I feel like "Your name is Charles???" overshadows everything else in this ep and we don't talk enough about how Link gets so upset at the thought of his friends being upset that he ends up needing to be consoled, and also that the way to console him is to rub up and down his arms.

I saw someone say he wouldn't make a good dom because he has too much of a temper, and could not safely control the situation or care for his sub, but I think (a) that person underestimates his acting skills because his outbursts on the show generally seem to be for show, and (b) you really think Link "Control Freak (Emphasis on the Freak)" Neal* himself would not 100% know how to stay in control of a situation?

Like would it be his preference? Possibly not, given what he's said about how he "likes to be handled" (EB#377), and his well-established enjoyment of nipple twisting and firm spanks.

But like, I challenge you to consider how much attention he pays to others (he remembers minute details about the cast/crew, he is usually the one to hand out spoons and napkins to people, he is always checking the monitor to make sure everything is visible to the audience, GMMore#2380 that thing he did with the spoon while feeding Jordan); how gently but firmly he can instruct someone (GMM#2660 "Look at it, not me," GMM#2622 his encouraging but forceful demeanor in directing his frogs across traffic, and 'Behind the Wonderhole’ - "Into the Trees" when he’s giving direction to the musical cast); his desire for enthusiastic consent (GMMore#2418 "This is something we both want?"); and most importantly his ability to playfully insult you into desperately seeking his affection (GMMore#2619 the entire fucking thing)** and then tell me this man does not know how to dom. I would trust him to cat o' nine tails my titties any day.***
