Luke

For the most part, Luke's a pretty chill guy so things don't bother him as much as they used to when he was younger.

He's glad to see you expand your horizons and meet new people along the way, especially finding new masters to train under.

He wants to see how far you've come from the last time he saw you, so he asks for a quick sparring match.

And you'd exceeded his expectations!

He's happy to see you develop your own style and dominate the streets.

"Woah, you've really stepped up your game," he said, genuinely impressed.

One thing though...why do you fight like a certain drunken boxer he knows?

Oh, You're learning under Jamie? Cool. Cool.

He's smiling but you can feel the tension behind it.

Luke is definitely the type of jealous that tries to play it off in a joking manner.

"Let's just say, I've had a couple of run-ins with the guy." he forced a chuckle. "He's...something else."

"Sounds like there's more to the story."

"Maybe there is, but it doesn't matter. What matters is that you're growing into an incredible fighter, and I'm proud of you for that." He pulled you in to press a kiss on your temple.

"Thanks, Luke. That means a lot coming from you."

"Anytime," he said, reaching out to ruffle your hair playfully. "And hey, if Jamie gives you any trouble, you let me know, okay?"

"Of course." you laughed, swatting his hands away.

"Come on, let's grab something to eat. I'm starving, and I bet you could use a bite after all that."

"Sweet! But you're buying."

You're your own person and you get to decide who you want to train under, but it still nags at him from somewhere deep within.

It may sound selfish of him, but he would rather you come to him for your concerns than anyone else. In part as your Coach and boyfriend.

So when other people try to make moves on you, he's internally sizing them up as he gives them a once-over.

So even though he has a smile on his face, it never reaches his eyes.

But he won't bring it up this time since you held Jamie in such a high regard.

And he's not going to hold your hand for every decision you make, but he trusts you enough not to do anything behind his back.

He hates to admit it, but it does tick Luke off knowing that Jamie would rub it in his face in their next encounter, it's almost inevitable.

So he would have a couple of not-so-nice words for the guy the next time he sees him on the street.

Ed

Ed watched you near the gym entrance as he leaned against the heavy sliding doors. 

You were running late to your nightly meet-ups and you weren't responding to any of his messages leading up to now. 

He wouldn't have cared if something came up and you had to cancel your date with him, but you mentioned how excited you were about seeing him today that he didn't think you would've just dipped the last second. 

So he went on a whim and decided to pay the gym down the street a visit. 

And surprise, surprise, here you were. 

You were chatting with, what he could assume was your coach, in the middle of the room. 

Ed's eyes flickered at the way Luke lightly squeezed your shoulder with a certain fondness in his eyes.

Bastard. 

He didn't know if you were oblivious or dumb for not noticing, so he made himself known by stepping on the mats in your direction. 

His presence immediately drew your attention and your eyes lit up when you saw him approaching, stepping back from Luke you said, "Ed! What are you doing here?"

"You're late. We had plans, remember?"

"Oh, crap, I'm so sorry! I lost track of time and…" You sputtered an apology and some excuses that fell deaf on his ears but his attention was more focused on your chummy coach.

Ed's glare could paralyze most people with fear, but Luke observed the exchange with a curious expression.

Realizing you may be having a one-sided conversation you introduced the pair to each other.

Luke extended a hand with a friendly smile. "The name's Luke, I'm one of the coaches here at Buckler's.

"Yeah, I've heard about you." He said, not acknowledging Luke's hand, which made the former pull back.

"Ed's been teaching me a little bit of boxing on the side." You chimed in, wrapping your arms around him. 

Actually, it was a bit odd that he didn't immediately try to shake you off. But that meant his mind was somewhere else.

"You've taught them well, They're lucky to have you as a teacher." Luke replied, addressing Ed again.

"Right…" 

He shrugged the arm you were hanging onto. "You ready to head out?"

"Yeah, just let me grab my stuff real quick then we could go," you said, giving him a small peck on his cheek before heading toward the locker room, leaving the pair alone.

"Look I don't know what you're trying to play at and frankly I don't care, but it ends now." 

"Hey, man, I'm not trying to play at anything. I'm just their coach. We keep things professional here." Luke raised his hands in a placating gesture.

"Yeah? Well, you seem pretty damn friendly for just a coach." Ed scoffed, not buying it.

Luke sighed, dropping his hands. "I get it. You're protective of them, and that's fine. But you need to trust that I'm not crossing any lines."

"Trust ain't something I give out easily. And right now, nothing's telling me you deserve even a lick of it."

"Fair enough," Luke said, crossing his arms. "But you should know that Y/n's here because they want to get stronger. And I'm not going to stop coaching them because you're feeling insecure."

"Insecure? Now you're just spouting crap." Ed narrowed his eyes.

"I don't think so." Luke hummed.

You quickly reappeared from the locker room with a bag slung over your shoulder. 

"Ready!" You said cheerfully, grabbing Ed's hand. "Alright, I'll see you later, Coach!" You called over your shoulder as you dragged the boxer towards the exit.

"Take care. And keep on practicing your footwork," he gave you a small wave. 

"Oh, and Ed," Luke said with a slight edge to his tone, making Ed turn to face him, "Take your shoes off the next time you step on my mats, won't you?"

Ed scoffed, with a smirk tugging on his lips. At least, he ain't no pushover.

You glanced between the two, sensing the underlying tension but not quite catching the full meaning of Luke's remark.

"What was that about?"

"Nothing, Just gym etiquette."

Jamie

With Jamie, he doesn't get jealous as easily as other people on this list. But he definitely has his gripes from time to time.

Woah, Pulling punches during a dance battle? Didn't see that one coming.

You told him you've been learning boxing from a guy who's been hanging around the beat square subway station, at least three times a week.

He was wondering what you've been up to.

Wait, did you say three times a week? That's more than you see him.

What's up with that?

He didn't mind you picking up new skills, especially with something as badass as boxing, but he missed your late-night talks.

And now, it was basically cut in half thanks to this Ed guy.

So he thinks it's time to give him a little visit from the infamous Jamie Siu, himself.

"Ah, now I get it." Jamie playfully circled him. "You got the whole bad boy get up and everything, huh?"

Ed looked up from his phone with an unreadable expression, "You gotta problem wit' me or something?" 

"Not at all buddy. I'm just trying to see who Mooncake's been hanging out with."

You sighed, telling him that Ed is just your Boxing coach and he's teaching you how to wield Psycho Power.

Nothing more, nothing less.

After adverting the crisis that was about to break out at the station, you would give Ed a quick apology before leaving with Jamie. 

Ed shrugged, saying 'whatever' and went back to his phone. 

You would have to confront him about his attitude later on.

Even if he felt jealous of where your focus was, you're still learning how to street fight. And he has no right to interfere with your training with your other Coaches. 

He shrugged at your concerns before asking if you wanted to try this new concoction he put together, offering the lip of his gourd to you. 

"Jamie, I'm being serious." You pushed the bottle back to him. 

"So am I."

You hardly picked up the way his eyes bore into your soul before he broke into a grin, taking a swig of his drink.  "Nothing like a good drink to ease the nerves."

When you tell him you're still upset with him about today, he'll lean up against the rails and cross his arms. 

Most of his jealousy stems from the fact that you're spending more time with other people than him. And he feels a tad bit neglected.

He's used to being isolated so the feeling isn't new to him. But he found himself staring at the space beside him where he expected to find your presence.

The times when you don't visit him, his mind wanders to the silly little adventures you'd tell him about and the places you get to see around the world.

But you have a track record of being gone for long periods of time and he just waits here, until you came back.

It's not your fault. He was just being a hard-ass, so he would be the one to apologize. 

"Look, I know you're still starting out and learning new stuff, which is cool n' all but I miss our nights together. And if it's that important to you, I'll back off. Just make sure to stop by from time to-time. 'Kay?"

"I will…And thanks, Jamie. I really appreciate it."

After a beat of silence, you gestured to the gourd resting beside you two. "Now, about that concoction of yours."

Jamie broke out in a grin, handing it to you. "Prepare to be amazed. The new and improved recipe is made from the ingredients you brought from Tian Hong Yuan. It's got a kick to it, just like you."

You both would've retired for the night in a drunken stupor, entangled in each other's arms.

He snuggled his face in the crook of your neck with a dumb smile, mumbling how much he loved you.

But next time you visit Ed, Jamie gives you a couple of 'souvenirs' to show off to your friend to show who you belong to. 

Bosch

You know, when you decided to stroll through town, Bosch didn't expect you to pick up another Master.

If anything, he guessed it was your eagerness that made people naturally gravitate to you.

He could tell how much you admired Rashid's wind abilities and charming personality, but it still irked him more than he cared to admit.

You would spend the majority of your days training and chatting with Rashid, eventually kicking Bosch to the curb.

He knew it was nothing more than a student-teacher relationship, especially since Rashid's wind techniques were something you wanted to master.

And the thing is, Rashid isn't even a bad guy.

He's just very charismatic, in a way that can be overbearing at times.

But he still couldn't shake the pangs of jealousy that gnawed at his soul.

With every new move that clicked, you would glance at Bosch to see if he noticed.

He's at least a little glad you still sought him out, despite your attention being elsewhere.

Maybe that's why he let it go on for so long.

He'll sit on his emotions and let the feeling bubble in his stomach before he would ever confront you about it. 

He probably even lets out a few snippy remarks if you keep pushing him away.

He doesn't mean it.

He never does, but Bosch has never been in a relationship before, so he doesn't know what to do whenever he felt the burning sensation of jealousy below the surface of his skin.

Bosch sat by the window sill and let the cool midnight breeze brush against his face.

He should've been relaxing, but his mind was anything but calm.

He heard the soft creak of the floorboards as he turned to see you approaching. 

You sat next to him by the window, offering some food you got from the markets. 

Your presence instantly eased his nerves as you both sat in the dark, listening to the distant sounds of the city.

Sensing Bosch's off demeanor, you asked what was on his mind.

"I'm just thinking." He said, sipping his drink.

"About what?"

"You." His eyes met yours, "…and Rashid."

You blinked in surprise. "Rashid? What about him?"

"It's just…you've been spending so much time with him. I get that he's your new master and he's teaching you a lot, but it feels like there's no time for us anymore."

"I didn't know you felt that way, but I'm sorry for not noticing sooner." You said aimlessly playing with his hands before tangling them together.

Bosch sighed, looking down at your intertwined hands. "You don't owe me an apology. I know I'm being hard-headed. I just…I wish I could open up to you more."

"You can always talk to me about anything, Bosch. And you don't need to force yourself to do so for my sake."

He looked up, meeting your eyes again. "I know. It's just hard sometimes. And seeing you with Rashid, makes me feel..."

"Jealous?"

"It's stupid, I know."

"I don't think it's stupid, it's a very human emotion. But I want you to know that no matter what, I'll always want to be here with you."

He hummed, still not taking your words to heart and opting to stare off into the night.

"How about this?" You scooted closer, resting your head on his shoulder, "I'll set aside more time for us, and you tell me whenever something's bothering you instead of bottling it up...Deal?"

A smile tugged on Bosch's face as he drew your intertwined hands closer, brushing his lips against your knuckles.

"Deal."

hi 👋, so if you didn't know, rick just released this article called 'catching up with eudora [that counsellor lady from cotg if you didn't remember]: the wrath of the triple goddess' which is probably the first look we get into the plot of the wrath of the triple goddess, so here are some highlights:

"It’s not like her [Eudora] to simply disappear.......Is it a coincidence that Eudora went AWOL on the exact day a certain goddess of magic decided to visit AHS?"

So yeah, for this book apparently hecate PERSONALLY VISITS Percy's school to ask him for the quest, which is interesting and I hope it causes some chaos in the school. and as to WHY Eudora went missing....

2. "but we have heard that Hecate and Eudora have a complicated history. A history as . . . professional colleagues!.....we’re sure that whatever caused Eudora and Hecate to go their separate ways isn’t even worth remembering....oh, who are we kidding?"

Ok, this adds a level of spice to the story. I feel like this will kind of play a role in the story and might be the central conflict of the story along with percy trying to fix the mansion and find the pets and stuff, which is interesting since chalice of the gods was just one conflict and that was to retrieve the chalice.

Also, why do I feel that there will be eudora x hecate shippers after this book?

3. "Someone must have mentioned Percy’s name to Hecate when the goddess was screening candidates.......Still, the whole arrangement smells fishy"

Oooh that means there will be some extra mystery in this book which is probably 'Who gave percy's name to hecate?"

4. "We’d hate to think of what would happen if certain other supernatural beings started going missing in NYC . . ."

This line is what made me most excited. So it is kind of confirmed that along with finding the pets, percy and co will also have to solve the mystery, which we know has some connection to eudora and hecate's complicated past since eudora ran away.

This book already sounds better than chalice of the gods in terms of plot. I think Rick meant to keep chalice of the gods as a character centred story and this book as a good old rick Riordan style mystery book (which was actually the type of books he wrote before pjo) which is SO EXCITING DJSJDJSN

Trigun Manga Reaction

Starting off with Volume 1 - Chapter 1

I will always love Meryl's design. She is one of the most memorable female characters from my childhood. My most distinct image from Trigun 98 is Meryl showing off all her derringers from her coat. I love her and Milly a lot.

So, these two images make me giggle.

Ok. I have to do a double take here.

Is the Note: Staunch Pacifist here a "break the fourth wall" type of situation or an actual info people in the story know? Hmmm... from the animes, it doesn't seem to be common knowledge that Vash doesn't like to fight. People kinda shoot first and never ask later with him. I guess the many zeroes in his bounty just wipes off the "staunch pacifist" info from their minds or they think it's just a twisted joke to ignore.

AAAWWWW BABY!!!!

Sigh... Really... Vash... Just really?! I guess Badlands!Vash isn't too OOC when he pulled this stunt then he's still weirdly horndoggy there ngl.

Maybe I am just being weird here but this panel is really interesting because of the lack of details on this big guy threatening Vash. From his chest and below, with the exception of his hand holding the gun, there is nothing. He encompasses about three-quarters of this half page panel like a really big wall.

I guess the composition is supposed to show how he is trying to dwarf Vash. It doesn't work obviously since Vash looks so still and detailed in contrast to him. Idk. It's just how it comes across to me.

Oh... This is slightly different. Milly did understand what they meant and reacted to it unlike in '98 where she is just innocently confused.

This will always be iconic for me alongside Meryl's Derringers reveal. When I think of Trigun, these are two of the four images that come to my mind.

Oh... Oh... So, this stuff happens to Vash during the first chapter. I guess the animes are a bit more merciful that they have this happen after a few episodes at least.

and oh my god.. a headcanon ask, that's a first :0 ty ty!! I'll be brief about this because it's hard to think of any if not asked for specific headcanons on certain characters or scenarios so I will keep these not tied to any particular timelines and some are light-hearted n silly. They're just things I like to think about with some characters + some guriten since I've not spoken too much on them outside my sketches...

• Tenma is allergic to cats (specific to a scenario I've written in my head lol) • Nina and Lunge are ace • Grimmer prefers cheap wine while Tenma prefers nice beer • Dieter would love Pokemon/videogames • I like to imagine Nina and Eva become good friends • Jan Suk is the type to accidentally spill drinks all the time • I agree with everyone saying that Gillen had(/has) a crush on Tenma • Tenma would be really awkward with falling in love with Grimmer (honestly vice versa too, but Grimmer would have a lot more growing pains in terms of figuring out emotions)- but I think once Tenma settles into the role of his partner he'd be a lot more assertive and confident (aka tenma does top) • Tenma and Grimmer's home would eventually get filled with little knick knacks since Tenma can't resist giving gifts • Grimmer would probably take awhile to get used to a permanent home but when he does he starts a record collection

I'm still so new to the fandom so I think most of these headcanons have circulated in one way or another, plus reading what others write does help form some of these thoughts! I also love subtle things that breathe life into characters that would largely go unnoticed and are mostly unimportant but to me add little bits of depth to characters~ I try to add those to my drawings in a way (like adding a ring, specific props, Tenma's hair length, expressions, poses, clothing, whatever pops into my head...)

Okay so I did a brief digging into the manhwa works of Taejun Pak, the creator of Lookism. I won't go too deep into it all because these stories all are basically about hyper-violence in one way or another, and that's not something I feel I can enjoy. I don't mind a battle story, but Pak's creations are... a bit too much for me. I said how much I disliked Lookism, his more recent works like My Life as a Loser seem to be a bit better, though still not my cup of tea. Though this is obvious that it is because Pak is still making himself out as a manhwa creator - Lookism was literaly his first creation, and it shows as it bears all the marks of a "first project". His later projects seem more focused, more well-handled, more precise in what they try to do. However, I digress...

What I meant to say is that Pak clearly has a certain interest in exploring the various male body types and indeed, as I thought, almost all of his works contain presentations of fat male bodies to various degrees. (Since this post is VERY long, all under cut)

All was sparked recently due to the main character of "My Life as a Loser 2" being a very muscular guy who turned basically obese since the last time we saw him

I already talked a long time ago about Lookism, which started out and maintained this very bad habit of depicting all the overweight characters as... inhuman, grotesque, half-chibified abominations.

Except for this one side characters, originally the main antagonist, then turned sort of side-kick, then co-protagonist? I don't know, Lookism is very convoluted... but this guy who is drawn like a regular person, and does get an entire arc of him losing weight, and then regaining all back and some more, before returning to his usual size. Logan Lee, that's the name. And apparently from a quick image research he at one point loses the fat and get buff? Okay...

Oh yes and you can count the main character who, as he loses the weight, slowly turns more and more human-looking but... I mean come on, that's typical Korean fatphobia to the max, the guy literaly has to slim down to be human.

Well I would have said "typical Korean fatphobia" if there wasn't all those other detailed, constantly shirtless, and shown as strong fat characters that keep popping up in th artists' other works.

Another one of Pak's famous works is "Questing Supremacy" which also has its share of fat characters (notoriously shown here as hard to fight due to their weight apparently? I am relying on the screenshots I could find)

Though it makes sense since most of these series all take place within the same universe, with recurring background, organizations and characters. One of the fat guys is actually a (tertiary I would say?) antagonist that started in Lookism and then returned in Questing Supremacy. Someone did a compilation of how his frames were reused, and you can see the style evolution between the two works)

Viral Hit (also known as "How to fight") also contains some characters with fat on them (though I don't know much about this series), most notoriously Donseok Ok (referred to as "the fat boxer" by some Internauts)

And this guy everybody is crazy over apparently, Mangi Hwang

There's probably many more but, as I said, I probably won't get too deep into this all because... I just don't have the time to explore entire multiverses of webtoons about gang members and bullies beating up each other - no matter how cool or good-looking the fat guys might look. If anyone has specific info, indications or screenshots they want to share, as usual don't hesitate (I think I should open a "Submit" option on this blog...).

And why do I have the strange feeling that someone Pak hesitated drawing fat men early on but as time passes by he just goes all in and takes a huge kick out of it?

I am thinking especially about "My Life as a Loser 2": the main protagonist, after letting himself go massively, returns to the past (though in a different body) and we get to see back his muscular, fit self... Only for this old body to become just as massive if not more as the "future obese" self for reasons yet unknown and unclear (I will be on the lookout for explanations as to how he could grow that big in just a month). If there's no explanation, it's just that the creator wanted to have this fat design for as much as possible...

The blonde girl sighed and and threw her head back on the bed. “Ok fine! Just stop trying to act cute, it doesn’t suit you”

“As long as it gets you to finally come out the house for once” Giselle shrugged before slapping the shorter’s knee. “You always isolate yourself in this dorm! It doesn’t hurt to have at least 2 seconds of human interaction”

Karina sat up with a huge frown. “Doesn’t THIS count as human interaction?” Karina pointed a finger between her and the girl in front of her.

“It doesn’t count because we LIVE TOGETHER YOU IDIOT! I’m talking about some proper human interaction. Like go on a date with an idol or something, like, Le Sserafim’s Yunjin. Didn’t she text you about going out for ramen?”

“Mmm her and I have agreed that we see each other as bestfriends. She’s hot and plays guitar or whatever but we won’t click”

“Oh so your type is a tall hot girl who plays guitar? Noted. Who knows, maybe you’ll see one tonight at the bar”

Karina rolled her eyes. “We’ll see. What time are we heading there?”

Giselle looked at the alarm clock besides Karina’s bed. “Yuqi Unnie said to be there 8pm sharp”

“Yuqi Unnie is coming?! I thought you said it would only be us and the members!” Karina hissed, sending multiple slaps to the other’s arm.

Giselle gulped and looked away while fiddling with her fingers. “And Le Sserafim”

Karina flopped back into her bed again. “Oh my god you might as well invite Blackpink and Itzy while you’re at it!”

“I did but they have a busy schedule..” Giselle mumbled guiltily.

“This is too much human interaction”

After a short cab journey, the 4 members finally arrived in front of the bar that was already filled with people. NingNing thanked and paid the driver before they hopped out and and met G-Idle and Lesserafim just outside the place.

“Hey guys how are you all!?” Yuqi greeted excitedly, hugging and smiling at all the girls.

She led them all inside and managed to score a VIP table that was just next to the stage where instruments were placed. Karina sat in between Shuhua and Chaewon, sipping on the cocktails that Yuqi ordered. The conversation in the table was soon interrupted when 4 unfamiliar faces walked onto the stage but one face caught Karina’s attention.

A tall woman with long black hair and wispy fringe picked up the electric guitar and threw its strap onto her shoulder before adjusting her ear pieces. She was wearing a black fitted shirt, baggy jeans and black Doctor Martens. What completed her overall hot look was the silver chain dangling from her neck and the tattoos all over both arms.

Karina concluded that she had just found her eye candy of the night.

“Good evening everyone!” The person on the mic greeted aloud, erupting cheers from everyone in the bar.

“My name is Choi Eunsook, I am the vocalist and leader of Haze. On drums is Jang Hanna, on bass is Kang Hyunjung, and on guitar is Lee Y/N!”

The cheers got louder and Karina quickly joined in despite her focus remaining on who she now knew as Y/n.

“To begin we’d like to perform one of Y/n’s self written songs called ‘To Be With You’ Hope you enjoy!” Eunsook smiled as Hanna tapped her sticks and the band began to play.

“That guitarist is pretty hot don’t ya think, Rina?” Winter wiggled her eyebrows, letting the whole table hear.

Chaewon gasped and gently shook Karina’s shoulders. “Does someone have a little crush~ She’s super hot Karina, you should totally ask for her number later!”

“Are you insane? She probably has a girlfriend!”

“Mmm don’t think so. She’s looking right at you!” Shuhua gave rapid taps to Karina’s shoulder who turned her head to the guitarist.

And Shuhua was right.

Her eye candy of the night was looking right at her and she didn’t bother looking away even when the Aespa leader had made eye contact. Y/n gave a small smile in which Karina responded with nothing but red cheeks.

“She’s sooooo into you, Rina!” Miyeon laughed.

After a few more original songs and covers, Eunsook drank some water before returning the mic to her lips. “That was our final song everybody, enjoy the rest of your night! We’ll be around”

“I’m gonna go to the bathroom” Karina said despite the loud bar music that started to blast through the entire place.

“Did you want me to come with?” Minnie offered but Karina smiled and shook her head.

“I’ll be okay, don’t worry. Could you order me another cocktail please?”

Minnie nodded as the blonde Aespa member walked away to the back where the toilets were located. It didn’t take long for her to go in and back out, thanking the heavens that the bathroom was decent than most bars. She dried her hands and exited to return to the girls but an unfamiliar man stood in front of her and by the way he looked at Karina made it obvious as to what he wanted.

“Hi angel” He smirked and Karina had never rolled her eyes so hard before.

“Can I help you?”

“My table is nearby and I think my friends would love to meet you”

“No, I’m good. Now if you’ll excuse me-“ Karina’s heart stopped when the man grabbed her wrist and pulled her closer, allowing her to smell the alcohol from his body.

“Don’t be like that, angel. No one likes a party pooper. Come on, have a few drinks with us!”

“P-Please let me go..”

The man inched his nose towards Karina’s hair and took a nice whiff. “You smell so good”

Before he could make another comment, another hand (but much softer) took her other wrist and yanked her away from the man’s grip.

“You have some fucking nerve to be touching my girl like that, Kyle”

Karina’s eyes widened when she realised her saviour was Haze’s guitarist. At this point, she couldn’t tell if her heart was beating like crazy because of the yucky interaction with Kyle or because Y/n went from holding her wrist to holding her hand.

“Oh it’s you Y/n, I was just tryna make a new friend” Kyle laughed and attempted to grab Karina again but Y/n pulled Karina behind her, acting as her shield.

“A new friend for you to use as a fuck toy?”

Kyle laughed again. “I wouldn’t say it like that”

Y/n walked closer so her taller body towered over Kyle, his height just reaching Y/n’s shoulder.

“If I see you harass another person in here, I won’t hesitate to call Shownu and ban you not only from this bar but also every bar or club here. Comprende?”

“Yes ma’am” Kyle sighed and slowly backed away before making his full exit.

Y/n watched him leave and quickly turned to the blonde girl, letting go of her hand to Karina’s dismay. “Hey, are you alright? Did he touch you anywhere?”

“No I’m okay! Just a little startled, that’s all��� Karina smiled and Y/n smiled back.

‘Oh my god she’s so hot’ Karina squealed in her mind. “Was that guy your friend or something?” The blonde asked.

“Nah he’s a regular at this bar and is known for being a creep. Gave him enough warnings already, I don’t know why he doesn’t listen. I’ll inform Shownu to keep an eye out on him”

“He doesn’t look like he’s from here”

“He’s an international uni student from Madrid but he doesn’t matter anymore. Are you sure you’re alright?” Y/n asked again.

“Yes I’m okay now thanks to you”

“Wanna talk somewhere that’s not in front of a toilet?” Y/n asked, making the blonde laugh at her question.

“Yes please”

Y/n held her hand again and led her to the VIP seating upstairs where she could still see what’s going on below but she also didn’t have to scream over the music to talk. They sat on the comfy couch and the way Y/n was sitting with her arm over the backrest wasn’t doing Karina’s heart any good.

“I know my name was introduced on stage but I’ll say it again. I’m Lee Y/n” The taller introduced and put her hand out for a handshake.

Karina happily took it. “I’m Yu Jimin or you can call me Karina. May I ask how old you are?

“I’m 26, and you?”

“23”

“Did you like the performance?” Y/n asked.

“I did! The original songs were probably my favourite. Did you write them?”

“Only a few. Want some?” The taller offered as she grabbed an unopened bottle of vodka from underneath the table.

“Sure”

One shot turned into god knows how much more and Karina didn’t realised she was drunk as she was too hypnotised with the way Y/n did anything.

“Do you have a girlfriend, Y/n?” Karina slurred.

Y/n chuckled and brushed her hair back. “I don’t. My band and I practice and move around a lot for performances so I haven’t really gotten any action. How about you Miss Karina? Anyone sweep you off your feet?”

“No. I isolate myself in the dorm too much to even try and go on a date, and like you, it’s not easy getting free time as an idol”

“Yeah. I love your songs and stuff though”

“Oh you listen to Aespa?”

“I don’t live under a rock, Karina” Y/n laughed and Karina wanted to hear it again and again.

“Are you interested in anyone right now, Y/n?” Karina decided to boldly ask, the alcohol buzzing through her body as she scooted closer to the guitarist’s body where her arm was still attractively placed on the backrest.

Y/n’s eyes moved to focus on Karina’s soft lips, her body heating up at the close proximity. “Hmmm…Just one” The black haired girl replied with a toothy grin.

“Yeah? And who would that be?” Karina inched her lips closer to the point it was just above Y/n’s.

“Karina, you’re drunk” Y/n whispered, trying her best not to take the idol right there.

“I know, bust don’t you wanna kiss me? I couldn’t take my eyes off you the moment you went on that stage looking so fucking hot” Karina licked her lips and gently cupped Y/n’s face, brushing her thumb over the taller’s lower lip. “And I’m not leaving until I get a taste”

“Fuck” Y/n groaned and allowed Karina to finally connect their lips, moaning at the softness.

The guitarist grabbed onto the smaller’s hips and moved her to her lap without breaking the kiss. Karina’s hands roamed from Y/n’s strong shoulders down to her tattooed arms, her hips slowly grinding on her lap, eliciting another groan from the older.

“You’re driving me crazy, Karina” Y/n panted and moved her lips to Karina’s jaw, her soft kisses turning into sucking.

Karina moaned without stopping her hips and she started to feel something poke underneath. “Y-Y/n…Y/n what’s that?”

The older pulled away, admiring the purple spot she made on her neck. “Sorry I should’ve told you about it earlier. We can stop if you want”

Karina shook her head. “No I don’t wanna stop, please don’t stop”

“Alright, angel”

The blonde remembered how disgusting it sounded coming from Kyle but to hear it from Y/n just sounded so much better…and so damn right.

“Is it a strap? Or…”

“Why don’t you find out?” Y/n smirked up before smashing their lips again.

Karina felt dizzy. Dizzy but super horny and all that mattered to her was that she managed to pull her eye candy of the night. Her hand slowly moved lower to rub at Y/n’s crotch, the bulge getting impossibly harder.

Karina sighed. “I have to go…”

“That’s okay, my members would be worried if I disappeared like that too”

The smaller girl got off the taller’s lap and got her purse along with her phone. “Um are you gonna be okay with…that?” Karina shyly pointed at Y/n’s hard on.

“Yeah I can deal with it later. I’d love to escort you down but I don’t want you friends seeing me like this” The guitarist chuckled.

Karina stepped closer and gently stroked the bulge like earlier before planting one more intoxicating kiss to the older’s lips. “I’ve put my number in your pocket. Text me when you’re free”

“Yes ma’am”

The Aespa leader winked and made her way downstairs where the rest of the girls were, ignoring the way they all were screaming about their worries for the blonde’s sudden disappearance.

Karina was now frustrated.

Frustrated because she was getting lectured but also frustrated because she didn’t get that good dick tonight.

but I shall not get to complicated and just talk about main points !!!! I apologize in advance if stuff stops making sense I’m a little shaky if that makes sense??

1, the show wouldn’t have romance. I’m not saying this to make people mad or say anything against shipping. I’m saying this because I want the focus of the show to be about the paladins relationships towards one another and I don’t want it to be romanticized. I want to represent all the different types of love within the paladins except romantic because I feel as though it’d be really important especially because I want to make them almost like soulmates.

Like yes they’re the paladins of Voltron but they’re meant to be with each other. Like they all can take care of themselves but there’s something so important to their connection to one another that no one else can really understand.

It’s kinda like that one myth that soulmates are born to one body but are separated so they have to find each other to truely be whole. But platonically. (I’m sorry if that doesn’t make sense I’m really bad at explaining)

Like example Lance has a crush on allura but it doesn’t turn into anything. Allura doesn’t feel for Lance the same way and Lance learns that there is value in just having a friend. (I love allurance and have been thinking about it non stop but I’m strong on this)

2, there will be specific episodes dedicated to different characters bonding and creating their own connections. An example is an entire episode dedicated to allura and hunk or Keith and Lance. (Or even trios ((or more)), just any and all bonding forms)

It doesn’t have to be a serious situation like a mission but something to show growth between the characters and have them bounce off each other.

3, similar to 2 but it’s like filler episodes for the WHOLE team. Maybe they do something stupid or have a beach episode. Something to showcase that they’re getting more familiar with each other.

4, having more personal silent moments to themselves. An example is maybe starting off the episode with shiro taking a shower and you see that his scars are becoming more faded and he’s healthier than the start. He has more of a routine now for taking care of himself like washing his face perhaps.

It’s more of a comparison of growth situation.

5, having the paladins visibly age. I know this is hard for animation but I’d love to see their hands get more rough and their body’s change. Maybe they get some gray hairs.

I’d especially love to see more personal changes. Like with hunk and his hair. I feel as though hunk likes to work with his hands and doing his own hair gives him some personal relief and perhaps even doing everyone else’s hair.

6, interacting with aliens more on a personal level. Like the episode with the balmera was 10/10. They got to speak with the people and actually see what they’ve been living through.

I’d even love to see their gratitude in the form of gifts or supplies. Or even teaching them how to collect certain things (clay for beads for hunks hair and such)

Essentially I want them to build community. I want them to be able to provide resources and work with the people of the planets on more personal levels other than just having Voltron show up.

7, I want their elemental power more involved. Not like avatar the last air bender where they have that power but more …. Sound design and affects wise.

Example if keith is feeling absolutely defeated and devasted and is feeling his raw emotions there will be sounds of fire and even fire around him lighting him but not actually there.

Another one is with shiro, you can hear the sounds of wind in his fighting.

And it changes depending on their emotions. If they’re feeling exhausted and just done it’s quiet.

Like lances sound is more of a water droplet dripping slowly.

8, MUSIC!!!!! Everyone has their own instruments that follow with their element (shiro would be a wind instrument like a flute) so that when forming Voltron it becomes a symphony. Or even when it’s one on one or a trio their music blends together.

9, on the topic of music there has to be a musical episode. I liked the episode where they try to gain support by doing a show but it wasn’t nearly enough for me personally.

It’d be a way for them to earn money since even though almost every planet they go to gives them some supplies it’s not enough to fully sustain themselves.

10, touching, like either having a spa day or just having a little sleep over to have some moral and bring comfort to them.

11, the paladins teaching allura and coran human customs or the alteans trying to mimic the paladins.

an example is matching each others vocal patterns (let’s say pidge always says bless me when they sneeze and Lance picks it up)

12, INCLUDING ORHER ALTEANS BUT NOT THE COLONY CAUSE THAT GETS DELETED

I want romelle to be included but as a “it’s been 10,000 years and generations of altean people have been mixed with other species to the point where they’re almost not even altean anymore or look anything like them besides the marks on their eyes” types of deal.

Showing the change of generations.

Also showing normal galra. Galra that have nothing to do with the empire OR the blades cause I feel as though that would be interesting.

13, SENTIENT LIONS AND VOLTRON

The lions can speak (not in English more like purrs) but the paladins can understand. And they will bond with their paladins (think that episode with shiro and black)

Maybe Lance cleans blue after a battle stuff like that. ESPECIALLY THE LIONS PROTECTING THEIR PALAIDNS MMMMMM!!!!

but the thing is the lions sentience is different from Voltron.

Voltron speaks not well but they do. Their voice is Erieand glitchy.

And there’s something that ….lives in Voltron.

14, I want more mystery. Why does it take 10,000 years for Voltron to form again? Are aliens mad and even betrayed by voltrons existence for creating the galra empire? Why is Voltron sentient? What happened to zarkon? What happened to Hagar?

I want more focus on WHY Voltron exists and what it did for it to exist.

15, I want the paladins to be distraught and form trauma that shakes them to their CORE.

I want pidge to experience what it is to be a child solider to see all your friends almost DIE.

I even want them to resent being paladins as well. They deserve to feel upset and curse the universe for taking them here.

16, I do want elements of other reality but in a different way for sure. I want the universe to be sentient if that makes sense?

In the wake of the new Limbus Brainrot because Canto 4 ended, I've been seeing a certain... Dante related theory... making the rounds again and I wanted to post my thoughts about it.

Putting it under the cut for length reasons- No specific spoilers?, I just don't wanna blast people with the text wall lmao

I gotta say, I really hate the Dante = Ayin theory. Desperately.

Not any hate to the people theorizing- not like that, I just already have a deep hatred of [x person is actually y person]/Reincarnation/etc. theories.

Why, you may ask? Well, in the case of this theory specifically, I have three main reasons.

1 - The vibes of the two characters themselves

Important note, I actually like both characters. I know some people have A Lot to say about Ayin, and honestly so do I (Probably different things but yea), but I generally don't mind him as much as some other people seem to.

I also love Dante.

And Specifically, I'll say- I like them both for Incredibly Different Reasons. Different enough reasons that I feel that mixing the two would ruin them both. I mean sure, Dante CLEARLY has something going on in the memories they can't yet remember, but honestly? Ayin already had his arc. HAD his chance in the spotlight- a whole game of it. I wouldn't mind a cameo, or reason for him to be important in some way, but I'd be crushed if all the reasons I've come to love Dante were smothered by "oops all Ayin"

I feel like it would make it almost... Pointless? "Oh yea this character may have had their whole character arc, but surprise! They aren't REALLY their own person and are instead this dude who already had his character arc!"

2 - They/Them Dante Supremacy™

Now, considering that the meme They/Them Dante post that I made blew up and is now my most popular post on my blog, I think its safe to say where I stand on the Dante's Pronouns part of everything-

I think it would be kind of... dismissive of that to make "Oh yea they were they/them to hide their identity" Because uhhh. Their identity is already hidden. We can't see their face. Literally anyone could have their head taken, a clock replaced, and that outfit slapped on and it generally wouldn't matter-

I feel like it kind of would send the message of "They can only count as they/them because their everything is hidden and we can't tell anyway" which??? No??? Even once Dante's actual head gets revealed, if people start switching calling them to whatever gender they look the most like and the game still uses they/them I'm Going To Bite People.

3 - ??

The least plot relevant, and the most just vibe based is- I just kinda feel like this type of reveal in writing often kinda feels like a cop out? I mean, I'm sure there's probably a well done version of one of these, but I sure as hell haven't found it yet-

I mean, in a BIG city with TONS of characters, there is SO MUCH plot that a character can have, without needing to jump back to a character that they already have. Sure- Project Moon Protags often have a Big Reveal, and its often Shocking- but does it really need to be a rehashed reveal from the first game? "boo he's old news get new material" ya know?

Just craving fluff and imagining College Au Shuggy celebrating the holidays by just doing very unchristmassy things together. They both seem like the type to like certain aspects of Christmas only to then be hit by waves of depression when the actual holiday arrives, so they just huddle under the covers together and watch Christmas classics such as “Die hard” or Gremlins together instead while eating Pizza and drinking eggnog till they can’t stand this stuff for another year. Buggy gives Shanks his gift at 2 am in the morning, an extremely ugly and old tacky sweater he found at a thrift shop a while ago. Shanks can immediately tell that it was cheap and Buggy most likely just went out and got him… SOMETHING, but also it’s hideous in a way he just adores and it has one of his favorite childhood cartoon characters on it and the fact alone Buggy went out and got him something is PERFECT and to Buggy’s horror that thing is gonna be his favorite sweater till the end of time. Buggy on the other hand suffers a mild mental breakdown and “Oh god I am the scum of the earth” reaction because Shanks actually went into a makeup store and got him an expensive eyeshadow Palette that Buggy has been eyeing for a while now. Kicker is Shanks didn’t even know that’s the Palette Buggy wanted, he legit just spent an hour in there with a picture of Buggy describing what Buggy looks for in makeup and what colors he likes and such and such and accidentally just landed on the correct one and rightfully deducted that he would probably like this one.

But also... have I given any indication that this will be a story with a happy end? Because, I've written ends with a doomed one sided love triangle, one of the main characters being hated by the love of their life and in a hospital, while the one the other was chasing rejected them indefinitely... it was my magnum opus for quite a while, so who's to say I'll give this one an ending like that?

Anyway, I love the idea of them spending the holidays together! Buggy doesn't really have any close relatives to go to, all his friends went home, and thinks that Shanks is the same way, because why else would he stay behind with him?

Shanks is just so happy that he can finally be with his boyfriend. He makes hot cocoa (and it's horrible, but Buggy remakes it), he buys a cardboard cutout of a Christmas tree and they put stickers on it instead of decorations. At one point they start printing out memes and pictures of themselves and stick them on there as well. (Shanks secretly writes a wish, something cheesey like how he wants them to be like this for the rest of their lives, on the back of some of the photos)

In all reality, I believe that "Die Hard" and "Home Alone" (because these two franchises are basically the same, just one is kid coded lol) would be both Shanks and Buggy's favourites. I mean look at how they turned out ahahaha tho I must confess, I've never seen Gremlins, so I'll just trust you on that one':)

Like he would look for hours to find the most raggedy and washed out looking sweater with the ugliest print of like... a green cow on red mars with a Christmas hat on both the cow and mars saying "moo-ry christmas" in comic sans or something horrifying like that. Like that one video of the guy who bought a card for the wrong occasion, for wrote a message to someone else and scratched out the name to look like it was a second hand card. I couldn't find the og video but I found this tiktok, hope it helps with the explanation.

In my mind Buggy thinks it's hilarious. Him and Shanks both love pranks and just jokes like this in general, so he would get it, right? Shanks liking it unironically wasn't in the plan. But then bad comes to worse and Shanks takes gift giving seriously - Buggy is caught off guard.

I love the image of Shanks standing in the cosmetics section of a big store that was one of the best according to google. He's just staring intensely, and color checking, and googling, and staring again - trying his best to remember everything Buggy had told him about make-up.

At some moment in the time he's searching, one of the workers there goes up to him to see if he needs help thinking "aw, poor lost man looking for something for his girlfriend, he looks like he needs help" and then Shanks shows her a picture of an honest to God clown going "I want the best for my boyfriend". And they have a little "This is your man?" "yeah" "Look at the picture" "that's mine :')" "and you're ok with this?" "imma stick beside him " moment. And then they just start looking together. Before they notice it's a whole horde of helpers and Shanks going all, "is that teal? I think he said he loves teal, but not one with glitter, wait, bring back the cherry red. Can you compare it to the sour cherry. Which one would match his lipstick best? This one's his favorite." and they're like a council, super invested at that point.

I also like to think that on new years eve, they're watching a marathon, and Buggy just falls asleep on Shanks's chest halfway through. He does that often and Shanks loves it. He doesn't even care that much that sometimes his make-up would be imprinted on his shirt .

Shanks showing love to Buggy's nose, despite his insecurities, makes me melt. (spoilers ig:) I was going to have a little dialogue/confrontation that portrayed that, but I was going to make it a "Shanks not caring about it and just acting like it's not there" thing, but him actually thinking it's cute and being all loving towards the one thing he's most insecure about is actually way better. I might utilize it later on lol :))

Ah, the dragon masters. The fact that dragons can learn spinjitzu honestly makes sense to me, all the way back in the pilot, I thought the way the dragons spun around in order to travel to the other realms was obviously related to Spinjitzu.

I like that Rontu is basically just a typical gym coach in dragon form.

Egalt, on the other hand... Well, I do really like his design. But man, he's just every bad "teaching" method from Wu rolled into an even grumpier old man. Talking down to his students, constantly being negative instead of giving positive reinforcement, no clear instructions, giving no answers or even hints to Arin's question, nothing! Maybe I care about this more than other people because I've worked as a teacher on and off for years, but even when I first started watching the show, back when I was still in college, I was already noticing these things about Wu and they already bothered me.

Anyway, calling it now, the students from "last time" Egalt keeps vague-ing were Wu and Garmadon, and Wu learned all his bad "teaching" methods from this guy.

Bonzle being a living spell is weird, but honestly not that out of the question for a crazy fantasy world like Ninjago.

(This ended up more general fanfic thoughts, not solely unique to this fandom. But certain things definitely apply.) Under the cut cause I'm bored at work and I rambled:

It's all about the details? Sometimes things read a bit formulaic, like you mentioned. Like fics are running down a checklist because a lot of other fics in every single fandom do the same, so everyone just copies each other. It's fanfic sex. Sex isn't very often... like that. It can be, but ehhh. Depends on what's being written. Is this a hookup? Established sex between a couple in love? First time between an inexperienced young gay couple w few resources? Based on the scenario, things can sound off. Like, the classic 'according to the story, they've only made out w each other before and now they're going right into anal?' Oh this isn't it. I just find a lot of the time the better depictions consider foreplay foreplay foreplay, and not follow that kiss 123 finger then fuck formula, falling into that as a crutch instead of writing something more out of "order." (lol even 3 is a little unnecessary wasting time mentioning if you fuck a lot or write good foreplay or this couple is very comfortable w each other. Consider: the body knows what it wants or doesn't want yet. Relaxation/arousal. It just reads sometimes like, well that's the next step, right? Repetitive.) OR maybe the character is nervous/not relaxed and the preparation process is difficult, that's soooo interesting to write scenes working through that, but I find that kinda rarely depicted because maybe writers don't think it's sexy? It can be, pleeeaase. That's accurate and realistic, too. Do these characters like each other, are they into each other? Actually turn them on! Switch it up, what is happening to the body.

You know know that scene in Friends where Monica is listing off numbers as locations on the body and to vary the order attention is given to each?? That's great, love that no matter the gender haha. And what exactly are the fingers doing in there, sometimes I read stuff and it's like, the ass or the hand does not work like that - just massage and thrust and and find the prostate hahaha. And don't skip the lube or era appropriate substance esp for inexperienced characters! Since a lot of this specific pairing focuses on the early relationship stages. "Just use spit" honey NO he's seventeen and nervous and he's gonna hate that. They're not isolated in the woods or fucking a stranger in a club bathroom (maybe they are, but most of the time they're just in a bed or a couch haha) And that's just a different situation. The scenario honestly just has to make sense and the details all kinda make the story what it is. It's mismatched vibes that throw something off more than any sex act in particular. (these virgins immediately falling into strict dom/sub roles, calling each other degrading names or ill-depicted bdsm right from the beginning of their relationship - has the writer only watched a certain type of porn for reference? Do they think all gay sex is inherently kinky in that specific way?)

I also find that a lot of people in general are uncomfortable writing/depicting rimming so its omitted entirely where in the progression of the scene it would make sense (and I've seen writers across fandoms talking about specifically not wanting to write it) and I guess I get it to an extent, but you're reading/writing gay characters, it's important! Bypass the taboo. It ain't. 😝 Sometimes more helpful than just fingers, to be honest. Strictly focusing on penetration isn't the be all end all goal or only way to write men fucking. (Or women and men or any combo to be quite honest)

I also also find just things that seem kinda silly to me especially when writing young guys - this mostly happens when I'm reading a sfw fic that juuuuust almost goes there but stops before dicks get involved. And I find it really funny because clearly the author doesn't want them to be but based on what I just read - they already are involved, you're just uncomfortable mentioning it for some reason even though you've chosen to ship gay men. It's totally ok to not want to write smut but there's definitely a 'read between the lines' vibe I get sometimes where I can tell the author NEEDS you to know 'hey! Reminder I'm one of the good ones NOT thinking about these characters actually having sex!!' Hmmm. "We should stop before we get carried away" and it's like ok cool but they're already totally hard based on what was previously written. You could have just not mentioned anything but the way things are written sometimes it feels like a fic is inserting a flashing sign at a certain point saying 'STOP! DO NOT THINK ABOUT SEX IN THIS FIC!'

They're teenagers (and I know everyone is different blah blah), and I guess I see a lot of times an unrealistic time frame over the progression of a physical relationship. I think sometimes people want to avoid having characters 'rush into it' and make them wait and maybe the story is playing with themes of repression/unlearning shame, which in this fandom definitely can be an engaging theme, but I read stuff and just feel... these boys wouldn't be waiting as long as implied to actually get physically intimate. There's no way. Hormones and how much they're into each other, its happening. Embrace that. Teenage or young adult guys. Be honest.

Idk there's a million ways to depict sex and I'd honestly worry less about the mechanics of what everyone else does and just... let the story and ideas take you there. Even as someone with a lot of uhhhhh practical experience haha I'll read back my own writing like, ok who fucks like this though? LOL. And it's fine. Fanfic does lend itself to having a fantasy lens, its not always hyper realistic, and i don't think it really needs to be one hundred percent meticulous. Translating actions and feelings and sensations into prose can be soooo awkward to word and strange to describe. If you had fun being creative the writing shows instead of 'well I guess I'm writing a sex scene and I'm embarrassed about it so I'll just copy what everyone does' nahhh. Have fun, get things wrong, get weird with it. The oddest little detail changes and adds a lot. 😘

Backstory: Eliana was born in with a semi-normal family. She had a father, Michael, and a mother, Terra. When Eli had turned about 6 months old when Michael realized he was gay and wanted a divorce. Terra went along with it, as she was a closeted lesbian. She couldn't stand being in a marriage with a man, so once the divorce was finalized, Michael and Terra stayed friends but went to live on their lives. Terra kept Eliana, as Michael wasn't sure that traveling in a van would be safe for a 6 month old, and met her later wife -Vanessa- when Ana was 3. They got married on Eli's birthday, with her permission of course, and have given Eliana the world and more that a girl could ask for while living in Forks, Washington. Michael comes to visit Eliana for special days just whenever she wants to see him because Terra and Vanessa decided that it'd be good for her to have connection to her father, despite calling him "Uncle Mike." Eliana was diagnosed with autism at 7 years old after she had a meltdown about having to sleep on silk sheets in a hotel that the 3 women were staying at for a trip.

She's lived in Forks her entire life and doesn't mind the quietness or rain because at night, when the rain clears, she see the stars and often draws pictures out whatever shape(s) she sees in them.

First Meeting

"Do I not look Italian-?" Eli asked, laughing as Mike was in shock learning the autistic member of the group was Italian.

"No, you look white-!! Like, white white." Mike protested as Eliana walked with Bella to her truck.

"Bye bye, Mikey~!" She called as Bella shook her head and ruffled Eliana's dual colored hair.

"So, I'm guessing you and Mikey are close?" Bella questioned as Eliana moved closer to her to avoid bumping into the Cullens.

"Eehhhh, if you wanna call teasing each other like siblings close because you're both only children then yes...? Besides, we grew up neighbors, so we see each other every day and let me tell you- being surrounded by loud neurotypicals hurts like hell."

"Really?" Bella looked up at Eliana as the smaller female sat on the hood of the car. "I thought they were ok- a bit better than the people back in Arizona."

"Ehhh, depends on the person. Since I'm autistic, and I don't speak for every autistic person, I have sensory issues meaning I can't handle super loud crowds or friend groups. But they were my only friends, so I sucked it up as best as I could and dealt with it. You, however, aren't autistic and don't really mix with the loud crowd and tend to avoid them as much as possible," Eliana explained pulling a marker out of her patch-filled messenger bag and started to draw stars along her left arm.

"Oh.. that makes sense, yeah," Bella replied after a moment, watching Eliana draw on herself. Throughout the day, Bella noted that Eli would do this whenever a certain blonde was around. According to Jessica, Eliana has had a thing for one of the mysterious Cullens- Jasper. Yet, he was seemingly taken by Alice. It hurt Eliana, so she took to drawing on herself to avoiding staring at him and causing drama.

Yet, every so often, Jasper would catch himself staring at her and he looked away, attempting, and failing, to not be caught.

The reason why the pair did this was because Jasper saved her life exactly 3 years ago today.

"Are you serious dude? The Freak?" A student inquired, laughing his ass off as Eli walked passed, clutching her books and not noticing the 5 squares of toilet paper stuck to the bottom of her shirt.

"Yeah! I mean, besides, it's not like anyone's going to stand up for the retard and won't it be awesome to humiliate it in front of the whole school?" The student's friend spoke up, grinning and seeing Eliana walk to class faster to avoid being seen crying out of distress.

Later that day, Eli had forgotten all about the worry of being humiliated. She felt safe and at peace. Besides, she had gotten to talk to one of her more mysterious classmates, Rosalie, today and she promised to help Eli get a good hair-do that would make her feel happy.

Life felt perfect and completely worry-free... until one of her bullies kicked her in the back and caused her to trip down the stairs of the building and fall into the wet pavement.

She groaned, rolling onto her side and hugging her ribs as blood ran down her face from her nose and her head spun in dizziness. She was in so much pain that she didn't process a car come barreling down to her until she heard a large crash and a familiar voice yell.

Two sets of hands pulled her up, eliciting a cry of pain from the younger as pressure was put onto her right foot. One of the 'strangers' whom had helped her up, scooped her up bridal style as she began to fall in and out of consciousness.

After a few hours had gone by, Eliana woke up, groaning.

"Ah, I see you're awake, Eliana. You gave us a scare there," a gentle and friendly voice said earning a tiny smile from the teen.

"Hi, Dr. Carlisle..." She groaned out, putting a hand to her head and flinching in the process.

"Hi, dear," he greeted, sympathetically and gently running his hand through her long bright blonde hair. The doctor cared deeply for her and she loved him like he was her dad. "Can you tell me what happened this time?"

"I- uhmmm... I don't think I remember a lot of it..." She told him, honestly and shrugging a tad. Carlisle merely smiled reassuringly.

"It's alright, you don't have to try and remember all of it now, but would you be able to give me a gist of what happened?" He questioned, sitting in one of the rolly stools while checking her heartbeat.

"Uhmm... I think I tripped down the stairs... and then hit my head really hard, but I don't remember anything after that," She told him, trying to focus on the light he was using to check her eyes.

"You tripped? Eli... these injuries don't typically come from tripping down the stairs- accident prone or not," Carlisle started, looking at her and she moved her gaze to her hands. "Are you sure someone didn't kick you down the stairs or anything?"

Eliana tensed and stayed quiet. She didn't want the senior to get in trouble, but her silence did confirm that someone did kick her down the stairs.

"Eli..? Come on, you can't stay quiet for this, honey. Jasper and Rosalie already told Chief Swan everything that they know and he's waiting to talk to you downstairs, as he's wanting to know if your mothers will press charges against whomever hurt you and, apparently, tried to run you over."

"He's gonna kill me if I say anything though..." Eli buried her face into her knee that she could move and groaned audibly.

"But he also could be behind bars. Freedom from him, Eliana, wouldn't that be nice?" Ana paused for a moment and nodded a bit, earning a kind smile from Carlisle.

However, before Carlisle could continue, one of the Cullens entered the room with Eliana's stuff. This one must've been Jasper, due to the fancy shirt he wore and his wavy/curly blonde locks were pushed out of his face that as Rosalie had described.

"Ah, Jasper, here with Eliana's things. Thank you, son," He said as Jasper sat her bag by her shoes and nodded, then went to leave, not making eye contact with either.

"Hey, Jasper-?.. uhm... Thanks.. to you and the other person who helped," Eliana called. Jasper had froze at the door when she called his name. He'd never heard it said so... kindly and softly before. There was no sound of reassurance or manipulation behind it- just pure gratitude and the blonde could sense that from her, even without his power.

Partially turning to face her, he smiled at her kindly.

"You're welcome, ma'am. I'm just glad to see you're not bleedin too bad," He said to her, with his Southern accent coming out before leaving the room. This left Carlisle chuckling softly at his son for sneaking in a thank-you to her for not causing him to go feral and Eliana completely in love with him.

PALISADE 28.crazy good this week etc

New radio person for the intro...! This comes at a good moment. I still miss Baldwin Home like. That very first PALISADE intro is genuinely so hard to beat... but this feels good. I'm once again thinking about Austin writing these... The style used for Black Screens intros obviously shines through (she's his protégé) but she does have her own voice already (way more rhyming? I mean, I'd have to doublecheck HIS intros, it's literally just a feeling). Just the tone used and intonation already does a lot. Austin is so good at this fr. I'm still curious how he even approaches that. Also the "watch me unloose 80 Ls on these next lines" I knewwww that's 80 Ls for real as soon as Parti said illogical. I wonder if he wrote that bit first trying to see how many Ls he could fit in there & then finetuned it to get to a good number? I guess that's just how I would do it.

(who knows if we'll ever get a description for Parti. we never did for Black. maybe if she shows up in a conflict turn somehow? so im just fuckin around for now... i haven't sold myself on the clothes. i'm just not a fashion guy. but i do like the braids)

Oh & new guy alert part 2!!! New Keith character! And he has a funny hat. Not even funny as in goofy it just makes me laugh a bit because my dad and maybe every 5th 70+ y/o man I see has a hat like that. Love the sequin poncho.

I have the. I got Armor Astir & a lot of the playbooks other people made in a bundle a while back and I'm real torn if I should just look at the Investigator because I'm really curious. But. I also love to be surprised. So I probably won't, but it's good to know I COULD, if I wanted to. Anyways, I was pretty sure it'd be another B-Plot character too, just because it makes sense. Brnine COULD go alone on a B-Plot, I guess, but it's more fun with 2 groups to jump between, surely. Though this means the Eclectic-Brnine dynamic is crucial! I hope they can meet up soon... ok so I wrote everything else about Eclectic down yesterday & then noted down "vibes?" as break between paragraphs because all I had at that point was the description & I wanted to get back to this. And ooohhh my god the vibes are fucking immaculate right off the bat I'm having a hard time to not Already be obsessed with this guy he's SO funny conceptually and it KEPT getting better... Truly delighted with this new type of guy (& Keith is doing a voice!). And I fucking love the hooks. Truly so great to me. And I'm VERY excited it's a delegate like genuinely so happy. I was mourning the loss of a branched onscreen (okay.I still am) but this does make it worth it. Ever since they got introduced basically I so badly wanted to know anything more about them, but especially what Austin mentioned in the episode itself: the delegates relationships to the divines they are made from & of course the divines themselves (who are alive!!! Apparently that was already written in a dossier way back when, but I rarely read those). That has me sooo excited.

Oh and the like... I only thought about this just now but the connection there to Thisbe's new project is. That's gotta be something! "The divine who's being held captive somewhere on this planet, and has been tortured for millennia" hearing a message of... That this can end & rest is possible and it's SO CLOSE? But does that just make it worse... Ohhhhh. Yeah this rules. What a great idea.

That project generally is really... god, I love Thisbe so much. I love how Janine talks about her and what she thinks and why she does what she does. Thisbe's relationship to work and being a tool and of use is so interesting to put here, with the divines wanting to rest. (And Janine saying something like... Thisbe thinks of herself in relation to divines how Mow is to her? Kind of?) And saying it seems so solitary a project... every divine should know about it. Every divine deserves the right to rest. But it's also a call to action of sorts when she talks about like... "shouldn't you want to protect this?" I think her "Fighting is not my purpose, but there is nowhere else for me until the fighting is over." hook could be in conservation here too... Also I'm just looking forward for Thisbe to Broadcast again. It was like, one of her things in PARTIZAN. I really liked her & Cori working on this together with the. Experience they just had behind them. Sylvi & Janine reading the hooks for each others characters kind of sheepishly was soooo funny "I forgot how bitchy this was!". That's good stuff to me. (as an aside: god, Thisbe has always had good as hell hooks/beliefs/whatever else. Remember "Operant Broun lies to me because they believe I am a person."? Banger. ) I also love that she thought of this/about this at the rib(?) of Barricade. Barricade as an axiom who had this close (& good, protective) relationship with another axiom...

btw now that Leap is NOT coming back I do miss him a bit. Brnine talk show. This was sooo good. After they joked about it in PAL25 too. I recognized the hosts name, but wasn't quite sure from where until I read the dossier - of course he's that guy from the podcast. God. I have got to relisten to that sometime... I remember Ali on one of the recent Gathering Information ep (the one w/ Austin on, I think) mentioning a conversation that was like. stressful to do. and then also to listen to? (since she has to for production/editing) and I figured it would be another Gucci-type talk but ooohh my god. This was sooo. EDIT: ACTUALLY what if it wasn't even. What if it's about to be this talk with Rye edit: GALLICA i cant believe noone called me on this. mixing my elects up. rye is the one gur killed (mvp). Austin was sounding a bit ominous about it at the end of this episode! HUGE shoutouts to Ali again she is just absolutely killing it this season for real... And I honestly feel like overall Brnine was, considering the situation, doing very well. Genuinely. You're feverish and hollowblooded and have this fucking. Guy needling you & asking the stupidest questions... & like. "You made Kalmeria. They'd never let you rot in jail." of courseeee they want Brnine working for them. They're so GOOD at what they do. They messed with the parts of A Fucking Divine. . I just had a scary thought and it involved Mustard Red. But. Surely not. Nooo. I'm shaking my head. However Arbitrage? An Arbitrage deal (like they tried to make them take before) would work just perfectly for this, wouldn't it...

Hah oh wow I just thought of this but I am so excited for people who haven't listened to TM to meet him now. He's not even my favourite he just makes me crazy in a way almost no other character does? Like there's something so WRONG with him. And there's things wrong with a lot of FatT characters but it's like... Well. Grand Magnificent.

I love the thought of them watching Brnines interview at the next movie night (POOR BRNINE.) but I also want to know what Eclectic would pick for movie night. Oh and Partial too. Though he may not be staying I would still really love to know. Partial coming on board for the mission has me intrigued generally.

Oh and Gur talking! Even if just a little. I still feel so bad for them. "I believe in whispers in ears"... and they have reason to now. Figure is a person trying their best to do good & make changes, which is what Gur wants. I just wish they weren't a specter haunting someone elses body & what even happens when Figure rolls a 10+. Is Gur still there and Figure just stops seeing him? oohh it hurts a bit.you can't do this to him you can't (related: I extremely forgot about the other specters and ghosts and ghouls and whatnot that Figure can also see. It's not just my friend Gur Sevraq. Looking forward to hear more about that & how it affects Figure so much as to roll with disadvantage!)

Love to learn just a little more about devotion. I really need to just relisten to that again & think about it a bit harder.

At one point Austin says "Still flanked by guards, you are" and it caught me off guard & made me wheeze. He didn't even do that on purpose . I get him I do this way too often(realize I forgot to say part of a sentence and pack it at the end)
