currently watching both XO, Kitty and Never Have I Ever (season 1) & although both shows are very well written and funny and cute (plus im loooving them), and there's healthy teen queer representation, I just can't digest how both Yuri and Fabiola (lesbians) just say "I am gay".

like. what's up with this lesbian erasure in media? it's not a, you know, slur. you CAN say lesbian. in fact, you should!
