AFFILIATE VERSE / Into the Mel-verse if you are feeling groovy
set in a heavily canon divergent 616 timeline w/ spiderverse movies worked in / some of this like the leonard stuff is canon across all verses @thefleetsfinest / @crisispider / @hopeburns
anyways, here's a bunch of headcanons and notes that i have for what i have developed with MEL MY BELOVED BESTIE; and if it's chill, i will probably default to this verse being my main / primary. so if you're groovy, i'd like to write in this verse.
💜💙 freefall happens a little differently, in that linda and clint never dated, but they are friends mostly because linda is dating @thefleetsfinest and leonard adopted a stray alcoholic (clint) that is how that is going
💜💙 linda and clint still attend the gala together, or more linda runs into clint at the f.e.a.s.t. charity thing (leonard is probably in attendance too / linda still calls tony small dick energy and then kisses her doctor boyfriend) and both are squinty eyes at him the entire time
💜💙 Clint is actually injured going to Linda's clinic when Spiderman and Captain America confront him, and Linda still goes to defend him; partly because she will not have that happening right outside of her clinic. it definitely one of the leading causes where she wants some space from clint
💜💙 Clint still brings Bryce to Linda's apartment, and Bryce dies, and that's why Clint gets banned from her apartment. Linda calls Leonard to help with clean up, and Leonard helps Clint in the direct aftermath
💜 He goes to Leonard all injured after The Hood, and than he decides to go sober with the help of Leonard
💜💙 clint is still currently banned from linda's apartment, but she has mostly forgiven him for covering his ass and the whole dying kid in her house; it's fine he is leonard's friend, she can forgive him over time
💜 leonard mccoy is clint's aa sponsor, across all open verses, when post freefall happens; clint's living on leonard's couch as he gets sober and starts to put his life back together, there may have been some snuggling involved, because when you are sad and pitiful, sometimes being held is nice and lenny is a good friend.
💙 Clint and Leonard tend to go to aa meetings in Brooklyn, but if ever needed they have popped into the usual place that Tony and Carol end up. The first time that happened was so awkward for Clint.
💜 The first four people, on Clint's long list of amends and apologies, is to Kate, Bucky, Natasha, and Peter Parker.
💜 Now let's get on to talking Peter Parker ( @crisispider ). After apologizing to Peter, the two had always been friends over the years, but they become closer friend again. Clint is surprisingly there as Peter is going through the details of a divorce, or co-parenting, and being a single dad.
💜 Clint is roughly one year sober, and only doing small investigative, vigilante/hero work, not always directly in NYC (legal troubles), and that is when Luke has become Mayor (tbh i do not know the timeline between 2020 to 2022/23 comics well) when he gets the offer about the Thunderbolts, he is not at all sure about it and still has major issues with this
💜 Clint and Peter have been becoming closer friends, since Clint apologized, and it's once Clint has joined the Thunderbolts, that is when Clint and Peter start to flirt a little more, and one thing leads to another, that leads to feelings and a relationship. Clint's been a Thunderbolt for the city for some time now, in a relationship with Peter for some time. About a year probably.
💜 Peter and part-time Mayday move in with Clint at some point down the line, making the Spiderman and little Bug mainstays in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn. The neighbors at Bed-Stuy absolutely love Peter B. Parker, and he's a big help at fixing things and making thee apartment labeling make sense
💜 Clint and MJ are buds, pals, friends; he loves her. The Barton-Parker-Watson family is so good and wholesome. Kate Bishop is also a part of that, DUH, Peter gets Kate in Clint's will. Kate and Peter have such a funny friendship.
💜 Eventually, Clint does get back in good graces with the Avengers, and even returns to the Avengers in the time of emergencies. He can be both a TB and an Avenger sometimes as a treat.
💜 Clint's even visited Spider-society once, because Peter vouched really had for a bring-your-boyfriend to work day.
💜 Clint's best friend, outside of his other best friends. His non-superhero friend if he has to be specific is Leonard, he loves harassing his doctor, needs him as his sponsor. has become more of brother to him than barney is, and is his best friend. they just get each other. and he swears if leonard gets hurt.
💜 Leonard makes Clint cry more than he'd care to admit to, like when Leonard and the Mccoy family adopt Clint as their own, and treat him like family. It makes him cry and stop he knows it's okay to cry Peter, he's till crying though and its ugly. He also just loves Leonard a lot.
💙 Linda and Leonard start dating before Freefall takes place exact timeline uncertain. this happens after Leonard wises up. She cares a lot about him, and was just giving him space to adjust to moving to New York and involving himself in superhero lives. They are so close with each other, and really it was a matter of time.
💙 The Night Nurse Network is a thing, with Linda's clinic being a whole location, and she's got her rolodex of associates. She's got help now, she's not the only doctor/physician acting as more than half of NYC's hero population's pcp and emergency doctor. She has @thefleetsfinest and @hopeburns (when she's not in space) who both can be ran into and seen around the clinic, as well most importantly, everyone's favorite waiting room buddy, Leonard's corgi Luna. there's three doctors/nurses are the night nurse clinic now.
💙 As Clint would put it, the crush era between Linda and Leonard was unbearable (and since clint was drinking at the time / he drank to that) as Leonard would deny any time he got jealous that Linda was trying to date and get out there. Linda absolutely hated that time, as most dates were just not interesting or went poorly, and she did not really want to be "getting out there", plus Leonard was right there and really they were both unbearable and oblivious to each other's interest in the other!
💙 Linda always ends up back at the clinic after her dates (the one time with the lizard girl), and most of that she ends up hanging out with Leonard after all her dates, cause he's more interesting (and the ideal guy)
💙 Linda's friends include Jessica Drew (and Carol by extension), Stephen Strange (they get coffee, he's a pest once he knows about leonard too absolutely awful), Laelynn (by extension her girlfriend Luce), and Leonard (by extension clint and peter are around a too), and than there is Danny and Luke as well.
💙 Speaking of Jessica Drew, Linda absolutely adores babysitting Gerry when given the chance. To add to that, she starts watching Mayday Parker as well which she really doesn't mind, because of Leonard doing a favor for @crisispider and Clint.
💜🧡 Clint and Peter watch Greer's kid William sometimes, which naturally Clint is like "Oh my pal leonard can watch him too" which sorry Leonard you didn't like those curtains did you anyways. So Greer has Clint or lets Clint's friend Leonard watch William.
💙💜 So Linda and Leonard babysit, just as Clint and Peter will baby sit all the super kids they know.
💙 Linda was more nervous about Leonard meeting her mother, than about meeting the Mccoys or Leonard meeting the rest of her family. This is mostly because of the fact that her mother was unpredictable in how her opinion could be swayed. It wouldn't change anything, but it'd be preferrable if she was Leonard-favorable.
💛 Wasps and spiders may be natural enemies (which may not be true), but Nadia has said she has arguably warmed up to @crisispider but like Miles is still the cooler Spiderman
❤️ Luce (i know i need to add her) is absolute buds with @crisispider it happens mostly because she quips back to at least half of Spiderman's jokes with quotes in specific voice, and they usually grab a bite after a tough day of heroing. That and they get the whole secret identity.
❤️ Luce is Newark's vigilante, but she'll end up wherever a lead will take her which is more often than not over the water to NYC. She tries to avoid being in Manhattan, minus the Night Nurse clinic which is currently in Manhattan, because every superhero and his mom defends Manhattan. She'll go defend Staten Island if she has to over Manhattan (that's a joke she'll kick names and take ass anywhere, wait a minute)
❤️ LUCE ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT PROVE LEGAL ADVICE ! She knows why are asking @crisispider so go pester a lawyer! She is just a paralegal, and it's in her opinion that like hawkeye should not.
FUTURE PLANS AND EVENTS
💜 THE WURM -> don't worry about :) -> it's not a cosmic threat :) -> all in your minds :) -> it's my blog, so of course, this would happen in a meddium length hawkeye run :)
💜 A few relapses for Clint, superhero shit is tough but he always gets back on and it never lasts long. his sobriety lasts longer.
💜 Oh about that Wurm ;) The avengers are clint's team :) oh and Clint plus the team save the day :) so you think :) and things are fine until the Wurm comes back to eat Clint I mean what :)
💙 Linda has to relocate the clinic, which actually ends up being more upsetting than she'll care to admit. It happen, it's happened before, she's always moved when needed. This time it's more because Danny Rand had bought the last building to remove rent as an issue for her. She knows it was a give back thank you gift, these things happen, it is still absolutely a stressful and massive plan when she moves her clinic out of the Lower East Side. She tries to find a place near the same area and still in Manhattan, but rent is a bitch. She manages to find a place in Turtle Bay, between 2nd and 3rd.
💜 Clint and Peter get married ! There is going to be a wedding. The proposal? Has not been worked out. But there is, of course it's gonna end up a big thing, spiderman and hawkey are big heroes!
💜 Clint's best man is . . . complicated. It ends up being co-best man Kate and Leonard. He had to narrow down groomspeople to a limit number of four. Figuring out who is. . . . still tough.
💙 The meeting of the Carters and Mccoys was something, which to date may be the most stressed that Linda has ever been to date. It goes well, mostly.
💙 Linda and Leonard will get married too, and Linda wants it family and friends, and keep it small and quiet. As much as it can be when there are already a few superheroes who have to be on the list ( stephen plus clint and peter)
💜 Clint is Leonard's best man for his wedding with Linda. IT IS VERY EMOTIONAL. and Clint's speech is great (awful)
💙 linda's dress is a little decade inspired, just below the knee in leg, with some umpf to the skirt, off the shoulders or at least neck bare, good for dancing, very simple. the more exciting part of this is really the lace she is wearing underneath.
💜 Peter is gonna have a second kid with Clint. They are gonna be girl dads time two.
and just. so much more. so much. i love this affiliate verse. so much. also like. peter has the whole of spider society stuff. going on. and clint can't even wrap his head around some of it.

Lucille Cromwell's Origin Lore's story
Since Luce's story lives in my head like a stylistic video game (Suda51 games), had a dream of how things go down, cause over all her story is one of grief when secrets come to light and being alone, ultimately Luce lives and triumphs in saving the world, averting something worse, all these events kind of take coarse over three years, from age twenty seven to age thirty
PART ONE The first two of siblings that Lucille targets are emotionally the hardest for her; she stats with the hope that maybe things aren't bad.
Peter and Vivian were her closest in age, the siblings she played with and were closest to. Vivian was her best friend, her everything and Peter helped her with school. So emotionally, looking into them to see if what she finds out is even real is tough
As she bounces between visiting them and starts to see the secrets, the not so pretty things, and realizes it is real. Realizes that this was a deeper than she thought, and that stopping them won't be simple.
These first two are more stealth based, that are cut between her as Luce simply visiting her siblings and then her cloaked as Red looking deeper. The confrontations don't involve a lot of talking from Red, mostly having to hold herself in and happen without the rest of the Cromwells knowing that Luce is onto the rest of the family or suspicion about whose under the red cloak.
After Vivian's confrontation and death, there's a whole funeral that's really tough on Luce because she did this. She didn't want to and then she knows that the rest of them are next.
Peter's death, no suspicion is on Luce as far as Luce knows, and it's equally tough. These two siblings die without the awareness of who got to them. Red is simply some random person. That's kind of tough on Luce and she's done it now. Blood on both hands.
This got so long so under the read more.
PART TWO The next part kind of when in like the "video game" things are mostly the same, but a twist is about to be introduced. The next targets are the girl twins, Judit and Sloan, that Lucille figures out to go after.
The main concerns she has is their husbands being involved along with wounding if due to the fact they are twins, even if they have been separate a long time that they may have some kind of special knowledge or connection of the other.
So Lucille has to be swift and certain, can't do one at a time, has to have her evidence and certainty and plan the confrontations to not be too long after, because she's sure the family at least knows that a red cloaked individual has been visiting.
Sloan is who she goes after first, between the two twins, Sloan was always the tougher one; so she figures strongest twin first, because she'd had to meet a Sloan prepared over a Judit prepared.
The confrontation with Sloan is where things start to really change. Luce knows that this is it, they will know they are targeted. Twos random. Three? When she faces Sloan down, during the struggle Sloan sees under the hood / finds out that this is baby sister Lucille and its shock and horror.
It absolutely traumatizes Luce whose apologizing, whose holding her sister as her life fades and then that was it. Things are different. Sloan knows who her killer is. Which is the comfort that Luce tries to find in that.
Going after Judit, Luce is expecting it to be harder, expecting that twin powers are real, and possibly even reveal herself. That is not what she finds and when there's a tonal shift in the narrative.
Judit's been gotten to already. I can see the "cutscene" just tension and horror, to find her sister laid out as a message for her. "I know who you are. I know why you are coming for us. See you soon, Red, don't worry your secret is safe with me."
It's terrifying, because US signifies it is someone in the family, only one of them and they know who is Red, they know its Lucille and to... kill Judit for her. It's terrifying.
Luce figures out that it's either Dimitri, Avalon, or her mother that would have done this as they terrify her the most. They've always been so sharp, so smart, people savvy and leaders of the family.
She's down to the last five of her family now and it's tough either way; she's in too deep and the message using Judit, there's no going back, there's a certainty if she doesn't finish than her family will go after her.
Luce bites the bullet that she has to take on the twins, Xander and Dimitri, two at once, because they are always together. They were the reason why she assumed that Judit and Sloan might have twin powers, because those two definitely have twin powers.
They do, and it's a tough fight. They don't know that it's Luce, they only know hee as the one who got all of the rest and blame her for Judit as well. So that rules out Dimitri, like he could have kept something from Xander anyways. Luce is triumphant and that only leaves Avalon and her parents.
PART THREE The last sibling is Avalon. She's the smartest, most calculated and you can bet that she's the one who got Judit. That's what Luce will figure out and so when she starts digging into Avalon, preparing for a confrontation. Avalon sends her an invitation, gives her the whole spiel.
Avalon confesses to the setting up Judit for a message, calls Luce both a coward for hiding behind a cloak, as Avalon has no issues letting her victims know her face, while equally calling her bold because she didn't think her mousey little clone could be capable of going as far as she had.
Which there's your endgame twist that feels like it changes things, but really only solidifies the protagonist. Luce is a copy of Avalon, they don't look identical but Luce's abilities? Same as Avalon's which would make this one of the toughest "boss fights" given the matching talents/capabilities
To add on top of that, Avalon's the doctor, the scientist. She had vials of their siblings blood and strands of DNA, which she uses to give herself a boost of their siblings abilities.
Avalon will kind of reveal all, from how she and their mother are kind of the masterminds, along with Lucille knowing being a fluke; that the messenger Luce had killed that kind of activated Luce's innate abilities (or more Avalon's abilities) had screwed up and went to Luce.
Once Avalon is dealt with, Luce goes to her father who apologizes for all of this and takes himself out, since he doesn't want endure the wrath of her mother nor for Luce to have to finish the job
PART FOUR With all her siblings gone and her father, it's only days before Lucille's thirtieth birthday and she gets an invitation to meet her mother at her London home, knowing there will be a fight. Her mother tries to subdue her, given how close she is the prophecized day but Lucille manages to fend off her minions.
Her mother further extends the whole plan, of where she and Luce's father had come from, along with every detail about her siblings, how Avalon was the perfect daughter and her experiments went well, and you know endgame lore dump goes.
Luce is in rough shape, has been for the past three years, but these last few months have been the hardest. She fights with her mother, and ultimately kills her.
Thus averting the world ending crisis from ever happening, just shy of her thirtieth birthday.
Now with her whole family gone, by her own hands, save for Judit and her father's, and now having turned thirty with no one out to get her. No one as far as she knows, knowing she's a key to world destruction..
She walks off into the night, feeling hollow and with questions of what now. She's stopped evil, there may be more, does she become a vigilante and look for more evil, knowing the truth about the universe and what's out there? Does she just fade off into nothing, try to go back to her old life? Confess her crimes? She doesn't have an answer, and that's kind of where it all ends.

Stuart Templeton at Ratmobile Adventures recently wrote about an impromptu stop and a battle by a bridge. It reminded me of a battle that took place locally…
For some reason or another, I’ve been thinking about the church at Hardwick a fair bit lately, and thinking I needed to revisit. It is not far from home and I run past it every week when I go out to the farm to collect my son’s milk. I went through the photos from two previous visits, trying to find out what was bugging me about the place.
The first time I had visited, on my own, I had thought the place rather bland and uninteresting, even though it technically ticked all ‘our’ boxes… not realising that the missing ingredient was my companion on these adventures. A second visit, in his company, revealed all the details I had managed, on that first visit, to see, photograph… and dismiss. It wasn’t the church that was missing something, it was me.
St Mary the Virgin, Hardwick, is a rather grand church for such a small village, but as with many of these little hamlets, its history was tied to the families and events of a different era. It is thought that the first Saxon church was built here by Saxi, who was a thane… a landholder…under Edward the Confessor. Edward, the last king of the House of Wessex, was born not far away in Islip, just over the border into Oxfordshire, around AD1003.
The current church, though, was built around eight hundred years ago. Part of the nave dates from that time, but most of the church was added over the next two hundred years, with a major redesign and refurbishment by George Edwin Street in 1872.
A plaque on the wall states that the work was completed thanks to the efforts of the Rev. Bigg-Wither, in whose memory the reredos was installed, showing angels holding the instruments of the Crucifixion.
There are a number of memorial plaques on the walls, though the most striking memorial is that of Sir Robert Lee and his lady, Luce Piggott. Sir Robert died in 1616, aged seventy-three, and after fifty-five years of marriage. The couple face each other in prayer, and ranged about them are their eight sons and six daughters.
Little survives to show how the church might have looked in Sir Robert’s day, but there are clues. In one corner, where the banner of the Mother’s Union stands against the wall, are the remains of the stairway that probably once led to the rood loft… which means there would have been a rood screen, separating the chancel from the nave and surmounted by a depiction of the Crucifixion.
There are a couple of piscinae in the walls… little ‘sinks’ where holy water was disposed of, so that it would return to the building. In one corner, now behind glass, is a tiny cruet… a little jug, dating from the fourteenth century and found hidden in a secret chamber in the east wall, during the 1872 restorations.
You have to wonder why it was so carefully hidden… what it contained or what was its significance… and whether it was hidden to preserve it during the Reformation, when Cromwell’s troops destroyed so many sacred objects and art.
The magnificent windows were, for the most part, installed during Street’s re-ordering of the church. Only a few fragments of medieval glass survive, set in a small, circular window in the side chapel… all that is left of the early glass after such ‘idolatrous images’ were smashed by Cromwell’s Parliamentarian troops.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
It was Cromwell and the English Civil War that had called me back to Hardwick. The one photograph I did not have from the church was of a memorial, tucked away beneath the corner of the tower. The simple tomb bears a plaque telling how the bones of two hundred and forty-seven men were found in a field by Holman’s Bridge, not far away, in 1818. Given the history of the site and the appearance of the bones, they were thought to be the officers and men who had died in the Battle of Aylesbury, between Cromwell’s Roundheads and King Charles’ Cavaliers in 1642.
The royal forces, under Prince Rupert of the Rhine, had taken and occupied the town. On hearing of the approach of the Parliamentary forces, they sallied out, meeting the enemy forces by the ford where Holman’s Bridge now stands. Rupert’s forces charged the fifteen hundred enemy troops, but was driven back and forced to retreat, leaving five hundred of his men dead on the field. Cromwell’s forces are reported to have lost only ninety.
In 1818, workmen found the graves on the battlefield, including many that seemed to be those of officers. The bodies were collected and buried together in a mass grave at Hardwick, where the late Lord Nugent raised their memorial, where…
“…enemies through their attachment to opposite leaders and opposite standards in the sanguinary conflicts of that Civil War, they were together victims to its fury, united in one common slaughter, they were buried in one common grave, close to that spot where they had lately stood in arms against each other. After a lapse of more than a century and a half, their bones were collected and deposited, together still, in consecrated ground. may the memory of brave men be respected and may our country never again be called to take part in a contest such as that which this tablet records.”
Finding death together in battle, these men had finally found a place of peace. I admit that there were tears in my eyes as I read the tablet. More so, knowing what had happened over the last few years…
There is some controversy surrounding the battle, bolstered by a dearth of documentary evidence. The only document that survives to mention the battle is a Roundhead pamphlet that some now dismiss as propaganda. Prince Rupert is recorded as being elsewhere on that date… though that would not preclude troops nominally under his command from engaging the enemy. The battle that is said to have cost so many their lives has been reduced to ‘possibly’ a skirmish… and that in spite of the Civil War gun emplacements in a neighbouring field and the martial relics found in the area.
The gun emplacements have been called into question… it has been suggested that they may simply be a medieval rabbit warren. If so, they must be the biggest ruddy rabbits ever to have evolved. It has also been suggested that the bodies, in spite of being so carefully interred that they appeared to differentiate between the graves of officers and men, were ‘just’ plague graves. Or even Saxon…
In fact, the only thing anyone can agree on is that an awfully large residential development was built on the site around the time that the hitherto accepted story came into question. This development is twinned with another, a couple of fields across. It abuts the once-great Manor of Quarrendon that belonged to Sir Henry Lee, the Champion of Queen Elizabeth I, of which only an earthen ghost remains. The village of Quarrendon was part of the lands where only the melancholy remains of St Peter’s church still stand, marking the place where St Edburga and St Edith, daughters of King Penda of Mercia, and their niece St Osyth, were born.
While the memory of the dead must indeed make way for the needs of the living, I do have to wonder sometimes at the casual way our history and heritage can be dismissed… especially when money is concerned. Many important sites are under threat from unsympathetic developments…including Stonehenge, that most iconic ancient site.
As to the bodies found by Holman’s Bridge, no matter who they were, at least they now rest far from the bustle of a fast-growing town. I wonder, though, if the new residents know… or care… that so many died and were buried, with their stories, in their back yard?
The mystery in ‘my back yard…’ Stuart Templeton at Ratmobile Adventures recently wrote about an impromptu stop and a battle by a bridge.

luce cromwell's powers
MUTANT. PARALEGAL. NEWARK'S VIGILANTE.
POWERS DEFINED
POLYMATH: Advanced intellectual capabilities, where her mind instinctively, automatically, and with little deliberate cognitive thought performs complex mental operation that far beyond the capability of normal human brain.
PERFECT KINESTHESIA: She has the ability to duplicate any physical act, after seeing it done once, by anyone. She can re-perform subtle muscle movement, with flawless accuracy and precision, subsequent to observation, she can perform any physical act without difficulty.
ENHANCED PHYSIOLOGY: Upon her x-gene activating, Luce gained the ability to duplicate other abilities that she has seen performed by someone else or seen on video. Her brain capacity is expanded to absorb knowledge instantaneously, additionally her brain chemistry was hypercognitive in the area of skill observation and retention, as well as enhanced short-term memory.
PHOTOGRAPHIC REFLEXES: Watching another person’s physical movements, she can duplicate them without any practice or training as long as she has seen it once. She can master complex gymnastics routines and play difficult pieces of music, this can be used to copy combat skills, both armed and unarmed. Reviewing recordings of movements, she can retain duplicated moves indefinitely.
PHYSICAL MOVEMENT PREDICTION: Luce can figure out slight of hand techniques simply by watching them, and can often predict an opponents next move before they make it if she has studied their fighting style enough.
SUPERHUMAN AGILITY, REFLEXES, AND SPEED: Due to her photographic reflexes and perfect kinesthesia, she can push her body past natural limits allowing for her agility to match that Spider-man, as well as have a greater reaction speed than a normal human (she can deflect bullets, catch bullets being shot at her, and even catch weapons thrown at her without looking), she can temporarily move at speeds twice as fast as a normal human. Briefly, Luce can duplicate movements at double speed for a temporary and limited form of superhero speed, but she can only maintain this heighten state for a few minutes before risking overexertion, physical exhaustion, and damage to her body.
SOUND MANIPULATION: Luce has the ability to create, shape, and manipulate sound. She can mimic, intensify, hush, and distort sound. She can freely manipulate her voice, allowing her to control her voice to imitate sounds of creatures, such as animal noises and explosions, increase or decrease the tone of her voice.
AUDIOGRAPHIC MEMORY: She can memorize and reproduce any sound they have heard before, including music, voices or calls of animals. The degree of imitation is sufficiently high to the point where it can fool the real thing. Luce can mimic any sound she hears using one's voice. She has the able to mimic the voices of others or imitate sounds such as animal noises and explosions. Any sound that she hears she can replicate with perfect clarity along with any manner the sound was made.
VOICE PROJECTION: Luce has the power to project one's voice great distances or even into a room without being physically present. She can make their voice come from somewhere else, even great distances or somewhere where the user isn't physically present.
WEAKNESSES
ONE Luce is not capable of duplicating a physical feat if the effort to do so requires superhuman effort. For instance, while she could view an opponent lifting a car, she could not do so because her body can't duplicate the superhuman strength required to do so. In the same way, she cannot duplicate any superpowers she does not have.
TWO If an opponent is too unpredictable, such as Deadpool due to unpredictable nature and fractured mind; she can not copy moves or predict next movements.
THREE Her memory is not absolute or permanent, and over time she will begin to forget and need to relearn things; say she hasn’t has not used a language in two years than she would need to relearn to perfectly/fluently speak the language again, similar with moves.
FOUR Lucille’s mimicking abilities, copying movies, and general mirroring opponents is not perfect; and she actually mirrors and starts to mimic, plus absorb their emotional state as well. This can lead to Luce having aggression and anger issues, where she has gotten too wrapped up in hateful and frustrated emotions and start to go a little further and more extreme than she had originally been intending. It makes her fatal/lethal/brutal in a fight, makes any fight against her the possibility to become too desperate, and it can take her awhile to come down and come back to herself and original emotional state.
That last weakness is the big one, as she tends to pick up personality traits and violent tendencies because of that and can be difficult to return to herself.
I NEED TO ORGANIZE THIS. BUT HERE' HER ORIGINAL CONCEPTS.
so Luce is a paralegal (not a laway and can't exactly give you legal advice OFFICIALLY) by day
cause inspired by DD
whose also little inspired by runaways, where her mother's not exactly agood guy. but part of a kingpin esque circuit; which why that's bad. is cause her mom is the City's DA (district attorney), and then her dad's some big corp/pharma guy (divorced parents; it's awkward)
powers vocal mimicry and powers like taskmaster and finesse
Luce had basically like mimicry powers-ish, and so what do you do when you can do that
and you think your mother's wrong about her decisions as DA and then your father's funding corruption
you become a vigilante. and thn you string up your criminal of thee night in front of the courthouse With Evidence of their crimes scattered about
and that was about it with her story for the most part
but it was just like take the extreme route cause nothing else felt liek it was working
and then maybe maybe. cause of an unknown partof her power. that she does not realize she has no control of OR should need control of is how like brutal she gets?
