Earth’s speech/apology to Titan, except he reveals to everyone (including Luna) just how much pain he’s in because of his Earthlings all the time. He talks about the drilling, the pollution, global warming, all of it.

He talks about how some of them genuinely try to help him, but most don’t care at all, and the only reason he keeps them around is because of how much Luna loves them. He talks about how Luna watches over them, how he seems so empathetic, so caring towards every single life, that Earth can’t even consider ending them. He talks about how, sometimes, it seems like the Earthlings care more about Luna than they do about Earth.

He begs the moons not to kill them, not for his sake, not for the Earthling’s themselves, but for Luna.

And it works.
