Zack Foster x Adopted LilSis! Reader

(Y/n) slept quietly on the back of her big brother Zack, he was walking through some woods and searching for a place to lay low. To his luck there was an old cabin just up ahead, the door opened with a creek and when he got inside, he saw that it was abandoned. Or at least temporarily out of use. Had he been able to read he'd see that they were cabins for the local campgrounds, it was currently closed because of some issues with zoning. Luckily, he did know how to turn on the electric, they were deep enough in the woods no one would see. Once the lights were on, he laid the little girl on a bed, it seemed that some thin covers and pillows had been left there. He was quick to lock the door and close the shades, taking extra precautions as he made sure the only light on was a lamp. He dropped onto the bed across from the girl, watching her as she slept. She had been in his care for 2 years; he had killed her parents and when going through their things searching for anything useful, he found her chained to a bed in the attic. She had such a sad look in her eyes, there was no fear. Something about it bothered him, he hated that look in her eyes.

So he took her, even though he wasn't sure why. He kept her away from the things he did, he was grateful she was so obedient and patient.  Sometimes he could make her smile a little, but something about it didn't drive him off the deep end. Her smile was pure, he could see the pain behind it but her smile was beautiful in its own way. It often brought him peace. He had never considered dropping her off, with the things he had seen and been through he wouldn't even consider it. She was his to protect, and he would make sure she was taken care of. He stood and moved over to her, careful not to wake her as he removed the backpack she wore and her shoes. The backpack was something he stole for her, he made sure it always had some kind of food and water. As well as an extra blanket for her, he could handle the cold.

"Zack?..." Her sleepy voice called out to him; he watched her beautiful (E/c) orbs crack open. Her small hand reaching for his, he let her take hold of it. "What is it (Y/n)? Bad dream?" She wasn't the kind to wake up screaming, but he often woke from his own sleep to find her cuddled close. He understood, he had nightmares as well. Having her close helped him to sleep better. "Yeah... Can you lay down with me?" Her voice was so soft, he cracked a grin and nodded. "Sure squirt." He kicked off his shoes, his scythe leaned against the wall by the bed. She was quick to make room, his lanky form getting comfortable when she snuggled into his side. He was glad she wasn't fussy; she was quick to fall asleep once more. He watched the ceiling a bit, he'd been sleeping decently enough he could sleep lightly and still feel fine. So, he closed his heterochromic eyes, falling into a gentle sleep. The warmth beside him keeping his body alert, so that should he have to Zack could cut his cat nap short. Though he was sure no one would find them, he didn't want to risk being separated. He'd kill everyone before he'd see her go to an orphanage.

He also does it across the room/house/dorm to get your attention.)

He looooves running his fingers through your hair or having you touch his. He might give you a few playful kisses or nips at your cheeks, lips, and neck.

If you have to get up, he’ll totally complain about it.

He’s SUCH a pouty baby about it. Don’t worry, he’ll get his revenge by surprise cuddling you later. Sometimes, if you’re asleep in bed, he’ll hover above you and wake you up while hanging upside down to freak you out, and while you’re distracted, tackle hug you.

And then keep you there for hours, once again. Quite a bit of your relationship is spent on cutesy, domestic things like this. Laying in bed all day on your off days, making meals for him while he’s stuck to you (do NOT let him help), cleaning together, shopping together, reading on opposite sides of the couch and looking up every ten minutes to smile at each other…

He’s a busy guy! As a student, Malleus’ caretaker, and more importantly, the boys’ parent, he’s got a lot on his plate, so he likes to spend as much downtime as he can with you.
