what we used to be | lX
Pairing: Eli Moskowitz x Fem!Reader
Summary: A victory party commences and you're noticing some red flags but maybe your love for Eli is enough to oversee it.
Warnings: Hawk being Hawk, bullying, kissing, swearing
Word Count: 2.2k
A/N: Season 2 has begun! I can't wait to write out the upcoming chapters cause I really think there's so much drama (and your girl loves drama)! Also would love to hear some feedback about this story! Send in an ask or comment!
Thank you to those who already reblog and comment, I see you and I love you all for it!
I don't consent to this work being copied, translated or reposted.
“So you might be wondering what a team does after they win the championship,” Aisha smiled into the camera. “The answer? Victor nachos!” She panned over the plate of nachos ordered for the table.
You cheered as you clinked your glasses together.
“It was supposed to be a round of drinks but the waitress was not feeling Hawk’s fake ID,” Aisha said.
Your eyes widened and you stifled a laugh at the look on Eli’s face.
“Hey, don’t talk about that, my parents follow you,” he whispered.
You chewed on your lip, suppressing a smile when Aisha apologized to his parents directly.
“No mercy, bitches,” she closed off before joining the three of you.
Now that the weekend was here, you went for a victory dinner with your friends. Demitri tagged along as well.
While you were still mad at Eli, you both haven’t spoken about the night of the tournament. You continued to text about anything else, but it was evident something was going on based on the space between the two of you and the fact that you hadn’t kissed since then.
“I gotta say, it’s kinda nice to be at a victory party,” Demitri grinned, pulling you from your thoughts, and grabbing a nacho from the plate.
A smile appeared on your face. Demitri wasn’t a part of Cobra Kai, so you were glad he was able to share this moment with you, even if your boyfriend disagreed.
“Yeah, except you had nothing to do with the victory,” Eli smirked, taking the nacho right out of his best friend’s hand.
“Well, I like to consider this a belated party for the coding competition we won at computer camp,” Demitri answered. “Remember?”
Your eyes lit up at the mention of that. It was a lonely two weeks for you, not having anyone to hang out with or talk to, but the moment they arrived back, you were so excited to hear their stories. Especially their song, which Demitri happened to be singing at the moment.
Aisha burst out in laughter at the corniness and you joined in, only because of the way Demitri started dancing.
“Hey, cool it with the nerd shit, huh?” Eli whispered to Demitri.
Your smile fell for a brief moment and you wondered what that was about. Sending a comforting glance at Demitri, you knew he was taken aback at the sudden outburst.
“Is Miguel around? His wings are getting cold,” you gestured to his food, deciding to focus on something else.
“He’s probably moping about Sam,” Aisha said.
“We should probably go check on him,” your boyfriend said.
You slid out of the booth so Eli could leave, and when you sat back down, you were met with a knowing look from Demitri.
“What’s going on with you?” He looked at you concerned.
“Is it that obvious?” You raised a brow, crossing your arms on the table.
“Seeing as I’ve known you the majority of my life, I will say yeah,” he blew out a breath, passing you a lopsided grin. “I also know you well enough to know it has something to do with Hawk,” he mocked your boyfriend’s nickname and with how you were feeling, you couldn’t help but let out a small laugh.
It died down quickly when your attention was focused back on what happened.
“You saw what he did to Robby,” you began, playing with your fingers. “Sensei taught us not to show mercy, but,” you ended the thought and shook your head, brows furrowed. “What happened to Eli?”
He sighed before taking a deep breath. “I’ve been asking myself the same thing,” he shrugged.
“Don’t get me wrong, I love his confidence,” you said. “But this is borderline psycho,” you pointed out. “And when did your guys’ theme song become lame?!” You exclaimed. “He’s changing more each day,” your voice fell solemn. “And now I’m not sure if I like it.”
“I know, it sucks but,” he paused, licking his lips. “Just take a breath,” he reassured, patting your hand gently. “Talk to him, I think he’d still listen to you.”
“Yeah,” you nodded. You pressed your lips together and you both stayed there, holding hands in comfort. When your boyfriend came back, his brows creased as he stared at your held hands. You sighed as you pulled away.
“What the hell’s going on?”
You took in a breath as you glanced at Demitri, his look telling you it was okay. “We need to talk,” you said, standing up from the booth.
His demeanor changed, worry filling him but he nodded, following you outside.
“What’s going on?” Eli asked, sitting next to you on the curb while you hugged yourself. He pulled you into his side.
You shut your eyes, welcoming it and finding comfort in his embrace.
“I don’t know,” you licked your lips. “You tell me,” you inhaled.
He sighed, maneuvering so you were facing the same way, his hand on your arm. “I’m not gonna apologize for what I did to Robby,” his voice was calm.
“I’ll forget about it for this reason, but I’m still waiting on my apology for what you said,” you stared down at your interlocked hands, running your thumb against his knuckles.
“I didn’t mean what you thought I meant, I wouldn’t hurt you, ever,” he brushed his lips over your forehead. “I’m sorry.”
“What about Demitri?”
“What about him?”
“Binary Brothers,” you said.
“I don’t like that nerd shit anymore,” he scoffed. “It’s loser talk.”
“They’re memories, who cares if you went to computer camp?”
“I care,” he stated.
“You don’t have to lose yourself completely,” you looked up at him. “You can still like computers and be badass.”
“You don’t understand,” he shook his head. “I can’t go back to that, to that life. Things are perfect right now and I can’t let anyone ruin it, not even Demitri,” he gulped.
Your face fell when you realized it before you reached up to cup his cheek.
“I understand,” you pressed your forehead against his. “More than you know,” you leaned in to kiss him. “You can be nicer to Demitri though,” you pulled away. “He’s your best friend.”
He didn’t respond, only looking out onto the street.
You followed his gaze and it went unspoken that things were good now.
~
You were talking to Aisha when the bell rang at the entrance. You smiled as you greeted your boyfriend, cupping the sides of his face and going in for a kiss. You were happy that things were okay, no more silent arguing or rough patches, and you could return to having a boyfriend.
“Hi, babe,” he greeted, hand on your waist.
“What the hell happened here?” Miguel asked, referring to the broken mirror and fire damage on the wall.
“Looks like Sensei threw a party,” Aisha shrugged.
You rested your hands on your belt as you listened.
“Must have been pretty sick if fire got involved,” Eli smirked, shrugging off his bag.
You hiked your shoulders up before the four of you made your way onto the mat.
The new students gathered inside, wondering what happened as well, their mummers were loud but were cut short as Sensei appeared, kicking them out.
“Everyone, fall in!” He instructed the class once everyone left. He walked over to the front of the class. He didn’t seem pleased even compared to his normal state of being intense.
“Must’ve been a rager, Sensei,” Eli said, smirking.
You raised a brow in amusement as Miguel continued.
“Were you celebrating all weekend?”
“Celebrating what? That my students are a bunch of pussies?” He asked, face filled with anger.
You furrowed your brows, unsure of what he meant.
“Diaz, Hawk, upfront,” he snapped his fingers.
The two boys glanced at each other, confusion written on their faces before they complied.
Sensei stalked behind them before he began. “Hawk. Did you attack your opponent when his back was turned?” He asked.
Eli raised a brow, glancing over his shoulder. Reluctance filled his features before he responded. “Yes, Sensei,” he said, swallowing down any hesitation and keeping a stern face on.
Sensei narrowed his gaze before moving to Miguel. “Diaz, did you purposely attack your opponent’s injury?”
“Yes, Sensei,” he responded with more assurance, but still he held that look of confusion.
“You think that makes you badass?” Sensei circled them, facing them.
Neither could answer.
“Miss Robinson! Miss L/N!” Sensei shouted.
“Yes, Sensei,” you both responded.
“Two cobras in the jungle. One kills the strongest lion, the other kills an injured monkey. Which cobra do you wanna be?”
“The one that kills the lion, Sensei,” you responded in union.
“And why is that?”
“Because it killed a stronger animal,” you said.
“Correct!” He yelled, conviction in his tone. “Cobra Kai is about being badass. And the baddest badass is when he beats his opponent when he’s at his strongest!” His voice raised. “Not when his back is turned!” He screamed directly in Eli’s face. “Not when he’s injured!” He did the same to Miguel. “Is that understood?” He turned to the class.
“Yes, Sensei!” You responded with the rest of the class, a crease between your brows as you looked at your boyfriend.
“That means no more cheating, no more fighting dirty, from here on out those are pussy moves and you don’t wanna be pussies.”
“No, Sensei!”
“Good, that’s why I had you wear your white belts, we’re starting over,” he stood in the middle of class. “Hawk, Diaz, fifty push-ups on your knuckles. Miss Robinson, Miss L/N, warm them up,” he pointed at the two boys before directing them towards you two.
You let out a breath before you followed Aisha to the front of the class. You nodded before you spoke. “Fighting position. Jab punch. Ready? Hiya!” You shouted, following through with the movement.
Adrenaline coursed through you as you directed the class alongside Aisha. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Eli and Miguel do push-ups. You couldn’t say you felt bad, part of you felt better knowing your Sensei didn’t agree with what went down either.
Only, you knew your boyfriend would feel differently, it was only a matter of time until you saw you were right.
~
After class, you were sent off with a homework assignment—watch Over the Top. That’s how you ended up in Eli’s basement with the rest of the dojo, the movie playing on the TV.
You were curled into Eli’s side, feet tucked under you as you both shared a bowl of popcorn. The movie was definitely unlike anyone you saw, but it was a good movie you guessed.
“Use a coaster, dipshit” Eli flicked a kernel at one of your friends.
You snickered, Eli smiled down at you before he settled.
The movie ended and Miguel was the last to leave.
Once the basement was cleaned up, you were about to leave but Eli had another idea.
“Come on, stay,” he stopped you from texting your dad to pick you up, a smile on his face. “We could watch a movie or something.”
Your eyes widened. “Mean Girls,” you stated.
He chuckled before grabbing the remote to put it on.
A few minutes later, the movie was playing but you were not watching. Somehow, Eli had managed to turn your attention to him and since then, his lips never left yours.
His hand was on the small of your back while you curled your hand around his neck, your other hand resting on his chest.
Since the weekend, all you and Eli have been doing was kissing. While you enjoyed it, you missed the moments where you kept each other company or even talked. That’s why you pulled away.
He chased after your lips but you stopped him.
“How about we watch the movie?” You asked, chewing on your lip. “We’ve been kissing non-stop and my lips need a break,” you chuckled.
He inhaled before passing you a smile. “Sure.”
You paid attention this time, watching as Cady met the Plastics. The movie went on, your arm thrown across Eli’s abdomen while your cheek rested in the crook of his shoulder. You glanced up at him momentarily to see if he was watching.
“Do you like this movie?” You asked.
“It’s interesting,” he shrugged. “The blonde chick’s pretty badass for the shit she does,” he answered. “But tell me how realistic it is,” he glanced down at you, an amused look plastered on his face.
“Wish I could tell you, but instead of playing Barbies with other girls I was stuck watching you and Demitri trade Pokémon cards,” you joked.
“Don’t remind me,” he sighed.
You furrowed your brows up at him. “Hey, seeing you get excited over getting Charizard for the first time was the moment I realized I liked you,” you stated, voice lightening at the memory.
He blinked at the realization. “You’ve liked me since then?” He looked at you.
You were left mouth agape. “I-uh,” you gulped. “Yeah, since then,” you smiled. “The nerdiness was cute,” you added.
Something flashed over him as his gaze dropped. “And now?”
“Your confidence,” you shrugged. “Your strength. I feel safe when I’m around you,” you said truthfully.
He smirked, reaching down to cup your jaw.
“I like you though, Eli, all of you. And you don’t have to be a certain way around me,” you stated, sitting up. “I love you,” you confessed.
His eyes lit up. “I love you too,” he said with conviction.
You beamed, reaching down to kiss him. You couldn’t believe you said it. But you were glad you did.

the kaylor formula
it’s all in the timing
all they keep askin' me is if i'm gonna be your bride
followed by this look?!
1. make sure that your wife gets papped somewhere far away from where you are - a day before or on the same day as your show
2. enjoy watching your wife perform in peace ✌️
delicate tonight - perfectly timed koincidence
also..
if this 👇 is how she proposes to juliet, well ehm embrace yourself for some unhinged gay for the rest of the night
sorry didn't make the rules - it's not my fault that her love makes her crazy and that she's so magnetic that it's almost obnoxious - i can’t unsee what i see
… endgame looks the whole fucking night included as well you're welcome
how in the world do you still look at each other like that after more than a decade!?
i think these are from last week but not sure rules applicable at any given time though
true true love 🧡

3. MASHUP MAROON WITH COWBOY LIKE ME

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true
taylooooooor! ☠️

your mind turned your life into folklore

in what world are you (my parents) still surprised
when your daughter (me) tells you that she might not be straight
when you’ve heard her listening to this song
on repeat in her room 😂
f*cking boomers 🤦♀️

DIARY / Dream Log #67 / 05 JUN 2025
I think the hardest drug I ever took was all of Taylor Swift's discography. Because there is no way this boy in my dreams is real. He sounds like fragments of her songs and I swear being a swiftie is finally turning my brain cells delulu.
He's my midnight folklore lover (pun completely intended)
See he's not the breakup songs, no he's the love songs. He's fearless, state of grace, hey stephen, and many others all wrapped in a box of mystery with a bow on too that I can't untie or cut loose.
Of course, I made him up, why else can't I see his face? He's not real, right? He can't be. Something that good in my life doesn't exist. What do I deserve from this kind of love? All I do is hurt the ones I love, so of course he's not real. I'm just delusional. Delusional and lonely as hell.
But at the same time…then why does everything feel like a memory?
[END NOTE]
You decided that you would spend your day at the Avengers Tower penthouse. You don't think you could handle Sam, Bucky, and Dr. Cho teasing you for beaming like an idiot and trying to squeeze it out of you. And you couldn't explain to them how you didn't stay put like you were supposed to. You wondered what they would say if they knew that you kissed him…twice. God forbid Morgan knew too? You would never hear the end of it for at least three months. It was your day off so you didn’t have to worry about random calls since Nika agreed to leave you alone for a while as a way to make up for almost ruining your kiss with Peter.
You could still feel his lips on yours like the ghost of him was left with you when your lips met.
You felt different after the kiss. Good different. You felt lighter like a weight was lifted off of your shoulders and you weren’t sure if it was from the kiss itself or something else. You just knew you were really happy.
You were looking at the timeline FRIDAY had made (and graciously made into the form of a spider web just to fuck with you) and sighed. You wish you could remember everything you were with Peter. It looked like it was lovely…what you guys had before. You wish you could make yourself remember but you couldn’t.
But things started to feel more familiar than before and you couldn't really explain it. After the first kiss, it was like your body remembered him. Kissing him felt familiar but foreign in a good way.
You knew Peter was the faceless boy in your dreams, with no doubt. Especially because he never denied it. You both would beat around the bush about confirming it with the fear of it hurting you even though you were the one to push for answers more than he was. Hell, you're the one who had to find him.
You eyed the timeline and took a deep breath. "FRIDAY, archive the timeline."
After that, you went to the music room where you kept all of your guitars. You were in the mood to play and sing your little happy heart out. You didn't have a lot of guitars but you did have a collection of them that you loved and cherished. You had the first one you ever got which was a regular wooden brown acoustic one that you practiced on all the time. It was filled with stickers on the back of it to give it personality. You still remember how painful your fingers would feel after four hours of practice every day. There was a black one that your dad got you after you mastered playing the first song that you were learning. It was your favorite one for a while until you got your red one. You remember being afraid of using it because you were worried that it would break in your hands. It was precious to you and you didn’t want to mess it up.
It was one of the ones Taylor Swift used on her Red tour.
It was a gift from your beloved Spidey for your birthday. He used his Spidey status and sent Taylor a letter asking if she could wish you a happy birthday. He didn’t expect a response from her, but a week later she did. After a conversation between your favorite hero and your favorite singer, you were met with a beautifully written birthday letter with tickets to her concert and a Polaroid picture of her and her three cats, a video of her singing Happy Birthday, and two signed red guitars, one electric and the other acoustic. The red electric guitar was hung on the wall in your bedroom with the Polaroid framed next to it. The acoustic one took you a week to even use. You remember crying with happiness on and off for three hours when you got it.
Apparently, without knowing, he had saved her once and she wanted to thank him in some way and he chose that to cash in.
You smiled as you picked it up and looked at it for a long, loving moment before turning to grab your notebook. You walked down the stairs and into the living room, plopped down on the couch, and set the guitar next to you as you opened your notebook. You flipped through the pages and looked at the notes, lyrics, doodles, scratched-out, aggressively circled, and underlined words, and tear stains that filled the pages.
The entire notebook was dedicated to him. The Faceless Boy. Peter Parker.
You don’t know why you bound so much of your emotions about him along the white pages and you couldn’t tell if it was a way to clear your mind or if it was a way to heal. Maybe both.
You decided that you were going to stop forcing yourself to remember him and just enjoy the time you’re spending with him and appreciate the new memories you’ll be making with him. One’s that hopefully won’t be erased from your mind this time. Will he ever tell you what even happened? Maybe not and you still hadn’t decided if you were okay with that, but in due time, hopefully, he will be honest with you.
You landed on a page that you remember fresh in your mind because you had only written one thing on the page, and it was three weeks ago when you wrote it.
A single thread ties me to you and yet not a single memory clicks. Are there clues I didn’t see?
It wasn’t the first time you wrote a poetic line in this notebook about the faceless boy, and it wasn’t the first time a poetic line became a fully fleshed-out song. And this moment of inspiration that you had didn’t make anything different. Maybe it was because you were still giddy from the night before.
So you grabbed a pen, picked up your guitar, and began writing and strumming your little heart out.
My sweet boy…
Those three words rang through Peter’s mind for the rest of the night until he fell asleep. And then he dreamt of all the times you called him that before.
He knew you didn’t remember him, that was clear. But something happened when you guys kissed. He knew you felt it because he felt it, and he felt you feel it. On top of that, you didn’t feel any pain from it. And then when you called him my sweet boy…
He nearly lost his mind.
So when Peter woke up, he felt determined. He made a decision that he should have made weeks ago. Really it should have been five years ago.
He was going to tell you everything. And nothing could and would stop him.
So he got up and got into the shower. He spent an ungodly amount of time in there trying to figure out what he was going to say and how to react to any of the possible reactions you would have. After that, he got out and forced himself to eat something before grabbing his backpack and pulling out from under his bed the suitcase full of the things he took from your room instead of telling you everything right then and there. He had his reasons, but he was beginning to second-guess them. He opened the suitcase to check and make sure everything was in there. When that was done, he set the stuff he was taking with him on the bed.
He put on his spider suit, the one you made for him all those years ago, and put his backpack over his shoulders. He made sure the suitcase was locked and secured so nothing would fall out. He thinks he would actually die if that happened. He picked it up and went to hurry out before he backtracked.
He glanced over at the silver spider necklace sitting on his end table.
He chewed his lip. He wants to give it to you so badly, but…he wanted it to be another special moment when he did give it back to you.
So he left it there and hurried out of the apartment window.
Once, he made it onto the roof of the building, he called you. But it went to voicemail. No doubt, you were taking a break from work today. So just to be sure he called your office number.
"Stark Industries," Nika chimed in a customer service voice.
"Hey, Nika. It's Peter,"
"Ah, Avenger Lover Boy,” Her voice went back to normal. “What can I do you for?"
He blushed under his mask at the nickname. "Is (Y/N) there today?"
"Yep, she's up in the penthouse-"
"Cool! I'll be there in like…fifteen minutes."
“Oh?” she asked with obvious cheekiness in her tone. “Making a grand gesture? You better be bringing flowers.”
“She doesn’t do bouquets,” Peter stated. “She prefers going to see the flowers in their natural state. Better for the environment in her eyes.”
Nika hummed in amusement. “You pay attention. Good. See you in a few.”
And with that, she hung up.
He swung from Queens to Manhattan as fast and as carefully as he could and even helped a few people along the way. When he arrived he walked straight into the Avenger’s building. He would’ve swung up to a window and climbed in, but he had no idea how security was and he didn’t wanna risk dropping anything from the highest building in New York City. Again, he thinks he would actually die if that happened. So he let his anxiety win and played it safe by going through the building like a normal person.
He hurried straight for the elevator and impatiently pressed the button as if that would make it come down faster. He tapped his foot on the ground in suspense and waved at different people who walked passed and greeted him. When the doors finally opened, he waited for the people to walk off before hurrying his way inside and aggressively clicking buttons again.
Before the door could close, a hand stopped it from doing so.
Peter looked to see Nika step inside and give him a straight-faced nod as she pressed the button for the door to close. She glanced at him without saying anything and then scanned her eye. There was a long silence as the elevator went up and it honestly made Peter uncomfortable.
“You know,” Nika started. “You’re bold for wearing that suit today after that kiss from yesterday.”
Peter looked at her, his mask showing that his eyes widened.
“I’ll make sure the top floor is on lockdown from anyone else.”
“Nika…” Peter replied as his face burned under his mask when he realized what she was implying.
“Relax, I’m messing with you,” she smirked at him. “You’re so tense right now. Lighten up, dude.”
He took a deep breath and shook it out a little. He was extremely tense. He was about to tell you everything that you should’ve been told years ago.
Once the elevator stopped, she spoke again.
"Good Luck, Peter Parker,” she smiled and walked off and gave him a salute.
"Th-thank you," Peter replied and the elevator closed again and went up.
He took another nervous breath. “Alright, Peter, you got this. No backing down.”
When the doors opened he hurried in to find you, but he stopped when he heard the sound of a guitar coming from the conference room. He stopped in his tracks when he realized that it was you playing your guitar. He slowly walked over to the staircase walked up quietly and kept his distance.
He stopped when he saw you, dressed in a pair of black joggers, a black fitted sleeveless crop top, and a long black cardigan that was falling off one shoulder. You had your stark specs on and you wiggled your bare toes and you strummed the red guitar that he recognized all too well. You were facing the window and he could see your reflection through it but he was just out of view to where you couldn’t see his. He smiled under his mask. He missed watching you play.
But the minute you started singing, his heart nearly stopped.
Green was the color of the grass
Where I used to read at Centennial Park
I used to think I would meet somebody there
Peter remembered when you told him that there were days when you would go to this park and read a book. Sometimes you still went when you needed to clear your mind. Although you were proud to be a Stark, it was a bit of a heavy thing to have on your shoulders at such a young age. So to get away from everything, you would take a book, go to Centennial Park, and escape into worlds that were different from yours. He remembered how you told him that you always hoped to meet eyes with somebody there and fall in love with them.
That’s not exactly how it happened with the two of you, but you always said it was better than your little fantasy.
Blue was the color of your shirt
When you were sixteen at the deli shop
You used to go when you had a little money
He recalled the first time you went to his place with Celina. You all had a project you were working on and he took you to Delmar’s deli shop to get some food.
Time, curious time
Gave me no compasses, gave me no signs
Were there clues I didn't see?
And isn't it just so pretty to think
All along there was some
Invisible string
Tying you to me?
Peter realized the song was about your memories of him in your dreams.
Bad was the blood of the vibes in the flight
On your trip to Germany
You ate at my favorite spot for dinner
Bold was the waitress on our three-day trip
Getting lunch in Saxony
She said I looked like an American sweetheart
He remembered that day. The first time you guys met as Spiderheroes.
Time, mystical time
Cuttin' me open, then healin' me fine
Are there clues I didn't see?
And isn't it just so pretty to think
All along there was some
Invisible string
Tying you to me?
He leaned against the wall and listened to you continue to sing.
A string that pulled me
Out of all the wrong arms right into the right heart
Something wrapped all of my past mistakes in barbed wire
Chains around my demons, wool to brave the seasons
One web of silk and gold tied me to you
Peter smiled as he listened to your melodic and poetic words.
Cold was the steel of my axe to grind
For the ones who broke my heart
Now I live life in the present.
Gold is the color of the leaves
When I'll show you around Centennial Park
Hell, what a journey but it brought me heaven
He looked forward to when you took him to your safe place. Again.
Time, wondrous time
Gave me the blues and then purple-pink skies
And it's cool, darling, with me
And isn't it just so pretty to think
All along there was some
Invisible string
Tying you to me?
You finished the song, let out a breath of relief, and drummed your nails on the guitar gently before setting it down next to you and picking up your notebook. Then you paused and Peter knew why. You sensed him and your eyes widened as you whipped your head around to look for him.
Now’s your chance, he thought, taking off his mask and walking into view.
"Peter…!" You chimed as you set down your notebook and got off the table. “I didn’t know you were coming.”
Peter pressed his lips together. Here goes nothing. Actually, it’s everything. "(Y/N)...I have something to tell you."
"Okay…" you responded gingerly as you crossed your arms over yourself with your brows pulled together with a concerned look on your face. You must have sensed his nervousness.
Peter walked over to the table throwing his backpack down and setting the suitcase on the table. He quickly fiddled with the latches, forced them open, and then turned it towards you. You looked at it to see a scrapbook, picture frames, polaroids, and other items that you recognized from…your dreams. Your eyes widened.
"Peter…?" You looked up at him wondrously.
"I know Ghost Stories is your favorite Coldplay album and Lover is your favorite Taylor Swift album.”
You looked at him confused.
“I know you can't get a night of proper sleep unless you drink a cup of tea mixed with milk and honey and you need something to hold while sleeping, specifically, Starky, your wolf plush that you named after your family and the Starks from Game of Thrones. I know your favorite character from Game of Thrones is Lyanna Stark because of the quote 'You saw her beauty but not the iron underneath' from the books and that's the meaning of the blue roses on your tattoo. You also asked Steve to help you with the drawing years ago.”
Your expression turned to shock as you kept looking at him frozen.
“I know that you hate messy spaces and people handing you things because your dad was the same way. I know that you have to pet every cat you come across and that you like dark content and media because it reminds you of who and what you're fighting for and you fear being so out of touch with reality because you're extremely privileged.”
You blink rapidly as you process what is happening at the moment.
“I know that you love playing the guitar and you write songs. It's like your diary where you can properly express yourself because you wish your life was a musical because you're secretly a theater nerd. And you love Hamilton and Six. And Disney movies. And you love listening to the SMASH soundtrack. It’s one of the things you were shy about telling anyone about.”
You press your lips together as your expression softened and your eyes glossed over.
“I know that you love movies and that you have a huge crush on Anakin Skywalker, which I always found concerning by the way. Like…everyone finds that concerning. Ned and I had a conversation about it yesterday. You also hate the recent Star Wars trilogy but you continue to hate-watch it with me because it's something that we did together and as long as we were together, you didn't care what we watched.”
You sniffled softly, listening to him go on.
“I know that you love cold weather because you love the feeling of it on your skin because it reminds you that you're alive and human. You love Edgar Allen Poe and Shakespeare because you love Shakespeare's humor and Poe's dark romanticism. And although you deeply despise magic you love a good fantasy novel. And your book boyfriends are Draco Malfoy and Aaron Warner. And I'm not getting any further into that because I should not be this jealous of fictional characters.”
You let out a choked laugh.
“You have sensory sensitivity so you hate loud noises, bright lights, and feeling things on your hands. And it only worsened when you gained these spider powers that we share.”
You nodded softly and put a hand over your mouth to keep in your sob that was threatening to escape.
“(Y/N),” He walked up to you and gently cradled your face as his own eyes glossed over. “ We….we were in love....deeply and truly and I...fucked it all up and I still don't know if I regret it or not because you have grown into this amazing and beautiful person that I am still in love with....deeply and truly. And five years is a long time I know but...I wanted you to live your life without having to worry about me and be able to focus on yourself.”
He chewed on his bottom lip for a second like he was deciding on his next words carefully.
“When your dad died ...I could tell that you would have been in a really dark place if I wasn't there to help distract you from it. And you know what? It was the same for me too. But we never really worked through it on our own. We became each other's distractions. And I wanted to come to you five years ago, but I made the impulsive decision to let you go so you could heal, grow, and explore life I know that's not a decision I should make for you and I'm so sorry, (Y/N/N), I'm so, so, so, so sorry-"
You couldn’t take it anymore and you grabbed his face and kissed him deeply and passionately before he could continue babbling. Peter froze a moment but then matched the energy of your kiss as his arms wrapped around your waist pulling you closer to him.
The kiss was much more desperate but just as passionate as the day before. And there was no one here to interrupt you. It was just the two of you and your passion running wild for each other.
Peter wouldn’t have it any other way.
You pulled back for a moment and he chased the kiss instinctively not wanting to part just yet. He looked at you with hooded eyes and you both catching your breath because you both forgot that breathing during a kiss is essential.
You smiled softly and leaned your forehead on his as said barely in a whisper. "You finally admit you’re the faceless boy,” you sniffled as you met his gaze. “Idiot. You could’ve told me sooner that you’re the guy in my dreams..."
“I’m sorry…” Peter blushed and gulped softly before asking, "Can I also be the guy in your reality?"
You giggled. “There you go flirting again.”
“And I’m still being serious,” he smirked softly.
You caught your bottom lip between your teeth as your smile grew. “About damn time you asked me.”
Peter smiled that charming smile you loved so much as he tasted your lips again and your senses continued to bloom within the both of you.
You had so many questions and Peter was expecting that. He was honest and didn't hide anything from you when you asked.
He started by explaining everything that happened and why nobody could remember him.
You repeated it back to him to clarify that you heard everything correctly.
"I'm not sure what pisses me off more, honestly."
"I think all of it pisses you off."
"You're right, it does. And you tried to get everyone to forget that you were Spiderman but you accidentally messed up Strange's spell and it caused a tear in the multiverse? And there were other Peter Parkers? And their villains were here? Wait, did you say Norman Osborn killed your Aunt May?!"
"Not our Norman Osborn," Peter explained. "Ours hasn't done anything yet. I've been keeping an eye on him."
You rubbed your temple and took a deep breath. "That's a lot to process. I think I hate magic again."
After that, he showed you all of the things in the suitcase. He started with the scrapbook that you both made together. It had a red cover and black pages that were filled with drawings, cute words, and pictures of the two of you. The front of it read "Our Story."
There was a tic tac toe game page that read "You Won My Heart" where you both were bored one day and played a game of tic tac toe. You put hearts over each winning line and taped it nicely into the scrapbook. There was another page that read "Our Soundtrack" with different songs written under it. The page was filled with music-themed doodles. Some pages marked your firsts and different highlighting events and you took it all in as you flipped through the pages.
Peter was leaning his head on your shoulder as he also looked at each page. He has looked over this scrapbook on his loneliest days and he memorized it front to back.
He half expected you to say something witty like "We're so cringe for this" or "This is so corny but I kinda love it" but you didn't. You were studying it with soft eyes as you ran your fingers over different parts of the pages and smiled softly. Sometimes you would ask a question about a certain page and Peter would answer.
You came across a page that read "Things I love about Peter" with a list.
"Hmm let's see if this still stands," you teased. "One, pretty smile: true. Two, genius: also true. Three, Kind-hearted: very true. Four, Short King: also very true and adorable. Five, nerdy and geeky: love that. Six, hair: agreed." You skimmed down the rest of the list. "Wow, you're literally my type."
Peter smiled smugly. "I know."
You giggled in response. "Confidence is sexy on you."
"I thought I was conceited?"
"It's different, you're my boyfriend now."
His heart fluttered at that.
"I mean, I'm no Aaron Warner or anything." He teased.
You rolled your eyes playfully.
"Let me explain something to you," you tapped his forehead. "What I like in fantasy and what I like IRL are two different things. In fantasy, I like the dark, brooding bad boys because they're written by women. They're meant to cater to my deep and dark desires personified into my fictionalized self. In real life, I like guys like you. The sweet-hearted cuties from the start." You smiled at him as he looked at you. "So don't worry yourself over men who don't exist. Especially Anakin Skywalker. The actor was just cute and I have a thing for masks."
"Trust me, I know."
You giggled softly and turned the page where it was a list called "Things I Love About (Y/N)". You paused and looked at it.
"Let's see if this still stands," Peter stated with a playful tone. "One, prettiest girl in the world: yep. Two, outspoken and not afraid to stand up to bullies: very true. Three, genius: also true. Four: hard exterior, soft interior: eh, you softened up. More approachable now. "
You snorted in response.
"Five, geek, weeb: still true. Six, talented: extremely true. Shall I keep going?"
You giggled. "You're making my teeth hurt."
"You have phenomenal dental health, you'll live."
You threw your head back and laughed before looking at him. He was looking at you lovingly. You pressed your lips together and looked at the scrapbook shyly.
"Thank you," you started. "For telling me everything."
You felt his presence closer to you and looked back at him to see his face inches away from yours. You met his gaze before he leaned in to kiss you deeply and you responded by kissing back and closing your eyes. His hand softly landed on your cheek and he could feel the warmth of your face and the feeling of love and something else through his senses. you set the scrapbook off to the side and moved yourself to sit facing him as you both deepened the kiss.
He pulls back after a moment.
"Sorry," he said lowly. "I…I just had to make sure that this is real…that you're real."
“I should be the one saying that,” you grinned. “I’ve been the one with dreams.”
“Touche.”
You giggled in response and kissed him again.
You both spent most of the day in and watching movies as you cuddled on the couch. You lent him a pair of joggers and a Joy Division band tee shirt to wear instead of him walking around in his spider suit. You guys ordered pizza and tacos and then went back to watching whatever you guys felt like watching. Peter was lying back on the couch while you were lying on top of him with your head on his chest and your legs entangled together. His hand would stroke your back lightly every once in a while and it lulled you to sleep a couple of times. That, and the sound of his heartbeat in your ears.
"(Y/N)," Peter called to you softly.
Your eyes fluttered open and noticed that the movie you guys were watching had ended. You looked up sleepily at Peter who was smiling down at you.
"Hm?" You hummed in question.
Cute, he thought. "I have to go patrol."
"Huh?" You asked and looked at the time. Five Thirty. "Jeez. I didn't realize…"
"It's okay," he kissed your forehead longingly for a moment and you closed your eyes at the feeling. "I can come back after."
You pout and then shove your face back into his firm chest. You didn't want him to leave.
"No."
Peter chuckled and wrapped his arms around you. "Okay, princess, no more pouting."
He knew pet names like that are your weakness. He could feel the heat of your face on his chest and he smirked.
"Princess," he sang.
"Stop," you whined into his chest shyly while the heat on your face widened which caused Peter to laugh softly.
"You know," Peter started. "You could come with me. People miss you, y'know. Silk and Spidey, Spidey and Silk. I get asked about you a lot."
You sighed and slowly sat up to where you were sitting in his lap. He wrapped his arms around you instinctively as you leaned your head on his shoulder "I…don't do that anymore."
You knew that people wondered what happened to some of the Avengers, and you were one of them that people often wondered about, especially since Spiderman was still out there protecting the little guy.
But one day you just stopped and people wondered what happened to the beloved spiderhero.
"I meant to ask,” Peter started as he looked at you. “Why did you stop?"
You looked at Peter and chewed your lip nervously. Many reasons made you hang up the suit but there were some that really caused you to stop. And you really didn’t want to talk about it.
"Well, for one, I wanted to help Pepper raise Morgan. Two, I have to focus on the company. And Three," you closed your eyes as you thought of the chapter in your life that you never wanted to speak of ever again. "I…made some big mistakes. I…hurt people in…so many different ways and I just don't see myself as a hero anymore because of it. When I was needed most, I let everyone around me down.” You took another deep sigh. ”Not much of a hero thing to do."
Flashes of the past enter into your mind and Peter could feel the guilt, pain, and fear of your senses stirring within him. It was strong and he didn't like it. Something told him there was more to the story but he didn't want to pry. Instead, he kissed your forehead comfortingly.
"Sometimes even the greatest of heroes make the biggest of mistakes."
"I doubt that," you replied. “I kind of like…really fucked up.”
“The fact that you feel guilty about it shows that you aren’t a bad person,” he began. "Do you remember when you first got your powers and what the first thing you did was?"
You remember that day clearly like it happened yesterday.
"I saved a van full of women and girls from getting kidnapped."
"Yeah,” Peter smiled. “ Still in your ballet outfit. Bright pink with your makeshift mouth mask that you quickly made out of your extra pair of leggings.”
You looked up at him.
“It went viral on YouTube and TikTok,” he continued. “You didn't hesitate a second."
You looked at your hands and played with your fingers.
Peter kept going. "You said in your expo speech. With great power comes great responsibility.
"My dad told me that when I was little," you replied with a small smile. “‘Where there is great power there is great responsibility, where there is less power there is less responsibility, and where there is no power there can, I think, be no responsibility’ said by Winston Churchill. And ‘the more privilege you have, the more opportunity you have. The more opportunity you have, the more responsibility you have said by Noam Chomsky,” You raised your hands and looked at your fingertips, where your webs come from. “He told me to focus on the line that resonated with me the most and it was ‘with great power comes great responsibility’ and I’ve tried to live my life by that ever since.”
Ah, Pete thought as he ran a hand through his curls. “Aunt May told me that exact same thing moments before she died."
You looked at him vaguely remembering him telling you that once before. A vague memory flashed in your mind of you holding a crying Spiderman in your arms alongside Ned, MJ, and Celina in the pouring rain. The memory brought a frown to your face.
"When you have this power and then the bad things happen, then it's on us. You knew that immediately. Whether it stemmed from a hero complex or whatever, doesn’t matter. You understood that you had a responsibility. I had to learn it the hard way. And it cost my Uncle Ben’s life."
You looked up at him sadly and a bit of shock in your expression. You felt the guilt and sadness flowing through him.
He continued.
"You're a hero, (Y/N), even when you think you aren't good enough to be one,” he leaned his forehead on yours. “And you'll always be a hero to me."
Your heart swelled at his words and you pressed your lips together. “You always know the right things to say.”
“And I mean every word.”
You smiled and pecked his lips softly and he pecked yours back before you removed yourself from his lap so he could get up.
“Thank you,” you smiled. “I’ll be waiting here for you when you get back.”
He nodded in response. “Okay.”
He got up, got changed, and walked out onto the launched pad for when your dad would put on the Iron suit. You walked out with him as you wrapped your cardigan around your shoulders.
He turned and looked back at you with his mask in his hands. His eyes glistened in the sunset as the wind danced through his curls softly. He smiled softly at you.
“See you later?”
“Mhm,” you responded with a smirk. “Actually show up on time this time, yeah? Because if I have to go looking for you again after another five years I’ll-”
“Kick my ass into another dimension?”
You squint your eyes at him suspiciously. “Yeah…”
“You told me that before,” He said with a chuckle. “Five years ago, Statue of Liberty, moments before…the memory blip, as you call it. But I kissed the words out of your mouth.”
You scoffed and crossed your arms over yourself. “Maybe I should act on it.”
“Maybe you should,” Peter teased and put his mask on. “You gotta catch me first.”
“You’re just trying to get me to patrol with you.”
“Maybe,” he sang. “Maybe not. You’ll have to get it out of me.”
“Goodbye, Peter Parker,” you laughed. “Go, before a bank gets robbed or something.”
“Wow, trying to get rid of me? A bit ago you were begging me not to go. I didn’t take you for the wishy-washy type but hey a lot can happen in five years.”
Your jaw dropped in total shock. “You know what-” You began to speed walk towards him with a playful smirk. “Come here, Smartass!”
He laughed as you chased him around the platform before he ran towards the edge and you stopped in front of him slightly out of breath. He lifted his mask to reveal the bottom half of his face and he kissed your cheek and your face burned once again like it had been doing all day.
“I’ll come back on time, I promise.”
“You better,” you smiled at him. “Now go be a hero.”
He smiled back at you. “And you continue being mine.”
Your face softened as your heart beamed and he turned and jumped off the platform and swung across the city.

What Taylor Swift songs do you think would be the LOC boy’s favorites?
Do I dare mix my black metal interests and Taylor Swift? I would like to remind everyone before I answer
Some of these are songs I think fit them and some are songs I think they'd enjoy. :)
(I also know the ask said boys, but I threw in Ann-Marit too <3)
Varg // The 1
And if you wanted me, you really should've showed. And if you never bleed, you're never gonna grow.
But we were something, don't you think so? Roaring 20s, tossing pennies in the pool. And if my wishes came true, it would've been you. In my defense, I have none for never leaving well enough alone, but it would've been fun if you would've been the one.
I guess you never know, never know, and it's another day waking up alone.
I persist and resist the temptation to ask you if one thing had been different, would everything be different today? We were something, don't you think so? Rosé flowing with your chosen family and it would've been sweet if it could've been me.
In my defense, I have none for digging up the grave another time. But it would've been fun if you would've been the one.
Pelle // I Can Do It With A Broken Heart
They said, "babe, you gotta fake it 'til you make it" and I did. Lights, camera, bitch smile, even when you wanna die.
Breaking down, I hit the floor. All the pieces of me shattered as the crowd was chanting, "more!"
I was grinning like I'm winning, I was hitting my marks 'cause I can do it with a broken heart. I'm so depressed, I act like it's my birthday every day. I cry a lot, but I am so productive, it's an art.
You know you're good when you can even do it with a broken heart.
Blackthorn // Hey Stephen
Hey Stephen, I know looks can be deceiving, but I know I saw a light in you. And as we walked, we would talk and I didn't say half the things I wanted to.
Hey Stephen, I've been holding back this feeling, so I've got some things to say to you. I've seen it all, so I thought, but I never seen nobody shine the way you do.
The way you walk, way you talk, way you say my name. It's beautiful, wonderful, don't you ever change. Hey Stephen, why are people always leaving? I think you and I should stay the same.
They're dimming the street lights, you're perfect for me. Why aren't you here tonight?
I'm waiting alone now, so come on and come out, and pull me near. Hey Stephen, I could give you fifty reasons why I should be the one you choose. All those other girls, well, they're beautiful. But would they write a song for you?
I can't help if you look like an angel, can't help it if I wanna kiss you in the rain. Come feel this magic I've been feeling since I met you. Can't help it if there's no one else, can't help myself.
Faust // All Too Well
Oh, your sweet disposition and my wide-eyed gaze. We're singing in the car, getting lost upstate. Autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place and I can picture it after all these days.
'Cause there we are again on that little town street, you almost ran the red 'cause you were looking over at me. 'Cause there we are again in the middle of the night, we're dancing around the kitchen in the refrigerator light.
And maybe we got lost in translation, maybe I asked for too much. But maybe this thing was a masterpiece 'til you tore it all up. Running scared, I was there, I remember it all too well.
I'd like to be my old self again, but I'm still trying to find it. After plaid shirt days and nights when you made me your own.
Now you mail back my things and I walk home alone, but you keep my old scarf from that very first week 'cause it reminds you of innocence and it smells like me.
You can't get rid of it 'cause you remember it all too well.
Occultus // Lover
This is our place, we make the rules. And there's a dazzling haze, a mysterious way about you, dear. Have I known you twenty seconds or twenty years?
We could let our friends crash in the living room. This is our place, we make the call. And I'm highly suspicious that everyone who sees you wants you. I've loved you three summers now, honey, but I want 'em all.
With every guitar string scar on my hand, I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover.
My heart's been borrowed and yours has been blue, all's well that ends well to end up with you. Swear to be overdramatic and true to my lover. And you'll save all your dirtiest jokes for me and at every table, I'll save you a seat.
Can I go where you go? Can we always be this close forever and ever? Take me out and take me home. You're my, my, my, my lover.
Øystein // Back To December
We small talk, work and the weather. Your guard is up and I know why. Because the last time you saw me is still burned in the back of your mind. You gave me roses and I left them there to die.
This is me swallowing my pride, standing in front of you saying I'm sorry for that night.
It turns out freedom ain't nothing but missing you, wishing I'd realized what I had when you were mine.
Then I think about summer, all the beautiful times. I watched you laughing from the passenger's side and realized I loved you in the fall. And then the cold came, the dark days, when fear crept into my mind.
You gave me all your love and all I gave you was goodbye. And you held me in your arms that September night, the first time you ever saw me cry. Maybe this is wishful thinking, probably mindless dreaming. But if we loved again, I swear I'd love you right.
I'd go back in time and change it, but I can't. So if the chain is on your door, I understand.
And I go back to December. I'd go back to December, turn around and make it alright. I'd go back to December, turn around and change my own mind. I go back to December all the time.
Manheim // Tolerate It
I sit and watch you reading with your head low, I wake and watch you breathing with your eyes closed. I sit and watch you, and notice everything you do or don't do.
Lay the table with the fancy shit and watch you tolerate it. If it's all in my head, tell me now. Tell me I've got it wrong somehow. I know my love should be celebrated, but you tolerate it.
While you were out building other worlds, where was I? Where's that man who'd throw blankets over my barbed wire? I made you my temple, my mural, my sky.
Now, I'm begging for footnotes in the story of your life, drawing hearts in the byline. Always taking up too much space or time, you assume I'm fine, but what would you do if I break free and leave us in ruins?
Took this dagger in me and removed it, gain the weight of you then lose it. Believe me, I could do it.
Metalion // Sweeter Than Fiction
Seen you lost in a crowd, seen your colors fade. Wish I could make it better, someday you won't remember this pain you thought would last forever and ever.
There you'll stand, ten feet tall. I will say, "I knew it all along." Just a shot in the dark, all you got are your shattered hopes. They never saw it coming, you hit the ground running and now you're onto something.
Proved me right when you proved them wrong and in this perfect weather, it's like we don't remember the rain we thought would last forever and ever.
There you'll stand, next to me. I'll be one of the many saying, All at once, the rest is history. "look at you now, look at you know." I'll be one of the many saying, "you made us proud, you made us proud."
And when they call your name and they put your picture in a frame, you know that I'll be there time and again. 'Cause I loved you when you hit the ground, only sound that you heard was "no."
Attila // State Of Grace
I'm walking fast through the traffic lights, busy streets and busy lives. And all we know is touch and go, we are alone with our changing minds. We fall in love 'til it hurts or bleeds or fades in time.
And I never saw you coming.
Now all we know is don't let go. We are alone, just you and me. Up in your room and our slates are clean. Just twin fire signs, four blue eyes.
So, you were never a saint and I've loved in shades of wrong. We learn to live with the pain. Mosaic broken hearts, but this love is brave and wild. This love is a state of grace, this is the worthwhile fight.
Love is a ruthless game unless you play it good and right, these are the hands of fate. You're my Achilles heel, this is the golden age of something good and right and real.
Fenriz // Cruel Summer
Fever dream high in the quiet of the night, you know that I caught it. Killing me slow, out the window. I'll always be waiting for you to be waiting below.
Devils roll the dice, angels roll their eyes, what doesn't kill me makes me want you more. You say that we'll just screw it up in these trying times, we're not trying.
So cut the headlights, summer's a knife. I'm always waiting for you just to cut to the bone. Devils roll the dice, angels roll their eyes and if I bleed, you'll be the last to know.
I'm drunk in the back of the car and I cried like a baby coming home from the bar. And I snuck in through the garden gate every night that summer just to seal my fate.
And I screamed for whatever it's worth, "I love you!" Ain't that the worst thing you ever heard? He looks up grinning like a devil.
It's new, the shape of your body. It's blue, the feeling I've got. And it's a cruel summer. It's cool, that's what I tell 'em. No rules in breakable heaven, but it's a cruel summer with you.
Necrobutcher // Red
Loving him is like driving a new Maserati down a dead end street. Faster than the wind, passionate as sin, ending so suddenly.
Loving him is like trying to change your mind once you're already flying through the free fall. Like the colors in autumn, so bright, just before they lose it all.
Losing him was blue like I'd never known. Missing him was dark gray, all alone. Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met. But loving him was red.
Regretting him was like wishing you never found out that love could be that strong. Remembering him comes in flashbacks and echoes, tell myself it's time now, gotta let go.
But moving on from him is impossible when I still see it all in my head, in burning red.
Hellhammer // Marjorie
Never be so kind, you forget to be clever. Never be so clever, you forget to be kind. And if I didn't know better, I'd think you were talking to me now. If I didn't know better, I'd think you were still around.
What died didn't stay dead, you're alive in my head.
Never be so polite, you forget your power. And if I didn't know better, I'd think you were listening to me now. The autumn chill that wakes me up, you loved the amber skies so much.
Long limbs and frozen swims, you'd always go past where our feet could touch and I complained the whole way there. The car ride back and up the stairs, I should've asked you questions.
I should've asked you how to be, asked you to write it down for me. Should've kept every grocery store receipt 'cause every scrap of you would be taken from me. All your closets of backlogged dreams and how you left them all to me.
Ann-Marit // You're On Your Own Kid
It's okay, we're the best of friends. I hear it in your voice, you're smoking with your boys. I didn't choose this town, I dream of getting out. There's just one who could make me stay.
From sprinkler splashes to fireplace ashes, I waited ages to see you there. You're on your own, kid. You always have been.
I picked the petals, he loves me not. Something different bloomed, writing in my room. I play my songs in the parking lot, I'll run away.
I called a taxi to take me there, I search the party of better bodies just to learn that my dreams aren't rare. I gave my blood, sweat, and tears for this.
My friends from home don't know what to say. I looked around in a blood-soaked gown and I saw something they can't take away 'cause there were pages turned with the bridges burned. Everything you lose is a step you take.
Varg (bad bitch era) // Look What You Made Me Do
(Side note: he feels soooo badass with this song.)
I don't like your little games, don't like your tilted stage. The role you made me play of the fool. I don't like your perfect crime, how you laugh when you lie. No, I don't like you.
But I got smarter, I got harder in the nick of time. I got a list of names and yours is in red underlined. I check it once then I check it twice.
I don't like your kingdom keys, they once belonged to me. You asked me for a place to sleep, locked me out and threw a feast.
The world moves on, another day another drama, but not for me. Not for me, all I think about is karma. And then the world moves on, but one thing's for sure; maybe I got mine, but you'll all get yours.
I don't trust nobody and nobody trusts me, I'll be the actress starring in your bad dreams. I'm sorry, the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, 'cause she's dead.
#i'm already so “cringy” to the other black metal fans#but i love taylor so much#good question anon <3 /gen#asks#anon#leaving this untagged because loc people can't behave sometimes lol

Hey. same person who told you which A3! VAs can rap, again. TY for the Hisoka B-day translation. It was interesting. Though this is NOT a grammar correction, but when I saw the kanji 夜空 in 1 of the images, I thought the literal translation is “night sky” instead of “starry sky” where the kanji for that is “星空.”
In TWST, the next SSR New Year cards are Trey & Rook w/ Jade & Ortho as the SR New Year cards. Too bad this year will be the Year of the Dragon. Also, I did remember that when Kalim & Deuce were the New Year cards, it made me think of the A3! song “Yume Senri” sung by Citron’s & Azuma’s VAs. For Sebek’s New Year card, the TeamB New Year’s song “雷神” would fit, & for Vil’s New Year card, TeamC’s New Year song “紅に白” would fit. After seeing that Rook is the next New Year card, it made me think that TeamP’s New Year song would fit that card.
Speaking of TeamP’s New Year song, TeamP will do the New Year event where all the TeamP singers will sing the song “閃光の果て,” where according to the PV, it might be based on a battle on old Asian boats on the water where the TeamP members (except Maica who’s holding a temari ball, but PLEASE DON’T CALL HIM A GIRL WHEN SEEING HIS CARD) are holding a bow & arrow (though Nekome is holding a bunch of arrows). Also the BLACKSTAR songs released in the New Year events in order are TeamB’s “雷神,” TeamW’s “Shooooout!!!,” TeamC’s “紅に白,” TeamK’s “百花の咲駆,” & now TeamP’s “閃光の果て.” Though in another note, the results for the Christmas event were that TeamK won with TeamK giving the guests the champagne tower, but in the end, Ran & Sotetsu traded their information to each other. Also, TeamC did an end of the year performance w/ a TeamC special menu where the feat. dish is temari sushi which fits TeamC’s individual but harmonious teamwork (kinda like A3!’s Winter Troupe mature adult vibe) & gorgeous Asian motif style (not to mention, Mokuren is a big eater & sometimes wants to try different flavors in big portions, but Zakuro still prefers to eat inari sushi, hence the seasonal Zakuro 4★ waiter card holding temari sushi with the tofu skin for inari sushi on top).
Also, I want to wish you a Happy New Year & Happy Birthday to ParaLive’s Zen & TWST’s Lilia on New Year’s day, to BLACKSTAR’s Yoshino on 1/05, to HypMic’s Jakurai on 1/09, to B-Project’s Nome on 1/11, to A3!’s Guy on 1/13, to ParaLive’s Itsuki on 1/15, & to TWST’s Malleus on 1/18!
Hello there. You're so right about that word. I honestly don't remember why I put starry sky instead of night sky. I just changed it, thank you for pointing out.
Oh, the chance to have Malleus for the New Year event in the Year of the Dragon is gone... Also, I love your song list for the New Year characters in TWST. They fit so well.
Ooh, I love their costume style for this set. Thanks for the full list of the New Year songs, I was wondering about them when you mentioned some in the TWST part. Congrats to Team K for the win.
January BDs! I forgot Jakurai's BD date. I thought it was the 5 for some reason. Anyways, it's so close!!

Hi! I hope you had a very merry Christmas! I think you said you celebrate it. Did you do anything for the holidays or get presents? don't worry..it wasn't late or anything. I just couldn't reply until now. Oh that sucks..I hope you recover in time for the new year.🩷
I think it's already happened with some songs on Fearless cuz she didn't have her accent as much. I agree with Hey Stephen and a few other songs. I realized that I never asked you how you felt about the changes in the Better than Revenge rerecording. Overall I understand the change, and the new lyrics make sense, but still prefer the original lyrics lol. I love her accent too but I never could really tell if it was completely fake or not but her baby voice is cute.
I think if the cuts make sense, I won't really mind but it's not like it's my favorite musical either. The trailer came on yesterday and I told them it was a musical and they said it as a musical will ruin it so I do wonder how regular non theater people will feel about it overall. They always hate or make fun of musicals though and it will make it cheesy or something since my family quotes the original movie all the time. So I feel like the quotes don't translate in the musical as much, and even if Legally Blonde was a little different, the changes made sense of improved it in some way. I listened to the Megan song too and just felt it didn't add much either. I don't know if i will watch it yet, but I've already missed Wonka and Color Purple for this week so I will see if I can watch it this next week. I will probably watch Dicks at some point too, so I'm glad your friend liked it.
I love White Christmas even if it doesn't feel as Christmasy as other Christmas movies. I just finally watched the movie version of Holiday Inn last night, but was familiar with the musical. I also love both! I also count Rent for musicals lol. But mostly I prefer ones where the family is getting ready for or around Christmas like Elf, National Lampoons, and A Christmas Story, and Surviving Christmas. I also have a few new ones I still wanna watch for this year. I was going to send you an ask saying December 24th 9PM Eastern standard time...but then I remembered you've never seen Rent! My sister and I were trying to think of New Year's resolutions in song lyrics and my sister said that from here on in, I shoot without a script..instead of my old shit..would be a good one for me lol. We always try to do a Taylor one too so I'm thinking either Karma or You're on your own kid..make friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it..you've got no reason to be afraid and I'm gonna try to remember that throughout the year and try new things maybe. I remember I used I got harder smarter in the nick of time..I rose up from the dead..I do all the time as one when rep came out. I mostly just think it's fun, so if you wanna try to think of one, you can.
I finally listened to the Fruitcake EP and I agree..it was so good! All of the songs were mostly different, which is kinda fun. I think it would be hard to think of different types of Christmas songs, but she did such a good job. New years yet might be my favorite or at least the one I can remember the most. What do you think your version of a Christmas song would be? I guess I never asked you if you are musical at all or if you play any instruments. I don't actually, but I do like to sing and sometimes make up songs. That question is just for fun though so no pressure, and I don't really have an answer either.
I think I only read 3 or 4 full books this year. One was the stepping off place that I finished back in January, and that was definitely my favorite. I know I've talked about it already, but I really loved it so much. The other was Mistakes were made which was fine. I just found out the same author has another book out soon and I think I would be interested in reading it, cuz I enjoyed her writing. What about you? The last one was The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Do you still plan on reading or watching the movie? I'm still in the middle of a few including Business or Pleasure I hoped to finish by the end of year but I still have like 50 pages. I also skimmed most of Our Year of Maybes. I enjoyed parts of all these but didn't love them. I hope to change my reading habits for next year and definitely finish more..we will see my progress by the end of January. There were a lot of months I didn't read at all, so I'm hoping to change that too. Omg I wish you would have told me you were continuing your Night Circus reread! I could have tried to read a bit more. I just assumed you were taking a break like me lol. I want you to know if you don't finish your Les Mis reread it's also okay..don't stress.
Oh I didn't know you haven't seen them but I actually didn't watch the Office until like 5 years ago. I grew up watching Friends and quote it all the time though! Idk if you mean you just never watched the whole show or that you didn't know it at all. Parks and Recreation is another one of my favs..similar to the Office. I also love Schitt's Creek! But the humor is just different from back then, cuz it's newer. and New Girl is another newer one which is kinda more similar to Friends. Of course How I met your mother is the most similar to Friends...but I prefer Friends the most. I got a Friends calendar for Christmas actually, and also a Taylor one. Cristin Miloti was the mother in that show and was also played the original Girl from Once on Broadway, and I guess I forgot to mention that in my last ask. I knew the Guy actor from another show too, which is Shameless. I think Once was before the shows technically, but I knew them from it by the time I got into Broadway. That version of Falling Slowly just seems different from the movie somehow but I still like it. I would recommend Begin Again cuz I liked some songs.
I loved that dream cuz she gave me some earrings. I only remember three or four titles. But it seemed like the length of a full album cuz a group of four of us were reading off the titles and it was like three each or something. Name someone I love, something to take, watch me, kiss some other person. Possibly fireworks but idk. Some of the titles made me think of a new album but some make me think of rep lol. I wish I remembered more. But it is almost impossible to envision her new album and like I said, I'm sure the titles are way off anyway. I always like knowing song titles and wondering or guessing what a song will be like though. Anyway I hope you feel better! Try to rest as much as you can and hopefully relax the next few days. Sending well wishes for your Wednesday and the rest of your week!
hello friend!! hope you had a lovely holiday + a wonderful new year, if i don't talk to you before then! i do celebrate it! it was a very quiet, lowkey christmas, since i still have the plague but it was very lovely! how was your christmas? do you have any fun new year plans?
my favorite present that i got is a pink scarf that my mom got me — it's super cozy and just so cute!! which, i think by now, is no surprise, since i am A Pink Girl at my core! one of my friends got me a raccoon themed christmas gift, which i also loved — including a raccoon oodie, a raccoon jellycat, and of course, toto got his own raccoon animal too!
with better than revenge, i definitely understand why she changed the lyrics, and i'm glad she was able to create a version of better than revenge she was proud of! i definitely still on instinct sing the old lyrics, but i don't think i particularly prefer one over the other, just that i'm more used to the old ones!
one of my family friends hates musicals and she got tricked into taking her kid (the 15 year old who i affectionately call my younger sister) to wonka and didn't realize wonka was a musical, which was funny! the text i got when she realized did make me chuckle, i'm not going to lie. i haven't watched any of those movies — nor have i watched the eras tour from home! i have it rented, but i just haven't been feeling well enough to sit through a three hour movie unfortunately. but i'm starting to feel a little better so hopefully i'll have time to watch that soon!
i love the holiday inn musical — i think it's so fun! fun fact, the first time i watched the holiday inn movie was at a holiday inn. i went to florida on a work trip in 2019, and my flight home got cancelled and the airlines put me in a holiday inn for the night so i figured it'd be the perfect time to watch holiday inn (even though it was summer) because i liked the musical! i definitely know the rent december 24 9pm reference and usually participate in it on twitter but forgot this year :( it made me feel like a bad theatre kid haha!
i love the idea of doing resolutions in song! i finally wrote out my reading goals for my book blog earlier, but haven't completely finalized my personal resolutions yet. i think the YOYOK one is so good! some other ones i thought of:
innocent — minds change like the weather/ i hope you remember today is never too late to be brand new
starlight — look at you, worrying too much about things you can’t change / you’ll spend your whole life singing the blues if you keep thinking that way
august — to live for the hope of it all
they're not as good as you're on your own kid though, and i'm sure i'm missing something super obvious!
i think fruitcake's EP is so fun and different! like upbeat and a bit sexy and just so fun! it's something i can see myself listening to year-round. i played the piano as a kid (i don't remember a thing now) and took a semester of guitar in high school (was not good at it), but am not musical anymore! sometimes i think about picking something up again, just for fun, but i think i prefer being arts and crafty over being musical. i think if i had to do a christmas song though, it'd probably be something a little more melancholy and slower — kind of how phoebe bridgers' christmas songs sound, i think. what about you?
i still plan on reading tbosas and watching it! but i did not get to reading the hunger games at all this month. but at some point i will do that and then we can discuss 🤍 i did end up finishing the night circus (the original plan was that i'd mail it out this week for book club, but given the plague, i'm pushing it off to next week), and also les mis (although i would not recommend reading the first 50% over the span of 3 months and then reading the last half of it in the span of a week). i think i'm done reading for the rest of the year and am excited for a little bit of a break! and then i think i'll go back to the starless sea in january!
i did watch parks and rec! i've only seen it once, but i watched it in college with one of my friends who said i was very leslie in terms of drive/organization/etc. it's funny you brought once up, because i was listening to once on vinyl today — it's such a good show. i love it so much! there are a lot of shows (friends, HIMYM, gilmore girls) that i think i would've loved if i had watched it when it was first airing, but i've been spoiled on every platform for so many things that i don't think i'd find it fun now! also i am so much worse at watching tv now than i was when i was in school, for some reason!!
that sounds like such a fun dream! i don't usually remember my dreams (but i also have a hard time sleeping so there's that)! do you think ts11 will have a more pop sound? or do you think it'll be something else? i keep seeing clown theories on twitter about new year's day (taylor's version) or a rep announcement on new year's day ... what do you think?
also!! i got your other ask about music! i think i need to do another listen through of the albums before i can pick favorites, so i will save the ask for when i get a chance to do that and then get back to you!!
hope you're doing well, my friend!! 🤍

i checked your music
it's what i can only check now,
i tell myself,
if you still listen
then you're okey
and i NEED to know you're okey
and i wonder
who do you think about now, when you listen to the songs of Ray Dalton or Ariana Grande?
and who do you think about when you play the piano or ukelele?
and what is it with Vivaldi and Pachelbel?
and i miss those times
you tell me what to listen to
because a song reminds you of me...
i remember "Soul Sister" ... and how we laugh when i call you soul brother
i remember "Rewrite the Stars" and i hoped we could rewrite the stars... i remember you telling me, maybe we are already rewriting the stars... maybe that time we did
i love "Just the Two of Us" too... and "Halo" and "Remember us this Way"
and you sent me a recording of you singing in your kitchen preparing for your breakfast-- you sang "O Pare ko" right? Am I right?
i remember the happiness
the kilig
Pi was a fun place to go to when a thought of you comes to my mind... but that too... i lost
i remember the last song we both love --- "Golden Hour"... how i listened to that millions of times
i cannot listen to it again
maybe, soon,
when i feel better about us-not-us-anymore, maybe i can listen to the songs we had on Pi before
now, i listen to lily williams--- "what if i still miss you in a year... or two?" ... and ed sheeran and taylor swift... and this sad/frustrating/funny song "Somebody that I used to know"
i see myself in that song... and i feel like screaming at it --- hey! you think pain is easy? if she cut you off, it's not because of you, it's because of the pain she's going through...
I have a playlist with 6 songs only all lily williams and ed sheeran songs...
i do miss you
and love you still
but it doesn't matter
i remember how i loved missing you and telling you "i miss you"--- that was a beautiful longing...
now, it's a fight between myself and the universe... i don't want to miss you anymore...
tomorrow is 14th here and i promise, to celebrate our goodbye, because i have survived the 3-4 months... we were only together for a little while, but i think, it's you, i'll be writing about for a long time, maybe forever...
i have written so much about wanting forget, about letting go, about moving on... about my anger and pain... and jealousy...
i remember one time, i did something in my reality, and you laughed and called me "brat"-- why did i think that was sweet?
i love you
still
and i always say that when i wake up, before i sleep, and when i look at the sky and the moon and the stars
you told me, you loved me more
but no, i loved you more
i won
in this aching contest of loving
this time i still love you...
and i hope time will come
i can just laugh at my silliness...
i remember how it feels to be loved the way i loved, the same intensity, the same craziness
i remember telling you i'm scared i might love you so much... and you said "just love me..." and now even after the end... i cannot stop
i cannot stop yet
i remember us listing our commonalities in the love shack... we wrote, "we kept falling in love"... and look at us now...
you moved on, stopped loving, found new loves
while i
love you still
-i beg for heavens grace
to help me find a
way out
quietly
without pain

⠀‣ Venti
The wind was spreading joy throughout Mondstadt at its Creator's return, the land more beautiful than ever, and its people celebrating carefreely the one they loved.
But on this pretty day, Venti was left alone back in the same old place, drinking wine to celebrate the occasion, while all of Teyvat sang together with you, so why didn't he? His tune was wordless, as he didn't know what to sing, he should be able to write the most wonderful story, he was the best bard in all in Mondstadt after all and he waited for this moment for so long. But, nothing came out of his mouth. He remembered the feeling of you, like the wind guiding him wherever you wanted to, he could sing a thousand songs throughout this journey, on everyone he met, the battles he fought, beautiful sceneries, your presence that blessed his body...but this memory now brushed past him like a breeze.
"I miss going on adventures with you."
He laughed awkwardly, it wasn't the moment to mourn, his lyre, people and you were waiting for him. And he knew you were a free spirit, at some point you would want to go outside, and he would be there to be at your side again, maybe not the next day, or next week, that was alright, he could wait another few centuries for you.
⠀‣ Xiao
For centuries he looked after Liyue, never left his post as he promised to Rex Lapis, at who he owned his life and more, the pain he suffered but endured for years was still flooding in his veins, reminding him of the death of his companions, until he became yours, showing him the world outside of his contract and what it meant to be free, his karmic debt tamed by your presence, feeling at peace with his sins, craving for the attention of someone when he never minded solitude. But now, he was back to his post, protecting Liyue, the pain came back and it hurt him just like the first day, he wasn't used to it anymore. You were busy, finally meeting the people who needed you, it would be selfish to keep you for its own benefits.
"I miss going on adventures with you." He murmured in the night, secretly hoping his words would be heard in the silence of the usually busy city.
You didn't need him anymore, but he would always be here, protecting you in your shadow. He wouldn't let anything or anyone hurt the God he cherished. You could call out his name whenever you needed him, your voice would always stand out the most.

Aim For The Heart | Chapter 1: At First Sight
Pairing: hitman!jk x female reader
Genre: E2L, romance, angst, drama
WC: 4.5k
Warnings for this chapter: alcohol consumption, language, stalking kind of? I think that's all lol. Pls let me know if there is anything else I should put.
tag list; @teresaisla @hopekookies @moonchild1 @barbellastyles98 @ggukkieland @mwitsmejk @yukiehyukie
summary; Jeon Jungkook is an infamous hitman, known for his inability to fail at whatever job is thrown his way. At least, up until now. Y/n, a kind-hearted and full of life teacher, is his newest target. Jeon isn't sure who would put a hit on this seemingly innocent girl, but fortunately, that isn't his problem. All he has to do is pull the trigger.
Previous › Next
A bright smile graces your features as you tuck the little star-shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches into a tiny container, just barely getting two of them to fit as you squish them down a tad bit in order to get the lid clipped on.
Then you grab a little tangerine and a cheese stick to drop into your lunch bag along with the sandwiches, counting the number of items aloud to yourself as they make themselves at home and then you zip it all up.
"Th-There we go!" You lift your lunch for the day in triumph.
Your phone startles you when it starts to ring, then you grapple in your purse to find it. You pull it out and answer right before the last ring.
"Hello?"
"Hey, girl! Are you ready to go? I'm downstairs." The voice of your best friend comes through the phone and you look at the clock on your microwave. You stare at the little black screen, confused as to why the time isn't showing up before remembering that you were never able to figure out how to display the clock when you bought the microwave three years ago. So, you hold your phone out to look at the time.
6:32
"Oh geez! I didn't r-realize the time. I'll be d-down in a minute, k?" You say, earning a lighthearted laugh from the girl on the other end.
"Take your time, hun. I'm not in any rush."
You thank her quickly and hang up, then you run to your room to grab your favorite pink cardigan and throw it on over your white shirt. As you're hurrying out and grabbing your lunch, you stumble and knock your knee into an open lower cabinet that you had forgotten to close the previous night after pulling a pan from it to make dinner.
"Ouch!" You hiss in pain and rub the sore spot, although it does nothing to ease the ache. Then you grab your purse and run outside, almost forgetting to lock the door. But you remember just in time and clumsily lock it before rushing down the stairs leading to the parking lot of your apartment complex.
Your best friend, Mina, is laughing. You can see her through the windshield as she waves to you. Lifting a hand to wave back, you don't realize in time that your arms are full. You drop your lunchbox and have to crouch to get it again, only taking up even more of your time.
But Mina finds it hilarious and tells you so as soon as you slide into the car and fumble with your seatbelt to get it buckled.
"Honestly, ___. I can't believe you're still single. If I wasn't straight as a board, I'd be head over heels for you and all your shenanigans." She states in a matter-of-fact tone as she pulls out of the parking spot.
A blush creeps up your neck and you try to laugh it off, "D-Don't be silly." You whisper, turning your gaze outside to look at the fluffy white clouds decorating the sky beautifully. You smile and lean your forehead against the glass as you imagine lying on a soft cloud, just drifting in the air.
"If you c-could go anywhere at all, where would y-you go?" You ask Mina suddenly, turning to her. Her eyes are focused on the road but she bites her lip in thought at your question. "Mm, probably Italy. What about you?" She's used to your sudden questions and ramblings, so she smiles when you start to go off.
"I'd wanna go up in the c-clouds. I wanna sit on one and maybe even see a r-rainbow up close! I wonder if I could slide down the rainbow..." Your brows furrow in deep thought. "Or would I f-fall?" You turn to her again and she glances over to see your signature puppy dog eyes that you use when you are either confused, upset, or want something.
Mina turns back to the road, a tiny ache in her heart that she hides with a bright smile, "Girl, you would ride that rainbow straight down into a pot of gold!"
"Really?" Your eyes widen and you feel your heart lift at the image.
She nods and you giggle happily, "You can come w-with me, Mina." You say confidently, your gaze turning back to the sky. "We can sleep in the clouds and slide down rainbows for the rest of f-forever."
"Sounds like a deal."
By the time Mina pulls up to the school, you've discussed everything you'd do up in the clouds and what you'd eat when you're hungry (stardust, you've decided, is the best meal anyone could eat.)
You unbuckle and gather your things. Then you remember something and turn back to Mina, "Oh yeah. W-When are you leaving on your business trip?" You ask a tinge of sadness in your voice.
"This weekend," Mina says solemnly. "I'm sorry I won't be able to drive you for a while. I'll be gone for a month this time."
That makes your heart sting but you manage a small smile, "D-Don't worry about me. I can walk! I'm gonna m-miss you though."
"I'll miss you too, buttercup. We'll hang out this Friday night before I leave the next day. How about that?" Mina asks kindly.
You nod enthusiastically and she smiles, "Ok, get your butt in there before you're late! The bell rings in half an hour and you can't be late on a Monday." She urges you and you nod, hopping out of the car and thanking her again for the ride, reassuring her that you'll walk home from work today.
You blow her a kiss and she laughs as you turn and hurry into the school.
You're all set up only a few minutes before the kids are supposed to arrive, so you go onto Pinterest and look through your fairytale boards, feeling a little spark of joy in your chest.
A couple of minutes later, the kids start streaming through the door, greeting you with the same amount of enthusiasm as you greet them. Your kiddos love you so much that all the other teachers are jealous and they let you know it every day. Of course, you have the sweetest kindergarteners and they're always the best for you.
"Hello, Teacher! Good morning Miss ___! Teacher, look at my new haircut!"
"Hi, Jina! Hello M-Minhhyuk! Kun, your new haircut l-looks so good!" All the kids have bright smiles on their faces by the time they've settled in their seats.
You always start the day off by getting everyone to stand and do a few stretches, then you sing the nursery rhymes you learned yesterday and start learning a new one. You honestly have as much fun as the kids during the school day.
"Ok, l-little ducklings, have a seat!" You get their attention and they immediately oblige. Next, is the alphabet that you guys have been working on since the beginning of the year. Every little one sings it perfectly all the way through and you give them a round of applause and they each get a little punch in their reward cards.
The rest of the day goes by smoothly, with only one temper tantrum thrown and that was resolved quickly.
It's nearing the end of the school day and the kids are all playing during their free time. You're sitting with Ae-Cha, a small and fairly quiet girl, playing with colorful blocks; the both of you competing to see who can build the highest tower. You've learned that she responds well to playing games when there isn't too much talking involved.
You're constantly glancing around the room to make sure everyone is safe and playing nicely and you're always pleased. They've all improved so much since the beginning of school back in September. It's June now and they've all learned their alphabet and how to play nicely with their new friends, along with so many other things. They've really made you so proud this year. You can even hear them reciting the alphabet and nursery rhymes to each other as they play.
Your heart warms at the sound of tiny voices filling the room as they sing. Then you glance at the clock and realize the bell will be ringing in a few minutes. So, you declare Ae-Cha the winner with her foot-high tower of blocks and she beams proudly. Then, you get up and clap three times, "One, two, th-three! Eyes on me!" You singsong, then smile when the kids immediately respond by clapping twice and shouting "One, two! Eyes on you!"
"G-Great attention today, everyone! Alright, the bell will ring soon. Who can tell me w-what that means? What are we doing n-now?" A few little hands go up and you point to the little boy that raised his first, "Yes, Joon Woo?"
"We...Uhm...time to clean up toys...Uhm..." You smile to encourage him and he finishes cutely, "Time uh, to clean up our toys and pack bags."
"Yes! Thank you, Joon Woo. It is t-time for us to clean up and make sure our bags are packed up and ready for h-home!"
The kids start to pick up their toys as you put on the cleaning song that you play every day for them. You all sing along until the room is all tidied and their bags are packed with their homework papers.
You always give them little mazes to do for homework to get their little brains to learn to concentrate, along with instructions on what to draw to show the class the next day. Today, their homework is an extremely easy maze, a coloring page with the alphabet and instructions to draw themselves doing their favorite activity. The kids always love drawing pictures and sharing them with the class and it's a good ice breaker for the shy ones at the beginning of the day.
You always have less and easier homework for the kids on Mondays and Fridays, it just seems fair to you that way. You also feel like it's good for kids to express themselves and be able to share what they like and dislike. You've found drawing helps with communication and creativity for the kids in your class.
The sound of the bell ringing makes a few of you jump, then you hurry to the door. "Alright, ducklings! T-Time to line up!" A few of the kids make quacking sounds as they line up, giggling and talking to their friends.
You smile and open up the door, holding it as the kids walk out in a straight line, some of them still quacking like little ducks.
You lead the kids to the front of the school and make sure they get into the correct line for the bus if they take it. You wave goodbye to them as the kids that take the bus climb on and they run to a window to wave back to you.
The rest of the kids that are left are soon picked up by their parents or siblings. You wave to Ae-Cha, the last student to be picked up. She smiles shyly and waves back before hurrying after her big sister.
After that, you go back to your classroom and finish a few things before packing up to go home. As you're leaving your classroom, you run into one of the other teachers coming from his own room.
"Oh, h-hello Mr. B-Baek!" You bow, missing the ugly sneer on his face as you smile brightly at him. He pushes his glasses further up his nose as he scrutinizes you with his beady little eyes. "You don't belong here, Miss ___." He snaps.
You look at him in confusion, "I-I'm sorry, I don't understand."
"I've waited the entire school year to say this to you. But now that we are nearing the end, I think you should know that you have no business being a teacher at this school. You ought to make the right decision to discontinue your work here." Mr. Baek watches your face fall with a sick sense of satisfaction.
"B-But, why?" You ask, still not understanding.
"First of all, you're inexperienced. You just got out of college last year, am I right?"
You nod uncertainly.
"You're still a child. Why should a twenty-two-year-old girl come marching in here and take a spot that should have been given to someone with more experience? And especially someone like you." He glares at you before turning on his heel and walking away briskly.
Someone like me? What does he mean by that?
You watch after him, feeling a tiny pinch in your chest. You aren't sure what he means, but whatever he's talking about, it sounds like he believes you shouldn't have become a teacher at all. At this school or another. You'll have to ask Mina later because you really have no idea where his rant came from.
Is there something wrong with you becoming a teacher?
You shake your head and laugh it off, "He's probably just had a bad day." You tell yourself as you make your way out of the school.
As you walk home, you sing quietly along with the song in your headphones, a little skip to your step.
You never notice the dark figure across the street, his eyes trained on your every move.
One day earlier...
Jungkook groans as he tosses and turns in bed, searching for his phone to turn the alarm off. He finally finds it and hits dismiss, tossing the phone back down and rubbing his eyes with a tired yawn.
After another minute he sits up and looks out the window, frowning at the sun seeping in and pooling across his floor in a golden river. He stares at a small bird that lands on his windowsill until it flies away.
Jungkook yawns again and reaches up to rub his eyes for the second time. After a few minutes, he's finally able to drag himself out of bed and into the shower. He almost falls asleep again in there, but he manages to make it out after half an hour.
With a towel wrapped around his waist, he makes his way to the kitchen and grabs a bottle of soju that's sitting on his tiny dining table to take a small swig from, finishing off what he'd left last night after his third bottle right before he passed out in bed.
He sighs and grabs a bagel, searching for the cream cheese he swears he saw in his fridge last night. A small smile appears on his lips when he finds it. He snatches it and makes sloppy work of spreading it on his bagel before tossing the leftover trash onto his counter and plopping onto the couch, snarfing down the first half of his bagel in thirty seconds.
Jungkook sighs through his nose as he tiredly chews his breakfast, then he glances down and sees the file he'd left open on his coffee table last night. He swallows the bite he has in his mouth and leans forward to read over it.
Y/L/N Y/N...
Why is that name so familiar?
He shakes his head and flips the file closed, then he leans back on the couch, wanting to spend his Sunday relaxing before he has to get to work on this case. He isn't going to think about it again until tonight.
Jungkook settles down and lays his head on the back of the couch, closing his eyes and breathing deeply.
He won't think about it.
Jungkook lays there for a minute, then he opens his eyes and lifts his head, glaring at the closed file on the little table.
He grunts in annoyance and drops the other half of his bagel onto the table, grabbing the file angrily and sitting back again. He opens it and starts to reread everything he's read many times since Friday. There's just something that has felt off since he met with Mr. Ling, but he can't put his finger on what it is.
Jungkook squints at the name he's read a thousand times.
Y/L/N...Y/N...
"Ugh." He rolls his eyes, frustrated at not being able to remember where he's heard that name before. Then he looks at the occupation.
Teacher at Sunshine Kindergarten.
His brows furrow again, much like they have each time he's read this. He's never had a hit on a teacher before, let alone a Kindergarten teacher. That's such an odd target...
Most of his targets in the past have been sleazy business owners, rapists, leaders of gangs that have terrorized neighborhoods for years, even other hitmen. He's never had a problem with those jobs, but there's something about this one that's telling him to be careful.
Maybe it's because he knows nothing about his client, except for the large sum of money he must have due to the pay he's been promised. Other clients of his were more than happy to explain why they wanted him to do what he does. They never paid him until after the job was done, either.
That leads Jungkook to believe that this guy (or girl) is desperate for his services, convincing him to do it with payment before and after. Almost as if Jungkook would refuse after he found out who the target was...
Jungkook flips the page and scrutinizes the picture of the target.
She's very simple looking, Jungkook thinks. The girl in the picture is wearing a white flowy skirt with a blue blouse that covers her whole arms and white chunky tennis shoes. Her hair is in a low ponytail and it seems like she has headphones in as she walks down the street. There's a tiny smile on her face as if she's thinking about something that makes her happy.
Jungkook doesn't find her particularly beautiful, but she isn't ugly either. She's just very...
Simple...
Jungkook shakes his head, his eyes going over the photo and the girl's smile one more time. Maybe she's a double agent? Or a part of the mafia disguising herself as a school teacher?
He can't figure it out.
It doesn't matter much though, the job seems simple enough and the pay is more than he's ever gotten. After looking through everything once more, Jungkook closes the file and grabs his bagel, quickly eating it before getting up to get dressed for the day.
That night, Jungkook lays out his outfit for the next day.
It's all black, but not suspicious-looking. After all these years, he's been able to design the perfect outfits to avoid attention being drawn to him and simple enough so that no one would think much of him if he were to catch anyone's attention.
It might seem simple, but he prides himself on being able to get each part of his job perfectly designed for each case he gets.
Heaven knows it's taken him years to accomplish.
After he's gotten that all figured out, he walks over to his closet and pulls out a small safe. Setting it on the bed, he swiftly unlocks it and looks inside. He pulls out a few things, examining each of them before he sets them one by one onto his bed. Once he's got the items all laid out, he steps back to look it all over.
"I should wait to decide..." Jungkook mumbles to himself. After a minute of staring at everything, he nods and gathers it all up, carefully putting it back into the safe and locking it tightly. Then he brings it back to his closet and shoves it into the darkest corner where it lives.
That can wait.
He pulls his phone out and checks the time.
11:45
"Damn it," Jungkook mutters. He had wanted to get some sleep earlier tonight since he would have to be awake early tomorrow.
He changes into some shorts, then he yanks his shirt off and immediately climbs into bed, not even bothering to shower or brush his teeth. He really couldn't care less with how tired he is. And he hasn't even started yet.
His alarm blares at an ungodly hour as Jungkook groans loudly, resisting the temptation to chuck his phone across the room.
"I hate Mondays." He mutters angrily, setting his phone back on the nightstand far from gracefully.
He miserably drags himself out of bed and into the shower, going through his morning motions almost like a robot. His brain isn't fully awake and it's just on autopilot right now.
An hour later, he's just finishing his coffee, his eyes no longer squinting in exhaustion. Jungkook unceremoniously drops his coffee cup into the sink, promising himself he'll clean it up later, then he sighs as he grabs his black boots, walking to the couch to sit and pull them on. After he's done lacing them up, he grabs the file he's been avoiding like the plague since yesterday morning.
He mutters to himself, looking at the name on the page.
"I know that name."
Then he smacks his forehead to get himself to focus again. He stands up and folds the page with the girl's information and then her picture and tucks them into the inside pocket of his black jacket.
Time to get to work.
Jungkook spots the girl almost instantly, the second she steps out of a black car. He glances at the driver, but can only see a person with shoulder length black hair waving. The girl from the picture has a bunch of things in her arms as she blows a kiss to the short-haired driver.
Jungkook has been here since six-thirty in the morning and just as he was beginning to think she called in sick for work, he's finally gotten a chance to see this girl in person. She looks exactly as he remembers from her picture...plain.
She's even wearing the same white skirt and chunky tennis shoes, although this time she has a different top. Her hair is in a high ponytail this time.
"Well, ___. Nice to meet you." Jungkook mutters, watching closely.
After a moment, the black car drives away as the girl scurries into the school, tripping on the last step before straightening herself out again, then disappearing from his sight.
Huh.
Jungkook stares at the door for another minute, then he makes his way to the stores nearby, knowing he's gonna have to wait until the girl leaves. School for the young kids typically gets out at around three-thirty. So, he'll have to be back here around then.
He's definitely going to need to find something to do to kill time.
Jungkook heaves a sigh of relief when he hears the school bell finally ring.
He hurries from the clothes store he was browsing and down the street a block until he's almost across the street from the school. He finds a good spot where he can sift through some newspapers at a little stand and still have an eye on the school.
After a minute, he sees a long line of tiny children coming out from the school. The girl is with them and smiling brightly. Jungkook thinks he can hear some of the kids quacking like ducks. He tries not to look puzzled as he goes back to talking to the person working the paper stand. Jungkook makes small talk with the old man, still keeping an eye on the girl across the street as she waves to each child that leaves.
If she's some mafia boss disguised as a kindergarten teacher, she's one hell of a good actress.
"Do you have a girlfriend?" The old man inquires curiously.
Jungkook laughs softly and shakes his head, "No. I've been so busy with my work I never got the chance to date."
The man nods knowingly. They chat a bit more and Jungkook finds himself trying to balance talking to the man and watching the girl.
"Well, did you want to buy a paper for the day?"
Jungkook turns his gaze back to the old man and nods, "Yes. Two, please. My neighbor would probably enjoy one as well."
The old man laughs and nods, taking the money Jungkook hands him and giving him two papers, "What a kind young man you are. Someday you'll find a lovely young lady, don't you worry, son. You will realize that work is important, but love is even more so."
Jungkook just laughs and thanks the man, then he opens the paper as he slowly starts walking, pretending to read.
He stops at a bench and sits down to wait. The girl went back into the school a few minutes ago, hopefully, she won't be in there long.
Luck seems to be with him today, because, after only about five minutes, Jungkook sees a familiar white skirt flowing as she skips down the steps of the school.
He folds his paper carefully, tucking it into his back pocket. The girl puts little earbuds in and immediately starts to mouth the words of whatever song she's listening to. Jungkook tugs his black baseball cap down a little more as he follows on the other side of the street.
The girl has a bag decorated with cupcakes and cookies that bounces up and down as she dances a little.
What is she, twelve?
Jungkook watches in confusion as the girl stops to pet a dog, giggling when the puppy licks her hand. She straightens up, then after another minute, she seems to get distracted by something else.
Jungkook looks carefully and notices she's picked up a flower that was laying on the ground, seemingly trampled on. She gently holds it in her hands as she continues on her way. It goes on like this for the next fifteen minutes, the girl waving to people and smiling almost the whole way.
By the time she is walking up the steps to her apartment, Jungkook is dying to just get back home. That must have been the longest most annoying walk he's ever taken while tracking someone. The girl had stopped over twenty times, distracted by something else each time, he's sure of it.
Just to be sure, Jungkook lingers around the apartment building a little longer, but when it seems apparent that the girl is going to be staying there, he finally heads home.
Geez, Jungkook thinks in annoyance as he climbs the stairs that lead to his own apartment. His head is spinning with so many questions while he unlocks his door and yanks his boots off with a groan.
But when he plops down onto his bed in his tiny studio apartment, he just stares at the ceiling, his mind suddenly blank apart from one question.
Who in the hell would put a hit on this girl?

To The End (Epilogue)
Pairing: Dilf !Damon Albarn x Reader
Warnings: Language.
Summary: You are Damon Albarn's wife. A few years later your children grew up, and you're a proud mom. You finally made it To The End
Words: 1036
A/N: Dear you all, here is the epilogue of our fic. Yes, it's the end... Yeah I'm crying too. But don't worry, some juicy stories are coming ! Dilf Damon Fan fic is in current writing, I'll publish the first chapter on next Saturday. This Saturday, Three smuts are coming. Each are a Valentine's Day with 90's Damon or 90's Liam or 90's Noel. You'll have a triple gift ! Thank you all for your support, I can't wait to publish the rest of my stories for you !
"Well, you and I Collapsed in love And it looks like we might have made it Yes, it Looks like we've made it to the end"
2017-O2 Arena-London:
- Where the fuck did your father go? I said
My look alike 12 years old blond son looked at me. Yes. This time, Damon and I had a son.
He was born in December 2005, and we did the exact same thing than for Mina.
The boy had my last name, but we both chose his name: Simon.
Our daughter was a copy of her father, and Simon looked like me.
You’re probably wondering how we did to raise him. We kept the same rhythm, Tuesdays and Fridays.
Except this time, Damon was here when I gave birth to our son.
We were really happy, and secretly married for 12 years.
- I don’t know mam, probably cheering Mina up a bit.
After all, the O2 Arena as a first, it wasn’t a little thing.
- You’re right. And I have to say that your uncle Noel has too much influence on you.
- Oh, and why so?
- You call me mam, it’s a Mancunian term for mama.
- I know, I just like it. I heard Sonny and Don call Sara like this.
- I still am so happy of your sister doing Gorillaz's first part and singing a song with your dad and Noel.
- I always knew she was so talented and would get there. Did dad help her?
- Just a little bit, but she did the rest by herself. She’s a hard worker you know? But hey, Sim, don’t forget you have a lot of talent too in acting. Just like your dad but he just forgot about this. And I’m sure you’ll get there one day too. Believe in yourself son. But don’t become a cocky bastard like your dad was in the nineties.
- I’ll remember that. He said
Damon and Mina headed out of her trailer. Our beautiful daughter was now 19 years old and was an accomplished pianist and singer. But this night was her first big scene, and she was totally panicked.
- It’ll be fine Minnie, I promise. Your mom, brother, Missy and I will be just next to the stage. I f you ever feel you are going to panic again, just look at us, okay? Now take a deep breath and spread your wings my love, you can do this.
Mina followed her dad words.
- See ya later Daddy, mama, Sim.
She went on stage, sat at Damon’s piano and started playing.
- She had a panic attack. I never heard her swear that much. When you think she was the one telling us to watch our language when she was a little girl... Damon told me
- Yes, children grow up, and things change. And if she's afraid that’s perfectly normal. There’s a big bunch of people.
- But she’s gonna make it, I’m sure about that.
- Hey! Sorry I’m late! Hello Y/N, hello Sim! Missy said
- Hi Missy! Simon answered
What was surprising was the fact that some people in the crowd were already fans and were singing along with Mina. Missy included.
- You know her songs by heart? I asked
- Of course! Mina is like my sister, she’s my best friend, I’m her N°1 fan!
- We are! Simon said
- Of course you are too! Missy answered squeezing his cheeks
Sometimes I thought that deep down, Missy understood that Mina was actually her sister, and that Simon was her brother. She behaved like they were actually, understanding she had a second family with us.
- Okay, since some of you know the lyrics to my songs… I’m going to introduce to you the man that made this possible, and some of you will come on stage to sing with us. Oh and there will also be the man who made me discover music. Sorry dad, it’s not you. Please welcome Damon Albarn and on the guitar my dear uncle Noel Gallagher!
- Good luck Damon. Simon and I said
Damon went on stage and hugged Mina tightly telling her in her ear he was proud of her.
On the other side, Noel arrived with sunglasses on and with his guitar.
I know they worked a lot on this song. It’s a precious one for Mina. They invited fans to come on stage to sing with them, Mina sometimes sharing the microphone with them.
After this, she sang a few more songs and at the very last song…
- Actually, there’s a last person I want to introduce before going and leaving the stage to Gorillaz if Damon let me?
- Go on! He said in a microphone
- Thank you man. This person gave life to me. She always listened to me and to who I was. When I was four, I asked her to take piano lessons, and she let me. At 6, I asked to also take singing classes, and she found the best mentor for me. Yes, it’s Damon. I always told her I wanted to do things my way until I would feel ready to go on stage and meet all of you. Before being my producer, she’s at first the most important woman in my life and my model.
Mina approached the curtain I was hidden behind.
- Mama, take my hand and join me.
I blushed but did it. She directed me on stage, where all the people, so many people welcomed me with applauses.
- This woman ladies and gentlemen is my dear mama and she’s an incredible woman.
I kissed her on the cheek.
- I’m so proud of you my girl. I whispered in her ear when she was hugging me.
I saw her smile and she held my hand. I could see the tattoo on her arm, a tribute to her father and I, a tribute to our strange but stable family. Simon decided he would do exactly the same when we’ll let him. A tribute with a story behind, a story about them.
On her arm, I could read these three words: To The End.

My Heart, Your Hands - A Jake Kiszka Fic
A/N: So I'm going to be adding parts to this and I'm honestly excited to see where it'll go! I've had this idea for a while and I'm finally writing in down. This first part doesn't contain a whole lot of gvf, it's more of an introduction of what's to come.
synopsis: slow burner fic with Jake Kiszka x fem!reader. Greta Van Fleet invites your band to open for them on tour.
word count: 1.2k (short and sweet to start off)
content warning: mentions of alcohol, cussing, brief mentions of sex, sibling bickering.
taglist: @way-to-go-lad @flowervanfleet (if you want me to add or unadd you from my taglist just let me know!)
Your fingers plucked the strings of your bright yellow bass and your foot tapped along to the notes that came pouring out of the amp.
"Hey, can you help with my drum set?" Jack sets down his snare and walks away, not giving you a chance to answer. Not your fault he has to put his set together every gig, especially when he acted like an ass in the van on the way here. You reluctantly swing your bass strap over your head and set your pride and joy on the stand.
"Y/N!"
"Oh my god, I'm coming!" You set off into a half jog towards the back exit where you parked the van. Miles gives you an equally frustrated look and continues helping Jack lug the pieces of his set out of the back of the van.
You just landed in Nashville, the last stop on your little America tour. This little band you started with your brother (Jack) and mutual friend (Miles) really started taking off after Miles graduated from high school so you all planned a "tour" which was more of a road trip with gigs at bars along the way. It had gone surprisingly well so far with more and more followers finding your socials and Spotify every week.
"Hey, are you guys MHYH?" You look toward the voice at the same time as your bandmates and nod. You guys thought your band’s name was cool but people hardly ever said the full name, preferring to use the acronym instead.
"Yeah, you coming to watch the show?" Miles turns away from Jack handing him another part of the drum kit to engage with the olive skinned girl standing at the opening of the alley.
"For sure! I was wondering if I could request a song of yours that might not be on your setlist." Miles smiles and walks away from Jack and I and towards the pretty girl. Jack lets out a loud huff and rolls his eyes at Miles' back.
"Fuck boy," he mutters. You laugh at his annoyance and pick up where Miles left, grabbing cymbals and stands and bringing them inside.
"I'm serious. He better be back in time for sound check." You set down what you're holding and turn towards Jack.
"You're just jealous you couldn't go talk to her first."
"Well I was crouched in the back of the van like a cave man." Jack was used to getting all the girls since Miles had been in a serious relationship but in the past month, things went sour between Miles and Katie so now Jack had some competition.
"I'm sure there will be plenty more at the show you can talk to." As much as Jack's banter was entertaining you, you couldn't get the sad thought out of your mind that this was your last show on this tour. With all the money you guys spent on gas and food, you barely broke even with tips and your share of ticket profits. It would be a while before you guys could afford to do this again.
Instead of watching Jack put together his drum kit, you decide to pick up your bass again and start plucking out the beginning notes of your most recent song, singing along in your head.
“I told you I had to leave this town
heaven knows you'll be alright
need to get away from here
start focusing on my own life”
"So Denim Dreams has been requested," Miles hopped up onto the small stage and started taking his guitar out of its case.
"Ew dude," Jack pauses setting up his snare to reply. "That's our worst fucking song."
Miles just shrugs with a ghost of a smile on his face and Jack sighs.
"If you make me play that song you better at least be getting laid tonight." You laugh at the two boys and turn to face them fully.
"We need to make our setlist." The three of you always waited right before a show to make the setlist but with thirty minutes to go before the doors opened, you were pushing it tonight.
"Fuck, I forgot we didn't do that yet. Y/N you're the lead singer, it's your job." You roll your eyes and grab your phone from your back pocket to make an impromptu setlist in your notes app.
"Make sure Denim Dreams makes it on there for our beloved fans," Jack replies, sarcasm dripping from his tongue. Miles flips him off and they both laugh at their bickering.
After you're happy with how the setlist looks, you pass your phone to Jack and then Miles to get their approval.
"Looks good, y/nic." Miles goes quiet for a moment. "Let's make this a show to remember, it'll probably be a while before we get to be on a stage again." You note the sad look in his green eyes and solemnly nod your head in response.
Your manager, aka another one of your mutual friends with a degree in business, hops on the crowded stage and hands you a beer.
"Thanks, Kay." After promptly taking a long gulp from the cold bottle, you give her a smile. She was the first one to suggest you guys needing a manager and she handled everything off of the stage, which you were very thankful for.
Miles motions for you to pass the bottle to him and you do so, earning a grossed out look from Jack. He wasn't much of a drinker, but what he didn't indulge in alcohol-wise he certainly made up for in dope.
"You guys got the setlist and everything?" Kay continues to take the bottle from Miles and chugs the rest of the amber liquid. After deciding nods were a good enough answer, she continued, "Hope you guys are ready because there's actually a crowd outside."
You can't hide your shocked expression and she laughs.
"How many are here for us and how many are just here for the booze?"
"That I do not know, Jack, but I guess we'll find out," she winks and walks down the wobbly stairs to the main floor. "I'll tell Bill you guys will be ready in ten. Make it happen."
"Shall we check our sound?"
--
You could feel the sweat dripping down your brow but that didn't matter in this moment. What matters is the screams and the yells from the crowd as you finish your song.
"This next one is called Denim Dreams," Miles speaks into the mic which elicits a scream from the left side of the bar, no doubt from that girl from earlier.
You turn and watch Jack for his cue to start when he gives you a nod. You pluck out the familiar riff of the song you had written about some guy you met years ago, Miles following with the strum of his guitar, and finally Jack with a few stomps to his bass drum.
As you started singing the lyrics, making yourself sound as if you were still in love with the man you had written this song about, you didn't notice the door to the bar open. You certainly didn't notice four boys walk in and make their way to the bar, their eyes on your band the whole time. In fact, it wasn't until you finished with Miles’ solo that you spotted the members of Greta Van Fleet clapping along with the crowd and smiling at you.

Epilogue to Summer Heat, Bucky Barnes/Steve Rogers
-(fem!reader x Bucky Barnes, Steve Rogers)
Summary: A glimpse of the months following Steve leaving Reader for Peggy. This is a part 2/sequel/epilogue of this fic for @syntheticavenger's 5K Follower Challenge
Warnings: This is mild! Mostly Fluff with slight Angst. There's a hint at Bucky eating out his very pregnant girlfriend if you squint. Bucky is soft. Steve is an idiot. Bucky really loves reader. (I stuck at these I apologize. Contains very minor Loki spoilers. I wrote this in like a hour on my phone so I apologize for any typos etc)
Please reblog/share and comment. I love to read your reviews!
Word Count: 2,060
It had been nearly 5 months since you had found out that you were pregnant. You and Bucky were letting everything fall into place as you were getting ready for the birth of your baby. He had talked you into finding out the sex when it was born, despite you wanting to hurry up and find out. You closed your eyes as you sat on the couch, your legs propped onto a pillow as you rubbed your stomach as your baby kicked.
"He's good," he says with a smile. "God, you're so beautiful," he says, and you chuckle.
"I'm a whale, Buck," you say and throw a blueberry at him, which he catches with his mouth. "There's nothing beautiful about me," you snort, and he glares at you.
"I'm a whale, Buck," you say and throw a blueberry at him, which he catches with his mouth. "There's nothing beautiful about me," you snort, and he glares at you.
"Baby, how many times do I have to tell you that you're beautiful?" He asks, and you sigh. You just feel so fat and unattractive, but Bucky still stares at you the same way he did before he made the first move and kissed you all those months ago.
"I don't deserve you, Buck," you smile and move, so you are sitting beside him. "I honestly don't deserve everything you've done for the baby and me-" he cuts you off as he wraps an arm around you and pulls you gently into him, kissing your lips with a softness that made you get goosebumps every time.
"Our baby," he says into your lips.
"Our baby," you whisper back and smile as he stands up and takes your empty bowl to the sink, and comes back to lean down to kiss your chin where you had some chocolate. His lips move up to his, and you run your hands into his hair pulling him closer as he gently devours your lips with his own.
"Need to taste you," he says in a rough tone before pulling away. His hands reach down, taking both of yours. He helps you off of the couch and walks you back to the bedroom.
~ 2 Months Later~
You woke up one morning hearing the birds chirping outside of your window and smiled as Bucky came in, bringing you some toast with avocados and eggs on it. You eat the toast as he leans and kisses your stomach, softly singing his favorite song with his head gently lying on your huge tummy.
You giggle as you listen to him singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" as you close your eyes and remember your first kiss during "The Wizard of Oz" all of those months ago. You play with his hair, looking down at him, wondering how you got so lucky to have a guy like Bucky. Your eyes close for a moment. You can't help but think of Steve. You hate that he left you, you hate that he chose to be with another woman; but why couldn't you hate him?
If he had known you were pregnant, you know he would've stayed. Wouldn't he?
"Hey doll, you okay?" You heard Bucky ask, and you looked down at him. You smile as you nod your head down at him. You take a deep breath.
"I was just thinking about Steve ... not necessarily the bad stuff. I just ..." you couldn't find the words. "He just would have been a good father," you say softly.
"You're right," he smiles and looks up at you. "He was a good man," he whispers and closes his eyes. "I just ... wish he would've handled all of this differently. He should've talked to you," he said, his fingers gently moving over your tummy. You smile. His singing was always something that could calm the baby's kicking down.
When he moves to lay down beside you, pulling you as close as he could as he rested his head on your shoulder and his hand on your stomach. He closed his eyes for a moment and bit at his lip.
"At the funeral, he asked me if I liked you," Bucky whispered. He'd never talked to you about this before. "He said he saw something about the way we looked at each other. He wanted to know if I had feelings for you,"
You bit your lip as you listened to Bucky, and you placed your hand over his.
"I didn't lie to him. I told him the truth. I'm sorry if me telling him that caused him to leave," he said, and you place your finger over his lips.
"Bucky, even if I do miss him sometimes ... even if I do still love him. There's nothing like the love I have for you," you whisper and run your fingers through his hair. "This baby was made with Steve ... and even tho we told each other 'I Love You,' It is fate that you and I go through this with our baby."
Bucky looked up at you, his blue eyes beginning to tear up, and you smile as you run your fingers gently into his hair before you wiped at his face with your fingers.
"I love you so much," you say down to him.
"I love you," he says back as he kisses your stomach and looks up at you with his head resting against your tummy again.
"Let's get married," he says, and you look down at him about to say something. He smiles up at you. "I know it's not an ideal proposal," he chuckles. "But I don't want to wait, and I don't even have a ring ... but I can get one. I just want to marry you, and I want to grow old with you and our baby,"
"Let's get married," you say back with a smile. "We can just do it in the courthouse... I don't need anything but you, Buck. Maybe we can get Sam to come," you say, and he smiles as he pulls away and moves his dog tags from his neck to yours.
"Let's get married," he says again and kisses your lips.
Steve had promised Peggy that he would stop by the grocery store he walked out of the store with his paper bags and looked around as things began to freeze in time. He looked around strangely as everything began to move in slow motion. Holographic doors began to show around him, and three guards came out with guns and walked towards him.
One of them stepped towards him and looked down at something in their hand.
"Steve Rogers, on behalf of the Time Variance Authority. I hereby arrest you for crimes against the sacred timeline."
Before he had a chance to speak, he was zapped away with the strange people and was put on trial. He honestly thought this was some kind of joke. How had he messed with the timeline?
"You must be Captain America," a voice said from behind him. He was holding a file and stood to walk towards him. "I'm Mobius," he said.
"Why am I here?"
"You messed up the Timeline by going back in time to be with Peggy Carter," Mobius replied. "We figured we would give you the chance to fix things. Follow me," he said, and Steve sighed, following after the man.
He stopped at an area, and Steve turned towards a vast place with darkness, but soon the darkness lit up. He saw you and Bucky in front of him.
He saw how the two of you had fallen in love, and something inside him twitched as he saw how you looked at Bucky. It was a way she never looked at him before. Then he watched the night she had called him asking him to pick something up for her, and he gasped.
"I wouldn't have left if I had known," Steve finally spoke.
Mobius looked over at the blonde and shook his head. Then looked back at the screen.
"You need to make a decision. But know one thing, them falling in love was always supposed to happen. It would have happened if you would've stayed," he said, causing Steve to look at the screen. "We normally don't do this, but we will give you time to figure out what you want. You can stay here ... you can let them live their lives. Or you can finally man up and admit that going back into time to be with a woman you only kissed once was a stupid thing to do,"
Bucky smiled as he kissed your head as your 6-week old baby girl, Isabella Rose rested on your chest. He looked like he hadn't slept in days, and you didn't look any better.
"I still can't believe she's here," he smiled, looking down at the sleeping baby. "Here, let me take her. I want you to get some sleep," he said as he softly took her and stood up from the bed and walked her to her nursery, and laid her down.
"Hey sweet pea," Bucky says as he winds up the mobile and Isabella glances up at him and he swore she smiled before looking at the mobile. "All of this is new to me. But I promise I'm going to take care of you and mommy. It's going to be the three of us to the end of the line," he whispered and looked up at the mobile where he and you had hung Steve's dog tags that he had left behind. "Your daddy would love you so much. I miss him and I know mommy misses him too. You have his eyes and his hair. But hopefully, you aren't as hardheaded," he smiles and runs his fingers through her blond hair. "Go to sleep sweet pea,"
He came back into the bedroom and smirked, seeing you were already asleep, and he laid beside you and wrapped an arm around you.
He woke up a few hours later; Isabella was crying. He headed into the room and picked her up, comforting her with a smile.
"Daddy's here," he said as she wrapped her hand around his ring finger, and he smiled seeing her little fingers close to his wedding band. "Daddy's always gonna be here," he said, rocking her softly. He heard a knock on the door and carried Isabella carefully towards the door and opened it slowly.
Steve stood behind the door. He had a hand on the back of his neck as he looked out at his best friend holding his daughter just as you walked into the room.
"Buck, who's at the door?" You ask before you freeze as Bucky moves to the side, and Steve is standing there looking from you to Bucky and down at the little blonde-haired girl in Bucky's arms.
"Bucky, turn around," you say, and he backs away from you and turns his back, and holds Isabella close.
"How dare you!" You say as you slap Steve once and then again. "You left!" You say, and he reaches his hands out to grab ahold of yours. It's when he sees the rings on your finger.
"Y/N. I'm sorry. If I would've known, I wouldn't have left," he says, and you feel the tears building in your eyes.
"But you left Steve ... you left. You said you loved me, and you left," you shook your head. "I loved you, and you left," you said as you began to hit his chest before collapsing into his chest as he wrapped his arms around you.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry," he said as he held you close against his chest. "I came back ... I came back," he said against your head. "I know you and Bucky are together ... but I have to be here for her," he said, and you look up at him and feel his fingers wiping your eyes.
"Can I hold her?" Steve asks, his voice slightly cracking.
"Yes," you whisper and have him sit down on the couch as you motion for Bucky to take Isabella over to Steve. He hands Isabella over carefully, and she looks up at the strange man and wiggles a little in his arms as tears roll from Steve's blue eyes down his cheeks.
"I'm sorry I left you, little Angel, but daddy's never leaving you again," Steve said as he leaned and kissed her head and took in the smell of his daughter for the very first time.

same boat , gojo satoru
summary like falling petals floating in the wind, you ran into gojo satoru by chance and fell in love with him all over again
genre imagine ; ex-lovers to lovers, fluff / wc need to add / warnings cursing, not edited
note gojo gives me very big iron man vibes but if iron man was more like deadpool yea <3
you were too caught up in the falling petals, pushed by chance with a breeze that blew by. they floated slowly to the welcoming ground, waiting to be picked up by your waiting hand.
you were pre-occupied, which is why you didn't see him until you stood back up.
"hey," he breathed out, a hand awkwardly waving while the other rested at the nape of his neck. "it's been a while, hasn't it?"
gojo satoru.
memories of warm mornings and shared nights ran through your mind accompanied by snippets of old conversations and hushed whispers. your mind became full of him as you stared back at your wide-eyed ex lover.
"three years," you answered, suddenly aware the two of you were standing still on the busy sidewalk. people walked around you as if the two of you were encased in your own bubble, and you didn't know if it pleased or upset you.
gojo nodded, and you weren't sure if you had ever seen the man so shy. it was a funny sight, and you wondered why he was being so quiet.
"i've missed you," he said suddenly. "i've missed you a fucking lot actually."
"it's been three years, gojo," you reiterated. you blamed your rapidly beating heart on anything but his words.
"satoru," he corrected. "i thought we knew each other better than that."
"knew," you pointed out, "as in past tense."
he flinched at your words. "ouch."
"yeah, ouch."
"well, i've got time," he said, and you spotted the smirk you remembered so well. "why don't we catch up? there's a bakery down the street that a friend recommended to me. you might like it."
you ran your finger over the petal clasped in your hand absentmindedly. your thoughts went back to the gojo that had left you, broken your heart all those years ago, and your eyes found the gojo before you.
"sure, but you're paying."
"well, that sounds familiar."
and so you let gojo slowly back into your life.
it started with visits to different cafés and other dessert spots — gojo always had a sweet tooth, and these weren't dates. just two old friends catching up, or so he said to you each time with a breathtaking smile.
"tea?" he asked.
"coffee, black," you answered while he hid his surprise. you didn't used to like coffee.
"okay then. a coffee for you, and a lemonade for me," he said before getting up from the table to order at the counter but not before sending you a rather flirtatious wink.
you rolled your eyes and said nothing, only trailing his figure. you didn't want to dwell on memories, but you couldn't help the thumping of your heart towards him.
change was never comfortable, but when you looked back to yourself from three years ago, you were happy that so much had changed. a slight bitterness followed that joy out of regret, but still, you had grown so much. and as you looked at gojo, different as day and night but still with a sense of familiarity, for the first time since you met him again, you wondered if things could be different — better this time around.
so when gojo insisted on walking you home, who were you to disagree?
"do you still live in the same place, or has that changed too?" he teased, hands in his pocket while he stayed close to you.
"same place, actually. i never moved out of my flat. it's comfortable," you replied, ignoring the warmth in your face when he twirled around dramatically. "i changed the interior though."
"oh, y/n," he let out in a sing-song voice. "is that an invitation in?"
you scoffed. "as if."
the rest of the way went in quiet conversation until, of course, you misstepped and found yourself tripping over a poorly placed rock. flying through the air, a squeaking groan escaped you.
but gojo was quick on his feet, and he thanked whatever strings of fate that had come into play as his arm wrapped securely around your waist. he pulled you close to him, a confident smile beginning to grow while his eyes darted towards yours.
your eyes fell to his pink lips as he dipped down closer by your ear. "falling for me again, are we?"
hearts racing, adrenaline rushing, your breath caught in your throat as gojo leaned in. your eyes fluttered shut instinctively as his scent overwhelmed your senses, and you felt his lip brush against yours ever so slightly before he pulled away entirely. your eyes opened slowly, as if to adjust to the non-existent sunlight, and your face flushed with embarrassment.
"i missed us," he said. his smile shining bright. "and it's good to know we're in the same boat."
this time he didn't pull away.

Hey Stevie
Summary: Someone switches your karaoke song, revealing your feelings for Steve.
Warnings: none! Just the fluffiest fluff.
Word Count: 879
a/n: Another blurb! In honor of Fearless (Taylor's Version) I present another karaoke fic. I have an obsession. I am not sorry. The song is "Hey Stephen" by Taylor Swift :)
Masterlist
"Y/N, it's your turn! Get your pretty ass up there." Wanda called to you from across the bar, slightly tipsy.
You yourself were slightly tipsy, the only way you would ever agree to karaoke.
"Wan, I don't even remember the song I picked." You whined right back, still walked towards her.
"You picked a Taylor Swift song. You know all of them. Just go!" She shooed you onto the stage as the music started.
She was right. You recognized the song immediately, although you seriously did not remember picking it.
Either way, you started humming when you were supposed to, dancing around the small bar stage.
"Hey Stephen, I know looks can be deceiving but I know I saw a light in you."
You were almost certain you vowed, specifically to Wanda, to never sing this song at karaoke, no matter how drunk you were, but you couldn't remember why for the life of you.
So you carried on, thoroughly enjoying the performance.
"And as we walked, we were talking. I didn't say half the things I wanted to."
You let your mind wander as you sang, having had this song memorized since the original came out in 2009.
You mostly thought about Steve and how in love with him you were.
"Hey Stephen, boy you might have me believing I don't always have to be alone."
You laughed to yourself. Steve. Stephen. Steve. Stephen. Suddenly you remembered why you swore not to sing this song.
Your eyes widened as you stared at Wanda, wondering how this song was chosen.
"'Cause I can't help it if you look like an angel. Can't help it if I wanna kiss you in the rain so, come feel this magic I been feeling since I met you. Can't help it if there's no one else. Mhmm I can't help myself."
Wanda smirked as you sang, grinning like the Cheshire Cat. You glared daggers at her, but it did nothing to deter her triumphant attitude.
You cringed internally at just how frequently you had to say Stephen. Even if it's technically spelt differently, it still sounds the same.
"Hey Stephen I've been holding back this feeling. So, I got some things to say to you."
Nat walked up to Wanda, an obvious smirk on her face as well. The two whispered to each other, clearly congratulating themselves on getting you to sing this song.
"I've seen it all. So, I thought, but I never seen nobody shine the way you do."
You switched your glare to Nat, knowing it wouldn't do anything to deter her either. You just couldn't bare the thought of looking at anyone else, not when you were singing this song.
"The way you walk, way you talk, way you say my name. It's beautiful wonderful, don't you ever change."
You gave up on your fruitless glaring, choosing instead to close your eyes and think happier thoughts than "I want to murder my best friends."
Even though you tried to think of literally anything else, Steve popped into your head again. His smile. His blue eyes. Everything you were singing about him.
"They're dimming the street lights. You're perfect for me. Why aren't you here tonight?"
Your eyes involuntarily sought him out. you made eye contact right in time for the next few lines.
"I'm waiting alone now. So, come on and come out and pull me near. And shine, shine, shine."
You couldn't tell what he was feeling. His was clearly shocked, but you couldn't tell if it was a good or bad thing. You tore your eyes from him long enough to glance at Sam and Bucky. Unsurprisingly, they were also smirking.
With one more glance at Steve, you decided to take a bit of a chance.
You looked right at him, altering the words a bit to make it more personal.
"Hey Stevie, I could give you fifty reasons why I should be the one you choose. All those other girls, well they're beautiful, but would they sing this song for you."
It was your turn to smirk as you took in the shocked expressions of all of your friends. Bucky and Sam's jaws were nearly on the floor. Wanda was squealing. Nat still wore her signature smirk. Tony looked impressed.
Steve though, his reaction was the most important. He was clearly blushing, but the smile on his face was just as prominent.
The second you finished the song, you not-so-gracefully jumped off the stage. Everyone clapped for you, but you were on a mission.
You walked up to Steve, who was still blushing, with a new found confidence.
Once you got there though, you panicked again. "Hi." You muttered, unsure of what else to say.
"Hi." He whispered back, still absorbing your performance.
"Just kiss her, punk." Bucky said, standing right next to you but sounding like he was a million miles away.
You moved your hands around his neck, pulling his face closer to yours, but not quite closing the distance. You wanted to leave him with the choice. Your feelings were already pretty obvious.
He moved one hand to your cheek, the other taking up residence on your waist.
"It's always been you." He whispered, right before pulling you in for a kiss.
