“Can I come over? I���ll ask hyung to drop me off at yours.” I could hear the cars passing by him, louder than I expected the city streets to be at 3 am.

“You don’t have a schedule for tomorrow?” I ask, barely holding the phone between my head and shoulder. For some reason, I thought it’d be a good idea to paint my nails at this hour. 

“Also blue or red?” I cut him off before he can answer my previous question. I clink the nail polish bottles in my hands.

“Blue. And nooo, it’s my off day…” And then he’s quiet, I can hear his nerves through the phone.

“You want me to say ‘yes,’ don’t you?” I smirk, hoping he can feel my teasing nature from his end. 

He groans, annoyed that I’m making it difficult for him and I bite my lip to stop myself from giggling. He’s such a baby.

“Of course I want my girlfriend to say ‘yes’ to me asking to come over. Are you insane?” I listen to him huff and I can sense the text I’m about to get from Renjun, telling me to get Mark to quit whining.

“So dramatic,” I snicker. I start to pack up the nail polish, already knowing he’ll be here in five minutes regardless of my answer. “You’re on your way, right?”

I’m met with silence and I hesitate putting my clear coat back in the cabinet.

“I’m outside.”

“Of course you are. No respect for my decisions I see.” In contrast to my words, my heart is actually racing. I almost slide across the floor at how fast I run to the buzzer.

“Just open the door,” Mark whines some more and I can hear the buzz from the other side. I hang up the phone and open the door, ready to see his face.

It’s been a week since I’ve last seen him, if you’re not counting the facetime calls at random hours – he’s lucky my job isn’t strict on my phone use. I never know how much I miss Mark Lee until he’s busy with his hectic schedules. It took me awhile to accept and appreciate the nature of our relationship. Mark thanks me whenever he can for putting up with his lifestyle. What he doesn’t know is that I love him so much that I can easily make his lifestyle mine. Even if that means seeing him randomly at 3 am on a Wednesday.

I poke my head out and I see a figure stalk down the hallway, a hoodie hiding his head. 

“Psst,” I whisper and his head lifts to find my voice. He speedwalks over and I tug him in, carefully closing my front door.

“You know I know where you live right? Like I won’t get lost,” Mark laughs, leaving no time to pull me in for a hug. I feel my muscles relax into his and I don’t realize how much I needed it. His time. His space. Him. 

The more I soften in his embrace, the tighter his arms squeeze. “You’re precious cargo. Gotta make sure my man arrives safely.”

“Your man?” Mark leans back to show me how happy my word choice made him. Even on his tired face, his smile shines brightly. No eye bags can hide the gleam of his brown eyes.

I roll my eyes and slap his chest. “You heard me, weirdo. Stop acting like it’s new news.”

“Ahhh,” He lifts my feet off the ground to nuzzle into me some more. “I can’t help that it sounds so good.”

“You know what else sounds good?” I ask when he puts me down. “A movie sesh.”

I split from his embrace, scurrying to the kitchen to hide the new dust of pink on my cheeks. The effect he has on me never wears off, even after all this time. It’s almost embarrassing.

“Ah, my girl’s a genius,” I hear his feet chase after me to hug me from behind as I grab a pack of popcorn from the cabinets. I can feel his soft breathing on my shoulder and it feels unreal that he’s physically here. I can actually feel his chest rise and fall against my back. I’ve gotten so used to listening to him fall asleep on the phone.

“Your girl?” I mock.

“Shut up.” Mark mutters into my shoulder. I reach back to stroke his hair when I’m met with the fabric of his jacket.

“Why do you still have your hoodie up?” I twist around in his arms to face him and his head swiftly repositions to fall into my chest. I try to push his head back up, but he’s stubborn.

“What are you hiding, Mark Lee?” I flick his head and he exclaims.

“Ow! Why are you so violent?” He finally looks up and I flip his hoodie back before he could protest again.

It’s gone. His hair.

“Your hair.” 

Mark looks down at me shyly, biting his lip. I watch him run his hand through his undercut, focusing on the fact that it’s so short his black strands don’t file through his fingers anymore. Or that his ends don’t slightly curl around the nape of his neck. He even has etchings shaved into the sides. I can’t remember if I already knew about this and saw it over facetime or if it’s a new change to his appearance. Maybe it’s been longer than a week since I saw him last. The shock on my face is evident.

He squeezes my hip to bring me back. “You like it?” So it is new.

Mark grabs one of my hands and guides it through his haircut. It almost hurts with how prickly it is, but it’s fun. It’s new. And the way he sighs into my hands makes my chest tighten. 

“It’s… it’s kinda hot.” I take both of my hands and run them through, not really missing how easy his hair was to tug before. It’s a new look and I can tell he’s confident in it. I wonder if I could get him to shave my initials next time. 

“Yeah?” Mark stands up straighter, a fiery look in his eyes as he watches me admire his cut. My fingertips dance across the hair. I barely miss the way his tongue swipes across his lips.

“Yeah, I love it.” I can’t contain my smile, and he chuckles at my reaction. He tugs my waist in closer before planting a long kiss on my cheek. “I can see your pretty face so much better.”

He groans, letting his head fall into the side of my neck, nipping at my skin instinctively. I snicker at his reaction, letting my fingers massage his scalp.

“You’re killing me,” he says, almost like a whisper. I pull his face in front of me, watching the shy pout form on his lips. I give him a peck and watch him chase my mouth for more.

“Ditto.” I admit, caving into his cry for more kisses.

he gives you money so you can buy them snacks for your classroom (and other supplies! my teachers in high school always had sanitary pads, tampons, snacks, and other stuff in them in case students needed them)

he wants to help you make sure your students feel safe in their classroom

he also funds the senior pizza party at the end of the year and even makes an appearance!

I believe Chenle is also good with little ones since he's always posting with his family (especially his, I believe, little nephew)

he love's helping you choose coloring pages for your students to do when they're done with their minute math sheets (the stress it causes is always rewarded with coloring time!)

you tell hi not to do it, because kids love to break things and lose them, but he doesn't listen

"do you know seunghan-" "your friend?" "best- friend. we've been like this since me and seonwoo we're in diapers still.." you said crossing your fingers, mimicking your close bond with the boy. "yeah, well what about him?" jisung said, looking up at the clear sky. "well his girlfriend hates me and jiho- another one of my best friends, because we're women, and we're friends with seunghan." he scoffed, rolling his eyes.

"ive had my experience with a lot of those types of women, he needs to let her go... it's only going to get worse for him, and you."

"we've tried to tell him discreetly, you know, as his friends, we'd never push him to do anything that he didn't want to. but earlier today he told us that she often calls us out of our names, apparently calling us sluts and whatnot, for hanging out with him."

"and what did seunghan do about that?" jisung asked, sitting up on the sand, and pulling you up along with him. "he says that he told her that he'd break up with her if she ever tried us like that again.." "so he does want to break up with her?"

“he says he loves her, jisung… and who am i to argue with love?” you expressed, feeling a bit torn apart. you loved your best friend with your whole heart and soul, and you hated seeing him look so distraught and stressed out like this— especially over a woman that was supposed to be his peace..

jisung agreed, “yes, you can’t argue with his love for her, but you’re thinking about what’s best for him.” ‘but if he loved and respected your friendships with him, he wouldn’t allow his girlfriend to say all this about you and the others… he needs to pick a side’ he thought to himself, when he should’ve been saying it aloud to you. you picked at the sand, conflicting thoughts swirling your mind. “yeah but what am i to do, he’s totally inlove with her..” “i can’t say”

because he wasn’t being honest, if he was being honest, he felt as if you should tell him ‘pick a side’ and call it a day.

And as for the oc, her name will be Choi Jisu as I really don't like working with Y/N. Anyways, happy reading <3 and another thing is that, I've excluded some parts like the texts and social media parts because it would've been too lengthy. When it comes to your first love, it usually hurts more than you think.

With a sigh, both Jake and Jisu got in the car and started to drive away. To say, it was so hard to explain how they started dating and how, both of the moms started to gush oven them, saying it was destiny.

And now, it's the next day.

Jisu didn't have morning classes today, so she came to the college late. Exactly an hour before her class as, she had to meet Jake.

He was currently waiting for her in the collage garden. She soon spotted him and waved at him. He smiled at her as she approached him.

“Hey butterfly” Jake smiled at her, making Jisu tilt her head.

“I don't understand, why you like calling me that” She asked him as he chuckled.

“I like you call you that for unknown reasons. Maybe I see butterflies as a cheerful species to exist on earth, and you remind me of them” She genuinely blushed at his statement as Jake handed her a cup of coffee.

Vanilla sweet cream cold brew, the one she always gets and also got back on the café when she made the deal with him. It's one of her favorite drinks and Jake was attentive enough to pick that up.

Renjun never knew her favorite drink.

“Thank you” She stated quietly as she held the sup near her lips and took a sip.

“So what—” She was cut off when suddenly, Jake held her waist and pulled her close, his breath hitting on her nose.

“Renjun. He's looking at us” Jake stated. He made it look like he was kissing her, as it

would make Renjun more jealous.

“Is he gone?” Jisu asked as she made eye contact with Jake. A fuzzy feeling running down her body as she gulped at the proximity.

Soon enough, Jake left her as the cold air, hit her body.

“I wanted to talk to you because Yunjin gave me an idea” She started, ignoring her pounding heart. “We should go on a date” She stated, making Jake look at her.

“A date?” Jake asked, making Jisu nod.

“It'll be honestly , so believable. We'll click some pictures together, and it'll make people believe it more” She said, making Jake ruffle her hair and nod.

“Sure, let's do that” He smiled.

Jisu stated that she'll text him all the details before rushing to her lecture.

Jake just looked at her back, smiling at her cuteness. He tried to deny it, but couldn't.

He was starting to have a soft spot for her.

To say the truth, Heeseung, Jay and Sunghoon were still baffled with the sudden announcement of Jake and Jisu dating. It's already been a week, but they're still going on about how, the most silent guy of their group is dating and not them.

The girls, as in Ningning, Karina and Hanni took in the fact that they were dating but, Yujin and Yunjin's act was too believable.

Currently, they're all sitting on the cafeteria with Ningning asking questions to Hanni about her ideal type.

“Age wise, older men or younger men?” Ningning asked as Hanni blinked a few times.

“Older men” Hanni replied as Ningning went on with her question round but stopped when Jake reached at their table with two cups of coffee as, he sat one down in front of Jisu.

“Let's go on a date tonight, Butterfly” Jake stated, a smile displayed on his lips.

Heeseung gasped dramatically as everyone's jaw dropped. “That was too smooth!” Karina cheered as Sunghoon pouted.

“He stole my girl” He grudged as Yunjin patted his back, filled with sympathy.

Everyone knew, Sunghoon was actually playing, so they didn't mind him acting like that.

Jisu smiled softly and nodded, making Jake smile back at her as he ruffled her hair.

It was a mess.

Jisu was so annoyed that she messed up her whole closet and now, she's laying on the floor like she just got punched.

“Jiji, what's—Holy shit!” Yunjin gasped, looking at the girl's condition, whose face was covered with her hair.

“Yah Choi Jisu, get up!” Yujin hissed, pulling the girl up. In return, she let out a loud whine.

“What's with you, huh?" Yunjin looked at the messed up closet and sighed. It looked like there was a typhoon.

“I don't know what to wear. Moreover, another thing” Jisu spoke, pulling her phone and opening up something.

It was the conversation between her and Jake.

Jisu blinked and looked at the two girls as they sighed. “He won't even say anything.” Jisu whined again, dropping her body on the bed.

Both Yunjin and Yujin went through the clothes and threw a white dress in her face, which made Jisu groan.

“Ouch!” She snorted, annoyed, as she analyzed the dress.

It was a white dress with reach until knee and had ruffles on the end with puff sleeves.

“Wear this” Both the girls stated at the same time as Jisu blinked.

“I will be over dressed” Jisu said as Yunjin groaned and had a firm grip on Jisu's shoulder.

“You look pretty in anything, Jiji. It doesn't matter what you're wearing but, whatever you wear makes you look pretty” Yunjin stated with a small smile as Yujin sat beside Jisu.

“You're pretty, no one can disagree with that. And being a bit over dressed won't hurt no one. What if Jake took you to a fancy restaurant?” Yujin asked, holding Jisu's hand, making her nod.

“Can I confess something?” Jisu spoke in a little voice as Yunjin gasped dramatically.

“Your confessions always gives us heart attacks! Even last time!” Yunjin whined, making Yujin slap her hand, playfully.

“It's not like that confession I made when I told you that I wanted to become a writer and took up literature. It's worse” Jisu sighed, making the other girls widen their eyes.

“Did you kill someone?” Yujin asked as Jisu shook her head.

“Had a one-night stand?” Yunjin asked as Jisu furrowed her eyebrows.

“Eww, no!” She protested.

“Then don't tell me you're pregnant” Yunjin stated, but got a flying pillow in her face in return.

“What the fuck is wrong with you?” Jisu hissed as Yujin sighed.

“What is it?” Yujin asked as Jisu looked down.

“I think, I've broken rule one” She spoke out, quietly as both the girls looked at her confused.

“Rule one?” Both of them asked in unison.

“I think, I've fallen for Jake” She spoke as they froze in their place.

Jisu was getting this fuzzy feeling for a long time and today, during the ride back to the dorm from the college, she realized that she may have fallen for Jake.

“You—gosh.” Yunjin muttered out, throwing the pillow at Jisu's face as she started to whine.

“Are you serious? Girl, you know you're going against the rules, right?" Yujin sighed, looking at Jisu.

“I know it's a crime to fall for him” She muttered out, sighing.

Jisu looked at herself in the mirror as a sigh left her mouth. As for Yunjin and Yujin, they were awed by Jisu's beauty.

But Jisu was determined to not stare at Jake and make in body contact or eye contact and get rid of the little feeling she had for Jake.

But they say that, determination always doesn't work.

In fact, she fell for Jake even more after seeing him in a white suite with opened buttons and his hair done neatly.

"You look... Heavenly" Jake spoke out, eyeing the girl in her completely white outfit.

She blinked a few times as Jake handed her a bouquet of white and pink roses.

Roses were common. However, Jisu loved them, especially white and pink once.

"I asked Yujin about your favorite flowers" Jake stated, making Jisu go nuts.

Her heartbeat was going crazy as she took slow and steady breaths to calm herself down.

"Thanks. You look great too. Now let's go" She stammered as Jake opened the car door for her as she got in.

The drive was silent. Nobody exchanged any words until Jisu decided to break it.

"Where are we actually going?" She asked, looking at the palm of her hand and playing with the band on her index finger.

"I told you that it's a surprise, didn't I princess?" Jake asked as Jisu shut her eyes close for a second before opening them.

"What's with your fascination with nicknames? Every so often it's butterfly, then it's princess" She asked as a small blush spread across Jake's face which went unnoticed, due to the darkness of the car.

"I just, like calling you those. No reason in specific" Jake explained as he focused back on the road.

Only if someone could tell, they were reciprocating feeling but, due to the contract, they've to hide it from each other.

"By the way, I wanted to ask you something" Jake stated, looking at Jisu as the car stopped at the red light.

"Yeah?"

"Can I, like, say Heeseung about our dating thing?" Jake asked as Jisu kind of narrowed her eyes at him.

"I know it's sudden and weird, but like, he would understand as he's the oldest. And if I wanted to speak about it to Jay or Hoon, they'll definitely make a big deal out of it" He explained it calmly but knew that his words held more profound meaning.

"Okay, I guess?" Jisu sure was dumbfounded but Jake never asked anything, in return for this relationship, except for the shooing away of girls, so, she agreed.

It was definitely Yujin and Yunjin.

Jisu looked in front of her to see the restaurant. The one she came with her parents for the first time on their wedding anniversary before they moved to America, leaving her alone. And, it was also one of the top restaurants in Seoul.

Her eye's started to sparkle up which, didn't go unnoticed by Jake. He chuckled softly as he guided her inside the main lounge and after asking, they went to the reserved table.

Jake smiled at Jisu's awestruck state. “I asked the other two about your favorite restaurant. They told me that this is your favorite restaurant, and you haven't come here for over a few years”

“Four years, actually. I came here with mom and dad before they moved to America for business” A small smile escaped her lips.

Jake called out a waiter as both gave their orders. After the arrival of the food, they ate silently together, enjoying the soft music in the background. Soon after, as they were done, Jake drove both of them to the Han river.

“It was a pretty cool date” Jisu uttered out, looking at Jake as he smiled. “But I still can't believe that you never had a girlfriend”

She teased him in the end as he chuckled. “You just gotta be a gentleman, not an ass” He stated as Jisu slightly giggled at his statement. Both of them knew that he was referring to Renjun.

Both of them stopped and admired the river, which reflected the full moon perfectly.

Jisu felt something drop around her shoulders. She turned to see Jake took off his suite jacket and draped it over her.

She smiled at his thoughtfulness but again, wasn't she supposed to get away from him and not fall for him, harder?

Just as she entered her dorm with the big bouquet of white and red roses, Choi Jisu was tackled by Huh Yunjin and Ahn Yujin.

They needed to know every single detail.

Jisu explained to them everything while taking off her heels and earrings.

“You told him about the restaurant?” Jisu asked as both the other girls nodded their head simultaneously.

“Jake called and asked me about the place you liked the most. I asked Yujin and remembered that you told me that you went to that particular restaurant once with your parents and never went there again” Yunjin explained as Jisu dropped her body on the couch as they took a seat beside her.

“I liked the atmosphere. It was calm and quiet. Even Beomgyu was there that time” She explained as Yujin nodded.

“Ah Beomgyu. I haven't seen that brat for ages” Yunjin muttered as Jisu gave her a look.

“He's my biological brother and us three years older than you” Jisu snorted as Yujin chocked out a laugh.

Jisu and Beomgyu had an unbreakable sibling bond. They never fought with each other but, Yunjin couldn't stand him. While he was in Korea, Yunjin would always bicker with him and Beomgyu would always tease her for being short-tempered. That was until Beomgyu left for the United States to attend business courses at Harvard.

“He's a smart ass with more smart mouth” Yunjin rolled her eyes.

“But Jisu, don't you think, you're blushing too hard?” Yujin pointed out as Jisu covered her face.

“Am I?” She asked and sighed.

“You know that falling for him isn't a crime, right?” Yunjin asked as Jisu shook her head.

“I can't. It'll make it weird and, he's the first guy I'm in love with”

A pause.

“What about Renjun?” Yunjin asked in disbelief, as Yujin blinked, registering whatever Jisu just said.

“I got in a relationship with Renjun because he asked me out. Momentarily, I started to like him, not close to love. I usually saw him as a frat boy who only likes to get into women's pants” She explained.

“That's the reason you never ever kissed him?” Yujin connected the dots as Jisu nodded.

“But then, why are you taking this revenge? Like making him regret and stuff?” Yunjin gave her a look as Jisu sighed.

“He still played with my feelings. I know I might sound as if I lost it completely, but, it hurt. It hurt my heart. He made multiple promise but was able to fulfil one” Jisu stated and sighed again.

“Atleast it's reasonable. He dumped you because you weren't giving what he wanted and Soojin was up to get on his pants" Yunjin snorted, looking at the bouquet.

“Jake also asked if he could tell about this too Heeseung” Jisu said as they looked at her.

“I think this shit is getting deeper” Yujin sighed.

To say the least, Lee Heeseung felt like he was stabbed by numerous swords.

“You gotta be kidding me” Heeseung hissed, slightly screaming. When he was about to launch himself at Jake, Jake pulled out a pillow as a barrier.

“It was Jisu's idea!” He squeaked as Heeseung contained his anger.

At least they were at Heeseung's private apartment, so there was no one to interrupt them.

“You know what kind of shit you're playing currently? You know how I'll react an—”

“I like Jisu” Jake cut him off as Heeseung's blank stare returned. “Maybe love?”

“Mate, you've never been in love” Jake snorted up on Heeseung's words.

“Mate is my words and I love my mom, Layla" He defended himself, earning a scoff from Heeseung.

“The dog?”

“She's my daughter!” Jake screamed, throwing the pillow at Heeseung's face as a growl emerged from his mouth.

“You're acting like a lovesick teenager, asshole! If you have the dick, ask Jisu out, bastard” Heeseung couldn't control anymore as he threw a few cusses at the other.

“I can't” He dropped his head on the palm of his hands. “She still loves Renjun"

“She never loved him” Heeseung stated. “Truth to be told, as I'm Beomgyu, her brother's best friend, she and I share a close bond. She told me the whole situation with her and Renjun. He asked her out, she accepted. No feeling attached. He dumped her and made a fool out of her, she wants to make a fool out of him. Simple”

“Wait, no like—”

“Kid. You're all over her. Like, I never saw how you look at her or how you call her all those nicknames. At least you're not too dumb to understand your feelings” Heeseung gave a smile as Jake snorted.

“I'm not dumb” He defended as a low chuckled emitted from Heeseung.

“Sure. But get your ass out of here. And right, you said that Yunjin and Yujin know about this?” He asked as Jake nodded.

“One of them suggested it to Jisu as a joke but Jisu took it by heart” Jake stated as Heeseung let out a loud chuckle.

“She was impulsive from the time I met her. Taking rash decision and later, Beomgyu had to clean up after her. It was fun at that time” Heeseung sighed.

“But tell me, what I should do?" Jake whined as Heeseung gave him a look.

“Get your ass out of my house”

In the morning, Yujin, Yunjin and Jisu were getting ready for their classes. They were still at their dorm as Yujin excused herself as she got a call.

“You're going with us, right?” Yunjin asked as Jisu nodded. Today, Jake had early morning classes, whereas, the girls had afternoon classes.

Soon, Yujin came out of the room, cold sweat dripping down her forehead. “Hey Ji, why don't you go and sit in my car? I'll bring out Yunjin in a while” Yujin said, handing Jisu her car keys.

“Okay?” Jisu appeared dumbfounded as she walked out.

“Why do you look like that?” Yunjin narrowed her eyes at Yujin as she cleared her throat.

“Heeseung wants to talk about, Jake and Jisu" Yujin stated, making Yunjin drop her phone on the carpet.

“Bull! Jake definitely blew it out” Yunjin whined, picking her phone up.

You didn’t know what transpired before the incident. You’ve been so focused on the performance that you didn’t notice how near you were at the end of the stage, and worst of all, you were at the back so it’s not like your members would notice immediately.

The moment you crashed to the ground was when the staff rushed after you. The pain that came from crashing from your side made you cry in pain. You were being escorted off the ground, being careful not to put pressure to the pain. You gripped your arm, gritting your teeth as the sharp feeling of knives ran through the arm.

But it wasn’t the pain that caused your eyes to tear up, but the guilt that’s creeping up inside you. One of the worst feelings that an idol could feel is being responsible for a performance being disrupted, and you hated that feeling. You felt bad to your members who continued to perform as you were whisked away to the back, to be tended by the medics.

At the backstage, your legs wouldn’t stop fidgeting, and your hands started to sweat. You await anxiously for your members, and preparing yourself to be scolded by one of the managers for what happened.

ミ★  Mark. Unaware of the incident, Mark was confused when you were missing from the stage. He tried asking the members discreetly about your whereabouts, but it wasn’t until Chenle approached him, terrified. He was about to ask the younger what was wrong until he told him what happened to you. Mark wanted to run backstage to see you, but he knows he has to stay and thank the fans first, even with his legs feeling like jelly after hearing the incident. As a leader, he needs to make sure that no member is unsafe, and it’s agonizing for him that he couldn’t do anything to prevent it from happening. Backstage, Mark finds you huddled at a chair, a cast wrapped on your arm. He doesn’t know if he’s going to crowd you any further, since both Jaemin and Renjun already rushed to you faster than anything. He stayed next to you, though, making sure to comfort you when you felt as if you ruined everything. “No, (Y/N), I’m just glad that you’re safe now.” Mark would reassure you that you didn’t ruin everything and tells you that what’s important is your well-being. And maybe, talk to the managers and staff to make sure this never happens again.

ミ★ Renjun. He didn’t hesitate to be the first one to fuss over you. Renjun is most sensitive when it comes to your feelings, and he would almost cry seeing the cast around your arm. He made it easier for you to open up to him about how angry and stupid you feel, the guilt that you were feeling when you let them down, and how scared you were at the thought of disappointing your fans for your mistake. He would listen to you, but he isn’t going to let you feel that way. Renjun was relieved that you were able to open up to him about your feelings, but it still pains him that he couldn’t do anything to easen your mind about what happened. It would mark a horrible experience in your life. But with the immense support you have with your members, you would find yourself to be okay in the future. Renjun would make sure of it. Side note: Haechan would make a comment about how Renjun is your local therapist, but he wouldn’t say that with the latter in the room with him.

ミ★ Jeno.  Panic and immense worry is the only thing in his mind when Chenle broke the news about your well-being. Jeno couldn't imagine how you devasted you would be, and he hopes that the injury isn't threatening enough to cost you your career. When he asked you about your condition, you told him that your broke your arm from the fall, but the medics told you that it's not bad enough that'll put you into a long hiatus. He felt himself ease in relief, but is still worried about you. “You should rest, let us handle the rest.” Jeno thinks that you are going to have to rely on them, and that’s okay. He’s not going to let any of his team suffer, whether it is mentally or physically. You would need a lot of convincing though, but eventually you will have to, since you have every members’ support for your recovery no matter what.

ミ★ Haechan. Getting injured is one of the worst feelings an idol could ever imagine. Haechan knows that pretty well, since he's seen his hyungs who had to go on a hiatus because of their health. He cares about your health, but he also doesn't want you to go to a hiatus for an indefinite period of time. You expressed to him before that you hated it if you're going to miss out on any activities Dream has, so you've made sure to keep yourself healthy at all times. So to see you feel so frustrated, angry at your mistake, he felt the need to cheer you up. "It's okay, (Y/N), you're going to be up in no time. You're damn strong to let anything injure you badly." whether you think he was joking or not doesn't matter, because he knows it to himself that he's right, and even slightly, you're able to crack a smile after that.

ミ★ Jaemin. He was the one that didn’t hesitate to run backstage as fast as he could to find you. Just like Renjun, he would fuss over you the moment he sees you. He would almost scold you, but after seeing your dejected expresion, he held his tongue. It was not the best time to make your mood any worst when you’re already beating yourself up for injuring yourself. He would become your helper if you needed something, since your other arm is out of commission for a while. Out of all the members, he can truly relate because of his injury at the past, so he understands how you would be worried about what’s going to come next. But he doesn’t mind taking care of you, if it meant for you speedy recovery and having you back in performances again.

ミ★ Chenle.  He was next to you at the back when you fell. Chenle could’ve sworn that you were just next to him, until you were not. He saw your misstep that leads you into falling, which caused him to stop dancing, not knowing what to do. Should he go to you or should he continue performing to remain professional? It wasn’t until he sees Jisung looking at him with confusion that he had to remain professional despite what he witnessed. He has a frazzled expression during the performance, praying for it to be over. When the performance finished, he was the one that told the group what happened. The moment the group returned backstage and reunited with your injured form, he kept his distance from you to not crowd you. Although, another reason is that he was guilty that he couldn’t do anything to help you especially since he saw the incident in the first place. You and his hyungs reassured him for being professional despite being terrified for you. "It was my stupidness that led me to this," you would sheepishly say, but Chenle is going to argue with you if that comes out of your mouth. But at least the both of you are able to be at ease since he knows that you are now okay.

ミ★ Jisung. He was confused when you were missing at the performance and how frazzled Chenle is, who is looking back and forth at the back of the stage and the audience. He would go to his best friend, only for him to shut down any kind of thought when he was told about your unfortunate incident and your unknown condition as of the moment. He could only feel his arm being pulled backstage. Jisung was brought back to the time when he injured his knee and how he couldn’t participate in shows and performances, and he doesn’t want to imagine you being missing, too. While he wouldn’t fuss over you as much as Renjun and Jaemin will, he would keep out a look out for you, although subtlely. He doesn’t want you to tease him when he takes care of you.

"holy." mark started off with mumbles, his head turning from you to his phone so fast he might get whiplash. "she- she's in love with me.." the farther he gets through his sentence, the louder he becomes, catching not only peoples attention, but also yours. "she's freaking in love with me!"

your furrowed eyebrows is the first thing he sees, running across the pool and straight to you, barreling into you and accidentally sending the both of you into the water. you're both spluttering when you break through the water's surface, your face an expression of disbelief while his is of pure joy.

he doesn't regret pulling you down with him, sealing your lips in an underwater kiss that tastes of watermelon and grape ice cream.

the soft glow of your phone disturbs renjun. the only source of light in the otherwise dark theater room, playing the movie you begged him to watch with you. he's rolling his eyes in annoyance, still gripping the half finished popcorn, hands coming back and forth from his mouth towards the salty snack.

soon after, the soft tapping of your fingers against the screen takes his interest off the movie. renjun's eyes sneak a peak, slightly leaning his body against his head rest so he could take a better look at what has your full interest.

the clearing of his throat startles you, making you instinctively hide your phone in the corner of your seat. your eyes zoom in on his reddening face, leaning in closer to make sure, amidst all the darkness. "renjun? what's wrong?" pressing the palm of your hand to his burning forehead. "do you have a fever? junnie, you should've told me."

renjun's still stubbornly looking at the screen, taking a deep breath and doing a countdown before he takes your hand in his, intertwining the two as your eyebrows furrow.

he starts leaning in, coming closer and closer to your face that it makes you lean back in your seat, trying to look away from his face. "i think this isn't a good date," he whispers, "how about we go on an official one tomorrow?"

the wide cinema screen is the audience to the scene renjun puts on, leaving a peck at the edge of your lips as shy smile spreads on his.

he doesn't give you much time to talk (or to start hitting him for being stupid) when he puts his hands on your cheeks and pulls you into a kiss, the atmosphere reminding him of two lovers running through the rain to see each other in movies.

the cold and fever he gets the next day is worth it, especially with your cuddles and chicken soup to get him through the day.

"if I had to choose between DNA and RNA, i’d choose RNA because it has u in it.” his sudden voice startles you, making you yelp and raise your head to look at him in bewilderment. "we fit together like the sticky ends of recombinant DNA.”

"excuse me, na jaemin." throwing a raised eyebrow at him along with a sarcastic chuckle. "but i don't understand smart talk."

"you must be a red blood cell because you take the oxygen away from my lungs straight to my heart.” the coy smile he sends you doesn't solve anything, and it takes you moments until you finally start to catch on to his quips.

"DNA spelled backward is AND, as in… me AND you"

jaemin's blinking, breaking into a laugh that shakes the table just enough to spill some of his coffee onto his notes. an excited grin breaks out on your face, butterflies flying in your tummy as his eyes glaze over with a sudden emotion.

5 minutes to his last buzzer and chenle's looking for you in the bleachers. his eyes are searching through the crowds of people, trying to find you in his signature red and white jersey, only to pout and huff when all he sees is unknown people waving at him, perking up seconds later when his phone vibrates.

it's only in the last seconds when he scores the winning goal for his team does he celebrate, running away from the sports ground and leaving his confused team behind as he purposely looks for you. it's when you crash into his arms does he lift you into them, pressing a disorienting kiss onto your lips, with his teams roaring cheers as the background.

"i'm your chenle, i'm your ace!" it takes a minute for you to process his words, clicking two and two together before your jaw goes slack and an embarrased groan escapes from your lips. chenle grins when you bury your face in his chest, shaking you in his arms with all his added excitement. "can i have another kiss?" he peeps down to take a look at you, sending a bashful smile.

"park jisung this isn't funny!" you're sprinting down the stairs, a fair distance away from jisung who's already reached your kitchen, running for his life with your phone in his hand. "give me my phone back! jisung, i swear to god!"

the big laugh that erupts from jisung only gets to you even more, trying to run even faster after your neighbor whom you have had a crush for since childhood. all the while jisung is having the time of his life, running to your living room and cramping his lanky body into the first place he thinks of hiding, wedged between two sofas.

jisung's putting in your password, his birthday, and he's opening the message you've just received from renjun, reading your most recent chat with the chinese boy.

“I’m so glad you’re back.” Jaemin smiled at you as you walked back to your dorm after dinner. 

“I wasn’t gone that long.” You teased as he laughed. 

“Look, I’m sorry about being awkward, it’s just that things are really confusing right now and I don’t really know how to react to all of it, you know with the witch stuff and Renjun going missing and everything.” You said, seriously as you sat down on your bed.

“Hey, no need to apologize.” Jaemin said as he sat down next to you. “I’m just so glad you’re okay. I was so worried.” He said as he leaned closer to you and playing his hand on your thigh. 

“Let me show you how glad I am you’re back.” He plead as you leaned forward to kiss him. His hand immediately went to your cheek as the other stayed on your thigh. You removed the hand from your thigh and slowly made your way onto his lap. 

“You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting to kiss you like this.” he said as you smiled before attacking his lips again. 

“Let me lead, for tonight at least.” he moaned into the kiss and you pulled away and looked into his eyes before nodding. 

He smiled and told you to lay down. Before you could even process anything, he was on top of you, kissing you again as your hands made their way to his hair. 

Just as he was about to take his shirt off, Jisoo walked in and immediately covered her eyes as she saw what was going on. 

“Oh my god, I’m so sorry! I was planning on staying at Hana’s anyway, I just came for my-” “Jisoo, we’re both dressed, it’s okay.” jaemin reassured as she sighed and quickly took her toiletry bag and left after yelling “have fun!” and winking.

“Did that ruin the mood?” You asked, holding back your laugh. 

“Kinda.” he laughed and gave you a quick kiss before saying “Now, where were we?”, causing you to smile and pull him down again to kiss him.

Meanwhile

You straddled him with a smirk on his face and started kissing him again. You ran your fingers through his hair as his hands trailed your body before resting on your ass, making you giggle into the kiss, which made him smirk before you pullled away, both of you breathless.

“What about Jaemin?” You asked. Haechan didn’t mean to keep replaying the memory of his dreams over and over, but he couldn’t stop. 

If only he found a spell, which didn’t include dark magic. It was like wherever he looked, dark magic followed, like it was stalking him.

Meanwhile

“Jisung, I’m fine.” Jeno sighed “Hyung?” The younger one asked. 

“Yes?” Jeno asked back, as he hit the punching bag again, making it explode.

 “I told you. I have been a wolf longer than you, you know?” Jisung explained and pointed at the now destroyed bag. 

“Whatever. Look, I’m fine. If she wants to be with Jaemin and if he makes her happy, then I have no business in any of that.” Jeno answered. 

“Now, if you excuse me, I have to go scream into the void, as this bag is now dead.” Jeno fake smiled before leaving the gym. 

“I know he’s losing it, but he’s insane if he thinks I’ll be the one cleaning that up.” Jisung said to himself, looking at the bag.

Time jump

“Hey, Ren?” You asked “Yeah?” Renjun asked, sitting alone at the table in the library. 

“Can, can you help me find out who the man is?” You asked, sitting down next to him. You looked at him with hope in your eyes. 

He tried to avoid eye-contact. You were with Jaemin and he knew he shouldn’t think of you like that, especially not now, but it was so hard. 

You spent so much time together, not as much as before, because of Jaemin, but now, when you spent time together, he would always try his best not to think of you in that way. To think of you like a friend.

“Anything for you, y/n.” He smiled as your face light up “Thank you!” You said, kissing his cheek before taking out your notebook. 

He tried not to think much of it, he was searching the identity of the man already and he was searching about the prophesy as well and why you fit into his plan. Humanity is key, but you were a witch. 

Maybe it was about the humanity switch, but only vampires had that. Besides, if you did turn into one, you would lose your witch abilities, so the thought of you being “the one with the power of three”, which he deciphered was a tribrid, wasn’t possible. 

You weren’t a werewolf either so you couldn’t be the one. Maybe you were the savior? But were the savior and the one the same person? Was the one in the first part the same as in the last? He didn’t know.

“What’s that?” You asked as you noticed the text. ““The one with the power of three, humanity is key to stop the killing spree, listen to the swan or all will be gone, the savior will be the one.” You read out loud before looking at Renjun. 

“It’s....” Renjun had to decide. Tell you about the prophesy and possibly put you in more danger or lie and protect you. 

As Hana and Jisoo cuddled on one of the chairs, Minsoo and Jaemin looked out the window of the tree house and argued over which one has the best skin. 

“Feel it, baby skin.” Minsoo said stretching his own face, “No, you feel this, this is baby skin.” Jaemin protested and did the same. Both of them sighed and pinched the other’s cheeks as Hana and Jisoo laughed. 

They turned around to them as Jaemin asked “What?” 

“Oh, y/n would be so jealous if she saw you right now.” Hana laughed.

“i think i need something sweet, my head kinda hurts and i’m getting dizzy.” yanna mumbled, walking towards where renjun was inside the practice room before holding unto the mirrored wall and leaning on her arm a bit.

to make the long story short, yanna’s started to prepare for something big coming up. and as part of the preparation, sm has instructed her to go on a diet to tone her arms and thighs aside from the neverending practices. the girl, not wanting to mess it up, has been very obedient about it. ignoring how it’s worrying the people around her, specially her boyfriend.

“maybe you need rest and actual food, not something sweet.” the boy mumbled right back, making yanna look at him a little bit before pushing herself off the wall.

“i’m fine! look, i can even jump high.” she said smugly, jumping up and down a bunch of times before turning her back on him to grab his phone and ask their manager to bring her some candy.

“great, he said he’ll bring it in a few.” the girl happily mumbled, giving renjun her phone before walking towards the center again to rehearse. after a few minutes of going over the steps, she pulled renjun with her to help her with the other parts of the choreography involving a partner. as yanna spinned around one time, renjun definitely felt how she held on to him tighter for a second and closed her eyes.

“stop straining yourself.” he said in a hard and serious tone, making the girl stop dancing before nodding a bit. she inhaled a couple of times, looking around as she felt a bit restless.

“here’s your candy, kid.” one of their managers said, arriving and making his way towards yanna who was now leaning her back against the wall once again.

“why aren’t you practicing? do you really wanna embarrass yourself in front of the heads?” their manager said a bit harshly, making renjun’s blood boil a bit. he understood, he really did. but also, he can only understand so much when it involves risking yanna’s health. he has spoken up so much about it and yet no one listened to him considering yanna’s still able to rehearse everyday while also almost eating nothing at the dorms.

“stop pressuring her, she’s been practicing all day.” he reasoned out for the girl, noticing how she looked a bit spaced out. he slowly walked over to the girl, alarmed.

“you’re aware they can cancel this anytime, right? do you really want all of this to go to waste just because your girlfriend’s being-“ he immediately stopped, noticing yanna falling and renjun running up quickly to catch her. their eyes widened at the sight of yanna in the boy’s arms.

“I TOLD YOU NOT TO PRESSURE HER.” he raised his voice, enough to pour out his frustration at the whole situation.

as the girl woke up inside the van, on the way to the hospital, she was utterly confused. even more so, seeing renjun’s face in a frown.

“sure, drive slower and deprive her of iv shots too.” he mumbled a bit loud, enough for their manager to hear. yanna could only reach out her hand a bit to his face but was stopped by the boy who grabbed it and moved it away.

“why am i getting iv shots?” she asked, still confused.

“because you fucking fainted.” he replied in an angry tone, making yanna widen her eyes.

“you’re mad at me because i fainted?” she carefully asked, making renjun look at her but still with a frown on his face.

“i’m mad at you, because you don’t listen to me. you could’ve hurt your head because of that stupid diet forcing you to eat less and less and those non-stop practicing you’ve been doing. what do you think you getting hurt would’ve done to me?” he said in all seriousness, making the girl look down. renjun sighed, feeling a bit bad about scolding the girl when she was probably already stressed out.

“i’m sorry, just... listen to me about this. i’m just trying to take care of you.” he mumbled a bit, kissing yanna’s forehead as she nodded.

“she’s not gonna listen to you because she has to get back as soon as we leave the hospital.” the manager said, making yanna close her eyes instead. already feeling lightheaded hearing she still has to practice.

“no, i won’t let her.” renjun bravely said, annoyed once again.

“that’s not a choice for you to make.” the manager replied, making the boy scoff.

“i don’t care, she’s not stepping foot in that room again today nor tomorrow.” he insisted, making yanna a bit alarmed yet unsure if she should talk. she could only close her eyes once again, still feeling a bit weak (like my writing smh this sucked).

bonus fluff:

renjun carried yanna, bridal style, to make sure she wouldn’t tire herself out walking.

“stop enjoying this so much. you could be overfatigued, you know.” the boy mumbled, making yanna smiled a bit before hiding it.

“i’m not enjoying this, who said i was?” she said while also clinging to the boy’s neck further.

“you really don’t understand emergency rooms.” the boy mumbled as yanna could only snort tiredly.

“can’t really focus, your hand’s sort of on my bu—“

“yanna!” he scolded the girl, making her smile before the boy placed her on one of the hospital beds inside the emergency room.

okay so i just liked the kind of air to love alarm? idk it just made me feel like i was somewhere else bc i felt the production quality was that high. some of it was questionable i do agree w that but also song kang is total heart-eyes 😍 and meteor garden was sweet for like a minute each episode and the rest was me groaning in agony just wishing dong shancai would snipe daoming si’s mother. shancai did so much too?? like four episodes in she won a cooking competition against a girl who had literally been professionally training to impress one of the boys ✋ but shancai literally came from almost nothing. also — i’ve never been more frustrated w a drama than meteor garden like sis was literally dirt poor, came close to being evicted twice and her parents moved back to their fisherman hometown leaving her in shanghai (i think?) to make money bc they couldn’t afford the city but she had the newest phone 🛑✋
