I don't know if I can bring myself to spend 200£ on shoes it's not in my soul. I'll forever be a person who gets ten pound knock off vans from primark and insists they're fine even though the soles are so thin it feels like you're straight up walking barefoot

#like I've materially transcended that (bought vans and docs a few yrs ago) but. spiritually #like unless it's something I'm wearing daily (i.e. docs/vans) I can't condone this.... that's SO much money #also I'll forever be my child self who spent their money exclusively on books. so i do consider every expense by how many books #i could buy with the same amount of money #i was always like a 30£ shirt... i got THREE books with that... for ONE shirt.... three is literally bigger than one 🙄#so now it's like. i know things Cost Money and it's nice to have nice shoes. but do you know how many books this is worth. DO YOU KNOW #child me is in shambles rn #.txt
