@staff i just gotta say as someone who has been on this webbed site for well over a decade, seen its prior highs and lows, had my crits but accepted all nice things have flaws and genuinely does love this platform and what it’s all about, all these new twitter-centric type updates has me for the first time in over ten damn years thinking about abandoning the site. i know im just one of hundreds of thousands of users, but it’s not a joke or exaggeration when people are saying you’re alienating and scaring off your core user base.
please. stop. dig into what you’re unique and good at, and do not try to become a replica of failing websites many of us fled or hate in the first place
