#like my communication styles

I don't know man like it feels like something simply irrevocably wrong with me. Every relationship platonic or otherwise with a person who cared enough to talk with me first always ends like this and no matter how hard I try. Like I simply cannot make people feel like I care about them. I do not know how to communicate and verbally expressing my feelings to people come off as disingenuous.

They're trying so hard to not hurt my feelings but it's impossible to not feel fucking broken that the person who basically saved my life feels like a prop in my life.

And like it's not just them, its not them being unfair or fake or whatever. I'm not defensible in this situation because this is like every close friend I've ever had has ended up feeling this way, every person I have ever dated has felt this way.

I have tried to deal with it in therapy but I don't see results, I get told its not a problem its just not finding the right people but while some (my ex) were definitely not good people with good faith actions others, like this person, are people who genuinely care and are there for me.

I feel pathetic, like I'm begging them to give me another chance, but I dont know how to explain without it appearing manipulative or making /them/ feel bad that if i cannot fix this communication error then I don't think I will ever be able to have a meaningful relationship with anyone ever.

so there's like the conundrum of, if we do try to fix it and discuss the ways to respond that make them feel heard is that in turn going to exacerbate the issue bc they feel pandered to rather than listened to?

I just really hate that like, they're the 'wronged' party in this situation will have to do the legwork of teaching me to communicate with them. My intent didn't translate and they suffered because of it, but because my attempts to correct this on my own failed if they decide we can try again the brunt of the emotional labor feels like it falls on them

I dunno, it sucks and it hurts that the only person I've every felt actually knows me can't decide if our friendship is salvageable and it's both not my fault because we just communicate too diffrently and 100% my fault because I wasn't capable of communicating my intent. And it extra sucks that if they give me another chance it feels like them taking on more work in the relationship

the silliest fandom problem to have is curating my online space so carefully and so vigilantly that when mentions of a truly delusional post break containment and intrigue me, i have to use quantum physics and enter the fifth dimension just to find that post because i want to have a vicious little popcorn moment

How would the Bill situation go in the monster hunter pines au?

Ford would definitely still summon Bill. He’s a curious guy and so of *course* he’d read a random ancient incantation out loud still. Bill then does what he does in canon and sweet talk Ford and gain his trust, slowly turning him against his brother while also trying to keep Stanley from figuring out what’s going on

The issue here though is that Stanley can see through BS quite easily. He’s not one that can be tricked, and so he gets on Bill’s trail faster than Bill anticipated

I’m not sure how the later stuff would go down yet, but there’s that at least

It’s kind of like in my Moth Psycho 100 AU with Mogami and Reigen at first, how Reigen is under the impression that the voice in his head is his only true friend and the only one he can really trust because he’s just been so isolated

Don't let their looks fool you, they are actually good parents. (Maybe "okay" parents, they did let Liv run away with her boyfriend they never met and his band at 15. (But she was responsible and called them to explain her decision and that she already talked with the school and will be taking special exams at the end of every semester, so it's all good lmao.))

In my AU the Techno/Rock Trolls are the largest population of mixed trolls. They live concentrated along the shore between the Rock and Techno Kingdoms and also extending north into the no-man's-land on the map. This whole area is simply referred to as "the Shallows". They have their own communities and villages there which are located partially on land or exposed reefs/rocks and partially in the water.

Liv grew up in one of those villages. Her parents own a small apartment carved into a cliff side above the ocean. Personally they prefer walking over floating/swimming, and they can't stay in the sun for too long either (they all inherited sun sensitive skin from their Techno sides) so this way they're mostly on land and also aren't in direct sunlight after noon.

It's a modest home but I imagine they must have the prettiest sunrises.

Despite the Shallows having their own communities they still belong under the Rock Kingdom which doesn't really care about them or their different needs much, so a lot of the trolls living there are very anti authority.

A little concept sketch of my Gravity Falls self insert! And as you can see, she's a werewolf! 0u0

She's normally in her first form when she's out and about, and when it's getting close to the full moon she looks like her second form before going full wolf! During that time period she starts getting a powerful craving for raw meat and she gets really itchy as her fur starts coming in, then the ears and tail follow! (At first glance I'm sure most of the townsfolk would just think she was a furry 😂)

In general she's very cheery, and she exhibits a lot of dog-like behavior (getting excited when the doorbell rings, noticing and perking up when she sees squirrels, shaking her whole body when she gets wet) and she has a somewhat irrational fear of rabies so she's not a very good hunter and actually tends to AVOID wild animals in the forest and stray dogs/cats. When she moves to Gravity Falls she opens a curios and oddities shop with her partner in crime, which a certain conman sees as competition, leading him and the mystery twins to go check it out 👀❓️

Got something short and spoopy in the works and decided I also wanted to draw something for it too. :)

First sketch

I wanted to change it because it felt too cartoony for how serious I wanted the tension to feel. You can tell I put my signature lil eye style and even little 3D grooves, I was so confident the first drawing would be perfect lololol

Reused the arm and hand though because those came out CLEAN-

Posting it here so it can live on somewhere at least!

Also posting it because idk when I might actually finish the whole thing due to classes and event stuff I'm doing that's going to take priority. So! Take these humble sketches as consolidation as I dig my own way through college. ^^
