**Junpei’s pov of a Yuuji that has gone back in time to change everything. Yuuji never mentions it though, so i leave all that stuff to your imagination.

That day's gym class had Junpei feeling just a little better.

Usually it was a hell that he tried to skip, but he told himself he'd go just this once, for Yuuji's first day.

By then Yuuji had taken Junpei by the shoulders and was leading them out of the classroom.

They split at the main entrance, and Junpei decided to hide behind some trees by the front gates. He tried not to be too visible to people coming from the school, but he’d still be able to see whoever left the fight.

He took out his phone to distract himself, which didn't work. He tried to convince himself that everything would be okay, which also didn't work.

At 5 minutes he could hear a commotion coming from the other side of the building.

At 8 minutes, it had gotten too quiet for Junpei to make anything out. By then, Junpei was trying to psych himself up to go hide in a classroom until he saw the fight was over, and then he’d go down to help Yuuji pick himself up.

At 11 minutes, someone interrupted his anxiety attack. “Hey, Junpei, are you alright?”

Startled, Junpei turned to see Yuuji walking towards him. He looked...completely fine, and kind of like he was trying to look casual.

“What happened? You’re okay? Did you fight?”

Yuuji gently pulled Junpei by the shoulder away from the school.

“Yeah...they’re not gonna be acting up for a while.”

Junpei stared at him.

Yuuji chuckled tensely. “I have a lot of fighting experience. Mixed martial arts."

"They won't talk," said Yuuji firmly.
