No. 5 has big “seek him i‘th‘ other place yourself” energy
On second thought I think Hamlet said like three of these actually. O the cycles of genius!
Things you can stay instead of "k1lled", "murked" or "unalived":
involuntarily converted to room temperature
cancelled on a corporeal level
successfully transitioned into fertiliser
rendered permanently horizontal
sent to investigate the potential existence of an afterlife

Book One: Gold (Prompto x Reader) Chapter XVI
Back at the entrance of Steyliff Grove, Aranea stood beside Biggs and Wedge. "Congrats. That concludes your "training." You've still got a hard path ahead, but don't let anyone tell you how to walk it."
"You may have been hired under false pretenses, but your assistance was invaluable all the same," Ignis said.
She smirked slightly. "Hmph. Tell me something I don't know. You can spare the pleasantries."
"Take care walking your path, Aranea."
"Oh, right. Thanks—I will. And I'll "train" you some more if our paths cross again. Oh, and before I forget—His Excellency instructed me to give you boys and firefly a ride back. If you need a lift, feel free to hop on." Aranea walks off with her acquaintances.
Ignis pulls out his phone and checks it just as Prompto sighed in relief. "Well, glad that's over with!"
The strategist lowered his phone after reading the information Cindy sent him. "Noct, I have just received word from Cindy."
"And?" Noctis asked.
"We're to return to Lestallum. Her friend works as an engineer at the power plant. She'll take care of the mythril."
"Uh-huh. And that'll take care of our boat problem!" The sharpshooter cheered.
"Once you're rested and ready, I suggest we hasten back to Lestallum. Make sure you're prepared," Ignis stated.
"Shame to say goodbye to such a nice fishing spot. Wanna see what's biting before we bail?"
Noctis' eyes gleamed at the thought of fishing at the Vesperpool. "Hell yeah I wanna fish."
Before the prince could take another step, Callyx came stomping over with a sharp glare directed towards (Y/n). He walked straight towards her, but was stopped when Prompto built up the courage to place himself between the two guardians. The man was unamused and growled at the boy, "Step aside, human. I won't hesitate to kill you. Either way, I get what I want."
"What's your deal?" Prompto asked, glaring back at him.
"That damned bitch standing behind you," Callyx spat.
The marksman was about to summon his pistol, but stopped when Ardyn sauntered over with an eerie smile plastered to his face. "Now, now. This squabble should be solved righteously."
The emerald-eyed spirit looked towards the chancellor. "The hell're you proposing?"
"A duel, to put it in simple terms."
Callyx scoffed. "You just want some entertainment."
"Do you not desire to settle this dispute, Callyx?" Ardyn questioned his guardian.
"Of course I do."
The chancellor casted his somewhat odd smile in (Y/n)'s direction. "Do you accept?"
Prompto turned around to face his girlfriend. "Why don't we just leave, (Y/n)? Let's forget about these guys."
"Couldn't agree more," Noctis spoke up.
(Y/n) thought for a few seconds before meeting Ardyn's gaze. "If I go through with this, what happens if I win?"
"You and your companions can be on your merry way without the fear of a target on your back. Of course, only for a short while. If you were to lose, I believe Callyx will deal with you personally," the auburn-haired man answered.
She scowled at him. "You're threatening me?"
"Of course not, my dear. I only believe it to be fair if my dearest friend were to win, he'd get to do what he pleases with you. If he so desires to see your demise, he may dispose of you."
"What?" Prompto gasped. "No way! We're leaving."
Ignis saw (Y/n) bite her bottom lip. He could tell she was tempted to accept the duel to get the empire off their back for the time being. "(Y/n), you need not entertain these men."
The (h/c)-haired spirit glanced over at the advisor. After a few seconds, she hung her head. "But if I can get the empire off our backs even just for a little bit..."
Ardyn stepped around Prompto, earning a glare from him, and held out his hand towards the girl. "Do you consent to the terms, my dear?"
(Y/n) glances at Callyx for a split second before placing her hand in the chancellor's. She saw the look of concern on Prompto's face, quickly averting her eyes. "I accept the duel."
"Then it's settled." Ardyn glances at his guardian. "Let us venture out, Callyx."
The three boys, (Y/n), and even Aranea follow Ardyn and Callyx. They trek a little ways away from the ruins and to a vast, open area. It was the perfect place for a fight. The two spirits faced each other while the others stood on the sideline. From her peripheral, (Y/n) could see Prompto nervously fidgeting where he stood.
Ardyn took his hat off and explained the one rule of the duel—no transforming. The two guardians were shocked at the rule, but they didn't argue.
(Y/n) and Callyx put some distance between them, summoning their weapons. Ardyn placed his hat back on his head as he signaled the start of the duel.
Callyx was the first to attack, blinded by his anger from their previous battle at Fort Vaullery. His sword was easily deflected by the Creator's Blade wielded by (Y/n). She easily shoves him back, eyes narrowing when she saw black horns protruding from his forehead. Because the man was unable to keep his emotions in check, his spiritual and human forms were clashing. It was also possible for both forms to collide if a spirit desired to enhance their human body without turning into a complete beast. She was positive his horns had sprouted due to both possibilities. Since he was not in his tiger form, it wasn't breaking the rule. "You're not good at controlling your emotions, are you? Or do you really think the only way you can beat me is by enhancing  your body?"
"Shut the hell up," Callyx barked. "This time, I will be the victor no matter the cost."
(Y/n) rolled her eyes, deciding not to entertain him with words. Instead, she continued to block his attacks. She watched his every move closely, noticing a pattern as the fight dragged on. His movements were becoming more sloppy because of his out-of-control emotions. Although she was exhausted from their journey through Steyliff Grove, she had no issues blocking and sidestepping.
At one point, she sidestepped and kneed Callyx in the gut. He fell to his knees with the wind knocked out of him, but she wasn't finished just yet. With a roundhouse kick, she kicked him in the face and sent him crumbling to the ground. As he fell, his blade slipped out of his hand. He gritted his teeth in pain, eyes beginning to glow. She took a few steps back and saw not only his eyes were glowing but jade stripes had appeared on his cheeks. "You really are desperate..."
Callyx got back to his feet, grabbing his sword with a click of his tongue. "Damn you...!" He held up his hand and sent a powerful bolt of lightning directly towards her. It hit her directly in the abdomen, sending her flying backwards. She groaned painfully as she was still feeling the small effects from the quetzalcoatl's spell.
Even with the potion Prompto gave her, she was still slightly frazzled from the beast's lightning spell. "I hate lightning spells," she huffed, pushing herself off the ground. Eyes returning to her opponent, she saw Callyx was readying another lightning spell. Having no other choice, she enhanced her body the moment he sent another powerful bolt of lightning towards her. Her many tails sprouted from her lower back and wrapped around her protectively, deflecting the spell. Unwinding her tails from around her, she glowered at the spiky-haired man as she created a large fire vortex around him.
(Y/n) was taken aback when Callyx leapt through the flames, unfazed by the fire or the heat. He patted out a few flames on his clothes before charging at her with his blade now infused with a lightning spell. The girl quickly raised the Creator's Blade and blocked the sword before it could be plunged into her chest. She struggled against him, his strength becoming overwhelming because of his enhancements. Without hesitating, she used her tails to swat him away like a fly.
The golden-eyed spirit, with her free hand, conjured a series of throwing knives made of pure flames. She tossed them, each one impaling Callyx's body. He screamed at the top of his lungs as the small knives pierced his body and burnt him. Some even pinned him to the ground.
With an exhausted huff, (Y/n) strolled over to the male guardian. She jammed the Creator's Blade into his left shoulder, eliciting another howl of pain from him. His horns and stripes vanished while his eyes ceased glowing. She squatted down beside him with an unamused expression. "I really should kill you, but I refuse to stoop to your level. You may be the enemy, but I won't kill my own people."
Callyx managed to grin through the immense pain he was suffering from. "You might want to change that philosophy of yours. This won't be over until either one or both of us are dead."
Refusing to entertain him any longer, (Y/n) withdrew the Creator's Blade from Callyx's shoulder. She turned to the others and saw their expressions. Aranea was amused, Noctis and Ignis were impressed, and Ardyn was still smiling even with Callyx heavily wounded. When she saw Prompto's expression, she knew he was going to be mad at her for accepting the duel. He was most likely going to give her the silent treatment for some time since he wasn't fond of losing his temper with others.
"I believe I'm the victor," (Y/n) said, locking eyes with Ardyn. Her tails vanished as she walked over to the others.
"Indeed, you are," the chancellor cackled. He took off his hat and bowed. "I am quite impressed by your strength. A well-earned victory."
"This means you're gonna leave us alone, right?" Noctis asked.
"For the time being, yes. Once we meet across the sea, however, those terms become annulled," he explained. The prince was about to retort, but Ardyn continued. "Commodore Highwind, please see these gentlemen and lady safely from here while I tend to my dear Callyx." The chancellor walked away after helping the male guardian.
Aranea watched the two vanish before smirking at (Y/n). "Damn, firefly. You're just full of surprises. If you weren't with these guys, I'd ask you to join me. We could kick some serious ass together." She placed a hand on her hip. "Now then, you're headed to Lestallum, right? I'll take you there, but no further."
"Got it," Noctis replied.
"So, ready to ship out?"
"You bet. Let's fly."
The group returns to the ruins where Aranea left her drop ship. Everyone was safely aboard and they departed from the Vesperpool. (Y/n) was talking to Noctis and Ignis about her recent duel with Callyx, complimenting her on her skills. During the conversation, her eyes drifted over to Prompto. He was sitting on the floor of the drop ship away from everyone else, scrolling through the pictures on his camera.
Excusing herself, she walked over to him even though she knew he was giving her the silent treatment. She sat beside him with a sigh and glanced down at the camera, seeing he was examining the pictures he took inside Steyliff Grove. "Wow, those are all amazing shots, Prom," she said even though she was aware of the lack of response she'd receive in return.
She leaned back against the wall of the drop ship and stared up at the ceiling. "You're angry and I understand completely. I know you're gonna give me the silent treatment for a while and I don't blame you. Even though I made you mad, I don't regret trying to protect you and the others. But..." A sorrowful frown blossomed on her face. "Please trust in me more, Prom. Trust that I can handle myself in battle, even against someone like Callyx. I know you want to protect me, but you can't protect me from everything." She got to her feet and walked away.
Prompto gripped his camera tighter. He lifted his head to say something, but stopped himself when his eyes landed on her retreating form. There was truth in her words, but he wanted to believe he could protect her from everything. He also wanted to deny her accusation of not trusting her enough, but his urge to protect her stopped him from trusting in her capabilities wholeheartedly.
He mentally cursed himself and her for their current emotional turmoil. Looking back down at his camera, he tried to think of something else while scrolling through pictures. Unfortunately, the pictures he's taken of (Y/n) were appearing more frequently and caused his emotions to become even more entangled. In the end, he turned off the camera and took a short nap.
<——————————————<<<<<
A few hours later, they arrived in Lestallum with the Regalia. Aranea told them of the trouble at the power plant and how she would be unable to help. The group took it upon themselves to help with the issue and thanked the ex-mercenary as they parted ways with her.
At the power plant, they meet with Holly. She gives Noctis a safety suit and he puts it on before walking through the gate. Prompto chuckled at the raven-haired boy. "Lovin' that outfit, Noct!"
"Why don't you wear one?" He retorted.
"Well, that's the only one. And if anyone stands a fighting chance in there, it's you. Forget about fashion and go," Ignis stated.
"(Y/n) could help."
"I think I'll leave this in your capable hands," the spirit snickered.
"Ugh..." Noctis headed into the power plant to meet up with the hunter that went ahead of him.
While waiting for him to return, (Y/n) pinched the bridge of her nose with an exhausted sigh. She leaned against a large wooden crate when she felt a small dizzy spell wash over her. Prompto and Ignis noticed her state, but the strategist was the one to address her. "(Y/n), would you procure rooms for us at the Leville?"
She lifted her head. "Are you sure?"
"Yes. You are clearly exhausted." Ignis handed her enough gil for two rooms.
"I could use a nap..." She took the money, thanking him. She glanced at Prompto and saw he was going to say something, but he closed his mouth and looked away. With a sorrowful sigh, she spun on her heels and headed to the hotel. She forked over the gil for two rooms and wandered upstairs to the single bed room. She thought about jumping into the soft mattress, but instead went to take a shower in the small bathroom attached to the room.
An hour passed while (Y/n) bathed. Most of the time while she was in the shower, she stood underneath the shower head and fell into deep thought. Her mind was filled with many thoughts, some good and some bad. An entire hour had passed before she knew it.
With a towel wrapped around her body, the spirit wandered out of the bathroom. She sat on the edge of the double bed, sighing heavily. Her (h/c) locks dripped as she hung her head. It wasn't long before the thoughts from the shower came back. She replayed what she said to Prompto inside Aranea's drop ship. A groan fell from her lips. "Why did I say that...?" She combed her hands through her damp tresses. "I could've just said nothing. He deserves to be angry," she mumbled to herself. Now thinking clearly, she came up with the decision to apologize to Prompto once he and the others returned from the power plant.
Standing up, (Y/n) walked over to the chair where she left her clothes. The moment she unwound the towel from around her body, the door to the room opened. Her eyes widened in horror, body petrified as Prompto walked into the room. She couldn't move an inch when the boy's eyes landed on her naked form. His cheeks turned a bright red and he swallowed hard, eyes raking over her exposed body. Realizing he was staring, he quickly turned around. "O-Oh, six...! I-I should've knocked! I-I didn't mean to, I swear!"
The girl, once being able to move again, quickly snatched up her towel and wrapped it back around her. "I-It's not your fault. I completely forgot to lock the door," she stated in a shaky voice. She hugged the towel against her body, her own cheeks turning red. "Gods, I should've taken my clothes to the bathroom with me..."
Prompto fidgeted with his fingers, cheeks set ablaze. He had no idea what to do with himself. He fidgeted nervously and stared down at the floor. His mind kept mentally showing him an image of his naked girlfriend. He scolded himself for thinking of dirty thoughts. To prevent an awkward silence from settling over them, he cleared his throat and changed the subject for both their sakes. "I-I came by to apologize. You were right..."
(Y/n) kept her back turned to him. "No, I was in the wrong. It was stupid of me to take on that ridiculous duel. I know I said it was to protect you and the others, but that just felt like an excuse. There was really no point, but I was blinded by my emotions. I wanted to give Callyx a piece of my mind and thought having the empire off our backs for a while would've been nice. I should've just ignored those bastards. I'm sorry, Prom." Her hands bunched up the hem of the towel just above her cleavage.
The moment (Y/n) built up enough courage to turn around, two arms wrapped around her from behind. She gasped in shock as her back came in contact with a warm chest. Her muscles tensed slightly before relaxing. Prompto's blonde hair tickled her cheek when he nuzzled his head against the side of hers. His nose brushed against her ear, causing her to shudder. She didn't move her hands away from her towel because it would fall again if she let go. She enjoyed his warmth even though she was embarrassed to be held in his arms with only a towel around her.
"What you said on the drop ship... You're right. I can't protect you from everything, but I'm gonna try my damndest to," Prompto whispered. "I know you can handle yourself in battle. It's just... I hate seeing you get hurt. I'm sorry for ignoring you, (Y/n)."
Her heart was a racing a mile a minute inside her chest. "It's okay, Prom." She lifted a hand and placed it on one of his arms that was wound around her shoulders. "With all that off our chests, c-can I please change?"
Prompto's eyes widen and he immediately backs away from her. "Y-Yeah, of course! I'll, um...I-I'll wait in the bathroom until you're done."
"You don't have to wait in the bathroom. Just turn around."
"I-I think the bathroom would be better..."
She turned around to face him with a puzzled expression. "What's the issue with just turning around?"
Prompto rubbed the back of his neck, looking away from her. "I d-don't trust myself to not take another peek..."
The girl giggled at his honesty. "Then you best head to the bathroom."
He nodded and dashed into the bathroom, closing the door behind him.

The King of Valandi Chapter 3
"Your Highness, I brought you something." Gustaf looked up from his book and towards the left, where the voice came from. It was his sister Audiena. Which turned his mood around pratically instantly. "Oh, you don't have to call me that, just call me Gustaf." "You are the King Your Highness. I shouldn't refer to you as if you were a commener. I insist." "No, you are to refer to me as your brother or by my name. Doing otherwise isn't necessary. That's an order." Audiena curtsied. "I undersand Y-Gustaf." Gustaf smiled at her. "Good. Then there shouldn't be any issues. I almost forgot, what did you need?" Audiena turned behind the doorway, and came back in with a tray. It had a kettle, a tea-cup, and a plate of cake. "I heard you tend to like this." "Aw, Audiena, you didn't have to-" "It's alright. I want nothing more than to see you smile." Gustaf gestured for her to put the tray down on the table, and took the tea-cup. "It smells sweet. Did you put honey in this?" "Yes." "Oh how did you know?!" "Hahaha. I have my ways." Gustaf took a sip. "Interesting." Gustaf looked down back at his book. Audiena did the same. "What is that about?" "It's a collection of stories. The one I'm reading is about someone climbine out of hell through a spider's thread." "Hm, that's weird." "I know, I probably shouldn't be reading this." Gustaf put the cup down and looked toward the land below he balcony. Audiena walked over to the railing on the balcony. "It's beautiful ain't it?" "Yes of course. I love it up here." Gustaf walked and stood next to her. Looking down at the large garden he had outside the palace walls. "Reminds of that one day we were playing out here." "The day you got taken away?" "Yeah...I hate our parents." Audiena giggled at that statement. "Me too." She looked around, and spotted a particular tree in the far distance. She squinted her eyes at it. The sillouhette looked like an orange tree. "Brother, look!" She pointed towards it. Gustaf found the spot very quickly. Which Audiena found unsual given how hard it was for her to figure out what it was. "How did you-" "I've considered getting one for a while." Then Audiena got an idea. "Perhaps, I could get some oranges from there to you?" Gustaf nearly gasped at the suggestion. "You just got here a month ago." "Is that a problem?" "No. Just, I don't want to risk losing you again." Gustaf pouted. Looking back at her with pleading eyes. Audiena almost fell for it. Almost. "I'll be fine I promise." She said, putting her hand over top her heart. Gustaf looked at her hand, then back up at her face. "I suppose, but your bringing someone with you to keep you safe!" "Who may that be?" "Uh...my Swordswoman Guescline! She's quite strong and intelligent. And poses the loylaty to protect you." Audiena noded. "Alright, it's sunset, so tomorrow even I'll have her accompany me on my trip to town."
The next day, as promised, Audiena made her way to the city near the capitol. On the way there, she and interacted non-stop. They got along real well, and respected one another. When they got there, she as expected, picked some oranges from it. When she was done she turned away to leave with Franz, but she immediately felt like she had walked into a brick wall. It startled her so much she almost dropped the basket. When she looked up, she saw what looked like a prince. He had red clothing, brown hair, and a crown. "Oh, sorry ma'am." Audiena blushed. Mesmerized by his appearance and politeness. "Oh, no dear, that's quite alright." She said with a smile. One that enchanted the prince. "What is your name Madame?" Audiena curtsied. "Princess Aud Hakonardottir of Lade." "Oh, you must be the daughter of the King of Valandi." Audiena giggled. "I'm his sister not daughter. The poor man doesn't even have a mistress, let alone a wife." She corrected him as politely as she could. Fortunately it seemed to work. It was likely her tone. Since her words could be easily misinterpreted. "Where are you from? I don't recognize you." The prince looked put towards the distant countryside. "The neighboring Kingdom Germaine. Prince Leo of Germaine." He said as he bowed. Audiena couldn't help but blush. "I've heard a great deal about you. You have reputation for being sweet and kind towards your subjects." "Well I wouldn't call them ny subjects since my father still has the throne." "Nonsense! You are a prince!" Audiena cupped his hands. Both their faces resembled apples. Leo glanced at her basket. "Are you picking oranges for your King?" "Yes, their his favorite fruit." Audiena curtsied again, before she began to walk away. "I'll see you around." "Goodbye!" She walked up to Atlanta who was leaning on a wall waiting for her. "Who was that Audiena?" "A prince from the neighboring kingdom."
"Ah come one, Leo, why do you have to be so naive sometimes? Wondering off into another kingdom with only a few guards to protect you? You were never trained in self defense. Someone could easily assassinate you. I get you like to explore, to get out, to obtain fresh air, but, please be safe. Leo." "Alfreine, who are you talking to?" Leo suddenly walked into the corridor with a smirk. "Your weird." Alfreine sighed. "Oh come on Leo..." he pouted. "Hey, wipe that frown off your face! I'm not poking fun of you!" Leo took Alfreine by the shoulders. "Don't get sad! I want  you to be happy my friend!" Alfreine smiled. "I'm glad your parents adopted me, even though I won't ever get on the throne." "Yeah, sorry, only legitmate children allowed. Besides, what was I supposed to do? Just let you starve out there when you were only 9 years old?" "Ha, I guess. You know, I feel you and your family care about me more than mine." "Good, because they abandoned you. Obviously they don't care about you!"
Meanwhile, in the Grand Hall, Countess Suiko hesitantly put her hand out in front of Gustaf. Which he happily took. With both a smile and a blush. "I take it you like me dear?" Suiko looks away from him and scoffs. "Do not even." "Aw my dear, don't be salty. I love you. Marrying you will make me happier than ever!" Suiko frowned at him. "Well, darling, you've killed so many innocent people I don't even want to think about it!" she hissed harshly. She disliked him and attempted to intentionally hurt his feelings. Instead of him getting upset or angry, Gustaf felt like hearts were floating above him. "SHE CALLED ME DARLING! AHHAHAHHAHHA!" Gustaf pulled her arm and ran in a circle with her in his grasp. Nearly causing Suiko to fall. Suiko looked at her advisor. Alexio. Who looked like he was going to cry. Then at Gustaf's Maids of Honor. Unlike Alexio, she gave them cold stern looks. Since they were responsible for convincing her father to have her marry the King after they discovered portrait of her in his bedroom. As well as a piece of paper. Which matched Gustaf's handwritting, was found on his desk in his room, and detailed explicit fantasies with him and Suiko. After the awkward discoveries, in order to make him happy, they decided to arrange a marriage with Suiko and Gustaf. However, Suiko wasn't happy. After a series of unwanted praise from Gustaf, Suiko threw her hand, and stormed away. Gustaf cupped his hands and grinned as she left.
Suiko walked outside to the gardens of the town. While Alexio followed. She looked at a red chrysanthemum. "You remind me of my true love." She picked the flower and smelt it. The scent enticed her. Alexio hopefully smiled. "Who might that be?" "My dearest, Leo." Suiko said, her heart fluttering with romance. Alexio kept his composure but fought the urge to cry. "Well, I suppose you like him more than the kimg?" "Ah, of course! He is much more sweet, and less of a spoiled brat." Suiko glanced at the palace walls. "I hope I can escape this wretched land and get back home so I can atlast see my prince again." "You will, I'm sure you will." "Yes, I desire it! You know, Leo does like to come out here and admire the beauty?" "Actually, I heard he'd be here today." "WHAT?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!" "SORRY!" "I QUICKLY NEED TO FIND A ROSE! OH RIGHT THERE!" "TAKE IT!" "I GOT IT!" "SUIKO, HE'S HERE!" "AHHHHHH!" The frantic Suiko dashed up to Leo and Alfreine with a rose behind her back. "Hey!" "Oh, hello ma'am." Her face as red as the flower she wielded, Suiko pulled it from behind her back and handed it to the prince. "Ooh! Dear, you didn't have to-" "Please, take it. It suits you!" Leo's face became pink. "Ah, okay. Thank you." He took the rose, resulting in an excited Suiko runing with Alexio to the side. "Oh my gosh! He took it!" "I saw that. Congrats!" "Come Alfreine, let's get something to eat to celebrate!" "Actually, Suiko," "Hm?" "He's royalty. If you marry him, you coud get away from Gustaf."
"Where is Suiko, your highness?" Gustaf pouted with a sad look on his face. "She left a while ago. I can't wait for the wedding!" A smile quickly went to his face. "Ahaha! One day Suiko, you will understand my love for you!" Gustaf cheered as he danced with a portrait of Suiko in his arms. Kyoto grinned. "I knew this would work well for you." Then came the sound. The bell rang. Gustaf glanced at a clock, it wasn't tea time. So it could only mean one other thing. "Oh, if you may excuse me Your Highness, I'll go have that discussion with your ministers you planned a few days ago." Gustaf noded as she turned around and left. He put his portrait back, and waited on his throne. Quickly, his chief executive, secretary of the capital, and cabinet showed up and went on with their discussinos after bowing.
KNOCK KNOCK!
"Oh dear, who might that be?" Gustaf groaned in annoyance. "Enter." The door open and Audiena walked in. Which very quickly turned his mood around. "Audiena! I didn't expect you!" Audiena glanced at the others in the room. "Oh, am I interupting brother?" "No! Take a seat, what did you need?" His sister stood near him, and handed him a folded piece of paper. "Ah, what is this?" "I'm not sure, all I was told was that it was a letter from Suiko's adivsor, Alexio." "Awwwwww! What did he want to tell me about my little flower?" Gustaf unfolded the letter.
Your Highness King Haakon XI,
I regret to inform you, Suiko has called off the engagement, and is leaving the country. Along with forfiting her title as countess. She is leaving with Prince Leo III, to the kingdom of Germaine in a few days. She says she's sick of you, and would rather be with a man that wasn't cold hearted.
Sorry,
-Alfreine
Gustaf folded the paper and handed it back to Audiena. Audiena knew that if he was this calm, something was wrong. "Your Highness what's wrong?" Gustaf sighed. "It's true." "Huh?" "Everyone hates me..." "No, I don't hate you...!" Gustaf looked at his secretary. "How many resources do we have?" "A military budget 24 million, Your Highness." he glanced at his chief executive. "I have a task for you." "What may that be?" "Go to the Kingdom of Germaine, and slaughter the whole royal family." Audiena felt her heart sink.
"So, Alfreine what for dinner?" A smiling Leo asked. Like he usually did when asked, Alfreine shrugged. "I'm not sure Leo-" "PRINCE LEO!" The looked towards a frantic servant who acted as if he were having a panic attack. "Alex, what's wrong?" "THERE IS A MOB GETTING INSIDE THE PALACE!" "What?!" the servant pointed at the window and moved the curtain. Leo's eyes widened. There was not only a mob storming the palace, there was fire surrounding it. "W-what do w-we d-do?" He stuttered anxiously. "I don't know, I'll go try to do something!" The servant exclaimed as he ran off. Alfreine took Leo's hand, "You should get somewhere safe, perhaps, out of here!" "Yeah!" The two ran down a flight of stairs to a door in the back of the palace. To their surprise, a woman had appeared before them. "A-Audiena?!" "Yeah, I'm here for you Leo!" She tried to take his hand but was stopped by Alfreine. "What do you think your doing?! I'll make you go crazy!" Audiena pulled out her sword and slashed his harm. Causing him to hiss and losen his grip. Then she took Leo's hand and ran off. Alfreine was quickly in tears and chased after them. "Leo!" Despite his efforts, he lost sight of the two quickly. And then heard the loud footsteps of the mob. He looked around the room desperately for and escape, and instead found a hiding spot. A small cuburt. Luckliy, he was skinny enough to fit, and climbed inside before shutting the door. While in there, he heard rustling, screaming, slashing, stumbling, and other frightening loud noises.
"What do you mean you couldn't find him?!" Gustaf shouted at his Chief Executive furiously. "I'm sorry, Your Highness, but he was nowhere in the palace-" he was immediately interupted by Gustaf picking a tea cup and throwing it across the room. "Find him, or else I'll have your head." "Yes Your Highness." His chief executive bowed before exiting the room. In the doorway he left through, Asahikawa appeared. "Gustaf, I heard you couldn't get Leo." "Yeah, I'm pissed." he pouted. Fighting the urge to throw and break his glass kettle. But then, Gustaf no longer looked angry. After letting go of the kettle, he curled up into a ball, and began to sob. "Why...? Why does everyone hate me...? Why...? Please...Someone save me from this nightmare..." Asahikawa was stunned by this.  He usually threw a tantrum, or did something crazy, but this time, he was crying. Not out of frustration, but genuine grief. She slowly approached the emotionally sensetive boy. "Gustaf," She kneeled and leaned on the arm of his throne. "don't say that, there are people that love you." Gustaf looked at her with watery eyes. "Really?" "Mhm. I love you. Kyoto does, Kitakyushu does, Audiena does as well." Gustaf's expression remains the same, and he just looks at her. Covered in sadness. Asahikawa moved closer and wrapped her arms around him. While Gustaf continued to sob. "Shh...shh...it's okay. Your okay, I promise." Asahikawa opened her eyes, "I won't ever forgive them for doing this to you."
"Oh, so that's the building?" Franz asked, glancing up at the house. The grining Kitakyushu responded, "Yep. The one who killed Genevieve. The one who cursed poor Gustaf." Franz raised an eyebrow. "Cursed?" "A buddhist priest believe everyone's disliking for King Haakon is the result of a curse placed on him by Leo." Franz sighed at her words. "So, he cursed the poor boy, and killed my daughter? How vile can someone be?" Kitakyushu nodded. "Yep- oh! Were here!" She tugged, and her horse stopped at it's tracks. Franz did the same. The group approached the house. Franz lit a torch, gave a signal to his soldiers, and began one of specialties. Burning buildings. Kitakyushu stood there with a smirk, as she watched the building quickly turn to flames. Franz and his soldiers backed up once the fire got really bad. "That's quite a bit of heat." "Yeah." Franz glanced to his right, and it looked like Kitakyushu disappeared.
"It's okay, we just need to hurry, hurry to the house!" Audiena exclaimed to Suiko. Who was next to her, wielding a sword. Apparently she had experience in fighting, but never elaborated on how or why. Once the two spotted a house on top of a hill in the large forest, they felt relieved. "Audiena?!" She turned around, and saw Alfreine. "Alfreine?!" she was surprised by his expression. His hair was ruffled, he had dirt on his outfit, and blood on his shoes. However, he wore and angry expression. "What are you doing here?!" "I'm here to save Leo!" "Save him?" "Yeah, my hiding spot for him was revealed!" Audiena glanced ahead of her and spotted a carriage she recognized. Guescline and Kitkyushu?! She hid behind a tree and watched. Then gasped in horror as the house began to catch fire.
While watching the flames, out of nowhere, up on the balcony, Leo appeared. Though he wasn't sure what it was, Franz felt something was off about the situation. Leo coughed, and rubbed his burning arms. "Ugh! Eh! Is this it?! How did I end up here? How was I put in a situation where I'd die?" He said, as he looked behind him. Then what happened nearly gave everyone there a heart attack. Leo felt as if someone from behind were watching him, and he was almost relieved to see Kitakyushu. "Your the maid from the nearby kingdom? AHAEH!" He coughed out the last part. Kitakyushu's emotionless expression quickly changed to a mischiveous one. "Yeah." "Your here to save me?" Kitakyushu closed her eyes. "Sorry..." "For what?" She opened her eyes back up. "I serve the King!" Before Leo could defend himself, Kitakyushu grabbed him by the waist and arms, then slowly backed into the flames. Slowly in order to terrify her prey. Leo began to panic but couldn't escape her grasp. "LET ME GO LET ME GO!" The begging of the man in her grasp didn't convince her to even hesitate. Not even the terrifying heat of the flames would stop her. She'd happily burn to save her King. Once Leo felt flames all over him and Kitakyushu, he began to succomb to the despair.
"UUUHHHAHHHHHAAAHHHHAAAAAAAAA!"
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA!"
The cackling of Kitakyushu, and the loss of control in Leo's scream was all that was heard from two as they dissapeared in the flames. Franz began to feel sick. He put a hand on one of his soldiers, "Ah, I don't feel so good-BLU!" Then he began to vomit. The three watching in the distance began to scream as well.
"LEO!!!"
"UUHAAAAAAA!"
"NOO! MY DEAR! I LOVED YOU!"
Once Franz had stopped vomiting, he closed his eyes and directed his gaze away from the house. "I can't watch this anymore...take me back." He muttered with a hint of guilt. His soldiers nodded and helped him into the carriage.
RING RING RING
"Oh! It's tea time!" "Yes, it's...ready, Gustaf..." Audiena mumbled. As she set down the tray, Gustaf noticed her appearance and tone was filled with sorrow. "Audiena? What's wrong? Did someone hurt you?! I will behead them at once!" "No! I'm alright...someone just...died..." she said hesitantly. "Who?" "Um...just somebody I was friend's with. Don't worry, I'll get over it." Gustaf stood up and put crossed his arms. "You know what Audiena?" Audiena became fearful she did something wrong. "H-huh? What is it?" "I think you should take a break. Perhaps until your feeling more like yourself." Audiena was caught off guard by this. "Oh, uh, alright." "Good!" Gustaf sat back down and sipped his tea. "Your dismissed, unless you want to stay with me?" Audiena headed towards the door. "No, it's alright. Goodbye."

aight aight lets do this
zombie au
i wanted??? to develop the side characters more because i love them and they make me super happy when they get on screen and i went to sleep and woke up in the dead of night like. Ah. I Know.
the gist was dekapan creates a virus that mimics those weird wasp things that inject venom in caterpillars and wasps and leave them zombie-fied until they end up sacrificing themselves for the wasps babies. it works like my theory for gakkou gurashi and idk the zombies should follow their everyday routine expect that they also kill people. i’ve scrapped that idea and like, recreated how the zombies work but shhhh this part is a Super Secret.
he’s having trouble with money and! he loves science! he loves messing up and starting over and finding that one xyz fit that makes everything click how he wants to! but that costs money, and it’s money he doesnt have, so? he calls a kid he used to babysit and get along with for some help. hatabou gets him a job with a sketchy government probably trying to cure the common cold or make it impossible to burn your skin in the sun or something so of course he does the work given to him, because money is money, but the moment it gets on tv and is announced to the world dekapan calls everyone like 'hey guys dont take the vaccine something fuckys going on' and then the zombie outbreak starts and everyone gets split up and they find each other eventually after Bad Things and everyone gets fucked up about it.
people who we dont get to see pair up find each other and begrudgingly work together.
jyushimatsu and todomatsu are w matsuyo!! she has them go on a trip to the mall with her, and it’s very densely packed and a trains ride from home  (jyushimatsus here to carry bags and todomatsus here bc oohhh a mall far away). the outbreak happens while theyre in the mall, and momma and todomatsu get separated from jyushimatsu for a little while -- they do find him again, and momma decks a zombie in the face. todomatsu cries. if i were to write this, i’d focus like??? 2 - 3 chapters focusing on them being in the mall, finding a group of other survivors, and then leaving the group. depending on length and my Stamina which is. not good.
next group is totoko and karamatsu!!! and. its not because of.... anything. but totoko!! if anything is really strong and i can see her carrying an iron will and inspiring other people to follow he lead and! i like the dynamic they had with that like One Interaction. idk the beginning all too well?? like how they meet up and stick together, but i have everything after that pretty clear in my head. this would be??? the second arc of the story maybe? it take a while for them to actually get along and things go Bad in the start because ahaha karamatsu is a Fuck Up, and after that karamatsu just stops trying to talk to her and just trails behind while totoko vehemently refuses to let him help her with anything. and i actually?? dont wanna say too much about this because. ITS SURPRISE. but after they start getting along karamatsu gives her a fishbone braid, and she talks about missing her brother and they do some Feelings Talk.
idk what the fuck to do with osomatsu, ichimatsu, and choromatsu??? someones learning medicine and surgery from dekapan, someones getting yelled at by chibita while hatabou mediates, and someone starts stealing things with iyami and then starts crying in the back of his van after a close call, but idk who because they all keep flip flopping positions in my head. like, at first ichimatsu was getting yelled at, but then i put him with iyami, but then im like ‘ohhh doctor ichimatsu’. then osomatsu was with chibita n hatabou, then i was like ‘but oh he and iyami have a great dyamic’. and choromatsu was with dekapan at first bt then i was :/ with that and put him with chibita. those three are hecking me up idk what to do.
paranormal investigators
We Are All Dependant On Our Brothers
the matsuno bros start up a ghost bustin company thats set up in a run down project and they’re all crowed up in a shitty apartment funded by hatabou and todomatsus part time job with equipment provided by dekapan because after high school it was decided that ‘shit lets hunt some ghost’ and everyone was like ‘yea sure.’
it was spawned by a dream i had where choromatsu and karamatsu are on a case and choros like 'k we gotta distract the ghost' and karas like 'got it' and while choros doing. whatever. karamatsu comes out in a bathrobe and sashays like 'ooh noo ;)) i sure hope no ghosts are going to get me while im naked and vulnerable ;)))' and choros like. 'who gave you permission to be such garbage.' and. oh. he did.
and then later in the day a stray thought where osomatsu and karamatsu got confronted by a ghost thats like ‘ICHIMATSU MATSUNO!!! YOU, MY ENEMY WHOVE IVE TRACED DOWN FROM BARBADOS TO THE ARAN ISLANDS TO-’ then osomatsu cuts him off like ‘bro we arent ichimatsu’ and the three of them stare at each other for ten minutes before karamatsu offers to call him for the ghost and the ghost is like ‘!!!! could you?? i mean, im still damning you both to hell but’ and then ichimatsu picks up the phone, and as soon as the ghost starts talking he expels it in 0.0000000000000000000000001 seconds.
superheros
the brothers are b-rate superheros who end up in the newspapers sometimes. iyami and chibitas That Dude who ends up in hostage situations all the time and begrudgingly drive them home and make sure they eat even though they claims to hate them. its actually.... based of the storyline for my ocs so i wont actually talk about that again. nnu9mubvufe8n.
again, they live in a shit ass project but they live right next door to each other instead of crowding in One Apartment, its two with three each. they are all actively looking for day jobs because while the government pays well they struggle being adults. but this time adults with superpowers.
rpg/video game
like. back in the naru.to fandom there was a point where video game aus were really popular, like the whole grinding/gaining stats/unlocking new areas thing n all that and it surprisingly worked really well when written right?. so i was thinking about that and spacing out and i was like Oh Fuck. so this au got birthed. osomatsus the king, karas the knight, jyushi is a prince who gets kidnapped, ichis prince #2, choromatsus a wandering mage, n todos the royal advisor.
jyushimatsu gets kidnapped in the dead of night, and osomatsus like ‘what the flying fuck karamatsu get over here lets go get him back.’ so they leave, and have ichimatsu look after the kingdom for him. hes like 'wait what please im' and is thrust into power anyways. he and todomatsu are surprisingly competent leaders and the kingdom does really good under him, even better than with osomatsu?? though he locked himself in his room for the first week and todomatsu just kept banging on the door OPEN UP YOU FUCK YOU HAVE PAPERWORK. and its an insanely huge amount because osomatsu keeps putting it off unless someone watches him and he does all the stuff like funding the armies and expanding territories before stuff like regulating taxes and funding schools and hospitals.
jyushimatsu escapes on his own after a day n is like HMMMM HOW TO GET HOME..... but then he enters a little run down village and meets homura and falls In Love and they spend time together and he eventually just forgets to come home because hes so happy with her
meanwhile with the idiot eldest duo. karamatsu doesnt know how to fucking.... spend money so when they meet choromatsu whos like the stop n shop npc he gives him all the money he has for an enchanted pair of ankle warmers that he could put his face on and that can react to his emotions. osomatsus like ‘what the entire fuck bro’ and goes to get their money back, but then ends up spending all his money on a charm thatll increase his gambling luck.
‘we’ve been bamboozled, my dearest king. our money taken right before our eyes as a miser deceived us and robbed us of everything we’re worth,’ ‘wanna beat him up, karamatsu?’ ‘of course i do.’
choromatsus like ????? wtf its not my fault you two dont know how to spend money. but they fight, and osomatsus like ‘join our party!!’ and they take a few days to convince him but he does join and he and osomatsu hit it off really well, and osomatsu decided after everything, hes going to adopt choromatsu.
(’but we’re the same age, my king’ karamatsu says in response to his proposal.
‘FINE, then ill get mom to adopt him, geez.’
then they meet chibita and n chibita and karamatsus like ‘if youre taking choromatsu, im taking chibita in if he says yes’ and osomatsus like ‘ask mom first’)
the three of them go to the place jyushimatsu was taken to, beat everyone up, and then realize he isnt there. so they just. dejectedly walk into a nearby village for rest and chibita gives them free beer.
they meet jyshimatsu an hour later on a date with homura and yes. they decide to adopt her as a sister too. (is someone marrying into your family considered adoption?? idk but everyones family now, no excuses.)
royalty/split at birth
i hate angst i just wish everyone could be happy, i say as i look through my notebook with angsty plot points as i reference my life.
the gist is: the cold color trio living in slums rather than a palace but then oso finds out OH SHIT WE HAVE MORE BROTHERS WE GO GET THEM and everyones stressed the fuck out
as soon as osomatsu finds out he has troops scour the kingdom for the them, with the directions ‘there are three more people with my face, go get em’ and he sends troops out. to everyone outside the castle this is a very ?????!!!!!!!!!! thing???because the royal family has solidified themselves as Bad Selfish people who tax unfairly and dont care about the poor. like, the rich people are all like oh! i wonder what the royal family is planning theyre so good to our kingdom ha ha! while the poor people are freaking the fuck out.
the cold colors only get a brief warning about the troops coming and the first thing ichimatsu does when he hears this is go and break all the fancy plates and choromatsus like ‘wtf are you doing!!!’ and ichimatsu just looks at him like ‘i love and respect my family so im doing what i need to’ and karamatsu takes that as his cue to take his mothers valuables and hide them under the floorboards and in the walls where the stucco breaks away and choromatsu writes a note to their mom Just In Case.
they actually do get taken and theyre fucking shocked. like, instead of the royals taking everyones valuables like they expected, theyre taking them??? and the troops are no help theyre just like ‘kay go take two sets of coats and three sets of day wear’ and they have them leave straight away.
an abrupt abduction is gonna stir up shit in the village especially if they only take the boys and leave their parents and friends. imagine how paranoid they'll be. ‘oh no what if im going next' 'i hear that theyre taking our boys now and selling them off to foreign labor' 'theyre taking our children as punishment for not being able to afford tax' ‘i heard things breaking in their home what if they got taken away for resisting’
imagine all the drama and discomfort theyll feel when they see the other bros living in the lap of luxury why their friends and family suffer like :)))
its frustrating and tense for everyone because osomatsu expected them to integrate without issue. jyushimatsu doesnt understand why they get so mad at him and refuse to be his friend. todomatsu doesnt understand why all these poor people are a problem. as long as youre happy and healthy it's fine! theres no need to concern yourself with what doesnt directly affect you. if you dont see it its not happening so its best to ignore it.
ballet
osomatsu does ballet again and is happy and has found something he loves and enjoys and everyone supports him. basically, he starts feeling nostalgic and then starts watching youtube videos and goes ‘haha pah! i can do that’ and then he realizes ‘holy shit this is something i wanna spend the rest of my life doing’
sophie even wrote a fic about it and its great and every time i read it my heart pounds ten thousand times a second and i start smiling so hard my cheeks hurt.
detectives
jyushimatsu’s an overworked forensic scientist, choromatsu’s an exasperated detective, osomatsus is watson, todomatsu’s head of the branch, and ???? ichimatsu where are you??
karamatsu’s fucking dead but he aint important.
they solve mysteries n do detective stuff.
theres also another au thats like platonic soulmate thing but eh
