So many agents come thru tha shoppe n they’re like “listen I need this thing that’s kind of like a nail but it’s not” and I’ll be like “a screw?” And they’ll be all “maybe I’m really not even sure” so naturally I take them to the screws. They’ll be all “yeah these are similar but I was talking about the smooth ones……” nails. U need nails.
#I swear to god this has happened 3-4 times#like they’ll say exactly what they need but say it’s like that thing#then when I find similar things they’re like no like where’s the thing I used as the example of what I need is similar to#and I can't think of whatever they actually asked for but they try to make it so complex and confusing only to be like “yeah jus nails”#like explaining things that have nothing to do with what they need#“listen I need something to hold tha wheels on my fathers 1992 firebird”#“he would rather not use lug nuts bcos he chews bubblegum when it's cold outside n we want to try using tape instead”#I'll takem to tha tape and buddy goes “yeah I just think tha lug nuts would do a better job than tape will......”#oh do u think so agent smith#like trying to show me with their hands and object and making 0 sense to eventually be like “yeah like basically just a lug nut"#“uh yeah basically can u just give me a 3 inch piece of tape bro”#it's actually so much funnier than the firebird example bcos it's like “listen pops has a 92 firebird...”#“we're trying to take off the doors and use tinfoil instead so I need some really strong tinfoil”#I'll be like “uh okay let me just see if we have tinfoil”#and he'll be like “mmmmm this is good tinfoil and all but I really just need a pack of chromies is what I mean”#like no bullshit this is how it goes only 10x more retarded and harder to get to the chromies#I have to go to battle in order for them to give me an item they don't want#once I prove I can find the decoy item they tell me what they actually wanted#but in a way like “u should have known what I meant even tho I'm v dumb”

Imagine a little octo boy sticking himself to Sebastian and gets curious insisting to share with Sebastian
A sticky situation [GN reader]
words: 1k
status: none
authors note: It's gender neutral this time since I wrote it during a voice call with friends and paid 0 attention. It's a bunch of headcanons written lazily as a short story, hope it's readable haha
The last thing Sebastian expected when releasing the experiments from confinement was for you to latch onto his tail. Your little octopus arms clung to him persistently, which irritated him greatly. His first instinct was to pull you off aggressively, telling you to be independent now that you were free. Yet you shook your head cutely, refusing to be alone in the dark facility when you could stick to his cold body like bubblegum. Since then, you've lived in his shop rent-free. He lets you sort files while he works, and every time he leaves, he tells you not to touch anything. Yet when he returns, he always finds silly little circles everywhere, evidence that your curiosity got the better of you. You miss him easily when he's out since he refuses to take you with him, so you cling to whatever he left behind until he returns.
One day, Sebastian returned to find you tinkering with random objects he had found. "I got you something," he said. Your head peeked up, glancing at him silently as your arms curled around him. He held up a gummylight, shaking it to show you how it worked, then gently flashed it without blinding you. One of your many arms pulled it from his grasp, shaking it in silent excitement without turning it on. It was all about the silly sound it made. You held it up to his face, showing it to him. His expression softened slightly as he rubbed your head with faint affection.
On other days, Sebastian often found himself perplexed by your attachment, but over time, he grew accustomed to the constant presence of your small, sticky arms. You followed him around the shop like a shadow, your round eyes always wide with curiosity. Though he rarely spoke more than necessary, you seemed to understand him perfectly.
One morning, as Sebastian was fixing a particularly stubborn gadget, he felt a familiar tug at his coat. Without looking up, he muttered, "I'm busy. What is it?"
You, undeterred, held up a tiny, shiny bolt you'd found on the floor. Sebastian glanced at it and then at you. With a soft sigh, he reached out, gently taking the bolt from your grasp. "This goes in the drawer, not in your collection." He pointed to a small compartment, but instead of obeying, you turned the bolt over in your hands, fascinated by how it caught the light.
"Fine, keep it," Sebastian said, shaking his head, though a tiny smile played at the corners of his mouth. He'd long since stopped trying to understand your hoarding habits—your stash of random, shiny objects hidden throughout the shop had become a part of the daily routine.
Later that day, Sebastian stood at his desk, organizing some files. He heard a soft thud and looked up to see you struggling to lift a book that was nearly as large as you. Your determination was evident as you used all of your arms to lift the book onto the desk, where you promptly pushed it toward him.
Sebastian raised an eyebrow. "You want me to read to you?"
You nodded enthusiastically, your arms tapping the book's cover in a rhythmic pattern. Despite himself, Sebastian couldn't refuse. He opened the book, and you settled down beside him, your eyes wide and focused as he began to read. His deep voice filled the shop, and although his tone was always even and calm, you could sense the subtle warmth in his words.
As he read, you slowly inched closer until one of your arms gently wrapped around his wrist. Sebastian paused for a moment, glancing at the tiny limb clinging to him, then continued reading, unfazed. You, content with your prize, closed your eyes and listened, occasionally making soft, pleased sounds.
The days passed in a similar manner. Sebastian would go about his work, always with you nearby, your silent presence a constant. Sometimes you would help by sorting tools or arranging items—though "help" was a generous term, given your tendency to make more of a mess than you cleaned. Other times, you would simply watch him, your large eyes following his every movement.
One afternoon, Sebastian noticed you were particularly fidgety, your arms twitching restlessly. He knew the signs well by now—you were bored. He sighed, setting down the delicate instrument he was working on. "Come here."
You perked up immediately, shuffling over to him. Sebastian reached into a drawer and pulled out a small, wind-up toy. It was an old trinket he'd been meaning to fix, but it still worked well enough. He wound it up and placed it on the floor. The little toy soldier began marching in circles, its tin legs clinking with each step.
Your eyes lit up, and you clapped your arms together in silent delight. As the toy marched around, you followed it closely, occasionally nudging it with one of your limbs. Sebastian watched you with a hint of amusement, though he kept his expression as neutral as ever.
Eventually, the toy soldier came to a halt, its winding mechanism spent. You looked up at Sebastian expectantly, holding the toy out to him. He took it and wound it up again without a word. This became a small routine for the two of you, and although Sebastian pretended to be slightly annoyed each time you interrupted his work, he never hesitated to rewind the toy for you.
One another evening, as Sebastian prepared to close the shop, he found you curled up in a corner, fast asleep. You had a soft, contented look on your face, clutching the gummylight he had given you days before. He watched you for a moment, his usual stoic expression softening.
"You're a strange one," he muttered quietly, though there was no malice in his words. He gently draped a small blanket over you, careful not to wake you, before turning off the lights. As he headed back to his signature spot, he glanced back at you once more, shaking his head with a faint smile.
No matter how much you puzzled him, he had to admit—life in the shop was a lot less lonely with you around.

Finally finished my weird hanging painting thing (originally a secondhand partially-done 'paint by numbers' kit that I found at a thrift store and kept to repurpose lol)! Imagery somewhat based in my own worldbuilding projects, and text written in my constructed language for one of my fantasy species, but also vaguely inspired by old tapestries and illuminated manuscripts and etc. I've never been great at neat clean patterning or text, but it looks cool from afar, and I always enjoy making "props" or things that are somewhat like real objects that might could exist in my world. :0
(additional pictures/info under the readmore)
-
Here's what it was originally! I probably didn't have to actually have a river running down the middle because it further makes the composition of the whole thing weird (various connected yet separate locations and things happening, instead of one unified event being portrayed), but I wasn't sure if I'd be able to fully cover up the already existing paint that was there.. and I can also kind of justify it by going with a more "all the imagery is just symbolic so it doesn't have to make exact sense" approach lol.. How is one half of the grass green and the other is suddenly snowy? shhhh.. it's not literal.. shhh...
Made a vague sketch, then painted over it, and then added more distinct lines in black pen. Center image first and border second.
The very last thing was the text, which actually took forever to translate because my conlang is still only like.. partially done, and some of the grammar is not worked out exactly how I would like it to be, so a few sentences I had to think about for a long time before just going "eh, this is probably not how I would do it if I considered it more, but I'll go with it for now" lol . I also am not entirely satisfied with all of the characters for the writing system, but again, it's good enough for a quick project, it doesn't have to be 100% accurate and perfect because it's a fake language that nobody knows anyway lol.
I thought about breaking down the text and translation here like I have for some of the tidbits of Avirrekava (the language) in things I've posted in the past, but I think it would take too long and is not interesting to anyone but me ghghj, so for the sake of getting the post out quickly, I shall not spend an hour typing All That lol.
The general jist of the writing though is that it's just about the Avirre'thel being cast out from the other elves, after abandoning their magic for immortality as a means to truly attain perfection (an important concept in elven culture), the usual, blah blah blah, but how it's Actually A Good Thing, because the gods are wrong and immortality is Cool actually and they like the shitty frozen lands they were sent to, so it's fine that everyone else is being a Hater about it lol
Lastly, here's a few photos outside in the sun to TRY and show the gold detailing actually shimmering or showing up! It really doesn't come through in photos, but there's plenty of little golden spots to highlight light or Importance.
Mostly the fire, the pink sparkle that represents magic, the red drop that represents blood, the light behind Inaashi's hands and head (common symbol for the elven religion/one of their main gods, shout out to anyone who read the ancient elven religion post and recognized that lol), the sun, and the symbol for the Avirre'thel/country of Navyete at the very top. I did a few other gold bits, but they're not highlighted because they're Significant, more just that it looked more symmetrical to have some gold on the border too lol.
Other things of note: The animals are not actually significant to Avirre'thel culture really, I just wanted to put a cat and a bird because I like them lol. (I also wanted to have a few funny looking creatures, as I was slightly trying to go with the 'in some old medieval painting the anatomy and perspective is very weird' vibe, though I think some of the other parts of it look too Normal to pull it off entirely). Same with the four leaf clover, which means nothing in their culture - but these are the only areas where stuff was just added self-indulgently .
Bligabata (giant cabbage that grows along rivers in Navyete) making an appearance! The architecture of the building IS based on actual concepts for ancient elven/older Avirre'thel architecture and metalwork. The Avirre'thel who's turning away from Inaashi/elves/magic and collecting blood, is doing so in a Special Bowl, as is part of their culture (collecting it in the hands, or just in a normal vessel would be disrespectful, they have Specific Bowls which is the only thing blood can be kept in, etc.).
The figure that represents Jhevona (and thus, a closer connection to magic, celestial imagery, etc.) is in weird ugly teal, which is not necessarily a color or design associated with them, as I don't have much common culture (like clothing) worked out for Northern Jhevona (who the avirre'thel would have come into contact with) yet, BUT everyone else is in more Typical colors (a northern elf in green, Inaashi in lavender + white + blue, an Avirre'thel in darker purples and reds).
Some things, like the four figures in the corners, and the two people + fish in the stream, do not currently have a meaning, but in-world they would.. Like, I could make up lore for how they're culturally significant and it would be true because I am god of the world, but I don't have anything currently. But just know.. they DO mean something, I just haven't decided it yet, maybe kind of fill in as I go, come up with a meaning later lol. Probably along the lines of an old myth from the ancient elven religion, a story, etc.
-
I don't know, probably other stuff, but that's my Trying To Keep It Short rambling for now lol. I'm just glad I finally finished this! For how vaguely sloppy it is up close (everything being completely freehanded, only used rulers once when doing the initial sketch and lining where the border should be + my hands are shaky + the canvas is bumpy + my handwriting is scratchy and terrible + etc. etc.) it still took a REALLY long time, even when not trying to make it all perfect. Especially if including the text translation + writing, which took like 3+ hours itself.
Maybe all the asymmetry/lack of things being centered is NOT because I was too lazy to measure anything, but is actually because in-universe, it's a practice illustration made by some young apprentice who has to work on little canvases for years before he can be trusted will a full sized mural or tapestry. It's his first week on the job! of course he's uncoordinated! don't laugh at him!!! lol
#worldbuilding#elves#I AM WORKING ON A NEW PAVENTURE POST also !!!! I know I keep being like 'oh I'm going to get back to that! I'll stick to it this time!!'#and then another whole month goes by without me posting a new poll adventure - however - this time I DID fully intend to so#*do another one soon but my beloved beautiful perfect cat unfortunately passed away AND there was a heat#wave ANd I felt sick for a while for unrelated reasons so I just genuinely was not focused on posting online at all#I am trying to get back to it though along with other things hopefully so.#ANYWAY#avirre'thel#irithoas#maybe???? not super relevant to elves but I'll keep it intheir tag anyway also. Just since their lore is so closely tied with avirre'thel s#stuff and they're mentioned in the post. Or the gods are. Inaashi is.#OIGUGUGUGUHH I should have done a tapestry with the FCJhjkING triplets!!!!! Sehalanora Semoniyare and the other one whatever the hell#his name is. ... sehalanora my beloved .. (I'm referencing the ancient elven gods - for those who dont know)#It's funny that I rarely watch tv shows and when I do I rarely if EVER care about characters at all in any capacity#with maybe like a handful of even then extremely minor exceptions so I cannot relate to the concept of like 'having a blorbo' or whatever#but then for my extremely niche worldbuilding content#.. it's like OMG MY FAVORITE character!!! my favorite obscure god from a religion#that I entirely made up myself for a cultural group that I also made up that literally only I and maybe like two other#people who are able to sit through my novel long dry and wordy worldbuilding posts care about!! you all know them DUH!!#even WITHIN modern elven culture in the world at the moment in current day most people do not give a shit about them hghj#BUT .. I should have made a painting of the siblings actually!!! I stand by that!!#I mean I like Inaashi and Nisateyu and everything too. Actually all of them are fine except for Ea'ivuyera I guess. whoever the#like War and Order bootlicker god is basically. and the Evil dumbass one. but all the others are fine. I'm suprised I'm even able to rememb#that many ancient elven goofily long names ghgh.. But I could have maybe made it about the elven gods#The thing is just that.. i Don't have ancient elvish worked out as a language and I knew I wanted to put text on it#so it kind of HAD to be something written/drawn by the Avirre'thel#Knwoledge of the ancient elven gods is still a thing in their culture. But usually more as a joke or just a common fairytale knowledge#sort of thing. not really something to make a painting of. Inaashi is here less because of Inaashi The God being genuinely significant and#and more just she's there to Symbolize the elven religion as a whole. just like all the other figures are mere symbols of things. etc.

Dragon Ball Super 070
Time for a baseball episode (derogatory).
Sigh... All right, let’s just get through this. So Champa contacts Beerus and proposes a friendly game of baseball to build “good relations between Universe 6 and 7.” I’m pretty sure the assemlbed teams represent the only people in either universe that are aware of the other universe.
Some issues with this premise:
1) Champa is only doing this as a pretense to go to Earth and enjoy its delicious cuisine. This seems pointless, as Universe 6′s own Earth was restored in Episode 41. Beerus specifically wished for this so that Champa could enjoy Earth food whenever he liked. Did he forget about this, or does U6′s Earth food just suck? Or maybe the U6 Earthlings destroyed themselves all over again? I mean, the Super Dragon Balls could bring them back to life, but that doesn’t resolve whatever they were fighting over when they died.
2) Champa can’t even field a whole team, so Vegeta and Goten switch sides to make it fair. Maybe they should have organized a Pickleball tournament instead.
3) Only three characters in this cartoon know how to play baseball, and two of them are the umpires. Everyone keeps fucking around and/or trying to hurt one another, because it’s a Dragon Ball cartoon and that’s how they all roll.
Let me just focus on Yamcha here, because he’s the only character who manages to look cool in all of this. Goku manages to strike out Champa, then Yamcha takes over pitching and strikes out two more batters. Then he’s the first at bat, and Vegeta beans him because he thinks the object is to incapacitate the opposing team. So Yamcha gets a free trip to first base.
Then he steals second and third because Champa doesn’t understand the rules well enough to stop him. At one point he throws the ball at Yamcha to cut him off, and apparently that’s illegal. I thought you could do that, but now that I think about it, it doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Then Beerus and Champa start fighting above the field, and Whis and Vados have to stop them before it destroys the entire universe. Destroyer Gods fighting is supposed to be a serious taboo, just like time travel. Funny how Beerus destroyed Bulma’s lab, but he gets to keep his hands.
Anyway, Whis and Vados call off the rest of the game due to the Destroyers’ poor sportsmanship, so we didn’t even get a full inning into this nonsense. Champa is horrified to learn that the game is a tie, but it’s not. Universe 7 wins, because...
... While Beerus and Whis were fighting, and all the other players were cowering in terror, Yamcha managed to steal home plate. So U7 wins, 1-0.
This whole episode is played up like a backhanded compliment to Yamcha. He perserveres through the whole episode to win the game, and everyone congratulates him for it, but there’s also a lot of dunking on Yamcha too. Like “Way to go, Yamcha, I guess you’re not completely useless after all!” That sort of thing.
Also, this whole “Yamcha loves this because he used to be a major leaguer” thing kind of contradicts the very episode of DBZ that this is referring to. Yeah, Yamcha was the star player for the Taitans in Age 761, but he also found the game boring as hell, and he only did it for the money.
Sure, he’s had 18 years to change his mind about the game, and I suspect he’s mostly into this because it’s a chance to look cool in front of the others, but this episode is still kind of a let-down for me. There was a baseball issue of the Tenchi Muyo! comic, there was a baseball episode of Deep Space Nine, there was a baseball episode of Transformers, etc. etc. This is the literal definition of a trope shows use to blow off an episode.

Taglist: @hooks-martin @sheinthatfandom @wwenhlimagines @hookerforhook
I think with Darius this would be his first one in a while or like it would be something that is foreign to him
Like his friends have experienced it before, but he hasn’t experienced one first hand
I need everyone to understand that different things can cause panic attacks; it truly depends on the person and their situation (mentality, physically, emotionally, environment, etc.)
And sometimes if you don’t experience something in a while, your body and mind might try to go in autopilot but it doesn’t land correctly (if that makes sense)
I don’t think he’ll know how to react
At first, Darius will think he’ll need air and he’ll step into his room or just away from you (so you don’t see him worry)
But then it goes from 0 to 100 real fucking quick
He’ll start pacing around, fighting back tears, and starts hyperventilating
Eventually, Darius will catch your attention with something hitting the floor
“Darius?” You called out to him from down the hall. You two were watching wrestling before he got up and left to go get something. After no response, you pause the show and started to walk towards his room. “Dude, you good?” You opened his door to find him curled up in a ball, shaking, and with tears down his face. There was a shattered vase next to him. You immediately left to get him some water.
Putting the water down, you guided him over to his bed (carefully avoiding the shattered vase), helping him sit on the edge. He just kept constantly shaking his hands while you whispered words to calm him. Darius opened his mouth to speak, but couldn’t say a full sentence with crying and stuttering. “You’re okay, you’re safe.” You repeated, giving him water. He started to take slow sips from the plastic cup. “Do you need me to call someone?” Darius shook his head no as you rubbed his back.
You two just sat in silence with you whispering to Darius how he’s safe and that everything is okay. After he drank enough water and stopped shaking, you instructed him through some breathing exercises; forcing him to take deep breathes. During the silence, you decided to ask, “What happened?”
He sighed and took a deep breath before responding, “While we were watching wrestling, my mind just thought back to my injuries and how I wasn’t able to perform. I felt like a failure. And then my mind went down a rabbit hole of an injury happening again and how I’ll let people down again. I just felt like I was losing control of my life and mind. It felt like something was genuinely happening to my body just then.” He wiped his tears away.
Darius was just cleared to come back to the ring after being out for months regarding another injury. It’s scary trying to make a comeback from an injury, especially when he already had an injury the year prior. So it broke your heart to hear that he’s feeling this way. “Darius, you could never be a failure, especially to me. You are a very talented individual. Things happen in life that produces setbacks, but don’t ever feel like you are failure. You’re okay, you are killing the business right now. I’m so proud of you.” You paused before asking, “Was that your first panic attack?”
“Yeah, that felt so scary.”
“They can be, they really come out of nowhere. But if you want, we can try to find remedies and techniques to combat them so you’re not feeling so overwhelmed.”
Darius nodded his head, “So what do we do now?”
“You drink more water and we can either talk about your feelings more or we can distract you with other things. It’s up to you.”
“The second option.” He said before giving you a hug, “Thanks so much for being here with me.”
Embracing him back, you said, “That’s what I’m suppose to do.” You slowly backed away and got up. You stepped around the pieces of the vase. “I’m gonna get a broom to sweep this up.”
“Sorry about that.” He said sheepishly.
“It’s fine. It was an ugly vase anyways.” You joked.
“Hey!” Darius exclaimed.
“You know it’s true!” You said before leaving the room to get a broom.
Darius looked down at the vase and quietly said, “Yeah, it was.”
But something that isn’t ugly is the friendship (or relationship) that you two have.
And unlike that vase,
the bond between you two will never break.

KINGDOM HEARTS: DIVERGE, VOL. 0 THE FORETELLERS, PROLOGUE — V WRITTEN BY: Naude Lucem -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Of the Foretellers, Gula was the quiet and reserved one. He mostly stayed to himself and, despite being somewhat of an underachiever, his proficiency with the keyblade was on par with Ira’s. Much like the Master, he preferred to sit back and observe everything and everyone around him. As a result, he could see through and pick up on just about anything. Because of how nonchalant and detached he was, there was always a gap between himself and the others. Only Ava was able to bridge that gap. She was the only one he saw as a comrade. Perhaps it was her pureness that helped.
Gula reluctantly dragged himself up to the Master’s chamber. He was so deeply entranced by an alchemy book, talking to himself out loud in awe, that he didn’t hear nor notice his young apprentice trying to get his attention. Gula sighed, and his shoulders sagged.
“If you’re busy, I can always come back later.”
“Sure…” the Master responded, flapping his hand, mostly ignoring him. Then, having remembered, he quickly turned to Gula who was nearly out the door. “No, no, no! Stay, stay!”
Gula could only groan. The Master flipped to the ends of the alchemy book, tore out a page he’d written on, then handed it over to Gula. As he read over what was written, confusion wore across his face.
“Wait, hold on, this seems like –” he started to say but was cut off.
“Yup. That’s exactly what it is. Call it a premonition or whatever.” The Master stood from his chair then stretched his arms then yawned. “Things are going to be different when I’m gone, and I won’t be around to keep everything in check. It’ll be up to you five to keep this realm safe. That said, no matter how ‘unified’ people may claim to be, there’s always someone in it for themselves. In this case though, it’s a bit more complicated than that.”
“What are you getting at?” Gula suspiciously asked.
“Your objective, of course.” He said then pointed to him. “Like I said, it’s just a hunch. Nothing to lose your mind over. But if I’m right about this, then I’ll need you to find the one responsible and stop them before it’s too late.”
“Okay…but what would they be after? And why?” Gula asked.
“I’m glad you asked that question!” The Master gleefully shouted, his arm raised and index finger pointing to the ceiling. “I’ve told you all about the Book of Prophecies, right? It records everything – knowledge, history, and the whatnot across time and existence. It’s gotta have some juicy secrets in it, right? I mean, who wouldn’t want to have access to that kind of info?”
“You did.” Gula pointed out.
“Yeah, well, I’m not a TRAITOR!” The Master snapped at him. “As I was saying –”
“The Darkness prays on people with faint hearts, right?” Gula cut him off then began pacing back and forth. “Any moment of weakness can lead to corruption. No one is truly safe in this world. Eventually, like you say, someone will fall and that can only spell disaster. Whoever this person is will want the Book of Prophecies to carry out their objectives. But what would that be? What would they want? There must be something in there – something that could turn this world upside down, right?”
The Master groaned then pouted. “Way to steal my thunder, show off! It’s not fair! I had a whole thing planned where I was gonna ease into that, but no! You just couldn’t let me have it, huh?!”
“I’m…sorry?” Gula confusingly apologized. ‘But I wasn’t wrong, was I? If I’m going to catch them, I’ll need to know as much as possible, such as where the Book of Prophecies is.”
“I suppose you have a point. Fine, I’ll give you a hint.” the Master said then paused for a moment. He slapped his hand above his heart then spoke, “It’s in the heart of Daybreak. You might not understand it now but if ever that time comes, it’ll make sense…hopefully. If the culprit does manage to find the Book, then it’ll be easy for you to tell who they are.”
“Why is that?”
“Because they’ll know the truth.” The Master answered seriously. His oddly darker than usual tone sent a slight shiver through Gula’s body. It was rare that the Master was ever serious. He sat back down, leaned forward, then crossed his hands and rested his chin on them.
After a brief silence, Gula spoke. “The truth…? What does that mean?”
“All you need to know is that you can’t trust anyone – not even yourself. Act normal and stay focused.” The Master paused for a second, letting a small air silence flow before he spoke again.
“Don’t be anything more than what you already are.” -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Psychic Awakening - Learn how to Discover It?
spiritual awakening online
Exactly who doesn't wonder regardless if happiness that takes is ever potential and if so what can one have to do to create it about? Definitely will this need to possess some form of spiritual waking up and if so how do you really discover it?
spiritual awakening online
Faith based awakening and present-day culture Much of materialist science has this that we are slaves to our inherited mother nature, family upbringing along with economic constraints associated with adult life. Put simply we are led to think that our personal fate is more or less presently predictable and that you'll find little or no personal personal preference in the matter. Present-day commentators thus declare that the only way for improving upon things is to try and change the external usb world and thus your experiences of the consumers in it - your economic, political, a higher level education. And so nowadays, knowledge and idea spiritual ideas will often be sidelined.
It may be true that the very dependence on spiritual awakening is normally challenged implicitly in this Western culture. Still, I suspect many of us privately wonder whether or not they need to undergo some form of personal transformation whenever they are to be really cheerful. This would be completely in line with what full thinkers say within the need for spiritual arising if one is possibly to become a better someone.
The trouble is this particular deeper form of your own change can look like a mystifying operation.
Spiritual awakening together with Observing Spirit Around Observing Spirit, Andrew d Rhodes however explains the process; for example demonstrating how spiritual awareness involves self-awareness and additionally being fully tuned in to inner experience.
Watching Spirit: Evaluating a daily progress in relation to heaven with Gurdjieff and Swedenborg by way of Peter Rhodes, 2005 Chrysalis Books ISBN 0-87785-316-9
The site reader is offered a series of handy spiritual exercises as well as the necessary theoretical knowledge to foster faith based awakening and the very own benefits they can provide. These can be major; including heightened consciousness and vitality, a good focusing of one's strength and sense from individuality and authenticity.
Personal self-help ebooks are in plentiful provide. Often they plead the question whether it be possible to use a tactic or task in addition to the framework of religious ideas which underlie it. For example can we need spiritual objectives regarding what declares of mind non secular awakening can lead you and me into?
On the other hand a world's religions possess plenty to say around human destiny, in addition to morality. The inescapable experience of confronting loss is seen as a critical spiritual test designed for liberating us out of excessive material preoccupation.
Spiritual awakening along with world religions Inside the three Abraham help make religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, success is framed when it comes to our individual identification surviving death with an eternal afterlife. This particular vision, in greater terms, embraces thinking in relation to our habits of life, at times an intermediate declare of waiting and also re-schooling and then, also ultimate union together with the divine (called shangri-la or paradise), or even in a state with ultimate separation within the divine (referred to help you as hell). Inside Hinduism there is reportedly a continuous cycle involving birth, death, together with rebirth (reincarnation) right until - through perfect action, an increase inside selflessness and the train of a spiritual journey - the pattern eventually ends in put out from suffering and additionally merging with the divine.
But such spiritual traditions have not as much to show how their particular teachings can be placed by the spiritual hunter who lives close to a religious civilization: how can such a man use theology to have interaction in healing for the spirit?
Peter Rhodes offers an answer. For the personal level he previously found what to trust about life in addition to death in the Holy bible and Emanuel Swedenborg's interpretation of it. Still it was in the publications of Gurdjieff along with his associates this Rhodes discovered an unusually practical spiritual method for applying Swedenborg's religious thought to the down sides of personal modify.
Deeper ideas together with tasks for psychic awakening Once key idea in the Swedenborgian approach, is of which effort must be meant to turn away from or simply put aside whatever isn't good about the strategy one is living. Noticing Spirit offers together some deeper suggestions and tasks when it comes to waking up to: --
Where you are and at which you want to go, A person's effects on some, Prevailing negatives as part of your character, Your getting aims, Your all-natural side in service for the spiritual side, Versatility from natural time frame, Space for a faith based life, Remembering your own self, Being conscious of someone else's difficulties Removing problems, A real sense associated with self, Being amazed by what is true,
To me this inspiring e-book shows that it is essential so that you can wake up to the design of our illusions and additionally false attachments and then to gain spiritual practical knowledge and understanding on the subject of ourselves and the divine source of all that can be good and real. At the same time what is moreover needed is a bona fide acceptance of the reasons that stand with respect to our journey from personal transformation as well as a willingness to work upon spiritual awakening.
The procedure of spiritual progress described in Seeing Spirit is frustrating. It takes effort, in addition to there are times when spiritual enlightenment about yourself is not a particularly pleasant knowledge. But that while using spiritual power within the divineworking within yourself, it is so much less difficult for you to see a person's true intentions so to listen to other people along with appreciate the amazing benefits in them.
The guide has greatly made it easier for its readers to be able to behave more as stated by their true prices and to pay much better attention to the simple yet inspiring feelings and feelings show within the human intellect.

You could have never expected leaving to hurt so badly. At least, you hadn’t been willing to acknowledge at the time of your departure. There had been far too many other emotions running rampant within your body to make sense of the seed of homesickness your subconsciousness planted in the back of your mind, waiting to bloom when your mental guards were down. It had already been exhausting to pack your bag, to walk down the gravel path and pass the gateway to the main road, tears never ending and heart screaming in objection, to just wait one more minute, maybe he didn’t mean it-!
Yet, his silence, his unwillingness to even try to take back those dagger like words, it spelt out everything to you.
“Oi! Ahmya-senpai!”
The shout of your name across the shop had you snapping to attention, eyes wide and heart beating wildly against the confines of your inner chest, your grip on the haori you had been weaving slipping from your grasp, fluttering silently to the wooden floors beneath your feet.
Did they find you? Were they here? Kami, please-!
Five months. Five months, twenty-three days, three hours, eleven minutes and twelve seconds and counting since you left the Uzui Estate with the bare minimum, since your world broke into a million pieces and your marriage along with. It had taken two weeks of sleeping where you could and selling the few valuables you brought along for food for you to reach your current location, deep between Ina and Akaishi Mountains, Oshika being a quiet but lovely village. By the time you had arrived there, it had been weeks since your last bath and another three days since your last meal, stomach grumbling and kimono dirtied and ripped in various places. What a sight you must have been, so disheveled and filthy, sitting on the edge of the cart of a local merchant who had somehow convinced you in your sleep deprived state to come with him to his home. With the promise of a warm meal and a bath, you took the opportunity with cautious reluctance and hopped on with your near bare travel bag and ragged spirit.
Much to your complete and honest relief, the merchant had been true to his word, his kind and tender hearted wife rushing to tend to you from the moment her husband introduced you to her.
“Oh you poor dear! Come, come, let’s get you cleaned up and fed!” The short, dark haired woman showed no sign of pity or disgust on her loving face when her hand came to gently take hold of your upper arm, guiding you to what had been their washroom. “Tsuyu! Fetch a fresh towel and hot water for me please!”
The woman, whom you came to know as Hana whilst she assisted you in thoroughly scrubbing your matted locks proved to be the sweetest yet cunning individual you had ever met. With a tongue swift as a hawk and mind sharp as a tack, Hana was a force to be reckoned with, never faltering and forever on track and correct. Just like Nao-san, your subconscious had quietly reminiscenced as you ate her wonderful cooking, clean and dressed in fresh clothes. They asked for your name and much to your anxiety fueled mindset, you offered the name of Ahmya instead of your own. If lying ensured your hidden survival, then so be it.
Hana-san and her husband, Naoki-san, along with their two children Tsuyu and Kento, welcomed you, or rather Ahmya, with open arms, the small family warm and comforting as you attempted to stand on your own feet once again. Few days following your arrival, Hana-san insisted on taking you into town, the children eagerly following at your heels with promises to show you everything and everyone. The townsfolk, much to your utter surprise, were polite and eager to welcome you the newcomer, many asking where you had come from and how you ended up in their small, secluded village. How hard it had been to not cry when those questions arose, shame and agony digging their talons into the meat of your flesh, tears threatening to fall whilst your lip quivered with effort to withhold the sobs threatening to slip from your lips. Your assertive host had thankfully come to your aid in those moments of weakness, wrapping a comforting arm around the middle of your back, easily placating the villagers with a snarky response or insisting you had other errands to complete.
No one asked questions after that day, except for the occasional ones Hana-san and Naoki-san snuck in during evening tea some nights after the children were fast asleep and all chores were finished. It took nearly a month into your stay for you to be strong enough to speak about the reasoning behind your travels, how you had failed your husband and in turn destroyed one of the best things you ever had. The couple were quite insistent that it couldn’t have been you, that no sensible man nor woman would let someone as wonderful as you slip through their fingers, no matter the situation. You failed to believe them but the ache in your heart began to grow dull over time, now becoming an occasional pain rather than constant as it had been. Said pain, however, always came back with a vengeance when any thought of the life you left behind arose, self deprecating thoughts squeezing your heart so tightly it became too hard to breathe. So, you did everything you could to not think about them.
Yet, thoughts of them refused to leave you.
Every time you spotted a cloud shaped like an animal or white lilies, you couldn’t help but cry and hear Suma’s laughter.
Every time you were given a sunflower, dried or fresh picked from a neighbor that had no idea what they or who they signified, you couldn’t stop the tears from forming as Makio’s playful shouts echoed within every tear.
Every time you watched the sakura trees shed their downy petals, the phantom feeling of Hinatsuru’s hand on yours whilst you gazed at the heavens above brought you to tears.
Every time you found your gaze landing on the shimmering chimes on the edge of the front engawa, a yellow camellia bush right below it, sobs threatened to escape your pursed lips, guilt eating away at your insides.
Life just wasn’t life without them.
Still, with no other choice, you continued onward with your life, assisting Naoki-san around the farm and Hana-san in the house, Kento and Tsuyu adamant in accompanying you wherever you went, the pair always reminding you of Hikari and subsequently Nana-san, Kiki-san, and Nao-san.
Were they missing you as much as you were missing them?
As you adjusted to your life in Oshika, job opportunities came flocking to you. News of your sewing prowess had eventually made its way into the village (you had found your shocked gaze falling upon Hana-san’s playful smirk at Naoki-san’s telling of the recent gossip) and before you knew it, Riku-san, an older woman who happened to own a tailor shop with her daughter Miwa-san, came to the door with a job offer. Hana-san had been crafty in assuring you were unable to refuse Riku-san’s offer and two days later you found yourself entering the shop, hands shaking and mind racing. The job turned out to be exactly what you needed at the time, acting as a perfect distraction; your mind wandered little when a needle rested between your fingers, fabric resting lifelessly in your lap. You rarely had a moment's rest, something to assist you in looking towards the future, mornings spent at the tailor shop whilst the afternoon was full of chores and tending to the children.
Life only grew busier when Saito-san, one of the villagers, approached you one day while you worked the counter in the shop, bags under his eyes and desperation fueling every one of his steps. His young son, Taiki, had fallen ill with a particularly nasty fever that refused to break and every remedy known to him had failed in breaking it. The doctor had gone down the mountain in search of medicinal supplies in one of the larger villages, meaning there was no one else who could help the boy in his hour of need. Saito-san begged for Riku-san to help him, stating he had asked every person for assistance but had been met with apologies and well wishes, no other villager able to help. Before Riku-san could turn the desperate father from her door empty handed, you found yourself stepping from behind the counter without a thought, quietly offering your help much to your own surprise. Within a half hour, you found yourself bearing a basket of various herbs and a mortar and pestle, entering the place Saito-san and his family called home with shaking hands.
The moment you saw the sickly Taiko-kun chased away any second thoughts you had possessed then.
Drenched in sweat and cheeks red as apples, Taiki-kun laid near lifeless in bed, unconscious and unresponsive, his fever being just that high. You found yourself once again moving without thought, ordering Saito-san to fetch freshwater from the well whilst you went to work grounding your herbs together, asking his mother to heat up a kettle of water. Both parents did as they were asked without a word of objection, providing you with everything you could need and then some, willing to do whatever they needed to do if it meant their son’s eyes would open again. Hours upon hours slipped by as you devotedly attended to Taiki-kun and slowly, much to everyone’s relief, his fever grew weaker and weaker until it finally broke with the rising of the sun. The parents had begun crying in relief when slowly, Taiki-kun opened his eyes, revealing irises of fuchsia that were so much like-. You quickly excused yourself from the family soon after that, promising to return if the fever made a comeback later in the day, and disappeared into the woods, frustrated tears coasting down your (s/c) cheeks.
From then on, it seemed that whenever the doctor had to venture beyond the village to gather supplies or was simply overrun with patients, you were seen as the person to seek out. Hoshi-sensei had actually been eager to take on what he deemed an apprentice upon hearing your work with the Saito family, enough that he took time out of his schedule to teach you various medical techniques he had gathered over the years and you did the same in kind, happy to simply assist wherever needed. Helping people had always filled your inner soul with happiness; it was the reason why you did your best to help out at the estate-.
Altogether, when it came down to the nitty gritty, your time spent at the shop, with Hoshi-sensei, and your host family was rejuvenating to your broken spirit. You somehow had purpose again, ones that were working to quell some of the residual pain that remained in the wake of your exodus. It, however, did not dispel the truth of the reality you fought to ignore following your departure, the one you had desperately tried to deny.
“Hoshi-sensei is here with fresh herbs, Ahmya-senpai!”
Brushing away the heavy thoughts that continued to bog down your already messy mind, you shakely set your needle and thread aside on the tray beside you. “C-coming, Miwa-san!”
You pressed the palms of your hands into the arms of your designated seat in the shop, focusing all your strength and energy into prying yourself from the comforting cradle of the rocking chair.
“What on earth do you think you’re doing, foolish child?!”
Hands weathered by hard work and age latched onto your upper arm with concern, an arm wrapping around your waist in support as Riku-san appeared in your field vision, a look of annoyance on her face. “You know better than to exert yourself, girl! Enna-san would tan your hide if she saw you doing that!”
“Apologies, Riku-san. I didn’t want to keep Hoshi-sensei waiting.” You gave the older woman a sheepish smile, standing to your feet. “I keep forgetting I can’t do everything on my own anymore.”
“Well you best get used to it, your abilities will only become more taxing with time.” Riku-san peered at your form with a cool and calculating eye of piercing ice blue, a huff escaping your employer as she pulled away. “You should be grateful you are still able to do anything, with how large you’ve become.”
Her gaze downwards shifted from your face to your midsection, latching onto the growing swell of your stomach with poorly hidden concern, your cheeks going red with embarrassment as you moved to cradle it in the palms of your hands.
What a hard truth it had been when Hana-san and Riku-san forced you to take note of the changes your body was experiencing a month or so into your stay in Oshika, the same damn changes that had begun a week into your travels. Nausea in the morning hours had been the bane of your existence, and the random waves of fatigue were nearly debilitating and dangerous, seeing as how you found yourself in unknown and potentially unsafe territory those first weeks. You refused to let reality take hold, choosing to ignore how your breasts grew tender as your stay with Hana-san and her family grew into a month, yet the woman was tactfully relentless in her questioning and prying, both her and Riku-san were. They had done everything in their power to make you acknowledge the painful truth, to make you swallow the bitter pill of your reality, saying things such as “You’re glowing, Ahmya-san” and “Are you in need of a better fitting kimono, Ahmya-san?” All you could hear was his disappointment with every comment they made, ‘how could you damn our chil-’, ‘that bastard is not my-’, ‘what a deplorable sight you’ve become’-.
It wasn’t until they dragged you to the village midwife that you finally eased away the veil of denial you had placed over yourself the moment the symptoms began to develop nearly two months before and the midwife, Enna-san, confirmed it with a comforting squeeze of your hand.
Rubbing at the swell with a tender hand, you settled your (e/c) irises on the protruding bump beneath your kimono. “It is hard to believe that I still have two and a half months to go, huh?”
Enna-san had asked the hard question that seemed to weigh on everyone’s minds but yours, for you already knew the truth.
“Ahmya-san, do you happen to know when you may have conceived?”
Flashes of sweat covered skin had swept across your consciousness, moans and cries of pleasure echoing loudly in the cave like crevices of your subconscious, wet skin slapping against skin following closely behind with an orgasm-fueled scream.
“TENGEN-SAMA!”
“What is hard to believe is how you are still capable of moving as well as you can! I was never this large, even at the time I gave birth to Miwa.” The older woman huffed, the two of you slowly making your way to the front of the shop.
A wave of knowing sadness washed over you with a teary smile forming on your lips, voice creaking like old floor boards with emotion. “Like I told Enna-san, my husband, he was quite the man in terms of size. Around 6’6”, if I remember correctly.”
By the time you came to acknowledge your developing pregnancy, you were already around thirteen weeks along and showing enough that Enna-san thought you were to be further along, something that was chalked up to the baby’s parental parentage in the end. Your child’s conception was one that was never supposed to occur, having used the herbal contraceptives you had taught how to prepare since the young age of ten years old in case you happened to be rap-. That aside, any conception had to have taken place the day they had departed for their unexpected mission; it had been the last time the pair of you were successfully physical with one another.
The woman sent you a quick glance of poorly veiled regret, a face many seemed to wear when the topic of him came about in conversation, and changed the topic with the ease of a well-practiced saleswoman. “Perhaps while he is here, Hoshi-sensei should examine you. It never hurts to gain a second opinion on matters such as this.”
“Who should I examine on this fine day?”
Your cheeks turned a deep red at realizing your mentor had overheard the woman, the pair of you entering the front room as you nervously waved your hands in objection. “Oh, it’s nothing, Hoshi-sensei, really! Riku-san was simply commenting on my current size, that’s all!”
Standing at the counter was the man who had taken you under his wing in terms of medical practice, standing at the mere height of what you would estimate to be five feet if that, his spiky salt and pepper locks sticking out in all different directions. A pair of dark frames sat precariously on the tip of his bulbous nose, unintentionally accentuating his welcoming eyes of vibrant coral and the age spots splattered across his facial features.
“Ah, yes! How have you been fairing my dear? No problems I hope!” Hoshi-sensei turned his attention away from where Miwa-san was standing to you and Riku-san, the man cheerful as ever.
“J-just a bit of exhaustion and back pain here and there, that’s all!” Hoping to escape the older man’s attention, you shot him a nervous smile. “Enna-san says that’s completely normal, considering the baby’s size and my build!”
Letting out a hum of agreeance, Hoshi-sensei came to stroke his patchy goatee with thought. “That is true, seeing how far along you are now.”
He swiftly bounced out of his thoughtful state with a cry, pointing an accusatory finger at your person. “However! It could also be due to stress or overworking yourself! Well, have you?!”
Before you could even process what was happen, horrified embarrassment having flooded your veins at the man’s questioning, a pair of scissors went flying by Hoshi-sensei’s thrashing head, cutting close enough to leave a sliver of a cut on his cheek before imbedding into the wall behind him.
Your attention snapped to where the scissors had originated from, Riku-san gifting Hoshi-sensei with her signature stern glare. “Ahmya-san’s only source of stress at this moment is you, you dolt!”
Miwa-san let out a shout of her own, cheeks red with angered frustration. “MAMA!”
“Hush, Miwa! I will not have this idiot of a doctor upsetting her so early in the day!” The young woman bowed her head in submission to her tsunami of a mother, Riku-san returning her sights to a trembling Hoshi-sensei. “Now, what is it that you needed, you old coot?”
Her question yanked Hoshi-sensei out of his fearful state, any worry becoming replaced with what seemed to be the snap of Riku-san’s fingers, a cheery grin overtaking the look of horror. “Oh, yes! I have some fresh herbs for Ahmya-san here and I was hoping to gather some fabric, nothing fancy, just some measly scraps will do! They’re quite efficient as bandages I’ve discovered and sadly my supply has already been depleted by at least a fourth!”
“But Hoshi-sensei, didn’t you just return from your supply run from the valley village yesterday?” Confused by the situation at hand, you adjusted your head into a cocked position of concern, placing your hands on your back to ease the ache of your additional weight. “Did something happen?”
“Well, the craziest thing happened, ya see! I had just arrived back at my home at the edge of Ishiguro Forest, when a small group of women approached me! Their clothes were in tatters and they had all kinds of cuts, scraps, and bruises, you name it! They said they had just escaped a demon and were looking for shelter within Oshika, so I allowed them to stay the night. Couldn’t leave a group of injured, beautiful women out in the cold, after all!”
Miwa-san gazed at the doctor with curiosity, lilac bangs bouncing about her face. “Beautiful women, you say? How many were there?”
It was at that moment that your attention shifted elsewhere, Riku-san turning to you with a firm gaze as the pair’s conversation continued in the distance and gestured to the chair behind the counter. “I am going to fetch the fabric scraps while they are distracting one another. Please do your best to make sure that imbecile does not ruin my shop.”
“Hai Riku-san!”
With that, the women reentered the inner workings of the shop, leaving you to observe the two chattering away at the counter.
“Oh! That’s right! Ahmya-san!” The doctor leaned downwards and returned to his full height with a medium sized basket in his grasp, a bounty of various medicinal herbs cradled within it. “Here are the herbs you’ve been asking for, fresh from the valley!”
“Thank you, Hoshi-sensei, you’re too kind!” You took the basket from the man with careful ease, doing your best to steer clear of your protruding belly, something that was becoming harder and harder to do with every passing week.
“Nonsense dear, it was my pleasure! With the flowers in bloom, it was honestly a treat!” Hoshi-sensei flashed you a gleaming smile, pulling his focus away from Miwa-san and their conversation. “Though the bees were not as excited to see me as I was them, hoho!”
Turning away with a giggle, you waddled into the room behind you. “I bet they weren’t, sensei. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll set these back here for safe keeping. Would you care for some tea by the way?”
“That would be terrific, my dear!”
Before the man could say anything else, the chime of the front door rang, and his voice skyrocketed through the air. “Ah, ladies! I was wondering when you were going to arrive! Ahmya-san come meet my gorgeous guests!”
You shook your head at the old man’s antics, taking hold of the tea pot and pouring a cup for your mentor. “I’ll be right there, sensei!”
In the distance, you could hear the muffled voices of women (perhaps three?) conversing with Hoshi-sensei and Miwa-san as you prepared his tea, and in the dark recesses of your mind, an ember of recognition briefly sparked.
Humming softly, you took hold of the cup and made your way back into the store front, a welcoming smile on your lips. “Here’s your tea sensei-!”
The moment your (e/c) eyes met the shocked irises of blue, violet, and brown, you forgot about the tea, about your sensei and friend, about the entire world. Time froze, everything coming together and falling apart in a matter of agonizingly drawn out seconds, the tea cup in your hands slipping from your grasp.
No, no, no it can’t, they can’t be, NO…
With a resounding crash of the tea cup shattering on the floor, time sprinted forward to resume its traditional speed and the situation at hand followed closely behind without a second to recover. None of you could look away from one another, the three women standing across the shop from your position gazing at you with hesitant wonder, shimmers of hope glimmering weakly in their eyes.
To speak proved to be an emotionally taxing chore as Makio’s lips trembled with effort, such brokenness in the voice you remembered as confident and brash.
“Y/N-chan?”

aside from the actors being like 10 years older than the characters, and the bad effects what’s so bad about the animorphs tv show? is it worth a watch just for fun?
Short answer: No. Not worth it. It’s so bad on so many levels, and has fundamental writing problems that make all of the characters stupidly inconsistent (if they’re yeerks) or morally reprehensible (if they’re Animorphs).
Longer answer: The Animorphs TV show is unfortunately quite badly written and also quite limited by its own budget, to the point where the characters and plots and themes simply do not translate. The yeerks aren’t threatening, the battles aren’t violent, the team isn’t close, and 0% of what makes Animorphs unique — from the body horror to the humor — makes it to the final product.
However, in the interest of fairness, a few things I do like from AniTV:
• Stealthy yeerk tech.
I love the detail that the dracon beams look like flashlights. Yes it’s cheesy, and yes the decision probably came from budgetary constraints and/or censorship. However, it just makes so much more sense to me than the ray-gun design from the books. The tube shape not only looks harmless — allowing controllers to arm kids as young as Karen without drawing attention — but it seems like it’d be much easier to use for hosts with hands as small as taxxons’ or as large as hork-bajir’s. The ray-gun look seems a little too ergonomically correct for humans in particular.
Also, the use of yeerks-in-thermoses, yeerks-in-thermometers, and yeerks-in-phones all makes the threat so much more flexible and immediate. Rather than having to go through an elaborate process of luring humans to yeerk pools, AniTV controllers only need to come up with an excuse to press an innocent-looking object against your ear.
• Paranoia and uncanniness.
Richard Sali as Chapman might be the best performance on the show. He does this cool thing where he has completely normal-looking reactions to Melissa asking a question or Marco misbehaving... only the reaction always comes a solid 2 - 3 seconds too late. It’s unnerving as hell, and it really sells the idea that this is an alien playing a part.
Plus, the use of minor background characters who are just... walking by. Once the show hammers home the idea that every single passerby could be a controller in the opening of the second episode, it can increase the tension in a scene just by having a few extras wander by in the background of the frame. It’s an effect that works well in visual media, and one that doesn’t require a big budget.
• Having Elfangor just hand Tobias a physical CD of his hirac dilest instead of messing around with mystical andalite bloodline crap.
Honestly I prefer the “space CD o’ intel” device because it’s a problem the audience can immediately get behind. We understand instantly why it’s useful, why just plugging it into Jake’s computer won’t work (although it’s adorable they still try), why it’s dangerous to have, and why it’s going to take some additional plot time to figure out how to get it open.
The plot itself that comes out of the disc is frequently kinda cool. The Animorphs and controllers go back-and-forth over it for a while, only for the controllers to get it, only for the controllers to discover it’s biometrically locked to Elfangor’s DNA, so only Ax can get it open, so there are a bunch of controllers gunning for him... And then there’s the twist that it’s biometrically locked not to andalite-Elfangor’s DNA but human-Elfangor’s DNA, meaning only Tobias, not Ax, can open it. Great plot fuel, and much easier to understand than the whole “utzum” thing that Elfangor uses to give Tobias his hirac dilest in book canon.
(Technically, it’s incorrect to say Elfangor hands Tobias the CD, because he waits until Tobias has already walked like 50 feet away and then attempts to throw Tobias the CD, only to miss and have it fall in a hole... but I’m doing my best not to criticize AniTV in this list.)
• Dead. Grandpa. Tuxedo.
The best characterization note in AniTV has got to be Cassie loaning Jake a tuxedo that belonged to her grandfather so that he can wear it to their school’s dance. Cassie says she found this thing in her attic, Jake is unironically enthusiastic about the history behind Dead Grandpa Tux, Rachel threatens to disown Jake rather than have any member of her family appear at a high school mixer in a fucking tuxedo from the fucking 1940s, Jake and Cassie are blissfully unaware that “way too formal” and “50 years out of style” are concepts that exist... It’s all so beautifully in-character.
• The escargot scene.
• The secret ex-controller support group.
Obviously I’m fascinated by the lives of former yeerk hosts, but I also think that the potential for the group of them that Tobias encounters is nearly infinite. As the kids mention in #13, even just one or two escaped hosts have the potential to destabilize the whole Yeerk Empire through showing that escape is possible. Toby’s warriors are incredibly important for the war effort, and Eva eventually becomes a massive source of insider intel from the Empire. The idea of a group of humans who used to be controllers all helping each other while also helping the Animorphs is so friggin cool, and I’m just really bummed that we only got like 30 seconds of screen time for them before Tobias gets them recaptured by yeerks.
All right, I think I’m out of nice things to say. AniTV has its moments; I’ll give the show that much.

A/N: thank you so much for this request! I hope you like it. The daughter sounds a bit older than 5, in my head she’s in the early stages of elementary school. Let me know what you think about it! I’d be glad to receive some feedback. (Btw I hurt my own feelings writing this, you can’t even imagine...)
You were in your office, a typical Tuesday afternoon until you heard your office phone ring once more. You held up your finger to make your client pause what they were saying, you picked up the phone only to hang up.
“I apologise for the inconvenience. Now where were we ?” you said trying to get your client comfortable again despite the ringing. As she was about to speak up again, your cellphone rang, Spencer’s name lit up your screen and that’s when you were starting to get concerned.
“I’m so sorry I have to get that.” You said exiting the office to take the call. You were happy to hear your significant other’s voice nonetheless you knew he wouldn’t normally call you during working hours.
“Hi darling, is everything okay ?”
“No, not really. The school called, there’s an emergency.” he responded wrapping his scarf around his neck as he was making his way to the elevator.
“What happened ?” you asked getting more and more worried.
“She punched a classmate in the face. Can you believe it ?!” he pressed the button 0 waving goodbye to his coworkers.
“What ? Our daughter? Jane ? Are you sure it’s not her evil twin ?”
“Eviler twin you mean ? No offense, Y/n, but if she had one, I’m pretty sure you would remember…”
“Alright, I’ll tell my secretary to cancel all my appointments for the day. I’ll meet you there.”
“Love you, bye.”
“Love you too.” You answered before hanging up. You made it a little bit of a rule to yourself to never say ‘goodbye’ to him because you thought that if you did it may increase the chances of you never seeing him again. You knew it was a bit silly but with all those times he was close to death, you’d believe in any superstition if that meant he would get home safe.
After taking care of your client and letting your secretary handle the rest, you hurried out of your office to drive to your daughter’s elementary school.
You pushed the interphone button, once you were allowed entrance you walked to the principal’s office. You softly knocked, when the door opened it showed Spencer sitting in a chair right across the desk, next to it was an empty chair meant for you.
“I’m sorry, I came as I soon as I could.” you apologized.
“Well, I assume you’re Jane’s mother. It’s nice to meet you. I’m Principal Walker.” he greeted shaking your hand. As you sat down, Spencer gave you his best polite white smile.
“Do you know what you’re here for ?” he inquired.
“You said our daughter was involved in a conflict with a student...” you answered.
“Your daughter punched a student in the face.” He said bluntly.
“Right…”
“Are you sure it’s Jane ?” Spencer asked still struggling to believe it.
“Wait until you see her knuckles...”
Spencer put his face in his hands in defeat, you rubbed his shoulder to bring him comfort.
“What happened exactly ?” you asked.
“Well, it was during the 10AM break. Jane went out to play with her classmates when a boy started arguing with her. Next thing we hear is a scream, the boy is on the floor crying.”
You and Spencer both looked at each other with an immense look of stupor.
“The boy, did he bully her ?” Spencer asked trying to find some innocence in the sweet child of his.
“Not that we know of.” answered the principal.
“Is he okay though ?” you questioned.
“Yes, just a minor injury. He went back home.”
You nodded, “So what happens next ?”
“We are giving her a warning but the next time something like this happens there will be harsher consequences than a simple punishment. Understood ?”
“Yes. we understand. Thank you for your time, sir.” you said as you rose up from your chair. Spencer and you both exited the room finding your daughter in the waiting lounge looking guilty as ever. You saw Spencer’s face look puzzled and hostile. To torture your daughter with even more guilt you told her to ride back home with her dad which she did not love but couldn’t protest.
Spencer hardly spoke to Jane the entire drive. He was dry, so much it looked like he ignored her. Jane was desperate to get him to talk to her.
“Please, dad. Don’t be mad at me!” she exclaimed.
“I’m not mad, I’m disappointed.” those words he pronounced cut like a knife. You knew that by seeing her dad’s reaction she would become aware of the gravity of her actions. And he actually wasn’t mad, at least not until he saw her pouting face. He loved her too much to be angry.
“Okay but can you just talk to me!” she whined.
“Oh we will, back home with your mom.”
That car ride lasted longer for Jane than usual. No music, no anecdotes nor laughs, just plain silence and introspection while gazing at the landscape.
Your house was in the suburbs near a forest, Spencer had all sorts of scientific arguments as to why living near nature was beneficial but you just loved the paysage before your eyes when taking your morning coffee. The location was perfect; in nature which means less pollution, noise and lower criminal rates yet a short car ride from the city which was full of cultural spots and with high quality education.
Jane tried to run up the stairs in hope to avoid her parents’ correction but was interrupted by your strict toned voice; “Not so fast, young lady.”
She shut her eyes stopping dead in her tracks, she lifted her stuffed animal and said to it “It was nice knowing you, fluffy.” She then turned around and sat on the couch.
Spencer was pacing around, “Why did you do it ?” He asked his daughter his voice slightly higher than before. She started melting in tears which truly pained him. You walked up to her, as you were sat on the couch next to her you started stroking her arm and drying her tears.
“It’s okay. We’re just trying to understand why you did that. There’s no way you would’ve done it without a reason.” you told her.
“Jeremy kept making fun of me…” she struggled to get out whimpering.
“How long has he been making fun of you ?” Spencer asked.
“Since Valentine’s day when everyone was exchanging cards but my box was empty.” You glanced at Spencer in shock of how long you hadn’t known your daughter was getting bullied, silently suffering.
“Honey, I’m so sorry you had to go through this.” you reassured her kissing her cheek and running your hands through her hair. “But what happened exactly that made you punch him ?”
“He made fun of dad, he wouldn’t believe he was in the FBI.” She answered tilting her head up. “I asked him to stop but he wouldn’t so I defended myself.” she affirmed seeming not so guilty anymore. You unwrapped your arms from her giving her a frown.
“That’s not how you deal with problems.” Spencer said sitting on the low table across the couch.
“Yeah, you could’ve talked to us first but you didn’t even try. You know you can tell us everything ?” You backed him up.
“I know but I thought I could deal with this problem on my own. You guys always seem so good at it. And I want to be just like you when I grow up.”
You glanced at Spencer both slightly smiling at each other.
“If there’s one thing I learned from my job at the FBI is that violence is never the answer. It’s only justifiable if it’s legitimate defence; when you life is in danger.”
“Dad, do you still love me ?” she asked watching her feet swinging on the edge of the couch.
“Of course, I love you. I always will, no matter what.” he responded taking hold of her hand. “Okay?” She nodded. She didn’t seem to understand that punching someone is wrong. You needed to have a talk with Spencer;
“Now go to your room and do your homework, we’ll talk punishment tomorrow morning.” You said.
“But-“ she protested.
“No buts, go to your room.” You ordered.
You joined Spencer on the couch, he looked completely defeated. “Hey, are you alright ?” You asked him while taking a seat next to him. “Yes.” He answered a bit too quickly. “I mean…No…Not really.” You knew exactly why he was feeling like this. “It’s not your fault, Spence.” you reassured him playing with his hair.
“This whole time…And I didn’t know she was struggling. What kind of father am I ?”
“I come home every night and I didn’t know about this. It’s not because of your job, it’s not because of us. I’m blaming the school, here. They’re the ones who are supposed to prevent bullying from happening.”
He rummaged his hair with his hands whilst his elbows rested on his knees.
“Plus it’s a good sign, she doesn’t get along with kids her age…” you said slightly smirking.
“How?!” Spencer asks slightly irritated due to his public middle school flashbacks.
“It’s a sign of high intellectual potential. Her emotional age is too advanced for kids her age to understand, they tend to be too insensitive for her. She believes animals and inanimate objects have emotions and that they are intelligent. She talks to her stuffed animal like it’s a pet. She took the pepperonis out of her pizza! Also she has an enormous amount of creativity and she’s highly sensitive to her surroundings. Have you seen how she profiled your every move and suddenly her emotions followed ? Just like you she’s protective of the ones she loves. She only punched that kid because he wasn’t exactly talking highly of you…”
“So you’re saying…”
“Our daughter could be a genius.”
“As mother as daughter.” he complimented with a smirk.
“Oh come on we know who’s the genius here!” you said slapping his shoulder playfully.
You both chuckled. You kept talking for at least half an hour to come up with a plan you both agreed to. It’s not good for a child to watch their parents disagree.
~slight time lapse~
An hour after dinner, you went up to your daughter’s bedroom as it was her bedtime. You leaned on the door frame admiring Spencer, sat next to Jane on her bed, reading a story to her about conflict to teach her what to do in the type of situations she got in. He learned that from you since you were a psychologist. He admired how resourceful and clever you were. He couldn’t be more proud to have you as his significant other and the mother of his child. Your foot made a cracking noise on the hard wood floor which caught Jane attention.
“Mommy! Come!” she exclaimed shaking her little hands.
“What’s up?” you ask sitting next to the bed.
“Me and dad were reading this book you got me and now i understand. I’m sorry for not coming to you first. I just didn’t like what they said about dad.”
“Honey, it doesn’t matter what people think of you. Seeking validation from people can be so unhealthy. If you keep bottling up your emotions you’re going to explode like a bomb and that’s no good.”
“Can you forgive me, mommy ?”
“Of course. You’re still growing, as long as you learn from your mistakes I’m confident you’re going to be alright.” You answered squeezing her hand. Spencer watched in awe, it reminded him how in love with you he is.
“Yes, please don’t ever do that again!” he said a bit too quickly with a high pitched voice that made you all burst in laughter.
“Alright, you should get some sleep.” you told her giving her a kiss on the cheek and tucking her in; “Good night, my love.”
Spencer kissed her temple and set aside the little book he was reading to her wishing her good night as well. You walked out switching the lights off. As you walked down the stairs you asked Spencer to stop in his tracks pointing your finger up; Jane was talking to her stuffed animal. You both had to muffle your laughs. The future looked bright.

You said to remind you about that Henry and the CCC thing...I can’t find it...
YES YOU'RE RIGHT
A lot has happened so I haven't been able to get to it for a while but THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME
So first of all, I want to emphasize the CCC's relative importance in the Henry Stickmin series.
Part 1: The CCC vs the other factions
All of the other major factions in THSC appeared in Infiltrating the Airship or later, not counting Winston Davis and Gene Fredrickson, two members of the Toppat Clan who were introduced before the Toppat Clan was formally introduced. The Government and the Toppat Clan were formally introduced in Infiltrating the Airship, and The Wall was formally introduced in Fleeing the Complex.
The Center for Chaos Containment, meanwhile, made an appearance as early as Stealing the Diamond, back when Henry was a simple thief with some bizarre abilities (which I will touch on in a bit). Since their initial introduction, the CCC has made brief yet consistent appearances in every following game, introducing at least one member who has not been seen prior (often more).
So, if they're so important, why are they so much less prominent than other factions? Simple: their job is to contain chaos from behind the scenes to try to normalize the world around them. Unless something major is going down that requires intervention, there's no reason to publicly show their face.
And honestly? It might actually be better for everyone that they don't. After all, the CCC has demonstrated power beyond what the Government or the Toppats could even dream of. Sure, the Toppats might also have giant space lasers, but they were only able to get them after major funding and numerous months--probably years--of preparation. Likewise, the Government may have access to nuclear (emphasis on "may" because this is unconfirmed), but the CCC is able to whip these out without a second thought.
Yet the CCC's power goes further. Also at the CCC's disposal are gargantuan robots (one of which is G.A.B.E.G.G., which forces the Govt to abort the Toppat raid), a calculator that can instantly vaporize the world by dividing by 0, the ability to stop time itself, and a "Dark Energy Blaster" (capable of instantly wiping out all life within a certain radius).
Sure, the Government may have Charles' helicopter which is capable of some wacky things, and the Toppat Clan and the Wall may have superpowered members, but none of it even comes close to just how far the CCC's power extends. And yet! No one! Talks about it!!
Okay, so I've talked on and on about just how strong the CCC is. How is this at all related to Henry?
Part 2: Henry Stickmin, a thief in need of cash
Before I can get into how Henry and the CCC are connected, I need to touch on who Henry Stickmin actually is, or at least how he started.
Early on in the series, before he was captured by the Govt, Henry's sole motive was getting money in order to pay for rent (and presumably other bills).
Over the course of the first two games, Breaking the Bank and Escaping the Prison, Henry learns two new things about himself:
1. Not only does he die in numerous alternate timelines, but he remembers these timelines in which he dies (or is otherwise inconvenienced) as though they were his own.
2. Some mysterious force which he had never before known (the player) has begun to provide him with various tools to help him achieve various degrees of success (or lack thereof).
The evidence for both of these are provided by one particular recurring object in the series: the Teleporter. Not only does Henry make direct eye contact to glare at the player in ItA, but the series has him show increasing reluctance to use the teleporter whenever it's provided (eventually becoming outright refusal in Completing the Mission). Additionally, the teleporter's use in Fleeing the Complex is mutually exclusive to its use in both ItA and CtM due to the teleporter appearing in an incompatible route, suggesting he's even aware of the routes that he does not take.
However, there's one more thing which points to this being the case, which is also were we can start to see a connection between Henry and the CCC.
Off to the right, we can see that Henry was brainstorming potential jobs around the start of Stealing the Diamond.
Janitor
Prison Guard
Test subject
All but one of these options have been crossed out: “test subject”, suggesting that this is the job that he’s decided to settle on. What’s especially interesting here is that the same game we see this is the same game that introduces the Center for Chaos Containment. The connections don’t end there, though.
Part 3: Henry and the CCC
As you’ve probably gathered by now, I’m making the claim that, by the beginning of Stealing the Diamond, Henry has started working for the CCC as a test subject. I mean, someone who regularly causes accidental chaos working for a faction whose job it is to contain chaos makes sense on its own, but add to that the fact that any major repercussions caused by the CCC’s reckless decisions are immediately undone with no lasting consequences? You could say it’s too good of a fit.
Plus, it would explain how they consistently appear in the same general area as Henry (even if Kyle Baxter doesn’t actually act in FtC). There are more connections between Henry and the CCC, though.
1) The CCC’s various tools directly interact with Henry at multiple points in the series, and Henry seems much less surprised by the CCC’s actions.
Meanwhile, others seem much less aware of the CCC’s influence.
2) Even with all of the major chaos incidents that Henry directly causes, Henry himself never catches the CCC’s attention.
The CCC repeatedly mentions “chaos readings” whenever chaos incidents happen in a particular area, yet either Henry himself doesn’t give off chaos readings or the CCC actively ignores him. The first option seems unlikely due to Henry’s, well... everything. Yet, if Henry gave off chaos readings and was unaffiliated with the CCC, then why wouldn’t they put more focus on containing Henry directly? Sure, they wouldn’t succeed due to Henry being able to undo their more harmful actions, but the fact that they aren’t even antagonists is... intriguing.
3) Adding on to 2, when the CCC doesn’t accidentally hurt Henry, they directly help him somehow.
While this is rarely their immediate goal, the CCC’s attempts to contain chaos often help Henry in some way or another. In Stealing the Diamond, the Tunisian diamond happens to get thrown right next to him after he escapes from the museum; in Infiltrating the Airship, Henry takes one member’s flying suit in order to make his escape with the Romanian Ruby; and in Completing the Mission, the CCC’s intervention leads the Govt to aborting the Toppat raid.
All of these are minor coincidences, but what really ties this together is the secret ending of CtM, the Multiverse Correction.
In this secret ending, the multiverse is “defragmented” and an anomaly is corrected. The way this anomaly is corrected is actually by spawning in the package seen in Escaping the Prison.
Up to now, I’ve mentioned multiple minor details that tangentially connect Henry to the CCC, but I’ve only mentioned in passing what is probably the most important part of this whole post: you, the player.
Part 4: The Player (You) and the CCC
As the various teleporter uses demonstrate, you (the player) are a separate being from Henry, and you provide Henry with different tools or make various decisions from him. However, there are very few times (if any) in which you exert full control over Henry. A major demonstration of this is with the hammer.
All identical looking options, yet depending on which of the three you select, Henry does something different with the hammer. Aside from subtle sound cues, you don’t get any clue what each option will do. All the decision making is done by Henry.
However, there are characters which you DO exert direct control over: Clyde Jenkins, Wilson Stone, and Ellias Bahtchin. All of them are members of the Center for Chaos Containment.
Every time you take control of these characters, you have a first person view of their options and, in the case of Clyde, your mouse becomes his hand.
At no other point do you control a character like this, not even with Henry. This is a trait exclusive to these three characters. And, quite frankly, it’s incredibly fascinating from a gameplay standpoint.
Is it possible that based on this, you (the player) also work for the CCC? Maybe, but it’s entirely likely that the CCC (excluding Henry) are unaware of your presence.
Conclusion:
The fact that Henry considered applying as a test subject in Stealing the Diamond as a direct result of his chaos and just so happened to keep bumping into the Center for Chaos Containment in every game since then feels like more than just coincidence.

Astro Musings No. 4
Synastry in the 12th house
…Can make two people secretly afraid of each other. They can be intrigued but also afraid of the depths the know the other person has. Things may go unexpressed between two people especially if Mercury is in hard aspect here. It can also cause misunderstandings. Someone’s Mars in your twelfth house will cause you to sense an animalistic sexual feeling coming from them or you may feel these feelings towards them but don’t know why. At its worst, you may feel like there is something aggressive about the other, but you really can’t place it. It may be an unexplainable, aggravating, and uneasy feeling. Someone’s moon here may feel like the other person has a deep understanding of you on an unconscious level giving. It may make you feel eerie or give you inner peace. 12th house also rules the spirit world so there can be an other-worldly feeling or telepathic insights between people with synastry in this house. Neptune can touching the Sun or the Moon can also indicate parents who might have substance abuse issues or alcoholic tendencies.
Aries Mars’
….Need to be careful not to expend so much of their energy during sex. They are prone to going balls to the wall *no pun intended* that it may be over rapidly. You all need to either find someone who is okay with multiple rounds of quickies, or they need to do solar plexus chakra work. They can learn to control their urge to get to their climax at NOS-aided speed. If they don’t get things under control and reel it back a bit, they run the risk of leaving their partner unsatisfied.
People with Venus in Aquarius
…Or Aquarius touching the Moon or Venus in hard aspect or Saturn/Uranus touching Mars or Moon in hard aspect, do not like to be touched. They like their bubble. They dislike PDA and can be awkward when it comes to physical affection. The ones who give the “weird hugs”. They like distance between them and others. However, these people can also be very good dancers since Venus is about Art and Mars is about action, and Uranus is all about sudden “breaks”. Dancers with this placement can bend and break their bodies however they see fit. Mars in Virgo can also be excellent dancers, especially in regimented forms of dancing like Ballet, or rhythmic gymnastics.
Libra placements and Taurean placements
….Are by far the most affectionate in terms of physical touch. Especially if in the 4th, 5th, or 7th. They are ruled by Venus and the 2nd house which rules the material. Things that are very much about the senses. They can have oral fixations. These people love having sex. Natives with Mars in Taurus [particularly men] will enjoy “eating” their partner out. Perfumes that smell nice, music, food, anything that sets an ambiance. They love massages. They like holding hands and making out. This will be especially true if any of these placements.planets fall into the 5th, 7th house, 4th house, 8th or 11th house in harmonious aspect.
Asteroid Sado
…is all about abuse and pain, if touching Saturn it can make one prone to cruelty or people can show this to them. They can also be very good at torture tactics but regimented since Saturn is about discipline. Pretty sure the folks running Guantanamo have this placement somewhere in their chart.
Saturn conjunct Algol
…Can make someone have a very high pain tolerance because Algol is also about pain and Saturn is about time.
Saturn opposing the moon
…Can make people struggle with fear of intimacy. They can completely avoid it. The good thing is when in opposition there is still the ability to balance. An opposition is just an imbalance, there needs to be equal reciprocal to keep things level. Natives with this placement need to remember it is okay to be vulnerable. They may do well having friends who are older. They need to overcome their fear of getting close to people. Not everyone will waste your time.
When someone's Priapus
…. is touching one of your personal planets or vice versa there will be an uncontrollable desire to merge with them. If it’s mercury you want to delve into their minds. If it’s Mars you want to fuck them constantly. If it’s Venus, you’re dying for them to love you. If it’s Jupiter, this is intense and buckle up. The urge to mate with them will be exacerbated. Also, watch out if this guy falls into the 8th house or when he conjuncts Black Moon Lilith.
Believe it or not, Capricorn placements
…Are the best in regard to knowing how the body operates.
Especially if it’s forming a harmonious aspect to a sexual planet or to Pluto/1st or the 8th house. Capricorn is about time and wealth. It is also an earth sign so they are very in touch with the physical. When this placement is messing with Mars or say, one’s Eros or Adonis, or whether these asteroids are in Capricorn or Lilith in Capricorn, they can be cold publically but a machine in the bedroom. They will typically like things on the rougher and more indulgent side of sex. They take their time and are extremely penetrative when figuring things out *no pun intended*. They will decipher every movement, micro-movement, action vs reaction, and store it in the earthy archives of their minds for later. They’ll never forget. Mars in Capricorn can also be seen in the charts of many personal trainers.
Capricorn placements with Pluto in the mix
…Often become Doctors; specifically surgeons or morticians. Especially if Saturn rules 8th house, Midheaven in Scorpio, or Mars in Capricorn placement in either of these houses. Capricorn Venus’ can often Marry for money or have marriages based on political ambition. Arranged marriages can be seen here or a general formality in regard to love. Again, we’re dealing with the father of discipline energy so Capricorn Venus can be reticent to show love. They kiss you while you sleep, but show toughness while awake.
Capricorns also have a very strong psychic ability.
…Hear me out. Since Saturn is the Seagoat, he straddles both earth AND water. The Physical and the Spiritual. People with strong Saturn placements can often experience dreams that have strong karmic attachments to them. Past Life regression etc. Dreams of catastrophic events or dreams of court case outcomes. Especially if Saturn is in or ruling 12th house or the 8th house.
Taurus Venus
…Will purposefully and actively pursue their partner when they really want them. So if a Taurus Venus person isn’t giving you the time and attention you want, they may not be fully committed or interested in/to you. However, if this same Venus is opposing or squaring the native’s Pluto it can make them shy and secretly obsessed but withdrawn in demonstrating it. These are the people who can be in love secretly but never say a word. The ones who can orchestrate secret affairs for years and no one would be the wiser. Remember, 8th house is what’s hidden and forbidden and venus is about love.
Mars square Venus
….When flirting will poke fun at the object of their desire. They will see if the person can keep up with their banter. They’ll throw digs to see if the other can give it as good as they get it. They may also create drama for attention. Love just doesn’t feel right without passion and fire. They can also attract people who make scenes or bring drama into their lives.
An Unaspected Sun
…Can make one enigmatic or someone with aspects of themselves that will be hard to figure out. They may even be hard to remember. There will be something Neptunian about them. They sort of fade or blend into the background.
Lilith in the 3rd house
…May make a native addicted to writing. Particularly unafraid of writing about darker things. Taboo subjects. Even erotica. Lilith in the 6th house and the 2nd is a placement for many sex workers.
Mars in the 4th house can indicate military lineage or “army brats.” While a Sun inconjunct or square to Uranus can indicate a father who is brilliant/a genius or a father who “split” early in a native’s life.
Gemini’s
…Actually like to show off more than Leo’s. But Leo’s show off less than Cancers. Cancers cry less than Pisceans but Pisceans can actually be some of the harshest people when angered. It is because they are ruled by Neptune, a water planet. In mythology, he is also known as the “Earth-Shaker”. Seas get violent too, people.
Contrary to popular belief, Virgo’s can actually be very messy.
Yes, messy, not dirty, there is a difference. As stereotypical as this sounds, they prefer clean sex and are the types to do it in the shower. As for the “messiness”, They of course will know where everything is but their mercurial energy can make them throw things here and there as they run around trying to get 10 things done before breakfast.
Mars and Juno
In synastry can indicate a couple/marriage that will be very active physically.
Mercury in aspect to Aquarius
…Or an Aquarius stellium can make people out of the box thinkers. The people will be inventors. The ones who create things you didn’t even know you needed. Things like the pop socket grip that goes on the back of your phone or 0 calorie carbonated water. Uranian placements can also be seen in people who are Asexual or conversely pansexual.
Contrary to popular belief, Mars in Scorpio
…Gets very attached actually when they have sex. That is because they feel sex is more than just a physical act but a merging of souls. This is Pluto we’re dealing with, remember. Merging is what he is about. So they prefer to not just have sex with anyone and can actually be quite picky about their sexual partners. Can I just say Bones does not get nearly enough credit for how well he reads people?? Like, we all forget that he is not only a doctor, he's a psychiatrist as well. And not only is he insanely good at reading Jim, we also see him read and understand Spock (who is his opposite and with whom he frequently disagrees) and push him when it's necessary. It's Bones' words that make some of the most powerful exchanges out of all the 79 original episodes. Here is proof (and there's a lot of it):
Balance of Terror
Jim's doubting himself and is dealing with a lot of stress because of all his responsibilities and the burden of making decisions, and asks Bones, "What if I'm wrong?" This is an incredibly vulnerable moment for Jim, who always has to be strong, and when Bones starts to answer, Jim gets up and says "I wasn't really expecting an answer."
Bones immediately puts his hand on his shoulder, stops him, and says, "Well, I've got one." Completely unexpected by Jim. Bones starts off by saying "This isn't something I'd usually tell a customer," then gives the speech we all probably know, about how there are millions of possible earth-like planets, "but in all of that, and possibly more, only one of each of us. Don't destroy the one named Kirk."
Let's break down why this is so good. First, Bones lets Jim know that he sees how vulnerable Jim is being and that he's talking to Jim as a friend. He recognizes that Jim's identity is fundamentally tied to his role as a captain, and also acknowledges how deep Jim's doubts are going, and at the same time reminds Jim that he is the one in control of himself (something very grounding for Jim) and he is not alone (because Bones is supporting him). Most of all, he doesn't dwell on the vulnerability Jim's expressing, but encourages him to take action, which is Jim's natural bent. He perfectly adapts to how Jim functions and knows what to say to get him back into a place where he can do what he does best: lead.
The Ultimate Computer
Jim has been been feeling insecure and threatened this entire episode, because a computer may take away his role as captain. Twice he seeks out Bones for comfort. First, he tells him that he has concerns about the computer, but worries about his motives. "You have my psychological profiles; am I afraid? Of losing my job? ...Daystrom's right, I could do a lot of other things. Am I afraid of losing the power, the prestige? Am I that petty?"
Bones replies, "Jim, if you're self-aware enough to ask that question, you don't need me to answer it for you. Why don't you ask James T. Kirk? He's a pretty honest guy."
Breakdown: Bones responds beautifully by once again reminding Jim that he knows himself and is in control. That sense of confidence is all Jim is after. He also establishes earlier in the conversation that what Jim is feeling is not unusual and can be understood. Brilliant.
The second time Jim reaches out to Bones (this episode is my favorite for a reason), he's doubting his role even more intensely, having just been blatantly insulted and called useless (affirming his insecurities). He left the bridge, silently, by himself, and even Spock didn't follow him out. Bones knew he needed help and went to him, with some drinks (Jim initially responds that he's not interested in eating--coping by losing interest in food) and a joke and light-hearted attitude, so that Jim can feel comfortable expressing himself. Jim puts on an air of not caring (shutting himself off from his emotions) and says he's never felt so useless, and makes a cynical joke as a toast, "To Captain Dunsel" (the insult from earlier, meaning "unnecessary").
Bones stops him, looks him in the eye, and says "To James Kirk, Captain of the Enterprise." Jim says softly, "Thank you, Doctor," and when he downs his glass, Bones follows suit.
There's just so much good about this. Bones seeks him out even when he was trying to isolate himself because he knew Jim tends to distract himself and unhealthily repress things. And he doesn't let Jim get away with being blasé about how he's been hurt, but he doesn't force him to be honest either; instead, he lets Jim know he sees how he's feeling and how deeply he's hurt, and also reaffirms that Bones still cares about, respects, and most of all, believes in him. When Jim starts talking after the drink, Bones just listens and lets him talk, and when Jim responds to the call to the bridge, he follows him out. Back in action, and another job well done.
The Trouble With Tribbles
Just a brief point with this: Spock is just being silent here, which is typical for him. But Bones asks him "What's the matter, Spock?" seemingly out of the blue. Spock responds with, "There's something disquieting about these creatures," which means that he was feeling off, and Bones picked up on it. Bones then makes a joke ("Don't tell me you've got a feeling!") which lets Spock know that Bones sees what he's saying but isn't treating it as unusual (since the joking between them is their normal behavior). And when Spock continues talking, he hears him out (although it eventually degenerates into their typical spat).
All Our Yesterdays
Spock has begun degenerating into a pre-reformed-Vulcan version of himself. He gives up on trying to get back to their proper time and becomes irritable. Bones notices that something's wrong almost immediately.
He starts by asking about Jim (because he knows how deeply Spock cares for him), and Spock responds apathetically. This clearly shocks Bones, who then says "I don't believe it, Spock. It's just not like you to give up trying." When Spock doesn't acknowledge something's off, Bones presses him: "I understand. I never thought I'd see it, but I understand. You want to stay here. In fact, you're highly motivated to stay in this forsaken waste!" Spock deflects again, and Bones keeps pressing, which leads to Spock grabbing him by the neck and saying angrily, "I don't like that. I don't think I ever did, and now I'm sure." Bones simply looks him in the eye and asks calmly, "What's happening to you, Spock?"
Instead of hassling Spock about why he isn't doing more, he focuses on what's wrong with Spock himself, and he clearly has a deep understanding of who Spock really is. He starts by trying to get a feel for Spock's emotional state by going to ground 0: Jim. And he doesn't back down when Spock tries to blow him off.
Seeing that he's getting nowhere, Bones bides his time, and then starts something with Zarabeth, knowing Spock will jump to her defense.
When Spock pins him against the wall, Bones calmly says, "Are you trying to kill me, Spock? Is that what you really want? Think! What are you feeling? Rage, jealousy--have you ever had those feelings before?" Spock is clearly affected by this, and says it's impossible, since he's a Vulcan. Bones sees his opening, saying "The Vulcan you knew won't exist for another 5000 years! Think, man! What's happening on your planet right now, at this very moment?" Spock answers with the facts, and Bones tells him flat-out what's going on: he's reverting. Spock falls quiet, and says, "I've lost myself. I do not know who I am."
Bones is specifically structuring his responses (both here and earlier) to cause Spock to evaluate himself--to think, which has always has grounded Spock. Bones indirectly (so that Spock doesn't feel as threatened by the accusation) indicates that Spock's being too emotional. He wants Spock to see for himself that something's wrong, so Bones asks questions or makes open-ended statements so that Spock will have to respond. He also provides enough evidence (pointing out the emotions Spock is feeling) to prove he has a point and guide Spock towards a conclusion. He's talking Spock through it, using reason and logic, which Spock has always responded to. Bones' questions are also phrased so that the answers are objective facts--he's bringing Spock back to the verifiable, Spock's comfort zone. Finally, he does the analysis for Spock, telling him what's undeniably happening, but leaves the course of action open to Spock, so that he can regain control of himself by deciding how to proceed. Bones smoothly and logically guided Spock to the delicate realization he needed to have.
Of Bread and Circuses
Then of course we have this iconic exchange. Jim's been separated from the both of them and they are all in danger. Spock is pulling at the bars although he knows it will be futile.
Bones calls him out on this, and then thanks him for saving his life. When Spock brushes him off and keeps his walls up, Bones says, "I know why you're not afraid to die, Spock. You're more afraid of living. Every day you stay alive is just one more day you might slip--and let your human half peek out." Spock is silent and looks away, and Bones continues, now smiling slightly: "That's it, isn't it? Insecurity. Why, you wouldn't know what to do with a genuine, warm, decent feeling." His face makes it clear he's gently baiting Spock, who then looks back at Bones and says, "Really, Doctor?" Bones replies softly, "I know. I'm worried about Jim, too."
First thing: Spock's theme starts playing when Bones corners him. So we're supposed to get that Bones is really laying him bare. But starting from the beginning of the scene, Bones recognizes Spock's anxiety through his illogical behavior. He takes the time to thank Spock for saving his life, in an effort to remind Spock that he is competent and in control--basically, trying to calm Spock down and reassure him. When Spock refuses to deal with his emotions productively, Bones is having none of it, and shows Spock just how much he knows. He can tell Spock isn't worried for himself ("you're not afraid to die") but also is well aware of Spock's actual fears (which are coloring his current behavior towards Bones). Basically, Bones is saying, "this facade of yours can't keep me out. You're understood. You're not alone." Saying it in those terms, though, would just make Spock feel weak for unsuccessfully trying to mask his behavior, so Bones frames it as a gentle challenge. When Spock looks away, he can tell he's hit the nail on the head, and he smiles because he's getting through to him. His face as he says "you wouldn't know what to do with a genuine, warm, decent feeling" telegraphs to the audience that he's not actually serious, but is looking for a response. And he gets it--Spock acknowledges, as Bones had intended, that he is currently dealing with emotions. And that's where Bones wanted to get him, because now that he's admitted it, he can move forward; but Bones doesn't want this admission to go unrewarded, and definitely doesn't want Spock to go on believing that Bones meant what he'd said about not knowing what to do with feelings, so he again tells Spock that he understands what's really going on, but without challenge this time. He just accepts it and reassures Spock that he's not alone: "I know. I'm worried about Jim too." They're in it together, and now that Spock is a little more vulnerable, he's able to see that Bones is right beside him.
So that was a lot, but there is definitely even more. Basically, give Bones the appreciation he deserves, because his emotional intuition is off the charts. (After all, as he is so fond of reminding us, he is a doctor!)

Green With Envy
It’s past 2am and my eyes hurt so it’s unedited for now sorry y’all😅
Original Request (from Wattpad account): What makes the boys jealous, if possible?
Guest stars: Sasori and Sai!
Masterlist
Naruto~
Oh, this boy… he’s too oblivious sometimes he doesn’t even know to be jealous. He was at a hot spring with friends once and someone says, “(Y/N) is so hot…” Naruto just grinned and said, “Yeah, she really is.”
But that doesn’t mean he won’t protect your honor. If someone says something a little too… risque like ‘Yeah, I’d tap that’ for example, get ready for more Narutos than you can count all charging you with a Rasengan.
He will not stand other guys cozying up to you. He’s the one who should be blessed with your hugs and cuddles. Won’t hesitate to cause a scene and yell to the entire world that he loves you and won’t let any other guy make a pass at you.
“Naruto, you didn’t need to go that far! You blasted him through three walls!” He’s endearing, really.
Sasuke~
Is jealousy an Uchiha thing or just a Sasuke thing? One of life’s many mysteries. Anywho, unlike Naruto, the second your name is brought up in conversation, he goes on guard and he’s listening closely.
If anything is said that he deems inappropriate, whether it be disparaging or otherwise, Sasuke had better be held back or he just might punch you into next week.
“Sasuke, calm down! He just said I had good taste in clothes!”
Even though he can easily get jealous, he knows the importance of freedom and he trusts you. He won’t come guns blazing (or sword slashing rather) and drag you away unless you need it of course.
The last thing he wants is for you to feel like you’re dating your dad or something. He’s very blunt and if he becomes uneasy with the way another male is talking to you, he’ll let said male know. Maybe after scowling with his Sharingan activated, however.
Neji~
Neji doesn’t really get jealous per se, more like offended on your behalf. Because of his upbringing, which taught him manners and the utmost respect, he really can’t understand talking about girls like they’re objects? Will never refer to a woman as ‘hot’ or anything like that.
If someone even dares speak of you like that, (even if you’re not necessarily together yet) he will fight them, and they will experience the 64 palms technique.
He especially hates people in your personal space. He really does trust you, just not others. Is not afraid to embarrass someone on your behalf. Half the time his glare is enough to scare them off, but some people are just clueless. (They wake up in the hospital)
“Neji! You can’t just throw me over your shoulder and leave! And that guy looked like he had seen a ghost?!” Needless to say, even cool, calm, and collected Neji has his limits.
Shikamaru~
Shika is too laid back to get jealous over little things. Somewhat like Neji, he doesn’t get jealous. He might feel threatened on your behalf, but never jealous. He can trust you with his life why shouldn’t he trust you with your relationship?
However, if someone is clearly harassing you or just generally making you uncomfortable, he will not hesitate to step in and make them leave. He won’t resort to physical violence (too much work), but he will intimidate them or put his genius to use and play some kind of trick on them.
He honestly has endless patience and at the same time no patience? Patience with you if you’re having a pleasant conversation with someone, but will go from 0-100 (or 50, really, anything more is a lot of effort) real quick.
“Shika, that guy thought he was really paralyzed, thanks to your shadow possession!” Being jealous is a waste of time, but clever revenge is always a treat for Shika.
Kiba~
So. Jealous. So. Easily. Kiba is naturally animalistic (in the best way) and just like a dog, can be very possessive. If explicitly asked, he will try to tone down his jealous fits, but will still be protective. If he does have free reign, however, oh boy…
No chill at all, whatsoever. Whether it’s absolutely destroying the object of his rage or just simply making out with you right there. No matter how annoyed he may get, he respects you with every fiber of his being and would never tell you to change or try to control you. He wouldn’t ever embarrass you (unless Kiba and Akamaru pummeling a room full of guys is embarrassing).
Just let him FIND OUT someone is making you feel the slightest bit of unease. One second, they’re chatting you up and then BAM! There’s a flash of white and a huge dog ready to maul them.
“Kiba, what do you mean they all looked at me for too long?! We walked in the door, of course, they turned to look!”
Gaara~
Gaara is a bit of a conundrum, but in a way that makes sense? Like, he doesn’t feel the need to get jealous of guys because when you leave, he’s going to be kissing you goodnight, and he’s the one who gets to spoil you.
However, he will get jealous of little things. Oh, you’ve spent a good amount of time playing with an animal/pet? Be prepared to walk in on Gaara giving them a stern lecture on stealing you from them. Gaara knows he has any potential suitors beat, but tiny adorable animals and children? In his mind, he can never be too cautious.
He gets a little pouty but that can easily be cured with cuddles, sometimes with that evil little pet that stole your affections from him. He can never stay jealous for long, he views it as an unproductive waste of time. He could be actively trying to get your attention, but instead, he’s going to be sulking in a corner? Yeah, no.
“Gaara! Stop scolding my cat, that’s not doing anything!”
Sai~
On the rare occasion that this cinnamon roll gets jealous, he’s confused and shocked. Like just imagine the surprised Pikachu face and that’s him. He knows what jealousy is, he can identify it just fine, but he doesn’t know why he’s jealous.
You aren’t doing anything, all you did was laugh at someone else’s jokes, but still… do you find them funnier than him? Are you going to leave him because he’s not that funny?! Cue the slow onset into insanity… Poor Sai is losing his mind to paranoia and made-up scenarios.
Will most certainly drag you away (gently) from whoever is taking your attention and leave. He doesn’t even bother with a fake smile, they don’t deserve it. He’ll explain to you calmly even though he’s panicking on the inside. Once he is back to normal he’ll show you his nearest artwork.
“What the-! Sai, you can’t just draw caricatures on people’s car!” You don’t even want to know how he figures out which car is theirs...
Kakashi~
Too cocky to be jealous. He has the right to be though because one glance at him without his face mask can cause instant pregnancy. Anywho, he knows you love him and some guy trying to hit on you like some high school douche isn’t going to change that.
He does like to intervene, however, just to flex like ‘yeah, I’m the boyfriend, now get lost’.
He’s not big on PDA, so he won’t start kissing you to ward off strangers, but he will wrap on arm around you or hold your hand and ask who your ‘friend’ is.
When there’s that one stubborn person who won’t take a hint, Kakashi doesn’t mind rocking someone’s world or getting kicked out, he needed to perfect that one offense technique anyways. He’s pretty laid back though, so it has to be somewhat drastic for this though, plus he knows you can handle yourself.
“A thousand years of death?! Isn’t it weird to be poking old men in the butt?!
~Akatsuki~
Pein~
Pfft. Who does he have to be jealous of? He’s a god among mortals, after all. To him, you’re a goddess and as such you belong with someone like him, not the peasants around you.
But on the offhand chance that someone doesn’t heed his godly status, he will not hesitate to pull you into his side and yell ‘Almighty Push’ and totally obliterate that loser. (A/N: Holy crap I think that needs to be a one-shot cuz, wow, Pein being all protective is making me swoon?)
If it’s not a big deal, he’ll easily let you take care of it. If you’re strong enough to catch Pein’s attention, you’re more than strong enough to deal with some lowlife. That doesn’t mean, however, that they won’t feel his wrath too.
If you ever want to witness a true royal rumble, dare someone to mess with Pein’s S/O. It’d be an epic tag team match (slaughter, really) for the ages. One would d be surprised how quick he can lose his cool when it comes to you.
“Pein, that’s the fifth time this month! Kakuzu is going to murder me if I ask for money to fix this wall!”
Deidara~
Need I even say it? Jealous boy all the way. You’re his favorite masterpiece so why should let an uncultured swine who doesn’t even understand your worth touch you? Rhetorical question, he wouldn’t.
He is not above fighting or placing a bomb on someone who gives you one too many glances. He’d make sure they knew it wasn’t art, they weren’t good enough for that, before blowing the offender up.
No one and he means no one gets to talk bad about his S/O. If someone insults you in his presence they might as well as swallowed one of his explosives and trusted him not to blow them up.
Will one 100% hide you from view if you look too appealing. He thinks you look ravishing, but he’s the only one who should be able to think that, in his opinion. Don’t worry, no one’s ever gotten close enough to harass you with Dei around. His one-eyed scowl is a great deterrent.
“Deidara! You blew up my favorite restaurant! He didn’t even say anything to me!”
Sasori~
Would rather die before admitting he was jealous. As adamant about not being jealous as he is about art being eternal. That’s not to say that he won’t take action though. He will use chakra strings to make the perpetrator walk away, meanwhile making them bump into literally everything in the general vicinity.
The two of you don’t leave the base all that often so it’s unusual to see an envious Sasori action, but it’s a real treat when it happens. After he deals with whatever idiot crossed him, he’ll be a bit more affectionate that day/night.
Not huge things, but instead of working on puppets all night, he’d be more apt to hold you that night. Average people hitting on you make him insecure because he realizes he’s not that great at normal relationships but he still doesn’t want to lose you. That feeds into his jealousy and he figures the only way to get rid of it is to make sure those other guys can’t offer anything he doesn’t have.
“Sasori! If you wanted a hug, you could’ve said that instead of treating that guy like a ball inside of a pinball machine!”

Rom / 2 & 4 :)
(Asks from this ( x ) meme)
2) What animal they remind me of
You will never believe what I will say.... xD Okay okay, her commitment Kin status and lore aside, her human self the way I made her reminds me of a hamster! Because she is tiny, has weak eyesight but can hear well, like to run around, and is very adaptive - similar to a rat but 'cute'. Mice + hamsters are rodents that say 'hiiiii' but rats are rodents that say 'bruh'. x) But also because hamsters are often mistaken for 'lazy and dumb' creatures by people who don't know better when in fact they are as intelligent as average rodents, and they are simply nocturnal so they sleep most of the daytime! :pensive:
As for overall vibe, she also reminds me of a tardigrade even more than of 'caterpillar' or something! They survive anything (even outer space!) and I think Rom is nearly immortal (as in, we kick her from the Lake rather than actually killing). Also just look at them, they are chonky with many legs. xD
4) Physical headcanons (sleeping habits, favourite food, all that)
One of her most frequently seen habits is holding her hands together, mostly around the chest level, sometimes near her face - just a habit.
She has large and rare freckles:
Fun fact - a couple of times I broke the pattern with them on accident, and other couple of times I just forgot them completely ;-; I am just clumsy as an artist but I try to improve that. Someday I will learn.... The proper pattern I planned is - three on her right cheek, two under her right eye and five on the left side of her face.
A lot of the time her lips are open just enough to show her front teeth, which is just her Default Settings. She only closes them when either she is tense or when someone tells her to do so.
You would expect her to be nice to all living creatures, but it is not always the case. If she finds a bug or a cockroach stuck in her meal, she will just eat it! I mean, they put that on themselves, right...?
Her senses work in extremely mysterious ways and it was the case even before anything having to do with Byrgenwerth! For example, she can hear sounds so far away or so quiet no other person would even notice them, or her intuition would urge her to check a seemingly random place and find an interesting object, or a creature! Sometimes she can also find lost objects by 'smelling' them (even if they have no smell). It is almost as if her fate was grimly foreshadowed - however it just happens with some people in reality too... I'd say the reason is, human senses being way more keen than we believe and humans not realising like 90% of what they're perceiving and catching on.
She is far-sighted, her glasses help with it.
I said that she has rather keen senses, right? Well, there is an exception for very harsh stimuls - like thunder or explosions. She'd need several seconds to actually react at something very sudden. The rule with her basically is, the more obvious something is - the slower she is to react to it. Most of it comes because she is too submerged in thoughts and her inner world.
Rom has trouble sleeping during the night, most of it is just her laying with eyes closed, but the daytime destroys her. She developed a habit of catching up with classes she might have nearly napped through during the night in the library, with a few other students with similar problem.
She is the second shortest student in the class (160 cm, or 5'3'')! The first shortest is my Laurence, sorry fdshdshd He is 155 cm, or 5'1'' :')
She appears like a person in 0 physical shape but honestly, the thing draining her energy or preventing her from doing many physical tasks is her HUGE brain sdfhsdh And mental state. If it is not lack of night sleep, it is the raw amount of her thoughts being so heavy she bends under them xD When you manage to make her feel more positive and involved in the world around her, she gets very fast, light and agile! Just needs right motivation.
Her hair is always extremely soft and nice to the touch, as if it is stuck in permanent 'just after washing and hair conditioner' state. It also can't grow past the length I draw her with, it happens with some people that at some point hair just stops (it is just genetics in her case).
#ask replies#ask meme#bloodborne#rom the vacuous spider#bloodborne headcanons#fandomry rambles#thank you so much for asking about her though!#this is my most written character! well one of them#some experiences are personal though#also i just love talking about characters that leave a lot to imagination#jeez..... rom versions are just ocs with a prompt lol#yet her vibe feels so apparent#also none of the shit about her i said is ironic she is very thoughtful just not organised#when you think about everything there is no way to choose WHAT to talk about lol#yurie loves falling asleep to her rambles tho (omg they were roommates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Bad Batch Analysis prt2
Welcome back everyone to part 2 to my Bad Batch analysis trailers. The trailer just happened to be posted around midnight and my wifi went out in the morning so I couldn’t really do much until now. Since we got another AMAZING trailer for the Bad Batch series I believe it’s time to do another analysis. If you haven’t read my first analysis from the first trailer you can read it here
Without further ado let's get started.
The first scene we get from the trailer is a shot after that one shot we got from the first trailer. This could probably be around the time they landed on Kamino because if you look in the top right corner there is the Havoc Marauder.
Training Sequence
Next we see one of the many training grounds on Kamino. It’s strange seeing only one training ground and not multiple. It seems like this specific training ground might be underwater, as there is this long pole in the center with surrounding lights around it. Now that might be a reach, but honestly where could you see that training ground on the round houses above the ocean.
Along with that in the Legends there was a Kaminoan Jedi who lived under the sea to try to prevent the vision she had. (the vision was the clone army betraying the Jedi) So it could be possible when the Kamioan’s were building the floating city they builded the bottom levels to be used as training grounds or something.
In this scene we can see that Echo is using a vibroblade. Now is this Echo’s own vibroblade or does this belong to Hunter and Echo just picked it up to destroy one of the droids?
I feel like this shot can tell us a lot about the bad batch and how they interact with each other. Hunter and Crosshair are looking at the camera to which I can probably assume where Tarkin speaks to them. Echo lightly turns towards the direction of Tech, Hunter, and Crosshair. Tarkin probably said something that would make Echo turn to look at the three of them.
Also Tech although very subtle looks at the ground. Now this could be two things, if Tarkin said something then it might be tech looking at the ground like a Child does when their parents scolds them. Or it might be Tech is exhausted and is looking at the destroyed droids all around him.
Hunter is seen talking to someone (probably Omega) telling them that their squad (aka the Bad Batch) is nothing but trouble. We can see Crosshair and Tech walk to a door which I can assume to be their barracks for the time being (before they escape).
I really like this scene from Crosshair. This seemed to show how well the Bad Batch worked together. Hunter throws his knife in the air and Crosshair goes and shoots it in place. Which might make it even more sad if Crosshair betrays the Bad Batch. Imagine this, The bad batch is in this certain situation where a duo between Crosshair and Hunter would work. Hunter turns to where Crosshair would normally be.
“Cross lets-”
All he sees no one, and the feeling of betrayal and pain seeps through him.
“Right…”
Hunter Civilian Clothing
So we see Hunter in Civilian clothes which is like. UGH please let me hold your hand Hunter. The first time we see them is at 0:31 where Hunter steals a speeder, probably to catch up to Fennec as we can see in 1:39 who has a kid.
We get a better look at Hunter’s Civilian clothes, it really reminds me of Cut lawquane’s outfit from The Clone Wars Season 2 “The Deserters”. Maybe we might see Cut lawquane in the Bad Batch, if so I think that would be really great to see. Cut’s children with Omega might be the cutest thing we might get from Bad Batch, that’s if it happens.
Now in this scene we see Tech piloting the ship, but if you look at the corner there is Hunter on a control panel with bandages wrapped around him. So this might be either Hunter getting injured from a mission (maybe from Fennec Shand??)
This kid (not Omega) is dangling onto a cylindrical object. The Following scene with Hunter and the kid following a speeder that belongs to Fennec Shand.
The Final Part of the Clone Wars
At 0:37 we see the Batchers coming down from what seems to be like a hill destroying B1 battle droids. While the next shot is Tech and Echo shooting down said droids.
So in my previous analysis I mentioned how for one the explosions I was wondering if it was the Batchers or the Empire. Now with this new Trailer it seems to be leaning more towards the Batchers doing this.
We see Hunter putting away his knife with Wrecker carrying what seems like to be a destroyed droid.
Now I mentioned in my previous analysis that the snowy planet might be a Crosshair arc. But now with these new scenes with the snowy planet it might be a set up to Crosshair being something that most Bad Batch Stans don’t want.
Crosshair as the traitor
So I know I talked about this in my last trailer analysis and I said this was very unlikely. But uhhhh now with this trailer I'm 70% sure Crosshair will betray the Bad Batch. Now the reason why I said Crosshair wouldn’t betray the Bad Batch was because the Purge trooper and Crosshair just didn’t have things that lined up. But now with this new trailer I am pretty worried for our boy Crosshair.
This is the ONLY scene we get of Omega and Crosshair together. Any other scenes with Omega and the Bad Batch Crosshair is nowhere in sight.
I literally called this when I wrote about my predictions about the Bad Batch series. Where I wrote two paths. One where Crosshair was not the traitor and stays with the bad batch and one if Crosshair was the traitor (I censor the right since it had my actual name since I did the bad batch analysis during school)
And 1:19 seems to likely prove my Crosshair is the traitor snippet I did. All the batchers + omega are running through what seems to be like the late night halls of Kamino. Who knew Echo would be following his brother’s footsteps.
Again Crosshair isn’t here
… or maybe he might be hiding him behind Hunter to give us anxiety about what happened to Crosshair. But if Crosshair is gone then they need a new sniper to fill in his role...
Omega
We are first introduced to a new character who is called “omega”. Now who is Omega? Well we don’t know this is the first we EVER got to see them anywhere. Now when I first saw Omega I immediately thought of Satine’s Mandalore. We are not talking about the houses and clans (like house Wren). We’re talking about Satine’s Mandalorians (the pacifist) in which when we see her people in the clone wars they are normally pale with light colored eyes. Omega almost fits that but without the bright blue eyes. Another thing is that Omega kinda sounds like they have a Satine Mandalorian accent. As I was listening to Omega speak I was comparing it to Korkie and his friends and Omega lowkey sounds like Korkie’s friends but that’s probably a really big reach.
This is where I think if Crosshair betrays the Bad Batch this is where Omega would come in and take Crosshair’s role as sniper. We don’t know how good Omega is but with Hunter’s heightened sense his sight might be just as good to teach Omega to work with a bow and arrow
The Explosion
Now we have an explanation for the explosion we saw in the last trailer. It was definitely the bad batch and now we know it was part of the thrusters from a broken Venator Star Destroyer. Since now we got more context to that explosion, I believe that this will be on Bracca where maybe MAYBE we might see a young ginger Cal Kestis.
Rex
*breaths in*
REX I MISSED YOU SO MUCH
I’m so happy Rex and Echo are going to a reunion. I really hope Rex and Echo have a moment where Rex completely vents to Echo about everything that happened. Like Umbara, how much Five’s death took a toll on him, and when he left Jesse and his brothers during order 66. It would be really interesting to see if Rex has some sort of survivor's guilt. I know we see a little bit in Season 7 when he’s talking to Cody about the Domino squad but after order 66 I think it would be nice to dwell onto a little more.
Another thing I really hope we get to see how Rex meets up with Wolffe and Gregor.
AT-ET Walker
We get a couple of scenes here of the AT-ET but here look at this. The republic symbol and the red paint is completely removed, it’s completely bare (which is so boring). Another thing is that the AT-ET are completely cutting across a group of people, these could be protestors of something that we yet not know of.
It seems like Hunter and Tech snuck into and AT-ET, now the next scene we get is an AT-ET blowing up another AT-ET. There are two possibilities on who shot at the AT-ET, one could be the Bad Batch themselves shooting at the other AT-ET or two it could be the Empire shooting at the Bad Batch stolen AT-ET
Saw Gerra
It’s really nice to see Saw Gerra, we have seen him in 5 star wars projects (Clone wars, Rogue one, Rebels, Jedi Fallen Order, and now Bad Batch). Since this is the beginning of the Empire we get that small time between Clone wars and Jedi: Fallen Order to see what Saw was up to.
Fennec Shand
My wifey, I love her so much. But I did get something wrong and right with Fennec Shand in my last analysis.
First of all the explosion we see with Fennec Shand is NOT connected to the factory arc but instead connected to Hunter saving the kid.
But the thing I did get right was that one scene where Fennec was holding a gun out. That fog is from a fight and Fennec and her opponent are at a standstill.
One thing new about Fennec is that she had a Kid dangling off her speeder. First of all that’s not safe at all and 2 why does Fennec have a Kid with her and then why does Hunter have the child in the next scene?
Small theory but this kid might be just like Omega that escaped. Fennec is sent out to retrieve the kid but Hunter is like “not on my watch” and takes the kid. Fennec looks shocked that Hunter interferes with her job and looks ANGY.
Or this kid might be just some random kid that Fennec took.
Now a recurring segment called Cool things I saw on the Trailer
Just any scenes from the training scene with Wrecker is just cool and I’m like yes sir go off.
I swear every scene with Wrecker is a joy to see. He just brightens my day all the time
Bad Batch are taking notes from Waxer and Boil about adopting kids during war times.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This segment was short due to most of the trailer being analyzed and not much random spread out scenes.
And that’s that! Thank you all who read this far, I hope I was able to make this clear enough for you all to understand. If there’s anything else you saw in the Trailer that I miss I would love for you to comment about it! I think i’m going to do a countdown for Bad Batch, idk let’s see how I keep this up.
