the thing that always surprises me about plants is when I go to re-pot one, or sometimes just loosen the dirt---there's a moment of almost-shock when I pull it up and see the roots, a lattice of white tendrils forking and twining, doubling-back and knit together. Even though I've been staring at these exact plants for years, there's always more to it than I'm expecting, and mixed in with the surprise is a sort of disgust, or maybe disdain. As thought the plant has somehow lied to me by not being beautiful all the way through.

But isn't that the difference, how you know something is truly and properly alive? Icebergs are ice (and microscopic particles, and dirt, and small sleeping microbes, etc.) all the way through, no matter how deep into the ocean they go. But a plant is a completely different thing above the surface and below it. I think there's a metaphor there.

It'd be hilarious if like, he was still a founder but doesn't go out for any meetings or whatever with the public so the new league members in the beginning have no idea about him lmao. They just see this giant cloaked thing crouching next to the computer one morning and understandably freaks out and brings Superman and Wonderwoman running to clear up the misunderstandings lol.

Also thinkin about @phoenixcatch7's idea of head rubbing portraying trust and the idea of Bruce leaning his head against Clark or Diana to get pets for comfort. Just getting real close and practically exposing his neck to show that he trusts the two of them with his life.

Ik genjis fleshy bits that he still has are conventionally attractive for selling and character appeal reasons but I really do appreciate the idea of him having heavy scar tissue around his face. I like art that depicts the pure engineering and scientific marvel that he is. The way his organic blends in with his mechanical as processors and pumps are constantly at work to keep him alive. Love the idea of him customizing as he got use to it, accepted it more. Like to think that his lower jaw doesn't move when he talks, in fact his jaw is completely able to be removed and the only thing needed to communicate is his voice box, customized and attuned to change to the strength of the hue on his visor depending on how loud he wants to be.

He'd take the time for repairs and check ups to meditate and love his body as he polishes the metal along with his swords, use it to think about how far he's come. Because he loves his body, prays about it, appreciates it, takes care of it.

Lanzhou beef noodle cats

They mostly only have locations in NY but there’s this beef noodle place called Dun Huang where they make their noodles hand pulled in house. Highly recommend. I have dreams about their noodles sometimes
