I want the whole non-ghost Phanfam to be either at least liminal, have powers or have specialties(like Tucker being technopath, Sam being able to control plants like Poison Ivy, Jazz having a power where she can influence other people with persuasion easily, Maddie is a super skilled martial artist with many expertise and Jack is just like super strong). They would be at first be underestimated by the Bats, but as the time passes by, they became one of the top Gotham Rogues

I think the Waynes will be on edge because of the new influx of villains and with Danny being suicidal. Bruce wouldn't listen to Tim as to why they need to let Danny go back to his family. The title of being the most difficult child of Bruce is no longer Damian/Jason. Dick? Well, he's at his breaking point and will probably be much more vicious whenever he's in the mask, demonizing the Bats even much further. He's probably secretly resenting Bruce and Danny. Cass probably won't return to the Manor due to the stress and tension when she visited the Manor for like 3 days. Damian will probably be neglected or feel neglected as Bruce spent most of his time with being Batman, or "trying to fix" Danny, Damian will also spend his time being Robin as he feels like he needs to prove to his father to not replace him. Duke, as time passes, became guilty and would try to be accommodating to Danny and he would be the first one to discover that Danny is dying because of what they've done. He almost fess up to the Phanfam on where Danny is, but the boy is loyal to Bruce... for the time being. Steph and Barbara is always targeted by Danny whenever they visit the house or the cave, so their visits in the manor became less. Alfred, in this au, is complicated. He tries real hard to make sure that Danny is well-fed and cared for and on one hand, he's really tired with how every time Bruce fucks up, he is always called to persuade Danny, who is much MORE stubborn than Bruce. With Bruce's top priority is Danny, Alfred is left to deal with the rest of the family. Alfred doesn't have the chance to get to know Danny more because 1) Danny doesn't give him a chance and 2) Alfred is bombarded with other things to have time. At one point, Alfred snaps and shouts at either Bruce or Danny and he nearly quits (or whichever in the family you may prefer), prompting Bruce to probably take action to fix the problem that he's done. Cause if Alfred's already having a breakdown, then that means the problem probably already festering faster than he thought.

Jason, oh Jason, in my mind he would be a full blown asshole, taunting and insulting Danny when he's visiting the Manor or when he captures Danny unsuccessfully trying to escape. Jason dislikes Danny at first sight and thought that he was just being an attention seeker with his suicidal tendencies. Reasoning: he thought that Danny didn't look like someone who gave up at life. Danny looked like who would harm himself just to torment his oppressors and make them squirm, Danny looked like someone who wanted to live. And that the reason why Danny is locked into the house and wanted to escape every chance he gets is to return to his family(to the Fentons, not Talia, Jason). He thought that Danny was raised by Talia, making him a much more sadistic and suicidal version of Damian(except that Danny doesn't attack Tim). He wasn't really told the true reason why Danny is here, cause he would probably go PTSD, go ballistic at them and his relationship to the family will be strained again. Which he did, don't worry, when Tim and/or Duke clues him in on what's really going on. And he would never be able to shake the guilt of what he's done to Danny, of how Danny almost died in there, even after Danny returned to the Fentons. He would sometimes look at Bruce, Dick and probably even Alfred with the betrayal and/or heartbreak when he remembers the emotional damage they've done to all of the others, just because they thought that they know what's right.

The only person who I think is at truly at fault here is probably Bruce, he's like the parent who thinks they know what's best to their child and would probably listen to their complaints but won't give it a second thought.

I will do a continuation much, much later because my creative thoughts are exhausted.

Danny had slowly come to hate his human side. Well, humanity in general usually left a poor taste in his mouth, so as the weeks passed and the end of his sophomore year inched closer he made a decision. He was going to live his afterlife in the ghost zone. Probably go so far as to fake his death.

Things go south when his bio-dad showed up and he would have been stoked to learn his bio-dad was Batman if it wasn't for his insistence on "fixing" him. He wanted to be less human not more. Geez.

Turns out his bio-mom was that one lady with the long dark hair and green eyes that would smile at him from the shadows while he was patrolling as Phantom. He liked her. Sometimes she waved at him. He liked her a little less for siccing Batman on him. She had called him in out of worry for thier "son"

As it turns out, the reason she did that was because the source of his power (he pointed out it was called a core) was absorbing too much power too quickly and was at risk of overheating and having a meltdown, something akin to a nuclear reactor. He didn't like where this was going. Frostbite had said everything was fine at his last check-up, but no one was listening to him (another thing he hated about being human. As a ghost he was respected, or at least listened to) "So, what? I'm going on vacation?"

The "adults" looked at eachother. "Something like that." Nightwing gave a reassuring smile that only seemed to unnerve Danny more. They were hiding something and Danny had a bad feeling that it was going to end up making him miserable in some way.

He made sure that his friends and sister (meeting his bio parents changed nothing. She would always be the best big sister he would ever have. The only big sister!) knew where he was going and for how long and to raise holy hell if he wasn't back on time. After that we went willingly with Batman onto the batjet.

This turned out to be a mistake as he woke up nearly two months later completely human. Well, ok. Not quite. His eyes still glowed green whenever he was angry or distressed, like now. But his core and all his powers were gone.

Batman had stolen his powers from him. He had stolen Phantom from him. Everything he ever worked for. All the treaties he had made and signed in preparation for his coronation to the Ghost Zones throne, all the grueling training Pandora and the others gave him to controlling his powers, every flunked class and detention from having to run out and deal with a ghost, his shattered dreams of being an astronaut, everything he had done and sacrificed since the accident now meant nothing.

All because of some rich megalomaniac billionaire wanting to control him. Figures. He had the audacity to act suprised when he blew up at him. His powers where such a huge part of him. It was one of the few parts of himself that he actually liked. And Bruce had the nerve to give him the "superpowers aren't everything" speech. How condescending could someone be?!

The insinuation that he could be one of his flightless birds (oh God he would never fly through the nights sky again would he?!) and should be greatful about it was frankly insulting.

So he did what he did best. Escape. Except they caught him. Every. Single. Time. Was this a mansion or a prison? Honestly he wasn't sure anymore. Where was Jazz and his friends?

He cursed aloud when he realized they didn't have any way of tracking him without him being a ghost. He really was on his own with his kidnappers huh. And they were trying really hard to inflict some Stockholm syndrome, but didn't like it when he made the insinuation out loud.

They tried everything in thier power to keep him there "until you're better" and he couldn't tell you how many times they've busted down the door to reach him before it was "too late". Many locks throughout mansion were removed because of this. Too bad for them there was a lot of ways a normal human could "Go Ghost". It was a reoccurring joke that was slowly driving Bruce insane. Good. Suffer.

He really wished Nightwing would stop coming into his room at night to hug him though. The hugs were long and uncomfortable and he kept trying to talk to him. Weird. He acted like death was something to fear.

Too bad he wasn't going to make it easy for them. He had managed to slip away from the purple girl long enough to set two of the libraries on fire (a fact the estranged Wayne child was later furious about when he found out) and make a run for it. He actually managed to steal the batmobile and get a few miles out of the city before he was caught and recaptured. Danny never gave up though. He always found a new way to raise hell and escape.

He was going to become a ghost again.

One way or another.

heyyy i just posted a fanfiction on wattpad, and here’s the preface to it! pls check it out and i hope u enjoy!! 😻

TOMMY WITHOUT HESITATION COULD RECALL THE DAY WHEN HE MET LORELAI FOR THE FIRST TIME. not only because she immediately became one of his best friends, but he would consider it as the best day of his entire life.

it had taken place during one of his unexpected, chill streams on the alt account. he was casually messing around the server while telling some (in his opinion) funny stories, but as the time passed everyone started to get bored.

"let's see if sapnap is down for a round or two games in valorant." he let a small sigh out, before joining the vc with dream, sapnap, and deafened karl. "why the fuck are you two here? can't you just talk to each other in the living room or some shit?"

"hi tommy" dream chuckled as tommy finished his sentence. "we're on a minecraft date, and you're kind of interrupting us right now, dude." the oldest boy added, trying to muffle his laugh.

"eww, man. i'm almost the same age as your younger sister, what the heck?" hearing the unknown voice, tommy shifted his gaze from the game to their discord server (just to check if he had mistaken someone for sapnap). "hello tommy, i'm rory, sapnap's sister. it's a huge pleasure to meet you." the girl added, making his lips curl up into a small smile.

"SEE, CHAT? women love me and think it's a HUGE pleasure to meet me." tommy exclaimed looking into his webcam with a wide grin. "it's a pleasure to meet you as well, rory. down for some valorant?" his voice sounded so pleasantly chill, and calm as he spoke, logging into the riot client.

lorelai genuinely enjoyed tom's videos, especially the ones on his vlog channel. she would watch them every time she felt miserable, because of his friend group's humor. and well, how could she say no?

"under one condition," he hummed in response. "you gotta carry me, cause i'm in a low elo." she added, making him chuckle lightly.

it's been a few minutes, and after exchanging riot ids, spending a good two minutes in a queue, they finally started a game. dream decided to stay in a call with the two, muting himself eventually.

"someone take sage, we need sage" an unknown voice spoke in a team voice chat, causing rory to roll her eyes. "then you shouldn't insta lock jett asshole" she spoke annoyed, making tommy giggle a little.

for the chat, it seemed like they'd known each other for a while now, without unnecessary awkwardness in the air, with constant jokes, and good communication during games. for the girl it was like a dream she didn't want to wake up from, playing with someone she felt she clicked with so much was way funnier than playing alone.

"yeah- hahaha, i, i bet it's just luck" he blushed lightly, almost impossible to notice, but some people had, and rory was one of them. "wait i'll revive you" his character placed a wall in front of them, before reviving her.

"thank you!" the girl remarked as she crouched happily, shooting at someone who tried to kill her new friend. "m gonna protect you, tommy, don't worry".

"i am a pocket sage, then." he stated before both of them burst into laughter.

after some won (and some lost) games, he finally ended his stream, making sure that the girl he was talking to earlier, would stay on a call with him. he couldn't know why, but something about her that interested him.

maybe it's because they clicked so fast, or because he hasn't really met any girl his age that he could play games with. it felt like he's known her his entire life, and leaving their call was the last thing he wanted to do.

"hey, um, i hope i didn't make you uncomfortable." tommy mumbled in his normal, non-streaming voice. "if i did, it was unintentional. i had sometimes forgotten that it's our first talk." he added, causing rory to smile.

"ahh, no, don't worry about it." she chuckled. "i had real fun talking to you. it seems so unreal, cause i feel like i've known you since always." rory added, her cheeks beginning to feel warmer.

"THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!" he laughed softly, switching his screen to their call. "we've been talking for six hours now, oh my god."

"wait, isn't it 1am for you right now?"

"yeah, but it's okay. i enjoy talking to you" the boy spoke cheerfully, logging into the dream smp (that he made for him and his friends). "by the way, would you like to give me your own discord? so we can talk later?"

and after that, they were talking for the next three hours straight, without a single moment of unpleasant silence. the two would probably be even longer if it wasn't for sapnap who burst into the room, causing them to end the call.

"how long have you been talking?" sapnap asked, looking at his younger sister suspiciously. "you've been sitting here for nine hours straight?" he added in shock.

it's been like 3 yrs since i left the fandom, i don't keep up with the manga whatsoever... but as i was casually browsing quotev i accidentally stumbled upon what heroes do. i clicked on ur story because "oooo my oc is this canon character's twin" sounded interesting, and i figured why not read it since im bored haha. And i didn't even expect much from whd???? i was like haha Cool Read???? i bet i'm gonna forget this fanfic in like a month?? but OMGGGG 😮💨 instead you singlehandedly revived my obsession with the show DKAJHFHAFBZJAJBR

the way you characterize them— i'm in love pls teach me ur ways hnggrhhhn. i have never, and i mean never, read a silly anime fic with so much depth to each and every character! like i never expected MONOMA would play a big-ish part in your plot lmao. I never even thought about how rei, whilst trying her best to raise shouto, might have consequently neglected her other children. I never think much about how the rest of 1a might feel when all might basically throws them aside for izuku—or whether they were even aware of it. (again, i left the fandom long ago, so idk if this was ever brought up in the manga. but i'm saying that as far as *I* can remember, it didn't happen lol. so i was pleasantly surprised with how you tackled it in your fanfic)

like srsly, you are a fucking chad when it comes to characterisation. how does it feel to be able to bring to life and write so eloquently the emotions of literal 2d characters? i never thought i'd cry over someone's OC BUT HERE WE ARE LMAOO

Asks like these get me in the writing mood again. I'm half-way through the next chapter. It's taking me a bit longer because I'm keeping an eye out on Horikoshi's storyline with the Todoroki's and am introducing a kind of controversial character far earlier than they are introduced in the manga.

We're going to divide the story into two Act--the first being the Todoroki Act, which is the reason for Izumi's rage mode and our story will tie up the loose ends here first, before progressing to the AFO Act. I'm actually pretty excited and drafting/plotting the future chapters with the new Information we get every week, so I'm being a bit slower on the WHD side of things.

But, thank you so so much for this ask and maintaining my ego even during my small hiatuses.

Some more fluff with Oddy!

First some more specifics with them and bench trio, then some of them being baby

Ranboo: Strip mining buddies! (My two favorite things to do in minecraft are strip mining and fishing so Oddy likes those too) and like. No better time for bonding than trauma dumping at midnight while doing something repetitive and calming. Always willing to help with his memory issues in any way they can (but like. They also have shitty memory but the normal kind. They can help with big things but mundane stuff? They're lost on it too.("can you help me remember where I'm putting this" "kid I absolutely can't, I put down a book 10 minutes ago and now I already can't find it") It's the adhd babey-)

Tubbo: God Oddy has such a soft spot. I mean he does for all of them but with Tubbo? They're his #1 apologist /hj

Like frfr they try to take responsibility off him whenever they can.

Tommy: (okay I'm gonna admit I know a lot less about his character but I'm trying ♡ this is pretty post revival Tommy inspired bc I hc that post revival he feels way more jaded) learned very quickly that unlike the others who don't mind "kid" as a teasing/affectionate nickname, Tommy is definitely against it. They switched to calling him "big man" instead.

Here's a little snippet of a possible convo with them

"Hey big man, come sit here with me."

"..okay"

"You know it's okay to be a kid right? Being young is not a detractor. It's nice to be young, there's no need to rush to grow up"

"Too late. I'm not a kid. I'm a massive big man"

They barely would have to suppress a wince of sympathy. "In that case. It's okay to pretend. To pretend you don't feel the weight of stress on you. It's okay to, for even a short period, believe that if you fall, you have someone who will catch you, someone willing to be responsible for you"

"Not needed. But. ...I'll think about it..."

"I'll be here if you need me big man."

Also I imagine Oddy making a calm dome full of flowers (with a preference for azaleas, orchids, alliums, roses, and lilacs), pretty amethyst decorations, and a little redstone note block melody. It's not super hidden with any complicated hiding mechanism but it's out of the way away from everything else.

Now onto Odysseus being baby!

I'm not saying Oddy age regresses but also 👀 I'm not saying they don't. That's not for right now though.

Essentially they get into "if anyone I'd remotely mean to me I *will* burst into tears" moods. They're incredibly cuddly and sensitive in those moods. (The moods aren't common because Oddy is my "what if I went feral instead of being anxious and scared of confrontation" oc but they deserve a little anxiety and nonconfrontation. As a treat.)

They also get cold relatively easily and will be a big baby about it

Tech: *gets out of bed in the morning*

Oddy: evil, evil boyfriend, leaving me to die of hypothermia. It shall be a slow demise but at least when I perish I will feel warmth once again.

Tech: I'm still getting up

Oddy: *puppy cries* 🥺🥺 pls

Tech: darlin' I can't stay in bed all day.

Oddy: >=( I bet Titus wouldn't leave me like this. He's my favorite boyfriend now.

liiiike. you have a game with the shsl maid who's responsible for at least one death and the game where the protag is a fake and is responsible for at least one death (im intentionally being vague here pls don't come @ me abt v3 ch6) we have the blue haired boy who winds up taking more of a leading role we have the buff gentle giant perceived as having social issues, we have a "almost the tallest" boy who knows a good bit abt religion, we have the girl who's constantly being lewd towards her classmates, w/o getting into a more serious convo abt that, thennn

we have a girl who's overall helpful and does a lot for the cast but then surprises most everyone with their actions and dies (kaede/akane), we have the girl with v long hair who's rather cold/distant but winds up surviving after being involved in some way with the person who in ch5 starts coughing up blood right before/as they get executed before dying on their own terms instead of in a execution for a murder where their hand was forced too much, aaaaand even more comparisons could prolly be found by someone who's actually played through v3

now then.

we have chapter 1, in which a character who seemed they'd be relevant/important is killed by a blond(e) leading to more tension and district within the group (yuri seeming like the "~crazy antag~" and hajime revealing the existence of void/it's members being in the class, and kaede being a figure of trust/hope and committing murder and being executed, as well as. what actually happened being kinda horrifying)

chapter 2, in which a girl generally polite/caring murders someone. there's not really many parallels here but also i havent played v3 so??? anyways yuuki directly looked up to and was a fan of emma whereas kirumi served to help the whole group, so we were heavily exposed to these characters as positive influences and then... yeah, they killed bc of something outside the game (emmas trauma vs kirumis job)

chapter 3, mentioned in this ask/in some of my posts, in which a girl dies being directly manipulated (hibikis.. existence/tenko being used for the ceremony) by serial killer killing for their sister, in smthn that "huuuuuh??? no it's not at all related to trauma they're just evil and fucked up inhetently!!!" -the creators of both games.

also uhhhh smthn smthn angies whole thing she had going on that chapter vs the fact that setsuka was like. working with nikei on his plan. goals to revive the dead students vs all the shit nikei proceeded to pull abt whether or not the others could come back, to try and fuck over mikado who was gonna kill the CoU to bring back utsuro. cinematic parallels perhaps

chapter 4: dark haired twink looks at local bara and chooses violence, much to the distress of a girl with light hair who just wants that twink obliterated. more at 11. execution that cues a lot of "hey what the fuck they didn't deserve that that's bullshit also what the actual HELL are the mono mascots up to this time" also there's soooo much debate on like. who was where and the weapons and locations and on and on that has to happen so. good job twinks i guess!

i have a huge essay to do for college now and honestly do not think i know enough about the other 4 chapters (v3/sdra2 ch 5/6) but!!!! in conclusion: im right

HI I JUST FINISHED THE MASTERPIECE THAT IS SPIN😭😭 I’m so sad I finished it but I’m so happy I saved that chapter for a day I really needed it because it was perfection literally. Honestly the whole fic was amazing I loved all the humor (and laughed out loud many times) but THEIR DYNAMIC in this was my favorite thing ever. Like I know I went on and on about it in chapter 1 but it never stopped and I’m obsessed I think it’s one of my favorite dynamics I’ve ever read. sad headcanon: hes kind of tied all of his self-worth 2 his physical strength & athletic abilities at this point, so he feels like if people don't need/appreciate his skills hes basically useless :( which is part of the reason he played along with zeus for so long, because it just made him feel wanted

haha funny headcanon: in general she's not great in combat EXCEPT for with a garrote. people tend to underestimate her and then she pulls out this small piece of wire and they start REALLY underestimating her and then she cuts their head off

sad headcanon: i think she was actually really close with daedalus :( she stuck with him well after he started being Really Evil, just bc she refused to accept that the one good person she'd grown up with was Bad Actually

my canon now: beat the shit out of theseus and now she has actually good friends (even though she prefers working alone most of the time, which is okay bc they respect her boundaries <3)

realistic headcanon: hes a smart guy :] no caveats here i just think hes a very smart dude w a special interest in the sphinx virus

sad headcanon: when he was a kid he really wanted to go to space... he genuinely thought there was something up there, something he could study, yknow? and he still wants to go to space, now he just knows there's nothing up there.

oh totally. i’ll overshare with you any day, especially when it comes to my pets!

when i was a really little girl, we had a tabby named sudi (after the phil collins song sussudio) and a white cat named luna. i actually don’t remember much about luna because she died when i was a wee baby, but sudi was kinda mean. skittish and not really up for a lot of attention, which was a shame because my two sisters and i really wanted to give her lots of love.

after sudi got sick and passed away, we got a calico named abby. we actually found her at a home and garden show. the apl had a display there, and i got stuck in front of this particular cat’s cage and wouldn’t leave. that, of course, attracted my sisters’ attention, and we went home with a cat. abby was also kind of standoffish – she’d disappear whenever someone new came to our house. but she really loved my aunt for whatever reason. she made the move with us from our first house, to an apartment, to my parents’ current home, but then eventually went into kidney failure. she was pretty resilient and stuck around for a long time, but we had to keep her isolated in a crate and give her lots of meds.

shortly after we’d settled into my parents’ current home, we found spencer – another tabby. he lived on a golf course across the street from one of my older sister’s friend’s houses, and i don’t remember exactly how he came to live with us. what i do remember is that my mom made his being able to stay contingent on him learning to use the cat door to the basement where we kept the litter boxes, so my sisters and i spent a concentrated afternoon training him with plenty of treats and pats. spencer was by far our friendliest cat at that point. very affectionate. liked pretzels and sleeping in my little sister’s bed. he’s still around, but he’s had kitty cancer for awhile. so he’s not in the best health.

i think our dogs – charlie and tessa – came next. my mom did a lot of research about hypoallergenic dogs and decided we’d get labradoodles. i remember we had dentist appointments before we were scheduled to meet with the breeder, who had two puppies left, and my mom was very stern with us girls about how we were only going to bring home ONE dog. when we got there, charlie was very outgoing and spent time with each of us, while tessa hid – scared as hell – under the table. it was actually my dad who asked for both, ahaha. i want to say they’re about 13 or 14 now.

next, my sister went to college – two different ones in fact – and came home with a cat from each. cali and mason. zoey came from her job at a vet clinic – she had one eye swollen shut but they were able to revive her. finn is also from the clinic. he came from a litter someone just dumped on the front steps. all these cats still live with my parents and aren’t really MINE, but i love them anyway. 

which brings me to oliver! he did live at my parents’ house for several years before i got my own cat-friendly place. (he’s emotionally scarred from living with my mother for too long - just like me…i can tell because he fuckin scatters every time he hears her voice. my bby). ANYWAY, my little sister is actually the one who brought oliver home. she, and one of my friends from high school, found him on a farm. a couple of assholes were going to shoot him just to get rid of him, but my lil sis saved him.oliver’s a tabby. he so soft and pretty much scared constantly (we’re trying some anxiety meds for him atm actually) and i’m the only person he’s cool with 100% of the time. i love that little guy with all my heart.

we rescued buffy, our tiny little calico bby, from my older sister’s clinic too. she tested positive for FIV and those cats aren’t usually easy to adopt out, so my sister called me. john and i visited her and immediately fell in love. she was our first cat together and – damn i’m tearing up writing this because i still miss her so much – we were devastated when we found out she had some aggressive form of kitty leukemia that had spread to several organs only a year and a half after getting her. i mean, we knew she was gonna have a slightly shorter lifespan than most cats, but we were just not prepared for that news. the last month of her life was really challenging, watching her appetite slip away and her body take the toll of the illness. we buried her with her favorite toy ball in john’s parents’ yard.

finally, we adopted anya from an old classmate, who decided to foster a litter of four kittens. she reached out to us a few months after we put buffy down, and john and i decided that the timing was just fine. anya’s white with black spots, she REALLY likes food (she’s getting chubby, it’s adorable), and she’s super playful. her and oliver get along just fine, but she’d definitely more rambunctious than him so she gets on his nerves sometimes. but they snuggle in sunbeams and play a lot.
