this might sound insensitive but taash is currently my biggest disappointment of the companions because there is literally nothing to their story other than the gender identity

#idk how to describe it but their whole quest (and especially the accompanying coded entries) are so jarring #like they're very modern sounding and therapy speaky? which is just weird in what's supposed to be a medieval setting #also it's such a missed opportunity since qunari already have a completely different view on gender than the rest of thedas #not to explore something with that instead of just using 21st century language and explanations #(and i say all this as someone who's been going through my own gender thing for the last few months akskdkd)#i get what weeks was going for but it felt more like a beginners guide #for people who've never heard of non-binary #than an actual storyline #which is genuinely disappointing when compared to the other companions #who have interesting shit going on #don't know why they couldn't give them a plotline alongside the gender stuff lol #datv lb #datv spoilers #datv critical
