dug around and my post-platinum arc speculation is mostly in the tags so it's not worth resurfacing that post but i do want to reiterate!!!!!
it's still my headcanon that moon is older than platinum and that dp/pt arcs took place between sumo and usum arcs (and all after xy and oras). mostly because i never liked the timeline where sun and moon were 10+ years younger than the sinnoh trio. but also because it's fun to think about!!!
dp/pt takes place over roughly three months and sun/moon were trapped in ultra space for six months. the theory isn't perfect (coughrotomcough) but things do line up for plat to still be considered an only child when she leaves home. and older sister moon is :) very fun to think on. all the implications there.
