the real reason(s) I've been avoiding the wlw ships in the marauders fandom is bc 1. Reminds me a BIT TOO MUCH of what I want my relationship to be w the person I like and 2. I'm not mentally stable at all rn and a lot of the mlm ships are my comfort ships bc I rlly just need a hug and to cry

I might have a vague power of three/omen of the stars au brewing in my brain because I am way to far behind in the series to actively try and catch up so here are my basic ideas.

Three is Four from the start because God that plot point was stupid and I hate it and it added needless drama when we all knew it was Firestar because it's always Firestar. The four are Jayfeather, Lionblaze, Hollyleaf and Breezepelt because drama but wait there's more.

Squirrel x Crow who have Holly and Breeze. Ashfur is just a dude not an asshole, he dated Squilf for a week but could see she was unhappy because she was in love with someone else and let's her go. Now Brambleclaw is the asshole because I don't like him.

Hawk x Leaf but it wasn't a serious thing looking back on it, more like a summertime fling that resulted in children being Jay and Lion. Hawkfrost is just a little ambitious, has a good relationship with Mothwing, fully supports his ex and sister being in love and tells awful puns.

Holly and Breeze are raised in Thunderclan, Crowfeather lives there with them and Brackenfur is deputy instead of Brambleclaw because as much as Firestar doesn't want to admit it, Bramble is an asshole and Sandstorm yells at him whenever he is remotely rude to Squirrelflight. Holly is mentored by Ashfur who becomes like a fun uncle and Breeze is mentored by Brightheart because fuck you Firestar you promised her an apprentice.

Holly becomes Hollyfur in honour of her mentor because Ashfur is just a cool dude and her power is being able to sense when cats are lying and occasionally, forcing the truth out of them. Her early arch is learning when to call out lying and when to let it slide.

Breeze becomes Breezeflight after his mother and gets Dovewing's power because it's there, might as well use it.

Lion and Jay are raised in Riverclan because they deserve POV chapters and it's the clans best kept secret that they're Leafpool's kits but after that whole Tigerclan incident they all collectively agree to keep quiet about it and Hawk becomes a den dad in the nursery and even after his kits are grown he stops by to help the queens when he can.

Lion is terrified of his power especially because he has nightmares about being like Tigerstar and begs Mothwing to let him be her apprentice, she agrees. Lion's power is still the same but he figures out he can use it more defensively than offensively, if there's a battle he's there acting as a shield while he heals. He's named Lionflower because pretty name.

Jay is a lot happier, he's not forced into being a medicine cat and it's only really the queens and younger cats who worry over him. He gets to be a warrior and is mentored by Reedwhisker (Pouncepaw is mentored by Blackclaw instead) his power is the same as in the books and he occasionally helps his brother out with starclan symbols and prophecies, he gets to have secret meeting with his brother as well and is named Jaystep.

Certain Starclan cats (the loudest being Goosefeather) tell the more involved spirits to back the fuck up and let them be kits. But no one trusts Bluestar, Yellowfang and Spottedleaf to behave so they all get a Starclan assigned bodyguard/spiritual mentor

Hollyclaw gets Whitestorm

Jaystep gets Crookedstar

EDIT: I have unintentionally implied that both of Bluestar's "romantic partners" and her nephew are away that she will not stay away from the Four and I love it.

Also Crookedstar yells at any Starclan cat who says Jaystep belongs as a medicine cat (cough cough Spottedleaf and Yellowfang)

Who is Tigerclaw's kits?

Moon Tigerchaser's kits with Goldenflower are Moon Swiftfoot, Lionflower, and Sun Tawnybite. His litter with Sasha, when she was still considered a captive to the Cold Creekbay Sect during the Tiger's Hold period of the sect, consisted of Mothwing and Hawkfrost.

All of his kittens will deal with a lot of power imbalances, legacy, and discrimination. This struggle will eventually lead to Hawkfrost's meddling outside of his own sect in order to try and escape from his struggles, and why he also allowed himself to be taken by Sol.

lion is a religious prefix in hf reserved for ladies only, so i decided to swap lionheart and goldenflower around to make them goldenheart and lionflower. but then, woops!!! lionflower is two religious names together that are for the same deity. so i changed that to lionblossom!

imma rant abt my beloved Pete for a minute here cuz he had to deal with almost everyone of his friends falling in love w someone and being total idiots. And he never cared abt that stuff (I hc him aroace) but yk, he's a rat /aff. So even if his friends didn't tell them who they liked he would ALWAYS find out. Hell, half the time he knew that two ppl liked each other b4 they even knew.

So when remus' jumper lifted when he stretched and sirius' eyes lingered a bit too long look at remus' waist, or when regulus admitted to spelling eucalyptus in the amortentia and peter remembered that James uses eucalyptus shampoo,or when lily took Mary's hand when they were walking together and Mary's eyes widened as she stared at their interlocked fingers, or when evan rambled on about barty and Peter had just had to hear barty rambling about evan, or when marlene's cheeks flushed when dorcas sat next to her with their shoulders touching, well it made Peter want to rip out his hair.

Peter was the only one who noticed. The rest of them were so caught up in loving another that they didn't seem to realize that the person they we're fawning over was in love with them as well.

Declaration

Genocide did many things to pass the time in his long life, and among them was something he almost enjoyed as much as the hunt, which was gardening. He grew lilies to remember his mother who shared the same name and a unique 'somewhat' hazardous flower called Lionflower he'd found in Hell for his father, Leo. If the hunt was to excite him then this was to calm him, as he felt only peace remembering his parents as he tended to the plants.

"So, they've made their choice already?"

The Soul brushed off dirt from his knees as he stood up, turning to face a bowing well-dressed Demon who had appeared during his peaceful time, something usually he'd kill them for. Demonic visitors weren't rare, but were banned if uninvited same with the Divine, and after his little stunt below he could already guess what was coming.

"Yes, sir Genocide, I've been sent here today as a messenger from the royal family. Your actions have caused a bit of a stir in Hell amongst those who hold power and while it won't be released to the public, you have now been branded an enemy of Hell. All restrictions placed on Demons that involved you have been lifted along with many bounties asking for your head. There was talk of sending an army toward your doorstep, but miss Avarice stopped it immediately as she believed it would just be fodder into a blender."

Killing armies was his specialty, Avarice was smart to stop them even if she did it purely to not waste the lives of other Demons. He doubted to a degree she did it to help him, the sin of Greed candidate still hated him for the death of her husband.

"If that's all then be on your way."

Genocide turned back to his garden, once again getting on his knees and starting to pull a few weeds as the Demon stood there, confused beyond belief.

"I had been informed that no messenger of Hell with bad news has ever returned alive from a visit to your territory."

i do definitely think his name would be different — what do we like? lionflower is one i’ve seen, not sure how much i like it. lionheart is great, but is unfortunately taken by a first arc heartthrob (to frostfur, if i’m remembering right lmao). i’d really appreciate suggestions!!!
