This post will only be about the studies I've done on the 12th house since that house fascinates me the most out of all the houses in astrology. When it comes to the 12th house, I will also be talking about Neptune and Pisces since they are deeply connected to this house. Even Jupiter is the lord of the 12th house but Neptune qualities are more at prominent with this house.

🩸I have observed that the 12th house is like a bottomless pit. The 12th house is like a dream, no end and no beginning. Since even Jupiter is the ruler of this house, he enlarges the qualities of planets sitting in this house but because of Neptunes severe prominence, though everything is enlarged, everything is also lost in a heavy fog.

🩸The 12th house is a place of complete darkness, like a black hole. Whatever goes into the black hole disappears in thin air, as if it never existed to begin with. Planets that sit here often have their effects go unrecognised by others in natives.

🩸There is a lack of recognition of the subjects related to the planet in the 12th house, in a persons chart, by others.

Examples:

•A native having mercury in the 12th house is smart, even if it's not in a geeky way, but others often assume them to be dumb.

•A native having moon in the 12th house or pisces are quite understanding people who do care about how others feel but this often goes unrecognised and people assume they care less about how others feel. These individuals are actually very emotional in private.

•A native having Venus in the 12th house actually love very very deeply once they begin loving someone and wish for the deepest intimacy possible with them but they are often termed as heartbreakers and flaky people (the zodiac matters too) who ghost their partners. I have this placement too and so many people have called me a heartbreaker even though I have actually never dated due to my fear of betrayal and have never had anyone confess their feelings for me.

Short story: I did fall in love with someone I was friends with for the first time and I loved that person so so much to the point I waited for 3 years to finally ask them to be mine but I was friendzoned, and then given insane amounts of mixed signals and then realised I was being played with cuz that person dated so many girls at one go and all of them were my friends. It took me 3 years to get over that person. I still think of them though but that's far from the point.

•Natives having 12th house and/or Pisces stellium are the ones who feel everything, even that which cannot be seen, felt, or heard. They are the black sheep in the crowd and no matter how much they fit in with a group, they tend to feel left out or less significant.

These natives have their mind locked up with their demons so their minds are tortured and always overthinking the tiniest of things even though nothing bad is happening.

They often contemplate so much and have an infinite amount of questions when it comes to the truth of life, existence and all things universal. 12th house and/or pisces stellium natives are also the people who appear and disappear Outta nowhere...by this I don't mean just physically, I mean emotionally, mentally, spiritually, energetically and so on.

These natives tend to get lost very easily and often wander around, just admiring existence and nature. These natives love love loveee spending time alone with nature. You can't pin them down because they never touch the ground, they're always in the clouds, dreaming and living the pinterest life in their head.

They also quite dramatic in nature, like drama queens or kings, lol. No doubt, these individuals are spiritual and highly imaginative. These natives are also misunderstood and are emotionally and/or mentally isolated from the human race.

They often desire to leave Earth and fly away to space. This is a huge indicator of a starseed. These people are drawn to extra terrestrial beings and the unknown. Their curiosity runs as deep as the bottomless pit.

As a pisces venus (in the 12th house), It is not easy for us all pisces venus natives out there to fall in love and fall out of love with someone...we do find many attractive due to us admiring mostly anything around us but falling in love is a huge deal for us.

We don't just decide to fall in love with someone cuz we find something attractive in them, we value companionship and depth more than anything ( if you have earth sign placements mainly).

So falling in love is extremely soul crushing for us...and falling out of love? Nuh-uh, never happens...we never fall out of love with the person we fall in love with.

No matter how many years pass by, we will maybe accept fate and move forward in life but our heart has a special place for that person we once spoke with....for us, love is more of a painful tragedy that pushes us to sacrifice what we need the most and that weirdly makes us softer as we grow.

When you tell us to move on from someone or convince us that that person we love is not worth it, we wouldn't listen to you cuz when it comes to the matters of the heart, we never listen to anyone but ourselves...our inner voice.

To us love is never wasted because to us love does not rest on reciprocity. We will love with all our heart and no matter how hard our heart breaks, our heart heals back to a stronger one with an unwavering heartbeat that stops at nothing.

The effects of 12th house and the 8th house placements are quite similar but very different at the same time. There is extreme intensity and depth with these houses but the 12th house is much deeper and darker than the 8th house.

having a 12th house moon is such an out of body experience. I always felt something off between my connection to the external world, it's as if i have some sort of glasses that make me look at everything kinda funny and incredulous.

✶ 12th house placements tend to be polarizing individuals. Their energy can be quite intense, especially for those who are unaware of their subconscious mind; they are the ultimate mirrors.

✶ 12th house synastry is extremely difficult to navigate, and I wouldn’t recommend it. I find that it rarely works out unless both individuals are aware of their unconscious patterns and actively working to heal them. If not, you will be merely reflecting each other’s unhealed aspects.

✶ You have to be careful with 4th house synastry; it’s important to consider your home life. If you grew up in a toxic family environment, someone who feels like "home" may actually be reflecting your familial trauma.

✶ Just as people can face karma for wronging you based on your Saturn placement, Saturn can also bring karma if you harm others. For example, as an Aries Saturn, those who hurt me can experience an identity crisis or ego death, which can be an extremely humbling experience for them, given that Aries represents the House of Self/Identity. However, that same energy can come back to me if I harm someone. Since my Saturn is in the 10th house, which is ruled by Capricorn and governed by Saturn, I tend to feel the effects of karma pretty intensely and quickly; the universe has been humbling me since birth lol.

So let me make it clear as a person that is dealing with this synastry , this is exactly what is going on .

The 12th house in synastry is intense. We all know that and we all should take that as a consideration specially if you are the house person , why ? Stick with me for this part ...

The house person has a lot of unhealed parts, and when they meet the planet person, they feel like the planet person has something to do with them. Subconsciously. the house person immediately feels a connection, but consciously, they will simply notice the planet person out of everyone. Whether they want to or not, they will look at them and think, Hmm, I see you. As I said That’s the first impression. But over time, the planet person impacts the house person’s subconscious until their feelings for the planet person become conscious. And here when things start to shake.

The house person will always feel like there’s a hidden enemy aspect to the connection. The planet person, on the other hand, will see the house person as mysterious, in their own world, with a lot of emotional depth and fears. The planet person always feels like the house person is hiding something, and this is exactly why they try to test the waters by doing some small gestures to understand the house person. It could be genuine curiosity, but the house person won’t take it lightly. They will see the planet person's actions as sneaky, manipulative, or as if they are playing mind games. The 12th house is something I love discussing as it is often either overlook, misunderstood, or feared. My title of this probably wont help with the latter, but it promise it’s not that bad. There is a lot of stigma around the 12th house, but through understanding it people can see it’s not that scary and really interesting. 

In synastry, the people who unlock this area of your chart play an interesting role for you. Often I have seen these people become the torment of the 12th house person. In some ways plaguing their mind. You must remember that the 12th house also rules over addiction, and in other words obsession. Typically we would see addiction through substances in the worst culmination of this placement, however I have seen how this can take form in people too.

The 12th house person can find themselves feeling very strongly about the planet person. There is something about them they cant put their finger on, but they can’t get enough. Its some they cant gain control over in ways. The obsessiveness of these feelings can be difficult to handle.

For some people this it too much to deal with and if they fall on an more avoidant side, they will try and repress these feelings. It’s a constant pendulum of becoming unconscious to the feelings and then suddenly being overwhelmed by them. This is especially prevalent with someone who is more spiritually unconscious and hasn’t done work with their subconscious mind and feelings.

Often the planet person sticks with the 12th house person for a long time, even after they are gone. This is where torment can become more apparent, where you wish to forget the person can’t quite disappear, and the feelings car quite dissipate. This also links into the self-undoing qualities that are linked to the 12th house, often craving someone you cannot have or don’t allow yourself to be open to through fear of what they may open you up to or the potential dept of the connection.

As you work with your 12th house more you will find the people that activate it become less uncomfortable for you and it can becomes a placement of some beautiful deep and spiritual connections.

The answer is not a direct and not an easy cake walk type of answer either. One need to be a learned in Vedic astrology and understand astrology very well firstly.

The general perception about 12th house in Vedic astrology is house of loss, hospital, isolation, different geographical location, jail, expenditure etc etc. When we initially study Vedic astrology the it seems that 12th house is fully of negatives and there is no good in it.

But as one prolongs his Vedic astrology study and then he / she starts understand it then they find that all houses in the horoscope is good, bad and neutral. It all depend on the events and the placements of the planets in that horoscope to signify the event.

According to KP vedic astrology a single house cannot give any events in the life of a native unless and until it is combined with other houses.

So, for an event to take place there will be combination of other houses which combinedly will give an event.

So utilization of the 12th house with other houses has to be done to find out if a positive event is seen thru that combination.

Mind u readers that only finding the combination is not enough, one also need to study of its activation period, because one will get the results of the combination ONLY when it gets activated.

Let’s see how with the combination of the 12th house with other houses in a horoscope gives favorable wonderful results for a native.

When a person wants to buy a home then 12th house plays an important role. Here the combination effect of 4, 2,11 and 12th house will produce the result of the purchase of a new home for a native. The 4th house denotes the NEW HOME, 2nd house shows the wealth in term of new house and finance, 11th house shows wish fulfillment and the 12th house shows the LOSS OF MONEY TO BUY THE HOME.

Personal Astrology Observation: Scorpio and/or 12th House Season

Trying to figure out if this is unique to my placements, but Scorpio Season tends to almost literally flip a switch and I feel consumed by my guilt and remorse. Only just realized this season that this has been a trend for at LEAST over 5 years.

It may be because both my 12th and 1st House are here by Placidus, and Jupiter is in the former, lending an expansion of Scorpio 12th house both ups AND downs. But it is over Descendant themes so it may be influenced by the upcoming Taurus eclipse (last of this cycle!). But it can't explain all of it, since this has been a pattern for me for longer. Is this a Scorpio Season thing or a 12th House season thing?

Has anyone else noticed Scorpio Season and being correlated with remorse and guilt? Or, perhaps with whatever your 12th house season is?
