first. You know, like at a restaurant or some place you can sit in at.'
'...Like a date?' you asked softly, breathlessly. The words just kind of slipped from you before you even contemplated how they would affect Spencer. It just felt natural and right.
Your heart pounded like a jackhammer between your ribs, but you were more concerned at what expression Spencer would pull in the next five seconds.
To your relief, he smiled that small little smile of his that spoke volumes of his insecurity but also of his genuine intentions. 'Yeah. I guess it is like a date,' he finally replied.
Oh my goodness. He was nervous. His words were rushed and higher-pitched in tone. but you still managed to understand him, as well as what dinner implied.
A half-smile pulled at your lips. 'Dr. Spencer Reid,' you began softly, half-scared, half-excited to speak the words you'd been holding back for so long. 'Are you asking me out on a date right now?'
At your words, his anxiety seemed to disappear, as he stopped fidgeting with the satchel strap and took a daring step closer to you. 'I guess I am.'
You couldn't stop it now, the smile of pure joy you'd been holding back from splitting your face open. After years of suffering silently, of repressing the truth, it was all worth it for that one question.
'So what do you say, SSA Y/N L/N,' he quipped cheekily. 'Would you like to have dinner with me tonight?'
The answer was right there in the tip of your tongue, almost spewing from you, when your name was called out across the bullpen for all to hear.
The globe of silence and serenity that had built around Spencer and yourself suddenly shattered as you both, alongside the rest of the team, turned to Hotch standing in his office doorway. But while you all looked at him, his hard gaze was honed in on you.
'L/N,' he called again, having your attention now. 'Can I see you in my office, please?'
You looked between him and Spencer, unsure who to answer first. In the end, you were still technically on the clock so you nodded at your boss and said, 'Sure, I'll be in there shortly.'
'This can't wait, I'm sorry.'
It was the seriousness and discomfort in his voice that caused you to throw aside your personal agenda, giving Spencer an apologetic look before quickly making your way through the bullpen, up the stairs and into his office. You tried not to look at your team too much as you did, but you felt their gazes on the back of your head nevertheless.
They were just as confused as you were, then.
'Close the door,' Hotch instructed gently, to which you obliged. He pointed to the seat on the other side of his desk. 'Have a seat.'
'Everything okay, Hotch?' you asked, taking a seat in the chair. 'Oh no. Did I make an error in one of my reports again?'
'No, nothing like that,' he reassured you, which didn't help your already built up worry. For a moment, it was just you two sitting in his office in silence; you waited for him to explain his mysterious actions, while he seemed to struggle to find the right words.
He never struggled to find the right words.
You leaned forward in your seat, worry furrowing your brow. 'Hotch. What's wrong?'
'Nothing is wrong, so to say,' he insisted, but his frown remained. 'I've just been in contact with your old unit chief from Organised Crime. They believe there is an underground operation being conducted by gang leaders in Manhattan that involves the transporting, selling and purchasing of girls and women in the prostitute industry.'
'Okay,' you drawled out, more confused than ever. 'What has this got to do with us?'
'It doesn't,' Hotch answered immediately. 'Just you. Your old unit chief wants you back to go undercover in the case.'
'What?' You stood up from your seat instead of shouting, but goodness it took all your strength not to. 'Why do they need me? They have a whole squadron of agents to choose from.'
'They want a profiler to help them find out who these people are first, then go undercover and become part of the operation's inner circle and report back to them,' Hotch explained, although his tone displayed his displeasure in saying so. 'Y/N, you have more experience in undercover missions than anyone else on this team, even before you joined us as a profiler.'
You knew his words to be true, but the reality of it all was an ever-growing weight on your chest. 'What they are asking, Hotch, could take weeks, months even. Those kind of people will not trust so easily,' you tried reasoning with him.
You couldn't help but look through the blinds to your team still standing and talking outside in the bullpen. To Spencer, who had joined the team since you had left, but just looked at the window as if he could find out what was going on behind the glass and blinds if he looked long enough. It broke your heart to think you wouldn't see him for months, maybe even years.
Because that was the thing with undercover missions. Once you assumed the life of someone else, your old life became non-existent. That meant no contact with anyone outside of the case as a safety precaution.
That meant no talking to Spencer, or anyone in the BAU, until the case ended. Or unless you were killed, in which case you wouldn't be able to do a lot of talking anyways.
You turned back around at the sound of Hotch standing from his seat and coming around the desk to speak directly in front of you, no walls to hide behind. 'You know I wouldn't be asking if I hadn't tried to change their mind first. But even I can't argue that you are the best agent for the job.'
You nodded your understanding even if you hated to admit he was right. 'I guess it's not one of those jobs that I can decline, is it?'
Hotch shook his head regrettably. 'Head Chief requested for you personally. You've already been taken off the roster here at the BAU so you're not disturbed by other cases.'
Hearing that was just rubbing salt in the wound, and you hated the burning feeling of tears rising at the back of your eyes. You were already gone from here, like a ghost that didn't realise she was one to begin with.
Hotch's hand rested heavy on your shoulder as he comforted you. 'We can discuss your return to work when your mission is over. You will always have a place with us, Y/N.'
You attempted a smile, but it was strained as you tried to force back tears. You wiped at the strays that dribbled down your cheeks, pulling yourself back together before speaking again. 'All right. How long do I have before I am expected in the Big Apple?'
'There's someone waiting for you at your apartment already. They'll take you to their headquarters when you're done packing tonight.'
You sucked in air as you felt your whole world tilt unstably. Tonight. You had to leave tonight. Again, you found yourself seeking out Spencer through the half-closed blinds.
'So what do you say, SSA Y/N L/N? Would you like to have dinner with me tonight?'
You bit your lip as you blinked your tears away, trying but failing to ignore the cry of your heart as its strings were pulled harshly. 'Tonight?' you asked in the hope you'd misheard.
But no such hope existed, unfortunately.
'Yes,' Hotch said, that one word the final nail in the coffin of your impending suffering. 'I'm sorry. This goes without saying, but don't mention any of this to the team as you leave. Only myself and Section Chief Cruz will know where you are and the details of your mission.'
You huffed out a joyless laugh. 'Hiding truths from a team of profilers is like playing poker with a mirror attached to your face,' you said, and you didn't bother to hide your displeasure and sadness when you did. 'They're going to ask questions, and they will find out the truth eventually.'
'Let me worry about that,' Hotch said gently, letting go of you and leaving a cold mark where his hand once was. 'You've got bags to pack.'
'Right.' You sucked in a few deep breaths before making your way to the door. tears burned at your eyes again but you couldn't let the team see you like this. You couldn't let Spencer see you like this.
Because you had a job to do. And you always finished a job.
Before you could open the door handle, however, Hotch stopped you once more. 'Y/N.'
You looked at him, forcing an expression of blankness and indifference. 'Yes, sir?'
He must've seen your inner struggle, as he offered one of those genuine smiles of his that were oh so rare. 'We'll see you when you get back,' he said.
It wasn't a promise or a done deal, but it was the most hope you could ask for right now. So you smiled your thanks, nodded your goodbye, and opened the door back into the bullpen.
Immediately, all eyes set upon you and the room grew quiet. Your first instinct was to cry, then to run, then to blurt everything out because you hated keeping secrets. But you remembered what had just been said, and you whipped a bright smile onto your face to hide your despair.
'Don't you guys have homes to go to?' you asked cheerily, walking down the stairs as casually as possibly. You would've bee-lined for your bag, but if you moved too quickly they would suspect something. 'I recall hot baths and scotch were awaiting most of us, are they not?'
Thankfully Rossi took the bait, and picked up his go-bag in a huge huff. 'The lady is right. I spend enough time with you people as is, I am not wasting anymore not drinking and soaking.'
'Soaking in what? The bath or scotch?' JJ asked, also picking up her go-bag to make her way back to the elevator.
The group devolved into laughs and other jests, and you breathed a sigh of relief as you picked up your go-bag and followed them. Before you could though, a gentle call of your name halted you in your tracks, out of both politeness and frozen fear.
'Hey,' Spencer started, looking between you and Hotch's office. 'What was all that about?'
'Oh, uh, nothing super important,' you said, scrambled as you words were. 'Just a paperwork issue. Again.'
He broke out in smile that set your heart aflutter despite your inner turmoil. 'You know, you really shouldn't do paperwork on the plane when you're tired if you're just going to make a mistake. You're better off leaving it to the morning when your brain and body has rested enough to comprehend what the paperwork is asking of you.'
'Well sorry if I don't want to do a mountain of paperwork when I come back into the office,' you countered, grateful for the playful distraction as you made it over to the elevator. The others were just piling in when Spencer halted you again.
'So...' he dragged out, eyes flickering between you and teh floor nervously, '...what do you say?'
'To what?' you asked.
'To dinner. You didn't have time to give me an answer before.'
Shit. Your voice failed you now as you grasped at words - any words - to tell him. Your heart screamed yes, but there was someone waiting for you back home. A home you wouldn't be visiting for who knows how long.
Capitalising on your gaping mouth, you forced out a yawn and feigned covering it up out of embarrassment. 'Oh my goodness, sorry about that. Um, actually, now that you mention it, I am pretty beat. I'm just... going to go home and sleep it off if that's all right.'
It pained you to see his smile drop at your words, to see the hope leave his beautiful eyes at your rejection. And you knew you shouldn't say anything or make promises you couldn't keep, but you couldn't just leave him with no hope.
'Maybe next week sometime,' you offered, hoping your smile could bring some of that light back. 'You know, you've never tried the Italian Restaurant under my apartment before. We could go there. On me.'
Instinctively, you reached for his hand, relishing in the warmth it held and brought into you. To your relief, he didn't pull away. Instead, you got your smile back, and a little light returned to his eyes. You were kind of glad you wouldn't be around when the light left him completely.
'Okay,' he said softly, surprising you with a gentle squeeze of your hand in his. 'It's a date.'
'Yeah,' you replied, trying and failing to push aside the fluttering sensation his words gave your heart. You were only prolonging not only your pain, but his.
Selfish. So selfish.
'Come on, you two,' Derek called out from the elevator. 'I can't hold these doors open forever. Savannah will kill me if I miss our dinner reservations.'
You both quickly made it in to the elevator before Derek let them close on you, and then you were caught up in the chaos that was your team. You weren't sure how you got onto the topic of what scotch goes best with what foods, but you didn't care. It made you happy to know they never let the weight of a dark case get in the way of living their own lives to them fullest.
You all reached the car park and before you could make a run for your car, Spencer called out to you. 'See you Monday, Y/N!'
You turned back around to face not only him, but Derek, JJ, Penelope, Alex, and David as they all slowly went for their cars too.
You caught yourself staring at them, taking their happy faces in one last time before you left them behind. Hotch said you'd always have a place with the BAU, but you weren't sure how long this mission would take. And if you'd be replaced by then.
You forced a smile onto your face and waved them farewell. 'Yeah, see you then.'
You hated the bitter taste the lie brought to your mouth, but you managed to keep it together long enough that you got in your car and drove out of the car park without any more issues. That's when the tears came.
You wouldn't be there next Monday, and were not getting that date with Spencer next week.
It hurt you more to think that you may not get that date at all.
3. my interest in astrology had been revived and now i’m going to spill my guts to probably 20 people on the internet :D
[TW: Mentions of ch1ld 4buse]
🦋 Dejanira in 4th house (Capricorn, 6°): It’s unaspected to all of my planets and to my Nessus in 5th house. Dejanira represents the areas of life where one is susceptible to abuse, either from external sources or due to themselves [1].
Coincidentally, I also have 4° degree Saturn and there had been interpretations that the degree your Saturn will tell you what age you had to mature [2] and around this age, I was physically and verbally abused in the house by a caretaker my parents hired because both of them were working and couldn’t really look after me, so it took a while for them to notice that I have been abused by my caretaker.
I have always felt a little neglected in my home because my parents were not really around and my grandmother definitely favored my cousins than me for some reason (I do feel my mom is her least favorite child, mommy issues run deep in this household, lmao.)
My home is comfortable but I do feel a sense of suffocation inside.
🦋 Anyways, from my constant observation of friend groups when I’m bored... I have noticed that the leader or someone who is the group’s core friend is a Libra moon. The link between the other people in the group.
(+) I find it cute when people become friends and they end up adapting each other’s habits, lol. Makes you know what friend group they belong to and the person they’re really close to.
🦋 I finally have my friend’s birth time (straight from the certificate). I might have an explanation as to why she’s the only person I feel comfortable with skinship (Taurus Moon close friend). She has her Mars in my 4th house as this house also represents intimacy and bonding, and with her Capricorn Mars there, I feel physically safe and comfortable when I’m with her.
🦋 Mars signs and body movement!
I came across this Lindaland forum about Mars signs and body movement, and for me, it is accurate (Link is in the last part).
    🌸 Gemini Mars: being restless, darting eyes, fast-paced walker, and clumsy af (keeps tripping and stubbing toes even on a flat surface)
🦋 Leo Moons really care and is meticulous about their physical appearance, how they present themselves, and how they appear to others. This might be even more emphasized if their Moon is in the 1st house, however this placement might lead caring for their looks to being obsessive about it.
🦋 Someone with Juno conjunct Saturn might marry after 29 (Saturn’s years of revolution), will only have one romantic relationship in their life, and is a monogamist. Marriage might come later in life but is long-lasting.
🦋 Other people with Venus sextile Pluto, do you also tend to be obsessive with your crushes to the point of limerence? I have it at 0° which probably explains why I will rarely be attracted to someone, but when I do, I go all in and become limerent. every. single. time. Oh, and I also get deeply jealous even with an Aquarius Venus.
(+) Also, we are talking about Aquarius which is described as somewhat aloof and detached but friendly and humanitarian. This is how my friendships are, I am fine with being alone for some time and okay with just meeting once every six months with my friends. Just like my crushes, my social circle is very limited and I make new friends rarely. However, with my Venus-Pluto aspect, I also tend to be obsessive with them, the thirst to know every piece of information about them, because you need to know your friends, right?
🦋 Piggybacking on the Aquarius discussion, Aquarius Moons tend to be the first person in a room to greet you and acquaint you with the group, they also tend to have a wide social circle. An Aquarius Moon classmate of mine will bump into a person they know in, literally everywhere.
hi. i figured i would get less antagonistic answers Here vs on Reddit (where i was told to ask about this). i work at the Mart of Walls (iykyk) and we had a coach transfer from another department who is dead-set on firing people. i work on the front end, and run both registers and self-checkout depending on the day. when i work in SCO, i am supposed to be following the rule "greet, help, thank" which i have been doing quite well.
however, the new coach has decided that i'm not doing good enough at this, despite saying "hello" and "have a good day" to EVERY customer AT THE BARE MINIMUM. she tells me that my body language is unwelcoming, even though i am autistic and cannot help it, which i explained to her, but she doesn't care. she also accused me of being on my personal (non-work) phone, which i had used to check my schedule and text my dad about a ride to the doctor's office. team leads, coaches, and other associates use phones ALL THE TIME, but it's ONLY an issue if i do it. so she's basically accusing me of "just standing there looking at my phone" when i'm talking to people more than just about ANY associate who works in SCO. my team leads have said i'm one of the best workers they've ever had and say so proudly. the coach is quite literally the only one who has an issue with what i'm doing.
i felt like this was out of nowhere, and then i heard a rumor going around that the new coach wants a fresh, clean slate and wants to start mass-firing people. TWO of my team leads confirmed this, and i'm positive the other two would confirm it too if i got the chance to ask them. the coach is threatening their jobs too so they are also scared. so this is not ungrounded. i have solid testimony that this is, in fact, what is happening. everyone is scared.
i've worked here for a year and have overcome so many physical and mental obstacles to get to this point. my coworkers wrote a card for me and gave me cupcakes on my 1-year anniversary and they said ive improved more than anyone theyve ever seen. it sounds fake but i truly felt like i belong with these people and they don't bully me (minus ONE of the team leads) and we truly consider each other friends. i'm successful at my job, i'm very very good at it. i can't lose it now. on top of that, i'm going back to school to get into a medical field, and i own a house (yes. a house. my payments are like 700/month WITH bills bc of where i live) and i have a cat to take care of. i have so many expenses to deal with until i can finish my education, and i CANNOT lose my job now.
i reported this claim to the ethics department with a LENGTHY letter, PLEADING them to take a look at this because my job, and EVERY single one of my front-end coworker's jobs are being threatened. but my question is, finally, is there ANYTHING i can do about this? like, how to avoid getting fired, how to protect myself in the future if i AM fired, how to get the company to pay attention, how to put a stop to this in general?
any advice is appreciated i'm freaking out so bad lol
So here you were.
One Bathroom Counter
Six tests.
Twelve brightly positive lines.
One Shocked Alana
And one terrified you.
The room was so silent you could have heard a pin drop.
You almost couldn't believe it.
You were pregnant and scared shitless.
Immediately you’d burst into tears while Alana who usually wasn’t one for traditional methods of comfort..did her best.
From there a hour crying session began until you got the strength to talk.
" Alana what am I gonna do. This isn’t suppose to be happening right now. Not n-now." You sniffled out hanging on to your friend tighter.
This was bad..no scratch that...it was terrible timing.
You had just finally broken some ground at work and was finally feeling like your contributions were being used. Austin was riding the high of Elvis and had also just finished filming Dune part 2. Not to mention you'd only gotten engaged not even three months ago and hadn't been in the new condo two good months...which you'd been literally going at it like rabbits in.
But still, everything was flowing just the way it needed to flow, and something like this was certain to disrupt it.
" You're gonna have to do what you need to do, babes. No matter what you need to take care of you first above all else." Alana offered.
Looking at her with red eyes you asked, " What would you do? "
Mirroring you back with a face of stone Alana was hesitate to answer because in her mind.. you may not have wanted to hear her true opinion.
She replied, " Honestly."
Taking a breath you nodded.
" Well...."
—-
It'd been almost a month since you'd found that you were pregnant. And it had not been a easy ride. Between the fatigue, constant nauseous feeling, tiredness, and the task of doing your best to hide all signs of the minimal morning sickness from everyone.
You were exhausted.
But still the only two souls that knew were you and Alana.
And as much as you wanted to tell Austin and everyone else...you weren't ready.
Immediately when you stepped inside your home you smelt the delicious scent that carried through the air along with the soft jazz music you could hear from the kitchen. When you entered you were greeted by a enthused Magnus who did his everyday duty of administering your daily dosage of puppy kisses. After you went to the kitchen.
" Hey, mama. Been waiting to see you all day." Austin chirped from his post at the stovetop. He looked to have been making Fajitas and yellow rice, one of your favorite things he made, but  your stomach didn't jump at the sight of them like they normally would.
" Hi. That smells good, babe." You responded slowly inching toward the living room faking a smile. Really the closer you got, the more you wanted to gag. It smelled so funny.
" Thanks. I figured it had been a hot minute since I'd made it and I know its a favorite of yours. I thought we might eat this for dinner then maybe we could finish another chapter of the book we got Saturday upstairs."
You just nodded, " Yeah, Aus. That sounds nice. I'm gonna go lie on the couch for a little bit though. Feeling little tired." You informed.
Austin had to hold back the sullen expression that wanted to form and instead replace it with a small smile, usually whenever he cooked you were perched right on a seat at the kitchen island chattering and giggling. But as of recent that hadn't been the case and Austin would be lying if he said it didn't bother him.
" Okay."
From there the two of you had dinner as normal making little small talk here and there. Mostly work talk and little about plans for the summer the two of you had made which now made you said since they might not be feasible with the new information of your...condition.
Post dinner Austin let Magnus out to potty before you both ventured upstairs with the happy hound following where the two of you separately shower and change to then got in bed and Austin took his turn to read.
Feeling actually tired you let him sort of cuddle you with his unoccupied hand on your back while your head rested on his chest and your legs were intertwined.
Seeing that the book was a romance once you'd hit a certain part of the chapter it'd gotten..spicy . And with the two of you particularly in a enclosed space like your bed, it wasn't shocking to you when Austin decided to make a move.
He'd leaned in and grabbed your face pulling yours to his in a sweet kiss. A kiss that you couldn't help but naturally blend into. This was the most action the two of you had seen in a while. He was enjoying being this close to you. He drank in the scent of mango and vanilla that came from you and savored the soft of your skin on his fingertips.
Gaining more traction without breaking the union Austin had managed to to set the book aside on the nightstand while maneuvering to hover over you. Everything was okay until you felt a hand move from caressing the top of your breast down to brush the top of your stomach.
Startled you abruptly pulled away alarming Austin.
" Whoa. Hey you alright? What's the matter? " He questioned searching your face.
Putting on a poker face you nodded, " Yeah I'm fine, babe. Just..do you mind..." You trailed silently gesturing for him to move off.
Obliging instead of just rolling over, Austin got up from the bed standing to look at you. You couldn't quite pin-point what he was thinking, but from his expression it was clear he was bothered.
" Y/N what's going on? Is it me? Have I done something? "  He asked.
Shaking your head you scooched off the bed moving to stand, " Of course not, Aus. Why would you think that? It's fine. I'm fine." You said feeling a whoosh of anxiety enter your chest.
" Well I honestly don't know what you want me to think, baby. I mean as of late every time I come near and try to hold you , you move away from like I got the plague. We haven't had a date night in three weeks because you always keep saying you're too tired or busy. Whenever I'm home and I cook dinner for us you don't wanna even sit down and eat with me." Austin poured looking at you with pleading eyes. " It feels..like you don't want me around most days."
Your eyes began to water hearing his outpour of concern and neglect.
“ That’s not true, baby. You know I want you around all the time.” You tried assuring.
You hadn’t meant to get this way. You felt terrible. Like a monster. You'd never meant to make him feel this way.
A bitter laugh left him, “ I can’t tell.”
Looking at you he could see that you felt bad and once your tears began rolling,  he felt his eyes begin to feel moist.
" Baby...." He dragged out trying to keep the strain against his voice small, " We're not even making love anymore. The last time you let me touch you was almost a month ago. A-and before that we could barely keep our hands off each other." He painfully pointed out thinking about all the passionate love making the two of had been doing. You used to joke around with him and tease that he had to be part energizer bunny because he never needed a recharge.
But nonetheless it was true.
You'd been avoiding him, and tucking yourself away while you tried to figure out what you were going to do.
Doing little things like wearing loose clothes even to bed when he knew you preferred to be near naked most times. When he'd offer shower with you, you'd always politely decline brushing it off as you were just going to be in and out. You put space between the two of you when you watched shows or ate dinner. Austin had taken note of it all, and while he had been trying to give you some space and be supportive. But he feared he was at the end of his rope.
But still you couldn't find the voice to say anything back to him, and this unfortunately heighten his emotions so bad that he said the unthinkable.
" You know what cut the shit, Y/N! " Austin sighed placing his hands into his face. " Who is he? " Austin accused feeling like you'd just been struck in the chest.
" E-excuse me." You gawked in disbelief at what your fiancée was shockingly insinuating. He had to know better than even letting a passing thought like that enter his mind.
" You heard me. Who is he? " He repeated with more attitude. " Because whatever you're not getting here you gotta be getting somewhere, right? It's Lucas isn't it?" He sourly threw out the name of the name of your friend who'd been helping with your photography classes you'd enrolled in. The same Lucas from the night at Alana's party that had tried to get extra friendly with you. “ You’re fucking him, aren’t you?” The words thrown out like venom.
You felt you heart race prompting you to rest a hand on your chest as you tried to calm yourself down. But no much how much steady breathing you practiced, it wouldn't help stop the tears that began cascading down your face, " Austin...H-how could you even think that. No! There isn't anyone else. Not Lucas..not anyone!" " You choked out in disbelief full on crying now.
Raising his head to look at you he sighed, " Ah hell, Y/N." He mumbled in discontent at seeing you cry the way you were. He hated when you cried. " I don't know what to think at this point! This isn't like us. This isn't like YOU."
You nodded feverishly trying to calm down, " I know...I-I just don't feel like myself, Austin." You half confessed being sure to leave out the major components of why.
" Okay, I understand. And I absolutely hate that your feeling that way. But I can't help you if I don't know what's going on. Can please you tell me what's wrong. I wanna be here and help you. But you're shutting me out. Please." Austin pleaded looking at you intently, all he was asking was for something..really anything that you could tell him to steer him in the right direction. Because right now he felt lost.
Biting your lip to the point of near bloodshed and twiddling your thumbs you contemplated just spilling your guts and telling him right then and there, but the little voice in your head agonizingly sniping at your thoughts wouldn’t allow it.
If you tell him now it becomes real. And there isn't anything guaranteeing that he'll be happy. I mean you told him about your childhood, why would he want someone damaged like you to raise a child with.
Who would want you as a mother?
Feeling like the walls were caving in you just barely spoke, " Austin. I want to....But I can't.... I just can't."
The words had come out.
And now you had to painfully watch as his face fall at your response. It was like you could see a little embers of hope die behind his eyes, and it broke your heart even more to watch as he sniffled up what would have been a stray tear.
When he responded his voice sounded taut, " You know when we first started dating and we played that game with all the questions. And I asked you to describe our relationship in three words. One of the words YOU specifically picked was honest." Austin reminisced reminding you both of the happier time. He took a second to breath until his glossy eyes met yours in a intense lock, " W-when did that change?"
Once he finished, he then proceed to back away from you softly wrenching the bedroom door open, he casted you one more look before closing it behind him.  Leaving you to shakily lay yourself down on the bed and wrap yourself in the covers to ensue in a good old fashion sob out.
That night for the first time since the two of you had gotten engaged and moved into the loft you'd sleep alone in your king size bed. You heard when the guest bedroom had opened and closed. This only made you cry more.
You felt cold. And not just because the usual warmth Austin gave off holding you in the night wasn't present, but really because it was as if you were standing in the middle of nowhere with no shelter and no place to turn.
You felt alone.
In the wee hours of the morning while your fought yourself in and out of sleep you'd heard the bedroom slowly creep open. With your back to the room you listened as he moved about the bathroom and the closet in what you knew was him getting ready for the interview line up he had today for some of the precursors for award season.
You so badly wanted to turn around and call out for him. Apologize and explain everything a thousand times over. But still it felt like your body physically wouldn't move.
When he came out the final time, you could hear him come to his side of the bed and put something on the duvet. He sighed before turning around and back out the door closing it softly behind him. The alarm chime could be heard soon after and that's when you knew he was gone.
Slowly pulling yourself up to turn around. You hit the toggle for the lights and looked at the folded note that sat on his pillow.
You'd be laying if you said that your heart didn't fall to your ass. Was he leaving you?
Numbly you grabbed the note bracing yourself to take in it's contents.
Then you read it,
Dear Y/N,
I know that I already told you that I'd be out for most of the day today but I also wanted to let you know that when I get home I'll be retiring to the guest room.
I don't exactly know what's going right now but I just feel like I'm putting in so much effort into this relationship as of recent only to receive half of it back. And as a couple who recently got engaged..this worries me. I understand that you have a tough time opening up about certain things bothering you and that is completely understandable. But just what I don't understand is why your pulling back from opening up to me after all we've been through in two years of progression.
With that being said, for right now I think it'll be good if we just take some space. Hence why I'll be staying in the guestroom for a couple of days. Unless you're ready to talk in some type of honest capacity or there is some type of emergency, I ask that you please respect this boundary for the time being.
I love you, Y/N. And I know we can work at this and overcome whatever is going on.
But I badly need you to try.
I'll still be home in time to make dinner as normal and I'll leave you a plate in the microwave.
All my love always, forever, and beyond,
Austin.
Gonna post some SW AU ideas
(Fair warning: most of these are tcw/clones-adjacent because that’s where the brainrot is lmao
Also I am ONLY fully done watch the first 2 prequel movies and season 1 of tcw. I know what’s gonna happen after, but not every detail of it.)
Starting with:
Shmi the Nanny
Ok so.
A few months after Anakin is taken to become a Jedi, Jango goes to Watto’s for help on his ship, so Watto sends Shmi to go work on it while Jango watches. Idk, he’s probably got nothing better to do. While she’s working on fixing the problem, he decides to pass time by telling her about the kid he just got: how he’s the sweetest thing ever, how he looks like an angel, maybe he even stops Shmi’s work to show pictures or something. But, the important thing is this: he knows that Kamino’s no place to raise a child, and he trusts both the nanny-bot and the Kaminoans about as far as he can throw them.
Getting an idea, he then looks at Shmi and asks if she has any experience with kids.
She, obviously, answers yes.
Jango walks back in to Watto’s store, stays in there for a few minutes, and when he comes out, he tells her that she’s coming with him to be his kid’s nanny.
I wanna make it clear that Jango DID NOT free Shmi: she’s still got her chip, Jango’s just got her detonator. He’s simply her new owner, and, as Shmi’s gonna learn, a REAL piece of work.
So they go to Kamino, and meet up with whichever Kaminoan is there to greet Jango. He introduces Shmi as Boba’s live-in nanny for when Jango goes on bounties and such, and they take her to the Tipoca apartments to get settled in. While walking there, Shmi notices the tubes carrying the other clones on the weird merry-go-round thing in canon, and gets told that those are the Jedi’s clone army.
The Jedi.
The very same Jedi she allowed Ani to go live with.
Why did the Jedi need an army?
But they make it to the apartments, Shmi gets one right next to the Fetts, and Jango introduces her to little baby boba, only a few months old. She also gets introduced to the Cuy’val Dar, since she’ll be in close quarters with them.
For the first few days, Shmi just walks around, taking in all of the sights Kamino has to offer (like all the WATER, holy kriff), but gets rebuked by whoever’s nearby when she tries to go into the cloning facility.
Finally, Jango harshly wakes her up in the middle of the night and takes her to his apartment, telling her that if anything happens to boba, it’ll be on her. With that, he leaves, and shmi falls asleep on the couch, only to be woken up by boba’s crying.
She ends up taking care of him for a month and a half, Jango nowhere in sight for all of it, only for him to return in the middle of the day and coldly kick Shmi out of the apartment.
The pattern repeats: Jango leaves for at least a month, comes back for just a week or two, then it’s back out again.
Some highlights of this idea:
Shmi bonding with certain members of the Cuy’val dar, with one of them even giving her her own blaster
Shmi officially meets the rest of the clones when Boba turns four, having lost him after turning her back on him for only a minute. Alpha-17 finds him and gets him back to her
Boba gets to listen to some of her stories/eat food from tattooine
Boba in general growing up with a positive influence instead of being a super-duper isolated brat.
Shmi straight up killing Dred priest when news of his fighting ring reaches her
Shmi thinking about how the only people she likes on this miserable planet are just the kids (and yes the men bred to die are kids to her. Sue her she literally watched them grow up) cuz the adults are different shades of asshole
And other stuff
Lemme know what you think!
Machine Memories- Day 1: Nostalgia
Acknowledgements:
Well, here we are! Sorry I’m late to this event! Dang, it's been ages since I've written for Bendy content on any of my socials... So, I wanted to preface this fic by saying that Eclipse and A Small Bit of Kindness aren't going anywhere, I promise. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, feel free to skip to the next paragraph or first chapter below the cut) There has been a lot going on these past few months and I'll talk more about it once those stories update. I'm not done with Bendy content-- far from it actually! I just have a bit of a hard time focusing on one specific story for too long or I get burnt out. So, as an apology, I'm doing Ink Demonth from Tumblr to try and get the gears turning again. Nothing too long or too big, just short little snippets-- that is of course unless I get super invested on a prompt and get carried away. Given my track record, I'm definitely not promising this will be done in one month; I'd be lucky to get it done in two!
And, as an added note, I'm dedicating Machine Memories to my best online friend @mister-magic. Thanks for sticking around so long, especially given how bad I am at updating things and have a habit of bouncing back and forth through fandoms. It really means a lot that you think I'm a good writer, even if most days I don't feel like I am. Taking the time to chat with me or let me ramble about my interests even if for a few moments has done a lot for me. So, thank you. (And go check out his work if you haven't, he's very talented!) :3
And I'm also dedicating it to those that know me from my other Batim fics and are still curious to know what comes next despite another unforeseen hiatus on new chapters. The support really does mean the world to me and keeps pushing me forward, and I wish so much that I could keep up with updating. I feel awful for not updating things for like 5-6 months...
Anyhow enough with the rambling, I hope you enjoy! I'm excited to see all the Ink Demonth has to offer! And go check out halfusek on Tumblr, they're hosting this event! <3
Summary:
Audrey takes a break from the hustle and bustle of work to unwind at her local park. Familiar sights and smells just might dredge up a few recollections of her past...
Tumblr media
Rating: G/PG
A park bench in the sun was the perfect place for Audrey to stretch her legs. She had gotten out of bed bright and early and eager to start the day, unaware of what disaster awaited her the moment she stepped into Archgate.
“Audrey, did you send those panels to Richard? He’s been on my case all morning” this, “Audrey, would you be a dear and take this to the writer’s department?” that. Audrey didn’t quite understand why these multitude of tasks were being thrust upon her— unless it stemmed from her desire to help her coworkers. She had been in a jam on more than one occasion, whether that be due to art block or struggling with looking at a scene through a different perspective. The least she could do was return the favor to aid her department.
She hadn’t realized how exhausted she was until she quite literally collapsed into her chair. The magnitude of leftover panels she had to complete by the deadline formed a miniature mountain on her desk. Audrey sighed a weary exhale. Well, she’d better get to work.
To her utter surprise Nathan Arch popped his head in thirty minutes later, claiming he was checking up on how the new episode was coming along. All bright eyed with a warm smile, that’s how he always greeted his employees.
Audrey stiffened— she had barely gotten through a fourth of her work! Nathan scrutinized her menial pile, then glanced to her flushed cheeks and slumped shoulders. Was he going to be disappointed in her presumed lack of work ethic?
Mr. Arch just guffawed with a rosy cheeked smile. “My, Audrey. You seem like you could use a breather.”
And that’s how Audrey had ended up lounging on a park bench during work hours. The sunshine warmed her skin, coupled with a pleasant breeze that tickled her cheeks. She sneezed. The flowers were in full bloom this time of the season, which irritatingly meant pollen was out in full force.
A small group of kids ran past her, kicking a soccer ball between themselves. It was a whirlwind of chatter, rapid movements, and lots of excitement.
Audrey’s gaze slowly observed the scenery before her, absorbing all its sights and sounds. A couple a few feet away stood with arms linked as they observed the rows of flowers lining the sidewalk. The man plucked a vibrant daisy and set it in his lover's blonde hair. A squirrel skittered up a tree, bushy tail twitching to and fro as it searched for nearby predators.
"Mommy! Mommy look! A birdie!"
Audrey hypnotically turned her head, her mind not quite meeting with reality. A few feet away a woman was holding hands with a young girl. The child was adamantly tugging her mother towards the creature in question. With a terrified squawk, the raven beat its jet black wings and lifted into the sky.
The child was left distraught with tears welling up at the corners of her eyes. Her mother frowned sympathetically, reached down, and raised the girl up to sit on her hip. “Oh, honey. You have to be gentle…” Her soft voice faded as she strolled out of earshot.
Audrey could hear faint giggling as reality seemed to fall away before her. A faint inkling of a memory began to worm its way into the limelight.
She was here many years ago. She‘d walked this same path… with her father. Audrey closed her eyes. The sight was so vivid and palpable, as if she could reach out and touch the past.
”What’s that, papa?” She had asked, enraptured by a small cluster of drooping blue petals. Her heart had been alight with wonder— it was the first time she had been to a park before! So many new smells, faces, activities, and sights just waiting for her in such a small corner of the city.
”Ah. That’s a bluebell. Beautiful, isn’t it?” Her father rumbled as he crouched down in front of the patch. He lifted one of the flowers with a finger. "Don't worry, it's healthy. This is just how they grow."
"Blue is my favorite color!" Audrey had bounced up and down on the balls of her feet. In the present, she wished things were as simple as they were back then-- when the only troubles she had were trying to pick a favorite color without "making the other colors jealous".
Now... Now things were different. Her father-- if she could even call him that anymore-- wasn't the man she thought she had known throughout her childhood. Audrey wrung her hands in her lap as she moved her gaze to stare at the concrete below. Her heart ached with longing for the simpler times. Her life was more than a mess, it was quite literally a disaster.
She missed their occasional walks in the park. She missed their daily breakfast collaboration-- Audrey had once accidentally got a pancake stuck on the ceiling one morning, prompting her father to let her stick to mixing the batter. When storms brewed outside and lightning sent her scrambling out of bed in a panic, she had always found solace with her father. Even though she knew she shouldn't... she missed him.
Audrey looked up at a small flock of birds winging south. A gentle breeze brushed her cheeks again. Despite the bittersweet recollections, Audrey wasn't despondent over the present. Though she had lost her father, she had gained a new family; one that was seeming to grow more and more every time she stepped into the Ink realm.
Henry was always a good level-headed friend she could vent her problems out to; reliable too. Allison was adept at making her way through the labyrinth of hallways and was always up for a good sparring match to sharpen Audrey's skills. Tom was a bit brash and gruff, but she knew the wolf meant well. Heidi and Porter were always a delight to see, and they loved pulling Audrey into various shenanigans and pranks they wanted to set up around the studio.
But the one person whom she felt she made the most progress with so far was the Ink Demon himself. He had taken to rooming with Audrey in her apartment whenever he grew tired of the Ink Realm. The demon wasn't exactly the easiest roommate, nor was he always friendly-- he kind of reminded Audrey of a stray cat learning to grow accustomed to the indoors. But he had certainly come a long way; he wasn't trying to kill her for starters.
They were both made by Joey Drew via the Ink Machine. So in a way, that meant they were kin. She had lost her father but gained a brother.
Hmm…
Perhaps the Ink Demon would appreciate a scene like this, whether he would admit to it or not. The memories she held of her father, as tainted as they might be now, it was part of her history. It helped make her into the young woman she was today; one that was adamant on looking towards a brighter future.
Maybe it was finally time to make some new memories...
I Think It's Love | Renjun Fic #1
Title: I Think It's Love
Genre: Fluff with slight angst
Warnings: subtle mentions of reader being insecure in the beginning
Word Count: 1496k
Author's Note: Uh, am I crazy for posting at such a crazy hour (it's almost 1 am a the time I'm posting this), considering the fact I have two finals literally tomorrow? Most likely yes. But that's what anxiety does to you lol. Also, I'm just a sucker for romance, and I think Renjun embodies that really well. So I hope you guys like this. Thank you for reading ^ - ^
Also, the title was somewhat inspired by Taemin's song. I also apologize if this is poorly edited.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*:・゚✧*:・゚✧・゚: *✧・゚:*:・゚✧*:・゚✧・゚: *✧・゚:*:・゚✧*:・゚✧・゚: *✧・゚: *✧・゚: *✧・゚
Every so often, Renjun’s eyes drifted to the black and white clock on the back wall of the rehearsal room. Usually, he was so focused on memorizing their choreography, especially when new moves came into play. But today, his mind kept wandering to something else. Even his members noticed the boy was more distracted than usual.
“Hyung, you’ve been checking the clock for the past half hour,” Jisung nudged the male, looking slightly concerned.
Mark was next to speak out. “Yeah, what’s up with you man?”
Renjun hesitated for a moment, unsure of whether he should answer honestly. But he was never one to beat around the bush.
“(Y/n) gets off of work soon, and I was thinking about going to see her,” He confided.
The Dreamie’s ears perked up at the mention of a girl’s name. “(Y/n)? You mean the café girl?” Chenle asked incredulously.
Renjun felt a flush of embarrassment rise to his cheeks and the urge to hit the younger boy for talking in such a loud tone. Of course, the other boys were quick to ask more questions.
“Oh?” Haechan’s eyebrows raised at his friend. “Does our Renjun-i have a little crush?”
The young singer groaned as Jaemin and Jeno chuckled in the background. He shot them an icy glare.
“It’s not like that,” He protested half-heartedly. Of course, he was only lying for the sake of his pride.
Over the past couple of months, Renjun spent more and more time with you. When you guys first met, you had been so timid. The first few times he stopped by the café, you had been so hesitant to engage with him. You could only offer a passive greeting before asking what he’d like to order. He picked up on how your gaze remained fixated on the touchscreen cash register, almost as if you were afraid you would break if you made direct eye contact with him.
Other customers might get annoyed with such a meek person. But Renjun was rather drawn to your reserved nature. He was so used to being around his members who were quite loud and boisterous. You, on the other hand, acted in complete contrast, exuding a mysterious aura that intrigued him.
So gradually, Renjun put in more effort to be friendly to you when he came to order his regular coffee. He started with polite questions, asking how your day was. From there, he would occasionally compliment your hairstyle or the cute sweaters you always wore.
Eventually, Renjun could feel you warming up to him. Initially, he just saw you as a younger sister he felt oddly protective of. But he began to feel different as he got to know you more. Your shared interests in food and music, as well as your life values, revealed a lot to him about who you were as a person. Renjun concluded it was the first time you opened up to him when he officially fell for you.
He had caught you on one of your bad days and offered a listening ear. You were a bit reluctant to be vulnerable to someone, especially a guy. But Renjun’s encouragement allowed him to learn about your deep-seated insecurities. Despite how weak you felt after practically spilling your life story, all Renjun could think of was how strong you were. Later, when you admitted that you had a hard time getting close to people, Renjun felt a sense of satisfaction. He knew that he earned a special place in your life, and it only confirmed his feelings for you.
“Are you sure?” Jeno questioned, snapping the boy from his daze. Renjun let out a sigh and glanced back at the clock. He realized he had been lost in thought for longer than intended.
“Okay, maybe it’s more than just that,” He huffed, wiping the sweat from his forehead with a towel before gathering his things. “But I really need to get going now, so don’t wait for me.”
Renjun left the dance studio and made his way to the café he’s grown fond of. A small smile stretched on his lips when he spotted her mopping the floors through the windows.
You internally grumbled when the ringing sound from the door set off.
“Sorry, we’re closed—” You started to say in the politest tone possible. Until you glanced up to see a boy wearing a light denim jacket over a plain white tee and dark pants. The black cap covered his currently silver hair, but you could still recognize it.
“Are you really going to turn away a customer?” He joked from the doorway.
You chuckled, “What are you doing here?”
“I actually finished up my schedule earlier today, so I thought I should walk you home,” Renjun said, trying to sound nonchalant as he scratched the back of his head. “It’s not safe to be alone at night, you know.”
Honestly, you were quite touched by his gesture. But you tried not to make it too obvious. “Thanks, Renjun. That’s so sweet of you.”
You quickly put away the mop and closed the shop so that you could walk out together. The two casually took turns listening to the other talk about their busy days of work and school. It felt refreshing, to have someone to vent to after a long day.
“Have you eaten yet?” You asked as you arrived at your apartment. It seemed rude not to offer him to come inside after he had been so kind to walk you home.
Renjun was already reading your mind when he shook his head no. That was how he found himself being led into your home, so you could make a late dinner for the both of you.
He watched in amazement as you prepared tteokbokki from scratch, carefully measuring and mixing the ingredients. He was used to making the pre-cooked one the guys would get from the store. But seeing you skillfully create this dish on your own, left him quite impressed.
You had to stifle a laugh when a low growl echoed from the boy’s stomach. Since you were close to being done, you beckoned him over to taste.
“Here, try this for me,” She instructed, raising the chopsticks to his mouth.
Renjun tried not to blush as he let you feed him. He chewed slowly, taking in the flavors from the spicy sauce and the softness of the rice cake. But he couldn’t help but think of the thoughtfulness behind your actions. Immediately sparks lit up, and his heart was pounding like a drum.
Meanwhile, you nervously anticipated his reaction. “What do you think?”
“I think…” He began to reply, feeling jittery as his eyes locked with hers. “I think I’m in love with you.”
Then, before she could properly process what he said, Renjun leaned in to close the gap between them. Her eyes doubled in size when his soft lips came into contact with hers in a tender kiss. Just as she was about to respond, he pulled away with an almost petrified look.
“Oh my gosh, (Y/n)-ah…I’m so sorry,” He stepped back to apologize, running a hand through his hair in distress. “I don’t know what I was thinking. I should’ve asked fir—”
Afraid he’d continue his awkward rambling, you took it upon yourself to cut him off. You bravely pulled him by the collar of his jacket so your lips could meet once again. Though he was taken aback by your actions, Renjun instinctively closed his eyes and surrendered to the kiss. It felt so natural to cradle your face in his hands, while your fingers gently pressed against his back. The taste of each other’s lips and the warmth of his touch were overwhelming. Renjun couldn’t hold himself back from deepening the kiss.
Neither of you realized how much you had wanted this until it happened. Moments later, you pulled away gasping for air but with shaky smiles on your faces.
“So I take it you feel the same?” He asked, still breathing heavily.
Seeing the endearment in his eyes made you want to cry and laugh all at once. But for the sake of maintaining your sanity, you nodded shyly.
“I think I’m in love with you too, Huang Renjun.”
Those words were all he needed to hear for a wave of relief to finally wash over him. He pulled you into a tight embrace, thanking you for reciprocating his feelings. You could feel the thudding of his heart against your chest, as he held you close.
You spent the rest of the night together, eating tteokbokki and exchanging shy banter about this new step in your relationship. As the night wore on the both of them just knew that this was just the beginning of something beautiful and exciting.
This is how it starts - Chapter 3
Pairing: Matty x Original Female Character Warnings: swearing
Chapter 1 | Chapter 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The next day I have a client who's not very talkative so I have time to weigh my options during work. I could text Matty and just tell him the date is off. Or I could go on the date and feel weird the whole time. Or I could just ignore it? Or I could fake my death and leave the country and tell Carly to give him my best and to enjoy life with his girlfriend. Great, I love overthinking. After a few hours of trying to figure out where and how I got the wrong Idea about Matty and about the flirting and about the date that's definitely a date because he called it that multiple times, I decide to text Matty.
Me: Hey Matty, I had a lovely time getting to know you but I don‘t think it‘s a good idea to go forward with this date on Friday. I wish you all the best.
There. That's good. Simple, unmistakably clear. I feel sad though. I liked Matty. He was refreshingly not boring and great to hang out with and nice to look at.
I go to the chat with Carly
Me: Did you know he had a girlfriend?
Carly: who? Matty? He‘s single as far as I know.
Me: No, apparently he isn't.
Carly: That‘s weird. Adam didn’t say anything. How did you find out?
Me: He was at my place and she called him, he ended the call telling her he loved her and then quickly left. Almost like he had a bad conscience.
Carly: That‘s weird.
I put my phone in my pocket and clean up the shop. I check the appointments for the next day, see that I still have to finish the drawing for my client tomorrow and get out my iPad to see the state of the rough sketch I made when they first made the appointment. I draw for a few hours, totally focussed on the task at hand. It's already dark outside when I'm happy with the design.
I get out my phone to check the time and see that Matty texted back.
Matty: honestly, that bums me out. What happened to change your mind?
Is he playing dumb? But fine, if he wants me to spell it out to him...
Me: I don’t want to be the girl you cheat on your girlfriend with.
He answers in a matter of seconds.
Matty: What girlfriend? Matty: Did you read something in the tabloids? It‘s all made up, you know?
Me: No?! I mean the girl that called you the other night? Danielle? Denise? Whatever! You told her you loved her??
Matty: Hannah
Matty: Darling
Fuck him, calling me darling right now!
Matty: That was literally my mother.
Oh. Oh.
Well now I'm completely mortified. The idea of faking my death and leaving the country seems more and more appealing.
Matty: But just to be completely clear I don't have a girlfriend. The last one broke up with me a few months ago, thanks for the reminder.
Me: Sorry to hear that.
Matty: No you're not :D
Me: The date on Friday is still off though, the floor just opened and will swallow me now. byeeeeee
Matty: I'll be at your place at seven
///
Friday rolls around and I'm nervous. I'm always nervous before a date because the whole spiel of do they like me and do I like them and are they a serial killer or a trustworthy person is terrifying and nerve wracking. But the Idea of a date with Matty is taking nerve wracking to a whole new level, especially after what went down the other day. I'm obsessing over my outfit and if it was the right choice and am just considering if I have time to change again when my doorbell rings. Ok, no 5th outfit change then. I grab my coat, check for my keys and leave my apartment. Matty is waiting in front of my building, big smile on his face.
"Hi! You look lovely" he greets me. "And other generic things to say when picking up your date" I jokingly snark and raise an eyebrow. Fucking hell where did that come from, he was just being nice! "Will you take the fucking compliment? Jesus" he laughs. "Fine, yeah, sorry, that was harsh. Thanks. You look lovely as well!" "I know" he retorts. "Talk about being able to take a compliment" I snort. "By the way, where are we going?" "Well I thought... ok tell me if you think this is lame but there's this small museum that shows an exhibition on 80s industrial punk zines and also some graphic design and photos from that era and I thought it'd be cool but like I said if you think this is lame we can totally do something else but I kinda wanna se it, I'm really interested in that kind of shit but haven't had the time to go there, no hard feelings if you don't wanna see it, I was just..." "Matty!" I interrupt his ramblings. He looks at me with raised eyebrows, I continue "that sounds quite very interesting, let's go there".
After about 15 minutes of walking we enter the courtyard of what looks like a former industrial building. We cross the courtyard to the entrance of the small museum. The exhibition is really just one room. The walls are filled with black and white photographs, pages from said zines and posters advertising gigs from 35 years ago of bands called Einstürzende Neubauten, Killing Joke and Skinny Puppy. Except for the former, none of the bands ring a bell but to be fair, 80s industrial rock isn't what I hear when I want to sing in the shower. I enjoy the aesthetic of it all, though. I also enjoy watching Matty who looks like a child seeing a Christmas tree for the first time. "Wow, you see, this is totally interesting, the scene back then was so DIY, really down to earth. They literally created all that stuff themselves." he muses. "There’s not many generative alternative scenes left, nowadays." He goes on to talk about bands like Slowdive and what he calls garage pop stuff. I just observe him. I'm not gonna lie, I haven't heard many of the bands he's mentioning but he's in his element and I love how passionate he is. After a while he looks at me and kind of stops himself. "Sorry, I... I'm really enjoying this, I'm probably rambling, it's just all so cool!" but it's so endearing. He's not afraid to like things. Unironically. "We should get going though, I reserved a table for us".
///
Half an hour later we sit down in a rather fancy looking restaurant and a waiter hands us a menu. "So...", Matty starts "how many kids do you want to have?" "Oh sod off, you!", we both laugh. "Haha, sorry, couldn't help it." I look around and start to feel kind of out of place. The people here are posh, there's no other word for it. I can't help but notice that I stick out like a sore thump with the tattoos all over my body and the kind of minimalist casual attire I had chosen for tonight. It's not a good feeling. I try to distract myself with the menu but metaphorically gulp when I see the prices, way out of my league. I get nervous, look over to Matty who's looking relaxed as ever. Right, right, I almost forgot he's a rockstar. Also out of my league. I refuse to let the uneasy feeling that's starting take over. Be who you are, face it head on, talk about it. I put the menu down and fold my fingers over it.
"Ok, I'm just gonna say it like it is: All I can afford here is a glass of water and a side salat without going hungry for the rest of the month. Yep, that's embarrassing but it is what it is, I'm a barely not-starving artist, not a rockstar, I already got my sister in law that awfully fancy pan and there's still the cozzie livs. Soooo, we might have to stop by a chip shop later. Or, I don't know, you have to pay" I say the last part before thinking better of it. Great. Talk about money, that's always such a good topic, not at all laced with all kinds of prejudice and negativity.
"Hm. That's a bummer, I thought you were paying", Matty hasn't even looked up from the menu.
I look at him with a raised eyebrow. He puts the menus down and places one hand over mine. "Darling, this is a date date, you're not paying for shit. Relax, it's ok. I'm not one of the guys who thinks a woman owes them sex when they pay for dinner. Also, I think, Carly would slap me if she found out I made you pay"
I laugh at that and relax a little. "I don't even know what half the words on here mean" I admit in a sort of whiny tone. "Is it rude if I google? Like, what's vadouvan spice? or Acquerello risotto?" at that, Matty just laughs. "I've got no fucking clue, to be honest. Ok I'll order us something and the next time we go to a restaurant that's less..." he waves around "...this?" "The next time, huh? Someone's feeling confident" "Yeah, I have to downplay how embarrassed I am about the fact that my choice of restaurant makes you uncomfortable by appearing overly confident, don't mind me." "God, you're such a self-aware millennial" We both laugh before I continue "Speaking of embarrassed: who the fuck has their mother saved under her first name?" "It's her name, what else would you like me to call her?" he sounds mockingly defensive. "I don't know? Mum lesser three?" "Lesser three?" "Yeah the little..." I wave my fingers, trying to convey the < 3 symbols "...heart thingy" "That's so gay" he laughs.
The waiter comes back and we order some fancy sounding dishes. "So, Matty, I have a question" "Ask away" "Would you rather kill a chicken with your bare hands or live with the chicken for a year" "Does the chicken have to come on tour with me?" "It sure does" "Yeah, then I'm gonna kill the chicken, I'm not dealing with a chicken on a tourbus" he laughs. "Ok fair, I don't blame you" He suddenly stills and his face sours, his gaze is fixed on a point behind me. I study his expression for a second and try to figure it out but come up with nothing. I want to see what seems to have turned his mood but as soon as I try to turn my head, Matty grabs my hand and clears his throat and wants to focus my attention back on him.
„What is it?“
„Nothing“
„You’re a shit liar“ I laugh.
„I don’t lie“ he says seriously.
„Like… ever?“
„Yeah. Ever since I got clean I try to not lie. Lying was the worst part about being an addict“
„Ok, wait, we just brushed three subjects in five seconds, I‘m getting whiplash.“ how did this conversation take this turn all of a sudden?
„Sorry, I‘m a lot“ he sounds sad now.
„No, Matty. It‘s fine“, I try to lighten the mood with my tone. „just… what’s going on?“
„Wait here, ok?“ he gets up and vanishes in the direction of the bar.
Well that leaves me baffled. I’m not annoyed or sad, just surprised. I play the conversation back in my head and try to figure out what nerve I hit that made his mood change that abruptly. I start to feel small and weird. Like I definitely don't belong here.
A few minutes later, Matty comes back, stops at the table and just says "Let's leave, please?"
I look at him and see that his expression conveys a sense of urgency. I get up, grab my coat and let him guide me out of the place. On my way out I meet the eyes of a giggling woman who looks at me knowingly. I frown at her and try to make sense of it all.
Once we're out on the street, Matty starts walking without saying a word. I follow him, although I don't really know why. The vibe is off, to say the very least. We round a corner and I really don't feel comfortable anymore. I stop.
"Matty, what's going on?"
He turns around to face me, clears his throat and sighs. "There was a woman at the restaurant that took photos of us." I suspect it's the one that looked at me like she just hit a jackpot when we left. "She's probably gonna sell it to the tabloids and you're gonna be on the news tomorrow. At least it's going to be all over the internet."
I stay silent because I really don't know what to say now. Is this what it's like for him when he goes out in public?
"I'm sorry, Hannah, I can't do this to you"
"You're not doing anything"
"I am though. Like, when you're around me you're gonna end up in the crossfire of hateful comments because, you see, I'm a really bad person according to the internet. I fucked up, said the wrong thing, laughed at the wrong time and they hold everything against me, call me a Nazi or worse things. And everybody who's around me is guilty by association. I don't care anymore but I can't do this to you." he looks sad, almost like he's close to tears. I don't know what to say that might make things better. He must feel lonely. I want to tell him that I don't care, that I like him for who he is and that I will deal with it if that's what it takes but before I can open my mouth to say anything he just says "I'm sorry", turns around and walks away.
I just stand there and try to process what just happened. It doesn't take long for me to get angry at Matty. Fuck him for leaving me here, standing in the street like an idiot. He didn't even give me a chance to process this. What does he mean it's going to be all over the internet? A feeling of helplessness creeps up at me. I hate feeling this way. My heart hurts and I start feeling very sad. I can't process all of this right now and decide to just turn around and head home.
Kinktober Summer Rerun 2024: Prostitution ● GoYuu 🕶️🐯
【DAY 07】
[#GoYuu, Prostitution, camboy!Yuji, No Curse AU, obsessive!Gojo]
Gojo leaned back in his comfortable office chair, smiling as the live broadcast finally started, on time like usual. The week had been a long one, but finally seeing the sweet smile from the man who appeared on his screen simply washed it all away.
“Welcome back everyone~” Tora (“Yuji” Gojo’s mind corrected, knowing the name after using some of his contacts) greeted the chat. “So happy to see so many familiar names again, thank you for your support and always being here~”.
Gojo smiled at this, knowing he had been watching these streams religiously nearly since the very beginning of PinkuTora's debut on the cam website. Not once had he missed any of them, be it because he was sick or doing overtime at work.
He just had to see his cute tiger~
“Today I thought I could test out another gift I received from SixEyes” Yuji smiled, “It’s the new Discreet Tiger Friend!” he said excitedly. He then pulled the big and soft-looking tiger plush into the frame, fingers teasing the mechanical part on its lower belly. It was clear he was pretty excited about the gift.
“I had been thinking about getting the Discreet Polar Bear, since I missed out on the limited stock of this cutie” Yuji explained. “But I am so excited and happy to be able to own the cute tiger one now!! Thank you so much SixEyes, I love you very much for this” he continued, blowing a little kiss to the camera.
This had Gojo smiling, sending in a donation with a little message attached to it.
“Happy to see you here tonight with us, I knew I could count on you to join us,” Yuji said, sounding happy about it. “Ever better you will be able to see me make good use of your latest gift~~” he added while putting the tiger on the bed next to him.
“But before that, I want to make a little announcement!” Yuji said cheerfully, “I’ll be opening a raffle where the prize will be…” he then continued before pausing a little, now grinning, “Me!! You will be able to spend a night with yours truly”.
This had Gojo leaning in closer, even more focused on the stream (if that was even possible). A night with his cute tiger? He just had to win this. “You will get a ticket for every 25$ donated to me in the next two weeks, and then I’ll be drawing the winner live for everyone, so stay tuned for it” he explained, finishing with a wink. “You can find all the details on my profile, now let’s test this new cutie out~”.
Gojo had to win this one, he just had to. He would get this free night with his cute Yuji, and maybe he could make him want more of those~
It had taken great self-restraint from him not to just go and claim his cute tiger. After all, he was quite literally down the hall. The absolute shock he had felt when he realised who had moved into the vacant room on his floor. These were pretty expensive condos, so it wasn’t very often.
He felt like he had the V.I.P. treatment to be able to see him so regularly (and so what if he made sure to go out at times he knew Yuji would come out, it was for his love).
He had wanted to claim him, but he knew he would have scared him. But if it was this…
And so Gojo went crazy with the donation. He had so much money he wouldn’t necessarily know what to do with it, plus he never gambled, so why not spend a little on this? He was already in the top 3 donator each month, often being no.1, he felt confident in the number of tickets he could get.
And so Gojo drops quite the amount of money on this, keeping tabs on how many tickets he should have. He feels pretty confident that no one else has as many tickets as he possibly does. Even people in chat joke about how desperate SixEyes must be to win to drop even more than before.
He’s not desperate, he’s just making sure no one else can claim what is meant to be his.
And when the time comes to draw the winner, no one is really surprised when the name pulled out by the cute camboy is SixEyes. “Congrats on winning this raffle~” Yuji says happily, “And thank you to everyone who participated, it means a lot,” he said to the chat. “I’ll be contacting you soon Mister SixEyes, so we can make arrangements for your prize~~”.
Gojo nearly wants this night’s stream to finish early so he can finally be in direct contact with them (even though he has paid for private shows before). Only nearly though.
He’s still waiting at his computer after the show, waiting for Yuji to contact him. He has to restrain himself from responding within seconds when he does, not wanting to scare him with how obsessed he is (if his huge amount of money dropped on the raffle hasn’t already done so).
They chatted for a bit about how they could arrange this, Gojo assuring his cute tiger that he didn’t need to worry about where they would meet. He’d love to fuck Yuji in his own room, but he understood this might be too risky for the camboy. Also, he would like to surprise him a little.
And he was early on making booking arrangements. He picked one of the best hotels in Tokyo, with one of the best suits. After all, he couldn’t have his precious Yuji be in anything but luxury. It was all set up for a couple of nights from now, Gojo waiting for a little to give him the room he had booked (needs not to freak him out).
On the day of the meeting, Gojo was pleasantly surprised to bump into Yuji in the elevator going down in the morning. It only made his day even better that he was able to see him so early too. “Good morning, Itadori” Gojo smiled, holding the door for him to catch up. The young man looked just as surprised to see him “Good morning Gojo!!”.
They chatted a little, but silence fell comfortably. Gojo couldn’t help but note how even more cheerful his cute tiger seemed to be. He nearly always saw him with a smile on his face, but this seemed even more than before. “You seem awfully happy and excited today, something good planned?” Gojo asked, knowing very well what was planned.
A blush spread across the young man’s cheeks, looking down with a sheepish smile. “Does it show so much?” he asked with a chuckle. “I am… meeting with an acquaintance I met online” he explained, “feeling kind of excited about it, although I am also nervous, I never did this before”.
This had Gojo curious, excitement growing inside of him. Did this mean Yuji had never done this before? And that it was his first time giving away a night with him? He had offered it as if it was something he was used to, than to sell other services. It felt kind of natural in a way.
“Have you been in contact with them for a while?” Gojo asked, curious, “I feel like for you to accept you must trust them, I am sure everything will be alright” he assured him. Plus, he had (stalked) seen him at the gym downstairs many times before, he felt confident that if Yuji were to need it, he would be able to defend himself.
Not that he would need to tonight.
“You’re right… I am sure everything will go well” Yuji smiled, “I supposed I just can’t help feeling a little anxious”.
“I think it is only natural, I would probably be too,” Gojo said, although he couldn’t feel anything but burning excitement at the thought of meeting him later on.
“No way” Yuji giggled, “You always look so sure of yourself, it’s as if nothing could break your calm and confidence”. This had Gojo humming, amused. It wasn’t that far from the truth.
He nearly cursed the speed of the elevator when it dinged, telling them they had reached the ground floor. “Well, I supposed I’ll have to wish you a good day, Gojo” Yuji smiled as he stepped out. “I’ll wish you one too” Gojo smiled, “And may your meeting go smoothly~”.
Gojo wish the day could go by more quickly, he doesn’t really have the mind for any of the meetings and paperwork he has to deal with that day (to the dismay of his assistant). His mood lights up when he receives a message telling him Yuji will arrive a little early at the room (since Gojo already said it would be alright, he booked it for two whole days).
The man would have run to the hotel were it not for the fact that he first wanted to change into more casual clothes. Couldn’t show up wearing the same business suit Yuji had seen him wearing that morning. But once he was changed, he was at the hotel in no time, grabbing a key from the receptionist after giving the fake name he had used (had to keep the surprise after all).
When he entered the room he saw Yuji sitting on the bed, back facing him as he seemed to be organising things inside his pink-orange suitcase. Gojo noted he was wearing something he had never seen before.
He had catalogued everything he had ever seen the young man wear (be it on stream or while crossing his path). A rather nice ratio of it was even a gift Gojo had sent to his P.O. box. It made him wonder if this was something he had simply never worn on stream before, or if it was a little something new for today (he really wished it was the latter).
He started making his way towards the bed slowly after closing the door, smiling as Yuji finally turned to him. “Welcome SixE…” The young man started, only to stop when he saw who was there, eyebrow shooting up in surprise. He then suddenly grew very red in the face, as if finally processing who had just come in.
This had Gojo chuckling, grinning a little.
He discarded his coat on an armchair as he made his way to the bed, standing next to it. Yuji turned a little more to face him better, face still rather red. “Hi, Tora-chan~~” Gojo greeted, happy with the effect it had.
“I-I didn’t know that Gojo… that you were a supporter of mine,” Yuji said. “You never told me that you had seen… me doing my job” he said sheepishly, looking a little embarrassed at the thought of someone he knew outside of the internet knowing. Especially someone he lived so close to.
“From the start” Gojo hummed, “I fell for Yuji the moment I found your streams” he admitted. Something flashed across Yuji’s gaze, Gojo was unsure if he liked the thought or not, he hoped he didn’t assume he only liked his body. “Then I fell all over again when I met you the day you moved on the same floor as me, the sweetest and most adorable person I know”.
He then reached out slowly, and when the young man didn’t make a move to stop him or avoid him, he gently stroked his cheek. “You have no idea how much I love you,” he said, maybe even too much, but that didn’t need to be said out loud really. “Unless Yuji doesn’t want it to be me, I'll understand then” but he will be heartbroken about it.
“No!” Yuji quickly replied, grabbing his hand, “I was just surprised, never would have thought that someone like Gojo would be such a fan of me, even less love me like this” he admitted. “It actually makes me really happy it is you” he added, “I was nervous about meeting someone I don’t know, it makes me feel better to know the one being SixEyes was Gojo”.
This made the man feel rather proud, excited and pleased that it was going so well and that Yuji seemed really happy that it was him. Couldn’t have asked for better really.
“Now tell me, Tora-chan” Gojo started as he toed off his shoes, “what did you bring in that nice suitcase of yours?~~” he asked, climbing onto the side of the bed, towering over Yuji. One glance was enough to see all he had brought with him, Yuji looking a little flustered still but excited too about what was to come.
“I know what my biggest fan likes seeing me use, especially from the request you would make on our private shows” he smiled, crawling back to the suitcase. “I figured I’d bring some of them” he added with a wink, grabbing a pair of cute tiger ears to put them on. “Please take good care of Tora-chan, Gojo~”.
Gojo didn’t need to be told twice.
He pulled Yuji closer, bringing him into a heated kiss, hands sneaking under the loose blouse he was wearing. He felt a little surprised when he felt something under his finger that wasn’t skin, pulling back a little. He licked his lips as he slowly popped open the buttons, smiling at the sight.
He was wearing a lacy corset, hugging his toned body perfectly, covering his chest just enough to accentuate it. What a shame it hid away his cute nipples, although it made it that much more fun to uncover them. He wondered if Yuji was wearing any jewellery on them today.
“Look at you~” Gojo cooed, leaning in close again. “dressing up all nice and fancy for me” he smiled, Yuji looking happy that he seemed to really like it. “Never seen anyone prettier and sexier than you are” Gojo hummed, grinning a little more when he saw how Yuji reacted to the praise, a large hand still feeling the expensive fabric, caressing him through it. “Now I wonder what you hide under those cute mini shorts” he admitted, fingers slipping into the waistband just a little bit.
“I also think Gojo is very good looking” Yuji purred, leaving a little peck on his lips, hand slowly working his shirt open. “Always looking so stylish and fashionable” he added, before his eyes drifted down a little, following the path his hand made down his chest and abs. “And from what I’ve seen in our private shows, there’s good looking things hidden under too”.
Gojo was nearly purring at all this, really pleased that Yuji seemed to be just as into him. It made his plan to seduce him that much easier. He started kissing him again, hand working his blouse off so he could see properly what he was wearing. The pink lacy fabric was truly on-brand for his cute tiger~.
He then started kissing his neck, from this angle he was able to see what was inside of the suitcase. He grabs something quickly, placing it down on the bed. “I think I want to see what else you hide for now~” Gojo hummed, skilled finger opening his pants with ease and pushing them down. He pulled them down with one hand, the other already exploring the matching panties. When he reached the back he was surprised to be met with skin “What a naughty boy, wearing such revealing panties~” Gojo hummed, fingers finding the edge and tracing it. A pretty heart window just for him.
“Why don’t we finish up your cute costume” Gojo hummed, showing him the cute tiger tail plug he had picked up. The idea seemed to please Yuji, reaching out to grab a bottle and offering it to him. “Then will Gojo help me out,” he asked with a grin, guiding one of the older man’s ends back to his ass, “I’d really like it if you did~”.
What a question, of course Gojo wanted to.
He made sure his fingers were slick before starting, teasing him at first, trying to test the water. It wasn’t too hard to push one finger one, another following not too long after. “Look at how easily you are taking me inside of you~” Gojo cooed, kissing his neck again. When it seemed enough he grabbed the fluffy tail with his dry hand, pushing it slowly inside of Yuji.
He was a little surprised when Yuji pulled away afterwards, getting off of the bed with a little smile. “How do I look now?” He asks, twirling around a little. “Absolutely stunning, the sexiest being I have seen on earth” Gojo replied, smirking at the blush it brought to the young man.
He moved to sit on the edge of the bed, reaching out to pull Yuji closer to him. Truly the most beautiful person had ever seen, Gojo was certain no one could rival with his precious tiger. He was pretty sure that hunger was written all over his face at this point, it was hard to hide when he had the object of his desires in front of him.
“I am happy to hear this~” Yuji hummed, before sinking down to his knees. “Now, how about I thank you for the love and support you have shown me all these years” he said, eye falling a little half-lidded as he looked back up at him, hand mindlessly rubbing over the growing erection.
“I would never refuse such a tempting gift from you~” Gojo replied, leaning back a little, watching him. For someone who said he had never done this before, Yuji was quite skilled with his mouth. Although he had made a good show online of what he could take, even if it wasn’t with a partner. It was still impressive seeing him take Gojo all the way down on the first try, no one had done that before.
He couldn’t help but let his fingers get buried in the soft pink locks, grabbing onto him a little bit as he moved his hips in rhythm with Yuji. He felt embarrassingly close to the edge for so little, but how could he not when he was so excited and had such a great view.
He still managed to hold out for long enough not to be embarrassingly fast, voice rough as he warned Yuji. Yet the young man didn’t back off, drinking in all that was coming out. He even teased him with a couple of kitten lick, as if to finish cleaning him off. “Nothing was spilt ~ Thank you for the treat,” Yuji said.
And this had Gojo rilled up all over again.
He pulled the young man up with ease, lifting him up. He chuckled at the surprised yelped this got Yuji, who probably didn’t expect someone to pick him up as if he weighed nothing. He manoeuvred them around the bed as he started kissing Yuji again, only stopping when he laid him down into the pillows. “Now it's my turn~” Gojo smiled with a wink.
Yuji seemed a little surprised as Gojo started kissing his way down hands pulling his panties down enough to free his cock. He gave some kiss to it too, looking up at Yuji with a satisfied smile. It was as if he had really not expected for the action to be returned.
In no time he had the young man buried in his mouth, licking him as if he were a tasty lollipop, bobbing his head. He eventually even played with the plug a little bit, gaining some interesting noises from Yuji. He quite liked what he was hearing.
And as much as he liked how he looked with it, gojo ended up pulling it out, which earned him a needy whine. This had him chuckling around Yuji, pushing his fingers inside of him once again. This only made the young man even louder, hand grabbing onto him as if unsure whether to bring him closer or away.
“Wait Gojo, I’ll” He tried to warn as he pushed away a little. Yet this only made the man grab onto his waist, keeping him in place as he sped up the tempo, barely stopping even as Yuji came down his throat.
When he was done he straightened up a little, licking his lips as if to not miss anything. “Tasty,” he said, winking down at Yuji, “I think you are now ready for the main dish”. Yuji nodded to this, a leg hooking around his waist to try and bring him closer. “Yes please, I can’t wait anymore”.
Gojo leaned over him at his word, chuckling lowly. “How eager, I like this~” he said, placing himself between his legs with ease. He didn’t waste any time entering him, feeling himself slide in smoothly. “Fuck, so tight” Gojo mumbled, not having expected that to happen. He had thought it would have been enough, although, from the face, Yuji was making he wasn’t in pain.
He opted for kissing him again, trying to distract him a little while he got adjusted to him. Once it seemed fine he started moving, enjoying the slow drag of Yuji wall’s against him, burning in his memory all the faces and sounds he would make. Gojo felt like he could probably not be happier now that he had the one he wanted most in his arms.
“Gojo, faster pleeease” Yuji whined, grabbing onto the sheet as he tried rolling his hips. Instead, he found himself with his hips grabbed firmly, keeping him in place. “And what if I want to tease you and go slowly? You know I do enjoy taking it slow at times~” he pointed out, reminding him of the time when he was dictating what Yuji should do on his private shows.
“Not fair” Yuji pouted, before biting his lips when Gojo pushed a little more firmly just the right way. “I thought SixEyes would devour me the moment he could get his hands on me” he stated.
“Oh sweetheart, you have no idea how I want to devour you whole” Gojo hummed, rather amused that this feeling had slipped out through their exchange. “There’s no worry, I’ll devour you to my heart's content, but right now I want to tease you a little” he added, “Maybe if you beg me a little~ I know you are good at that~”.
Yuji’s eyes grew a little half-lidded at this, batting his eyelashes at Gojo. “Pleeease Gojo” he started, trying to wiggle his hips again, “I really want you to fuck me properly, fuck me so hard that I’ll still feel it tomorrow, I want to come on your cock, I beg you”. And he continued like this, getting whinier when Gojo only chuckled, not giving in yet, clearly enjoying it all.
Then once he pulled out enough that only the tip was still inside, he pushed in deep and rough, pushing the air out of Yuji. The moan that escaped him was nearly a scream, looking surprised. “Then I suppose I’ll have to give in” Gojo said, now moving faster and rougher than before. He had gotten enough teasing, it was indeed time to fuck him properly.
He thought Yuji was beautiful before, but he truly looks like utter perfection now under him. Feature dripping with lust and pleasure, something he was bringing him. Not some toys, not anyone else. Him.
“You feel so good” Gojo managed to say, nearly drowned out by the sound of skin slapping together and moans. He could drown in this feeling, the warmth, the way Yuji clamped around him as if he wanted to keep him inside forever. He could feel Yuji holding onto him, hissing a little when pretty painted nail dung into skin, not that he hated the feeling. He’d wear the marks proudly until they faded away.
“Can I come inside” Gojo ended up asking as he left open mouth kisses against his throat, groaning against him.
“Yes please, fill me up, please” Yuji nodded frantically, his begging cut by moans.
“Hehe then I won’t hold back” Gojo chuckled.
His pace became even faster and more erratic, his grip on Yuji so tight he was certain he’d have bruises the next day (he would apologise for it later, for now, he revelled at the thought of leaving marks on him). He kept that angle he had found earlier, making sure to hit Yuji's g-spot every time he would trust back in.
Yuji was the first one to cum, Gojo cursing at how tight he suddenly became, pushing him over the edge. The sight of Yuji cumming from his cock alone would have been enough though, he looked so fucked out, pretty laces ruined by his cum. He kept grinding slightly as he finished spilling inside of him, before coming to a stop, panting heavily.
They stayed quiet for a moment, neither really able to talk at the moment anyway. Gojo leaned down once he was able to breathe more evenly again, slowly kissing Yuji. It wasn’t like his first kiss, this time more slow and languid, enjoying the softness of his lips.
Yuji looked a little lost, making him chuckle softly as he pulled out. “Are you already exhausted?” he asked, sounding a bit amused, “Didn’t know I was that good”.
This made the young man look back at him properly, a grin forming on his lips. “Don’t underestimate my stamina~” Yuji replied, throwing his arms loosely around Gojo’s neck.
“Then I suppose you are ready for more?” Gojo asked, a hand snaking under him so he could pull him up. He found himself with Yuji straddling his lap, smiling down at him. “Because I would like to make good use of all the nice little toys you brought here with you~”.
He knew the night would be long when Yuji’s grin widened, diving down for another passionate kiss, seemingly ready to go again.
