#ellen page cant act im sorry#i tried watching umbrella academy and i watched like 4 eps but god shes so bad im sorry#5 is better than her and hes like 14#i also just dont find anyone likable enough to keep watching i wikipediad the summary and honestly i think its enough for me ajdjd#like the premise is interesting its just not my cup of tea#but good shows are hard to find these days and im really picky with tv ahdjdj im not the type to be like oh itll grow on me#if i dont like it i no longer have qualms about dropping it like im sorry but i dont want to put the time into something im not invested in#signal really said let me fuck your standards for like every other show out there ajsjdjd#honestly the last show i got like super into was in october and it was solomons perjury#i finished the whole show in like 3 or 4 days i got so invested they paced it well it was interesting the actors were so good#idk i think pacing is one of the things that a lot of shows dont do well recently which is why its so hard to get invested in them#they want to do so much with the plot that they need time to set up but by the time they get to the interesting stuff ive lost interest#like i tried watching house of cards a while back and i couldnt even finish the first ep it dragged on forever i mean 20 minutes felt 1 hour#people who watch breaking bad and say 'it doesnt get good till s4' are stronger than me#why would you waste all that time if it isnt good from the get go?#like a movie fine its 2 to 2.5 hours usually whatever but like 3 episodes of a show. 1/4 (max) of a season#if it isnt good in an hour then just throw the whole show out you know#people who legit watch shows that are slow for a while i applaud you i cant do it i go nuts#maybe reality tv is garbage but you know theres drama every ep at least#like i watch competition shows a lot because theyre fast paced and theres twists and shit#like i was watching hells kitchen earlier and let me tell you i only watch for the drama ahdjdm#n e way back to my og point: she cant act#actually i feel like in recent yeara ive noticed how bad people are at acting? the way they deliver lines is uh not good#its not believable you know#and not to harp on signal but that was something i loved about it the acting was incredible
