Karako bounces on the balls of his feet as he waits at the entrance for them to come.  They’re never late and always show up with things for the caverns!  they’d even started bringing Karako an extra piece of candy!

Wanshi teased him about how much he liked the mail troll but he didn’t care, he knew more than she did.  He knew the mail troll was going to be his matesprit!

When the mail troll pulled up they smiled and waved at him before going to open the back of their big scuttlebuggy.  Karako ran out to meet them and held his arms out for the packages - as he did every day.  

The mail troll asked him about his day, what he’d been keeping busy with, and how his friends were doing.  Karako answered each questions with an excited ‘HONK!’ As he was given a box to carry.

The mail troll grabbed the res tof the boxes and walked with Karako down the caverns to deliver the food and goods that had been ordered. Karako honked the whole way down and the mail troll nodded along.

Bronya met the two and signed for the packages before taking them.  The mail troll thanked her and smiled at Karako, pulling a sucker from their bag and thanking him for always being such a big helper and they were looking forward to seeing him tomorrow.  

Karako beamed as the mail troll nodded and walked back the way they came.  Karako watched, starry eyed as his future matesprit left for the day.
