Song by Jean Pederson
Jesus, you’re my sunshine on a dark and cloudy day; You told me that you love me, and you’ll never, never, never away.
Because you are the lily of the valley, You are the apple of my Father’s eye, You are the fairest of ten thousand You are the only one that will not lie.
Even when I’m lonely, And I don’t know what to do; Jesus you’re my best friend And I know that I can always talk to you.
Because you are the lily of the valley, You are the apple of my Father’s eye, You are the fairest of ten thousand You are the only one that will not lie.
This song reminds me about how Jesus is always ready to listen to rants and deep thoughts, no matter how dark they are. He knows us completely, yet loves us so deeply. That’s the God I serve! He is kind, compassionate and merciful. Sweet Jesus is available to anyone who is willing to invite Him into their business.

The Name Garden: Q&A Monday
Hello everyone, and welcome to another Q&A Monday! Sorry that I’m running a little late today - we’re nearing Tuesday, but just getting in on time! Let’s jump into the anonymous questions received this week. As always, if you have a question that you’d like answered, please submit it here.
---
Q: Could you do Hallie?
A: I sure can! I can’t give you an exact date that it will be posted, but I’m hoping that it’ll be up before the end of the week.
---
Q: Does "Borealis" seem far fetched as a science name? If not, what would be a cool last name to go with it?
A: It is a little out there, yes, and not one I’d personally use. But I know that people do have different naming styles, and if that’s yours, that’s okay. Though if you’re asking for a book, then it would probably work better. Some last names that you could use are:
Borealis Collat
Borealis Fraire
Borealis Marvin
Borealis Greyser
Borealis Carlson
Borealis Perlo
Borealis Garenne
Borealis Cavanaugh
Borealis Loveday
Borealis Gearin
Borealis Alford
Borealis Kahn
Borealis Dunne
Borealis Cohen
Borealis Bielby
Borealis Friedman
Borealis Veyne
Borealis Franco
Borealis Dolan
Borealis Pederson
---
Q: Do you prefer Tulip Jade, Tulip Faye, Ever Faye, or Ever Sage?
A: They’re all very sweet names, but I do have a soft spot for the name Ever. I think I’d pick Ever Sage, followed by Tulip Faye.
---
Q: Hi. Can you give me some first names for the middle names Hays, Anthony, Lake (boys) and Rae, Jean (girls)? Can be just a few!
A: I certainly can! Here are some ideas for you:
John Hays
Quentin Hays
Joseph Hays
Mark Hays
Martin Hays
William Hays
Daniel Hays
Andrew Hays
Riley Hays
Maxwell Hays
Trenton Hays
Logan Hays
Ryan Hays

Daniella Jean
Madeline Jean
Prairie Jean
Allura Jean
---
Q: Could you please do the name Akiva?
A: Sure thing. As with the other request, I can’t give an exact date that I’ll have the name up, but I’ll try my hardest to have it up this week.
---
Q: Do you think that Alessia Asensio is too much? Also would Mia and Alessia fit as sisters (not twins)?
A: It is a bit too much for me, with the names starting with the name letter, the -a ending with the A- beginning, ending in vowels and having the same amount of syllables. But I also think it depends where you are from, as this name might be completely normal to the standards of a non-English speaking country. So I think that should be taken into account. As for Mia and Alessia, I think they work very well.
---
Q: What middle names go with Nikolas?
A: Here are some ideas:
Nikolas Damon
Nikolas Kane
Nikolas James
Nikolas Hugo
Nikolas George
Nikolas Rigby
Nikolas William
Nikolas Christian
Nikolas Jacob
Nikolas Isaac
Nikolas Alexander
Nikolas Gabriel
Nikolas Beau

Nick Foles Says “Thank You” to Philadelphia in Players’ Tribune Article
Here it is, the Nick Foles Players’ Tribune article.
It’s simply titled “Thank You, Philly,” a letter from the Super Champion and soon-to-be Jaguar. It reads more like a something you’d read in the newspaper when a player leaves town, rather than a typical Players’ Tribune piece, which of course is fine, it’s just different. Kyle and I think Nick wrote this himself, or, at the very least, the ghostwriter didn’t change much of anything at all.
Foles explains why he came back to Philly as a free agent:
The reason that I signed ultimately wasn’t a football one.
It was that Tori and I were expecting our first child — our daughter, Lily. And as much as I admire the Eagles as a franchise….. I love Philadelphia as a city.
I realized that this was much more than an X’s-and-O’s decision. It was a decision about what city our daughter was going to spend her first years in, and have her first memories in, and call her hometown.
And there’s just something about it….. but my heart said Philly.
I’m pretty sure a piece of it always will.
Damn. Wow.
Nick then goes on to thank anybody and everybody, from the security dude to the janitors, after the jump:
I want to thank the entire Eagles organization — and when I say entire, I mean it sincerely. From Mr. Lurie, to Howie Roseman, to Coach Pederson, and everyone else who was so instrumental in bringing me back for a second run, and making it successful..…. but also to our trainers; our video crew; our equipment staff; our strength staff; Dom, our head of security; our janitors; our media relations team; our massage therapists; our chefs; our sports-science crew..…. I’m talking anyone and everyone who made it so special, on a daily basis, to head into work and put on the midnight green. (I even want to thank Chip Kelly for trading me in 2015. Without that challenge in my life, I wouldn’t be the player I am today.)
Shading Chip? Maybe, maybe not.
Either way, this is a mandatory read for Birds fans:
A letter to @Eagles fans, from @NickFoles.https://t.co/owbmqfp7it

Readers are not OK with the 'Newsweek’ balloon penis cover
Newsweek's new cover story is about sexual harassment, power, and women fighting back from a long history of systemic abuse. What better way to show this than with a woman's manicured hand poking a needle into an orange penis-shaped balloon on the cover of a national magazine?
SEE ALSO: #MeToo hashtag has spread to #YoTambien, أنا_كمان#, #QuellaVoltaChe
Yes, that's the actual cover image for Newsweek's new story, "How Donald Trump rules America's Garden of Dicks and sparked the #MeToo movement." Have a look:
New cover story: How Donald Trump rules America's Garden of Dicks and sparked the #MeToo movement https://t.co/yOwHK8O4Aq pic.twitter.com/cR9V6mAKJj
— Newsweek (@Newsweek) November 9, 2017
So far, the response to the cover has been strongly negative. The image is considered problematic, insensitive, and as Slate put it, "wrong." For survivors of sexual assault and harassment, this is an insult, minimizing the horror of predators' exploitative, disgusting behavior.
Like many said, the takedown of powerful men like producer Harvey Weinstein isn't about harming men's genitals.
Newsweek missed the mark. Also, just nope.
This is a terrible cover. Depicting women who say they were sexually assaulted as just wanting to hurt dude's dicks is insensitive
— Josselyn Berry (@joss_berry) November 9, 2017
What an absolutely horrible cover image. WTF, @Newsweek? https://t.co/v5KpvwHELS
— Opal O'Doy (@brightcardigans) November 9, 2017
So men's dicks are being deflated because they're being called out on sexually harassing and assaulting women? Oh, so sad for men's dicks that they can't be part of sexual abuse. That cover is fucking dumb.
— Jarvis (@arvistj) November 9, 2017
Terrible cover in so many ways. The painted nails, the popping of the inflated penis and the comic book styling. Bravo. You just turned exposure of sexual assault into satire. Recall this cover.
— LisaFromEarth (@LisaFromEarth) November 9, 2017
The. Worst. Cover. Ever. #tonedeaf
— chris pederson (@christina39ap) November 9, 2017
Thank you. This is a MAJOR ugh. Why does every attempt at female empowerment and safety-seeking get equated with castrating or otherwise "harming" men? Enough.
— Lily Burana 🗽 (@lilyburana) November 9, 2017
Hey @Newsweek your cover is all the NOPE https://t.co/lD4J0GaAGy
— ALLKAPPS (@srslyomg) November 9, 2017
Cancel this cover and delete your account and every issue of your magazine @Newsweek. https://t.co/KHi7xNmKj7

Not fake. Really. New Newsweek cover. pic.twitter.com/GU3CF6ONp2
— drstef (@drstef) November 9, 2017
