Damn, this is so correct. I honestly keep drafting satirical scripts of my experiences so far that I one day want someone to perform, because honestly, I’m already a shell of a person that I was, and it’s not the actual ‘academics’ that have caused it! :)
Tumblr media
#there are some content warnings in tags about dieting#I find I have to act a whole different person in order to succeed#I have to de-goth for conferences#I have my food habits scrutinised - I’m told how I should eat how I should eat what I should do#you have to be available 24/7 for pointless meetings#and lunches and afternoon teas#I’ve had people try to cure my acne#and tell me how to live my life#all in academia just for the sake of fitting in#it’s also unfortunately a competition of the financially elite - the pay is terrible and often so many opportunities are unpaid#like you have to teach without additional payment#peer review journals in your spare time without additional payment#I have had some acting training so I find my entire conference etiquette is just a performance#and I’ll just act like some enthusiastic lady when deep down all I wanna do is sleep#I had a panic attack at my last conference and they had to force me back in lol because I was so overstimulated - dark room#too much socialising and small talk and loud sounds and then bam my phobia emerges and honestly it’s been awful#I’m on a well-being week off this week but sometimes I wonder if I ever want to go back#I’m also scrutinised for not going to the gym like what is this?#it’s also an industry where champagne and wine are absolutely centric#like if u don’t wanna drink at a conference u just have to die of dehydration#and if u don’t like going out and getting drunk then you’re a social hermit

I think I'm being too lenient with some of you anons recently. Some of you are getting too entitled and far too bold to be a) persistently asking about my relationship with people I'm friends with, b) demand information of things I mentioned (ie my brother) and c) demand updates or schedules with my writing.
1). I don't care if your intention is harmless. Maybe others are fine with being questioned about their relationship, but I'm not. I've said it before; there's only one person in this world that deserves my love, and for another, I'm aroace and do not care for romance. My interactions with my mutuals are simply as such; friendly and platonic. There's nothing romantic and there will be nothing romantic, and it's gross having to see people ask me "are you dating [person]." You people are the reason I don't feel comfortable interacting with my close friends anymore on Tumblr, because of this gross habit.
No, I don't care that you're curious. I don't care that your intentions mean well. You're gross to think two friends together are in a relationship.
You're also a bit too in your head to have the audacity to ask me something like that. What makes you think you on anon have the right to certain information about me??
2). I've been deleting them but I've hit my limit. Don't ask me about people I mention. Yes, I tend to post stuff about my personal life or mention people I've met irl or on the internet without mentioning names, but you aren't obliged to be given additional information on them. Your curiosity is meaningless and to be frank, the one thing that's stopping me from punching you in the face is the fact you're hiding behind anon, and on the internet.
I am a pretty violent person you know. I don't care for peace and love. If you want to get on my bad side this badly, I don't advise hiding behind an anon.
3). Oh, my favorite. You. Are. Not. Paying. Me. For. My. Writing.
I'm a very simple person. I don't mind allowing the shittiest of people beat me up if it means I can get payment from it. As far as I can tell, I write fanfiction as a) a hobby, b) to expand my writing, and c) because I want too.
Fine, you happen to like my stuff, and that's nice, don't get me wrong. But even if you, or anyone else for that matter, don't like my stuff, I don't care. My writing has always been for me, and will forever be for me.
I don't have a writing schedule nor do I want too. And I don't have to give you updates just because you're impatient or annoying that you believe you're entitled to my writing because "you're giving me likes + follow for that." What the hell is a follow supposed to do, exactly?? Are you not aware if I was concerned about followers, I would've curbed my opinions in the god fuck fandom I'm in??
You on anons are being incredibly insufferable and rather BOLD FACED. By the gods, do you believe hiding behind an anonymous ask will grant you an immunity?? I like insulting people, you know, so you're not getting much for me. Plus, if you're that desperate for attention or soooo thirsty or hungry for content, there are tons of writers on this app alone. I'm sure they're dumb enough to tolerate your bullshit, but not me.
So, less you're giving me cash....fuck off, okay?
This is genuinely the last time I'm stating this. If I have to keep repeating myself, or even see one more ask that relates to the statements I've made, I'm taking my asks off in general. I try to be lenient for the nicer anons that might speak memes or just innocently ask about my day, or even my friends to send me memes and bother me for the funs of it.
And some of you are just too comfortable. Did your parents not teach you human decency or respect, or were you raised in the pigs shed? Even people who might've been raised in a barn have more decency than the little fucks in my anons.

They have a pumpkin lantern!
Tumblr media
Miguel what is your room decorations? A skull...a monster (looks kinda AoT but idk) I kinda expected more spiderman for a guy whose grandma is supposed to be making him a spiderman costume.
Tumblr media
Seriously, Miggy what is alll of this? It's like horror art.
Tumblr media
I also don't know who this dude is that's on his wall multiple times. also the one wall of spooky horror looking art with the other wall of cutesy art is a mood. But also...I don't know any of these references. 😂
Tumblr media
I forgot his first choice for costume was deadpool. I wonder if they didn't put any of those characters he wanted up in his room due to copyright. Since this is pre-netflix money and I assume most of it went to music rights. But again, I might just be missing the references to all these things.
"Miggy what happened to your hand? Uhhh.... You don't want to know." His grandma thinks he injured himself jerking off. 😂
So he's behind on a bunch of bills $430 for a late loan payment, he's made 20 payments but still owes 40 and is behind by like what looks like 2 months.
He owes $45.84 for power via Southern Power Source
My question related to the bills is...didn't he use Sid's check? How little did Sid give him? Or I suppose the other question is where did that money go?
omg I just noticed the LaRusso stairs. Those tiles are so cool!
Tumblr media
Looks like someone drives Jeep Rubric...Kyler maybe? Did Kyler show up first thing? It's not like they're neighbors? Why's he out of the car? Are they driving together or seperate?
Amanda: "outside of wasting a few bucks of tuna he seemed harmless"
AMANDA THAT WAS NOT CHEAP TUNA. That was ridiculously expensive tuna that was wasted. TORO is not cheap.
I mean it's not that Daniel's gotta trust Johnny over Sam, it's that neither Sam doesn't know Kyler's awful (at the moment) and Daniel's met the guy once. There's more nuance to the situation. Plus technically Sam's 'fallen in with the wrong crowd'. She's throwing parties at your house without permission and not cleaning up after them. She's getting into car accidents and not telling anyone about it. She's not hanging out with her old friends. Like it's interesting how most shows put the push on "be friends with people who care about you" but Amanda and Daniel are like "so she wants to be popular" that's a great choice who cares what the people she hangs out with are like. Which do they even know these knew friends of hers?
Louie's movie recommendation: Jungle Fever
West Valley High School home of the Mountain Lions: "can't hide our lion pride" "Keep calm and roar on"
Demetri would rather play a game then get hit in the face...proceeds to get hit in the face later by Kreese.
Tumblr media
2 things: 1 the vape city is new. And 2 that is a completely different address. Isn't that where Tom Cole's shop is?
Johnny's out here taping his signs up on palm trees near the Encino Commons and the first guy he tries to offer karate classes to is like a grandpa. Also, despite his protests on teaching women, he totally tries to give a flyer to a woman jogging past.
Sam has her own en suite bathroom. Which means she and Anthony don't fight over their bathrooms. Lucky, but also disappointing for sibling fighting.
I think the closest we get to TKK Daniel rambling yet is Amanda catching him snooping on Sam's laptop. Goes from wifi issues to making broccoli rabe to wondering if shark tank is on tonight. 😂
Miguel's backpack is also a Dodgers backpack. Yet nothing Dodgers related in his room.
New music mention: Ratt
The school has a swimming pool. Is this the same school that Johnny and Daniel went to or is it new? Does that mean they had swimming gym classes? Daniel did have access to a pool? Or is it a different school or possibly an addition?
"I thought you new this guy." "Of course not I lied." and Miguel's "awwww." like he's exhausted, disappointed but also not surprised.
Tumblr media
What is that?!
Do you think Johnny did Miguel's make up for the skeleton?
I get that a. it's a piece of jewelry and b. it's like innocent but not actually innocent because of Kyler but also Daniel is a chaperone and his job is to keep the kids out of the classrooms...and at the dance...so...he's doing his job.
Kyler lying causes so many issues because everyone believes him. 😂
What sort of teen drama fake app is a 'new video alert'? Like does Yasmine just have everyone's phone number in the entire school???
...Miguel there's no zipper there. The zipper is in the back...how did you? Were you just miming going to the bathroom? Why? So your friends wouldn't feel lonely because you didn't have to go to the bathroom? Also does this mean Johnny and all the cobras had to treat those things like rompers?
So is Kyler captain hook and his friend is smee?
Why would the bathrooms also be the locker rooms that students can lock themselves into???? That seems super unsafe.
I guess if there's a photo of Ali then it must be the same school, but they must've changed their school colors from green and white.

Rise From The Ashes 1/? (Alexia AU)
"(Half of a month has passed since Lady Maya and I had left the Wright & Coop Law Offices. ... And exactly, a month and a half since I returned here at the personal request of the aforementioned to come and take care of Phoenix. She I was afraid that our absence could do him some kind of harm. And boy was she right, because when I arrived, I could see that I was in a totally depressed state. Although I kept this information to myself, I didn't want it to happen if Lady Maya realizes that our absence was hurting Phoenix, she will abandon her responsibilities again to come and take care of him.)”
"(I've been doing the best I can to take care of him. But you can't really help someone who doesn't realize they have a problem... And all of that has now led to him getting sick from poor diet and dehydration, so he is now in bed with medications to combat these two problems.)”
"(If Phoenix is indisposed because he is sick, then who is in charge of the legal offices? I think the answer is quite obvious. Well, although I am only giving some advice to people who come to ask for guidance with legal processes that they are doing. I am not an attorney, but I have a lot of knowledge about this little world that I have taught myself while listening to Lady Mia teaching Phoenix or reading it myself.)”
"(But like I said, I'm not a attorney. So I haven't taken any cases, much less had one prepared for Phoenix to take on, since it doesn't seem like he's in a very good position to take them. And yet... I still can't believe I did that crazy thing when that girl came to the offices...)”

February 22, 09:45 A.M. – Wright & Coop Law Offices.
“Oh… Why do I still bother to come here every day? What I charged for the small consultations I'm doing, they're not worth coming at all…” Alexia mutters to herself.
The girl looks around the general office, remembering the recent adventures that have taken place. Although she doesn't want to admit it, she can see why Phoenix felt so depressed being here, the place feels too lonely and quiet without Maya's constant contagious joy to brighten their morning.
“Well, I can't complain too much. At least I am left with the consolation of keeping 70% of the total payment for these.” Alexia murmurs, walking towards the central desk and leaving her bag on it. “Although I'd be lying that participating in a case would make my morning more exciting.”
While sitting on the chair, she accidentally knocks over a box that was sitting near a door.
“Oh… this I think is from Lady Mia…” Alexia murmurs, as she picks up the fallen box. “If it's the one next to this door that leads to the room that Mia used every time, she stayed up all night while she worked on a case.”
“(Maybe looking won't hurt. It's not like I have anything else to do until someone comes to the offices with some legal query.)” Alexia thinks before taking out the contents of the box. “Wow… But what do we have here?”
It seems that they are the clothes that Mia wore when she was a lawyer before she had to forcibly retire. Even her law degree is next to them.
“(*Thoughtful hum* They seem to be my size… at least thanks to my height, and not so much because of my… no, forget I even thought about that…)” Alexia thinks to herself. “(Should I try them on? It's not like there's anyone stopping me, and like I said, there's no one coming until further notice.)”
After a few minutes, Alexia could be seen with a change of outfit, one that is much more formal compared to the one she was wearing a few moments ago.
“*Giggle* Hey, it doesn't look bad on me, not bad at all.” Alexia comments with a small smile. “In addition, thanks to this attorney badge, I see myself as a fully-fledged lawyer.”
Her little personal fashion show was interrupted the moment someone kicked open the door. Alexia quickly got into a defensive stance, prepared for whatever came her way. Although what she didn't expect to see was a girl, maybe a little younger than Maya, but definitely older than her... or that's what she believes at first glance.
“Ah! There you are! Finally! Where have you been?! My sister’s trial is tomorrow!” The angry girl exclaims, puffing out her cheeks in annoyance. Alexia just looks at her with confusion marked on her face.
“…Uhm…Who are you?” Alexia asks uncertainly.
“It doesn't matter who I am! “It only matters who YOU are!” The girl exclaims in response. “You are the famous defense attorney, Mia Fey!”
Alexia just stares at her, an expression of complete disbelief on her face, the girl looks back at her with an annoyed expression on hers. Seconds passed as they kept their gaze on the other girl. Or at least that was until it seemed like a bit of enlightenment fell on the girl’s head.
“Oh, uh... You're not Mia Fey, are you?” The girl says embarrassed. Alexia shakes her head.
“I'm sorry, but Ms. Mia Fey no longer… works here.” Alexia responds as she rubs her arm.
“S-So... You are... the coffee girl?” The girl asks curiously.
"Oh no. I'm Alexia Fey... I'm the junior coworker of the defense attorney who's running the show, Phoenix Wright. But, at the moment, he is indisposed due to health issues." Alexia responds politely.
“Wright… Fey…” The girl in the science gown mutters to herself, clearly trying to remember. "Wait! Are you THE Alexia Fey!? The Alexia Fey who solved the Gregory Edgeworth murder case!?”
“Um, yes, that's right.” Alexia responds politely. “(Although that was only the easy part of the last day of the trial, the one who handled the defense in the most complicated part was Phoenix. I only solved the simple part.)”
"(Although knowing how simple the case itself was, I'm surprised that they had never solved it. It would almost seem that they didn't solve it because they wanted not to solve it...)" Alexia thinks, still somewhat confused.
“That's a relief then!” The girl exclaims excitedly, interrupting Alexia's reflection. “You are better than anyone!”
"Excuse me?" Alexia questions confused. But this one she looks surprised, when the girl, out of nowhere, takes her hand in hers.
“Y-You're an attorney too, right?” The girl says hopefully, shocking Alexia by the conclusion the girl came to.
Tumblr media
“(Me? An attorney? But where did she get-?)” Was Alexia's thought, until she looked at how she was dressed. "(Oh... that explains it... and having this attorney badge doesn't help not having that impression neither...)"
“I-I'm sorry... I'm afraid we are not accepting cases at this time.” Alexia answers seriously.
"What!? B-But you're Alexia Fey, right? One of the two undefeated defense attorneys at these law offices?” The nervous girl says.
“Look, I simply cannot accept any new cases until further notice. I’m sorry, but you’ll have to try somewhere else.” Alexia answers, looking away from her. She didn't want to look at the hurt look that girl was giving her... it hurt her to a certain extent... it reminded her of her...
"Please! I’m running out of time!" The girl begs desperately.
“I know, but…” Alexia says, in an attempt to refuse.
“Please, you have to help me! S-She’s, my sister!” The desperate girl alleges. Tears peeking out of the corner of her eyes.
It was for a fleeting moment, but Alexia could swear that behind the girl, she could see Maya's image appear for brief moments.
“(L-Lady Maya...? Could it...?)” Alexia thought in surprise, before closing her eyes tightly. “(Forgive me Lady Mia… it seems I have more in common with Phoenix than I thought…)”
"... Alright. I will listen to you." Alexia growls, covering her face.
“R-really!?” The girl says hopefully.
"Yes of course. Why not?" Alex comments like someone who doesn't want the thing.
"Thank you so much!" The girl exclaims ecstatically. “Oh! By the way, my name is Ema, Ema Skye. I am a scientific investigator.”
"You? A scientific investigator?” Alexia questions. Ema nods her head, clearly looking excited.
"That's how it is!" Ema exclaims proudly, but she is confused when she sees how Alexia looks at her, raising an eyebrow. "There is something wrong?"
“No, it's just that you look a little... very young. “Innocent” I would say.” Alexia comments looking at the girl.
"Young? But this year I will be sixteen years old!” Ema responds with a big smile.
“Oh, I see…” Alexia says to herself before the words register in her head. "Wait! Are you only fifteen right now!?” Ema nods with the zebra in confirmation.
"Yep! And I will be formally assigned to Forensic Sciences in three more years. My work is becoming quite well known… At my age, no less!” Ema reports happily. Alexia gave an internal sigh at Ema's last statement.
“(Do I really look THAT old compared to her? Everyone thinks I'm even older than Lady Maya, and I'm 11 years old...)” Alexia thinks, intrigued. “(Although, at least with my appearance I could outwit others… I hope so.)”
“Um, so what exactly is your current position?” Alexia asks.
“Well, legally speaking… I guess you could call me an “eleventh grader.” But I'm more than ready to do my job! At my age, no less!” Ema responds proudly.
“(Great, another future professional in training…)” Alexia thinks with a half-smile, before speaking; “So, do you want to be a scientific investigator when you grow up?”
“E-excuse me? I’m not a little girl, I let you know!” Ema says annoyed. Alexia will admit that she looks absolutely adorable when she’s angry.
“Young or not. Even so, it's still good to have a goal in life. As unusual as it may be.” Alexia says winking at him. Ema blushes slightly, before giggling.
“Well, I think research should be done scientifically! Don't you believe it?” Ema says happily.
"Oh yeah." Alexia comments, agreeing with the girl. “(I sure can't blame her for her lack of enthusiasm. Waiting to take the career you've always dreamed of is a rewarding feeling.)”
“If this case is handled scientifically, I am sure my sister's name will be cleared!” Ema exclaims excitedly.
“Of course, the accused is your sister.” Alexia comments thoughtfully.
“I've been doing research, you know! I'm developing a new scientific case investigation method! I’ll show you when I’m done!” Ema says, sure of herself.
“I’m looking forward to the moment.” Alexia says, stroking the little doctor's hair. Which she received with joy.
“So, with the introductions over.” Alex says, getting serious. “How about you talk to me about the case you have for me? You said the trial is tomorrow, right?”
“My sister didn't do it! She wouldn't stab anyone with a knife! She would never do it!” Ema exclaims nervously.
“So... it's a murder case.” Alexia murmurs thoughtfully.
“I don't care if there is a witness who saw her do it! She did not do it! I know she didn't do it! It’s a scientific fact!” Exclaims Ema annoyed.
“*Snort* And there is a witness…” Alexia murmurs, massaging her forehead.
“J-just talk to her! You have to talk to her!” Ema asks pleadingly.
“Sure… I guess I will.” Alexia mutters, crossing her arms.
“I promised her I would bring Mia Fey, but…” Ema mutters depressed.
“(That's interesting... How would this young lady know Lady Mia? Will she know her through her case or personally?)” Alexia thinks interestedly, before speaking; “Your sister wanted you to come for my… big sister, Mia Fey, right? Do they have a connection or something?”
"Oh yeah. Ms. Mia Fey was with her at school.” Ema responds with a small smile. “They were in the same class to be specific.”
"Oh, I see. So, she went to the same school as Mia.” Alexia comments surprised.
“She always told me to go to Ms. Mia Fey if she ever needed a defense attorney... And, well... I need one.” Adds Ema smiling. “And you being her younger sister, I'm sure you'll do it just like her.”
“*Giggle* It's very kind of you to help your sister like this. You two must be very close.” Alexia says with a small smile. But her smile fell when she saw Ema's expression, since she was one of sadness.
“H-Hey, is something wrong?” Alexia asks worriedly.
“Well... Actually, when she gets like she is now... I kind of hate her.” Ema murmurs sadly.
“(Huh?)” Alexia thinks in surprise.
“But... But she's my only family.” Ema adds, hugging herself.
“Your only family? What about your parents? Do you work from afar? Divorced? Dead?” Alexia questions.
“Dead. They died in a car accident when I was quite young.” Ema responds, rubbing the back of her neck.
“I’m sorry for the loss of your parents.” Alexia says putting her hand on the little doctor's shoulder. “But we can still prevent the loss of your older sister. So, we should go to the detention center and talk to her to find out what's going on. What do you say? Will you come with me?”
“Uh… Yes! I’m right behind you!” Ema exclaims excitedly.

Just some more stuff on Pure O (OCD) in general, or at least my personal experience with it. Your mileage may vary!
Yes, Pure O is a bit of a misnomer. You still have compulsions, they’re just internal instead of external. Doing something like washing your hands 10x in a row is a lot easier for others to spot than getting stuck ruminating on the same thought over and over for 10 minutes straight.
Pure O is hard to catch because it masquerades as anxiety, though I’ve actually been diagnosed with it by 3 separate therapists at this point. The first time was when I was in college and was having more of the textbook intrusive thoughts. 2nd was after a severe mental breakdown back in 2022.
2022 was when I started detailing my thought spirals to my therapist at the time who told me that she was just exhausted listening to them and could only imagine how I felt having them. She didn’t say that in a mean way, for the record. She was moreso affirming what a negative experience this was having on my life and that this sort of thing was 100% not normal brain behavior.
Getting back on antidepressants has helped a lot. Antidepressants are commonly prescribed, in addition to therapy. Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy and Inference-based Cognitive Behavior Therapy (I-CBT) are the common go-tos.
My current therapist specializes in OCD and refers to it as the doubting disease. This article does a good job of explaining why.
Personally, a lot of my OCD results in “what if” thought spirals for which there’s no real answer. The main thing I’ve been learning is how to disrupt these thought spirals rather than get sucked into them like a whirlpool. A lot of that comes down to realizing I’m spiraling and then being able to take a step back and go “oh, this is my OCD, not me.” My go to phrase is “thank you brain, but that’s not helpful.” There are other visualization exercises and those type of things you can do too. The important thing is to acknowledge the thought and then move on. Don’t get stuck in it but also don’t try to suppress it.
I did a loooot of suppression before I learned that actually made things worse lol. But it made sense at the time.
Just like: Bad/distressing thought? If I think about it, it’s gonna make me upset, so I won’t think about it. I’ll just shove it deep down and then problem solved, right?
Right..?
Another important thing to keep in mind is that there aren’t “good” or “bad” thoughts when it comes to OCD. You need to acknowledge the distressing thought without judgment and recognize it’s the result of your OCD and not an indicator of who you are as a person, what your failures are, etc. Assigning a “bad thought” label just tends to increase your anxiety and aversion.
Some of my OCD thought spirals are more distressing than others. Some are even a little silly in retrospect.
Like, for example, I was thinking about signing up for piano lessons. But what if I didn’t like it? What if I didn’t practice enough and I wasted the teacher’s time? They provide lessons in return for payment. What if they see I signed up and they’re like “sweet, that’s another $x I can expect every week and can now budget for” but then I quit and now they’re out that money? Will they hate me? Is that fair for me to do to someone? What if I take the place of an actual dedicated student who won’t leave them in the lurch like that? And I stressed about the opposite too. What if I start taking classes and I’m devoted to it and I can actually help make this hypothetical person’s life easier by paying them to teach me?
The thought of “it’d be cool to learn piano” quickly morphed into “I’m ruining a hypothetical person’s life no matter what I do.”
I was agonizing about this for days. And, frankly, this was like a 3/10 on my personal OCD scale. It was like having a pot of soup on the back burner that I was having to remember to stir periodically, but for days with no end in sight.
I am aware of how my OCD works at this point, but I still didn’t realize this was my OCD until I finally opened up to my husband about it. And I felt I needed to temper my dilemma with “this is probably going to sound silly, but…”
What’s that sound? Oh, that’s just my therapist screaming in the distance, “THAT’S NOT SELF-COMPASSION, HISMERCY!” Another tool therapy has given me to help me with my excessive self-negativity.
My husband is, thankfully, a very grounded person and is well aware of my OCD struggles. His response? “Just sign up for piano lessons.”
This further reassured me that this was an OCD thought spiral and also helped me to get out of it. Like he threw me a rope when I was stuck in quicksand.
OCD is fucking EXHAUSTING. It takes up so much of your brain power when you get caught up in it and that diminishes it for other brain power related things. It’s like constantly being down a spell slot or more depending on how severe it is. And it can be so sneaky too, like the situation above. It took me literal days to realize that something was off about my thought process.
And you never know what could trigger it. I mean, some triggers you can start to be on the lookout for, but why would I think I was wading into quicksand when all I was thinking about was how cool it’d be to learn piano?
You also can’t cure OCD, but you can sort of get it into remission. Periods of high stress are likely to exacerbate it, so a lot of dealing with OCD is just taking preventative measures like the whole “eat right, cut back on caffeine, get enough sleep, exercise, blah blah blah” thing.
I take some comfort in the fact my 2022 mental breakdown was more than likely the result of pandemic stress/trauma and an extremely demanding personal situation I was also in at the time and had been for almost a year at that point. I was worn so thin and then all it took was the wrong trigger at the wrong time and I went to pieces.
Thank god I already had an established therapist at that point. I was able to immediately reach out to her for help. I started seeing her once a week instead of once a month and I got back on antidepressants.
Tbh if I hadn’t been off the antidepressants, it might not have been as severe of a mental breakdown as it was, but I’d been taking antidepressants for depression, not anxiety. I had no idea they also helped with anxiety because I’d never taken anything specifically for my anxiety before.
That’s not to say it wouldn’t have still happened on the antidepressants, but it probably would’ve helped me weather the storm a little better if I’d been on them. And every person and their experience is different too, of course.
But this is what I mean when I say I have OCD/Pure O.
If you or a loved one are experiencing…lol.
But seriously, if you read this and it resonates with you, it might be worth trying to get some help from a trusted family member/friend, a therapist, a doctor, etc. I know that’s easier said than done in a lot of cases, but even just finding out there’s a word for what you’re going through can help sometimes, which is why I wanted to share my personal experience with OCD.
You also don’t have to have a therapist to get medication for anxiety/depression, at least where I am in the US. My primary care doctors have been the ones who have always prescribed antidepressants for me in the past. They do their own screenings and it’s not the same as getting straight up therapy, but they can help too.
Oh yeah, and one more thing. Sometimes I can catch an OCD spiral by thinking “Would I say this to someone else if they came to me with the same concern?” Like with the piano example, my gut reaction is “Of course not, why would they worry about something like that? None of that makes any sense. They should give it a try!”
Idk why it’s so easy to be rational for others but not for myself. This can also work for negative self talk. “Would I say this to a friend? A family member? A stranger? No, because it’s an awful, untrue, and insensitive thing to say.”
Brains are so weird. 🤷

Started with skating 20 min only on two feet for the first week. difficult knowing he could do more but knew itnot benefit him in the long run. They made sure the return to the ice was correct. only finished choreography and were able to do run throughs mid August 2022
Scott and the medical staff kept him in it, motivated him. when things got tough- seeing competitors full on in their prep and season was difficult, but his team helped him, said you're on your own plan, that they had a heavy 2nd half of the season planned, and now is for recovery and getting better. Anthony- Christina was so patient with me. She skated by herself for months. Having everyone around me like that helped me in the long run.
C: trusting the process. went in July to MTL to get choreo-- they were getting starting choreo while everyone else was getting ready for camps. MF said you need to take your time, don't need to skate full out when you're just learning steps. that calmness helped
Set some goals at Champs Camp- it was a distant goal, a distant dream to go to Worlds, almost just like a dream- they were skipping elements at Champs Camp because they weren't ready. and here they are now in Montreal doing run throughs with some of the best in the world now- it's an honor. they took it one competition at a time.
When did you find out you were going to Worlds? After 4CC all the coaches talked and told them to be ready just in case. learned the week HB announced their withdrawal that they were going
They've made a lot of changes in the RD, small ones in the FD. loved not having the pattern - a blessing that they didn't have the compulsary dance because training the pattern usually takes an hour a day, hour and a half-- so with this injury not having to do the drilling, give the effort and time for the season they've had- loved not having the compulsory. usually they really focus on key points- with the choreo step- adds life to the program.
Changed coaches and moved to London-- 13 min
Time for a new environment and new coaches. Made the decision to leave after Nationals in 2021. Spoke a lot with Scott and Patch who told them the transition would be difficult because the approach was very different. It was really hard- last year you saw some growing pains. This year we feel more comfortable, coming into our own, skating better.
Being with a coach so long, it's hard to change everyting- everything we learned was with Igor. New environment, new style was difficult. How well we're doing now is the payment for that- we had to learn, to grow, get comfortable, also the addition of Madi and Adrian was great- put a bow on the new training camp, helped in a big way.
How have they helped you this season- C: Helped so much- I'm so happy to have Madi work with me every day- she's truly the best female skater. Everything from how she handles the partner to the way she skates and presents herself- having her teach me every day is so important and so so helpful. And i don't think we would have had the season we had without her or Adrian
A: they're extremely hard workers- let's say Scott gives them Monday off, and they're in Toronto, they'll come home early and work from home and fill documents and this and that. they're truly embracing this new path of life, they're fully committed, and the energy they bring is just fantastic. I don't think we'd have the results and the programs we have now if it weren't for them

What if you were the one to write a rocket solo movie? What would it be about?
I'd probably want to do one of where he just escaped the lab and have his story go from his escape to his eventual team up with Groot. I know James Gunn elaborated on Groot and Rocket's first meeting and I sorta wrote it in my roleplay with @antvnger flourishing on it a bit as a story Rocket told him.
Actually have a few stories I made up myself that'd happen before that too, so I have enough of a 'background' story that could fit into an actual movie. The plot would be Rocket before he integrated into society as a fully fledged person. Him having to pick up on humanoid habits. I shared my idea with a couple people but basically he gets taken in as something between a foster kid or a pet by a person, I am thinking an elderly lady who seems very nice. He hasn't really figured out how he wants to be treated yet and is just grateful to have someone showing him some kindness. At first this person's intentions seem very pure, they're kind to him, feed him, start teaching him about the world, he gets to wear clothes... but Rocket's genius shows through (maybe he tries to invent them something nice as a thank you, in addition with his behavioral problems getting out of hand) and a shift in intention happens to his caretaker, who eventually cages him leaving him very confused and scared and tries to take him to sell to the collector. Rocket would be begging for this not to happen, pleading, because he trusted this person.
I'd use the term 'pet' as a backhand when the collector asks Groot if Rocket is his pet and snickers at Rocket's reaction as a throw back to this incident, like they know each other already but Rocket's just there in Vol 1 to get paid and trying his best to not be too angry about it all. Rocket would escape from the collector before being caged up, which causes the payment for Rocket to get cancelled just as the caretaker was about to collect the units.
Insert horrifying man hunt from his caretaker as Rocket has to flee, completely fucking with his mind, getting coaxed with sweet words followed by deep rooted insults that delve into his insecurities. This experience solidifies Rocket's absolute misanthropy.
Following all this, Rocket takes his life into his own hands, he sheds the metal pieces from his body as much as he can, prying off the parts off his face and chest, removing his braces. He starts his life of crime, and starts getting into his love of guns, and there would be a montage of his prison sentences where we get to see him hold his own without Groot. We'd see clips of his various crimes, him enjoying that life, him submitting to his sentences and followed by prisonbreaks. It shows how creative he is, we get some comedy of the crazy ideas he's pulled off, and when he's being a criminal we do see he has pride in himself and his own professionalism and that even though he'll break laws he still has a moral compass under it.
This goes on until he gets sentenced to a prison that lacks any tech for him to use to break out; that's when he meets Groot. It his him, Groot and Tibius Lark who is friends with Groot. He's just in the deep smooth hole he can't climb up and there are armed guards right above the holes anyway. It seems hopeless. Tibius dies, causing Groot to grieve, but Rocket then realizes Tibius was an android and is full of machine parts. He fashions a gun out of his body and him and Groot escape the prison together, Rocket getting to learn to understand Groot and to finally care for someone else and trust again, and then they eventually will be starting their lives as co-op bounty hunters.
As the story arc, it would be Rocket discovering what he wants to see himself as, recognizing himself as an actual person and not just an experiment or a freak of nature. Like he KNOWS he's those things, but he learns to not let people treat him that way. I'd also want to at least show Groot and him having some good times towards the end, kinda showing that their relationship dynamic. It would also have him discovering to trust again, even if it's just a little bit. We'll see him at his worst before picking up the pieces and moving on with his life and learning from it all.

How to Teach Children About Business and Finance Through Free Online Browser Games
Tumblr media
Financial education is often overlooked in the education system, much like other crucial life skills such as home maintenance and tax filing.
This oversight poses a significant problem as children grow up to become financially illiterate adults. As a result, they face ongoing financial struggles, limited opportunities for economic growth, and vulnerability to scams and predatory practices.
Ted Beck, the president and CEO of the National Endowment for Financial Education, emphasizes the importance of financial literacy for children, as it is a skill that will serve them throughout their lives.
"We all need to know how to manage our money," asserts Beck, noting that while some fortunate students learn about it in schools, it is essential to ensure that all children are equipped to handle their financial futures.
Beck even suggests that parents should begin teaching financial literacy to their toddlers, as this skill should be progressively nurtured throughout childhood. An effective way for children to grasp the concept of money as a "medium of exchange" is through educational games and activities.
Tumblr media
How to Teach Children About Business and Finance Through Free Online Browser Games
It's a well-known fact that children are drawn to video games because they find them exciting and rewarding. Building on this, you can motivate your child to learn while having fun by introducing them to free online finance and business browser games available on Mortgage Calculator.
These games provide an entertaining and interactive platform through which your child can develop essential financial literacy skills.
Tumblr media
Free Money Games on Mortgage Calculator
Mortgage Calculator is a versatile website that caters to both adults and children. While adults can use it to budget for their mortgage, children can engage in educational play.
Tumblr media
The website offers a wide range of interactive money games, covering topics such as grocery shopping, cryptocurrency, software development, and real estate. This diverse selection ensures that children can learn not only about financial literacy but also explore areas like software development and block coding.
No Downloads, No Ads, No Worries
The games available on Mortgage Calculator are conveniently hosted directly on their website, allowing your children to play them directly in the browser without any need for downloading.
These games are completely free of in-game advertisements, ensuring that your children can focus on playing and learning without any distractions. Moreover, these games are also compatible with mobile devices, allowing you to enjoy them on the go.
Additionally, after careful analysis of the website, it can be confirmed that there are no advertisements present on the entire site. Therefore, you can rest assured that your children would not accidentally click on any unwanted ads while browsing the website.
Tumblr media
Money Game – Grocery Cashier
I highly recommend children give Grocery Cashier a try, as it is an engaging finance game that immerses players in the role of a cashier at a grocery store. In this game, players are responsible for processing payments from customers, allowing them to practice and improve their basic mathematics skills, such as addition and subtraction while using a virtual cash register that doubles as a calculator to input the correct amounts.
To add an element of challenge, each customer has a time limit, which progressively decreases as the game progresses. This feature encourages players to think quickly and make accurate calculations within a limited timeframe.
I appreciate the fact that players have the opportunity to learn more about the game before deciding to play it. Additionally, the inclusion of basic tutorials in every game ensures that players have a clear understanding of how to play and maximize their learning experience.
Overall, Grocery Cashier not only provides an entertaining gaming experience but also helps children strengthen their mathematical skills and develop quick thinking in a simulated real-world scenario.
Tumblr media
Software Development Game - Code Panda
Mortgage Calculator goes beyond financial games. It also features block coding games, a prominent part of modern school curricula. These games help children understand basic concepts of coding and improve their cognitive functions.
One such game is Code Panda, where children are encouraged to use block codes to guide a panda through a grid and reach the bamboo. With 32 unique stages available, the game offers ample opportunities for children to engage and delve deeper into the world of block coding.
By playing Code Panda and similar games, children not only have fun but also develop essential problem-solving skills and logical thinking. These games provide a hands-on experience in a playful environment, making it easier for children to grasp coding concepts.
Tumblr media
STEM Game – We Bare Bears Develobears
We Bare Bears Develobears is one of my top picks from the game list. It's an engaging STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) game designed to educate children about the various elements involved in creating a video game.
What I particularly enjoy about this game is the inclusion of a diverse range of mini-games that enable players to progress through different stages. As you play, you'll witness the bears' environment gradually improving, which adds to the overall experience. Moreover, the fact that it revolves around my favourite cartoon characters makes it even more appealing.
I strongly believe that this game has immense value for children as it helps enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. By immersing themselves in the game, they'll acquire valuable skills that can be applied beyond the virtual world.
Tumblr media
How to Teach Children About Business and Finance Through Free Online Browser Games
The education system often overlooks financial education, resulting in many adults lacking financial literacy. It is vital to expose children to money management at an early age.
Mortgage Calculator addresses this issue by providing free online finance and business browser games that combine learning with enjoyment.
The games on Mortage Calculator empower children to acquire practical knowledge and develop valuable skills beyond the virtual realm. Ultimately, they equip children for a financially secure future by enabling them to make informed financial decisions.
Start your child's financial education journey today by exploring the games on Mortgage Calculator and helping them build a strong foundation for a lifetime of financial literacy.

As a Canadian who spent a few years in the states, US healthcare is not just unnecessarily expensive, its unnecessarily confusing and I think that contributes:
In Canada, my big healthcare needs are covered by the provincial government. So when I need care I go to the front desk, I show them my provincial health card and all the money is handled between the provider and the government, I never pay anything. If something is not covered by my healthcare they tell me clearly and up front.
Like most Canadians I carry some supplemental health insurance to fill the gaps because our coverage is unfortunately not as good as most European systems. This insurance also tells me exactly what it covers, often down to the dollar amount. I've never been surprised by the amount I have to pay and there's no complexity either they pay X% of the cost or they pay up to $Y and I cover the rest. I've also never had insurance limit which doctors they'll pay for (although this does happen it just hasn't happened to me). I have also never encountered a deductible in Canadian health insurance (I do know what that is though, because my tenant's insurance has one).
Conversely, going to the US here was my experience even though I only got very boring minor or preventative care while I was there. I never needed ongoing chronic care, I was never seriously ill, and nothing I needed was rare or unsual... oh, and I worked at a major teaching hospital.
The list of things they wouldn't cover was long and totally random, like, based on super specific types of surgery for the same condition, it was wild and also meant I wouldn't have been able to read the documents without my biomedical degree, I have no idea how less educated people cope at all.
They wouldn't tell me directly if a vaccine would or wouldn't be covered even when I asked directly on the phone ahead of time I got "probably".
In addition to the money I paid every month to have insurance some coverage didn't kick in until I had paid a certain deductible... but not all of it... just some things on the long list.
There was like 3 other kinds of weird extra payments I was expected to make, not just a deductible, there was a copayment fee for some things and a coinsurance fee for other things (I still don't know what the difference is) and I think there were others I didn't encounter.
Rather than give me a straight dollar or percentage value I waited literal months to be sent a bill and they literally refused to tell me how much it would be in advance (I was told "somewhere between $0 and $1500 dollars).
Sometimes they covered certain nurse practitioners in the same office! But you didn't know which nurse you got in advance and could not ask, so how much you paid would be a surprise!!!
And every American I asked about this said this was actually a normal and pretty positive experience?!?!?!!? While I was there feeling like I was trying to bargain with some sort of eldritch entity that was also drunk.
If I thought I'd have to deal with this level of nonsensical randomness from my provincial government I would be terrified to. I have a lot more empathy for Americans' concern about it now.

Revolutionizing Refreshment: The Rise of Healthy Drink Vending Machines
Convenience, nowadays, has been sacrificed instead of health in the world today. All that's changing is through healthy drink vending machines where you can now have all those refreshing and healthy beverages from flavored water to natural juices, protein shakes, and even herbal teas.
As wellness is a new way of life, the move to healthy choices in vending machines represents the shift in demand and, as such, brings healthy drinks to every corner of the earth more than ever.
Why Healthy Vending Machines Are Thriving?
With people becoming increasingly health conscious, traditional snack and beverage vending machines have faced much criticism for the perpetuation of negative dietary habits. There have been studies to show the adverse effects due to a lump of high sugar and caffeine content-a common characteristic of most drinks in vending machine. The move towards healthier drinks in vending machines caters to one of the huge demands in the market, that is, convenience and health-friendly options with standards at par with health standards in the present era.
Healthier vending options also support busy people who need a quick yet healthy solution. From corporate offices to schools and gyms, healthy drink vending machines meet people where they are, providing them with access to choices that support their wellness goals. This trend is transforming the vending industry, turning what was once seen as a source of empty calories into a valuable partner in healthier living.
Advantages of Healthy Drink Vending Machines:
1. Health Promotion in the Workplace and Schools:
Healthy drinks in vending machines promote health initiatives in different environments. Workplaces benefit by having increased focus and productivity through hydration, keeping employees away from afternoon energy crashes because of sugar crashes. Schools also benefit by keeping healthy choices before students for their nutritional intake in line with an educational goal of teaching healthy habits from an early age.
2. Diversity of Healthier Beverages:
The healthy drink vending machines are more than just the soda and coffee machines. It will contain low-calorie and low-sugar beverages like natural fruit juices, coconut water, and electrolyte-enhanced beverages. This entices customers who desire to stay hydrated without compromising on their health goals.
3. Environmental Choices for the Green Customer:
Healthy beverage vending machines employ cans and returnable bottles for most of their products. This helps them follow the overall trend of sustainability and environmentally friendly consumption globally. Such beverages help consumers to have healthy and environment-friendly products at the same time. Contemporary consumers eagerly await healthier and more environmentally friendly options in terms of the product used for vending. Vending machine operators are much more alert today when it comes to provisioning to their customers with products, that conform to the expectations of a modern consumer.
4. Additional Sources of Revenue for Sellers and Owners:
The inclusion of healthy products boosts the income from vending machine operators. As such, this is realized by the fact that many people will pay a small amount more for healthy quality drinks. In this respect, healthy drinks vending machines attract more people and new markets for wellness operators operating in gyms and health clubs.
Conclusion
The healthy drink vending machine market never seems to be slowing down. Modern technology has advanced the vending machine to be more intelligent in accepting cashless payments, the touch screen interface, and even live inventory tracking. This can help vendors ensure that only the most popular and commonly purchased items are stocked inside the machines to avoid wasting much and ensure a more seamless experience for the consumers.
In addition, rising trends of personalized nutrition mold drinks that surface on a drink vending machine. Maybe we could see a vending machine with preferences for some customers' health or preferences over recommending such drinks to an individual consumer. That is where a vending experience that currently does not provide specific well-being goals could reach tailored solutions.
As society moves in the direction of healthier living, the simple drink vending machine becomes a modern source of good, healthy, ready-on-the-go options that facilitate people's wellness journeys in achieving quality beverages that both nurture the body and minimize impacts on the environment. As seen in schools or offices, the change created by healthy vending choices will be evident, easy access to making better drink decisions for consumers.

The No-Nonsense Approach To Note Investing With Dan Deppen & Jay Conner
Private Money Academy Conference:
https://www.JaysLiveEvent.com
Free Report:
Dan Deppen’s mission is to help his clients earn outsized returns with mortgage notes so they can achieve their retirement and side income goals.
His clients come to him because they want a no-nonsense approach to note investing and a step-by-step system that won’t waste their time.
Dan’s journey to a better life Meet Dan Deppen – Focused on making note investing more accessible to investors who want to create side incomes and grow their retirement savings.
Dan started his career as a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry and later got his MBA from the University of Colorado. He was a product manager at large companies like Oracle and Amazon AWS, as well as some small startups.
Along the way, he was always interested in investing, starting with stocks at the age of 19 and then moving to options trading.
There were also some individual entrepreneurship efforts along the way, which had mixed results. The goal was always to create financial independence and build a business that was his, not subject to corporate whims.
After investing through the dot com blowup and the financial crisis, it was apparent how quickly the stock market can drop and how little control an individual has in such a large market. He wanted to move some of his net worth into real estate, but even back then, cap rates on rentals in the Denver area were challenging. Then in seeking alternative real estate investments, Dan discovered notes. After a few months of getting oriented, he dove in.
Despite paying too much for his first note and joining an expensive mastermind program that didn’t deliver, we kept going. Over the past several years, Dan has scaled up his note portfolio and incorporated his lessons learned into a set of systems and processes that make note investing easier and less time-consuming than it has been for the past 40 years.
Now, in addition to operating his portfolio and delivering returns for his investors, he helps new note investors get started and existing note investors become more profitable and effective.

Cybersecurity Awareness Month: Protect Your Devices and Your Data
Tumblr media
October is not just about pumpkins and Halloween costumes—it’s also Cybersecurity Awareness Month. As our lives become more connected through smartphones, tablets, and computers, it's essential to stay aware of the potential cyber threats that lurk online. Whether you're using your phone for work, shopping, or social media, you’re at risk of falling victim to cyberattacks. In this blog post, we’ll explore how you can protect your devices and personal information with some simple but effective cybersecurity practices.
1. Use Strong, Unique Passwords One of the easiest ways for hackers to gain access to your data is through weak or reused passwords. Use a password manager to create and store strong, unique passwords for each of your accounts. Try to make each password a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid using easily guessable information like birthdays or common words. Password managers like LastPass or Dashlane can help by generating complex passwords and storing them securely.
2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your online accounts. Even if a hacker gets ahold of your password, they would still need a second form of identification—usually a code sent to your phone or email—to access your account. Be sure to enable 2FA wherever possible, especially on important accounts like email, banking, and social media.
3. Update Your Devices Regularly Cybercriminals are constantly finding new ways to exploit vulnerabilities in outdated software. Regularly updating your devices ensures that you have the latest security patches and features. Most operating systems and apps will notify you when an update is available—don’t ignore these prompts. Set your devices to update automatically to ensure you're always protected.
4. Be Wary of Phishing Scams Phishing scams are one of the most common methods hackers use to gain access to personal information. These scams often come in the form of emails, texts, or social media messages that appear to be from a legitimate source. They may ask you to click a link or provide personal information. Always verify the sender’s email address and look out for suspicious URLs before clicking any links.
5. Secure Your Wi-Fi Network An unsecured Wi-Fi network can be a gateway for hackers to access your personal data. Make sure your home Wi-Fi network is secured with a strong password, and consider using WPA3 encryption for enhanced protection. Avoid using public Wi-Fi for sensitive activities like online banking, and use a virtual private network (VPN) if you need to access important information while on the go.
6. Backup Your Data Ransomware attacks are on the rise, where hackers lock you out of your files and demand payment to release them. Regularly backing up your data to a cloud service or an external hard drive can protect you from losing important files. If you're hit with ransomware, having a backup means you can restore your data without paying the ransom.
7. Install Antivirus and Anti-Malware Software Having up-to-date antivirus and anti-malware software on your devices can help prevent cyberattacks. These tools are designed to detect and remove malicious software that could compromise your data. Many modern antivirus programs also offer features like firewalls and browser protection, giving you an additional layer of security while you browse the web.
8. Educate Yourself and Your Family Cybersecurity is not just an individual responsibility—it’s a collective one. Make sure everyone in your household is aware of basic cybersecurity practices. Teach your kids about the dangers of sharing personal information online and how to recognize suspicious emails and messages.
Conclusion: Stay Safe in the Digital World Cybersecurity Awareness Month is a reminder of the importance of protecting yourself in today’s digital age. With cyber threats evolving every day, staying vigilant and implementing the best practices outlined above can keep your personal information and devices safe. Don’t wait until it’s too late—take action now to secure your digital life.

Learning a new language like French can be an exciting and rewarding journey. Whether you’re looking to boost your career, prepare for travel, or simply expand your linguistic skills, finding the right French classes near me is key to achieving success. However, affordability and effectiveness often play a huge role in determining which course to choose. Here are some tips to help you find a course that strikes the perfect balance between quality and cost.
1. Consider Different Learning Formats
There are various formats to choose from when it comes to learning French. In-person classes provide direct interaction with the instructor and classmates, fostering a more immersive experience. On the other hand, online classes offer flexibility, allowing you to learn from the comfort of your home. Online options tend to be more budget-friendly, making them a great choice for those looking to save money while still receiving quality instruction.
2. Look for Group Lessons
Group lessons are generally more affordable compared to private tutoring. These classes allow you to learn alongside others, promoting collaboration and mutual support. While private lessons can offer tailored instruction, group classes often provide just the right balance of personalization and affordability, especially for beginners.
3. Research the Instructors’ Qualifications
When evaluating a French course, always look into the instructors' credentials. Experienced and certified teachers can make a big difference in your learning experience. Choose a course where the instructors have a solid background in teaching French, ensuring that you’re getting the most value for your investment.
4. Check for Additional Resources and Materials
Some courses provide extra learning materials like workbooks, practice quizzes, or access to language apps. These resources can enhance your learning experience without adding to the overall cost. Before enrolling, ask if such materials are included in the course fee, as they can significantly boost the value of your chosen French class.
5. Trial Lessons and Flexible Payments
Many language schools and online platforms offer trial classes or demo sessions. Taking advantage of these can help you assess the quality of the course and teaching style. Additionally, look for institutions that offer flexible payment plans or discounts, which can make learning more affordable without compromising on quality.
Conclusion
Finding affordable and effective French classes doesn’t have to be a challenge. By considering different learning formats, exploring group lessons, and researching qualified instructors, you can make an informed decision that fits both your budget and language goals. At Frenchtree, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality French courses that are not only accessible but also designed to help you reach fluency.

Additionally, air ticket booking is a high-volume, high-value service that can significantly boost your revenue. By combining it with Paypoint’s services, you can attract more customers and provide a one-stop solution for their travel and digital banking needs.
Step 1: Understand the Paypoint Franchisee Model
Paypoint offers a franchise model that enables individuals and businesses to offer a wide array of services such as banking, insurance, utility bill payments, mobile recharges, and travel bookings. By choosing to Get Paypoint Franchisee, you can offer these services, including becoming an Air Ticket Booking Agent and IRCTC Railway Ticket Booking Agent.

The platform is designed to be user-friendly, and it requires minimal investment, making it accessible even for small businesses or individuals.
Step 2: Steps to Get Paypoint Franchisee
Eligibility Criteria: Before applying to become a Paypoint franchisee, ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria. Typically, you need to have a physical location, such as a shop or office, from which you can offer your services. This is crucial because many customers prefer visiting a local agent for travel bookings or digital banking services. You should also have a basic understanding of technology and customer service since the services will be provided through Paypoint’s online platform.
Apply for the Franchise: To Get Paypoint Franchisee, you need to visit their official website and fill out an application form. The application will require you to provide details about your business, location, and the types of services you wish to offer. You can also contact Paypoint’s customer service for guidance on the application process.
Training and Onboarding: Once your application is approved, Paypoint will provide you with training to help you understand how to use their platform. This training is crucial as it will teach you how to offer various services, including becoming an Air Ticket Booking Agent, IRCTC Railway Ticket Booking Agent, and setting up a Create Digital Bank shop. Start Offering Services: After training, you will be provided with a franchisee ID, and you can immediately start offering services. Step 3: Creating a Digital Bank Shop with Paypoint
As a Paypoint franchisee, one of the most attractive services you can offer is setting up a Create Digital Bank shop. With digital banking gaining momentum in India, customers prefer quick and easy access to banking services without having to visit traditional banks. By becoming a Create Digital Bank shop owner, you can provide services such as opening bank accounts, money transfers, Aadhaar-enabled payments, and other financial services.
Here’s how offering a Create Digital Bank shop can enhance your business:
Increased Footfall: Offering digital banking services will attract more customers to your business, as people are increasingly looking for convenient ways to access banking services.
Multiple Revenue Streams: You can charge service fees for digital banking transactions, increasing your earnings.
Enhanced Customer Trust: By offering banking services, you position yourself as a trusted, multi-service provider in your local area, which can lead to repeat business.
Step 4: Becoming an IRCTC Railway Ticket Booking Agent
The Indian Railways is one of the largest and most used transportation networks in the world, making railway ticket booking a valuable service. As an IRCTC Railway Ticket Booking Agent, you can offer convenient ticket booking services to your clients, whether they are traveling for business or leisure. This service can be especially beneficial in areas where customers do not have easy access to online booking platforms.
By combining your Air Ticket Booking Agent services with IRCTC railway ticket booking, you create a comprehensive travel booking solution that caters to all travel needs.
Step 5: Promoting Your Business
Once you become a Paypoint franchisee and start offering services, it's crucial to promote your business effectively. Here are some tips to market your business:
Leverage Social Media: Use platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp to promote your services. You can run special offers on air ticket bookings or railway bookings to attract customers.
Create Local Awareness: Distribute flyers, put up banners, and create a presence in local markets to make people aware of the services you offer.
Referral Programs: Encourage your existing customers to refer others by offering discounts or incentives for every new customer they bring in.
