She has never minded listening to whatever needed to be unloaded, while she had made it clear that none of her training was psychiatric or in psychology; the nurse knew heroes needed some place to share and while she was patching them up if they started to talk than she would listen, engage as she could and show them the ounces of care that they needed. Offer them to referral them if they needed one to go to a specialist.

THIS? It wasn't necessarily that, since Peter Parker had came in with his daughter for a quick check up which sweet Mayday was okay; he was just being a nervous father and Linda wasn't going to throw him out for brining in his lunch either.

She feels out of breath just listening to how he talked about a mile a minute, without any breathes or pauses in most of it. Actually she feel quite winded trying to follow along with the entirety of the story, to which she isn't sure that she knew what had prompted it exactly, but here she was listening to him explain how he had quit his job.

❝ That's ⸺ WOW ! ❞ Really, she was feeling like she had been taken on a roller coaster on Coney Island with that, and she's smiling as she brushes a loose strand of hair on Mayday's head and lift her up, prop her on her hip.

❝ Mayday's okay, by the way. She's just having seasonal allergies like most of us. It sucks for her, I know, but given her age and size, you really shouldn't give her anything yet. If it seems really bad, than you could take her to her pediatrician, or I'll call around for some PEDS' advice about allergies for babies. ❞ Basically, Peter is just going to have a cranky daughter some of the days because seasonal allergies are getting to her.

❝ They'll go away on their own and she may grow out of them. Just keep her indoors on bad air quality days, keep the windows closed, maybe dust your place a little more often? Or check some things that might be tracking allergens in? ❞

"Okay, so was back when I was in my EARLY twenties right?" Peter took a moment to take one last sip of his drink before continuing his story. " I was still working at the Daily Bugle as a photographer. Well I was running late and I had to SPRINT to catch the Q train."

"I barely manage to catch it right? And it's still early enough that it isn't too crowded, so when I see a whole bench empty, I didn't have any reason to be suspicious. (I'll remind you, these are like dark blue bench it's very easy to not see when they are wet!) So I did what any REASONABLE person would do, I walked over and I sat down." He took a bit of a pause, shoving a fry in his mouth before swallowing.

"So I sat down right? Immediately feel my pants wet and then smell the INTENSE and UNDENIABLE sense of urine. I sprung up so damn fast and just in such an OUTRAGE and just shouted at the rest of the other passengers. ' YOU ALL WATCHED ME GO TO SIT DOWN AND SAID NOTHING?!' " Peter shouted the last bit with his entire chest, really getting into the story he was recounting. (It still outraged him to this day, because if he had been SPIDER-MAN and not Peter, they would have warned him! It's BULLSHIT!)

"So of course I had to RUN OFF the train at the next stop because I had to go home and change my pants. There was no way I was going to work SMELLING LIKE SUBWAY PISS!" Peter's hands were flying around, emphasizing every word he said.

"So of course, I have to call my boss. And Jameson of course was just like 'NO ONE CARES PARKER. GET TO WORK NOW! SPIDER-MAN WOULD STILL KEEP BEING A MENACE EVEN IF HE HAD PEE PANTS SO SHOULD YOU!' Which is just INSULTING because NO SPIDER-MAN WOULD NOT! I should know! but of course I can't tell him that.." Peter finally paused for another long sip of his soda.

"So yeah.. that's the story of how I quit my job at the Daily Bugle."

AFFILIATE VERSE / Into the Mel-verse if you are feeling groovy

set in a heavily canon divergent 616 timeline w/ spiderverse movies worked in / some of this like the leonard stuff is canon across all verses @thefleetsfinest / @crisispider / @hopeburns

anyways, here's a bunch of headcanons and notes that i have for what i have developed with MEL MY BELOVED BESTIE; and if it's chill, i will probably default to this verse being my main / primary. so if you're groovy, i'd like to write in this verse.

💜💙 freefall happens a little differently, in that linda and clint never dated, but they are friends mostly because linda is dating @thefleetsfinest and leonard adopted a stray alcoholic (clint) that is how that is going

💜💙 linda and clint still attend the gala together, or more linda runs into clint at the f.e.a.s.t. charity thing (leonard is probably in attendance too / linda still calls tony small dick energy and then kisses her doctor boyfriend) and both are squinty eyes at him the entire time

💜💙 Clint is actually injured going to Linda's clinic when Spiderman and Captain America confront him, and Linda still goes to defend him; partly because she will not have that happening right outside of her clinic. it definitely one of the leading causes where she wants some space from clint

💜💙 Clint still brings Bryce to Linda's apartment, and Bryce dies, and that's why Clint gets banned from her apartment. Linda calls Leonard to help with clean up, and Leonard helps Clint in the direct aftermath

💜 He goes to Leonard all injured after The Hood, and than he decides to go sober with the help of Leonard

💜💙 clint is still currently banned from linda's apartment, but she has mostly forgiven him for covering his ass and the whole dying kid in her house; it's fine he is leonard's friend, she can forgive him over time

💜 leonard mccoy is clint's aa sponsor, across all open verses, when post freefall happens; clint's living on leonard's couch as he gets sober and starts to put his life back together, there may have been some snuggling involved, because when you are sad and pitiful, sometimes being held is nice and lenny is a good friend.

💙 Clint and Leonard tend to go to aa meetings in Brooklyn, but if ever needed they have popped into the usual place that Tony and Carol end up. The first time that happened was so awkward for Clint.

💜 The first four people, on Clint's long list of amends and apologies, is to Kate, Bucky, Natasha, and Peter Parker.

💜 Now let's get on to talking Peter Parker ( @crisispider ). After apologizing to Peter, the two had always been friends over the years, but they become closer friend again. Clint is surprisingly there as Peter is going through the details of a divorce, or co-parenting, and being a single dad.

💜 Clint is roughly one year sober, and only doing small investigative, vigilante/hero work, not always directly in NYC (legal troubles), and that is when Luke has become Mayor (tbh i do not know the timeline between 2020 to 2022/23 comics well) when he gets the offer about the Thunderbolts, he is not at all sure about it and still has major issues with this

💜 Clint and Peter have been becoming closer friends, since Clint apologized, and it's once Clint has joined the Thunderbolts, that is when Clint and Peter start to flirt a little more, and one thing leads to another, that leads to feelings and a relationship. Clint's been a Thunderbolt for the city for some time now, in a relationship with Peter for some time. About a year probably.

💜 Peter and part-time Mayday move in with Clint at some point down the line, making the Spiderman and little Bug mainstays in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn. The neighbors at Bed-Stuy absolutely love Peter B. Parker, and he's a big help at fixing things and making thee apartment labeling make sense

💜 Clint and MJ are buds, pals, friends; he loves her. The Barton-Parker-Watson family is so good and wholesome. Kate Bishop is also a part of that, DUH, Peter gets Kate in Clint's will. Kate and Peter have such a funny friendship.

💜 Eventually, Clint does get back in good graces with the Avengers, and even returns to the Avengers in the time of emergencies. He can be both a TB and an Avenger sometimes as a treat.

💜 Clint's even visited Spider-society once, because Peter vouched really had for a bring-your-boyfriend to work day.

💜 Clint's best friend, outside of his other best friends. His non-superhero friend if he has to be specific is Leonard, he loves harassing his doctor, needs him as his sponsor. has become more of brother to him than barney is, and is his best friend. they just get each other. and he swears if leonard gets hurt.

💜 Leonard makes Clint cry more than he'd care to admit to, like when Leonard and the Mccoy family adopt Clint as their own, and treat him like family. It makes him cry and stop he knows it's okay to cry Peter, he's till crying though and its ugly. He also just loves Leonard a lot.

💙 Linda and Leonard start dating before Freefall takes place exact timeline uncertain. this happens after Leonard wises up. She cares a lot about him, and was just giving him space to adjust to moving to New York and involving himself in superhero lives. They are so close with each other, and really it was a matter of time.

💙 The Night Nurse Network is a thing, with Linda's clinic being a whole location, and she's got her rolodex of associates. She's got help now, she's not the only doctor/physician acting as more than half of NYC's hero population's pcp and emergency doctor. She has @thefleetsfinest and @hopeburns (when she's not in space) who both can be ran into and seen around the clinic, as well most importantly, everyone's favorite waiting room buddy, Leonard's corgi Luna. there's three doctors/nurses are the night nurse clinic now.

💙 As Clint would put it, the crush era between Linda and Leonard was unbearable (and since clint was drinking at the time / he drank to that) as Leonard would deny any time he got jealous that Linda was trying to date and get out there. Linda absolutely hated that time, as most dates were just not interesting or went poorly, and she did not really want to be "getting out there", plus Leonard was right there and really they were both unbearable and oblivious to each other's interest in the other!

💙 Linda always ends up back at the clinic after her dates (the one time with the lizard girl), and most of that she ends up hanging out with Leonard after all her dates, cause he's more interesting (and the ideal guy)

💙 Linda's friends include Jessica Drew (and Carol by extension), Stephen Strange (they get coffee, he's a pest once he knows about leonard too absolutely awful), Laelynn (by extension her girlfriend Luce), and Leonard (by extension clint and peter are around a too), and than there is Danny and Luke as well.

💙 Speaking of Jessica Drew, Linda absolutely adores babysitting Gerry when given the chance. To add to that, she starts watching Mayday Parker as well which she really doesn't mind, because of Leonard doing a favor for @crisispider and Clint.

💜🧡 Clint and Peter watch Greer's kid William sometimes, which naturally Clint is like "Oh my pal leonard can watch him too" which sorry Leonard you didn't like those curtains did you anyways. So Greer has Clint or lets Clint's friend Leonard watch William.

💙💜 So Linda and Leonard babysit, just as Clint and Peter will baby sit all the super kids they know.

��� Linda was more nervous about Leonard meeting her mother, than about meeting the Mccoys or Leonard meeting the rest of her family. This is mostly because of the fact that her mother was unpredictable in how her opinion could be swayed. It wouldn't change anything, but it'd be preferrable if she was Leonard-favorable.

💛 Wasps and spiders may be natural enemies (which may not be true), but Nadia has said she has arguably warmed up to @crisispider but like Miles is still the cooler Spiderman

❤️ Luce (i know i need to add her) is absolute buds with @crisispider it happens mostly because she quips back to at least half of Spiderman's jokes with quotes in specific voice, and they usually grab a bite after a tough day of heroing. That and they get the whole secret identity.

❤️ Luce is Newark's vigilante, but she'll end up wherever a lead will take her which is more often than not over the water to NYC. She tries to avoid being in Manhattan, minus the Night Nurse clinic which is currently in Manhattan, because every superhero and his mom defends Manhattan. She'll go defend Staten Island if she has to over Manhattan (that's a joke she'll kick names and take ass anywhere, wait a minute)

❤️ LUCE ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT PROVE LEGAL ADVICE ! She knows why are asking @crisispider so go pester a lawyer! She is just a paralegal, and it's in her opinion that like hawkeye should not.

FUTURE PLANS AND EVENTS

💜 THE WURM -> don't worry about :) -> it's not a cosmic threat :) -> all in your minds :) -> it's my blog, so of course, this would happen in a meddium length hawkeye run :)

💜 A few relapses for Clint, superhero shit is tough but he always gets back on and it never lasts long. his sobriety lasts longer.

💜 Oh about that Wurm ;) The avengers are clint's team :) oh and Clint plus the team save the day :) so you think :) and things are fine until the Wurm comes back to eat Clint I mean what :)

💙 Linda has to relocate the clinic, which actually ends up being more upsetting than she'll care to admit. It happen, it's happened before, she's always moved when needed. This time it's more because Danny Rand had bought the last building to remove rent as an issue for her. She knows it was a give back thank you gift, these things happen, it is still absolutely a stressful and massive plan when she moves her clinic out of the Lower East Side. She tries to find a place near the same area and still in Manhattan, but rent is a bitch. She manages to find a place in Turtle Bay, between 2nd and 3rd.

💜 Clint and Peter get married ! There is going to be a wedding. The proposal? Has not been worked out. But there is, of course it's gonna end up a big thing, spiderman and hawkey are big heroes!

💜 Clint's best man is . . . complicated. It ends up being co-best man Kate and Leonard. He had to narrow down groomspeople to a limit number of four. Figuring out who is. . . . still tough.

💙 The meeting of the Carters and Mccoys was something, which to date may be the most stressed that Linda has ever been to date. It goes well, mostly.

💙 Linda and Leonard will get married too, and Linda wants it family and friends, and keep it small and quiet. As much as it can be when there are already a few superheroes who have to be on the list ( stephen plus clint and peter)

💜 Clint is Leonard's best man for his wedding with Linda. IT IS VERY EMOTIONAL. and Clint's speech is great (awful)

💙 linda's dress is a little decade inspired, just below the knee in leg, with some umpf to the skirt, off the shoulders or at least neck bare, good for dancing, very simple. the more exciting part of this is really the lace she is wearing underneath.

💜 Peter is gonna have a second kid with Clint. They are gonna be girl dads time two.

and just. so much more. so much. i love this affiliate verse. so much. also like. peter has the whole of spider society stuff. going on. and clint can't even wrap his head around some of it.

ACCEPTING -> me having to write this about my own muse like now i need to scream at @thefleetsfinest for repairs to my noggin

❝ If this goes ANYWHERE near the Med-bay, I kill you and you think I make threats lightly. ⸻ You can't prove I haven't killed someone before; my dark, mysterious past I don't share about and I like that way. ❞ He does have criminal charges on his record.

❝ I get it, I'm a loose-lips ship-sinker; and I'm HONEST, got all these fantasies in head and you wanna hear them, the details to the smashing or passing. ❞ It's a lot, and does he need to reiterate this can't get back to the medical bay. ❝ But like, I mean, heeelllllooooo, Nurse ⸻ can I get a private check-up with Dr. Carter? ❞

If it wasn't obvious, ❝ SMASH ⸻ I've also got a thing for mean looking women, and she's, uh, definitely a reason a few fellas stop by the med-bay just to stare. ❞ Locker room kind of talk, the woman did have assets, a rack like that in a tight dress, and there's the whole hair always pinned up thing. The lines he'd have for her. AWFUL.

❝ I ain't afraid to go down for murder, just remember that. Not a word. I know how to hide bodies and were all the holes are in thee ship's security is. ❞

Surgery had never terrified her before; technically, it did not scare her now. She had been a surgical nurse to general practitioner, surgery was not the issue. There is always vaguely been the thought in the back of her head, it feels like it sits at the base of her skull when someone came in with the need for a major surgery, life-saving surgery. She was, after all, a small private clinic and surgery was not something she would saw they were equipped for (despite having an operating room prepared now).

It was not for lack of experience, it was not for lack of tools. It was because it had been just Linda over the years and now she's got unpaid or underpaid surgeon and a nurse, and they did too much already. It's because the more she does things like that, the bigger this gets, the clinic gets and that was dangerous for one thing and because it wasn't a fully functional hospital. It was a last resort on the best of days and worst of days.

Now she had become a primary care physician because there's shortage of those, of doctors in general, and superheroes or people with powers, non-humans were out of luck when it came to the healthcare system, got the short end of the stick. They needed people to care for them, to do their routine check ups, answer their questions, or at least try to.

NEEDING TO DO SURGERY ⸻ was a big risk, and she quite literally held someone's life in her hands. She had a team, but she didn't have a team like a hospital would. No emergency equipment or extra blood, or additional personnel if needed. It was just her and Leonard, which thank god he was a surgeon. An ex-surgical nurse and a surgeon, it's a good team. Sometimes, the only team for people who can't have their face known, who can't go to a hospital and risk arrest.

It didn't feel like it was enough. They held their fingers on someone's pulse today, made the cut and opened them. One mistake, and that was too much that she would deal with as aftermath. So Linda simply did not think of that, but of the trust laid in her. It was a long surgery, and once she's told one of New York's night life patrollers what to do after an operation like this, and when to come in to for her to check up on their healing. It was just her and Leonard.

She knows they helped someone, knows what worrying would get get her. However, it doesn't always feel like its enough. Surgery scared Linda Carter today because of that feeling. The process of cleaning is started, table and equipment first and than her hands. Scrubbing off the day's work and quietly hoping no one needs her at least for the next few hours. A lull in need and emergency, that no one was getting hurt.

The Night Nurse goes off into her head as she cleans, as she works at sanitizing and sterilizing, the room and than herself. Rubbing at her arms a little roughly, rolling her wrists, and going through rotes in her head. That taking on more like this wasn't going backfire, she was enough, that she didn't need to be more than she was, that she got into medicine because she wanted to help people, and loved it. . . .

An awareness of where Leonard was is lost to her as he looks down at her hands, scrubs at her fingers with a brush. Goes a little harder with her nails, more on habit than concern anything broke her gloves and got through. THAT IS HER BODY'S INSTINCT KICKS IN. Feeling heat and presence behind her, than there's a draft ⸺ not a draft, but a breath blowing at her spot of her neck that is bare.

A tingle runs over her spine, Linda catches herself inhaling OVER HIM. Anticipation of what was next, knowing what this feeling was and what was coming. His breath at her neck, his closeness. THERE HE WAS. She had lost him, for a moment in the room, and she couldn't have done this without him.

There was time that she could, and that's not to say she's worse now; she could do it alone again but trying to give as much as she could to the super community. A medical team was needed to give people the best. Medicine was not a solo effort, EVER. She didn't want to do it alone, and now especially without him.

His hands are damp, dare she say, still wet that'll leave spots on her scrubs where his hands land. ANTICIPATION. She is still waiting and than ⸻ his lips do press to her skin, now she exhale out. Make her soft sounds (ones always for him), tired and in her head little breath, as Leonard lingers. She need that, feeling her heart aflutter just a little, as he does and focuses on the air coming through his nostril, light like a breeze or draft, at a point upon here neck.

Linda's head cants ever so slightly to the side opposite to give him, his lips, and head room to reside there. A SMILE TO HERSELF, her lips parting like she wants to talk, like she'll say something like HEY YOU, or maybe something softer and sweeter. Nothing comes out, and maybe it was okay to melt back.

She pulls her hands from the sink, doesn't bother drying them and goes to secure his arms around her body. KEEP HIM THERE. Anchor herself with him, and just breath. Let herself do that, keep doing that and breathing. Stay as long as she liked, until someone needed help; until eventually they should finish cleaning up.

His lips on her neck, oh that was a thrill she had not known she had been lacking, some quiet need that her body didn't know about until he was here. Already wrapped around her, arms which she wants tight. Take her respite like this, and she lets out almost a quiet suddenly aware neither has broken the silence as his lips kept at her neck.

There was no rush, but it was inevitable. She did not want to stay in this room forever, at least specific room; in his arms, yes, she had debated and agreed on forever as a concept in his arms. A room that smelt like antiseptic intentionally? No. They finish cleaning, and make their way back to the little lobby and oh, thank god, it's empty so she can kiss him, and look at him. Tired and achy because that had been long and it went well.

Green eyes look at him with a plead before her lips even part to speak, debate on her lips if they call the time and close the clinic doors and go get food, or go home and there was food at home (at least in one of their fridges). If they were sticking around, then the plea was for him to order them something please.

It had been one HELL of a surgery, and an EXCRUCIATING long one at that. Leonard's entire spine, and absolutely EVERY joint he had were aching but that didn't stop him from slipping up behind Linda (who had just been INNOCENTLY scrubbing down her hands, minding her business even.) and wrapping his still damp arms around her waist. Leonard's head dipping down (despite his spine's disapproval) and pressing the a kiss to the base of Linda's NECK.

Leonard LINGERED there, his eyes slipping closed as he could feel the STEADY & STRONG beat of her pulse under his lips. There wasn't any need to fill the silence with words, instead content to just HOLD her close in his arms. She fit so PERFECTLY right there pressed against his chest, wrapped up in his arms, it was as if he had been made to HOLD her close.

"I'm screwed." It was a soft admission and one that had come out of nowhere. The two had just been sitting there in silence, Luna between the two of them. (Head on Barton's knee. Traitor.) Leonard honest to god didn't think he could fall for someone like this again.. yet there he was. In love.

God Dammit..

" Just take me out of my misery Barton. Just shoot me off into the DARK ABYSS." He was sure that Clint had already put one and two together, he was OBNOXIOUSLY smart, no matter how much he liked to pretend he wasn't.

Today felt like one of those slower days, met roughly around the same time as they always did and Clint's stretching slow. Feeling parts of his body pop as he does so, and watching for Leonard to experience the same thing that came with age. He absolutely had not felt like pushing himself today, and than the good doctor brought his mutt to yoga.

That wasn't particularly out of the unusual but he consider pup-days to be slower days when they probably going to go through their routines much slower or even stop midway way through, like they were doing now. Sat on the floor together, and not a word was needed to be uttered. HE SHOULD HAVE HAD MORE COFFEE. However, getting up to go fulfill that desire was most unappealing thought right now.

Legs had been straight out in front of him, and he had ben leaning forward to touch his toes which came with ease despite his middle age now. That form of stretching abandoned when Luna turns her head to stare at him, big brown pup eyes and he's reaching to scratch behind her ears until the corgi's head is resting on his knees and Clint decides to stop moving all together.

Keeps himself propped up with his arms slightly behind his back while he simply breathes, relaxes until Leonard breaks the silence first. I'M SCREWED. That makes him makes a soft ha, that mostly lives in his throat. Those first two words don't give him much context, but all that he really knew was that it was time for one of their chats. They could be about anything, and Clint knew the rules. Whatever is said stays between the grave and morning yoga.

It doesn't sound like one of the when-I-used-to-drink talks, or any of their weighty things. It's not the kind of aa sounding talk either, or that's good new. Not that he minded, this was one of the few spaces where Clint ever expressed how his gut turned when he needed a drink and has denied himself every year in recent years.

OUT OF MY MISERY. . . . DARK ABYSS ⸻ Now Clint knows what he was talking about, and he lets himself laugh softly. That's tad dramatic, and Clint plays right off that. ❝ Okay, meet me where I can jettison you off later. ❞ That almost sounded dirty, which makes Clint laugh a little more at that own thought. ❝ I was gonna ask, do you ever think the Captain would let me jettison someone into space to insta-freeze-explode. . . . But if you're so willing. . . . ❞ He's not being serious at all and he could hazard a guess onto WHO he was talking about it.

❝ Cardiac means heart, right? ❞ He asks, as if he's an idiot who doesn't know how to add or what words longer than four were. HEART DOCTOR is the point he's making with that question. ❝ That sounds like the most typical thing ever ⸻ Like I'm pretty sure Peter's read the role reversal version of this story in a novel before. ❞

Clint's attention returns to Luna, giving her more scritches and he thinks he could really get something out of this. ❝ I won't say anything, and I won't even tease you if Peter and I can have Luna for a week. ❞ He will always take opportunity for dog time.

On my side, not Mel's side, I am only writing one romantic ship in the Star Trek setting/au and that's with Mel's @thefleetsfinest. Very dedicated woman to medicine and well-being of the crew. verse; pepper potts; captain of her own (uss unreliable) // an open star trek au verse, in which Pepper hot off the heels of being the infamous Captain Tony Stark's first officer (of which there's is many rumors surrounding him), has been promoted and now is Captain Potts of the USS Unreliable. . . . her first officer being Steve Rogers (@liibertysdream) of whom is a former captain himself (rumors surrounding him as well, oh no pepper what are you doing). She was communications and command before hand, with prior goals of managing a starbase or colony, now being made Captain of a ship.

as a general rule of thumb, @/thefleetfinest regardless of verse or ship, mel's leonard mccoy is clint's sober buddy/sponsor always. assume he is in all of these verses. Or if i have written him in / if he is referenced like an npc assume it's mel's leonard. // mass effect and dragon age may go single ship as well to be determined

Set in the Kelvin timeline

One of five helmsman on the Enterprise, he is typically Sulu's alternate and typically takes the night shift

Post Beyond, he is contemplating a career change from pilot seat to being a security officer thinking his skillset may be better used not glued to monitoring flight controls (actually its the paranoia and trauma)

He doesn't join Starfleet Academy until he is 33, after being an entertainer from the age of 14 to 32 when he got a divorce

He's an odd one, not the most authority friendly

Manages sobriety alongside Leonard Mccoy after an incident with John Walker in the final year of academy before the Nero crisis

Divorced and sad except now he is a committed relationship with engineer Peter and he makes him happy

Friends: Leonard, Uhura, Carol, Peter and Linda. Iowan Alliance with Jim

Currently on his revenge quest to kill the T-Bolts and everyone responsible for V-Day

Can be deterred from this suicide revenge quest because well his family is alive

One of the first few human spectres to come after Commander Shepard (this can happen in the two year gap when shepard is "dead" in me2 // happens post any ending of me3)

Barney and him got off planet of earth when he was only 12 years old, where they both ended up running with a bad crew

That causes a lot of trouble for Clint, but also makes him the best marksmen you could ever pay for

After Barney dies from injuries on a job gone wrong, Clint flips his tune and starts to go after gangs like the gang he ran with (turn vigilante)

There was one specific take down of a splinter pirate crew, that had lead to Clint meeting and working with high ranking Alliance officer Steve Rogers and engineer Tony Stark (not just a phony tony stark; but the Tony Stark of wealth and fame)

The meeting of these two, would later prove beneficial, when Clint would be set up by ex partners-in-crime and would lead up to arrested on the Citadel, awaiting Council judgement

Rogers and Stark had apparently been keeping an eye on Clint, and not only bailed him out with the Council but pitched and vouched; that the Citadel instead turn Clint into one of their operatives. he's got skills that are hard to teach, scary accuracy with any weapon in his hand.

That's how Clint went from orphan to criminal to vigilante to one of the Citadel's few human spectres

Clint has a small crewed ship named the BROKEN ARROW with a varying crew (some details will be static if verse goes singleship)

BROKEN ARROW has two doctors, leonard mccoy (@/thefleetsfinest) and (my) linda carter who specializes in medicinal care for biotics and xenology

Sobriety comes with being a spectre, wanting to be and do better; actually take this seriously as a way to do good in the universe

Clint's one of the original fireflies; when the group started to rise up in the world

He's always been a resistance guerilla fighter of a guy; doesn't approve of some of the ways that fedra control affected the world

Incredibly resourceful and an invaluable survivalist, almost exclusively uses a bow and arrow

As the fireflies start to lose sight, or as clint finds out about some of their not-so ideal ways of helping people (he is a huge help people guy) he starts to turn away from being a firefly or being the first guy to call them out

quits the order as he finds himself ill with what circles have become, as the chantry does cuts him off from lyrium

turns to alcohol to cope with lyrium addiction and withdrawal

centered around the inquisition timeline, with clint joining up with the inquisition at haven ; favors mage-friendly inquisitors and anti-chantry followers most

can splinter off into two additional verses with one being clint becoming a warden in for da:o / da:a or be a companion for da2

616 // all he ever needed was to trust his own wings

Working on amends with all the Avengers (and hopefully be an Avenger again)

Managing his sobriety well which came about after he was outed as Ronin and events of freefall

He and Kate have reconnected, and he'll usually turn a blind eye for her (sorry Luke and Helen; hawkeye fam always comes first)
