Aether: Hard little lean, 4-6 age range, Paimon and Xiao are main caregivers.

Lumine: Slight caregiver lean from taking care of her brother, 3-5 age range, Dainsleif her only caregiver.

Jean: Caregiver, tried regressing and she just didn't like it, she doesn't have a designated little but watches over anyone regressed around her.

Lisa: Razor’s caregiver, will watch over whoever she has to but sticks to Razor mostly.

Amber: She usually gets littles just dropped off with her, she will take them on adventures until their caregivers come for them.

Noelle: Noelle has watched over littles a few times but is nobody's caregiver, she tried regression and now does it occasionally to rest, 0-2 age range.

Barbara: Barbra doesn't understand littles much but doesn't mind when they're dropped off for a bit.

Sucrose: Sucrose is a puppy regressor, Albedo is her main caregiver but Jean and Lisa also watch her although she doesn't regress often.

Fiscle: Very clingy little and loves being carried about, Oz watches over her, 2-4 age range, usually with Razor and Bennet for playdates.

Mona: Mona has only regressed a few times but when she does she's very small and stays isolated in her house, 0-2 age range and very bratty, Kaeya comes in to check on her occasionally and will make sure she sleeps.

Kaeya: He checks in on Mona and Fischl a lot as a big brother caregiver, 8-10 age range, Albedo and Jean usually leave him be ‘cause he's very independent but he usually ends up with Rosaria watching him while he plays.

Diluc: He just watches over whoever shows up and needs help, def goes batman on anyone who upsets the littles, he gives his maids days off if he sees one of them slipping.

Razor: A little wolf regressor, of Lisa isn't there to come get him Andrius will keep him safe from any harm or take him to Bennett, he's very chaotic and messier than usual.

Bennett: Bennett used to just watch over Razor and Fishcl but ended up trying regression, he doesn't have a caregiver and is always just with Fischl, Razor or both and stays with them to play, 6-8 age range.

Ningguang: Has no fucking clue how to deal with littles but Beidou has dropped Kazuha off before and she just threw some money and chaperone at him so he could go shopping.

Beidou: Kazuha caregiver and only Kazuha's caregiver, she won't let him out of her sight and keeps him on the boat.

Kequing: Kequing is a partial regressor, she goes half and half between normal and cat like but never fully kitty so she doesn't need and has no caregiver.

Xiangling: Doesn't fully understand the littles but loves to cook for whoever she's watching until the caregiver comes.

Chongyun: Very small regressor, Xingqui is his main caretaker and he's a very nonverbal baby, 0-2 age range, regresses often.

Xingqiu: Chongyun's caregiver, regresses a few times in playdates with chongyun but mostly watches over him, 5-7 age range.

Qiqi: Can't regress cause she is already a kid, she writes down all about littles so she can remember and follows them around, making sure to get them to their caregivers.

Venti: Baby regressor, has been watched by a lot of caretakers, regresses rarely but when he does he needs to be watched or he'll get into trouble or get hurt.

Klee: Gets the little's into trouble and solitary confinement constantly, she loves hanging out with littles cause there's not many kids who wanna hang out with her.

Ajax: Only regresses when he's very stressed, Zonghli watches him when it happens.

Diona: Avoids all puppy regressors but doesn't mind hanging out with kids.

Zonghli: Hu Tao's main caregiver but sometimes watches over Ajax or Bihazu.

Xinyan: Usually hangs out with chongyun when regressed, doesn't regress often but Yunjin checks in randomly.

Albedo: Hard caregiver lean, almost never regresses, has nobody to watch him while small but kinda wishes he does, 7-10 age range, very much a big brother caregiver.

Ganyu: Sleepy goat regressor, Xianyun checks in but all she does is sleep and cuddle a plush.

Xiao: He will not take care of any little other than Aether cause he's too scared to upset a little, 4-7 age range, tried to keep it a secret but Zonghli found out and insists on taking care of him.

Hu tao: She babysits Xiao occasionally but it usually ends up as a playdate, 7-10 age range, regresses a LOT and is not trusted without supervision.

Rosaria: Babysits Kaeya and a few others but usually stays out of little business.

Yanfei: She's babysitted a few littles but isn't anyone's caregiver and doesn't know too much about littles.

Eula: Has no fucking clue about anything about littles and wants nothing to do with any of them when small cause she doesn't know what to do with them.

Kazuha: Beidou's little, he doesn't regress too much but Beidou usually tells him when he's too stress and has to, 2-4 age range, usually nonverbal when little.

Ayaka: Sweetest little ever, always follows what she's told, 3-7 age range, Thoma and Yoimiya are her main caregivers and Ayato is her babysitter.

Yoimiya: Always takes her littles to make custom fireworks! Takes her little everywhere and takes very good care of them, always forgets nap time though.

Sayu: Will take naps with littles but other than that she stays away, she's too tired.

Raiden: BANNED.

Sara: Hates taking care of littles so she just doesn't.

Kokomi: Sweet little, her and Gourou take turns watching each other or having playdates, 7-9 age range.

Thoma: Literally best caregiver around, cooks, cleans, good with kids, this male wife has my heart and all the littles, he has experience with some littles in Mondstadt.

Itto: Dumb asf and does not understand the littles but by god does him and the gang keep the little safe until they can find their caregiver.

Gourou: Puppy regressor, only regressed when stressed but very messy when regressed.

Shenhe: Wants nothing to do with any littles but if she ever cracks she would be stuck in baby space for a few days under Xi'anyuns care.

Yunjin: Sweet babysitter, only watches littles for a few hours at most.

Yae: Banned. She was such a bitch to a little and she's not allowed anymore.

Ayato: He regresses sometimes, sometimes watches Ayaka, 3-5 age range.

Yelan: Couldn't care less about littles.

Kuki: Noise sensitive when little, 7-9 age range, just follows the gang when she's little cause she can't always find Heizou, very sweet babysitter.

Heizou: Kuki's main caregiver, doesn't take care of any other littles and usually isn't around when she's small so the gang comes and gets him.

Tighnari: Loves taking his littles on nature walks and teaching them stuff, very strict on naptimes and making sure they regress regularly if they need it, Collei and Cyno are his only littles.

Collie: Quiet and sleepy regressor, very impure regression, 3-5 age range.

Dori: Tried to scam a little and is not banned from seeing anybody small.

Cyno: Can go months without regressing, less talkative and makes less jokes when little, prefers to stay inside but likes nature walks too, 5-7 age range.

Candace: Mother caregiver, watches over Dehya or whoever asks her to.

Nilou: Little and kitty regressor, 4-7 age range, hardly ever regresses but she's sweet and independent when she does.

Nahida: Scara's caregiver and watches over Layla too, doesn't care if she's mom or big sister or whatever, she just wants to make her littles happy.

Layla: Sleepy pup and little regressor, 3-8 age range, loves to nap and color when small, she hangs out with Scara when small.

Scara: Bratty and unpredictable little, gets into trouble when Nahida isn't watching him, 7-10 age range, always in timeout.

Faruzan: Doesn't care, will watch them if she has to but doesn't really care.

Alhethem: Severely noise sensitive when small, usually independent but Kaveh keeps an eye on him, he just likes to stay inside and read, 10-12 age range.

Yao Yao: Never got really told what a little is but was told to help Qiqi find Zonghli if Bihazu or Hu tao is acting weird.

Dehya: Rare for her to regress, usually a partial kitty regressor, loves makeup when small, 8-13 age range, oldest of them all.

Mika: Not trusted after falling for Klee's antics one too many times.

Bihzhu: Watches over actual kids, rare for him to regress but he does when his illness is really kicking his ass, Changsheng always helps him get somewhere calm and safe and gets Qiqi to get a caregiver.

Kaveh: Keeps an eye on Alheithem, regresses when he's really stressed, says he doesn't need a caregiver but Alheithem insists, 3-5 age range, pillow princess.

Kirara: Independent kitty regressor, runs around all of Teyvat just having fun when she's regressed, any box is now her nap place.

Lyney: Doesn't regress too much but him and Lynette take turns watching each other and Freminette, 1-4 age range, not very high maintenance but should definitely be kept an eye on.

Lynette: Kitty and little regressor, nonverbal and really just wants to nap the whole time, 2-3 age range, does not like interacting with people and will give you the side eye if you piss her off.

Freminette: Very common for him to regress and if he goes too long without it it messes with him, quieter than usual regressor, he's almost always underwater when it happens and goes to find his siblings or father after.

Neuvillette: Watches wrio and furina and regresses only when alone, very low maintenance and trustworthy little, 3-5 age range, regresses bi weekly.

Wriothesley: An older regressor, loves to color, Seigewinne and Neuvilette watch over him, but he doesn't regress too much.

Furina: Puppy and toddler regressor, can be a bit bratty but nothing Neuvilette can't handle, 3-5 age range, she can't watch over littles without regressing so it doesn't end well, impure regression is common for her and she regresses every few days.

Charlotte: Banned from seeing littles after trying to make a news article on it.

Navia: Big sister caregiver! Absolute sweetheart and bakes for her littles all the time, makes flower crowns and whatever her little wants to do she'll make it happen.

Chevruse: Just doesn't really care.

Cloud retainer: Keeps a close eye on Ganyu and Shenhe but doesn't really keep an eye on any other littles but if Ga-ming comes to her she'll step in immediately.

Ga-ming: Keeps an eye on whatever little he can and is always willing to help out, an older regressor and occasionally a pup regressor, struggles to take care of himself when small, so tries to find Xianyun or someone willing to take care of him, never lets go of his dog companion.

Chiori: If a little is left with her she'll take them to the cafe, get some sweets and find their caregiver, if she can't find the caregiver she'll leave them to watch her work while they talk until she puts them down for a nap.

Arlecchino: Will not take care of any kids other than her own.

Chloride: Just doesn't really wanna take care of littles.

Seigewinne: Takes care of Wrio only, very much a mom caregiver and very overprotective.

Sethos: CLUELESS.

Emile: Helps out but isn't too good at watching littles long-term.

Mualani: Kinich is her only little, very outdoorsy caregiver and will take them for rides on sharky, and hot spring breaks after.

This is going to be a LONG post...

I decided that I need to write about what kind of Kaeya, with what past and what feelings in the present I want to see in the work, so that later I don’t deviate in the character/behavior of my favorite boy.

And that's how this "character portrait" came about.

SO WHAT... Let's start with something simple - age?

Age: I'll take about 22-23, probably (because Crepus dies on Diluc's 18th birthday, he leaves for three years, and then returns at 21, and the guys let it be another year or two in contrast to the cold-brothers, oh, and Kaeya didn't celebrate his 18th birthday as is customary for the Ragnvindras, then there will be a separate chapter from this, probably)

Those who know the truth about him: Diluc, Varka, Albedo, Venti, Alice (I'm sure), Lisa, Adelinda (Kaeya doesn't know about this), Aether and Paimon.

They don't know the truth, but they will find out: Klee, Fischl, Jean (a separate chapter about how Jean recognizes is a must!!!) and possibly someone else.

Friends (separately): Venti, Mavuika.

Family (not native): Diluc (older brother), Wriothesley (almost like an older brother), Albedo (younger/older brother, depending on the situation), Klee (younger sister), Bennett (younger brother), Adelinda (mom), Elzer (almost a brother, somewhere on the level of a cousin), Navia (kind and beloved rich aunt).

THE NIGHT WHEN KAEYA AND DILUC FIGHTED:

1. He told because he was afraid of his own betrayal in his brother's eyes - when he saw how much Crepus' death had hurt Diluc, and realized his own thoughts of relief, he was afraid of himself - for a moment he thought that he might actually betray him, and then Diluc would be crushed again. He was immediately afraid of his thoughts, because he knew that he would never betray - he would not dare betray his home and loved ones, but these thoughts were still bursting at him, and he decided to tell his brother. Perhaps as punishment for that fleeting feeling of freedom after Crepus' death, he was ready for a fight, even if he hoped for acceptance.

2. His vision - at once a treasure, proof that he chose Mondstadt, but also proof that in his brother's eyes he is not an enemy, but a stranger (and this hurts, because Kaeya is now literally made of contradictions).

3. On the day of the quarrel, Alberich received serious injuries, after which he spent a long time recovering in the Cathedral, and then at Jean's house: a crack on his left collarbone, internal bleeding, several significant cuts, minus an eye (he has one, but he is blind), a scar on his eye, several burns all over his body (Diluc in secret helped with their treatment), a deep wound on his side and a fracture in his leg (an unsuccessful fall from the stairs, when Diluc pushed him, became a crack, and an incorrect parry of a claymore made a full-fledged fracture)... something like that? Maybe that will change...

4. After receiving Cryo, Kaeya felt like the most disgusting creature in Teyvat, because he betrayed his brother, was betrayed by him and received the eye of a god, proving that he now walks under the Archons, whom he should have hated. Pain, lack of control over the Cryo he had just received, shock and mortal fatigue made him look at his brother, who realized everything that had happened that evening, smile falsely and, leaning on his almost broken sword, go towards Mondstadt. Perhaps at that moment he did not understand that he was going to Jean, and simply hoped to die somewhere along the way, but barely being conscious, he reached his friend, and she provided him with first aid - she tried to ask, but Kaeya just kept silent, choking on tears on his friend's chest until he lost consciousness. Then Jean urgently delivered him to the Cathedral, where he began to recover, but due to the rain, he also caught a fever.

5. At the same time : Diluc didn't dare stop his brother, knowing that if he tried to say anything now, he'd either be rude and say something he'd regret, or burst into tears and beg for forgiveness (which wouldn't do any good for either him or Kaeya at that moment). So he shouted "I HATE—!" at Kaeya's back (not him, but the way things had turned out - his father's death, Kaeya, their fight, the fact that he almost killed him, but Kaeya would think it was directed at him), and ran into the house to Adelinda: he sobbed all over her clothes, expressed all his thoughts, insults towards Kaeya, which were replaced by self-flagellation and regret, fear that he didn't know how they should behave now, because after that they were definitely not brothers. Then he realizes that Kaeya is walking alone toward Mondstadt, injured and with unstable vision, and he's unlikely to be able (or willing) to defend himself if he's attacked. So he heads to Mondstadt, follows Kaeya's bloody footprints, which the knights on the bridge have already begun to cover with sand, and ends up being detained by Eroch "on suspicion of attempting to kill Kaeya Alberich." But Jean says they can't confirm it was Diluc until Kaeya comes to his senses and confirms the charges, and for now Diluc is simply forbidden to leave Mondstadt. He asks to go to the Cathedral to see Alberich, but Jean says that even though she protected Diluc, she won't let him near Kaeya until he says he wants to, because she only knows one person whose fighting style leaves such wounds and burns.

But then Kaeya will come to his senses and tell the knights that he was surrounded by treasure thieves near the Dragonspine, and he hasn't seen Diluc since he came to him as reinforcements. Eroch will leave angry and with nothing, Jean will ask if Diluc can come to him. Kaeya will allow it, but Jean will decide to stay just in case (Keya was against it, but he couldn't refuse Jean when she was so worried about him). In the end, Diluc will come in, examine Alberich, frown, and when Kaeya tries to start a conversation, he will sharply say that they can't be brothers after this (Diluc will mean how badly he injured Kaeya, and Kaeya will think that he is talking about his secret), and tomorrow Diluc will cross Kaeya off the list of the Ragnvindr family. Without giving Kaeya a chance to say anything, he will simply leave, and will only return when Kaeya is asleep to check on his wounds and burns. Diluc will then leave Mondstadt to deal with the emotions burning within him (anger, revenge, disappointment, regret, guilt, rage, etc.), and Kaeya will be very depressed.

AFTER:

Keya will learn to live in a new way for a long time (even if it is very old, like when he lived in Khaenri'ah, and tried to be self-sufficient at 5 years old): life in the role of "not Diluc's shadow" will make him fall many times, and rise with a new learned lesson or a built line of behavior for this or that case, even the most alarming. He will learn to lie much better, will start to seriously overwork (until now, but now only on days when he feels very bad) and react to all alarming factors by avoiding the problem and belittling it. But this was only 1 year without Diluc - in the second and third, he again learns to trust people and makes friends (Jean, of course, was always with him), next to whom he feels comfortable even without his behavior strategies and smiles out of politeness. He still returns to the distillery once every six months and no one is at all against it, even, as Adelinda said, Diluc allowed it. But he can no longer call Dawn Winery home, or the knights' barracks, or the floor of the house that he, Jean, and Albedo (with Klee, of course) rent together. Yes, the last place, the house opposite the Goth Grand Hotel, is often noisy, warm, and has people close to him, but he still doesn't rearrange the furniture and only leaves things at home that he can easily take with him if something happens. And even though Diluc didn't order him to leave the Winery, Kaeya couldn't accept the fact that he, a "nobody" for the Ragnvindr family, would live there. And so he left.

In the my au, he will live relatively happily (he will at least be happy with what he has: good friends, Jean, who will always protect him from any bad thoughts, Lisa, who will listen; everything is more or less peaceful with Diluc, so much so that sometimes he allows himself to tease him as "brother" and dream that this is true when Diluc does not shut him up and just rolls his eyes with the corners of his lips imperceptibly raised), but when he has his own place, he will begin to understand that he must devote time to himself, his feelings and desires, not avoid them, but accept them, and live the way he dreamed of since childhood - freely and completely sincerely happily.

His memories were hidden out of fear of his powers being used against him and being too dangerous for Y/n to handle on his own. Y/n see's ghosts and often helps those that want to move on. He also connects with them and brings a sense of happiness to lonely spirits. He is able to use the elements, but once he remembers his past. There is a reminence of the elemental power, but it isn't as strong as they used to be. Y/n knows all the gods, both before and after the Archon war and morns those that died during the war. He is often seen wearing a white two piece with a short crop top and a skirt, to resemble what his father once wore. It is mistaken that he is the ghost of Windrise because of his white apparel and his singing. Y/n wears more loose close that flow in the wind because of his brother and father.
