Felt inspired by @chris-but-alt ‘s design of Bagley

So I thought why not do my own take because I was bored and also in the midst of developing a Bagley fixation:

Design notes AKA a transcript of my handwriting:

(Top to bottom)

- speaking is shown through the soundwaves surrounding his holographic head; the emotion felt/being communicated shown through the colour of them (e.g angry is red, blue is essentially neutral)

- Silk white gloves are used for the hands

- body consists of wires and metal; metal=bones, wires=skin/muscles

- Gave him a trench coat to suit the ‘detective’ role he plays in the campaign

(E.g “in the last adventure of Detective Bagley and his sometimes useful human sidekicks..”)

And that’s about it really

one thing that continually astounds me i feel like many many people who arent engineers or engineering majors or whatever genuinely do not get that engineering Well has a lot of math. Like a pretty notable amount of mathematics. which sounds pretty intuitive when you think about it for like a second but many out there do not

#like ok bc on twitter earlier somebody posted a speedpaint of like a fisheye lens perspective drawing pretty epic pretty cool #and in the speedpaint they drew like a sphere and lines at angles for like perspective reference #and someone qrted it and went on this whole spiel about the false dichotomy btwn engineers and artists #and how many engineers would make good artists and artists make good engineers #and to be clear i definitely agree there is a false dichotomy there #But also. well im gonna be honest engineering problem solving requires you to be able to solve the problem #which at the very least includes. A lot of math. Which from my experience #most artists arent particularly inclined towards .#anyways this tweet had like a billion likes and like kind of annoyed me because i know what theyre getting at but also its not true #😭.#^also yes im deeply and profoundly aware there are many people out there #who are both artistically and engineeringly inclined. Myself included #that being said well the venn diagram overlap is not as big as apparently some would like to believe

The results of the girlbirdthing percentage poll are in! Thank you everyone who voted.

Wow! 105 votes, so many... that's too many..

Here's the ternary phase diagram as promised!

The results are a little surprising to me. I thought bird would be the highest percentage but thing clears it by almost 10%! I expected around that much girl though.
